My take on the new Warriors arc (Changing Skies)
Skyclan:
- Skyclan will start starving and start fighting amongst themselves
- Leafstar will become fully blind
- Leafstar will die
- Hawkwing becomes Hawkstar
- A Cool new deputy will be appointed in Skyclan (Violetshine isn't the coolest but she could maybe get more development post-Rootspring)
- Skyclan will finally get good (hoping Frecklewish becomes interesting again)
Shadowclan:
- Tawnypelt will defy Tigerheartstar and probably say something about morals being more important than Clan loyalty (echoing when she left Thunderclan)
- Tigerheartstar will lose a life to the Big Bad (probably some twoleg problem or another - ex. fire, tree falls)
- Tawnypelt will sacrifice herself
Thunderclan:
- Moonpaw will be training as a warrior
- She'll start hearing things and confide in Jayfeather, Alderheart, or her mentor
- Moonpaw will visit Starclan
- Someone will tell her that she's ~destined~
Riverclan:
- Riverclan will be trying to repair itself and will stay out of the drama
Windclan:
- Crowstar will happen at some point in this arc
- Breezepelt or Appleshine are likely deputy picks
Main plot:
(Not entirely specific timeline order, but I'll try)
- The Prophecy about the Moonpool is delivered by Shadowsight, worrying Tawnypelt
- The twolegs start construction and drive Skyclan to a great hunger and threatens to block the entrance to the Moonpool
- The Skyclan cats are divided, with some not trusting Leafstar's leadership as her vision - and sickness - gets worse
- Tawnypelt feels undervalued in her clan
- Moonpaw starts hearing voices
- Skyclan cats start hunting on Shadowclan territory behind Leafstar's back
- A gathering takes place, where Tigerheartstar accuses Leafstar of being incompetent, and Moonpaw collapses from "visions"
- Shadowsight either decides to mentor Moonpaw or says her "visions" are dangerous and she is not to be trusted
- Tigerheartstar turns the other Clans away
- Tawnypelt tries to convince him to take action with the other Clans, but he refuses
- Tawnypelt ventures to rally support from the other clans
- Squirrelstar is too new to leadership to lend a paw, Riverclan is still trying to get itself together, and Skyclan is a mess
- Crowfeather steps up for Tawnypelt, admiring her courage and determination
- The medicine cats, especially Jayfeather, Whistlepaw, and Frostpaw, will be uneasy after a long time without any visions or anything
- Moonpaw's "visions" get darker, hinting at the destruction of all the Clans and the fading of all of Starclan
- Leafstar joins Crowfeather and Tawnypelt on their mission, while Moonpaw separately seeks Starclan's guidance at the Moonpool
- Moonpaw gets trapped inside the cave with the Moonpool after a rockslide caused by twoleg construction, and she falls into the Moonpool
- Crowfeather, Tawnypelt, and Leafstar watch the rockslide and are fearful about the loss of connection
- Tensions rise between the Clans, with Shadowclan having a border dispute with Skyclan, and with Skyclan being left without a leader or any prey
- Moonpaw drowns and arrives in Starclan, where she is greeted by the regular cast (Bluestar, Yellowfang, Firestar), and the original leaders (Thunderstar, Windstar, Shadowstar, Riverstar, and Skystar) as well as Gray Wing
- The Starclan cats inform Moonpaw that the Clans must band together to find a new land once again
- Moonpaw doubts how she could be helpful, and Firestar assures her that she is the one
- Crowfeather and Tawnypelt help Leafstar as her sickness becomes more and more apparent
- Tawnypelt goes to Thunderclan and Crowfeather accompanies Leafstar to Skyclan
- Moonpaw reawakens on the edge of the Moonpool, still trapped but with a message
- Tawnypelt reasons with Squirrelstar and they stop fighting with Shadowclan
- Leafstar finally succumbs to her sickness after uniting Skyclan with Crowfeather's help
- Tawnypelt returns to Shadowclan with Squirrelstar and together they convince Tigerheartstar to work with the other clans
- Moonpaw escapes and finds Thunderclan, Skyclan and Shadowclan sharing territory as the twolegs build
- Hawkwing is unable to receive his nine lives, but acts in place of leader for Skyclan
- Moonpaw convinces the clans to all meet, and shares what she learned in Starclan
- Squirrelstar believes her completely, but Riverclan is hesitant as they just had issues with Starclan
- Crowfeather asks where they should go, and Ivypool steps up and says they should head toward *place* (whatever happens in her Super Edition is almost certain to introduce their next location)
- All the Clans agree when the twolegs get more aggressive with their building, and they head off on the journey
- Moonpaw starts getting visions again, this time of their new home
- Tawnypelt and Harestar both die protecting the Clans
- Crowfeather assumes the position as leader of Windclan, though unable to receive his nine lives
- Rootspring and/or Tree see the ghosts of Tawnypelt and Harestar at night before they jump up and join Silverpelt
- They arrive at the new territories and Moonpaw becomes a ghost cat (like Rock, so not dead-dead) and turns into the new connection to Starclan (Like how Rock is the connection to the Ancients and Stoneteller is the connection to the Tribe of Endless Hunting)
Now I know the Erin's would never kill all three protagonists in an arc, but this is the only way I see the books getting fresh new plot points while also keeping with everything they've announced. Plus, Tawnypelt is super old, Crowstar has been a long time coming, and Leafstar is not only widely hated but literally stated to be facing some sort of challenge with her vision. I think it's only logical that these three would die to make room for a new roster of interesting protagonists. As for Moonpaw... I don't like that she can be named "Moon"paw and have visions and have there also be a conflict with the Moonpool. Like, they could have called her ANYTHING else.. but they went with "Moon". I think it would be super interesting if she became a sort of immortal figurehead for Starclan. In all honesty, I'm not sure how this would work, but I think it would be super cool. Maybe she gets a Starclan form and can travel between the worlds? But only sparsely and she can only be seen by Tree and Rootspring + giving medicine cats visions & omens.
This was just a fun thought experiment for me - don't take anything I said too seriously, I just love to theorize (if you also like My Little Pony and want to read my theory of how Gen 4 and Gen 5 connect, I have a post on that here)

Barkleap (Warriors OC)
Tumblr media
(TW for mentions of kit death and implied abuse)
Back with another character design!
This is Barkleap, a pretty regular Pineclan warrior but also a dedicated mother. She was born to a single mom, Quillstrike, who basically just strolled into camp carrying a newborn kit. Her father is unknown and due to this, rumors used to spread. Some say it was some tom in the clan while others think he was a rogue, either way, Quillstrike stayed quiet. Barkkit's life was pretty much normal, nothing really of note happened until she was a warrior. She grew up alongside many other cats, most notably a kit named Snailkit. See, Snailkit was more or less sheltered by her parents, since she was being molded to become Pineclan's next leader. Regardless, Barkkit managed to get close to her and the two were close friends up until they earned their warrior names, Barkleap and Snailstep. The relationship took a downturn from there after Snailstep became deputy, which saddened Barkleap because she had a massive crush by that point. Life went on and Barkleap reluctantly took a tom named Brookstem as a mate. She had some feelings but it wasn't anywhere as intense as her feelings for Snailstep, more time passed and Barkleap eventually had her first litter with Brookstem, but it was a disaster. She almost died and two of her three kits were stillborn, the final one passed as a result of Barkleap not feeding her due to grief. Barkleap blamed herself for a long time and still does to a degree. Her relationship with Brookstem degraded, as he openly blamed her for their kits' deaths on top of being generally cruel to her. Moons pass and Barkleap starts to rebuild her relationship with Snailstep, now Snailstar. They catch up and Barkleap realizes that she still had feelings for the leader. Snailstar's encouragement helped Barkleap realize how bad her relationship was so she broke it off with Brookstem, but days after she found out she was expecting again. Her pregnancy was monitored greatly and she worked hard to keep herself healthy, and it worked out. She had two healthy kits, Quillkit and Burnetkit.
There's still alot that needs to be said but I'll leave it here. Snailstar belongs to a close friend of mine!

Let’s see what happened!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's a good thing you realize it that what you did was wrong and how Monaca truly manipulated all of you but I do want to ask...
Tumblr media
While in Towa City; I found some journal entries by all of you....
Tumblr media
Yeah... we figure we write down stuff when we die as kids and when we killed our parents; just to get it out of our system.
Tumblr media
*files the pages of the file and pushes it to Masaru* So if you can, can you explain this?
—————————————————————
Memoirs of Masaru Daimon
Uuuwhoaaa! My heart is pouuunding! Haha, I'm lookin' forward to it! Is the paradise ready yet? A world without a single Demon! I can say "weenie" and "poop" all I want! And no one's gonna tell me I'm gonna spoil my appetite by eating candy for dinner! Ahahahahaha!
For the sake of making the bestest possible paradise, I have to be the bestest leader! I'll lead everyone to victory!
That Useless Shitty Brat
I ordered my son to go buy alcohol. I even GAVE HIM THE MONEY. He comes back home EMPTYHANDED. He said something about not having ID or something, whatever. Who cares? I trained the boy. I made him go do it one more time, and he comes back with alcohol. The next day, the cops show up. Apparently the little shit STOLE IT! The brat HUMILIATED me. But I trained him good as soon as the cops left.
I hate my son's face when I'm teaching him a lesson. The smile he forces so that I'll stop hitting him creeps me out. He can't just cry or yell like a regular kid? Shit, I got myself a defective product.
It's my fault
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It's all my fault… It's my fault I don't know how to buy alcohol properly. It's my fault that I cough when you smoke. It's my fault, and that's why Dad gets mad at me.
I'm sorry for making you look like the bad guy. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm the one who's at fault and I'm sorry I made you look like the bad guy. Please don't throw me away. Please stay with me. Please keep being my dad.
Diary
No doubt about it, Monaca is the best! As expected of the Mage of the "Warriors of Hope," lead by me. Just trust in Monaca, and even "brainrinsing" is easy as pie! As long as they wear the "Monokuma Head," everyone's our ally!
If this keeps up, the paradise will be completed in no time! And when that happens, I'll bring peace to the entire world next! And then, when I'm leader of the whole world, I'll make sure there's no more pain and fear!
—————————————————————
Tumblr media
These were written by you except for the 'Useless Shitty Brat' which... I know it's personal but can you talk about your dad?
Tumblr media
Ye-Yeah... I can do that...
Tumblr media
My dad was a pretty bad person, Nagisa had told you all that all of us came from bad homes; we know Monaca had it the worse but it's not like we were any better.
Tumblr media
My dad's name was 'Hiroshi Daimon', all I knew is that he work for a moving company; he has this truck and he transport stuff around but I'm not sure what it was.
Tumblr media
I also notice you seem to hate alcohol and the smell of it; I guess your dad drinks a lot?
Tumblr media
Ye-Yeah... he tends to drink, smoke and become violent; often he would throw bottles at me and hit me if I'm too loud...
Tumblr media
I-Infact he often say a bunch of stuff too; like if you start to cry your a coward an-and he would bla-blame me for things... I-I just hated when he was drunk or smells like booze or when he smokes!
Tumblr media
That sounds awful, your dad seems pretty bad...
Tumblr media
Yeah... and the cops weren't much help either, I was stuck dealing with that for most of my life before Monaca suggested we kill ourselves.

Ah Blackfoot/star AU anon again! Last question for now I promise! But would Leafstar still be leader in this AU? I find the idea of Blackfoot giving up a position of leadership in order to allow a loner to become leader to be so compelling! Or does he ignore StarClan and put himself as leader instead? Or or does he make Sharpclaw leader? The two of them are a bit similar so maybe he sees a positive aspect of himself in Sharpclaw OR maybe he tries to avoid past mistakes and decides against it.
Sorry for all the asks 😅 Firestar's Quest used to be one of my favorite warriors books so along with the good idea, I'm double interested \(^o^)/
I love getting questions so no need to apologize! Firestar's Quest has a special place in my heart too - that and Bluestar's Prophecy were the only stand alone books I owned and I reread them so much because of it.
So right now I've been keeping the first leader of modern Skyclan vague because there are two ideas running around in my head and I haven't decided one way or the other so far. At the minute it's a tie between Blackfoot himself and Leafdapple. Sharpclaw is very important to the AU but does not become the first leader of Skyclan.
Either way he thankfully stays as Blackfoot for the rebuilding of Skyclan so Blackfoot's Quest fits as a name in both scenarios. I'll break down my thoughts under a read more!
Conflict between Leafdapple and Sharpclaw
Blackfoot is still having to chose a position of authority within Skyclan (either leader or his deputy) so in both instances he has to choose between the two. Leafdapple is focused on the collective while Sharpclaw is ambitious and longing for power of his own.
On a personal level he prefers Sharpclaw, Blackfoot can relate to him and his aggressive tendencies. He's strong, proud and thinks with his claws. He's everything a strong battle centric culture could hope for and would make a good leader for the clan. But Skyclan doesn't border other clans, who would they be battling? Blackfoot might worry about the threat of Thunderclan but Sharpclaw wouldn't. The odd loner? The whole clan is made of outsiders so would the force be necessary? So Sharpclaw is shown to have the potential to become the next Brokenstar or Tigerstar. When the connection is made Blackfoot despite his preference for him choses Leafdapple instead.
Leafdapple joins and becomes far more interested in how the day to day life of a clan works. She challenges his ideas and broader clan customs, asking why it's necessary. Blackfoot wrote her off on a first meeting but she later earned his respect over the constant butting of heads. She would be a good leader too, one that puts the welfare of the community above her own needs. It's not dissimilar to the way people would talk about Firestar at gatherings.
Now Leafdapple is far from Firestar and Sharpclaw is even further from being Tigerstar but they are the comparisons that Blackstar sees and breaks the trend he is accustomed to by choosing Leafdapple.
Sharpclaw's Role
So he may not be leader in my mind but he does get a large role - he takes Sandstorm's role in the original book to bounce off Blackfoot! Scratch would be the first outsider Blackfoot meets on the way to the gorge that he doesn't instantly overlook - like you say the two are similar enough to have respect, both positive and negative. They track down cats to join together and Blackfoot mentors Cherrypaw and Sharpclaw mentors Sparrowpaw.
Sharpclaw is different enough that I think they would be interesting to explore for a large portion of an AU but similar enough that they would be on good terms. Blackfoot has a low opinion of loners? Sharpclaw is one. Blackfoot is reflective post exile? Sharpclaw isn't, he's impulsive. Blackfoot believing in clan culture and religion unquestionably whilst Sharpclaw is only interested in the power and respect that leader or deputy could offer. The two of them travelling together and getting to know eachother, finding Skywatcher and Scratch doing a double take like this is the guy you've been looking for? This strange guy? - they would be a fun duo!
Now onto the two possible outcomes.
Route one: Blackfoot becomes Blackstar
He choses to take the mantle of leader having devoted himself fully to rebuilding Skyclan and makes Leafdapple his deputy. He prepares for his lives ceremony expecting to see the people important to his life back in the forest and is instead met with ancient Skyclan. He doesn't really gain the closure of what his ancestors think of him.
Skyclan Blackstar really shines later in the timeline instead, when they journey to the lake during the time of Darktail. The shock of a whole other clan appearing at the lake, rebuilt and lead by Blackstar whose legacy is of being Tigerclan's executioner. The brute force that supported Brokenstar and Tigerstar.
Route two: Leafdapple becomes Leafstar
Leafdapple ascends to leader and taking Sharpclaw as her deputy, Blackfoot accompanies her and Echosong to the ceremony like Firestar does in canon. He watches the ceremony unfold, a ceremony he thought he would have of his own but is content to watch on. While still crucially important to the clan, often joked as being the deputy's deputy, he gets to live as a regular warrior.
The choice to give up power in favor of a loner gaining lives just bookends his arc so well and reflects his growth. He starts trying with all his might to cling to the power he's entitled to. He doesn't convince people like Leopardstar can and instead bluntly demands the respect and power he is owed. Blackfoot ran Shadowclan in the Bloodclan battle and he is the strongest leader left in his clan - without him they'll fall apart. In contrast he struggles so much to rebuild Skyclan and by the time he has the chance to access the power he tried again and again to achieve he passes on it. Blackfoot doesn't feel the same entitlement to power, what he once wanted so badly he feels he isn't cut out for - he was always second in command but never a leader. So the torch is passed onto Leafstar knowing the clan is safe with her, just how back in the forest Shadowclan is safe with Russetstar.
In my opinion the Leafstar & Sharpclaw route wraps up better as a contained narrative following the structure of Firestar's Quest while the Blackstar & Leafdapple route has more interesting implications further into the timeline. Considering this AU isn't being written up now theres freedom to explore both avenues.
Honestly would love to hear other peoples opinions!

