It is just as easy for people on every side of the political spectrum to sensationalize events to attract attention at the expense of crucial information. And it's good to attract attention to the pretty grim policies being passed! But when those policies are made to sound so hopeless that a solution seems impossible, that's no longer productive.

The ALCU has a lot of branches and plenty of information explaining a lot of legislation what has been done about it, and what the average person in the area can continue doing.

Also if you see a certain queer internet personality who claims to deliver news with the shock and horror of a Fox Anchor - complete with stock horror movie music in the background - uh. Ignore him. Don't engage. It's understandable to be swept up by emotions in a very turbulent time, but actual queer journalists exist. They do things like research. They don't need to fight against the algorithm for their career. They seem cool.

-> She likely won't dress up in that style, but you have inspired her to focus more on fashion. Those socks and sandals may be good for work, but not the best for streetwear style. She doesn't wear extremely alternative outfits but is drawn to simpler and neutral outfits that still scream fashionable.

-> Anya holds onto one of your hairpins when she works! It's a sweet reminder of you and her patients compliment her for it. It's a win-win!

-> While you're preparing for a date with her, she'll walk into the bathroom, observing how you do your make-up and taking note of your routine. Eventually, she builds up the courage to ask if she could do it for you, promising with a grin that it'll look great.

-> You're sitting in the bedroom, nimble hands cupping your face as Anya draws your eyeliner on, tongue sticking out in concentration as she works on keeping it even on both sides. All you can focus on is the proximity between you both, the gentle warmth radiating from her hands. Tomura Shigaraki

Shigaraki would be the moody type when drunk. He’d probably go from brooding in a corner, muttering about heroes, to suddenly ranting loudly about his disdain for All Might or Deku.

His usual “don’t touch me” attitude would flip. He might get oddly clingy, pulling people into bear hugs, much to everyone’s confusion and discomfort.

Shigaraki’s coordination would be all over the place, and his decay quirk would activate accidentally, leaving things crumbling everywhere—tables, chairs, even door handles, all turning to dust without him meaning to.

Dabi

Dabi would get even more sarcastic than usual, throwing snarky comments left and right. He’d probably flirt with everyone in the room, completely deadpan, even with people who have no interest. “Oh, Toga, you look so sharp today. Literally.”

In his drunken state, he’d accidentally set small things on fire—couches, curtains, even the occasional bottle of alcohol in his hand—just because he’s too distracted or careless to control his quirk properly.

He’d probably start stupid dares, like challenging Shigaraki to see who can destroy more things or asking Toga to "cut shapes" into walls with her knife.

Himiko Toga

Toga would become super giggly and affectionate, trying to hug and nuzzle everyone, especially the people she has a crush on. She might even start poking fun at people for how “cute” their blood would taste.

She’d playfully challenge others to knife games, laughing hysterically when she almost cuts herself or others, not caring about the danger.

She’d drink some blood, attempt to transform into someone else, and then forget halfway through who she was supposed to be. This would lead to hilarious transformations where she’s stuck as a weird mix of multiple people.

Twice

Twice would become even more chaotic when drunk, with his split personality going haywire. He’d swing from being super confident and boastful to panicking about trivial things like, "What if I’ve already drunk too much and cloned myself and don’t even know it!?"

In his confusion, he’d start cloning himself uncontrollably, leading to dozens of Twice clones running around, all with different levels of drunkenness and confusion, some trying to clean up while others make even more of a mess.

He’d constantly get into weird, loud arguments with his clones, debating who’s the “real” Twice, which would escalate into drunken wrestling matches with himself.

Toga and Twice would absolutely team up in their drunken state, pulling pranks on everyone. Twice would clone himself to create distractions while Toga sneaks up behind others, surprising them with her knives or transforming into random League members just to freak everyone out.

Spinner

Spinner would get very philosophical when drunk, going on long rants about Stain’s ideology, questioning the morality of their actions, and asking deep questions like, "Are we truly villains, or just misunderstood heroes?"

He’d probably unsheath his sword and start swinging it around clumsily, knocking things over, and hitting furniture while trying to show off his "heroic" skills, only to trip over his tail.

At some point, he’d drunkenly start insisting everyone play an old video game with him, like Tetris or Street Fighter, getting overly competitive and emotional about it.

