There is something so funny to me about, how like...
Like when Oda fully revealed Crocodile to us for the first time at the begining of the Alabasta Arc, although we already knew he was just a dastardly evil bastard trying to usurp the country... When we first actually saw him, what did we see him as?
The Hero of Alabasta. Protecting the people of Nanohana from pirates pillaging the town.
Compare that to when Crocodile makes his way to Emptee Bluffs. When an unknown force started taking down the Marine battleships that had come to fetch Buggy, what did Buggy have to say about it?
Sidenote: Now you wouldn't be able to tell based on the English translation, but when watching the anime I was delighted to hear Buggy use the term "seigi no mikata" (正義の味方), literally "ally of justice", in this scene. Like "hero" is a perfect translation to use here, it rolls of the tongue better etc, but, I dunno. There's something extra about Buggy not just saying "hero" but "a hero of justice" when refering to someone going against the fucking Marines lmao
Of course, it is a funny gag to have Buggy go from "oh, my saviour <3" to "oh shit oh god oh fuck it's Crocodile oh no god have mercy on my wretched soul" in just mere seconds.
But there is a part of me that looks at this a little like
Like realistically, this is probably nothing. But my brain is fried and I can't help but to wonder if this repetition of Crocodile being introduced as a "hero (with a twist)" has something more to it. The OG introduction was "this 'hero' is actually an evil bastard in disguise (no surprise)", so could the re-introduction be the reverse of that? "This evil bastard is actually going to be our hero (a twist)"?

Alisae Owns Zenos Retranslation
Here is my retranslation from Jpn -> Eng for Zenos's appearance in Garlemald during the Final Days in Endwalker. There are quite a lot of things the localisers left out? And Alisaie's advice to him seemed much... nicer?
Alphinaud: What on earth do you want with us now?
Zenos: I saw a type of beast I had never seen before, therefore I tried slaying it… however, it was weak. Something like this would never help my training.
Alisaie: Did you say “training”?? Don’t tell me that with everything going on you are still thinking about a rematch?!?
Zenos: I only reclaimed this life for the sake of a rematch. There is nothing else I would devote this life of mine to…… (Zenos turns to the WoL) However, even now you are still only looking at a different prey. That passion does not extend to me…Having said that, it also seems I cannot force it to, neither through rage nor despair. So, I just sharpen my fangs. This is all I can do now.
Jullus: You bastard, what the hell are you saying?? Garlemald is broken… our fatherland… the very land you and yours rule! The city has become like this… so many have died. If only it was just soldiers in the civil war like us, but instead how many civilians do you think have also perished?? Falling to madness and killing friends and family alike, and those spared the madness left to freeze to death in the snow! I heard from my contingent that this was all your doing! Is that true?! And if so, why??
Zenos: Yes, it is all true. And looking at it now, it was all for nothing,
Jullus: ZENOS----- YOU BASTARD!!!!
Alphinaud: Jullus, don’t! Please calm down! I’m not saying this for Zenos’s sake, please control your anger for your sake! In this calamity if you get overtaken by strong negative emotions, you might turn into a beast as well. So please!
Zenos: …would it be better if I had a reason?
Jullus: What did you say…?
Zenos: If I had a good enough reason for doing this, you could forgive everything you see in front of you, is that what you are saying? If so than you are all truly pathetic beasts… only fit to ever be preyed upon. Everything in this world is always being explained away to us for someone’s convenience. For any reason or moral pretext, even Good and Evil are made up. Inside of the Garlemald empire, you would have surely seen it over and over? In the middle of crushing each other, what is “right” being switched around? Or even the reality, that the “justice” that the populace triumphantly raised up turned out to be naught but incited by a plot. So why are you even asking me this now? It’s simply absurd.
Zenos: What’s the use of asking others for a reason that explains reality in a way you can accept? Even if you asked to the ends of the earth and heavens what you would hear would only be someone’s own convenient answer. It is only you yourself that can give meanings and answers to everything life has laid down for you. So, if your answer is to draw your sword, I will use my own answer, and take you as fodder for my training.
Jullus: …Your mere existence is poison to the Garlean people. It makes me want to take my rage and sorrow out and beat it all into you. But as Alphinaud has said, if that would do naught but be the trigger for more tragedy… I don’t want to lose any more of my brothers because of you! Be gone with you! And never again show your face in front of my brethren!
Alisaie: ……Zenos! Your way of living is indeed strong. I’ll even admit that you made some good points. However, if you keep hurting people by living that way, you will forever be alone. No matter if it’s a rematch or anything else, you won’t be able to have it. When you want something from someone, instead of just thinking of your own fun, you have to think of a way you can both can enjoy it. If you can’t understand a simple thing like that, go ahead and be rejected by everyone forever!