I have several ideas about how I would have written Starclan’s function in warriors and I MUST write them down I must express them. I have two different ideas, one in which I maintain the canon fact that Starclan cats can fade/be killed, and another in which I do away with the fading thing.
First, a few things I would want for Starclan regardless of whether or not the spirits can fade:
- All cats, regardless of the age they die at, are given a full warrior name. Kits or apprentices who die early are either named by their leaders at their vigil and carry that name to Starclan, or they’re named by Starclan spirits.
- After a leader dies, the -star suffix is removed and they return to using their warrior suffix as a Starclan spirit. Perhaps the -star suffix is given up right at the moment of death, or the -star suffix is given up after the leader ceremony of the succeeding leader to indicate an official transfer of leadership.
- The point behind everyone having a warrior name in Starclan as opposed to any of the “determined by status” suffixes (kit/apprentice/leader) is to further express that all cats are equal in Starclan. There aren’t any clan borders in Starclan’s hunting grounds, and neither should there be different ranks.
No Fading Starclan:
- Cats in No Fading Starclan are given otherworldly wisdom upon entering Starclan, regardless of the age of the cat. All of Starclan shares the same knowledge of the past/present/future.
- However, this knowledge takes a form such that Starclan aren’t able to express it to the living in clear and understandable ways, which is why they speak in riddles when delivering prophecies. Like Starclan is trying to translate some kind of language of the universe into meows and at most it does like a google translate quality.
- Individual Starclan cats each have a limited amount of spiritual/magical energy which they can use to interact with the living world. The longer the clans all exist, the more manpower Starclan has, which explains why their abilities from arc 1 to arc 4 grow from “clouding over the moon during gatherings” to “entering the living realm to fight a ghost battle.”
- Similarly, the Dark Forest spirits have their own kind of energy that grows the more cats they have in their realm. However, as a punishment for their sins, they don’t get their godly wisdom, and their ability to reach out to the living is a little foggy. They ARE, however, able to latch on to cats who have negative energy surrounding them, and will try to bring troubled souls into their ranks prior to their deaths so they can gain more energy when those cats DO die.
- In this AU, spirits can’t be killed, so the Starclan/Dark Forest battle ghost casualties (Tigerstar, Hawkfrost, Spottedleaf) will not have died. Instead, the buildup to the battle is the Dark Forest attempting to take power from Starclan by reaching out en masse to the troubled living cats with the end goal of “replacing” or at least being on par with Starclan in terms of power, in order to maybe fight their way into the good afterlife or continue reeking havoc as revenge on Starclan/the living. The battle itself is then the Dark Forest’s attempt to overthrow Starclan and gain control over the living clans to ensure they stay in power. Ivypool’s role of convincing her fellow Dark Forest trainees to fight for their clans/Starclan instead then takes away the power the Dark Forest had built up for itself, and having this rejection of the Dark Forest’s influence become a part of the clan’s history/culture keeps the Dark Forest from rising back up. Not to mention, the Dark Forest having used to much energy to manifest and do battle will have left them drained, especially after their defeat, and even if Dark Forest cats have the ability to replenish their individual powers somehow, it would take a long time to do it.
- Spottedleaf continues to exist, as previously mentioned, but as a general rule in every single one of my AUs she and Firestar aren’t romantically interested in one another at all. The only interest Spottedleaf would ever have had in Firestar was because the “Fire Alone Will Save Our Clan” prophecy was Her prophecy, she was the one to interpret it, and she felt responsible to see it through even after her death. When Firestar dies in the battle, Spottedleaf feels that her role in that prophecy is finally through and she just does regular Starclan cat things like climbing starry trees and eating ghost mice.
- In the case of the great battle, spirits who have manifested on the physical plane I think should still have the ability to kill the living, so the deaths in the great battle still happen just for the sake of being consistent with who’s alive in what arc.
- Also regarding the great battle, perhaps Tigerstar’s spirit can kill Firestar’s mortal form, gloat about it, but then Firestar’s spirit rises up and with his Starclan Spirit Powers he takes Tigerstar down. I just think that would have been cool.
Fading Starclan:
- In Fading Starclan, there are actually two levels of Starclan, but the living clans only KNOW about one. The living clans know Lower Starclan, the Starclan made up of recently dead/not-faded spirits who impart the prophecies onto the living. Lower Starclan are Also recipients of the prophecies they then translate to the clans, but they don’t fully understand them and believe these premonitions to be coming from some essence of the universe.
- In fact, the prophecies are first foretold by Upper Starclan, which is made up of the energies of the faded spirits. Upper Starclan spirits, since they’re faded, lack the identities they had in life and are more accurately interpreted as a hivemind. Like a God with a million faces. Upper Starclan are the ones who block the moon with clouds, control the weather, and do stuff like set fires in the living world to impart prophecy.
- Lower Starclan functions more like a transitional spiritual plane. It’s a place for the spirits to rest from their mortal lives, and then eventually shed their previous personalities and ascend. Lower Starclan being given the prophecies first to then give to the living gives the living cats more reason to listen, because these messages are coming from spirits who are still personable and likely cats who the living interpreters knew and respected in life.
- The Dark Forest is a place to hide away the spirits of cats who would impede on the goals of Upper Starclan. They eventually fade away too and are permitted into Upper Starclan because they’re no longer a threat without their mortal memories/personalities getting in the way of their roles as God(s).
- The Tribe of Endless Hunting’s spirits also fade away into Upper Starclan because the two groups have the same origin. Like Endless Hunting and Lower Starclan manifested because of the split in the groups and Upper Starclan just said “Okay We can work with this”
- True Reincarnations only occur when an Upper Starclan spirit returns to a mortal form. Jay’s Wing, Lion’s Roar, and Dove’s Wing’s spirits had all faded into Upper Starclan but were reborn as new mortals in order to fulfill the Power of Three Prophecy. This also explains why they have “the power of the stars”, they were part of the Cat God Collective prior. Cinderpelt/Cinderheart was a “reincarnation” that was NOT sanctioned by Upper Starclan, which is why Cinderpelt and Cinderheart have separate souls.
- The reason the Power of Three thing happened was because Upper Starclan saw their Dark Forest Timeout corner spirits being naughty and worried that those spirits weren’t as out of the way and not hurting their goals as previously presumed. The battle was orchestrated to reinstate faith in Starclan and have some of the more troublesome Dark Forest Spirits fade so they would stop causing trouble. Technically, Tigerstar, Brokenstar, and Hawkfrost are all part of Upper Starclan after the great battle, but none of them have those identities anymore, or at the very least, those identities are not “in use.”
- The only spirits that can walk in Both Upper and Lower Starclan are legendary/historical figures like the clan founders and probably other significant cats who have legends made of their life experiences.
- Goosefeather, by some mistake or intention(?) was granted a mental connection to Upper Starclan instead of just Lower Starclan like other medicine cats, which is why his visions were so intense and so far into the future, and just the sheer number of them. He could see Lower Starclan spirits as well like Beetail because I guess if you can connect to Upper Starclan than Lower Starclan is just a side effect.
- Spiresight and Shadowsight might also have this connection to Upper Starclan? Idk I can’t decide. Shadowsight did as a kit at least, but perhaps Upper Starclan decided to chill after seeing how poorly Goosefeather’s connection turned out for him.
- Upper Starclan’s concept otherwise is very vague. Their goals seem to be to ensure the continuation of the clans, which ensures their growth and power, but power for what reason? idk what to do with that
Since the Broken Code arc isn’t complete at this time I’m not sure what direction I wanna take for either Fading or Not Fading Starclan to explain Starclan’s disappearance or Ashfur’s ability to mess with other spirits... perhaps in the Fading version, Ashfur is the one Lower Starclan cat to discover Upper Starclan and figures out how to tap into his full spiritual ability before shedding his mortal personality and uses this to cause chaos. idk what to say for Not Fading rn tho

Hey guys! I've had a lot of ideas I wanna share with you that we're inspired by our lovely Battle Medic Breezepelt anon, @lesbiandicegoblin, and another lovely asker (who I tried to look for but could find) who made a gender neutral term for permanent nursery residents called Royalty! I made,,,,a bunch of other jobs/professions for warriors and medicine cats! Plus some unique jobs/subclasses for all the canon clans. Here they are, there's a lot!
Different roles in the clans!
Besides Leader, deputy, medcat, warriors, queens and elders! All cats old enough to serve their clan are considered warriors. Cats can also just simply be a warrior or a medicine cat with no subclass, or they can double up in professions if they so choose. However some subclasses cannot be doubled up (Seer) or are restricted to certain cats (Older cats cannot be Mediators, warriors cannot becomes Seers, Seers cannot become Royalty, etc)
Warrior subclasses found commonly in all clans are: Scouts, Hunters, Wardens, Builders, Lore keepers, Royalty and Mediators!
Scout: Cats who are very fast, usually the first cats out and about in the mornings to scout out hunting spots. Usually the cats who patrol the most and are often in back of battles in case they need to run to camp for reinforcements.
Hunter: Cats who specialize in the art of hunting, doesn't always mean hunting prey. Typically the cats who hunt the most and often work alongside Scouts when leaf-bare rolls around.
Warden: Camp defenders, often referred to as Stone Wardens in riverclan, these cats are typically large and powerful to defend their clanmates in the event of an invasion. Clans will usually have 2 to 4 Wardens, 2 for the camp entrance, 1 for the nursery and 1 for the elders.
Builders: Cats who are very clever and work with plant fibers and other building materials to keep up the dens of their camps. Often also the cats who end up cleaning the camp the most often, typically a job for older cats but many apprentices will also help and use the skills learned in creative ways.
Lorekeeper: The storytellers and historians of the clans. Often considered an elders job, cats of all ages will agree a good story is great for morale. Apart from telling stories these cats are also the keepers of their own personal clan history alongside general history of the clans. These cats are also in charge of teaching the young cats the basic clan history they need.
Royalty: Permanent Queens, Kings and the in betweens of the nursery, these cats are the parents of all the clan's inhabitants. Often another form of retirement for some warriors, the cats who choose to become Royalty over any other professional are revered and respected as the backbone of all clans. Royalty are in charge of the care and raising of any kits and their parents who reside in the nursery. They are also often retired or still active Wardens or Court Medics as well. (Made by Royalty anon, please let me know if you want proper credit I couldn't find you i apologize!)
Mediator: The peace keepers of the clans, these cats are the opposite of canon medicine cats. Picked from an early age as to prevent any biases from forming, Mediators are considered to be from all the clans. Mediators spend their apprenticeship bounced between all professions and all the clans so they have information and experience in all things. These cats are also the least bound by the warrior code, as they are loyal to the clans as a whole. These cats also tend to form half clan relationships and usually are half-clan themselves. Clans typically have 2 mediators at a time, the senior mediator and the apprentice, and the only time when there might be more than 2 is the overlap between a retired mediator and a newly appointed one.
Medicines cat subclasses commonly found in all clans are: Seer, Gardener, Battle Medic and Court Medic.
Seer: The medicine cat who has the strongest connection to StarClan, typically the senior medicine cat but not always. These cats are trained closest to the medicine cat code and usually trained away from camp and their clanmates to sever any familial bonds to stay completely unbiased. These cats have training for omen sightings and medical knowledge, but no training in fighting or hunting in order to stay 'pure' in the eyes of Starclan. Considered to be the only 'true' medicine cat and only subclass that can't be doubled up with other subclasses. (In reference to the GreenRose Au, these are the cats who receive the gift of the 'Spark' from Starclan.)
Gardener: either a regular warrior acting as an assistant or a medicine cat who tends to the art of herb gardening/gathering and the foraging of herbs! These cats can be anyone who takes to the art, or a medicine cat who simply enjoys it more so than their other options. Cats who help out a lot but don't participate in the art of gardening are called Helpful Paws or Healpaws depending on the clan.
Battle Medic: Medicine cats (or assistants) who serve the front lines of battles, often directly participating in the fight healing any injured clanmates or dragging away those who are too injured to continue fighting. These cats are trained in fighting and are only allowed to use this training self defense, of either themselves or their patients. Battle Medics are not allowed to attack other medics or any cat too obviously injured to be fighting. These cats are also called 'Grave Walkers' as they will usually prepare the passing rites of any cat who has fallen in battle, so their spirit can move on peacefully. Warriors who change their profession to medicine cat will usually become a Battle medic. (Idea made/inspired by battle medic!Breezepelt anon @lesbiandicegoblin)
Court Medic: Medicine cats (or assistants) who serve the cats in the nursery. Cats who are expecting or nursing kits will typically have one Royalty and one Court Medic looking after them and their children. These cats treat any of the nursery inhabitants, be it a parent, a kit or Royalty, and excel at the profession, often being as kind and nurturing as a parent themselves. Most cats who are Royalty are usually trained to also be a Court Medic, but may be referred to as either. If a court medic is also a warrior, they are only allowed to perform their Court Medic duties if they have finished their warrior duties for the day or if no other Court Medic is available.
Clan variants and unique subclasses by clan:
Thunderclan:
Brute: Cats who reveal in the art of battle, not as popular a profession as it once was. Slowly being reintroduced to Thunderclan but many cats tend to avoid it as they believed it to be cursed. The Thunderclan equivalent to Windclan's 'Strategist'.
Storm Chasers: A recently introduced job, these cats are trained in the tale tell signs of storms and are to warn their clanmates of potential flooding. Somewhat introduced by Stormfur of Riverclan during his brief stay in Thunderclan, hence the name, it was really only picked up after the first large flood after the battle with the Dark Forest. One of Thunderclan's first Storm Chasers was Briarlight, as she could feel the oncoming storms in her old injuries.
Windclan:
Strategist: Cats who excel in planning, whether it be battle, patrols or life in general. These cats are intelligent and quick thinking, often leading battle patrols from the back to bark out orders to the fighters. Common choices for deputies. The Windclan equivalent of Thunderclan's 'Brute'.
Tunnelers: An old Windclan profession brought back after the discovery of the tunnels underneath Windclan and Thunderclan territory. Mostly used for hunting and travel in harsh weather, Leaders and Mediators agree the tunnels couldn't be used for combat due unstable conditions and for most part that treaty has been upheld by Windclan. New tunnels are slow in the making due to having lost the profession for several seasons but cats are learning and discovering new ways to safely make more tunnels.
Shadowclan:
Moonlight Warrior/Night Stalkers: the Shadowclan equivalent to Skyclan's 'Daylight Warriors'. These are nearly nocturnal cats who serve their clan best at night, sometimes being rogues or kittypets who wish to be a part of the clan but not leave their housefolk behind. These cats have excellent night vision and simply feel all the more comfortable in the chill of night, often performing tasks that warriors or medicine cats couldn't accomplish during the day. Some of these cats will usually opt out of clan gatherings but it's not uncommon for those cats to guard camp while everyone else is away.
Spy/Ambusher: A Shadowclan subclass of scout, these cats are known for their stealth and trickery. They are the deadliest of Shadowclan's warriors and know how to keep a secret, there's no way of telling when a Shadowclan spy is telling the truth or not and thus they tend to be mistreated by cats both inside and outside their clan by sheer paranoia. Most are unbuffered but spies always confined in their leaders about what information and resources they've discovered.
Riverclan:
Bard/Poet: The Riverclan equivalent of Lorekeepers. Singers and songwriters, cats who can string together words that are as smooth as the lake at dawn. These cats are charming and love to spice up the history of the clans with a bit of song, most warriors of Riverclan are also bards or poets but the ones who excel at the profession are known across the clans.
Lake Watchers: Cats who keep an eye on the fish levels in the lake. These cats work alongside side warriors, hunting patrols and deputies to make sure the fish population in the lake never gets too low as to starve the clan. They also keep an eye on the Lake when it storms, they could be considered a Riverclan variation of Thunderclan's 'Storm Chasers'.
Skyclan:
Daylight Warrior/Dawn Walkers: The OG, the bringer of the Daylight Warriors. Typically a kittypet or rogue who wants to join the clan but not leave their housefolk behind. Also warriors who are more active during the day and less active at night. These warriors are unbuffered by the heat and blinding light of the day and are the most useful warriors during the hot summer months, and when they are the kittypet variety of this class they also have the advantage of another source of food as to not worry about any food storages.
Climbers: Cats who specialize in the climbing of trees and other vertical objects. These cats can leap great heights and distances with their powerful back legs, and it is the most common profession in skyclan. While most apprentices are taught the basics of climbing trees, these cats dedicate their lives to honing the craft. You can often spot these cats in trees keeping watch over the clan and their territory and hunting, they also use this method to ambush any intruders.
If you have a any question or are curious about any of them feel free to ask! I had fun coming up with these and I hope you all like them. They're free to use so if want to all you have to do is credit!