Mr. Compress

Mr. Compress would turn into an exaggerated version of himself when drunk, speaking in grand, dramatic gestures, like he’s performing a show. He’d likely challenge others to card tricks or sleight-of-hand games, only to drop the cards everywhere.

He’d start compressing random items in the room—bottles, plates, even Twice’s clones—without much thought, laughing about the chaos it causes.

He’d try to tell elaborate, fantastical stories about his past or the League’s adventures, getting increasingly nonsensical and confusing as he rambles on, leaving everyone unsure of what he’s talking about.

Kurogiri

Kurogiri would try to stay responsible at first, keeping an eye on the others and making sure no one gets hurt. But after a few drinks, even he’d loosen up a bit, though he’d never fully lose his calm demeanor.

As he gets drunk, Kurogiri might accidentally start teleporting people or objects to random places, sending Dabi across the room or making Twice reappear in the kitchen without meaning to.

He’d start talking in circles about the importance of balance and order, even as he drunkenly sends half the room into his portals, much to everyone’s frustration.

everyone was polite, the food was delicious (and properly sized), and you had no doubt you'd settle nicely here

as a precaution to the death sequence, you decided to take a stroll in the rose garden after dinner

if you were already on the ground floor, you couldn't fall to your death, right?

but unexpectedly, you encountered a lone figure in the centre of the garden

he was incredibly tall, dressed simply, his emerald eyes fixated on the estate

upon closer inspection, you noticed he had long horns as well, perhaps he was a gazelle beastman?

either way, you were curious about what it was that held his attention so strongly that he couldn't notice your presence

"Excuse me, sir? May I ask what is so interesting about the building?" you timidly break the silence of the night.

The man turns to you, his eyes widening in surprise. "... Do you not know who I am?"

You blinked in confusion at his words. His words filled you with a sense of foreboding. You wondered if this person matched any of the characters your friend had so fervently described, but all you could recall was the beautiful villainess and the enigmatic advisor to the Duke.

I just saw an ask about Richard hitting Till in Deutschland video, and that scene always made me extra uncomfortable.

I beg higher powers every day for Rammstein to one day release the making of because that entire video had to have been the most challenging one yet to make.

I remember one of them mentioning that during the recording of the song, they started reminiscing and telling stories that were never shared before from the DDR times.

Obviously you have the WW2 scene and that must've been an absolute mindfuck to wear those uniforms but then you have scenes like the one in the prison bstween Richard and Till and it always made me think - is this what Stasi did to Richard? That must've brought back bad memories. Hence, why, going back to the ask I saw (which wasn't even your ask lol) I don't think Richard would've been comfortable to actually, physically hit Till and especially in that scene.

Flake actually mentioned the following about the recording of the song (found here):

"When people want me to say something about 'Deutschland', I usually talk about the months, actually years, we spent sitting down as a band having heated discussions. While it is of course very touching to know how deeply this topic brought the band members together, the quote also shows just how significant the entire subject was for the band — all of whom had personal experiences with Germany in various forms (which makes sense, since they all come from the GDR). So it’s likely one of the most personal songs the band has ever created, and with the video, they truly created a masterpiece. I think many people are longing for a making-of 🤲🏼

Regarding Richard and Till: there are two moments in which Richard hits Till. One is in the 1920s segment of the video, where Richard dominates the boxing match (x):

The other, which you're most likely referring to, is during the Weimar Republic/interwar period/hyperinflation scene, where Richard plays the role of a prison guard:

Apparently, Richard had a big problem with wearing the SS uniform, and as a German myself, I can absolutely understand that. No matter how well-tailored the uniform may be, it is tied to oppression, terror, and a deeply inhumane ideology.

While I can understand that scenes of violence like these may be uncomfortable to watch, it is 1) pure acting, and 2) likely necessary to include in order to reflect the historical conditions at the time — for instance when prisoners had virtually no rights and were at the mercy of those in power.

I believe that for both the song and the video, emotional sacrifices were made — personal, perhaps even repressed, feelings were brought to the surface, and there was a deep sense of vulnerability throughout.