Extra: The Hanging Gardens Scene
English:
That night, Ala Mhigo, the Hanging Gardens
Zenos: If you want something from someone… You must not only consider your own enjoyment… huh. When we had our showdown here, what was it… that I sought from you? What was it… that you sought from me?

There Is No Such Thing As Justice With Chainsaw Man
正義の味方: the Ally of Justice. This is a concept that runs through Japanese hero stories, from cop dramas to Kamen Rider and now to Chainsaw Man. It begins in 1958 with the mysterious figure of Moonlight Mask.
Moonlight Mask (月光仮面) is Japan’s first Superhero Tokusatsu (practical effects based film such as Ultraman, Kamen Rider, Godzilla, etc.) The series follows a simple formula, one of the “Skull Masks,” a group of international spies that wears well…skull masks, will be running some evil scheme in their effort to acquire the “Joe-engine Bomb,” a secret weapon developed by Japanese scientists.
When the Skull Masks’ villainous ways put innocents in danger, there appears the masked man, Ally of Justice, Moonlight Mask, riding on his motorcycle, with automatic pistol in hand. He only shoots to disarm, never to kill, forgives his enemies and never takes a life. He uses his superhuman (?) strength to protect the weak.
One interesting aspect of Moonlight Mask is that no one, not even the audience, has the hero’s hidden identity confirmed. It is implied through the storytelling that the great detective Juurou and Moonlight are one and the same, but even the credits don’t reveal his identity: Moonlight, played by “?”
This concept of Justice — a faceless, benevolent protector — is the foundation of Japanese super hero stories. You can see its influence in the Kamen Rider, Super Sentai and Sailor Moon, and you can see it’s negation in Chainsaw Man.
Denji is notable amongst Shonen heroes for his unclear ethics. More than his unfiltered sexuality, his lack of education or his meager material conditions, this is what makes him especially relatable.
Other heroes in the Moonlight Mask tradition are driven by a particular sense of morality, of Justice, and they act to protect that idea of what is right and wrong. But the rules they are bound by exist beyond the law and order of civil society. Moonlight Mask never kills, not because killing is illegal, but because it is wrong. His motto: “Don’t hate, don’t kill, forgive.”
Denji does not have a meaningful code. Nor does he have a particularly meaningful dream. His goals are mundane and his morality is common. He doesn’t want to hurt people, he doesn’t want to let them die, and he is kind. But this isn’t motivated by a coherent philosophy. And it doesn’t spur him to action. It is, if anything, a point of confusion.
This makes Denji realistic, because individuals rarely have a coherent ethical system by which they evaluate their choices. People make the choices that they do because of who they are, whether those choices are coherent or not. Choices aren’t computations or evaluations, they are the endpoints of a story.
This is Fujimoto’s brand of existentialism, not unlike Kierkegaard’s, but with less freedom. Denji creates the meaning of his existence from what he sees around him — he decides his own dreams — but this doesn’t grant him the sublime freedom to take a leap of faith. Rather, it is an act of necessity, something that you cannot help but do. You need to dream to keep moving forward.
Ethics, then, is not a dispassionate evaluation, but an encounter between a person’s intrinsic drive for a better life and the reality of the world. Regardless of choices being right or wrong, people still do what they do for reasons rooted in the life they have lived. This is the reality of how choices are made, rather than an ideal designed for passing judgement.
On the contrary, the villains in Chainsaw Man are exactly those people who believe that they can pass judgement. The Allies of Justice are not heroes who protect the weak, they are villains who use their moral code to justify selfish action. And that is the root of evil: they are dishonest with their selfish life.
Yuko is an example of this. Yuko wants to save Asa because she wants to be seen as a hero, like Chainsaw Man, but she justifies it by casting herself as an Ally of Justice, a protector of the weak, like Moonlight Mask. Unlike Moonlight Mask, she doesn’t follow some abstract code. Her inflated ego leads her to justify violence, and ultimately transforms her into a devil.
Asa, on the other hand, is genuinely selfish in her actions. She makes choices based on what she wants to be right, regardless of the outcome. She doesn’t hide her selfish intent behind a moral excuse; she is selfishly moral: she acts as she wants the world to be, rather than giving in to what it is.
This is closer to Kierkegaard, but again, there is no faith. Asa doesn’t have to believe the world is good. This is the selfish aspect. She decides what the good choice is based on her moral intuition, then tries to make that real, even if it is a risk. This is Fujimoto’s heroism: the bravery to be wrong.
This Justice, this heroism, is consistent but dependent. It’s not the same as relativism because Yuko was wrong. She wasn’t being honest with her dreams. She was selfish, but not living selfishly.
