Bowing comes natural to show off kind of characters, they are awesome, they are cocky, they are amazing and they know it.
But even if bowing it’s natural instinct or a character trait, there are different ways to bow, and you must admit, this is an specific kind of bow.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sonic really did spent great part of his formative years around Eggman.

One thing I find amusing about IDW Sonic is that there is a suprising amount of horror influences in the series. Sure, you have obvious stiff like the Metal Virus and Scrapnick Island, but even minor stuff like Dr. Starline literally poking into Belle's "brain", Eggman's horribly creepy testing ground, and Surge and Kit's backstory is something straight out of psychological horror. I personally love this kind of stuff, but I know it's not for everyone. How do you feel this?
I like all this stuff a lot. It's fun to lean a little more into the darker sci-fi side of the series after an era of the games that downplayed it, while still generally being tactful about it. It'd be easy to go too dark (lord knows Sonic has done this in the past), but I think they've found a really good balance where the darker elements are there to support the strong character drama.
I'm not sure how conscious of a move this was, but I think it's actually a perfect fit for the decision to lean into slightly more of a shounen manga vibe with the IDW comics. The villains and their schemes in those series tend to be pretty dark and edgy and threatening, sometimes with overt horror vibes! Orochimaru and the Akatsuki in Naruto, the League of Villains in My Hero Academia, the cursed spirits in JJK, the homunculi in FMA, the demons in Demon Slayer, etc. As an American kids' comic the Sonic villains can't go nearly as hard as Sukuna, but like, you can still have Mimic be a creepy evil shapeshifter guy with a knife, or have Starline do some really sinister mad science experiments. Even Eggman has some creepy moments, especially when Adam draws him in silhouette with that big evil grin. It's good.

Waves at you!! Two things!! :)
First, I’d love to hear about your teenage Tails wip, that sounds so silly!!
Since kitsunes are born with two tails, will Tails start growing more as he ages?
Second, is it alright if I draw some inspiration from your villain au to write something of my own? I love your backstory for Sonic and Eggman and it’s something I’d like to pry into more! I’d be happy to credit you, but I absolutely understand if you’d prefer not to be used in fanfic /gen
waves back hello!!
first: another piece of “patience is a virtue (don’t wait up)”
“You and Tails are bad influences on my kid,” Vector said to Sonic, shaking his head with a sigh.
Amy giggled as Sonic just shrugged, “Hey, don’t give Tails too much credit. Where d’you think he got it from?”
”So you admit you’re a bad influence on any child you meet?” Espio asked, raising a brow.
”Sure am! Though Cream seems to have evaded my attempts at corruption.” Sonic said with a contemplative expression before reclining on his back, hands tucked behind his head, “I’m sure I’ll get ‘er one day. It’s only a matter of time!”
secondly: yeah for sure, go ahead! i don’t own the idea of eggman raising sonic lol, i just wanted to put a dark twist on the whole eggdad thing. if you wanna credit me for inspiration, feel free to, but i don’t really care either way

reread Archie issue 4 where Sonic and Tails fight about Tails dad in prison and Sonic hooking up w Fiona and was wondering if you'd ever have them fight like that in your work? Admittedly your Unleashed fic is one of my favorites because they're arguing, even if a large part was due to Sonic being more influenced by negative emotion. I love all your work, that one just stands out to me most because of the tension!
Hi anon, I'm assuming you're talking about the House of Cards story arc?
First, thank you! I'm glad moments like that in my writing stand out to you <3 I enjoy writing tension as much as I do comfort, lol.
Now, I haven't read much Archie myself. I've heard there are some good stories in there, but I just had a hard time getting past the art style in the earlier issues, even as a kid, so didn't ever get into them. I do know of Sonic and Tails's fight though, and I have to admit, I'm not the biggest fan. For me, it feels like a missed opportunity to have them fight about something that actually makes sense for them to be at odds over.
Sonic and Tails don't fight or argue that often, so when they do I feel like it should be more meaningful. I really can't see either of them making the decision that they did which led to that fight. It's just not believable to me, and maybe it's because I didn't read all of the build-up in the issues beforehand, but to me there are more satisfying ways to put them on opposite sides of an issue that fits their characters better. But that's just my perception of them. Others may feel differently!
That being said, it's probably safe to say I won't have them fight like that in my fics xD I don't really like when they fight fight, and they don't like it either! I like to give them opposing conflicts or disagreements, but they both love and respect each other too much to let it get much beyond that.
They can get frustrated with each other, they can want or need some space, they can snap at each other in the heat of the moment, but it’s all so brief. Tails is more likely to hold grudge, sure, but Sonic won’t. It’s not worth it to him. Sonic might be said to have a "quick temper" but he doesn't really tend to dwell on things. If Tails makes him mad, it’s a matter of minutes before he’s brushed it off and moved on. Water under the bridge. And while Sonic’s not great at apologizing, he’s very good at making it hard to stay mad at him. It helps that whatever he did was likely unintentional, he rarely wants to hurt someone’s feelings (unless it’s Eggman lol). All it really takes for Tails to “get over” the occasional spat is for Sonic to just see him. Meet him where he’s at.
Even in the Unleashed fic, they're snappy with one another because they're both sleep-deprived and Tails is reacting to stress with more stress, while Sonic's reacting to the stress by flat out ignoring it's existence. As soon as Sonic realizes Tails is actually upset though? He's backing down, he's not pushing any more buttons. He doesn't want to be on the other side of an issue from Tails, he wants to be right there beside him. So they can get through it together.
There'll definitely be more moments like that between them, because I do love the tension, too, but in terms of putting them in a position where they'd physically fight each other or that actually threatens their bond? That's probably not going to happen. At least not when either of them are in their right frame of mind. Tails knows there's no way he'd win a physical fight with Sonic, and Sonic also knows this. Or, well, Tails might win, but only because Sonic would refuse to hit him xD I'm sorry, for me, there's no universe where Sonic thinks beating up his little brother is an a-okay way to solve any conflict with him. Archie might not have the bullying backstory for Tails (I don't think it does?), but since my fics do, Sonic would never intentionally lay a hand on him, even in self-defense. If Tails is mad enough to hit him, then Sonic figures he's probably got a good reason for it.
Thanks for the ask!

