I really want to finish my new gothic horror/romance radioapple fic (tentative title "Don't You Look Good In Red") but I can't until I've found a series name. I'm driving myself crazy looking through old gothic novels for anything suitable, knowing deep down I'm going to end up taking the name from like a Fall Out Boy song or something. The utter disappointing predictability of it all...

2. Had food poisoning

1 made me so mentally satisfied while simultaneously feeling physically ill and puking from 2 that it gave me whiplash. I've never been so elated while sick.

Tech-ology Volume II Story 10 - "The Clanking"

Inspired by Edgar Allen Poe's 'The Raven,' a Star Wars Bad Batch adaptation, for some spooky October reading.

Once upon a Kamino dreary, while it stormed so bleak and bleary, Tech's eyes intently over his updated datapad pored. His deviant mind clearly thinking, 'til there was a sudden clinking, Dashboard lights bright and blinking, and clinking he could not ignore. “'Tis just the Marauder creaking causing the clanking at the cockpit door. Just outgassing, nothing more.”

basically Poe asks our bestie Landor about his daughter. We later learn (spoilers i apologize) that Landors daughter, Mattie, passed away through suicide after she was assualted. now she was not nessarily sane at this point (i lack the right vocabulary to say this, i mean it in a non derogatory way of course) ANYWAYS!! so Landor has been lying and told poe that she ran off with someone.

poe asks “someone you knew?” and Landor responds “in passing.” NOW. now you could read this as just lying, like a simple response to add to his story BUT!!! if you think about it, mattie ran away with DEATH, not just death but with suicide. if you think about this, Landor is saying he knew suicide “in passing” or you could even read that he knew the headspace mattie was in that drove her to death. therefore: Landor has felt depression similar to hers not only now (which is obvious) but before mattie died!!!

this shows that his fatherly love for mattie was helping him mentally to cope with his depression, but it also adds so many layers to their relationship ontop of the little we got to see because they only had so much screentime!!! landor gets a backstory that spans even farther back than matties death. i think it can also be interpreted as him being a survivor of assault aswell, adding to his anger and need for revenge on those who hurt mattie.