This is why there is no Justice with Chainsaw Man. Because what is right isn’t about an abstract Justice which you defend. The hero isn’t a faceless detective, stripped of his name, who appears from the shadows the save you from a similarly faceless evil. The hero is just a kid, just some girl, just a person who has lived a life which has led to a moment, and in that moment makes a choice, adds to their story.
Chainsaw Man isn’t a story with Justice, it is a story about Justice. A story about how Justice is created in the search for happiness. And right now, Denji has lost his drive. He has lost sight of who he wants to be — which is good to some degree, as he l still clings to sexual impulse — but has yet to discover what good he wants to create, what he wants to believe the world should be.
There is No Justice With Chainsaw Man
Yet.

"'I'm just a cog' An analysis into the curious ideology of unclear justice and the real world parallels and questions it poses"
どっちつかずの正義 or Dotchitsukazu no Seigi, literally translating to unclear justice is one of the marine ideologies I have been curious about since we are introduced to the various marines and their mottos. It provides a curious introspective into this enigmatic character
On closer look, there is a sense of irony in Kizarus character. He is a light man, but is slow in his mannerisms. He shines brightly but prefers to stay hidden. He's the most proactive admiral but also hates the toll of work the most out of all
Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 All these serve to make him difficult to read. However, in between the moral justice of the likes of an aokiji and the extreme absolute justice of an Akainu, there is something terrifying about that Grey area in between and brings up a long debated sociological topic Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 the numenberg trials, involving the trial of a lot of high ranking nazi generals , consisted of a lot of individuals claiming that they were not truly evil. Most famously Adolf eichmann, who did not deny his place in the holocaust, however used the excuse that he was simply a cog Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 In theory, this would make sense, as the superiors such as Hitler would hold higher responsibility for the orders. But then you wonder, would this individual admit to their acts being deplorable if they had lost? Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 Coming back to one piece, it goes to what doflamingo says about the prevalence of justice and how justice is decided by the winners
This therefore makes the just following orders people the most disturbing of all, as they seem to only tip to the side that seems to be favorable at the time Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 Now coming back to Kizaru, we see that he has many sociopathic traits. In his first appearance, in trying to kill a couple of pirates who attacked him, he destroys a couple of civilian blocks, possibly killing several civilians in the process, but not particularly caring.
Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 When it comes to Kizaru, I think there are many inferences we can come to. Kizaru is certainly aware of the corruption and issues of the world government. He is strongly aware of what they do and those they wrong. However he chooses to overlook them. Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 Why you may ask? Because making a change in the world requires terrifying amount of ambition, grit and pain. Someone like aokiji has completely detached from the navy and even become a criminal, because it gives him the platform to stand for what he believes in.
Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 Akainu fights aokiji, someone who he actually holds respect for, to near death, so he can become the fleet admiral and make his own vision of the marine force. These two individuals have something they believe in and fight for. Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 However Kizaru, to me, is one of one piece examples of textbook sociopathy. He knows what the world is, and unlike someone like smoker, has the power to make a stand, but doesn't, because it is convenient for him.
Phantom @ThePhantomStra5
Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 The world government, with the marines as their face, have ruled the world for at least 800 years. They have determined what it means to be 'good' or 'evil' for all this time because they are the ones that reign Supreme. As such, Kizaru just aligns with them.
Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 It is scary to have someone like this, because like any sociopath, they hold little empathy and hold few genuine allegiances. We can see how Kizaru is more than willing to kill Dr vegapunk and sentomaru, who are like family to him.Or when he has no qualms with nearly killing Drake
Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 He is a symbol for the deep darkness in the human heart. If given the shadow of someone, humans are capable of all types of horror. The lack of hesitation to end human life or to show empathy on the basis of a 'higher power', is one flaw that has existed throughout human history Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 This is why Kizaru is the admiral for instance, sent to saboady. He is more so a weapon than he is an actual individual. But weapons are unstable and it is curious to see how Kizaru responds in a situation where the world government no longer hold the major initiative.
· Aug 3 Overall, in Kizaru, I see a man who in his attempt to find freedom in an oppressed world, has dulled his empathy and fully committed to being a cog in a working machine, rather than the wheel that spurs the cycle of change.
Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 There is a popular saying, with great power comes great responsibility. Kizaru as a character could be seen as a real world introspective. Many of us have the power to do something, be greater and be better. But we choose not to, because it will cause us some discomfort.
Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 Dissimilarly though, he is also an introspective into a sociopath, a deeply self centered man, who is given a platform to act freely, while not having to take responsibility for their actions or draw any major attention, because they hide themselves as part of a larger group. Phantom @ThePhantomStra5 · Aug 3 Now this thread was not to tell you that he is evil or something. Clearly Kizaru does have some sense of morality. However it is his reason for enforcing said 'justice', along with his general apathy towards certain factors that make him a sociopath.
this adds to the idea of sanji vs kizaru since kizaru is a soldier who just follows orders like the germa 66 guys a sociopath

Continuing from my previous post, actually, there is an official book of Yu-Gi-Oh!, named 'the Gospel of Truth'. Yami Yugi(Atem) is called '悪を裁く正義の番人' in this book. It means 'the guardian of justice who judges evil'.
(Ah~I'm a beginner in Japanese, but I managed to understand this book, and these few words were easy to grasp~)
The book introduces other characters, some of whom have faced consequences for their actions. Atem's Mind Crush doesn't harm lives but rather immerses wrongdoers in their own delusions until they overcome their evil thoughts.
This is also the author's original vision for creating Atem: He is called the Game King not just because of his wonderful game skills, but also because he upholds justice, protects vulnerable groups, and has been saving the innocent ever since his sacrifice for the Egyptian 3000 years ago.

Cursed Ashiya Sword /
The Cursed Ashiya Sword is a powerful blade with a high Critical stat at the cost of draining the wielder's hit points. The name Ashiya is likely derived from Ashiya Dōman (JP: 蘆屋道満), a practitioner of Onmyōdō (JP: 陰陽道)—a form of divination based around astronomy, calendars and directions with roots in Chinese philosophy and spirituality. Onmyōdō also was regularly interpreted as a form of sorcery called jujutsu (JP: 呪術), and was extended in various stories as allowing the transmutation of objects and animals. During the Heian period (roughly the tenth century), Dōman was the rival to the most famous onmyōji, Abe no Seimei, who served the emperors of the time. Dōman regularly attempted to thwart the younger Seimei to make him less appealing and claim his titles. This dynamic between the two brought upon them the nicknames 悪の道満 (rōmaji: aku no dōman) "Evil Dōman" and 正義の晴明 (rōmaji: seigi no seimei) "Righteous Seimei." Eventually, Dōman lost in a magician's duel against Seimei, and he was banished to Harima Province.
In Japanese, the Cursed Ashiya Sword is called 妖刀アシュラ (rōmaji: yōtō ashura) typically translated as "Bewitching Sword Ashura". The word 妖刀, while literally meaning "a sword with mysterious charm" refers to the common trope of a cursed magical sword that exudes an odd aura. This originates from the legends surrounding swords forged by the famous Muramasa school of swordsmiths. Their swords were known for bein exceptionally crafted and incredibly sharp; such quality attracted the interest of Mikawa Province and Tokugawa Ieyasu, founder of the Tokugawa shogunate. However, a series of misfortune soured the Muramasa name across Japan. Across the span of one hundred years, multiple members of the Tokugawa family were harmed or killed by crafts bearing the Muramasa name. Because of this, it was said that Tokugawa Ieyasu banned the use of Muramasa blades. Though this prohibition is most certainly tall-tale, it did not stop the sullying of the Muramasa school with stories of their weapons being cursed. These went so far as to claim Muramasa blades were bloodthirsty monstrosities, created by an insane swordsmith, that could not be sheathed unless it has spilled blood. Some even said the swords would drive men to murder or taking their own lives. These legends are reflected in the Cursed Ashiya Sword's stats and self-damaging properties.
As for the actual name in the sword, the Japanese アシュラ ashura is typically used to refer to the asura, a type of demigod that originates in Hindu folklore that was adopted into Buddhism. Though the asura were not considered purely evil entities, the name often connotates unpleasant characteristics. In Buddhism, they reside in the Kāmadhātu, the "desire realm", chase vices and addictions far easier, are easily corrupted, and have frequently been referred as "demons." In Hinduism, many gods, including Indra and Agni, have been called asura; however, it is suggested that during the war between Indra and Vritra, the asura that sided with good were elevated to the status of Deva, while the rest that joined evil would keep the asura name. It is likely for this demonic association the asura carry that gave their name to the sword-equivalent of a Devil Axe.