I have, like, 3 different STH AUs based around or off of Sonadow / Shadonic :
PrimeBoom - in this AU the events of Sonic Prime and Sonic Boom happen in the same universe (Sonic Prime happens before Sonic Boom). The games are also a part of this AU (the Boom Games ( I think it was called rise of lyrics)
Nine and Dead Shadow - y'know how Sonic found Tails and essentially adopted / raised him in the canon story? Well, in this AU, Nine (Yoke City's Tails (I forgot the name of the place)) was found by Shadow, and then Yoke City Shadow died. This influences Nine's "trust no one" stuff, because he blames himself for Shadows death. Then when he meets Prime Shadow, he's upset to find out this shadow doesn't even know him, nor does he trust him. I like this AU a lot, because it has a lot of angst potential :D
Finally,
Shadow Knows Everyone AU - This AU is more of a joke / crack AU, and it includes my OC (Keres, Shadow's Estranged Sister). In this AU, Shadow knows Manic and Sonia, and he gets along with them. He met them on a Gun mission, where he was sent to figure out the secret identity of Prince Maurice (aka, Sonic). He does find out, but Sonic doesn't know until he randomly sees Manic talking with Rouge (they met through Shadow). Shadow also is close with Whisper and (involuntarily, but gratefully) Tangled. At one point, Eggman makes a robot that creates baby versions of whoever is hit by it. It hits Shadow, Sonic, Tails and Keres and suddenly the classic versions of them are running around causing havoc, because why tf not, y'know? I feel like the kids would get along with Shadow, and they like him the most. also Classic Sonic has a child crush on Shadow. Also, much to everyone's surprise, Classic Shadow talks alot, and in different languages too (like French, Spanish, German, Latin). Shadow babysits Cream, and helps Vanilla with stuff. He also works with Chaotix at times, because Shadow accidentally worked with them once, and Espio realized that Shadow's speed and intelligence was useful. There are a lot of ships in this AU - Sonadow, Blazamy, Mephilver, Knuxouge, Whisper/Tangled, Manourge, and Salnia (Sonia x Sally). There's more, but I don't really remember them, lol.
^ TLDR - The AU is basically a slice of life AU, and Shadow just knows alot of people.
I hope that I will eventually write stuff about the SKE AU because it genuinely sounds like it'd do great as a story (I am shamelessly biased, I know, but I really want to get back into writing)
I'm going to post more on other AUs that aren't centered around Sonadow, I swear I have some.

The Sonic Crew, 40 Years Later-
Just one of many possibilities, of course, but I challenged myself to imagine what Sonic's crew and Team Dark might look like when they're older. Long post beneath the cut:
Sonic
The one who changed the least
Still an absolute daredevil with a heart of gold
All that running and frequent injuries did a number on his knees and he started using knee braces and a cane/crutches in his late 20s
(it took him a while to be okay with this, but he's over that now)
(He can still run if needed, but he'll be hurting for a few days after.)
Gets his need for speed by racing cars, motorcycles, the Tornado, and by skydiving
Still LOVES helping people and spends a lot of time volunteering
Yes, he's still signing autographs
He's got a permanent home now, mostly to store the Tornado and his other vehicles. He took over Tails' workshop when the fox left for greener pastures and likes keeping the place fixed up.
He's been reading a lot more. Now that he's got a permanent place, his library collection is massive
He's just taking it one day at a time, man. Always has, always will
Tails
The one who changed the most
He owns a garage in the city now, with a sign on the door that says "Prower's inventions and tinker shop"
He always knew that he wanted to sell the things he made, but he had absolutely zero interest in the business side of things outside of running social media accounts
So he's gone indie! He's almost more of an artist and influencer than a world-class inventor, but don't let that fool you
He's still selling his patents to top companies and making a crapton of money
(he's the second most well-off of the friend group aside from Rouge.)
So how's he changed?
He's lost a lot of his childlike innocence, become increasingly more focused on people's perception of him and making online content
and ultimately, he chose technology over the outdoors
Sonic kinda knew that sort of thing was inevitable, but it still hurt when Tails decided to move to the big city and stop exercising as much
But he's very happy where he is and how he's living, and he and Sonic still catch up with each other frequently
Knuckles
Still guarding the Master Emerald!
But he's really learned how to do more with his life despite staying on one island for most of his time
Tails finally convinced him to install enough technology to keep him connected to the world below
Since then, Knuckles has become the number one expert on Echidna anthropology/archaeology in the world
He's written several books using speech-to-text technology
(it's been difficult work- he's not the best reader or writer, but he put the effort in and now he's a published author!)
When he's not writing or giving talks on Echidna culture over video call, he's still taking care of Angel Island, growing his own food, and making more discoveries about ancient Echidna culture. That much hasn't changed
Ever since the defeat of Eggman, he's more willing to take vacations off of Angel Island, but it's still a rare occurence
He usually notifies the friend group via group chat whenever he plans on coming down for a visit, often resulting in reunions
Amy
Amy absolutely "settled down" and opened the bakery she's always wanted to open
Unlike Tails, she LOVES the business side of things along with the actual baking
Her bakery is one of the most famous in the city she lives in now
She loves the thrill of commanding the kitchen staff and managing all the tasks that go into producing good pastries!
She also developed a love for children, and spoils any child in her vicinity rotten
And she has kids of her own, duh
She helps organize and moderate the group chat for the old friend group
And she loves coordinating visits/reunions
Her house is always open to anybody and everybody. She loves entertaining guests, especially if they're old friends
Her house is SO cute and homey it's almost overbearing
When her kids have kids she is going to be the sweetest grandma ever
Rouge
Already detailed in this post here!
Shadow
He's matured a lot, finally having enough wisdom to act as "the wise immortal"
He's become a nomad, sort of like how Sonic used to be, except he takes things at a much slower pace
(he retired from GUN and absolutely had a midlife crisis. this is the result)
He keeps diligent journals of every place he visits, food he tries, people he meets, and so on
He's picked up on Sonic's hobby of learning languages due to his travels
He's gotten much better at socializing with strangers but still prefers solitude
. . . but he still carries a phone on him and participates (albeit rarely) in the old friend group chat
(Rouge and Omega have him on speed dial, of course. He'll drop everything at their beck and call, even if it's a simple "I miss you")
He's gotten more interested in some more esoteric stuff that would've made his younger self cringe, like poetry and spirituality
The world knows him as a bit of cryptid, lol
Omega
Unlike Shadow, he's not retired!
He left GUN and became a freelance operator. Kind of a mercenary, except he has just a touch more discretion than that
(His version of a midlife crisis happened when he finally killed Eggman circa 30 or so years ago. Those were some messy, messy times, but since then he's made peace with his continued existence)
He is still Angry, of course, but he's a lot more chill than he used to be. Sometimes this throws Shadow for a loop.
His ego, though ever-present, has been tempered by age
Mostly because he kinda thinks his younger self was a bit cringe??
Mention the word "Meatbag" and he'll get stoically embarrassed about it
Anyways, he's also a nomad, traveling the world to do jobs and stopping by Tails' garage for repairs
He stops by Rouge's house often, and meets up with Shadow at least once a month
("YOU ARE THE FOOLISH ORGANICS THAT CONVINCED ME OF THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP. YOU ARE NOT GETTING RID OF ME SO EASILY.")