Whether Richard went through something exactly like that with the Stasi, I don’t know — and I don’t want to presume. According to his own account, he was held by the Stasi as a prisoner for several days, interrogated, and beaten. And whether he would be willing to hit Till — I don’t know either. Honestly, I never even thought about it, because to me, it was purely acting. And sometimes you've got to perform things for the sake of acting and getting the point across.

He did, however, once mention in an interview — probably half-joking — that a proper fistfight in the studio might have resolved some problems (Rolling Stone 2011) 👀

Write twins better in three easy steps!

I meet so many people who act so stupid about this to my face, and I basically never see a set of identical twins that are well written in fiction, so here's a couple tips about identical twins. Mostly as a reference for writing them, but also so you can tell people to stop acting like an asshole to any twins you might know IRL.

FACT ONE:

Identical twins are two separate people.

Not one brain in two bodies

Not a hivemind that can read each other's thoughts

They don't speak in unison all the time (but might answer together if you address them as a collective and not an individual)

If they date they don't share the same partner

Can't be counted as one person for the sake of entry admission, airplane seating, employment, school tuition, or voting

Have their own names, even, and would prefer you use them instead of calling them both by the same collective name

FACT TWO:

Identical twins don't struggle telling themselves apart from each other. Your difficulty telling them apart is not something they have ever experienced themselves.

They understand the difference between looking at themself in the mirror and looking at their twin.

Yes, even as a young child.

No, they didn't have to learn the difference between a mirror and their sibling.

They never believe their twin to be themself.

They don't struggle to see themself as their own person.

They don't feel like they're looking at their own face all the time.

They don't have constant thoughts about how their sibling looks similar to themself.

The scene from The Parent Trap where one "twin" says 'OMG why do you look just like me??' just isn't realistic

FACT THREE:

Identical twins are, as a rule, not trying to actively deceive you and are sick of people assuming that.

Your difficulty in telling them apart does not mean they are trying intentionally to trick you or make you mess up

They also aren't trying to scare you or murder you and they won't like you if you tell them you're afraid of them

Dating a twin doesnt mean you're going to be parent-trapped (and if you can't tell your partner apart from their sibling, that's not a good look on you)

Some twins just go with the assumptions everyone else is making about them already and play into the stereotype, especially as kids

Literally every fictional pair of identical twins are tricksters already. Come up with something original.

Twins can still be compelling characters without leaning on these tropes

Writing a compelling pair of identical twins doesn't have to be hard if you either write them like other siblings, or understand that the stereotypes that circulate in fiction are some of the biggest issues they struggle against. Here are some good examples of compelling twin plots that I can think of, though not all of these characters are twins or identical:

Mabel's fear at the end of Gravity Falls that growing up meant that her brother would grow apart from her

Stanley Pines struggling to measure up to his parent's favoritism of his brother throughout childhood, but still dedicating his adult life to getting him back when he went missing

Ty Lee running away to join the circus so she could have an identity outside of her parents' curated "matched set" of siblings in AtLA

Vash and Knives in Trigun '99 experiencing the same childhood traumas and interpreting them differently, coming away from them with opposing ideologies in adulthood

Hikaru and Kaoru's trauma over being told they were interchangeable and their desire to find someone who would treat them as individuals in Ouran High School Host Club

Oh I also love Clauderry!! (and half the fun of shipping is multishipping, anyway). No apologies or hesitation required <33 Claudiez is also supremely a crackship even if it's slightly more plausible in arc 3, but there's no way in hell it's ever happening and that's part of what makes it fun, too

And I think your question is a good one! It's one I asked myself after S7 because while a few things for them happened that I'd been waiting for, it also hadn't gone the way I'd thought.

For example: Since I went into the season thinking there'd be at least a 5 year timeskip in between arc 2 and arc 2 (three years minimum, but five or more felt right) I was already expecting a big chunk of time to pass in between.

This meant I was thinking that either Terry would leave (first) and Claudia would near the end of the season after him, OR neither would leave Aaravos but it'd be made clear Terry was staying with her partially to mitigate damage, and he'd leave early on in arc 3. Don't get me wrong: I wanted/hoped (esp from an aged up Claudiez shipping lens) that they'd break up, and would stay broken up for longer than half a season, and that seeing them apart for Years would be interesting but... surely I wasn't going to get my dream scenario?

