HELL YEAH LETS GO
Good evening, Tumblr user.
In front of you is a post asking everyone to list their favorite female Blorbos in the tags, stating that OP is tired of the focus on men in fandom.
You must participate and tag all of your favorite female characters.
If you include any characters who were canonically written as male in your tags regardless of reason, the reverse bear trap attached to your head will activate.
Begin.

Showdown 2k25
Just like last year I want to kick January off with a flat popularity contest, showdown 2k25.
Automatically competing - everyone from last year (list), with the following exceptions
Last years winner - Donna Noble
Possibly Rose Tyler as the 2023 winner, but I need to think on it a bit more
I'm going to reassess a few from last year, specifically the real people
Rules for new nominees (tardis wiki list referenced below)
Anyone on the list will automatically be accepted
TV companions MUST be on the list
EU companions not on the list will be considered on a case by case basis. If they meet a reasonable definition of companion I will accept them, basic guideline is has their own tardis wiki article so I can actually check, multiple stories with the Doctor, none of these guidelines are hard rules, if you can justify them to me, I'll let them in
Propaganda is not carrying over from last year, if you want to go to bat for someone, use this same form
You can use this form to make multiple nominations/give multiple bits of propaganda at once.
You have until at least the 1st of January
list of competitors, anyone in green has propaganda submitted for them

which doctor who have been submitted (so far)?
The doctor, the master, Rose Noble, Bill Potts, Yasmin Khan, Jake Simmonds, and Clara Oswald have been posted already, as well as Captain Jack Harkness, Toshiko Sato, and Ianto Jones from Torchwood. River Song, Madame Vastra, Jenny Flint, Alonso Frame, Cousin Eliza, Liv Chenkla, Helen Sinclair, Fritz Kreiner, Sam Jones, Liv Shaw, Tegan Jovanka, Nyssa, Izzy Sinclair, Christian Purcell, Ace McShane from Doctor Who, as well as Mary, John Hart, the Original Jack Harkness, Norton Folgate, Lizbeth Hayhoe, Tyler Steele, Gwen Cooper, and Owen Harper from Torchwood all have at least one submission. Safe to say, a lot lmao

Speaking of ignoring canon, I'm pretty sure it was said at least once or twice that humans might have magic or something among those lines, and we do see red haired girl with fire in the like artwork for the game
Dunno about you, but I'm ready to go "Oh? What was that? The wind? " about that plot point. It could be very relevant to the gameplay I'm still fully ready to ignore it unless it's executed really really well
I don't remember anything like that. Is it an N3 thing?
(Implied n2 spoilers below cut)
There's two things I can think of (that we already know of) that could be read as humans having magic - number one, of course, being the psychics. We don't really know what the extent of their powers is, but we know it's not just knowing stuff - see Hilda's curse, Hilda's maze, Eliza banishing Ziegler, Eliza's teleportation, et cetera.
Number two being the Renegades. Now I'm pretty sure you know my thoughts on the Renegades already, but I'll summarise - they definitely have powers. Lydia made a whirlwind in New Ignitia, and when the protagonist faces a Renegade and uses their powers the Renegade identifies them as having a Tyrant. Jin says a Tyrant egg specifically, but Coco has already mentioned an egg in earshot of Jin that very same conversation. Celine I think just talks about a Tyrant. So yeah, Renegade powers are definitely a thing.
But yeah if it is an N3 thing I know very little about n3 so you're going to have to explain.
People with magic could be very cool to explore, in my opinion? I get the 'fully ready to ignore canon' thing - heavens knows I'm vaguely thinking about ignoring a very fundamental piece of N2 canon - but I'm not quite sure why that in particular is a thing you're ignoring. I mean, feel free obviously, I'm just not sure why. (Though it would raise questions about n2 if it was Suddenly Always Canon.)
Oh, and one more thought - whatever the heck was up with Khan in N1. Personally I sorted that into 'actually he's also a psychic', but I'm guessing you didn't do the same from the golden eyes theory?

