I really dislike the interpretation that Pixal didn't have emotions or wasn't alive before Zane "gave" her emotions or sentience. I think she was always alive and had feelings before she was given part of Zane's power source.

Here's some examples to showcase my point:

"I was curious to understand why you are so different." She's curious and wants to learn new things

"Oh, who cares about probability?!" She's a little snarky even when no one else is around

I believe Pixal was always alive. She only felt Iike her only purpose was too assist and that she did not deserve agency. Getting closer to Zane, a robot like her, and assurance from Cyrus Borg helped her realize that her feelings were real and that she belongs to no one

She still struggles with prioritizing helping others over her own needs, but I am talking about specifically her being sentient

Sure it's mysterious, but why would Zane's power source be the reason he or anyone is sentient? So many other nindroids and robots are sentient without it. Echo and Unigami to name a few

Zane used to also compete but then he got so focused on like idk university that he only does it as a hobby now. Him and Jay share some uni classes.

Nya keeps trying to get Pixal to join her team bc girls a giant but Pixal is honestly just as bad at skating as Kai is. She does not know how to break that to Nya

Skylor also skates for fun and she runs the uni café (Cole is her regular obviously)

Have yall considered Jaya ice hockey/figure skater au with obviously Nya being the ice hockey player and Jay being the figure skater

this is the first art from a series of my drawings with Pixal and Zane enlightened by the ballet The Nutcracker. I really love this aesthetics and unfortunately now in my city it is wildly hot and there is not a hint of snow, so this art gives me this winter atmosphere of magic