And yet here we are, with Terry and Claudia presumably broken up for 7 years. That is a Long time to be broken up for, especially since they're ideologically opposed to the degree that they are. Rayllum lasted 2 years after dating for a shorter time than Clauderry (they had like 2 months; Clauderry probably had 6 months to a year, maybe 1.5) but while certain cultural values and choices weren't matching up, they've never been super ideologically opposed (at least not on the same level to wind up on opposite sides of a war Again). I'd be very interested in an arc where Terry and Claudia grow independently and end up single and/or with other people.

That said: I think it's pretty close to 100% sure that they're gonna get back together before the end of the show.

This is for a few reasons:

1) We are primarily invested in the relationships / the parts of the characters' lives we get to see. We're going to see very little, ultimately, of Terry and Claudia's time apart compared to all their time together (i.e. 4 seasons) and that's going to stick More (and therefore be more relevant) in the audience's minds/memories.

2) Claudia's end of season 7 character design. I want to do a proper breakdown of all of it, and a bigger meta about her character design changes over the show is sitting 1/4th finished in my drafts rn, but I think her prosthetic from Terry is really important from a symbolic standpoint. Whether she wants to or not, Terry is a literal part of her and she is literally carrying a symbol of his love for her with him.

We see her abandon dark magic as a literal crutch in favour of trusting his prosthetic can bear her weight in 6x03, and the symbolism of her throwing away her staff to run and hug him instead. While I think perhaps Callum could end the series (like Viren) without formally/permanently giving up dark magic, I don't think Claudia can, and she'll have to as part of her redemption arc.

On that note, we also have how the prosthetic Terry made/gave to her (as a sign of faith that she'd return to him, and she did, I might add) originally bore more of his colours — brown and green — and how it changes, mostly, to black and blue once she gets her dragon armour.

I do wonder about the blue because unless it's an indigo slant, it's not a colour Claudia has been associated much with so far, but maybe that'll change. We also see that the bulk of the leg has changed, but not all—some original part of it, and Terry, despite Claudia possibly wanting to pretend all of it has been changed/removed, is still there with her.

So Claudia's symbolic coding and her despondency at "so you've given up on me?" with Soren shows that she does still want Soren (and Terry) to Care about her, even if she's not yet willing to accept what that care demands and looks like.

That's her side of things — what about Terry?

3) Terry shows clear continued love and concern throughout the season, including spelling out the biggest piece of evidence for him keeping his love for her in their breakup scene.

But first, just a nice little collection of parallels and indicators:

Now that that's out of the way — onto the actual breakup scene dialogue.

CLAUDIA: I know I should've told you, I know. But Terry, I've done so many bad things before and you know they were for good reasons. What's different about this? TERRY: Because you didn't trust me to make my own choice. You used me. You've never done that before. It's not how you treat someone you love. It's not how you treat any person. And if I let you treat me that way, I'm not sure I can really be me anymore. CLAUDIA: You're always you. You're being so you right now. TERRY: No. Aaravos said that this would change me, but I love myself the way I am. And if I let myself change to someone I don't even like, I'm not... I'm not really the person you fell in love with anymore, am I?

Terry refuses to stay and be fundamentally changed by Claudia and Aaravos' deception. He doesn't want to become someone he likes, and scaffolds that if he did stay and become that person, he would no longer be the person that Claudia loves. Therefore, by leaving, Terry remains the person that Claudia loves. And, as demonstrated in the screencaps above, he starts and ends the season still loving her, which means that Claudia is the one who has to find her way back to him, and she will still find the Terry she fell in love with close to 8 years ago by arc 3's time, waiting for her.

I could see them only getting back together near the end of arc 3, mind you. I'm expecting it'll probably take 1.5 seasons minimum for Claudia to pivot and start her atonement arc in earnest, and I think they'd probably have a season long arc (for those sweet S4 Rayllum parallels, and to give them both an interpersonal plotline) of getting back together, especially because a Lot has changed and will continue to change.

But yeah, I have little doubt they'll be endgame, at the very least ending the show (discounting any kind of epilogue) with a tentative but tender and steadfast, "What do you say we try again?" handhold and look if not like, kissing and couple-y things.