JEFFREY SACHS: "I want to take it back to the 1840s, to the real roots of hegemony, which is Great Britain. Never was there a hegemon with such ambition and such a curious view of the world. But Britain wanted to run the world in the 19th century and taught America everything it knows. Recently, I read a fascinating book by a historian named J.H. Gleason, published by Harvard University Press in 1950. It's an incredibly interesting book called 'The Genesis of Russophobia in Great Britain.' The question is, where did England's hate of Russia come from? Because it's actually a little surprising. Britain has HATED Russia since the 1840s and launched the Crimean War that was a war of choice in modern Parliament—a war of choice by Palmerston in the 1850s—because it hated Russia. So, this author tries to understand where this hate came from, because it was the same kind of iterative hate that we have now. And by the way, we hated the Soviet Union because it was Communist, but we hated Russia afterwards when it wasn't communist. It doesn't matter. So, it's a deeper phenomenon, and he tries to trace where this hatred came from. The fascinating point is, Russia and Britain were on the same side in the Napoleonic Wars from 1812 to 1815, from the Battle of Moscow in Russia to Napoleon's defeat in Waterloo. They were on the same side, and in fact, for many years, the relations weren't great, but they were kind of normal. So, this historian reads every snippet of the newspapers, what's written, of the speeches, to try to understand where the hatred arose. The key point is there was no reason for it. There was nothing that Russia did. Russia didn't behave in some perfidious way. It wasn't Russian evil; it wasn't that the tsar was somehow off the rails. There wasn't anything except a self-fulfilling lather built up over time because Russia was a big power and therefore an affront to British hegemony. This is the same reason why the US hates China: not for anything China actually does but because it's big. It's the same reason, until today, that the United States and Britain hate Russia—because it's big. So, the author comes to the conclusion that the hate really arose around 1840 because it wasn't instantaneous, and there was no single triggering event. The British got it into their crazy heads that Russia was going to invade India through Central Asia and Afghanistan—one of the most bizarre, phony, wrongheaded ideas imaginable—but they took it quite literally. And they told themselves this: 'We're the imperialists. How dare Russia presume to invade India?' when it had no intention of doing so. So, my point is, it's possible to have hate to the point of war and now to the point of nuclear annihilation for no fundamental reason. Talk to each other."

If Ingo and Emmet were to get sent into the Submasverse where they meet different variants of themselves like they see twin fighting robots who say they defeated Dr Wily and they see another twin where they have dna altering watches and twin bug eyed kindergarteners with powers you name it, The Ingo and Emmet variants say that Giovanni is going in diffrent worlds and teamed up with various villains from their worlds and they need all the Ingos and Emmets they can find, What do you think of idea?
Thank you for your message! I received almost identical messages at 16:25 on 6th August ,4:00 and 5:16 on 7th August (all in JST), so I will reply to them all together. We also apologise if our replies are off the mark due to differences in language nuances.
All of the ideas you mentioned are interesting, but all of them are difficult for me to imagine. This is because, as I answered in the previous question, I focus on the official setting and try not to deviate from it as much as possible in my secondary works. Also, and I think this is also about the definition of justice, but I don't think they deviate from their 'allies', at least from our point of view. Or if it comes down to the railway and battles they love… but I think the LA example shows that they will never deviate from a position where they can stand by their Pokémon. *I only know stories about Red and Green, Gold and Silver, Sword and Shield, Scarlett and Violet, so I have to change my mind if there are stories where they are in an evil position as a result of being close to Pokémon. I imagine that Sun and Moon falls into that category, but I haven't played it yet, so I don't know.

The fluorescent light of the monitors coldly illuminates the dark, seemingly cold room. The only decoration are ventilation pipes on the ceiling and several cables on the floor. On small tables are tabletts full of scalpells and syringes .
The noises of the monitoring devices, which monitor and document the vital condition of the young, severely injured girl and sound the alarm if her condition should deteriorate, sound monotonous.
Karin carefully monitors the condition of Sasuke's daughter.
She remembers a promise, she once made to Sakura. Karin should protect Sarada instead of Sakura in case Sakura cannot be there for Sarada and the moment has come in the last few weeks. Not for a moment did she leave the girl except for her own needs and necessities.
"She will survive, Karin. Please don't worry too much. She is Sasuke's daughter. Have you forgotten that?” Suigetsu appears behind her back. He tries to calm Karin and puts a hand on her shoulder.
Karin looks wearily into her companion's eyes and gives him a weak smile. The constant, continuous application of chakra to stabilize Sarada's circulation gradually saps her strength.
"Shit, Karin! You need to rest and eat something! Otherwise you'll soon be lying next to her! Even Orochimaru is starting to worry about both of you,” he tells her worriedly.
"I can't really imagine, that this crazy bastard cares about Sarada's condition," Karin says wearily to Suigetsu.
"He asks about you two every day and if Sarada is making progress, that's more he's capable of. He's got his hands full with Mitsuki ” replies her friend.
"And why didn't he come here once?" If he were to worry about her condition as badly as you say,” Karin replies exhaustedly, “without me she would have been dead long ago and he wouldn’t care much.”
"Karin, you know that what you're talking about isn't true. Orochimaru tries everything to revive Mitsuki. Should Sarada wake up before him or, in the worst case, learn of Mitsuki's passing, Sarada's path could be massively affected, which Sasuke is trying to prevent with all his might.