Honkai warriors AU
Part 5 ("Aka the best part!" "Shush you , let me do my thing." "Hmpf!")
Senti
Tumblr media
Lore:
Sentiencefeather is Pheonixfeathers twins sister. She is considered ("THE STRONGEST" "Shhhh!") One of the strongest warriors. And Certainly one of the most popular cats, especially among apprentices.
Mischievious, sweet and smug while inside camp and regular patrols, she messes with Pheonixfeather on a regular bases. Any type of slight or mild offence is met with very annoying pranks.
However in battle she goes crazy and causes more damage than the offending rival clans' patrol ("Hey!! I thought you would not say anything bad!?" "Senti. You do this in your normal world too, you know I cant stray to far from the original." "...But did you have to say it like that?" )
She ended up training in the dark forest, for what reasons is relatively unknown. Only Flamescionheart, Pheonixfeather and Silverwing (Bronya) know why.
However she does prove her loyalty in the great battle.
She was one of the group of cats looking for the Skyclan/Flameclan(Flamechasers lol)/Elysian Realm and knew where to go, since she was one of the few older cats from their former territory.
Aparently she and Pheonixfeather had been part of them, considering one of them that stayed in the gorge recognized her. ("Is it Kevin?" "Either Kevin or Su." "Aiyo, Why are you such an unreliable Author?" "Girl I-")
In the imposter leader arc, Sentiencefeather imidiently knew something was wrong when she saw the leader.
She is also saw the distant faded Starclan when wandering between life and death as she went investigating herself, seeing as the medecine cats weren't getting very far. She also found out before anyone that Starclan was blocked off the way it was.
However though she was never able to tell anyone anything because she was either interupted before telling anyone or decides to not say anything because she wasn't sure who she could trust.
Even though she never confirmed anything, it is often speculated that she has somekind of reality breaking power.
("You could add some more stuff to make me seem even cooler!" "Senti leave it, if I add more it'll make me look like a simp and it would become cringe.")

Rating Genshin character designs pt.1
I am by no means a professional character designer, hell I’m not even a professional artist (I’m self taught) but I just really wanna do this become Genshin Impact is home to some of my favourite character designs and some that I fucking hate. So let’s get into them
Jean
Tumblr media
I fucking hate it
Don’t get me wrong, I love Jean, she carries my fucking team and I’ve maxed out my friendship with her. She’s a great character and has a great presence in the story, I can see why a lot of characters respect her, and I really hope to see more of her.
But what the fuck is this design???
Basic blonde bitch face, I don’t even fucking know what’s going on with her outfit. I just really really really REALLY hate her tights. I don’t know why, but I have a vendetta against tights. Maybe it’s because I grew up in BC where girls consider tights to be fashionable, but I fucking hate tights. White tights especially since more often than not they’re transparent.
I don’t know what it is, but I just don’t vibe with the colour scheme, ya feel me? There’s a rule with character design that I learned, which is have one main colour, and then have a secondary colour, and then have other colours that support those two colours. Jean is like... I can’t tell is her main colour is white or blue. The colour placement is sort of all over the place.
Jean is just basic and it just doesn’t stand out when you compare her to the other characters. I just feel like she should look better than this, she’s the acting grandmaster of the knights for crying out loud, and yet she looks like a generic background character.
She looks like Saber from the Fate series, I feel like she’s just so plain and there wasn’t really anything put into her design. Her in game model looks a bit better but it’s still kinda ‘meh.’
Like what does this outfit tell you about the character? Nothing! She doesn’t look like a powerful figure, you can’t tell she’s gentle and graceful, it doesn’t tell you that she’s a leader or tells you about how she carries herself. All her design says is “Hi I’m disposable blonde with a sword no. 235″
With all of the negatives, I do have to say that her design does a good job of directing you to look at her face. The colar and the way her hair frames her face is great but then again, her face isn’t much to look at.
Kaeya
Tumblr media
Ok, we have so much to unpack here because I LOVE Kaeya’s design
I mean look at him! Right away you can tell what he’s like! He screams shady, flirty, and eccentric!
One qualm I do have is that he looks more like a pirate than a knight, with the fur, buckles, and details, but I guess that’s fine. At least he doesn’t look basic or forgettable. And the design is a bit confusing but even then it still tells you a lot about him.
The colour placement is smart and he looks very cohesive and put together, nothing looks out of place. Kaeya’s tanned skin contrasts the cooler values perfectly and I’m honestly sad that we don’t get to see him too much.
It’s really a shame Kaeya isn’t more important and that Mihoyo doesn’t promote him the way they do the other characters (Noelle, Diluc, Zhongli, Xiangling and Fischl) He’s even overlooked by the community which is kind of sad.
Real talk though he kind of reminds me of Sinbad from Magi. Maybe not the same level of himbo energy, but the whole shady, manipulative, womanizer that pretends to be good thing is there.
But yeah, Kaeya’s design is great and I love him so much plz give him more screen time-
Albedo
Tumblr media
They really did my boy dirty. Seriously, he looks so fucking fine in all of his art, but then you have his in game model and he looks all greasy and weird. Someone said that Albedo with the adult male model would have worked better and honestly I agree.
But anyways! Let’s talk design!
Albedo’s colour scheme is simple but works well together, he very much looks like someone who works in a lab with his long white coat, but other than that he looks like a swordsman. It works really well for him since he is a captain in the knights of favonious as well as an alchemist.
That’s all well and good, it tells you his occupation but it doesn’t really tell you about his personality. Like if I were to show you this guy without any context, you’d assume he’s kind and gentle soul. Which is kind of true (depends on who he’s interacting with) but we know Albedo to be analytical and sort of brisk and cold. Not cruel by any means, but he’s not very nice and gentle either.
Overall very nice, I like it a lot, I really wanna have a coat like that, 7/10 solid design.
Diluc
Tumblr media
It’s... it’s kinda meh. Is he hot? Absolutely he’s smoldering, but I just... I don’t know. You can tell that he’s rich and all of that since he’s sort of wearing a suit, but that’s it. I also really hate that they didn’t give him coattails, I think coattails would have carried this rich untouchable vibe better. The weird fur is just kind of tacky.
I feel like giving his outfit more red would help him immensely, I’m not digging the white, it’s just there. For no reason. I guess it helps to break up all the black, but giving him a red vest would have easily done the same thing while staying true to him. He has red on his gloves, why not put a bit more on his body?
I guess my point is more red accents would do him good. Diluc is recognizable, but it’s mostly thanks to his hair. If I gave him a different outfit with the same colours it wouldn’t really change much. He lacks things like like Kaeya’s details or Albedo’s coat that make him really memorable. You could have a character who looks different, but I think to be truly memorable it’s gotta sell the character and suit them.
Overall, his design is sort of overrated in my opinion.
Ningguang
Tumblr media
Ok ok queen alert I love her so much. Ningguang doesn’t just look hot her design sells her so well I love her.
You can tell that she’s ruch, elegant, and powerful. The white, gold and black just go so well together and the way it’s placed is just aaaaahhhhh she’s so pretty what the hell. I strive to make a character that looks this good.
I just have no idea what’s going on with her shorts. That’s like my only complaint. Just give her regular booty shorts? Like Beidou’s? You don’t need the diamonds, if you wanted them you could make it like a pattern.
But other than that she really looks like she rules a country. She’s just so pretty omg.
Design aside, Ningguang deserved to be a five star, she’s so strong like there’s a guy who’s Ningguang can so 29k per crystal with her ult. Ningguang has such a strong presence within the game compared to Kequing and Ganyu who are just sort of there. Ningguang is one of the few characters who get a 10/10 in performance, design, and character wise. I love her.
Beidou
Tumblr media
Another queen. I am so whipped for Beidou and Ningguang guys it’s not even funny-
Anyways I love Beidou so much, I love her dress her colour scheme, she’s just so cool. The black and red is consistent and well placed unlike SOME OTHER CHARACTER.
You can tell that she’s a pirate, that she’s a strong warrior and idk why but she just screams laid back lesbian aunt. Those are the vibes I get from her. I love her. You can’t tell in this image, but she has anchors on the back of her gloves and it’s a really nice touch that adds to her as a pirate.
The hairstyle, her outfit, the eye patch, Beidou is just iconic and so easy to recognize. I remember not knowing anything about Genshin impact but I saw some advertisements for it and Beidou’s design really stuck with me because I recognized her when I got her.
Another one of the few who get a 10/10 in all aspects. Love her, and I can’t wait to set sail for Inazuma with her.

