Originally I wanted to make this for @taikouvember 2 k 2 4! (It could have fit for "L i g h t"!) {Though I made it a bit e a r l y!}

i used to freehand comics all the time as a child and since the part i liked was the drawing part i would just draw panel after panel because i didn't want to stop drawing to think about icky icky words, plus the story TOTALLY still made perfect sense! to me! and noone else, but 'whoooo caaaaares omgggg its not like comics and sequantial art are a communicative meeediummmm lmaoooooo'. i spent my entire childhood telling myself stuff like "oh pfft I know this story by heart- ill SIMPLY remember the dialogue and write it later" ...and. I can't help but admire baby maiora's (call that a minora ba tm tsk) fucking audacity? hubris? confident wrongness? kid couldn't even remember to finish the comics in the first place? INCREDIBLE levels of unearned self assurance, wish that were me, genuinely- what an icon!!! anyway i think i have forever cursed myself

Remus the type of guy to try to make a really horrible recipe because he thinks it sounds super good (like a vanilla pudding/strawberry jello/strawberry pie)

And Virgil is the type of person to try it at least once despite the fact he has texture issues with food (and also bc despite the fact he HAS these texture issues, he's a literal garbage disposal)

He'd be eating this jello pudding strawberry pie and texting Roman the whole time about it. "It tastes like a cheesecake that went horribly wrong" and "it's possibly the worst textural experience I've ever had" meanwhile Remus is eating it straight out of the tin (and maybe some of the tin too)

This is a real thing I've tried before BTW and yes I'm projecting my sensory issues onto Virgil

Writing these flashbacks is like, Jon is older then the reader by a few years. Which means he has more physical feelings for you then you do him, especially considering your more sheltered upbringing. It's just one constant battle in Jons head of wanting to protect your innocence versus his insides which just cannot stop looking at you wondering what it would feel like to be with you. The non stop frustration that Jon knows hes behaving the exact kind of way he for years has shielded you from noticing that other guys look at you just like that too.