Thankful for The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog giving some good examples the exact kind of Eggdad Eggfam dynamics stuff that I really wanna see if it has to be a thing in the games. Would be very happy to see more of this. It's been going around out of context but I like it in context much more
I like how he encourages his robots to compete to impress him and be "rewarded", which keeps them motivated and loyal in serving him. This is EXACTLY the kind of thing I've been fucking talking about in my Eggdad tag!!! WIN
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then you end up with robots built with the desire to serve him! Them specifically being programmed with those desires makes it seem a lot more artificial and shallow and that's why I like it, it feels very accurate because both Eggman and his creations prioritize pleasing him.
Tumblr media
And he takes pride in their sentience and loyalty only being possible thanks to his genius, of course 🥰
Tumblr media
And I like how this also plays a part in the Mirage Express' crisis about the conductor leaving, as that is what it saw as its bounty and all and the wish it had
The turning people into robots for Sage to play with thing is good because it can be a way for him to try to get her to see and use people as play things, just like he does.
Tumblr media
His 'parenting' involves evil and it can be a way of having a bad influence which is another thing that can be helpful in getting his creations to be on the same page and agree with all his beliefs and desires too.
I also like that Sage is red not blue so she's evil again, which I highly expect in the future main games because there's no way he'd revive her as a good person over who he actually created her to be if he can do anything about it, like Flynn was seemingly hinting at too
Tumblr media
I also appreciate Eggman being as big of an angry asshole to Orbot and Cubot as usual and them not acting like he's ever been genuinely nice to them
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I like to think Eggman approved only shirts for his "kids" to wear that hype HIM up. Whether he has them made or not, it's funny that's the case instead of them having like "best daughter/son" shirts, it has to be all about him like he always wants hehe
Tumblr media
Something that would make it funnier is that it could potentially also be Metal's "birthday" in the game too, since he shares an anniversary with Amy because maybe that's why they have party hats and yet it's still all about Eggman over the potential birthday boy lol

First post, of course I had to do one of the main protags of this au and the ship that kinda started it all - Silvamy, aka the Rose family! (yes all the kids have amy's last name, more on that later.) Lets get into this sweet yet spicy fam. Silver T. Hedgehog
Age: 42
Occupation (Disaster Relief Specialist/ Timestone Guardian)
Extra Notes - still not fully satisfied with silver's older design, I think its because he's supposed to feel out of place amongst the present day sonic cast to really sell the futuristic aspect, i scrolled through a ton of silver au fanart to get inspo because i was stumped and didn't want to just slap some scruff on him and call it a day, especially since he joined the guardian of powerful gems club with blaze and knuckles (still working on the kinks but basically eggman nega survived his entrapment in the chaotic inferno, found out about the timestones and made little big planet the new holding ground for an infantile infrit, slowly working on "raising" it so he can subjugate the past, present and future and accomplish what his forefathers have always lacked - world domination and an another race against time to save the future ensues.) - Silver is now the guardian of the time stones and got an boost in psychic power and I wanted to give him an indicator similar to knuckle's crescent mark or blaze's forehead gem hence the teal markings. He has pulled an captain america and now safely stays in the past with his wife and kids and works similar to the zone cops of the archie comics but way more powerful and freelance. he also helps out with natural disasters like earthquakes or tsunamis thanks to his upgraded psychic powers. To end on an literal fluffy note, his wife and kids love the extra chest fur.
Amy Rose
Age: 40
Occupation: Event Planner/Fitness Trainer (Part-Time)
Extra Notes - pretty happy with amy's design, wanted to do something different from the long-haired cottagecore amys for sonamy fams, not knocking them - they work well for that dynamic but amy has an trio of very unique kids to parent, an time traveling husband and spends her days dealing with picky customers for all sorts of events and still find time to occasionally teach self-defense class and yoga to young women, she needs to be ready at all times. I wanted to go for an more casual and classic feminine nicole watterson vibe (yes, she is hiding muscles under that sweater dress :P.) - kudos to anyone who can get why she has
glasses! I think the half-moon ones really suit her!
Zenia Rose
Age: 15 (Born May 23rd)
Powers: Enhanced durability, Enhanced senses, telekinesis, minor chaos energy manipulation, empathetic sensing/linking/inundation, minor telepathy
My precious cinnamon roll! Zenia was the first serious sonic oc I ever made so I wanted to do her justice! She leans alot more towards her father in terms of appearance, power set and personality being a bit of an socially awkward and humble overthinker but she has her mother’s big heart and very caring and optimistic outlook on life, her parents nurtured her powers and her emotional capability in equal measures and thus she’s pretty well rounded in expressing and understanding the feelings of herself and others, though she tends to get more overbearing with those she’s close with, all round an very feminine girl next door archetype. As far as design goes, I wanted silver’s vibe but amy’s coloring and clear fashion influence with a dash of zenia’s more natural and graceful preferences, so pastels, frills and flower motifs were a go. I’m pretty proud of the idea of how to mimic her dads - lets say, “unique” quill style but make it more feminine so I took the spines at the back of silvers head and moved them to the front to be curtain-like bangs to always give her an demure look and then enlarged and curled his crown of quills and pushed them back behind an headband to give an bump it style, the rest is an homage to those long haired amy designs I mentioned earlier! She looked a lot like amy’s original design when she was an bab. Also her powers are a spring green instead of a teal like her dads because they are weaker and more emotion based. Silver personally made her energy cuffs and couldn’t say no when she asked for an flower design as the insignia.
Auger Rose
Age: 8 (Born October 10th) Powers: Enhanced durability, enhanced senses, tarot card manipulation, minor precognitive ability (boosted when using tarot cards), minor chaos energy manipulation, acrobatics. Auggie! The quintessential middle child and only boy of the family - Auger’s family never makes him feel left out which he appreciates but he appreciates his own solitude and doing things at his own pace more. Silver initially worried that his own former solitary ventures in his once ruined timeline or even the powers hes gained from the time stones themselves has re-emergence in his son especially when auger revealed how he gets  flashes of the potential future sometimes but eventually amy and silver realizes thats just how their kiddo is, he’s not trying to be standoffish or emotionless, he just does and expresses things differently and thats okay, auger knows his family loves him and he shows the same affection in his own subdued way, plus his sisters keeps him on his toes and lets him shine when need be. Augers design is an mesh of forgotten concepts or concept arts of amy and silver, I always wanted to bring back amys tarot card abilities since thats what technically got her into the main cast plus they are an fun way to connect silver and amys dynamics and personal goals into their kid. I ripped off the hair design from my first actual sonic oc - Specs the hedgecat and tweaked it a bit to fit more inline with auger’s personality - ie tamed but not stuffy. Augers eyes are perpetually half-lidded for an myriad of reasons and he always has that waist belt with him as it carries his own special deck of tarot cards. Can’t remember how I came up with his fur color, He’s an autumnal baby with his twin sister so I just rolled with that I think.  Fun Fact - Auger is a tool with a helical bit for boring holes in wood and is an personal play on the word, Augur which is the ancient roman practice of observing birds to interpret omens! Maple Rose
Age: 8 (Born October 10th) Powers: Enhanced durability, enhanced senses, enhanced strength, piko-piko hammer, acrobatics, spindash, homing attack
The baby of the family, auger’s twin sister and probably the reason amy and silver stopped at three kids. Maple is the wild child of the trio and took all of her parents headstrong traits and cranked them up to 11, having a very strong sense of justice and action taking but oftentimes leaping before she looks. The type of child to constantly be sulking in the principal's office because she fought with another kid who was being a jerk, pouting not because she’s sorry but because she’s getting in trouble for something the bully started. An tomboy playground protector if you will with tons of energy to burn and big dreams to fill. Amy wonders semi-fondly if this is adorable karma for always wondering what a child with sonic will be like as her little girl looks up to the blue blur immensely and wants to be the next big hero of her generation. Amy severely regrets the day she let sonic teach maple how to spindash (fun fact - she’s the only one of her siblings who can do it successfully!) and both her and silver are still trying to figure out how to explain their decorated history with sonic without the girl jumping to fantastical conclusions, this coupled with the fact maple carries her mothers legacy of the piko piko hammer and well…knee pads, helmets and bandages are always running out at the rose household with maple playing hero. All in all however, Maple is an loyal friend and while she can be pushy at times, tell her to back off and she will, having two more soft spoken siblings has certainly helped tame her more out there ideas and tendencies. Design wise - maples coloring was to complement her brothers but I headcanon amy’s father as being an red hedgehog so took that and mixed it with silvers darker hue to make that maple sap color work and I takes cue from the classic rough and tumble troublemaker kids of old cartoons, tooth knocked out and everything as well as using silvers unique quill shape to have the excuse to emulate maple leaves for her hair, always has some form of bandage or dirt on her no matter how many times her mothers tries to keep her clean.