What it would take for me to buy that they'd Stay together their whole lives, I think I would need Claudia to demonstrate to Terry's face how much she views on elves have changed and make it clear that — unlike throughout their entire relationship — she's no longer exceptionalizing him. I could see that being a big part of her arc, but Viren's atonement arc addressed only interpersonal issues, not necessarily the devastation he brought to Xadia/Lux Aurea, so it could go either way. I think Claudia and Terry will end up together regardless of what's focused on in her atonement arc, and I think I'd still prefer to explore fic/fanon wise how divorce could affect them / endgame with other people (Corvus for Terry, Ezran for Claudia) BUT as far as canon? They're endgame, and I'm sure they'll live long happy lives together

If he was made aware of the player it would send him down onto a spiral. I think because if this is in my Aeon of fate AU. He would also believe in fate as like an ally of the order or he would think that if Ena, didn't get subsumed by the harmony that the order would have been subsumed by fate instead.

He would also think is that his plan is going all accordingly to the Weaver's strings, Is his plan had succeeded?It puts him in his mind. Then this is the will of order and fate.

And that's before he gets taken by Elio and the rest of the Stellaron Hunters, if we're talking after he fails then after all that... He'd be a little bit hesitant to follow with plans at first but that's only at first, becausehe would see that whole fight as him going against the will of fate, trying to break from the cosmic strings of the Paracae's tapestry. And he wpuld belive that becoming a stellaron hunter and not being able to interact with his sister ever again, losing it all is his punishment, Because if there's one thing Christians can do, it's to believe in a nebulous concept, like y'know, fate and it's punishment. That's just if he doesn't know this is a game if he does, he's a little bit more bitter, Because from the start he was supposed to fail. That no matter what he tried, he was never going to succeed with it. Especially if the player is the type to start light talking in the middle of the fight which I did. And the I got into- I got into a one sided (for me) argument with him, during the scene where he talks about the past, present and future, I was refusing his points in like actively getting frustrated at him, retailing genesis towards me like I didn't go to christians school, I was, I was literally being like. ‘Don't even explain Genesis to me. I had to read it for Bible study’, but aside from that I feel like if the player were to match his eye ideology and provide a counter-argument. He'd be all for it. Because he's basically a homeschooled Christian kid and like challenging the ingrained beliefs in homeschooled christian kids is like a different kind of fight, turst me i would know.

Yeah, but anyways, I fight his fight.I fight his boss fight at least thrice a week, after my weekly fights are done, just to like vent out my frustration, amd to listen to his battle lines.

Well he's gonna come out on top, especially if the player decides to build him right and use him often… and why wouldn't you?

But of course under all that he's just a scared vulnerable guy who is scared of losing it all and failing his family and the people who helped him, he's lost so much and if the player could help him through it… show him his worth and a reason to keep holding on it'd heal a long wounded part of his soul that still calls itself Kakavasha.

Assigning Tokyo Debunker Characters Into Honkai Star Rail Paths

There are some inaccuracies. I don't inspect each ghouls on microscopic level, so I apologize in advanced if you find some characters not fit into the path you think they'd have. I'd love to hear your thoughts on which path your fave will follow (✿◡‿◡)

There are two tier list: one for the path they follow and their path in the gameplay. Since some HSR characters' gameplay paths a lot of time don't match the one they actually follow in the story.

I am not a meta slave! My knowledge on that is probably like... around 70% give or take (It's still difficult for me to full star pure fiction without a team full of limited 5stars pls)

Paths are congregations of Imaginary energy, born as manifestations of universal philosophical concepts. Those who believe in and practice the concepts behind a certain path become Pathstriders, and the path that they happen to follow will change in accordance with their own philosophies and opinions. In some special cases, entities that manage to completely intertwine themselves with a path and explore its philosophical concepts to their entirety will become an Aeon.

In gameplay, paths are utilized as a class system for characters in the game, detailing which gameplay style their kit is designed for.

The ghouls and their path (philosophical concept)

1. ABUNDANCE

I actually contemplated on putting Subaru in Harmony... I legit have nothing to back this up lol. He just give the vibe. Even though Yaoshi (the Aeon of Abundance) is seen as a savior by making creatures immortal, their act also bring chaos to the universe as abundance doesn't judge who should receive their blessing and who shouldn't. They will heal monsters in the brink of death because that's who they are. And the creatures they brought back to life will turn into a full-on mindless and chaotic creatures.