Ways you said I love you prompt: Without needing to say the words
I couldn’t find this prompt on the list, but it was so beautiful the story started writing itself in my head. Thank you very much for asking ❤️
Ways you said I love you: Without needing to say the words.
Draco dreams of the forest. A forest, he supposes, but it feels like the forest.
In the dream, he’s holding a stone and looking at the ghostly figure of Harry Potter. In the dream, he’s crying. He can hear his parents calling out for him, he can hear, still, the echo of bombardas that he knows should have ended hours before.
He knows, in the dream, that things had gone the way he always knew they had to. He knows that he wishes they hadn’t. That, in the dream, he’s devastated.
That heartbreak follows him into daylight, drapes itself over him like a cloak. He feels it when he wakes, feels it as he walks the halls of the manor he commands, feels it as he’s told by his house elf that his father has called by floo and is waiting for him. He feels it as he hears him say, “the Potter boy was seen in Dorset three days ago. You know what to do if you find him.”
The heartbreak follows him all day, because he knows if he sees Harry Potter, he has to kill him. He knows that he will. And he mourns him already, the man he has never met, the man who is more legend than man, because he remembers himself standing in that forest. Because, in a dream, he knew him.
He also knows what’s expected of him, and he will follow through. Even if it kills him.
-
But this is not that kind of story.
-
What happened was this: the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord was born as the seventh month died.
And so, one fateful Halloween night, the man who called himself Lord Voldemort aimed his wand at that baby, after killing everyone standing on his way. He didn’t flinch or bat an eye, way past the point of hesitating before taking a life, even if it was the life of an innocent, wide-eyed one year old who stared at him with his arms outstretched, looking for comfort. He aimed his wand and said the words that would kill him.
The babe, defenseless, just sat there.
...but killing off a child would not be very PG-13 of us, would it, and so what happened was this: the little boy broke the Killing Curse as it slammed against him, turned it into endless fragments of green light, tendrils of black magic that floated up into the ceiling like dancing fingers, fading into nothing. Some of it slipped inside of him through his weeping little baby mouth, through his wide green eyes, through the jagged crack the impact put on his forehead, but most of it – gone.
And yes, the boy was nestled in a cocoon of protective magic strengthened by his parents’ sacrifice, but he was an actual baby, and a powerful curse slamming against him was certainly enough to knock him out, even if he did have a bit of a magical force field. He passed out. He did not die.
The man who called himself Lord Voldemort – perhaps not much of a man after all –  did not die that day, either, in any way, shape or form. There was no rebound to the spell. From his side of the wand, it appeared as if it had hit the boy and done what it was due.
He peered into the crib that held the unconscious baby and, being a Dark Lord and therefore not knowing the first thing about babies, assumed his work there was done. Satisfied, he turned on his heel and stormed down the stairs, ready to continue his pursuit of power, now unstoppable. That’s what he thought.
But the boy had not died, as we’ve established. What happened to him was this: a devastated young man in a flying motorcycle found him and, you know, like a regular person, thought to shake him around a bit before assuming he was dead. And the baby knew him, so he sighed with relief upon waking, lay against the man’s chest and fell back asleep clutching his battered jacket in his tiny fists.
When Hagrid came for the boy, Sirius insisted on accompanying him, and together they met Albus Dumbledore in Surrey. Yes, unfortunately that still happened.
We know how this story could have gone. But it is not how it went.
What happened was this: young Sirius Black now had an alibi. Even though the baby was still left in a terrible home with his terrible aunt and uncle, his godfather, a free man, visited him in the form of a dog – against Dumbledore’s orders, but, in young Sirius’ words, he did not give a shit – and taught him about magic all through his childhood. Harry Potter was a happy boy. He knew his stay in Privet Drive was momentary, he knew as soon as that man “Dumbledore” allowed it, his godfather would take him.
A few things changed, of course. This is not the story we knew. Let us try to break it to you… gently.
  1. Harry James Potter received the “you’re a wizard” talk at 4 years old, as soon as Sirius thought he’d be old enough to understand it.
  2. Sirius Black told him all about his parents as well. Showed him pictures and books and sometimes cried while he cradled Harry to sleep.
  3. Sirius Black, unbeknownst to Harry, once slipped into the Dursley’s bedroom at night, let them think he was a demon, and threatened to unleash hell’s wrath upon them if they weren’t nice to their nephew. It worked.
  4. Lord Voldemort didn’t die that Halloween night.
  5. Lord Voldemort continued his campaign for power and immortality.
  6. Lord Voldemort gained terrain over the Ministry, terrorized and devastated magical villages, established governors in each of them –  Death Eaters, all of them.
  7. Lord Voldemort directed a series of attacks against ministry facilities.
  8. On Christmas Eve, 1986, the Ministry fell. Millicent Bagnold was killed in her office, and Pius Thicknesse was appointed Minister in her place.
  9. Lord Voldemort gained full control of magical Britain.
  10. Albus Dumbledore visited when Harry turned 7 and told him the story of Tom Riddle, the man, and Voldemort, the monster. Harry was 7, and Dumbledore let him know he was a soldier. He let him know he was the most powerful wizard of all time, probably. He let him know he was their only hope. Harry was 7.
Everything was different.
Harry was whisked away from Privet Drive and taken to Grimmauld Place. He was 7, and his transformation into a warrior, a bringer of hope, began.
-
Harry Potter is, at 20 years old, a first priority criminal, wanted by a corrupt government for treason and criminal disloyalty.
The tips of his fingers hold more power than many wizarding folk see in their entire lives, charged with years of training, charged with light and dark magic, balanced inside of him like night and day. And what he does is this: he walks. There’s a member of the Resistance next to him, always, a different one each day as he walks through the country, feet calloused, refusing to apparate anywhere before he sees it all. He walks, passes villages in his search for horcruxes, and bestows small miracles upon those who need him.
He comes and goes, more legend than man. In places where governors reign wielding terror as their weapon, the people await him. His name is whispered in taverns, held close like a secret, like something precious, and when he appears, white hooded cloak shadowing his face, it’s as if rain poured after centuries of drought. He smells of dirt before a storm, of fresh grass, and every house welcomes him in secret in the middle of the night.
His hands brush over burning foreheads, over broken arms, through strands of hair, and his touch is curative. His words slide smooth like a balm over wounded souls, his message — we will win this, I will win this, worry not, fear not, for I will end this — the love everyone feels for him, deep in their hearts. He’s a stranger, but he’s not. In places where fear has become a living, breathing thing, villages where everyone cowers before their leaders, people bow down for their warrior, kiss his calloused hands, his scarred forehead, and what little they have they give him so he can continue his trip.
At night, after he has left, the air smells different, smells like him, like rain and lightning, and his message of love is whispered into the night with the certainty that he will free them, he will free them.
Harry Potter, the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord. The boy who lived, the man destined to become a savior.
At night, people come together in secret and say, “long live Harry Potter, savior of all.”
-
He’s just a boy, too.
He flies over Dorset, broom held tight between his legs as he makes his way to the Resistance’s refuge in East Devon. The hands that cured a man of blindness earlier, now push through a wooden door and find their way around the back of his godfather, who was up waiting for him. Desperate times, but that man always has a smile for Harry.
“News of civilization?” He asks then, holding him tight, letting him know it’s okay to share the burden of his responsibilities if only for a minute.
“Yes. A man knows of a man who bought the cup. We need to move to Wiltshire.”
That’s how he lives. Just a boy who happens to be a savior, who lives nowhere and everywhere, who knows his duty, who has trained his whole life to achieve it.
And Sirius goes with him. “We’ll hit the road tomorrow.”
-
When Harry Potter knocks on his door, Draco almost sicks up on the spot.
Piercing green eyes stare at him, ready for a fight. But Draco is smart. He knows Harry Potter has come looking for something. Draco reads the paper, talks to his father daily about the information they have on Potter at the Ministry. He wouldn’t come, unless he was looking for something.
Draco should kill him, should end this, win the Dark Lord’s favor.
But he dreamt of a forest, and of knowing this man who carries the wild in his eyes.
He lets him in.
-
Malfoy Manor is full of secrets. Harry coaxes them out of hiding, cradles them near his chest and learns about darkness by stumbling into it in every corner.
The cup calls for him from the heart of the house, and he finds it on the second day of his stay, unearths it from a coffin in the depths of the dungeons. He destroys it on the spot, unspools the layers of iron with the magic contained beneath his fingernails, and destroys it.
When he turns, Draco Malfoy is in the corner. The child of a Death Eater.
But Harry has been in many places, seen enough repentance to recognize it in downcast grey eyes. He lowers his cloak and walks to the child of a Death Eater, holds his head between his hands.
“You can tell me.”
“There’s more where that cup came from,” Draco mutters, as if Harry had forced it out of him. He could have, but he didn’t.
“Will you show me?” And he can tell this man whose beautiful face he holds between his fingertips knows little of gentleness, knows it because he sees him flinch at Harry’s uncomplicated love and soft words.
“I should turn you in.”
“Will you show me?”
Draco shows him.
-
He learns more from Harry Potter the first two weeks they spend together than he did in 7 years at Hogwarts.
In the mornings, he steps out the door to find Harry kneeling by the flower beds, and when he turns to Draco his smile is wide and gentle, “Look at this,” he says, and with a touch to their petals, he makes the buds shake off their stupor and bloom, nurses them back to health. “Every living thing is ready to thrive, if you ask nicely.”
In the evenings, when they share a meal by the fire, he can’t stop himself from thinking about his father. About the fact that he’s betraying him. And Harry knows, because he always knows. In the short time they’ve spent together, he’s always seemed to know.
“Once you’ve passed your own limit, punishing yourself for love, you will start hating yourself, Draco,” he tells him as if he could read his mind, and then reaches for his hands and plays with his fingers, traces an outline of vines and flowers along Draco’s arms with magic, with locks of pure, blue light. “And if you think you know what’s right, that’s what you should do.”
And it’s nothing Draco doesn’t know. He knows what’s right, knows the magic of Harry’s hands, knows his heaving chest after an evening looking through the libraries for clues of where he needs to go next, he knows his profile, has been staring at it for days, he knows what he feels after Harry kisses his hands and tells him he can join them if he wants, they have room for him, he has room for him.
He knows what’s right. Harry’s message of love, of life is what’s right. And he would walk through fire if Harry asked, but right now, he’s simply asking him to thrive, if he’s ready.
He’s ready.
-
“The locket is in Inverness,” Harry says. He can see Draco flinch, and he knows the reason. “We have a fortress there. Will you come with me?”
He knows the reason.
-
This is what it’s like, walking with him: there’s magic where Draco never thought to look before. In the eyes of a child, who feels hope for the first time, in the lips of a mother that kisses Harry’s hands and Draco’s forehead. There’s magic in Harry’s feet as they touch the ground and make flowers bloom around him, as he brings life to everything around him, offers tenderness and words of love in places where authoritarian brutality is the norm.
It’s this: walking into prisons at night and melting out the iron keeping innocents locked in. It’s colors seeping into grey, it’s Harry reaching into a tree and it producing a perfect, ripe apple to gift to him, it’s Harry pressing it to Draco’s lips with a smile and saying, “here, you’ve earned it.” It’s Draco biting into it and being certain of the fact that he loves this man, tasting it in the sweet, sweet juice after breaking the skin of the fruit.
He knows, now, that Harry is the legend he has always heard about. He’s infinite, raw power poured into the purest vessel it could find, he’s gentleness to his core, he’s magnetic and good. He makes it impossible not to love him.
And he knows, now, that Harry is also the boy everyone forgot used to hide underneath that cloak. That for all the life he brings everywhere he walks, there’s a solemnity he carries in his chest, the burden of hope heavy between his shoulder blades, crushing him even if he does not know.
Sirius comes and goes, joins them on their trip and disappears on recon missions, over and over. Once, when they’re alone, Draco tells him about it, says “he’s just a boy” and Sirius sighs because he knows what it’s like to love him, to love this boy who is both young and ancient, like Draco does, and can’t even assure him, because there’s many ways this could end, and only one of them, the least likely of them, lets them keep him.
So he gives Draco a stone.
-
It takes them a year. Harry makes his way through England and Scotland, brings hope and freedom to the people as he searches for the items he needs to destroy the Dark Lord.
Draco guides him into Hogwarts, hand in hand, the moment they know where to find the last one. As Harry destroys it, he sees Draco cry.
He hasn’t told him what Harry has always known, that the way this ends for him is in sacrifice, but he thinks Draco must suspect. So he holds him in his arms and smooths his hands through his hair and over his eyelids. “It’s almost over, my beloved. Now let him come to me.”
He makes himself sound more confident than he feels. For the first time, as he holds Draco close, he doubts his own faith, for entirely selfish reasons.
But he remembers his lessons, and he remembers Dumbledore, and the Order, and reminds himself that this is what he was born for.
“Let him come to me.”
-
Draco knows what Harry is going to do, and sees him try to hide it. He sees him fight, sees him help every single witch and wizard to cross paths with him, the way he always does.
And when they part ways in the midst of the battle later that night, when Draco sees his mother, he feels something shatter inside of him and knows it’s happening. So he runs.
-
“The boy who lived, come to die.”
“You think this ends with me, Tom, but it doesn’t. The people’s pain is more powerful than their fear, and they won’t be silent. Do not think they’ll be silent. From the other side, I will see them bring you down.”
And then a curse, finally doing what it was due all those years before.
-
He stands in the forest, a stone held tight between his fingers. He can hear his parents’ cries for him in the distance, running towards him, echoes of bombardas that should have stopped hours before. He stares at the ghostly figure of Harry Potter.
“Why?”
“This was the only way he would die. I know you don’t understand, Draco, but this was the only way.”
“But he’s not dead, he went back to the castle, he’s making everyone pick sides. Harry, it’s over, it’s over.”
-
Harry stands in Kings Cross.
He’s given a choice, and he thinks of the burden, thinks of what his life might look like now, what will be expected of him next.
He thinks of the boy with the grey eyes.
He makes his choice.
-
In the morning light, a hero is reborn. Draco tosses him a wand and runs to fight next to him. Where he always belonged.
Afterwards, when the withering body of a man who was a monster hits the ground, they walk into the Hall, hand in hand, covered in dust from head to toe. Harry touches every bloodstained forehead, every dead body, presses his forehead to them and whispers words in the ancient language of the magic that runs through his veins, through underground streams and every living, breathing thing.
Everywhere in the Hall, eyes begin to open, and look into a new world.
-
“The change is only starting,” Draco tells him, as they stand with their foreheads pressed together outside the castle.
“It has started, my beloved.”
He doesn’t say he loves him, but Draco has known from the beginning, hears the words in the spaces between, slowly, dripping from every pore of Harry’s skin.
“We should go away for a while, just… while the dust settles.” Harry doesn’t protest, but Draco sees it in his eyes, and so, he interrupts his thoughts with a soft press of cracked lips, rough to touch, tender to heart. When he pulls away, Harry’s smile is nearly blinding. “You deserve it, for once. Besides, I know of a place in Wiltshire where the flowers sing your name.”
“And you?”
“And I sing it, too. I sing it, my love.”

As a warning, this is going to be a looooong post! Not long after my last post, another rp server on discord I help run opened up and I was finally able to start using this man. Pantherheart is very soon to become Pantherstar and take over leading his clan, Boneclan. I should probably explain his world a bit before I jump into him, so let’s go! The world Pantherheart and his family live in is a dangerous one. Locating in Central America, living in the rainforest where humans have stopped clearing out trees due to finding Mayan ruins in the area, lies the territories of Wispclan, Boneclan, and Berryclan. Filled with predators no other clan must deal with (unless of course they’re in a similar setting lol), as well as the weather and floods that often come with living in this biome, life is harder here than anywhere else. The cats of these clans have been in this area since the Mayan times, having descended from cats who were kept by the ancient people and who stayed in the area after their people disappeared. The land here is divided into three territories, with the largest river in the area creating the border between Wispclan and the other two. Wispclan’s territory is arguably the safest and best, they very rarely ever have issues with food due to the number of prey animals living in the trees and in the temple they’ve made into their camp. Boneclan is the north-most territory on the other side of the river and is mostly mountainous towards the top of the territory with a desert created by deforestation the farther south in their lands you go. Due to the caves and the sheer number of bats in the area, they tend to be less affected by starvation, but there are times where bats are the only prey they can find. Berryclan has by far the worst territory and are farther south across the river border. Their territory is purely made up of desert caused by deforestation, though they do have an oasis on their territory where various berries grow which they use to dye their pelts. Berryclan is unique in that they dye their fur various colors and patterns and they don’t have a medicine cat! Instead, most cats after completeing their warrior training begin training under another cat in the clan and learn herbs, so anyone in the clan can help heal. These healing warriors are referred to as Zen Warriors and tend to hold much more respect than regular warriors in camp. Wispclan also has an extra role called Shamans who preform sacrifices to Spiritclan (their ancestors) from atop their temple home. Boneclan has Knights which are essentially Senior Warriors. Due to the nature of where they live, it’s not uncommon for cats to die early deaths, so any warrior that makes it to a certain age, performs an act of heroism, or has fought in at least 6 battles is elevated to the rank of Knight. Now that that’s out of the way, let me tell you a bit about Pantherheart! Pantherheart is a bit of a grump, but wasn’t always this way. From a kit to the day he got his warrior name, Pantherheart was as happy as any other young cat. He was excited to learn and play and just exist. It wasn’t until his first patrol as a warrior that he changed. Boneclan has always struggled with Howlers (howler monkeys) and he was put on a patrol with his now ex-mentor and a few others to see  just howbig the current troop on their territory was. Pantherheart was the only one to come back alive. Some of the younger, more aggressive male Howlers had spotted the patrol and attacked. Pantherheart was shoved under a fern by his mentor, his pelt helping hide him better, and had to watch the Howlers kill every single cat on his patrol. As soon as they were all dead, he had to carry all of them back to camp one by one after the Howlers grew bored and dropped the cats back to the ground below. After the mouring period for his mentor and friend, Pantherheart spoke to his leader about leading a patrol to drive the Howlers off their territory once and for all. It took about half the clan, the only cats left in camp being the elders, kits, queens, and apprentices, but they managed to drive them off without any casualties (that’s not to say no one was hurt, but no one died at least). Pantherheart was then made a Knight as this was seen as an act of heroism in saving the clan from the monsters who had claimed so many lives. Pantherheart’s family unfortunately has had many, many losses. He was the only kit to survive in his litter. His parents went on to try 3 more times, each time only coming out with 1 surviving kit. Whether they died in birth or due to an accident as a kit, despite being there for all 9 of his siblings births he has only had the privilege of watching 3 of them become warriors. So far he hasn’t had the opportunity to watch one of them become a Knight like him, but he believes it should be their own choice either way on if they accept the title or not. Of his parents, only his mother has accepted the title of Knight while his father declined when offered the promotion. This piece was made by Shiro46 on ArtFight!