If Silver was in Sonic Unleashed
A few people liked my silly Sonic Movie 4 theory, so here's another one of if Silver had shown up in Sonic Unleashed, though this is more of a hypothetical scenario than a theory. Once again under cut because it's too long.
Silver would come from a future where Dark Gaia won, the planet was split apart, eternal darkness reigned, and Dark Gaia monsters roamed, so of course he would travel back to the past to try and stop this future from happening.
He'd land in Spagonia at nighttime just after the planet split apart. When he goes to try getting more information at Spagonia University, he finds it trashed and the lead professor missing (the assistant wasn't around to tell Silver what happened by the time he arrived). Dark Gaia monsters soon show up and start terrorizing the city, so Silver takes it upon himself to protect the people from these monsters.
He asked around and got a lead on the professor's whereabouts, but had no clue how to get to Mazuri without exhausting his powers, so Silver became the impromptu guardian of Spagonia for the time being as Sonic does his own thing.
Later, when Sonic first arrives at Spagonia, a kid tips Sonic off that Silver is in the area, though they described him as a hero with shining fur and cool psychic powers that shows up to protect the people when monsters of the night attack, and seemed to really admire him. Despite this, Silver isn’t anywhere to be seen (likely is sleeping somewhere hidden).
Even later, when Sonic shows back up to Spagonia at night, the same kid tells him that the hero went off on his own after getting told that strong monsters showed up somewhere, and asks him to go look for him to make sure he's alright. This mission leads Sonic to Silver, who has already taken care of the monsters by the time he got to him. Silver mistakes Sonic for another Dark Gaia monster and attacks him, not believing Sonic when he says he's not one of them. He had to defeat him to get him to listen.
Once Silver was more willing to listen, he asks Sonic what the heck happened to him (after remarking he's gotten much fluffier from when he last saw him), and Sonic gets him up to speed on everything that happened (after Chip offers Silver some chocolate) up to this point. When returning to the main hub, that same kid shows up and is glad to see his hero is okay. The kid gets disappointed when Silver tells them he has leave to help out Sonic with the whole Dark Gaia situation, but promises to stop by once everything's settled.
Silver would be lending his assistance by tracking down the exact locations of the rest of the Gaia Temples and help out Sonic whenever he gets in a jam. During breather periods, he takes the time to learn about each countries' culture and sampling their various foods, as well as taking in the sights. Taking in these various cultures further fueled his resolve to save his future from eternal darkness.
When the team get to Shamar, Silver goes off on his own to find the Gaia Temple, but hasn't returned by nightfall. Sonic and Chip go searching for him. They do eventually find him, but he attacks them, under the reason that Dark Gaia getting unleashed was caused by Sonic and it was all his fault. Turns out he somehow got corrupted by Dark Gaia's influence. When Chip goes to purify him, he knocks the camera away, making Chip go find it, and leaving Sonic to deal with Silver.
Silver was tougher to deal with a second time, but Sonic managed to distract then subdue him long enough for Chip to find the camera and purify him. Once the monster that was influencing him is taken out and he recovers from a daze, he reveals he got ambushed and knocked out from behind, likely from Eggman's robots, but doesn't recall anything past that. He does apologize when told of what he did, but Sonic tells him it's all good and to not worry about it.
When finally at Eggmanland, Silver would split up from Sonic and Chip to cover more ground on finding the last Gaia Temple. Silver wouldn't reunite with them until after the defeat of the Egg Dragoon, apologizing for being late to the party.
When Dark Gaia finally reveals itself, Silver isn’t fazed since he fought monsters like this before. Even when Sonic got weakened, he wasn't going to give up, but he admittedly didn't know what to do, and yelled at Chip that they have to figure something out quickly.
At that point, Chip summons the Gaia Temples to them and forms the Gaia Colossus, and Sonic recovers shortly after. The boss fight goes as normal, with Sonic and Silver taking turns taking out Dark Gaia's eyes before working together to take out the third and final one.
When Dark Gaia becomes Perfect Dark Gaia, both Hedgehogs go Super, and the final battle commences. Sonic and Silver work together to take out the forcefield while Gaia Colossus keeps Perfect Dark Gaia distracted, with Silver occasionally using any floating debris within the forcefield to attack Perfect Dark Gaia with to briefly distract it from Sonic and Chip.
When the forcefield eventually goes down, Perfect Dark Gaia grabs the Gaia Colossus and prepares to fire its strong laser attack. Sonic and Silver worked together to free the Gaia Colossus before it was too late. Chip did get free, but Perfect Dark Gaia still got to fire off its laser attack, Chip pulled through and punched the thing, leaving it dazed and open for Sonic and Silver to deal the final blow.
Silver gives Sonic a boost by launching him right at the main eye, then the fight is won.
The ending doesn't change much. Once Sonic and Silver take in the sunrise, Sonic thanks Silver for his help and says he'll see him later, and Silver wishes Sonic good luck and says he'll see him in the near future before the two part ways.
When Silver eventually returns to his timeline, no longer is it shrouded in darkness and despair, it's filled with light and hope, and the planet is in one piece. He looks up to the blue sky and smiles. The future is looking bright.
At least for now.