2. DESTRUCTION

[ Those who follow the "Destruction" Path admire recklessness, anger, and destructive behavior. ]

Taiga is pretty much self-explanatory. Alan is somewhat in the middle between destruction and preservation but I lean more to the first option.

I almost put Towa in harmony tier (yes) but the "supportive" part can only be done if there's Haru so... yeah. Lyca might be destruction, might be hunt, especially since he's so determined to find Neros and he's also quite ruthless sometimes...

3. ERUDITION

[Those who follow the "Erudition" Path admire thinking, logic, and strategic behavior]

I think the path description alone is enough to shed light on them. Although I was actually putting Hyde on another tier at first... (I forgot which one).

4. HARMONY

[Those who follow the "Harmony" Path admire understanding, support, and cooperative behavior.]

The description just screams ZENJI. Also, Haru could also be put in Preservation tier.

5. NIHILITY

[Those who follow the "Nihility" Path admire laziness, exhaustion, and meaningless behavior.]

The "I've seen enough" "I don't give a f" "leave me alone" "idfk im lazy"

6. PRESERVATION

[Those who follow the "Preservation" Path admire patience, sacrifice, and defensive behavior.]

7. The Hunt

OFC I'M GOING TO PUT ROMEO & LEO THERE. The only ones who can stand and also RESPECT each other on that level. Sho was a bit on grey area... so I put him last. Too confused.

Their paths in the gameplay

This one is based on their major role in the main story (with the current interpretation i have as of now ofc lol). This is because some characters' path/ideology in HSR doesn't match their gameplay either.

1. ABUNDANCE

[Heals allies and restores HP to the team.]

Ofc I'm gonna put two doctors in there.

2. DESTRUCTION

[Deals outstanding amounts of damage and possesses great survivability. Suitable for various combat scenarios]

LISTEN,,, JIRO & YURI'S KIT WOULD SYNERGIZE SO WELL AS A TEAM. Yuri is like the BIS (best in slot) healer for Jiro that players would kinda have no choice but to get both.

Also destruction chars are often centered on lowering their HP bar to deal big pp damage. Jiro and Alan are a tank-type characters in this.

Towa destroying enemies with bubbles... but he can also zapped the enemies with thunder... Imagine it. With his silly outfit too.

Taiga is... similar to Aventurine's kit, he has this XX% change to add something during battle. It could be from technique or with how much he drained the party's HP (yeah). A combination of Jingliu and Aventurine. A bit of a tank but not as much as Jiro and Alan. Having a healer isn't preferable as the more low is HP is the bigger the damage he'd deal.

You gamble to get him, and then you gamble again when playing him. That's Taiga. But HE WINS A LOT so even if you don't manage to get the best buff, he'll still do great.

Lyca is a stack-type character, and he has a few states as well. Kinda like Firefly, he can turn to werewolf. He ignores weakness type too.

Alan is similar to Blade/Mydei in kit. With one of his best team IRONICALLY being Dante *cough*. Kinda like how Blade got upgraded after Jade's existence yk.

Tohma is similar to Yunli. A tank that's centered on few types of follow-up attack. Has good synergy with Jin (and Luca at some point)

3. ERUDITION

[Deals remarkable amounts of multi-target damage. The main damage dealer against groups of enemies]

Jin is the type who can deal with enemies by himself with so little turns wasted. A must-have if you want to full star in Pure-Fiction. He's probably aThe Herta-expy lol

Imagine The Herta but instead of doing a follow-up attack he'll get extra turn instead (idk how to explain it but it's that one Seele kit) so you can choose which enemy will receive the most damage. He does well without his BiS lightcone but if you GET SOME MONEY OUT and get it, he'll power creep so many DPS. This isn't even biased.

Haku... he just want to deal with enemies as efficient as possible. A sub-dps type of erudition character but can be main damage dealer if you know how to do it. He's versatile in many teams and can also buff the party.

4. HARMONY

[Applies buffs to allies to improve the team's combat capacities]

Subaru harmony kit would involve around cleansing, ER, and CRATE increase. Mainly for one chosen character but with his LC he can regenerate energy for the whole party during change of turn/ult

(Maybe I should make the damage dealer of Hotarubi a character that relies on ult to deal big numbers...)