nexomon character: Hilda
Hilda! As the resident ghost type expert I sure hope I don't disappoint about the ghost lady
Hi, so.
Hilda is the 5th Overseer we see, Ivan, Remus, Ira, Khan, Hilda
Everyone in the ghost town seems scared of her because she turned them into ghosts (Recently, if reactions are to be trusted), and she kidnaps Deena and stuff but then she turns out to be- very nice
She turned people into ghosts to protect them, and such, and she helps you speak with Ulzar.
Hilda are- are we not gonna talk about the people who talked about your maze like they died in it? no? alright,
I really like her because she's very nice and yeah, wisps are bad, but she would have revented it if not for a certain psychic cat, or so I choose to believe
She does actually help both Blue/whoever and Sols, and I love her for it
Oh! She's also Khan's apprentice, might I add. Which is always neat, and I love how Khan and her stick together like how Eliza and her Kinda do for Bolzen.
In n2 she plays a role much later on and still maintains that "oh crap she's going to hurt me- oh nvm she's great" and I love her for it
(Also I wonder if part of the reason why Hilda had to die, other than killing psychics, is so that ghosts would stick around, who knows)
#Someone should make her a tyrant form#They say#fully knowing they'll do it at 3am#later#nexomon#nexomon spoilers#nexomon extinction#somewhat#tulip rambles#nayvwriter#answered ask#But yeah#Hilda's neat#Hilda nexomon#ask game#n1 chr ramble

"South by Southwest has discontinued its partnership with the US Army and the defense contractor RTX Corporation for its 2025 festival in response to concerns from numerous artists who withdrew from the 2024 event, the festival announced on Wednesday.
“After careful consideration, we are revising our sponsorship model,” the festival said in a statement on its website’s FAQ page. “As a result, the US army, and companies who engage in weapons manufacturing, will not be sponsors of SXSW 2025.”
The film, culture and tech festival, held each March in Austin, Texas, will also discontinue its partnership with Collins Aerospace, a subsidiary of weapons manufacturer RTX Corporation, formerly known as Raytheon.
Over 80 artists withdrew from the 2024 festival in support of Palestine after Israel’s invasion of Gaza, citing SXSW’s ties to the weapons manufacturer and its sponsorship by the US army.
The boycott was led by the Chicago-based songwriter Ella Williams, AKA Squirrel Flower, who published a statement on her Instagram. “These defense contractors make the weapons that the IDF uses to bomb Gaza. The IDF has now killed at least one in every 75 inhabitants of Gaza, [and] I refuse to be complicit in that,” she wrote. “I don’t believe that a music festival should include profiteers of war – I believe that art is a tool to create a better world and has no place alongside warmongers.”
The US army was listed as a “super sponsor” of the 2024 festival, and was slated to present more than nine events, while Collins Aerospace sponsored two events at SXSW Pitch, the festival’s tech showcase. RTX has supplied weapons to the Israeli government; on an earnings call in late October last year, its chairman and executive director, Greg Hayes, was quoted as saying the company stood to “benefit” from the increased Department of Defense budget due to Israel’s war in Gaza.
Shortly after Williams published her statement, other showcasing artists, including the Brooklyn-based emo band Proper, the Los Angeles-based indie band Mamalarky and the North Carolina-based singer-songwriter Eliza McLamb, followed suit. Mamalarky’s Noor Khan said it was a “really easy decision” to pull out of the festival, because “playing these two official shows could never bring us anything that matters more than the lives that are being lost in Palestine today”. "
#fucking insanity. fucking hellscape of the all privatized cultural system of the US... gotta beg for money from anyone. no ethical financing#may israel collapse soon and may zionists pay for their crimes against humanity#sxsw#south by southwest#usa#free palestine#palestine#israel#zionism#us military#bee tries to talk