sonic's values are very strong and fairly consistent — he wants to be free, he wants to have fun and explore the world and protect and be in nature, he doesn't want to be saddled with responsibility he didn't ask for. he'll protect people he comes across who are clearly in need of it, but he does not consider himself to have some responsibility to protect everyone; he does the right thing when faced with choices in a sort of immediate sense, but he isn't going out of his way to consider or fight for some Greater Good. it's the difference between defending someone he happens along from badniks, or rescuing animals from eggman once he's aware he's captured them vs. searching out eggman ahead of time to put an end to the future danger he poses.
for a long time, sonic didn't really think of his values or his actions as having an effect on other people, let alone effects that weren't immediately visible. he's independent to a fault, and mostly unaffected by the world or actions around himself — particularly when he was young, he took all his strength from himself and little from the world and even less from other people, so it was easy for him to imagine that everyone else was the same. over time, he developed bonds with others and gained an actual desire to have an effect on their lives — tails was first, and knowing that he made the little guy's life better felt wonderful — but even with his friends, he doesn't want to be responsible for them in any real way. that sort of thing feels really stifling! tails remains the only exception to this, 'cause that's his little brother, but even that took a long time and he's a lot more hands off than a lot of older brothers / guardians would have been with the kid.
this is all to say that sonic, for a long time, didn't really consider the ways that his adventures affected others. he's not thinking about the people whose cars or lives get fucked up when he's racing through the city with a G.U.N. truck on his heels. he's not considering the reality that anybody other than the animals he saves are affected when he blows up a badnik and frees them. et cetera, et cetera.
this is all distinct from sonic taking blame for when things go wrong ( though he also doesn't, for the most part ); i mean that in a very literal sense it just didn't occur to him for a long time that his actions have effects on the world or the people in it aside from the very obvious observable stuff.
this means he misses a lot of things! he doesn't see tails or amy developing complexes about being good enough for or to him because he doesn't consider that he can affect others in that way. he doesn't think about the fact that when he battles eggman through a city or settlement the settlement gets fucked up and actual lives are affected. he doesn't consider the reality that while he's playing around with eggman or snarking with metal, people on the ground are often getting hurt or dying in a way that might not happen if he just fought and ended it. he doesn't kill eggman even though not doing so means that eggman is going to hurt other people. as far as sonic is concerned, that has nothing to do with him.
—— this all makes him sound very selfish. in some ways it is! but i want to emphasize that this doesn't come from any internal lack of compassion or love for the world. this isn't him not caring about human ( or mobian ) lives. he cares so much. he is so defined by his compassion to me. he just is that independent. that is just how is brain works. it doesn't occur to him that his freedom and fun can sometimes come at the expense of others' freedom, because no one else's freedom and fun comes at the expense of his.
a lot of what i consider as defining my sonic and the way i write him is that he's been becoming more cognizant of the way he actually does influence the world and the people around him beyond what he can immediately see. it's not that his morals or ways of living have changed, necessarily. i could point to specific moments — the war, seeing tails's complexes in sharp relief in frontiers, everything with surge and kit — but honestly it was happening prior to that, and the particulars aren't as important as the reality. the sort of slow realization. oh, wait. my friends have complexes that don't exist in a vaccuum, that developed in part because of their proximity to me. that settlement got wrecked and people's lives turned upside down in a fight i was involved with. people's hearts get broken and sometimes that's my fault. the way i live my life and chase my freedom sometimes results in less freedom for others.
he really, really hates this, by the way. he hates imagining this. he hates it because it puts a responsibility on him he never asked for. he hates it because it feels stifling and claustrophobic to have that much power when all he wants to do is be himself and have fun and be free. he hates it because it means people are putting him a pedestal he resents. he hates it because this interdependence by definition makes him less independent. and he especially hates it because, like i said, compassion is so central to him for me. he loves people and the world and it's — calling it frustrating is too soft a word. thinking about surge and kit too long makes him so angry he could scream, the idea that other people lost their freedom in part because of him. whether or not it's Actually His Fault — he thinks it's not, but he also doesn't think about blame all that much generally — the reality is that they got hurt, badly, in part because of his adventures. they're collateral that he had a hand in.
like i said, i don't think his values or lifestyle themselves have changed in major ways. he's more cognizant of trying to avoid big battles in populated areas if he can, and he'll try to draw enemies away from those areas in a way he wouldn't have bothered with when he was young. if he's in a fight where other lives are at stake, he'll try to finish the fight quicker and spend less time playing or quipping. he's more cognizant of the way many of his friends feel diminished next to him, and while he'd never condescend to them by pretending to know what they need, he is more willing and quick to compliment them or make clear how cool he thinks they all are. he's also more willing to take responsibility for the collateral in the past and apologize when confronted with it.
when he's at his lowest, he even agrees to some extent with the idea that maybe he should be doing more. maybe he should be prioritizing the good of others over his own freedom, lets himself feel guilty. sometimes he'll swing into the other direction towards a weird resentment towards the world and the people in it for depending on him so much when he never asked for that or agreed to it. both of these are very much a reaction he has to the reality being extremely traumatized, not an actual shift in values, and when he comes out of it both sentiments disgust him in different ways.