Should Mitsuki die, Sarada will have lost everyone who was important to her in her life. You know how the genes of the Uchiha's work and it would be like wiping out the Uchiha's like Sasuke did in his childhood. We don't yet know how she will react to the death of her own mother, ”he explains to her.
Karin holds Sarada's hand hoping it will change something about her condition. The young girl has been asleep for 8 weeks, longer than Orochimaru predicted. 8 long weeks in which nobody knows if she will ever wake up again. Maybe her brain has been damaged and she will recover. Trapped in an eternal sleep...
Sasuke had to leave her to give his beloved Sakura a proper burial and create a place for him and Sarada.
Sasuke, where are you? Sarada needs you, Karin thinks worried about Sasuke. Not for her own sake, but for Sarada's sake.
“Mama….., Papa……” says Sarada weakly.
"Is she waking up?" Suigetsu asks hopefully.
Karin just shakes her head exhaustedly, "she's dreaming..." and looks at the sleeping girl.
Her healing eye socket is connected and covered by a section of her hair. Her hair, which was black and silky until a few weeks ago, now looks shaggy and dull.
Suigetsu watches Sarada's hand stroking Karin's cheek, "Please don't cry for me... I'm still here..." Index and middle fingers move up Karin's forehead and tap it lightly.
"The Uchiha's farewell greeting, which is like a kiss goodbye," explains Karin wearily, "I saw it once between Sasuke and Sarada when Sarada was still very small. Her mother explained this gesture to me.”
Suigetsu gets goosebumps at this observation, "who does she mean?"
Karin shrugs, "It can basically be anyone who is close to her...But most likely the one who saw Sarada's accident," Karin looks back at Sarada's vital signs, which are stable. Perhaps she should listen to Suigetsu's objection and take a short break.
"So Sasuke himself?" Her interlocutor says.
"Or Sarada's teammate that Sasuke was talking about," comments Karin.
"Must be an important person for Sarada if she bestows this gesture on this person. Maybe Boruto?” Suigetsu asks, “As far as I know, they were kind of like siblings.”
" No, she tried to say his name at the very beginning and it wasn't Boruto. But Sasuke didn't want to mention the name in front of Sarada," Karin explains thoughtfully.
"Typical Sasuke. His pride as a father was apparently hurt that Sarada might have found a boyfriend,” he grins at Karin and winks at her.
Karin's cheeks get very warm. "Come on, let's go get something to eat. You need to bolster your power reserves," Suigetsu suggests, "and Sarada's condition won't change anytime soon."
“Well, it won't hurt to leave her camp for 10 minutes. At least her vital condition has become stable for some time," Karin replies and accepts Suigetsu's suggestion and takes her companion's arm and links her arm with him. Tired, she lays her head on his shoulder. Both go out to eat something together and don't get the next events.
In the here and now, reality blurs around the newly formed Eye of Sarada, just as her father felt not long ago when he traveled to protect his family and home village from danger.
Until then, she disappears unconscious and tears through time and space for the first time, leaving only her bandage as a farewell...
She thinks she is dreaming and hears soft sobbing in the distance. She lies in the arms of the person she does not know. She would love to take that person's pain away.
Slowly, she gives the person the Uchiha farewell they only give to loved ones who are very close.
" Do not cry! I'm still here..." she hears herself saying. Her vision is obstructed and she cannot see who they are, much less remember them, and then reality tugs at her bones and guts like a wild predator...
With a hard thump, Sarada awakens on her back on the cold floor of a huge roof attached to an even bigger cage. The sign of the Rinnegan is clearly drawn on the roof.
Confused and dazed, she gazes up at a surreal yellow sky that stings her eyes. No sun is visible that could be responsible for this color. Cold gray mountains surround her.
Exhausted, she holds a hand on her healed eye, she hasn't noticed any particular change yet, except that she perceives a more precise range of vision, but she thinks she's imagining it.
"What happened? Where am I?” she wonders. She slowly gets to her feet and is amazed at her clothes. Dressed only in a light blue surgical shirt, which is similar to a nightgown except that it is open at the back.
Sarada notices her usual drowsiness after using a lot of chakra and has to take a deep breath. Then it comes up in her and she has to vomit coughing.
Exhausted, she wipes the thread of saliva from her mouth. She didn't know this symptom herself until now and she berates herself for it.
"Don't be so pathetic, Sarada. If you want to become the next Hokage in the future, you have to finally become stronger," she says to herself, "You mustn't lag behind Boruto and... Kawaki", at Kawaki's name a strange melancholy comes out of her.
Oh yes. I never got a real answer from him after I gave him the lavender bouquet. Instead, he wanted to challenge me to this stupid sparring match. Sarada, let it be. That won't work anyway... , are her thoughts.
A spooky discovery distracts her from her depressing thoughts.