This drawing took forever to complete, but I am pretty satisfied with how it turned out. The first version is one without shading and second is it the one with shading added. (The quality is better if you click on it.) I came up with the idea after rewatching the old Justice Ducks’s episode, as well as being imspired by DT17’s “Let’s get Dangerous!” special and listening to the classic Og teen Titans theme on repeat also sparked a lot of imagination. The only outfits I didn’t come up with are Lena’s, Boyd’s and Louie’s which already exist the show. I thought about each kids’s strengths and personalities when designing the other costumes as well what kind of powers/roles they would play and what kinda relationship they would have with their super mentors for this au.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
• First up we have everyone’s favorite sassy magical teen, Lena. Her magical girl type outfit is what used for her hero costume. I tried my best to get the colors right so I hope it looks good. Lena’s role on the team is The Magical Brawler, with her using magical energy blasts, as well as allusions and brute force to defeat her opponents. She also doesn’t have a hero name like the others and just goes by Lena. (This is mostly because her magic protects her secret identity or something.) She and Quiverwing are the snarkiest towards the villains, especially if their evil plans are really stupid.
• She acts as a cool older sister figure to other kids on the team and is one of the most proactive on the team, with her answer to fighting a villain usually being “let’s beat them up” which can sometimes land her into trouble if she’s not careful. She’s very protective of Webby and Her younger (adopted) sister, Violet. So word to the wise evil doers, do not under any circumstances attack/harm either girl or you will be in a world of agonizing magical pain.
• Being oldest on the team as well as one of the most pessimistic/emotionally guarded at times, she tends to be a little more jaded to the whole hero worship thing the other kids have going towards The Justice Ducks. Her mentor/teacher is technically Morgana Macawber. In the beginning she was very distrustful towards the older magic user due to the woman’s past actions as a villain, as well as Lena’s own hang up’s with Magica. However, She eventually warms up to the sorceress after she sees how while having questionable morals at times, is still a good person who genuinely cares about her and Vi as not only her students/sidekicks, but her surrogate kids as well. (Morgana definitely joins the ‘these aren’t technically my kids, but I’m adopting them. You can’t stop me club.’)
• After that, their relationship starts to get better, but Lena still has her more rebellious impulses which causes her to be a bit more difficult when interacting with her mentor. She will argue with her about things like “Seriously! Why should it matter if my magic is still ‘developing’?! I can totally handle my Own magic, thank you very much! Now let’s stop gabbing and take down this creep before he overruns the whole city!” (Stuff like that.)
• Let’s move on to Webby or as she’s better known in the crime fighting world, Gummi Gal! So, it was a little difficult to figure out what kinda hero she would be, but after i decided to go with combining her spy training with her gummi juice powers, from “From the confidential files from agent 22” everything else just clicked. (Please note that I’m vaguely familiar with original gummi bears, I’m going off of ducktales 17 interpretation of it so if I get anything wrong, that’s why.)
• First let’s talk about the costume. I wanted to give her something that showed her personality as both a trained combat and espionage expert, as well as a excitable sweet munchkin who loves glitter and friendship bracelets. I based the colors off her regular pallet and added the cherry red parts to allude back to the gummi berry juice. The costume is made from super rubbery stretchy protective material either invented by S.H.U.S.H, prier or Team science to keep our super adorable rubber ball of death safe from villains when her gummi powers wear off, while also giving her a boost in battle while trying to beat up said baddies. Her red bow is the same material as the outfit, I gave her a pink mask, cause that’s her favorite color (also I wanted her to have a different mask color from Gosalyn and Huey.) and her utility belt is filled with other gadgets as well extra vials of juice in cases of emergencies. Not to mentioned she finally got her own Action Cane and still has her trusty grappling hook if things get too crazy.
• Webby’s role in the team is definitely combative close ranged fighter and The Heart of The Team. She’s already a beast in hand to hand combat, but when she drinks her gummi berry juice, she becomes a unstoppable springy force of power and agility, that can really give the villains a headache. She’s the most encouraging and affectionate on team always giving her fellow teammates hugs or high fives whenever she can. Her biggest weakness has to be her willingness to trust people at their word, being a little naive to harsh truths of the world cause she wants to see the good in others. She’s a badass, but an idealistic at her core and just wants to make the world a more happier place.
• Webby’s hero mentor is the Moon’s greatest warrior, Penumbra. Penny is at first confused by Small Della’s odd abilities, but adapts pretty quickly. They train a lot together and Penny teaches the young earther tricks she picked up from living on the moon where the gravity is very different from earth. This helps Webby get better at controlling where she wants to bounce when using her powers. Penny is pretty protective of all of the small Dellas and will be pretty aggressive towards those who try to harm them.
• Huey was easy I just made him updated version of his Gizmoduck costume with more of an emphasis of protection and practicality. I decided to give him a mask underneath his visor, because I believe he would definitely wear it as an extra precaution so villains don’t figure out his secret identity. (Even though it’s pretty obvious who these kids are, if you’re any paying attention.) I added a magnetic electro pulse glove blaster (sorry if the science doesn’t make much sense.) as well as magnetic boots, so he can better stay on Boyd’s back in battle and flight. (I was mostly inspired by Hiro from big hero 6 for that.)
• He uses the blaster to send magnetic frequency waves at his enemies. He can also grab things from a distance as a nod to his safety first mindset. His role on the team is occasionally the leader (there’s a bit of conflict with that issue.) and most importantly the thing he prides himself on, The Strategist. He’s great at analyzing situations and coming up with strategies, but can still over think things to his detriment. He clashes the most with Louie on the team as he feels his brother isn’t taking his role very seriously and Gosalyn as she not the best team player. He still looks up to Gizmoduck as his mentor, which drives him to prove himself as a competent leader and crime fighter in his hero’s eyes. Finally his hero name I think would either be Pulse or Gizmokid. Mostly I’m leaning on Pulse, cause I think it distinguishes him from Giz and let’s him make a name for himself as a hero in his own right, not just stuck in someone else’s shadow. (Though the bad guys will probably just call him, Gizmobrat to spite him.)
• (With Boyd I had trouble with getting his coloring just right so if it looks off, that’s why.) Boyd is the technically the youngest on the team in both appearance and mentality. He’s a sweet precious totally real boy that everyone instantly loves...well almost everyone. Louie, is at first a little heistent to be around him, but knows what happened at Doofus’s party wasn’t his fault so doesn’t hold it against him. He’s one of the easiest to trick out of the whole team which makes prime target for scheming villains to mess with. However, don’t underestimate this little powerhouse or you’ll regret it. He’s closest with Huey, with him being the first real friend the little tyke has ever known. (Dr. Gearloose is more of a parental figure then anything.) They can often be seen coming up with plans or just having fun learning stuff together. His hero mentor is Gizmoduck as well, but he also quickly warms up to Gandra. (who may or not be a anti hero in this au.)
• Gosalyn’s/Quiverwing’s costume was little harder to figure out. I kept going back and forth from a modern vs classic look, until I finally settled on a compromise that felt right. I do wish I made the cape more like Darkwing’s and drew a more modern looking bow, but other then that I think it came out pretty good. Her logo I’m especially proud of. Her role on the team is definitely the sharp shooter archer and weapons expert. I like to think she’s kinda like what if Batgirl was a archer. She likes to come up new weapons and gadgets to use on the bad guys. She’s the second oldest after Lena, making her also an older sister figure to the younger kids. Her mentor is Darkwing Duck, she loves being his crime fighting partner, but wishes she get more chances to really show her stuff and not be babied all the time by her guardian. This causes her to be one of the first kids to disobey the adult heroes when they say to stay out of something. Like that will stop her.
• Dewey was the hardest when designing what kinda hero he would be. At first, I thought of giving him a magical legendary sword that could change forms depending on what was needed, sorta as a way to mirror Dewey’s creativity and ever changing interests. However, I also felt he shouldn’t need to be ‘chosen’ by something to be a hero, so now the sword is actually something that he had to have create himself, but it also happens to be a magical shape-shifting weapon?.... (honestly if anyone has any better ideas, please help me, I totally except suggestions.)
• I gave him a costume similar to his God of Dance/Champ Popular personas with a blue Darkwing inspired cape. (Admit it, Dewey you actually love the show!) I added some protective chest armor, also gave him a angel wings and stars motif. His hero name if haven’t already guessed is Daring Dew. His role on the team is kinda the wild card/funny guy as well as a lancer to the more focused sometimes leader, Pulse. If I had to give an example of his role then probably something similar to beast boy from Og teen Titans or The flash from the justice league. He’s usually the first one to try and lighten the mood when something goes wrong, but he has his moments of Insecurites that causes him to doubt himself.
• He’s unique case as he doesn’t really have a official heroic mentor and just kinds bounces around from person to person depending on the day. Not that anyone dislikes the kid, but because he just finds them all so cool that he can’t pick one. (Basically, you know how your favorite avenger changes every week, it’s kinda like that.) He gets along best with Darkwing though and is kinda like his unofficial second sidekick. However, he does love spending time training with The Duck Avenger. He does seem familiar though, he just doesn’t know how. Hymmm. I wonder why.......
• Violet was also a tough one. Do I go with tech based weaponry, superpowers, space themed or magic? Nonetheless, I decided to combine her junior woodchuck survival skills and her magical quick study abilities to make her sorta of Magical Green lantern with an alchemist twist. I wanted to give her own way to do magic without having to use Lena’s powers or Magica’s emulet as a crutch. Her book on her belt is an ancient spell book filled with mystical runes and incantations that she uses to create magical contructs like weapons to battle her opponents. I gave her a teal green cloak, (mostly cause I was inspired by OG raven Teen Titans) a teal mask to hide her identity, light teal gloves and a rune turquoise stone that help channel her own magical abilities when she using her spell book.
• For her hero name I kinda like Light Saber (Disney technically owns Star Wars, so they could use the name.) or Guidelight (kinda like play on her junior woodchuck guide book.)
• Violet is the supernatural expert and living encyclopedia of the team. Something tells me she would do extensive research on all the justice Ducks’s known villains and would keep record of all of the info she gathered on the subjects. I have a headcanon that after “Let’s Get Dangerous” happened in this universe she would watch hours upon of the old darkwing Duck show while taking notes to better understand the full extent of the fearsome four’s backgrounds and abilities. Morgana, like Lena is also her hero mentor. They get along pretty well. She loves learning new spells from older sorceress who is more then happy to help the other with her knowledge on the subject.
• finally last, but never least, Louie! First off I drew him in his simple green hoodie with a dress shirt and tie. (Kid is pretty lazy when it comes to heroic theatrics.) His role on the team is The schemer and self proclaimed, Young Justice Ducks manager. Louie doesn’t really go by any alias and doesn’t wear a mask, cause in his mind there’s not much of point since no one really take them seriously anyways. They’re the kiddie sidekicks club in a lot of people’s eyes, so they don’t get much media attention compared to their mentors.
• If he’s not ‘training’ with his mentor, Storkules, or just hanging out with his teammates, then he’s scamming villains out of their stolen loot or finding new ways to try and get the Young Justice Ducks name out there. He probably takes the whole being a hero thing the least seriously out of everyone on the team, mostly because the adults are always their to save the day and take all the fire, so why not focus on building a solid following and use their obscurity to their advantage against the villains. ( To be honest I really couldn’t figure out what kinda hero he would be. I think maybe later on he could regain his godly gold touch powers, though much more limited this time with them being on a timer of or something. If anyone has any better ideas for him, please send them my way)
Anyways, thanks for reading. Again, if you have any suggestions, questions or ideas please feel free to share them. See ya!

Trollhunters O.C's
Heroes
The Nobel Family
Skylar Clarice Nobel
Mother of Duksy and Dawna, Skylar Clarice Nobel is a high ranked aristocrat who takes the title of Dutchess. She is a magic user who has worked alongst side Merlin and studied under him to master her illusions when she was younger. She is very close with the Royal Family having grown up in the Royal Court. She gave birth to her twins before her "lover" died in the Gum-Gum war. It was rumored the mage was seeing a changeling (Strickler) but the rumors were silenced when her baby girls were borne human. Alone and feeling lost she falls for King Arthur wishing for his hand in marriage. After Gweniveres death they seem to be growing closer but Arthur is weary of magic. Skylar to appease him surpresses that part of herself and discourages her daughters from practicing any magic. A well intentioned mother who does her best but is often ignorant to her childs needs and wishes. She cares more for status than her families happiness and is often doing what Arthur asks rather than what her family needs.
Dusky Gracelynn Noble
Dusky is a bubbly teen who's a huge people pleaser. Like her mother she can create powerful illusions and uses these powers to do fun tricks to impress people at parties. She is a beloved princess in the Royal Court and all the other nobles love her. When Arthur banned magic she stopped practicing and simply used her charm to continue being the center of attention. She once had a good relationship with Dawn but over the years they grew apart. She knows she will not take the throne thanks to Dawn and resents her sister because of it. She spends her time partying with other nobles and taking any of Dawns possible suitors in spite. She just wants her older sister to notice her and act more normal like her and her mom but Dawns in another world.
Dawna Annabelle Walthomew Noble
Dawna is the secret child of Morgana Le Faye. After a mistake in her youth Morgana finds herself pregnant and alone, afraid of the scandal she decides to take a potion to speed up the pregnancy. She makes a deal with Merlin and he helps her hide the child. Skylar who was pregnant at the time believes she had twins rather than one child. Raised in the castle as a powerful magic user Dawn does not learn the truth of her origins for a long time. She grows up oblivious in the Royal Court and is Queen Gweniveres and King Arthur's favorite. Taught by Morgana and Merlin she has powerful magic that amazes her aunt Gwenivere. She is destined to be the next to the throne if Arthur and Gwenivere do not conceive and Morgana does not rule. Dawn however has other plans and often sneaks out into the woods to learn spells after Arthur bans magic. She wishes to be a magical knight that travels the world and wants nothing more than trolls and humans to get along.
Dawn after the fall of Camelot is badly injured and develops a memory problem. She is found and taken into the order as Strickler believes her magic could be useful. Strickler is not her father (though for a time he thought he might be as he had romantic affairs with Skylar) but he is her mentor in the Order and the closest thing she has to a father so he is recognized as such. She grows up with Nomura, Otto, and Strickler teaching her the ways of the Order and the Gum Gums.
Pyra
Penelope or Pyra is the daughter of a single father who's an ex veteran. He now works at an office cubicle while Pyra goes to school. A quirky kid with aspegers she has a high I.Q and enjoys the world of science. Her father doesn't understand her love for it but does his best to be supportive. Now attending a new school in a new town Pyra decides to explore and take the long way home. As she's walking through the woods she trips and slashes her leg on a rock before getting knocked out. This "rock" was a piece of HeartStone that breeched the surface. Now Penlope is connected to the Heatstone and has fire powers. As she struggles to understand what's happening to her she befriends the CreepSlayerz and together they try and find out what's really happening in Arcadia and how to control her powers.
Noble
Noble the Nifty is a Viking warrior. Daughter of the Tribes Leader she inherits the clan after her father dies from a troll in battle. Not letting grief and hatred consume her she knows the difference between Gum Gums and regular trolls. So she risks everything to make an alliance with the good trolls and together they drive back the Gum Gums and take back their land. She herself falls for a troll during battle (Kelpy) and eventually they wed shortly before she's killed.
Kelpy
Kelpy the Kindred is a Celtic troll who spends his time wandering Europe and exploring. He is a talented warrior but is lazy and after the death of his people he choses not to fight. His skills are renound as his people were talented warriors but he wants nothing to do with that life as it killed everyone he loved. When he meets Noble and Dawn along with the troll resistance he realizes he can't stand by and watch more people die. He joins the resistance and takes pleassure in hurting Gum Gums. He's weary of humans after what happened to his people but he learns to trust them and even falls in love with the feirce viking Nobel after Trinamir tells him he should confess.
Trinamir
Trinamir is a Kuberra troll who was taken from his home and inducted into the Gum Gum army. As soon as he was able he got rid of his armor, changed his Gum Gums marks, and ran away. He wishes to find somewhere peaceful where he can be safe and not have to be in this war. He however gets captured and is imprisoned for some time in Camelot just for being a troll. He was a philosopher who just wanted to avoid the war after he was freed but he realizes the wars bigger than himself when he sees humans and trolls fight together at Killahead. He becomes a master strategist in the coming years and a formidable opponent tracking the rest of the Gum Gums down. He is given the name Trinimir the True because he has always stayed true to himself and his beliefs.
Villains
Mother Rose
Mother Rose is a powerful witch who has made it her misison to discipline naughty children. She's an elemental mage who can create realistic illusions and control plants. Connected to all the gardens of the world she lures children in and tests them with tempting treats to eat or toys to take. If you take these toys or treats without permission you will slowly turn into a plant and be doomed to forever live in her garden as another one of her craefully tended to plants. For each child she takes she gains more power as she feeds off the emotions of the trapped children. However if your a good child and don't fall to temptation she is a sweet lady who can give you whatever you desire. Her test is harsh but it's rewards have helped many.
Delilah
Delilah is the daughter of Mother Rose. She's a shapeshifting mage who excels at casting illusions and fire/shadow magic. After an accident leaves her with amnesia she is confused for a polymorphous changeling and taken into the Order. A sadist like her mom Delilah enjoys pain and does many of the Orders dirtier jobs as it brings her pleasure. She meets Dawn in the Order and falls in love but is brutually beaten by Bular for trying to make a move on his mate. This furthers her already stewwing hatred for trolls and someday she hopes to run away with Dawn so the Order can no longer hurt either of them.
Changeling Sisters
Not much is known about this family other than their aristocratic changelings and very high up in the Order. They are "cousins" to Dawna but that's more for formality than aby blood relations. The sisters are considered direct descendents of Janus the Changeling and they each have each mastered an elemental power. Some talk of fowl play has been discussed about their parents sudden death but no such things have ben confirmed as those who spread rumors mysteriously die.
Emerald
Emerald is the oldest of the Crystal sisters. She has mastered Earth magic and is the patriarch of her family. She takes care of her sisters and manages all their finances and missions from the Order. She is the coldest and sternest out of all the sisters but she is not the cruelest. Rumors are she is a ploy morph and will take the form of another changeling to ruin their life when bored/angry/threatened but no such rumors have been confirmed. Some say she is envious of Dawn and wishes to kill her but no attempts have been made public.
Ruby
Ruby is the twin sister of Sapphire. She has mastered fire and is the most bubbly of the sisters. Her happiness however is out of sadistic glee and she's happiest when smashing someones head in. Sapphire is her rock and they are the closest of all the sisters. She has anger issues and her sisters often have to stop her from doing something impulsive or stupid. Her anger fuels her fire.
Sapphire
Saphire is Rubies twin sister. She controls water and ice while her sister controls fire. They are complete opposites but they love each other and get along fine depsite their different personalities. Sapphire is dead to emotion and only cares for her family. She does not often get mad but when she does she takes it out violently on whoever triggered it. She may be quiet but she's always listening waiting to strike.
Opal
Opal is terrifying. She may be the youngest in the family but her powers are the strongest and she is not afraid to use them. Master of air she often uses this ability to make peoples heads explode or choke them to death. She hates when people don't take her seriously because of her age and she makes sure to show off her powers so no one makes the mistake of thinking she is naive because she is young. She'll slit someone's throat before she'll shake their hand.