Also since Subaru kept insisting that Haku is the reliable one and Subaru is more of a supporting role... wwww.

I can imagine Subaru's ult wearing a mask or something like that.

Zenji... two nights ago, when I wrote this thread the first time, I thought "hold on Zenji can be remembrance" so YEAH I missed that chance ahaha but anyways, I think Zenji can still be a remembrance/harmony type chara, with his doll doing most of the damage as his memosprite.

I like to think Zenji is similar to Lingsha in a way. To make his doll attack, the team has to receive damage first WHICH IS GONNA MAKE HIM FIT SO WELL WITH IN JIRO'S TEAM!! Zenji is going to be like Moze. He can disappear so the one being present the most is the doll.

He's a harmony + remembrance that also deals some damage type of character. But to get his doll to do more damage he has to ult (that's where Subaru come along). His skill will buff one chara and they will have this floating paper circling around them JUST IMAGINE HIS BATTLE VOICELINES

Cornelius can also be remembrance. He can get his kitties to do the attack for him lol. I think Cornelius would be the character that can choose one chara to attack immediately (like Bronya, Sunday, Sparkle). But his base SPD is like really low, so he got power-creeped fast

5. NIHILITY

[Applies debuffs to enemies to reduce their combat capacities]

I didnt think much when putting Ed in there tbh. He reminds me of Kafka so he's probably going to be DoT character. Not to mention people are starting to *cough* leave DoT behind *cough* (DONT ATTACK ME)

But he is a powerful DoT unit tho. The kind that makes the devs think twice to do a new DoT unit that can power-creep him. "Ed is still doing good in the game so let's not get him behind so soon" Although his DoT is rather slow, he deals a lot of ult dmg tht can also slow down enemies

I hate to say it, but Hyde would do well with Romeo. He's shitty with Sho but works well with Romeo. I HAVEN'T EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT ROMEO'S KIT YET FFS! I think it's rather personal, but if I were the enemies and I have to face Hyde, I'll just walk out of the battle.

Hyde would be similar to Fugue I think. He helps students do well in missions, I don't see why his kit wouldn't revolve around shield breaking or adding new weakness so the students can do their job easier. Would it be funny if I give Moby the same kit as Jiaoqiu? The cook.

6. PRESERVATION

[Possesses powerful defensive abilities to protect allies in various ways]

Luca is definitely a shielder. The ones that add shield bar to the team like most preservation unit in hsr except Fuxuan. He does follow-up atk after he reach a certain number of stacks.

RUI, HOWEVER, he can do a lot tbh. I could put him in Nihility, I can put him in Abundance. I'll just break them all down here.

Rui preservation is the Fuxuan type. He'll take most of the damage in the entire team and when he reaches a certain percentage of HP he's going to release a powerful FuA immediately. Rui as a mix of healer and debuffer sounds so good he'd complete the Obscuary team so well.

Rui abundance being lifesteal-type of healer (which we don't have yet). Instead of instantly heal the party he give the enemies marks, and the more these marked enemies get hit, the more they regenerate HP.

"Wouldn't that mean the team has to be fast?"

Rui as debuffer tho? Those marks also make them move slower. If you add Ed with him he's going to be one of the best healers out there.

He's also a shielder. But he can only give the best shield to one particular unit and make them taunt(?)

Basically enemies would be drawn to attack his chosen shielded unit. And the more they got attacked, the more dmg Ritsu will deal when he ult. It almost blurs the line on who is using who, and that's just kind of poetic to me. A relationship between a paralegal and his client.

"You will receive my protection, but in return so many of our opponent will want to point their knife at you. And the more they do, the more evidence we're going to get to win in the court (or battle, in this case)." - Ritsu. Probably.

I'm biased so I will make him unkillable. If the enemy is too strong, he's going to be the last man standing. He's going to attack with less DMG tho since he needs to give his shield to others in order to get his ult to do big numbers. Unkillable nonetheless.

7. REMEMBRANCE

HARU AND PEEKABOO KRILLING ENEMIES TOGETHER!!!

He's like, doesn't do much DMG but God is he fast. Similar to Aglaea in that regard.