hello, i saw an ask were someone asked you if you thought tails ever attempted to find his parents and it made me wonder if you ever thought of a scenario were tails father had no idea he even existed or he was led to believe by tails mother that she gave him away and he couldn't find him?
Okay I read when you sent it and been thinking about this one for the whole time. Sorry for the late reply but my sister had her baby so things have been busy.
But moving on from personal stuff, I love this idea but I'm gonna take it a step darker....what if Tails' mother told his father that Tails tragically died.
So going into my take of an AU for this here and it's gonna be long so putting it under the cut
So what if Tails' mother was actually from an influential family or something or they both are. But image is VERY important to her. So when she had Tails with his two...well..tails she was immediately not okay with this cause (spongebob mocking voice) "whAt WoulD oThEr peOpLe tHInK." So Tails' mom starts-a-plotting.
So while Tails is still a baby or like at least like a one year old, she goes on a trip with just her and Tails. So during this "trip" she tragically "loses" Tails and she goes crying home that he died in like a storm or an Eggman attack or something. In reality she legit just left him in a random forest on West Side Island.
So without a body Tails' father looks for him but tiny little guy in a big world and his mom purposely telling him the wrong area means 0% chance of finding baby Tails.
Years then go by and Tails and Sonic start gaining notoriety for their shenanigans and their adventures get back to Tails' parents sphere of influence.
Now obviously they can't 100% confirm that this Tails is their kid but like how many two tailed foxes can there be??? So Tails' father is pretty gun-ho of tracking down Tails just to like at least see if he's maybe their long lost kid, but his mom uses the excuse of she's still so "upset" and "traumatized" from losing him that she doesn't think they should go cause "What if it's not him?! She couldn't possibly handle loosing her baby a second time!!!" (cue fake tears worthy of an Emmy). But the whole time she's like internal sweating like "oh fuck what if he finds out that's our kid and I actually straight up abandoned him!!"
She manages to delay a trip for them to find and talk to Tails for a while but eventually Tails' father just goes and tries to track him down himself.
Side note 1) - I'm thinking that Tails' parents didn't have another kid because while his mom claims it's from the trauma of losing her first baby it's really because after her first kid came out with what she believes to be a deformity she's scared a second one would too. So no surprise siblings for Tails (though that would also be interesting to explore - I ain't got the brain capacity for that in this particular post)
Side note 2) - it would be interesting if during her stalling time she hires people to try and either straight up kill Tails or just someone who would fake the paternity tests to say Tails is not their kid. Maybe both???? You know what yeah why not both.
I feel like a hitman going after Tails would be interesting though cause I'm always a sucker for protective older brother Sonic and you can bet that it would be in overdrive if someone goes after Tails with the express purpose of killing him.
So while Sonic and Co. are fighting off hired hitman and trying to figure out who sent them, this random ass guy shows up claiming to possibly be Tails' father. Immediate alarm bells start going off in all their brains (double for Sonic if you include the SAT-AM cartoon episode where Eggman legit made fake parents claiming Tails is their lost kid for the express purpose of kidnapping him).
So they all start looking into this guy and actually do go through with a paternity test. And surprises of surprises when it come back positive. They then proceed to do it 5-8 more times with different Drs (or whoever does this idk) to make sure he ain't faking it somehow. But nope turns out that yep this is Tails' real dad who is saying he's been looking for him this whole time. (press X for doubt from Sonic and Tails)
But when Tails' father starts explaining his side of the story including where Tails' mother claims to have lost Tails. Tails and Sonic are immediately suspicious cause where his mother told his father he was lost is basically on the other side of the planet from West Side where Sonic found him.
They reiterate this to Tails father, who they are still suspicious of that's he's lying but they trying to figure out what's real and not from what he's saying. And the man is confused cause lookin at a map he also knows 2 + 2 ain't equaling 4 between their two stories.
Cue all them deciding to go to Tails' mother to see what she says from her side of things. The whole time still having to fight off various hitman cause they still coming.
They get to Tails' parents home town and Tails' mom immediately plays up the "oh woa is me, I don't want to get attached until I know he's really my baby." And at this point she's at the top of everyone's (but maybe the not the father's yet) list of being behind the hitman so no ones buying her bs.
So to try and catch her in her lie they ask to do the paternity tests with both of them (not telling her they've already run Tails' fathers multiple times with all positive results). And lo an behold, both come back negative. And she immediately tries to play the "oh how tragic you are not our kid, but best be on your way" but whoops the father reveals the like 6 positive tests he's already done so now she's caught in her own lie.
And idk where to go from here so if anyone want to "yes and" this post (or really any of mine) feel free. Just @ me so I can read them.
Hope you liked my take on this idea