On closer inspection of the mountains that point sharply into the sky. As if cutting straight into it, she realizes that they are actually huge tablets of stone.
Four huge cryptic figures are recognizable, 2 figures are destroyed.
Sarada realizes that it must be the heads of the dreaded Otsukis, because Momoshiki has seen them before. Back then, 2 years ago, in her first chunnin exam, she saw these creepy creatures and it brought chaos and death with two other Otsukis.
She received some information from her father about these creatures and learned that Momoshiki lives on in Boruto.
Boruto has been under Sasuke's watch ever since, to intervene in an emergency to prevent innocents from suffering or even dying while others such as the 7th Hokage and the team at the Science Institute seek a cure for Boruto.
"What is this spooky place?" she wonders.
Another realization shocks her.
Beneath one of these sculpted faces, she discovers a person she knows very well, lying on a couch surrounded by an energy shield.
She would recognize the person dressed in purple through and through anywhere.
It's her friend and class president, Sumire.
It seems as if she is asleep, her Nue is curled up asleep on her stomach. A large, gaping wound is clearly visible on her chest.
"What happened to you, class representative?" she asks her worriedly and wants to put a hand on the energy shield to calm her, but then gets distracted.
As if on command, an unknown gate appears nearby, which has merged with its surroundings, out of nowhere.
What is this place? Sarada thinks uncertainly and senses that she is in imminent danger.
She quickly disappears to the next hill to observe her counterpart, but at the same time to be able to hide from discovery.
Her best friend appears from the dimensional gate. Everywhere she would recognize this always laughing blond boy with his black brand sports suit.
Boruto?, comes the frightened thought.
Between running towards him beaming with joy or watching him, she chooses the 2nd option.
Her friend tenderly strokes the energy shield that surrounds Sumire and she must hear something shocking.
Sarada will never forget that booming voice she heard after the Battle of Boro.
"The lad made an agreement with me. I know a way to save you brat. For that he leaves himself and I can go on in this pathetic bodycontinue to exist...", it seems strange. Simultaneously Boruto's gesture towards Sumire and hearing that menacing voice.
Then she hears a cruel booming scream that goes to her core. She covers her ears in pain, but still feels Boruto levitate toward the creature trapped in red chains that is trying to bite him. The creature looks grotesque with lots of spikes, huge jaws and a monstrous Rinnegan.
What is this beast? , she wonders.
"Nue's chakra is still connected with you after all the thousands of years with the entered owner. What an irony that it led me to you 10th.
Now all I have to do is to sacrice Ishiki's vessel and I'll get the chakra fruit..." Sarada hears more and more, what Momoshiki's voice says.
At the same moment, the small part of Boruto's soul that still seems to be the old Boruto makes itself felt.
It's as if there are two different voices in one body: "No, that wasn't agreed upon, Momoshiki and besides, I could never kill my brother for Sumire. She would never have wanted that..."
Then that dark laugh from Momoshiki.
He makes fun of Boruto: "Lad, you have nothing more to report from on. You have given away all responsibility to me. Just sleep!”
Boruto's response follows by poking out his right eye with a kunai, which has been glowing strangely since Boruto's appearance.
"Boruto!" she says, quietly startled and at the same time keeps her mouth shut.
Are you tired of life? she scolds herself, do you want to die? She remembers her speach with her father one evening before her 2nd chunnin exams.
You can't leave dad alone with the task.. This is your chance to attack him now. He must be severely weakened now.
"Who was that?" she hears Momoshiki say.
Damned!!! He heard my thoughts. Trembling, she begins the signs of her Chidori.
"Sarada! Get out of here! He's too strong for you!!!" Boruto's voice screams. Sarada sees the body searching for her and soon it has found her.
Sarada is too scared to finish her Chidori because it would mean saying goodbye to Boruto forever.
Pictures of her childhood and her Genin time with him come up. She always had to protect him from any nonsense, mostly encouraged by Mitsuki. Both boys often agreed and she was the only sane one until Kawaki came to her aid and often agreed.
If I end it now, there will never be another chance to save him like the 7th and Sumire wanted. You are too weak, Sarada. You will be the most miserable Hokage...
"I've got you!" and Momoshiki grabs her throat and squeezes. That chocking pain on her neck takes her breath. Closing her eyes in pain and desperately hoping the Otsutki won't figure out her secret that she's one of the last two Uchiha's when he does not already know .
Boruto's sight is terrible with the right eye socket bleeding. She cannot see the deep blue eye anymore. She will never be able to forget this sight.
"Let her go! Shitty, Otsutki!!!“, she hears Boruto say and pushes away with one arm, the other arm so that Sarada is dropped.
Sarada has to snap after air and hear her best friend leading an inner fight with himself. Sarada can only get up slowly and starts running on the edge of the abyss. She has no possibility, here.