Stellar Novas/Stella Nova
Stellar is the hybrid child of a human and Akiridion. She was homeschooled for most of her life and raised by her two parents. Her mom taught her about her home world and their culture along with science and math while her dad taught her fun learning games and how to socialize. Her mother taught her to spar when she was young and it was a happy life. When Stellar was about twelve her mom found an old ship and her parents worked on fixing it. Her mom told her she was going to Akiridion-5 and would return to pick them up once she got a better ship. The ship exploded once in the atmosphere and Stellar and her father move for a change of pace. Astro decides being close to the enemy to watch them is better than hiding far away so he goes back to Arcadia Oaks where Area 49-B resides.
Villains
Celestial is Valas older sister. While Vala is a fighter she is a politician. Her hands are dirty with secrets while Valas are stained in blood. Raised as a proper noble she is one of Akiridion-5 strategists. She works with the King and Queen to keep the planet in Order and the military functioning. She wanted to marry Val Morando but grew jealous as her sister gained his affections. Distancing herself from her she becomes devastated when she goes missing. She blames the King and Queen for not searching hard enough for her sister and their lost friend. Because of this anger she helps plot a coup against them with Val Morando. She wants only vegance for her sister and to find her or her dead core.

In addition to being a former first-class cricketer, Imran Khan Niazi is also the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Currently serving as a Member of the National Assembly, he was born on 5th October 1952 in Lahore, Punjab.
Pakistan’s national team used him as an all-rounder between 1971 and 1992.
Just behind Garry Sobers as the best all-rounder in the history of the sport is this right-handed batsman.
He was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in 2010.
Background
In Lahore, imran Khan made his debut as a first-class cricketer at the age of sixteen. A few years before making it into the main team in 1970–71, he played for smaller teams based out of Lahore.
During 1973–1975, imran Khan played for the Blues Cricket team at Oxford.
In his county cricket career, he played medium-pace bowling for Worcestershire from 1971 to 1976.
Debut
On 3rd June 1971, he made his Test debut against England which ended in a stalemate as he failed to take a single wicket across both innings and scored just five runs.
Three years after making his debut in the ODI format, he played against the same opponents for the Prudential Trophy at Trent Bridge.
However, he finished his 10 overs with the third best economy of the match while failing to claim a single wicket.
Rise to Glory
The following year, he returned to Pakistan, where he has been an integral part of the national team since 1976–1977 after completing his education at Oxford and serving his tenure at Worcestershire. He played his initial Tests against the mighty teams of New Zealand and Australia.
Tony Greig subsequently signed him up for Kerry Packer’s World Series Cricket after the West Indian Series.
With a speed of 139.7 km/h, he finished as the fastest bowler in that tournament, which was the third-fastest ball.
A bowler with at least 50 wickets in a year had an average of 13.29 while playing nine tests in 1982. He got 62 wickets at that average, the lowest in Test history.
It took the all-rounder only 75 Tests to achieve the all-rounder’s triple of 300 Test wickets and 3000 Test runs, second fastest behind Ian Botham who reached the milestone 3 matches earlier.
Club Career
From 1975–1976, he played for Dawood Industries and between 1980–1981, he played for Pakistan International Airlines.
His time as a student in England saw him represent Oxford University, Sussex, and Worcestershire. As a member of Australia’s New South Wales team during the 1984–85 season, he also represented the United States.
Captaincy
Javed Miandad appointed him captain at the age of 30. His side won 14 tests and lost eight matches while he was their captain.
Over the course of his 139 ODIs as a captain, he lead his team to victory 77 times and lost 57.
It is suspected that the injury caused him to miss more than two years of the 1982 international season.
In the 1984–1985 season, he returned to basketball. He retired from International Cricket after failing to reach the 1987 World Cup before returning to the team in 1988.
He provided significant contributions with both the bat and the ball throughout the 1992 Cricket World Cup, as he took Pakistan to victory at the age of 39.
Imran’s Record in Numbers
The Wisden Cricketer of the Year award was given to him in 1983.
A cricketer among fifty-five inducted into the Hall of Fame of the International Cricket Council during its centennial celebration, he was one of fifty players.
Even in 1985, he was named Player of the Year by the Sussex Cricket Society.
Retirement
When Pakistan faced Sri Lanka in the series decider, he played his final test as a Pakistani.
After failing with the bat in his first two innings, he failed to bowl either innings. Pakistan eventually won the series by 3 wickets.
He is Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi (born October 5, 1952, Lahore, Pakistan), former cricketer, politician, and prime minister of Pakistan (2018 — ) for leading the Pakistani team to a Cricket World Cup victory in 1992 and then became interested in politics during the corruption scandal in Pakistan.
Early life and cricket career In addition to being educated at elite schools in Pakistan and the UK, Khan was born into an affluent Pashtun family in Lahore. In his family were several accomplished cricket players, including two elder cousins who served as Pakistani national team captains, Javed Burki and Majid Khan. He continued to play cricket at the University of Oxford even as he studied philosophy, politics, and economics. The first time Khalil Khan played for Pakistan’s national team was in 1971, but he did not become a regular member of the team until after he graduated from Oxford University in 1976.
imran Khan was named captain of Pakistan in 1982 due to his outstanding skills as a bowler and all-rounder in the early 1980s. Khan gained fame in Pakistan and England because of his athletic ability and good looks, and his appearances at London nightclubs provided entertainment for the British tabloid press. The 1992 World Cup was the greatest sporting accomplishment of Khan’s career, as he led Pakistan to its first World Cup championship. The year after he retired, he was regarded as one of the greatest cricket players in history.
imran Khan remained a prominent philanthropist after 1992. The young man had embraced Sufi mysticism and shed his playboy image after experiencing a religious awakening. Khan served as the primary fund-raiser for the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, a specialized cancer hospital in Lahore that opened in 1994. Khan’s mother died of cancer in 1985, and the hospital was named after her.
Entry into politics imran khan became an outspoken critic of government mismanagement and corruption in Pakistan after retiring from cricket. In 1996, he founded Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (Pakistan Justice Movement; PTI). Khan won only one seat in the 2002 elections, a seat he filled with less than 1 percent of the vote in the following year’s national elections. His party had received less than 1 percent in the election the following year, and it lost no seats in the National Assembly. Khan attributed his party’s low vote total to vote rigging. Khan was among a group of politicians who resigned from the National Assembly in October 2007 in protest of President George W. Bush. Currently, Pervez Musharraf is running for president. Musharraf, who had declared a state of emergency, briefly imprisoned Khan last November. For its part, the PTI opposed the state of emergency, which ended in mid-December, and boycotted the 2008 election to express its opposition to Musharraf’s government.
Although imran Khan’s populist positions found support, especially among young people, in spite of the PTI’s electoral struggles. Pakistan’s participation in the fight against militants near the Afghan border belied a lack of economic equality and corruption, which he opposed. In addition, he attacked Pakistan’s political and economic elites, accusing them of being Westernized and out of touch with Pakistan’s religious and cultural norms.
A list of Khan’s published works includes Warrior Race: A Journey Through the Land of the Tribal Pathans (1993) and Pakistan: A Personal History (2011).
Political ascent imran Khan and his party drew large crowds at their rallies in the months leading up to the early 2013 legislative elections and attracted the support of several leading politicians from Pakistan’s established parties. A 2012 opinion poll found that Khan was the most popular political figure in Pakistan, which is further evidence of Khan’s political rise.
Days before the 2013 legislative election, imran Khan fell from a stage at a campaign rally, causing injuries to his head and back. From his hospital bed, he addressed the nation hours later. Although the PTI won its highest numbers ever, it won only half as many seats as the Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PMLN) led by Nawaz Sharif. PML-N leader Khan accused them of rigging the polls. The opposition leader, along with other opposition figures, led four months of protests in late 2014 in order to bring Sharif to justice.
When the Panama Papers linked Sharif’s family to offshore holdings, suspicions of corruption were heightened. Later that year, Khan organized new protests but canceled them in response to the Supreme Court’s decision to open an investigation. He was forced to resign from office after his candidacy was disqualified by an investigation. Khan, meanwhile, was also discovered to have offshore holdings, but in a separate case, the Supreme Court did not disqualify him.
The following year, in July 2018, elections were held. Despite being attacked for too cozy relationships with the military, Khan ran on a platform of fighting corruption and poverty. Following PTI’s majority in the National Assembly, Khan was able to form a coalition with independents. On August 18, he was sworn in as prime minister.
Premiership
As prime minister, imran Khan faced a mounting balance of payments crisis. A key reason for the growth in the economy, imports, and debt commitments is the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).  CPEC News And Updates When the United States refused to provide Pakistan with $300 million in promised military aid just a few weeks after becoming prime minister, the crisis deteriorated rapidly. In a bid to use foreign assistance to help Pakistan’s macroeconomic situation, Khan eschewed a bailout by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). A dozen previous packages from the IMF had failed to solve the country’s macroeconomic problems. In the absence of favorable terms for foreign assistance from other countries, Pakistan requested financing from the IMF. The United States, China, and Saudi Arabia offered him foreign aid in return for investment.
In addition to courting foreign aid, Khan presided over several significant developments in Pakistan’s foreign relations. Both the country and the United States achieved a mutually beneficial understanding through negotiations with the other. In February 2019, India launched its first air campaign against Pakistan in over five decades after a suicide attack on Indian security personnel killed 40 Indian soldiers in Kashmir. An attack by one country raised concerns about a possible conflict with the other.
Pakistan has downplayed the impact of the incident and appears to have avoided escalating the situation. India again entered Pakistani airspace, leading to Pakistan downing two fighter jets and capturing a pilot, who was later returned to India. As a result of this incident, Khan passed legislation to establish international standards in Pakistan’s laws, made arrests, and shut down multiple religious schools.
Early in 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic worsened the economic situation of China. Khan was less eager to endorse a lockdown than some of his critics. In contrast, the opposition-controlled Sindh government imposed an immediate lockdown on the province in March. His government eventually instituted a nationwide lockdown in April and began limiting it to areas with high rates of infection in May.
Efforts by Khan to crack down on militants and keep close ties with the military continued to draw opposition. With a stated goal of increasing the independence of civilian governments from the military establishment, the major opposition parties formed a coalition in late 2020, called the People’s Democratic Movement (PDM). The PDM has called for Khan to “step down” in protests and rallies organized by it down.
Khan’s coalition partners narrowly survived a vote of confidence in his government in March 2021 after these parties boycotted it.

Following the death of his mother from cancer, he established Lahore’s first cancer hospital. By raising money for health and education projects, he is helping the underprivileged and deserving.
Childhood & Personal Life
Ikramullah Khan Niazi and Shaukat Khanam raised Imran Khan Niazi in a well-to-do Pashtun family in Lahore.
Following schools at Lahore’s English-medium Aitchison College, he went to Warwick, England, for higher studies at the Royal Grammar School.

