This was so much fun, I love the Ice emperor and I love @spinchip's art so much - Whenever I see a new post I start to run in circles. /srs

Spinchip always gives me so much motivation for drawing just by existing. I swear that as soon as I'll be able to, I'll order some stuff from his etsy. (Sorry for being annoying I'm just VERY excited. XD)

Since I love Ice emperor/Zane so much, this was a great opportunity to draw him and maybe also win a price for it. Thank you again!!

This was actually surprisingly difficult (both because i had to figure out how to draw zane and because drawing any sort of armor is my archenemy) so this is why i am posting it now because if i don’t i will hurl my tablet out the window. But i had fun.

while working on this I realized it had been over two (2) whole years since I have drawn my boy so this was a super fun opportunity to update how I draw Zane in my current art style! one thing I definitely wanted to keep from my previous versions was his cool hexagon eyes :)

i was testing out a new semi-realistic art style on a different (also unfinished piece) so i tried it out on zane and HFSOFHSAFH

some notes to keep in mind: i did make a custom-ish outift, so this isn't exactly the reference nor the original ice emperor design. also i forgot he wears blue gloves so ignore that- also why does it look blurry at the face i thought i fixed that

AND OH MY GOD how the rendering for the pants came out and the chestplate

so yeah here's my piece :D
