ABCDMV Diet Planning: 6 Key Principles for Weight Loss and Healthy Eating
The ABCDMV diet planning method highlights six key principles: sufficiency, balance, calorie control, nutrient density, moderation, and variety for long-term health. When you think of the word “diet,” what comes to mind? For many, it sparks thoughts of rigid rules, food restrictions, and fleeting weight-loss attempts. However, a diet isn’t about temporary measures; it’s simply the sum of what…

are the dogs in your universe colorblind? and if so has that effected the popularity of different dye colors in any way?
The dogs in my universe see the same spectrum of color humans do. This is one of those seemingly small details that would cause big, dominoing changes in their worldview and culture if I altered it, and I feel like it's just not worth the hassle. Dogs in real life see blue, yellow and muted green fine, but red and orange are completely absent, and my art tends to be more warm toned, with recurring reds and oranges.

are amphibians like newts and frogs considered aquatic? i know crustaceans & mollusks would be
Yes they are! Generally, the more time it spends on land, the closer it will be to 5 calories than 4. The estimate was actually based on frogs and tadpoles, I had to make an educated guess.
My best source was a feeding chart from a reptile food website which sells whole small prey for consumption by snakes. It perfectly lists out the values of dozens of small animals, but no fish. So I took a note of the 4 calorie estimate, observed that an adult frog increases in calories compared to tadpoles (bucking the trend with the others on the list where younger animals are worth more caloric value) and went on to do more research
I couldn't find a source that broke down WHOLE prey caloric value like the chart, so I ended up comparing caloric value between rabbit fillets, chicken fillets, and fish fillets on human-centric nutrition websites. My hypothesis was mostly consistent, even with more species added. Fish (perch, flounder, pike) < Wild Mammal (rabbit, squirrel) < Poultry (chicken, turkey, quail). There was overlap between "classes", certain fish getting over the 100 hump, but generally there was a trend I boiled down into 4/5/6
This is consistent with how a lot of fish meat is actually water. In fact, cats quench a lot of their thirst from the food they eat. I also learned some very interesting stuff about the fat distribution in fish which is going to blow a bit of a hole in some of my Clan culture stuff lmaoooo, but I'll furiously swim across that obliterated bridge when I get there
But funfact! Fish oil is rendered fish fats and it is the form that unsaturated fat takes, whereas lard is what saturated fats become. I need to do more research into this topic to understand what kind of difference it would make in a wild cat's diet.
There was one big bucked trend though: salmonid meat was WAAAAY higher in fat and calories. Like, absurdly high. Like 150 cal trout fillet vs 110 cal of rabbit fillet vs 88 cal of perch fillet.
I do not know why that is. My guess is that maybe it's because they were taking the number from farmed salmonids? Maybe it's because they're particularly fatty fish? Perhaps this is just the raw power of salmon slammin'.
Anyway, at one point I was trying to estimate exact caloric value per popular prey species, but decided I didn't have the "backing" to get so exact with the numbers since I was doing estimates with the fish. I'll do the work if it comes down to it, but for now, 4/5/6 is a quick, easy guideline you can use for just about any WC project.

Like. It is a fairly easily confirmed fact that somewhere between "many" and "all" people absorb ideas, prejudices, value judgments, and opinions, especially bigotry, from other people (as opposed to, idk, making it up on their own). And this sticks much more if it's about a marginalized group that is widely considered bad by society at large. And much more if it's coming from a peer than from someone the person can see as Other.
And it is... fucking obvious that people who have absorbed prejudice against themselves and other people with their own characteristics are worse off by far than people who have not done that. They are more prone to depression, self-harm, suicide, etc, for example, as well as probably a large number of less quantifiable problems
(people who absorb prejudice against those who are NOT like them perhaps gain social benefits via ingroup bias but that's beside the point of this post)
So it follows that hating on yourself for having a characteristic or being a member of some social category is directly causing other people like you to absorb this self-hatred, and that these people are directly harmed by that absorption.
This means that posting shit about hating yourself for being whatever-you-are, or desperately trying to avoid becoming whatever-it-is, is causing harm to people who see it
It does not matter if it's a vent or "only about me not anyone else" or whatever, you are obligated to keep that shit to yourself.

Followed some deity advice and now I feel myself with more energy and less pain.
They told me I was obviously dehydrated which caused weakness, stomach problems, pain, inflammation and fatigue. They told me I needed to take more than 32 ounces of water per day (which isn't even enough but was what I taking. They told me take TWICE as much) as well as drink coconut water (at least an additional 8 ounces).
I did that yesterday and even managed to clean up some stuff and move around late last night (after midnight. That damned insomnia came back and filled me with energy.) Felt no nausea or stomach aches.
I was also told to avoid fried foods and to add more fruit and fiber in my diet. I've done that and now my stomach isn't as upset after every meal like before.
I also have to avoid potatoes and rice. My family swears that rice cause no issues but ever since I took rice out of my diet a couple of days agon along with potatoes and overly salty foods my symptoms lessened considerably.
Still am weak as shit though. I have a lot of altar dust which I plan to turn into black salt to eventually to put in a cleansing spray. I need to at least energy cleanse my floors with some cleaning concoctions (cinnamon purification helps a bit. I also use witchhazel to wipe down surfaces).
But I'm still not in a good enough state to do all that right now and they thankfully understand and I was told so. To not worry too much cos also stressing and letting my blood pressure rise sadly helped contribute to my inflammation and that causes me even more body pains.
So to fellow witches out there, don't fear asking your deities for guidance even during extreme illness. I made that mistake because I didn't want to overstep but it turns out they're always ready to help especially if you can channel them to hear them as clearly as any person.
I mentioned this before in my witchy blog cos I made a mistake of never asking for help either from deities or actual people. (My family hates that I don't ask for help 90% of the time. I actually hate asking for help 😭. I don't like burdening others. Its embarrassing and I don't want to annoy my closest ones. Ugh.)

The fact tea doesn’t count as hydrating to the “drink water” crowd despite just being water with an itsy bitsy bit of flavor kind of just makes it feel like they think hydration has to be an act of suffering in order to be valid