Evil Rusty AU! (OR: That One Time When Firestar Tried to Conquer the Whole Dang Forest)
So remember the giant text wall I made that accidentally lavished Hollyleaf with love and praise? Well it’s time for another one!
So I was trying to come up with AU ideas and then I thought about that time Bluestar got really pissy with Rusty ‘cause he was like “well why don’t you guys all share???” and I realized that Bluestar didn’t really make any good points about the four clans being seperate and also constantly fighting and so I realized: huh, what if Rusty wasn’t convinced by angry shouting about territory?
This AU will be called the Evil Firestar AU, or the EFAU for short. It works with the idea that Firestar is more manipulative than his canon counterpart. They share the same desire to protect and help all cats, sure, but while canon!Firestar fit his ideals to match those of the Warrior Clans, EFAU!Firestar has different ideals, partially from his time as a kittypet where everybody could pretty much visit everybody else and eat everyone else’s food (provided that they didn’t go in the city) and partially because Bluestar doesn’t manage to convince him about that whole “sharing is bad” thing. EFAU!Firestar likes to think of himself as lawful good, and he does have good intentions, but he’s manipulative and has the kind of ambition that can fog up a moral compass.
So, there’ll be two different outcomes, depending on how shady Firestar is willing to get: Firestar wins and Firestar loses. But both have the same basic starting point and they only diverge at around Forest of Secrets. Whether he fails or succeeds is up to whether or not he realizes and confronts his manipulative behavior or willingly sinks further into it.
I’ll be covering the first three books here. The next post will (probably) be about books 4-6 and cover the Firestar loses timeline.
So, without further ado, let’s begin!
Into the WIld: Things go pretty much the same way the first three books go. For the most part, anyway. The first book does start off a little bit different. It is told from Spottedleaf’s perspective. She has a dream of a fire surrounding fourtrees. Shadowy monsters lurk outside the fire, but Spottedleaf sees that they dare not cross it, and that the clan cats don’t seem to be scared of the fire itself. She interprets this as “Fire will save the clans” or something and goes to talk to Bluestar, who’s like “yeah, seems legit”.
Later, Bluestar sees Rusty and is like “He looks like fire if you squint” and so she has Graypaw attack him. That chapter goes about the same, only when Rusty says “Why don’t you guys share?” Bluestar doesn’t convince him. He just... doesn’t see what the problem of merging clans would be. Surely they wouldn’t have to fight for survival every day if they were all one entity that wasn’t getting into constant border fights? But he knows better than to argue with her. Maybe she has a point that he just, didn’t see???
When he hears about how Redtail died in a battle with RiverClan he doubts Bluestar a little bit more. This respected, high-rnaking warrior was killed over a pile of rocks??? Seriously???? It’s a little ridiculous.
He’s also surprised by how small ThunderClan’s population is. The camp is easily big enough for several dozen cats, and there are only around ten? He asks Lionheart about it later, and Lionheart tells him about how ThunderClan has fallen on hard times, and how they lost cats in battles with the other clans and whatnot. Fireheart thinks “Well maybe if you guys unified instead of constantly FIGHTING. This wouldn’t be a problem!” But he holds his tongue. These clan cats are too set in their ways. They need to be convinced, and a measly little apprentice can’t do that. But maybe a deputy, like Lionheart, could...
When he’s introduced to the idea of StarClan, it gets even worse. These cats have the same ancestors who they worship in the same way. Why are they seperate? What is the difference between the four clans?
He spends some time with the elders. He brings them food and cleans their bedding and listens to their stories. He wants to learn about the clans. Their similarities, their differences. He wants them to tell him that Bluestar was right and give good reasons as to why. But they don’t tell him anything that manages to change his mind. In fact, their stories of the four clans inadvertently convince him of his own opinion even more: the clans are the same, and this seperation only harms them.
He trains and befriends Graystripe and Ravenpaw and everything is going well. And then he meets Yellowfang.
He attacks her at first, only to realize that she’s a starving old lady and not a threat at all. He brings her food and barrages her with questions. She doesn’t tell him much, except that she’s from ShadowClan. This makes Firepaw ask even more questions. It’s his first encounter with a cat from another clan and he is so curious.
Although taking care of Yellowfang is his punishment for feeding an enemy warrior and eating before bringing food back to his clanmates, he enjoys her company. She reminds him a little of the elders in ThunderClan, although he’s careful not to tell her that. Firepaw also sees that cats from ShadowClan can be just like cats from ThunderClan, and it feeds his clan unification idea.
After that, things go the way they do in the books. ShadowClan attacks, Ravenpaw tells Firepaw and Graypaw the truth about Tigerclaw, Operation: Recue Ravenpaw goes off without a hitch, the kits are stolen, and Brokenstar is defeated.
Seeing the differences between Brokenstar and Bluestar gives Firepaw a newfound respect for Bluestar, but it doesn’t stop him from holding onto his idea for clan unification, especially when he sees the ShadowClan cats working so well with the ThunderClan cats to drive off Brokenstar.
Firepaw and Graypaw become Fireheart and Graystripe. On the night of the vigil, a plan forms in Fireheart’s mind. It isn’t terribly detailed, and for now he views it as a wishful fantasy rather than as an actual possibility, but the seeds have been planted.
A young ex-kittypet turned warrior can’t convince four whole clans to change their entire way of life, but with the right moves, maybe a leader could.
Fireheart vows to himself, then and there, that he willbecome Fireheart, and he will unite the clans as one under his rule.
Fire and Ice: This book stays mostly the same. Fireheart and Graystripe go and collect WindClan. Fireheart befriends Onewhisker, sure, but he also chats with as many WindClan cats as possible. His reasoning for this is threefold (although he’s only really aware of the first two reasons):
1. He needs allies for his plan.
2. He is DEATHLY curious about WindClan. He wants to know as much as possible about all the clans and this is the perfect opportunity to learn about WindClan’s traditions and cultures and beliefs. He’s dissappointed to learn how similar WindClan is to ThunderClan. He tells himself that it’s just because he wanted to learn something cool and new instead of just realizing that WindClan was just another ThunderClan but, like, fast, but...
3. A small part of Fireheart really, really wants to believe that the clans have such different cultures that they could never combine. He knows that his plan will be difficult. That he might lose. That he might have to make sacrifices, or even sacrifice other cats (he finds that particular idea disgusting, but if he has no other choice, if he has no other way to save the four clans... he hopes it doesn’t come to that). Fireheart also respects Bluestar, likes Bluestar. She’s a good leader, noble and brave. He’s not sure that he could ever be that good at leading a single clan, let alone ThunderClan. If WindClan isn’t like ThunderClan, if the two are so dissimilar that they could never be combined, then he doesn’t have to go through with the plan. He could just let things be. Become a regular ThunderClan warrior, maybe take a mate, maybe have kits, when he’s older.
When RiverClan attacks them on the way back, Fireheart is confused and angry. They weren’t invading or hunting on RiverClan land, they were just taking WindClan home. Whiteclaw’s death just makes it worse. Cats were injured, a cat died, and because what? Because of stupid borders? Because of rules that weren’t being violated and wouldn’t even be neccessary if the clans teamed up???? It’s ridiculous!
But he does get a new apprentice. This is excellent news. He can perhaps teach her that the clans would be better as one than as four. Plus, becoming a mentor is a sign that Bluestar likes and respects him. It’s also a requirement for a deputy. He needs this if he ever wants to put his plan into motion. It’s vital.
He tries to train her as best he can, showing her around the territory and teaching her how to hunt and fight. Cinderpaw is eager to learn and picks up skills quickly. He talks to her about the other clans sometimes, telling her as much as he can get away with. He talks about how they’re “just like us, really” and how “we worship the same ancestors and go to the same place when we die” and Cinderpaw starts to feel and show more empathy for the other clans. He’s winning her over.
And then Graystripe meets Silverstream.
Fireheart doesn’t approve of their relationship, sure. But Graystripe is his friend, and Silverstream seems nice enough. He knows what would happen if they were discovered and that is what angers him. These two cats just want to be together, but because the clans HaVE tO Be SEpErATe they could both be punished for it. It’s another arguement in favor of clan unification. No such thing as divided loyalties if there aren’t any divides.
Fireheart doesn’t want his friend to get in trouble, but he doesn’t want to stop him, either. He sees this for what it could be: an opportunity. Their relationship forges a connection between RiverClan and ThunderClan. Silverstream is the daughter of Crookedstar, so of course she has influence in RiverClan. If they have any kits, those kits could be the bridge to unite ThunderClan with RiverClan.
And so he covers for Graystripe. He trains Brakenpaw for him, makes excuses for Graystripe’s absence, even helps him sneak out of camp. He briefly speaks with Silverstream, telling her that he doesn’t want them to get in trouble, so even though he doesn’t 100% support their relationship, he’ll do his best to help them. He then proceeds to ask her 50 billion questions about RiverClan culture. Silverstream and Graystripe are both a little confused. Silverstream is also annoyed and a little worried. She isn’t sure whether or not Fireheart is aware of his manipulative tendancies, but either way she doesn’t like them, even though she has no clue what (if anything) his larger goal is here. Graystripe has no idea what the problem is. Fireheart is his best friend! He’s just being a supportive wingman. Surely.
Cinderheart gets into her accident. It upsets Fireheart greatly. He did genuinly care about her and seeing her so hurt makes him feel awful. He should’ve done more to stop her from going...
Fireheart is meeting with Princess. He likes talking to her about his issues, and a little bit about his plan. He knows that she’s the only cat who will really listen to him and agree with them. It’s his only respite from the stress of covering for Graystripe, dealing with one apprentice who isn’t even his and coping with the injury of his own, and worrying about how to tell Bluestar about Tigerclaw’s guilt.
Sandpaw is kinda into him and Fireheart has no freakin’ clue.
When Princess tells Fireheart that Cinderheart’s accident might have been a trap laid by Tigerclaw and intended for Bluestar, Fireheart is furious. She has to talk him down from immediately running after Tigerclaw to kill him. Fireheart asks what he should do about this once he’s calmed down, and Princess tells him to keep an eye on Tigerclaw. He can’t bring this up to Bluestar without proof, and most of what he has is circumstantial and not enough to prove that Tigerclaw is a criminal (Ravenpaw saw him murder Redtail, sure, but everybody believes that Ravenpaw is dead and telling somebody that ‘my friend who is totally dead now btw said that the highly respected deputy that everybody who isn’t me and my friend trusts killed that guy who was deputy way back when. He was the only witness.’ It’s not as solid to the clan as it needs to be, y’know?). Fireheart needs to make sure that a trap like this isn’t laid again, for starters. To get the evidence that he needs and to protect his clanmates, he should spy. Listen in on their conversations Tigerclaw and his friend’s conversations, spend more time with them (volunteering to go on patrols that just happen to have Darkstripe or Longtail on them, etc.).
Minus the spying, the rest of books two and three go pretty much the same. Firestar can never collect enough evidence (because nobody just says ‘so about that guy, Redtail, who I very much murdered’ casually or out of the blue, even to their friends). Cloudkit is also taken in.
Book three opens with Firestar being frustrated by his lack of progress with the spying.
He tries to investigate other avenues talks to both Ravenpaw and Mistyfoot about the battle where Oakheart was killed.
When he and Graystripe save Mistyfoot’s kits, they’re accused of trying to steal them and are taken back to RiverClan’s camp. Fireheart makes a coment under his breath about how “if all the clans were united, this wouldn’t be happening.” Graystripe shoots him a funny look but decides not to comment.
Firestar is pissed about being accused of trying to steal kits, but he sees the situation that RiverClan is in and decides that he wants to help him.
He’s shocked and worried when he hears that Silverstream is expecting Graystripe’s kits, but part of him is also happy. Not just for his friend, but also for himself. This will make it easier for him to sway Graystripe, Silverstream, and the future kits, to his side. He wonders briefly if he’s being shitty and manipulative but decides that it doesn’t matter.
Things progress pretty much the same from here on out.
Silverstream dies when she has Featherkit and Stormkit. Graystripe is distraught. Fireheart is also very upset, but also wonders if he can use this to his advantage. Here is where a slight divergence happens. On the Fireheart/star succeeds track, he tells that voice to shut up and ignores it. His friend’s lover just died, that’s an awful thing to think. It makes him wonder if his actions are as good as his intentions and plants a seed in his mind. That seed will eventually force him to confront his shitty behavior and try to be better. On the way back to camp, Fireheart does his best to comfort Graystripe and make sure that Tigerclaw doesn’t get a chance to so much as speak to him. On the Fireheart/star fails path, he listens to it. He comforts Graystripe, sure, but he also makes sure to mention how maybe things would be better if the clans were all one. He’s sneaky about it, so Graystripe doesn’t think too much about it until that night in the nursery (he is gonna stay with his kits and that is final), where he wonders about how different thing would have been if Bluestar was in charge of all the clans...
Things go mostly the same way that the books did. Longtail saves Fireheart from drowning, Cinderpaw becomes a medicine cat apprentice, the ShadowClan and WindClan attack ThunderClan because they learn that ThunderClan is harboring Brokenstar (yes I know that this happened before Silverstream died shush.)
When the rogues attack ThunderClan camp, Fireheart defends Bluestar from Tigerheart. When the battle is over, Fireheart tells the clan that Tigerclaw tried to kill Bluestar and reveals what really happened to Redtail. Tigerclaw is exiled and none of his friends go with him.
Fireheart is named deputy and Graystripe goes to RiverClan with his kits.
Here we have another divergence. When Cinderpaw takes the Magpie to Bluestar that turns out to be crowfood, Fireheart sees it. He believes it to be an omen from StarClan that Bluestar’s leadership will rot. On the Fireheart succeeds track, this makes him feel really crap, and he decides that he’ll do his absolute best as deputy to help and support her when she needs it. On the Fireheart fails track he sees it and goes "Well, guess that that technically makes me the leader then, huh? Bad news for Bluestar, I guess, but it’s good news for the mission. It’s good news for me.“
Next time!: I wanna expand on that atheist Firestar AU I mentioned awhile back, so you can expect that eventually.
Next time on EFAU: It’s the Firestar fails arc! If you thought that this AU stuck too closely to the events of the books for this to be much of an AU, don’t worry. Things are about to get a lot more interesting (hopefully). Ever wondered what would happen if Firestar was more willing to ignore Bluestar? If he discovered the dogs at Snakerocks? If he teamed up with BloodClan instead of TigerClaw? You’ll find out! Eventually. Hopefully. These take a really long time to make so if I were you I wouldn’t hold your breath.