Personal Hot Takes on the Sonic Franchise.
Something I felt like sharing on here, my personal hot takes of Sonic The Hedgehog that I'm sure will rankle some but I've deeply felt over the past year or so having researched and examined most things revolving around the titular speedy blue hedgehog.
I think Ian Flynn is simultaneously overhated and overrated. He has contributed for almost 20 years as one of the main writers of the spin-off comics and most recently the games but honestly I again think he's not that great nor do I think he's terrible. To me, he's just a name and that's it.
Pontaff (Ken Pontac and Warren Graff) aren't that bad but how the fandom treated them is much worse than their contributions. Yes, their writing was more kiddie style but Sonic Team/Sega signed off on this direction and Pontaff were for the most part localisers as Ian Flynn currently serves as a games writer. I know Lost World and Forces are often derided for their respective story problems but personally I think they've got at least the right ideas in terms of what the Sonic characters represent thematically and I genuinely like aspects of them (the scene of Eggman violently snapping at Zavok and Zazz is genuinely great and I think Infinite as a character idea for a new Sonic adversary is what I prefer to see the franchise do more off rather than a series of giant slobbering lovecraftian creatures) but I agree that they're charitably speaking deeply flawed as stories. But the blame should be laid at the feet of Sonic Team/Sega than just at Pontaff personally.
IDW Sonic is just mediocre at best, often full of filler, drawn out story arcs and having a distinctively underwhelming set of new villains that really aren't that interesting or compelling. Honestly it feels like a waste and I'd be up for a proper reboot series that potentially hues much closer to the spirit of the games. The actual art however is often excellent. It's a shame that such great art is saddled with the mostly mediocre of stories...
Satam is fine but overrated by nostalgic older people who loved it as kids back when it was first on. Compared some of the best 90s animated shows of that era, it's not even close to them. It's just a in-name-only animated spin-off that honestly if you strip all of the Sonic related things from it, it further reveals just how mid it is. It's just a series that's been propped up by 90s nostalgia but to me who grew up on that stuff, it's nothing that great.
Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog is fine and in it's own way captures aspects of Sonic and his original influences (albeit his 90s American persona) that actually feels somewhat more respectful in it's own way. Sonic in this feels less like of an obnoxious little jerkass in this compared to him supposedly more "serious" counterpart in Satam (where his snarky tone often clashes with the more serious bent of that show whereas AOSTH, he's yes snarky but in a more cartoonish environment where it feels more appropriate).
Sonic Underground for all of it's issues with it's ugly animation, designs, vapid pop songs, the ridiculous mythos etc is really not that bad. I just think thanks to memes and certain internet "critics", it's become a joke but honestly I believe there's much worse cartoons out there. But it's certainly the weakest Sonic related cartoon to date I'll concede. But you gotta admit, the theme song is one hell of a banger...
But here's the big one and despite what I've said, I believe that pretty much every bit of American Sonic lore (Mobius, chilli dogs, Sonic's Bart Simpson-esque personality and 90s AF catchphrases, the Archie comics, DiC cartoons etc) that has influenced the franchise since should be dropped and consigned to the waste bin of history, finally allowing the games universe to be the defacto one. Blame Sega of America's marketing that whilst it did legitimately made the hedgehog a serious competitor against Nintendo's Mario, I really think we don't need that version anymore especially as aspects of this original American version still inform aspects of Sonic's current characterisation in the West. Watching that terrible Eddie Lebron Sonic fanfilm just put all of that in sharp focus (the scene where "Kintobor" announces to the world that he's rechristened himself as Robotnik because that's his fucking name spelled BACKWARDS is just fucking stupid in so many ways which was derived from that juvenile backstory between Sonic and the evil doctor made for the American lore and was later appropriated by the British Fleetway series) and despite some aspects I'd be willing to personally save (ie Freedom Fighters, Naugus etc), I'd still be willing to throw all of this American lore in the trash otherwise and replace it with the Japanese games lore and recontextualise various aspects that I would save from the original American lore to better fit the games one. This may sound like fanfiction style wish fulfillment but it's something I would consider personally as much as I greatly dislike the American lore, I'd be willing save certain aspects of it that may be applicable to a potential rebooted canon. But otherwise, I'd pretty much stick to the world, lore and characterisations from the Japanese developed games.
And despite the aforementioned American produced cartoons and comics, I'm really not a fan of giving Sonic actual parents and/or siblings. He really doesn't need a mum, a dad, an uncle, a brother and a sister, a queen mum etc. I like the idea (and Sonic's original creator Naoto Ohshima has conceded on Twitter about this) that he's an orphan and still being someone willing help those and with his friends like Tails, Amy, Knuckles and the rest, build a strong personal connection with each of them. It's just another example of the American interpretations trying to create something that I don't think was really needed personally. He doesn't need to have actual hedgehog parents for him to be who he is imho.

Seeing you talk about Movie!Sonic is so funny, because I could blab on for literal hours about how the characterization of Movie!Sonic is so good because he's just a kid and he's still learning and because he was alone for so long he clings to his new family and how his and Tom's relationship is just aadbhalsdjijhde and how he makes so many references because pop culture was all he had for 10 years and how the death of Longclaw still affects him to this day and how he was able to connect with Knuckles on a deeper level because of their shared loss and how he grows and changes through the influence of his parents and brothers and how he lived alone for 10 years surviving by himself and still managed to remain positive and how he purposely didn't run to San Fransisco by himself because he didn't want to leave earth just yet to be even more alone for the rest of his life and how he was able to encourage Tails and immediately adopted him and how he gave up the power of the emeralds to be with his family and how he was ready to KILL Eggman on sight the second the showed back up again and how he grew in between the first and second movie because he's a growing boy and finally has good nutrition and how he's so CUTE and FLUFFY and asdakdsjh
And you're like, "He's so annoying though."
And you know what? Valid. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's all good, on a surface level, I get that the whole "found family" scenario is a cute one.
But as a long time appreciator of this series, it's difficult for me to swallow that while knowing what makes Sonic Sonic is that he's not bogged down by negative emotions or insecurities. At least, not like THIS.
Sonic's someone who isn't bothered by being alone. In fact, he almost enjoys it maybe more than being in crowds. He likes meeting new people and interacting with them but he values his time with himself and just experiencing what life has to offer at his own speed. He was never afraid to explore, to go out into the world and see new horizons no matter what joys or dangers it'll bring.
And let me get even more controversial; I did not care for the owl mom. She had barely any screen time to warm up to her and give her a character beyond "Parental figure who dies in the first five minutes of the movie to garner cheap sympathy points from the audience".
Also why wasn't she.....structured like the usual Sonic character? I...
ogrinfalkn.kfejrnflka;snmkjlsnlsnlsdkadlad
I get there's an "arc" but it's a forced one. They HAD to force it to make him bonding with Tom and Maddie like they're his parents make sense. Again, using contrived plot points to lazily get from point A to point B with the basic structure they copy and pasted from other road trip movies like this. And a "character arc" that also lazily gets thrown on top of it.
I don't know. Cute moments just isn't enough to justify this for me as a viewer. I know this may come off as me being just cynical but it's more that I've been wise to the ways Hollywood uses dirty, cheap tricks to manipulate the audience's emotions to make things seem deeper than it really is. And it's just been getting worse. (especially in MCU movies pheewwwwwwwww)