Either the 10‘th eats her or Momoshiki grabs her with uncertain output, which fate awaits her. Then it will be better to be eaten!, she thinks and jumps in her own ruin. But what possibility does she already have?
In a destroyed village:
Chained is the boy on the huge four-poster bed in one of the little vacant rooms of the institute. Chains that would not stop the boy. However, the puppeteer and her crazy little brother would do that.
He has been with them for several weeks and now he tries to get along with both. He is caught by invisible chains.
Chains that are as a symbol of the remaining survivors of Konoha, among other things, to protect his care sister foster mother in front of this puppeteer. In the last few weeks, he saw his little sister once and she was cold dismissed with the words: "The devils should get you come."
He was so terribly sorry to see her with tears in her eyes. "But I only have you and mother since dad and Boruto ...", her words were to him. More contact the puppeter does not allow him, otherwise the villagers would get under her influence and her insane brother will do them bad things, as he once saw to show as an example.
The urge to protect everyone he had learned from his 1st friend. The village must be protected by all it costs, he had learned from her.
He was ripped from her as her dying body lay in his arms and he lost consciousness. The only reminder he has from her is her red head band, which he wears on his neck. The brother of the puppeteer tried to pull it of from his neck and the boy hit his hand away with the knowing, that he will be punished like his first master did to him years ago.
"Brother! Don't put your hands on him and don't destroy his beautiful face. I want, that he will put this cloth off on his own free will. Give him time!", told the puppeteer. "As you wish, sis...", said this crazy little guy bored.
His first meeting with the puppeteer, he woke up in the her lap.
That's when she forced her first kiss on him. A cold taste with a spark of Bourbon Whisky, as it turned out later. She made him docile and made it easier for him to bear what followed.
Everytime the puppeter kisses and does unthinkable things to him, he thinks about his 1st friend and when they shared the onliest kiss together. This thought lets him survive this nightmare.
This and the ever-recurring thought that he would experience all this with his first love….
1st part is the Vinlandsage opening 1. Which inspired me to write this disturbing, but also dramatic chapter. Have fun during reading.

It's the fault of the presidential system that keeps Trump in power (Essay)
Trump
I think that the president is a “temporary king”. It is the wisdom of the people after knowing all the evils of the tyrannical monarchy. So in the case of the USA, the president changes every 4 or 8 years.
Trump is a fraud and, if his indictment is correct, he is a treason spy. This man doesn't care about the national interest, he thinks only of his own interests. It's amazing that half the people support such a ridiculous guy, but it shows the immaturity of the USA people.
The Trump issue may be a problem peculiar to the USA, but it is also a problem that power is concentrated too much on the individual president. In Britain, which adopted a parliamentary democracy, the British people did not forgive "Mini Trump" Johnson for telling lies in Parliament, and Johnson was forced to resign from parliament. democracy is working.
On the other hand, the current USA will not have the power to force Trump out of office. The centralization of power in the individual president has the advantage that problems can be resolved quickly, but the biggest drawback of the USA presidential system is that it is difficult to remove presidents who are not qualified to do so. This jeopardizes democracy itself.

Title: Heaven’s Punishment (literal) OR Divine Retribution.
Translation with JuriTea_ This song was a challenge to translate because of all the double meanings. It's such a beautifully well written song though!
Note: There are many types of divine punishments in Japan. Typically 天罰 means divine retribution/heavenly punishment, and the average person will use 天罰, but it’s very nuanced. 天罰 - a punishment carried out by the heavens. 天誅 - a punishment carried out by the heavens. However, this is a punishment that can be carried out by someone on behalf of the heavens. 神罰 - a punishment carried out by god.
The final destination of flowing tears An elimination like abductions of anxious love The lip that I bit, incited by pain 苦みの効いた哀を焦がす Scorched my bitter sorrow 食らう怠惰の延長に The prolongment of the lethargy I had to stomach Cursing the days that I decided to look down on??? Tonight’s the night that’s right, this is justice
Ah, with a grudge against the incompetent god, I’ll definitely strike evil down with divine retribution A sight that I dreamt of How premature of it to go insane I'm OK I’m OK I can still dance Now that’s settled, here’s round two 疚しくて耐えられない? Can’t stand the guilt? I’m beyond that state now 悪を看破 春を噛んだ I saw through evil I bit spring So that’s what it’s like, how about it? Is now in my hands
嗚呼光よ君の行く先を照らしてくれ Ah, light, illuminate your path ahead 枯れることのない永遠どうか An evergreen eternity, please 咲き誇って揺れる造花 Blooming proudly, the artificial flowers sway 嗚呼 染まれ黄金に Ah, be dyed in gold