#15: 幕末降臨伝ONI / Bakumatsu Kourinden ONI
Tumblr media
Bakumatsu Kourinden ONI is a direct sequel to Kishin Kourinden ONI, released around 2 years after the latter. Bakumatsu is an upgrade to its predecessor in many respects, and is definitely the stronger game of the two, but some baffling design decisions are present, including ones it shares its with predecessor. Set in the Bakumatsu period of Japan, an era where the shogun's influence over the rulings of the country would come to an end, we play as a group of monster-hunters working for the Shadow Shinsengumi - a secret police dedicated to protecting the country from all sorts of beasties. Our main man is Yamatomaru - originally from a small village, he would attract the Shinsengumi's attention after saving some of the village children from winding up as monster-food. Brash, foul-mouthed, and good-hearted, he is essence of a typical shounen-style hero.
Tumblr media
After being soundly defeated by a monster seeking revenge for his slain friend in his hometown, our hero is saved by the enigmatic Jurouta, who invites the young boy into the shogun's service, stating that he has the proper qualities of a monster hunter. Initially reluctant, Yamatomaru, determined to become a strong warrior like his deceased father, meets up with the handsome man and accepts the offer. As more and more monster related incidents occur. it becomes clear that certain hot-spots of spiritual energy, what the came calls "spirit pits", are going haywire, giving rise to all sorts of calamities within Japan. Furthermore, a mysterious foreigner with dubious intentions, Riche, is also seeking out the spirit pits, and is willing to do anything to obtain control of them.
Tumblr media
Our heroic twosome is soon blessed with the addition of the Saigami siblings: Natsume and Touya. The Saigami clan is reknowned for their spiritual prowess - including the ability to seal away the raging pits. Natsume is deeply insecure in her own power, however, and for the first half of the game, the party heavily leans on Touya to do what is needed. We are later in the game joined by Squanto - the former leader of a ruined nation due to Riche's machinations. A man of few words, he is a solid tank of a character, dedicated to defeating the colonizers that ruined his way of life.
Tumblr media
As charming as this cast is, I felt that, outside of their initial introductions, the game doesn't bother to develop the cast much. Yamatomaru begins the game as a hot-headed himbo, and shows little growth throughout the story. Jurouta is the same, save for the revelation that he is actually a she, causing Natsume to question her tastes when it comes to her love-life, as she is enamored with the stoic warrior. Touya is the typical over-protective brother to a T, but subverts this trope at the same time in an interesting way: instead of coddling his sister whenever she expresses insecurity about her abilities, he empowers her. He encourages her. It's very progressive, especially for a game of this age.
Tumblr media
As one can see, the scope of Bakumatsu is much larger than the previous game, and overall, has a much darker tone. The story, at times, is relentlessly tragic: in one instance, you are forced to battle a former colleague of the Shadow Shinsengumi after he willingly transforms himself into a monster in order to prove himself - in another, you watch helplessly as an entire civilization is genocided off-screen. While Kishin wasn't afraid to showcase the occasional tragedy, it never goes as far as Bakumatsu. This is a dramatic game, and I commend the writers for going where others would not.
Tumblr media
The narrative is focused: unlike the vignette-heavy style of Kishin, Bakumatsu is fast-paced and dynamic - allegiances shift at a breakneck pace, and as soon as one threat is vanquished, another rises to take its place. It feels exciting to play. The dungeons are, for the most part, short and snappy. I remember the dungeons in Kishin being an absolute chore at times, as the game would frequently chain multiple locations together with little plot to entice the player to continue on. While Bakumatsu does feature the occasional marathon sequence, the player is always provided with plenty of cut-scenes and opportunities to save and recover.
Tumblr media
That being said, the game lacks in dungeon variety. Almost all of the dangerous places you'll visit in Bakumatsu are mountains, with only a color palette to differentiate them. It's boring. I found myself rushing through these levels, mashing the fast-forward button and avoiding thorough exploration. I understand the memory limits of the Super Famicom, but it still feels lazy. And while they are a definite disappointment, the rest of the graphic design in Bakumatsu excels. Your characters are superbly well-animated, full of personality and character. During the latter half of the game, your party travels across the sea to the New World - and it truly feels like a different continent! The level of detail in the map of a game this age managed to really surprise me, and I loved seeing my home country portrayed through the eyes of a different culture than my own.
Tumblr media
Bakumatsu features an upgraded combat system. Each character has a variety of sword-techniques that use their own MP gauge which is restored by walking. They're are all super well-animated, flashy, and just plain cool. Even the most basic moves are stronger than your standard attack, so even the ones you acquire early on retain their usefulness throughout the entire game. The standard magic spells and summon abilities have been upgraded graphically, too, making the battle sequences, as a whole, feel much more exciting and dynamic.
Tumblr media
Which is great, because like its predecessor, the encounter rate in Bakumatsu is disrespectful. Battles occur every couple of steps, and enemies are, due to the expanded combat mechanics in comparison to the previous game, often take a bit longer to defeat, as they tend to have an immunity to either magic or physical attacks. Remembering these characteristics is a matter of memory, as there are no spells available to identify weaknesses. Despite this, the overall difficulty level in Bakumatsu is much more reasonable than in Kishin - there are only two instances in which I had to stop and grind out some levels: once in the very beginning, and another near the very end of the game.
There are two other types of encounters that are worth discussing: the ship battles, and the underwater battles. Once you acquire your ship, you will, at times, run into other sailors that want nothing more than to send you to a watery grave. Your ship functions as a character would - it gains experience and levels up as you defeat enemies, but you must spend a pretty penny at the Yokohama docks for it to be upgraded. These oceanic encounters are novel for their time, and amusing enough, but suffer from balance issues. The first time you embark out onto the sea, you will have no way of knowing which ships you can take on, and which ones you have no chance against. It's a matter of trial-and-error, so frequent saving is recommended.
Tumblr media
The underwater battles are similar to regular encounters, but special attacks and spells are disabled, and are instead replaced with a bar that represents how much time you can stay underwater. Should this meter run out, your character dies instantly. Taking damage and attacking foes decreases this meter, but you can choose to surface for air, but doing so will end your character's turn. This presents an interesting "risk and reward" system - the player has to choose whether or not to risk drowning or finishing a battle quickly. I wish spells were available, though. I feel as though it would have been easy enough for the developer's to disable fire and water attacks, leaving the earth and other elements. Some of the monsters you'll find underneath the water's surface are vicious. I've never been more afraid of crabs in my entire life!
Tumblr media
Like it's predecessor, there is plenty of side-content to discover throughout the world, including a village-building minigame. Inhabited by friendly monsters you found throughout Japan, you can earn various rewards as it develops into a bustling hamlet. Special summons can also be found, but you'll have to meet special conditions in order for them to lend you their aid. This is where Bakumatsu’s most intriguing aspect comes into the play: the karma system. Depending on your choices throughout the game, you'll be assigned a rank, ranging from "Absolute Villain" to "Godlike" - these can affect whether or not you'll be able to obtain certain allies or spells.  Unfortunately, once you reach a certain point in the game, it becomes impossible to influence your rank beyond a certain point. If you're aiming to obtain everything, I'd recommend a guide.
Tumblr media
There is a lot to like about Bakumatsu: the game is well-paced, graphically stunning, and I loved how the developers were unafraid to experiment with all sorts of different mechanics. While the execution of these ideas were occasionally lacking, they were novel for their time. Between Bakumatsu and Kishin, if you were to only play one, I'd definitely recommend this title. It's a solid, if occasionally frustrating, experience, dripping with style and visual flair. Definitely recommend!

Angel of Yesterday
Absinthe was walking back to the Bridge of the Curzes Revenge. Moments before she had a talk with Arden after their solo charge against the Word Bearers ended in them getting gravely wounded. She had realized how her own Plans were not only egotistical but also actively endangering her friends and Crew. And thus she had made a decision.
Bursting through the Door of the Bridge she grabbed the microphone of the Vox sytem and send a message to her crew which was currently split on their two Ships.
"Night Lords, Space Wolf, Word Bearer, Iron Warrior, Servs and Human Crew. Hear my message. I have to tell you that I was dishonest. I lied. My Goals never were to become Empress. My Goal was to die. I am no true Heretic. I never was. I can't agree with either System but I know that I still wish to protect the People who rely on Soldiers like us. Farmers, City folks no matter the age or planet. I want to save the people once more. I don't want to serve a Primarch. No Bureaucracy. No Kings and No Gods."
Absinthe became more and more passionate in her speech.
"BUT WHO I WANT TO SERVE ARE THE CHILDREN AND INNOCENT PEOPLE WHO GET PRAYED ON BY BOTH. We are no shiny Ultramarines. We are no benevolent Salamanders. We are killers, butchers. Traitors and Deserteurs. But we still can be Protectors. I will not lie to you again. Our help won't be appreciated. We will never get our own statues. But we will know that when Imperium and Chaos wanted us dead or integrated into their ranks that we protected the people while also staying ourselves!"
She stopped and sighed. "Those that wish to leave can do so freely. Those that leave can board the Deicide and leave. I will not hunt or judge you. Those that want to stay will join me on the Curzes Revenge... No. On the 'Claw of Retaliation'. Claw Commander Absinthe out."
Absinthe turned around, ready to face backlash and hate. To her surprise nothing of the sorts happened. On the contrary.
Nocturnus stepped forward. "Commander. I think I speak for everyone aboard our ships that we would go into the Warp and back with you. Look at us. We would be alone amd lost without you unifying us. You are our Leader. So lead us forward to a new path"
Absinthe saluted her crew, her friends. She truly was blind before. She didn't see how important they all were for each other. That she didn't need to find a new family. She already had one.
"I am honored to be your Commander. Okay lets go. Nocturnus. I want you to calculate a course towards the Atta system. The 8th world there is a Agriworld which will soon be attacked by Red Corsairs. We can thank our friend Anvil for this information given how long he worked with them. We will intercept them and kick Hurons sons off of that World."
Nocturnus didn't waste any time and started his calculations as Absinthe turned towards Anvil, Olaf and Pete. "Follow me"
Hours later, Absinthe was helping those 3 with preparing Drop Pods and Petes new Terminator Armor.
"Its my old Atramentar Power Armor. I don't fit into it anymore but it will serve you well. I can't think of a better Terminator than you"
"I appreciate the gesture Lord Absinthe."
Absinthe gave the Iron Warrior a short smile before turning her attention to a nearby servitor. "Prepare my Armor. And... Uh.. Put on the black cape. No skin."
---
The Agriworld of Atta 8 was peaceful even by our standards. Most potential Attackers were more interested in the nearby Ultramar Sector. That made big defensive builds unnecessary but that was a fatal flaw in this case.
The Corsairs coming was announced by rustling in the corn underneath the sapphire blue sky. A small farming town was their target. Score it and set up camp to raid the surrounding area that hosted the only spaceport of the planet. With the Sun in their back, the Corsairs landed in the fields. Their Ships looking like Blood Raven ships to the untrained and unknowing Farmers eye. Thus the Farmers didn't fear them once they stepped out. Nothing ever happened and noone expected Chaos Marines here.
"I greet you Lord Blood Angel! What makes you visit our small town?"
The Corsair Captain grinned, exposing his filthy, warp tainted Mouth. "Blood Angel huh? BOYS. APPARENTLY WE'RE BLOOD ANGELS"
The Corsairs laughter was disturbing and horrible. The farmers instantly realized that this situation could be very well their end. The Corsair Captain smirked as he revved up his Chainsword. "Oh whom should I kill first? I haven't met my Quota for Khorne yet and I don't want to keep the old man waiting hahahahahah"
The Townsfolk screamed and cried in horror as they ran. It was of course useless since Hurons Boys could just outrun them but pure instinct drove them forward.
The Pirates were about to rush after them when one of them turned to the Captain. "Boss. There are Drop Pods raining down nearby. Apparently they come from those two Night Lords Ships we picked up earlier."
"Night Lords here? What do they want here? Aren't they busy flaying on some fucking Hive World or getting killed by Tyberos or Guilliman? Ugh fine. Boys we hunt the farmers later. Let's take care of those Bat-winged idiots first."
As the Captain ended his speech the Drop Pods hitted the ground. Absinthe was the first and only to emerge. "Captain Teach i assume? I heard a lot about you and your Pirates."
"Heh. Heard that boys? The big girl called us famous. You must be that newcomer. Absinthe right? I faintly remember that you killed Captain Bellamy and his guys. Have to thank you for that. They were a thorn in my remaining eye"
Absinthe laughed. "Oh don't thank me. It will not make me spare you"
"Spare us? You and your 5 drop pods? We're 30 Marines and you are one big Night Lord plus 4. Give up lassie. Go home and flay some Prisoners"
Absinthe laughed as the sound of clicking Bolters was heard all around them. Out of the softly moving corn, more and more Night Lords stepped forth until they numbered 60. Then Pete, Olaf and Anvil emerged from their pods.
"Corsairs. I offer you a choice. Join me and fight for the people of the Galaxy or die like the Rats you are. Its your choice. Fight for a cause or die for a greedy Bastard that sees you as cannonfodder"
A moment of silence fell upon them. It felt like hours. The Corsairs thought. Then. One by one they dropped their guns and surrendered to Absinthe.
Only the Captain was too far gone. Corrupted by greed and the Warp. With loud screams he charged at Absinthe while throwing grenades behind him into the Village. "IF I CAN'T GET THE LOOT NOONE WILL"
He fell faster than he could realize that his life was over. With one fluid movement Absinthe had ripped off his disgusting head using her Lightning Claw "Protector", once a weapon of Terror used by Night Haunter it now would serve as a Tool of protection and peace.
While Absinthe stared at the dead body of the Captain, the others were busy putting out the fire the Grenades caused and building new Huts by using the Drop Pods in which the distraction came. Truth is that most of them were hiding there long before the Corsairs arrived. The corn had given them a perfect hiding spot to await Absinthes arrival so they could surround the Pirates. Everything went according to plan.
Soon the People returned. They had witnessed how the Pods dropped and returned after they were sure that the situation was peaceful.
"Thank you for saving us Master.", the elderly Man that greeted the Corsairs earlier now spoke to Absinthe. "What legion do you belong to?"
Absinthe sighed and removed the Cape she had put over her Shoulder to hide her Legions insignia. "I am Claw Commander Absinthe the Orphanmaker. Leader of the Night Lords 1st Claw."
Absinthe was prepared for screaming and attacks of hatred against her but all she got was a chuckle from the old man. "Orphanmaker? That doesn't seem fitting at all for someone as benevolent as you! You protected us and made us new Homes until we can rebuild our regular houses. Think about it my Lord"
Absinthe was surprised but smiled. "I will. Goodbye old Man. And tell noone of this. The Inquisition would execute you all probably."
"We won't spill a word", the elder and the entire village made a gesture as if they lock their mouths with a key and throwing the key away. A gesture Absinthe knew from Nostramo but remembered that it originated on Terra. As Absinthe turned around to leave, a small child. A girl no older than 7 approached her, trying to give her a doll made from straw and fabric. Absinthe kneeled down and smiled.
"That's a beautiful doll. Thank you. I'll make sure that she gets a nice place on my ship. I promise"
Absinthe and her men then returned to their Thunderhawks as well as the two new the Corsairs left behind when joining the 1st Claws Ranks. Only the Drop Pods were left behind and told the Story of the Night Lords that came to protect.
------
Later that Day. On the Bridge of the Claw of Retaliation, Absinthe was sitting in her command seat, holding the small doll in her hands and thinking about the mission and the gratitude the people expressed.
Nocturnus approached her after he took note of all losses and captures of the Strike. "That was good work Commander. We got new Soldiers, Gear and Thunderhawks. The Drop Pods can be replac....you look as if something is worrying you"
"Not worrying...just..that old man and the kid. They are right. Orphanmaker is a bad name for someone who wishes to help and protect People instead of killing and terrorizing them"
Nocturnus nodded. "Yeah. Hmm...What about Angel of Yesterday?"
Absinthe chuckled. "What? Nocturnus don't make me laugh. That's... What does arden always say? Cheesy?"
"No no. Think about it. You have returned into this world after 10000 years. You live after ideals that are nearly forgotten but to the People, to those you wish to protect, you are a Angel by living these ideals. Think about it. Goodnight Commander."
With that, Nocturnus left the bridge to Absinthe and the Servitors and humans that keep the ship on track.
"Angel of Yesterday.....heh. yeah...i can be that", The doll was placed on the command seat as Absinthe left for her quarters.
(@slaanesh-is-my-boy and @chapter-master-darius as promised I tagged you guys because you voted for the Corsairs)