I made a long list of how similar IDW and NFCV are for me, and in general, I'd say NFCV is IDW but ten times worse - it's just that IDW offends me more personally because Sonic is my franchise.
There are however some things I consider IDW worse for. NFCV has some pretty great fights, for example, the best ones being Trevor vs. Alucard, the gang vs. Dracula, and Trevor vs. Death; I can't think of one fight in IDW that made me go "yoooooooo this is sick <3". But one can say, well it's a different medium, IDW doesn't have animation, it's not fair. True.
I noticed that there is very little discourse on how OOC characters in NFCV are. Mostly it's because NFCV fans rarely are game fans as well lmao, but game fans seem to accept that the characters don't quite have the same personality. It seems to go like this:
yes, this character isn't the same, but it's because the original didn't have much personality in the first place (Trevor: fans really think the dude has zero personality so it doesn't matter if he was written as a stereotypical snarky edgy drunkard. Other examples would be Sypha and Carmilla)
yes, this character isn't the same, and it's a shame because they were cooler in the games (Hector. Yeah, just him. Ironically, as much of a Hector stan I am, I'm also willing to defend his potential in S2 lmao)
yes, this character isn't the same, but good thing because the original sucked (Isaac, which drives me mad because the two Isaacs have nothing in common so why are you even comparing them)
Alucard isn't usually involved in this conversation even though I consider him extremely OOC, but on the other hand, I never see anyone swear that he's IC either. (and no one cares about St. Germain lol)
... and this is the biggest difference with IDW, because fans swear that its Sonic is perfectly in line with his games portrayal. Even though there are game screenshots that directly contradict what he says in the comic. Sonic is a man of few words, IDW Sonic won't shut the fuck up; Sonic's only "principle" is helping people in need but otherwise he does what he wants; IDW Sonic acts as if he's restrained by his own moral code ("I won't sacrifice my principles out of fear"); Sonic won't even consider the idea that Eggman could reform, IDW Sonic believes that brain damage counts as reformation; Sonic lifts Shadow up and reminds him that he saved the world; IDW Sonic taunts Shadow over trying to blow up the planet; Sonic listens to Tails' advice and apologizes when he doesn't, IDW Sonic brushes him off constantly; Sonic doesn't like being called honorifics like Mr. Sonic, IDW Sonic sees nothing wrong with being called "sir" by an obviously traumatized kid... you get the idea.
He's not the only OOC character, of course, because we also have a profoundly stupid Eggman and a rude Shadow and an Amy that flipflops between being a competent leader and a scaredy cat who reliquishes her authority to Jewel, among others.
But, with the sole exception of Shadow whose lousy portrayal is blamed on Mandates, fans seem to really believe there is nothing wrong with anything. Sonic really is a merciful guy who would beg Eggman to come around! He so would stand on a rock spouting his whole life philosophy! Eggman really never has a solid plan! Amy really is that badass (well, yes, she is, but not like that lol)!
So this is what's infuriating. It's not only watching characters you love being bastardized or treated without respect; it's the total dissonance between what you see and what the majority sees, and knowing that this is legitimately influencing fanon's perception of said characters.

About time I tackle it.
I was an early 2000s kid so Dreamcast-Dark eras is my nostalgia for Sonic. However, to tell you the truth, I don’t really miss those times. There were good things but also things that did damage. Adventure? Eggman gets dethroned as Sonic’s main menace until Colors(from the more criticized Meta era). Adventure 2? Kickstarted the ultimate investment of Shadow the Hedgehog which overstayed its welcome into someone else’s anniversary game. Heroes? Limited interactions between characters, trio gimmick, and speed/flight/power system. I haven’t played 06 but it was the final straw for some. Things I’ve seen of 06 rubs me the wrong way but I’ll still play it.
I’m not a fan of Flynn, Stanley or other western influence, but the thing with the franchise is that writers come and go. The direction will be something for awhile then it shifts.
The update 3 for Frontiers definitely isn’t perfect heck I wouldn’t say I had fun the first time around. The trials were hard af even on easy mode, unable to figure out the cyber levels(didn’t finish a single task) and a good chunk of the challenges were very unrewarding by not uncovering much of the map. I didn’t care for Sage but I didn’t hate her either. This isn’t a complaint but more of a comment, the ending was the same (Sonic and friends reunited/saved, Sage returning to Eggman) the way it was shown made it “look” different.
Don’t have much to say about the dialogue, I was paying more attention to the gameplay. I didn’t even run into the (in)famous line by Amy of stating she’s no longer a damsel in distress. I could see how this was upsetting considering her character but given it’s not a recommendation to trigger it in order to progress in the game, it feels like an overreaction.
The main thing I feel was good was being able to play Tails, Knuckles, and Amy again. The controls such as Knuckles gliding were a bit hard, I did wish the hammer was more used in Amy’s moveset but the magical cards were fine, I actually liked how whimsical she looked. Using different music scores for each character was a nice touch and so were the details like how they parry (Amy using her hammer, Tails using a spring, Knuckles using his fists). Another thing that I felt was good from update 3 is that the finale felt like a climatic finale, unlike the original which was a recycled mini game.
I don’t think Frontiers is any more guilty than other installments of the series. Almost every time I see on the internet of people saying “At least *insert other game* did this right/better unlike Frontiers” I just think: you know that other game you uphold also has some issues too right? I see Frontiers doing what those other games did: trying things out. It’s what Sonic Team has always did and will continue to do so.
Despite my mixed feelings about the update as a whole, that doesn’t change the feelings I had while playing the base game which was the majority of Frontiers. Does it have its issues and missed potential? Yes, but so did the games before it. Sonic Frontiers gave me an experience that I will remember fondly.

Note From: Doctor Robert Aster
You should know better than to threaten me, little girl. I am quite smarter than you'll ever be. If you think your little mind games and tricks can work on my children, you're wrong.
My children are not being harmed, and you are quite childish for accusing me of such things. I would rather not waste my breath on someone the likes of you.
Furthermore, on the topic of the movie, many things are up to interpretation. I do not appreciate you stating very clearly that the whole scheme of the criminal was "good at heart" when it's only blatant manipulation.
And Rapunzel must've understood that this "kidnapping" was for her safety. What would the king and queen have done? According to the series, shelter her as well. Gothel was doing her a favor by giving her a proper loving mother and environment away from danger, like all good mothers do. I am a good father to my children, and this disrespect will not be tolerated.
Besides, my kids already know not to trust strangers. Why would they take these "packages" from you if they think it's something dangerous like a bomb? Endangering them would only hurt them further.
I'm sorry for your clear displeasure of me, but this antagonizing must cease.
[photo attached: A pile of burnt dvds of movies]
I will not say this again: Stop giving me your idiotic movies.
Ps. Who is this "Rose" girl and how does she know me?
Dearest Doctor Robert Lucero Aster.
You are quite fascinating. You really are.
I can't wait to watch you lose.
When I choose to get in contact with your children, there is no stopping me. They may be influenced by you, but as I said before. I have my ways.
I love how nonchalant you're being about this whole thing. You claim you've done nothing wrong, but both of us know that isn't true. It's fascinating how thoroughly you can deny the truth. But you've always been good at that, haven't you?
You deluded yourself into thinking Eggman would ever think of you as anything more than an errand boy. That you would ever be his equal. That he would ever take you back.
And then you deluded others. I know you remember them. All of them.
Surge and Kit.
Niko.
Camellia and Kyle.
Damien.
Oh how the mighty have fallen.
Your illustrious self, reduced to this.
You're better than this. I know you are. You know you are. But you'll never change.
You always have to be right. Admitting you were wrong is impossible. Unthinkable.
It's going to be so fun to break you down.
Sincerely,
~ Sky
P.S. Excuse me sir, you're the one who contacted ME. If you wish to avoid getting your feelings hurt, kindly stop sending me messages.
P.P.S. Rose's identity is currently being protected by me and her friends. Though I doubt she'll allow herself to remain unknown forever . . . But it'll be her choice if she wishes to reveal herself.