The faster he gets a turn, the more dmg he's going to make. And the ult is actually more focused on Peekaboo changing into a different state (the creepy peekaboo with fangs and stuff). But Haru gets targeted often by enemies. Like Tingyun lol. So... it's so easy to drain his HP

Idk if you've seen the leaks but would it be funny if Ren summons that kranken baby (I FORGOT HIS NAME) and he can turn into giant kranken and just... obliterate the enemies...

BOONIE AS SHO'S MEMOSPRITE! Idk if this can happen in the future but to imagine a memosprite that relies on stack. Like how Acheron and Feixiao's work. YOU NEED TO FEED BONNIE SO SHE CAN WORK! She's such a diva honestly. But she does tons of damage so that makes up for it.

Sho's basic attack is just him throwing punches. That's it But I also want them to have 2 different ults. One is just bonnie, the other is Sho riding her. Again, idk how that's gonna work but there are different types of skill in GI i don't see why we can't have different ults in HSR.

8. HUNT

[Deals extraordinary amounts of single-target damage. The main damage dealer against Elite Enemies]

Leo's kit is pretty straightforward. I need him to be like Boothill in a way that he can shred enemies' shield as easy as he gets under people's skin (and dirt).

Yeah. He's going to be really similar to Boothill. He'd taunt one specific enemy to only hit him, which then will make him really vulnerable. Unlike Alan who is a destruction unit meant to tank, Leo just can't. Big numbers come with great vulnerability; it comes at a big price.

But he's a solid unit all and all. Would do so much more if you get his eidolons. He's going to bat his pretty eyes "Did I do good, Trailblazer? I was good, wasn't I? Now go get that credit card and pull more of me. Pretty please?" - Leo. Probably

Kaito as a hunt unit wwww He'd be a sub-dps type. Rather similar to Hunt March 7th. Depending on whose commands he listen to, he'll provide different buff (*cough* Jin *cough). Another one that synergize with Jin. Even though he's already too good on his own lol.

Romeo is situational. He can be main dps, he can be sub-dps. Really similar to Feixiao but instead of going fast he'd want the rest of the team to have their own turn first and gather his stacks for him. He's slow, he relies on ult to do big damage but dealing with bosses has never been easier when you have him in the team. The downside is he really need his light cone for you to unlock his full potential. I don't make the rules here he is EXPENSIVE! You can't give him some light cone from the shop let alone a 3star one

His technique immediately marks random enemy, making it his target. Similar to Leo, he deals with one enemy at a time. The mark can be moved by using his skill.

I think the target would not only marked just for show they'd also get debuffed (similar to Ratio). He ignores weakness type.

This one probably won't make sense but if one character in the team (let's say it's the main dps and Romeo is the sub-dps) is at their limits like low on hp, he's going to do more damage. He's going to shoulder the role of main dps.

And this would make Sinostra his best team.

That is all. But let's stretch this a bit further by ranking which house synergize well the most. I didn't imagine their kit as a team, I imagined them individually. That means some dorm team wouldn't be as good.

Frostheim: 3.5/5

Two main DPS: Jin and Tohma One sub-DPS/Buffer: Kaito One shielder: Luca

Jin can carry the team just fine tbh. Too much damage dealer imo

Vaga: 2.5/5

They're all doing the damage. No one's buffing the team, no one's keeping them alive. They rlly said YOLO but i guess that's vaga for you. Alan can tank but Leo is gonna die first (or the enemy. that really depends on the player)

Jabberwock: 2.5/5

Worst than vaga. I mean they're all gigachad especially Towa and Ren, but Haru will be so vulnerable to attacks. They need at least one healer in the team

Sinostra: 4.5/5 and yes i am BIASED

Taiga can tank a little and he's fun to play with (some players will say he's annoying before they even got to play him). And Since he can tank he doesn't need Ritsu's shielder as much as Romeo.

Taiga needs to bleed, Romeo need stay alive to get the team to win (and be Taiga's substitute just in case he's reckless enough to die), and Ritsu is a perfect shielder for them. Ritsu is unkillable and he's going to defend (protect) both of them until the end.

Hotarubi: 4/5

If I stick with remembrance Zenji, this team will do just fine. Haku will kill most of the enemies and Subaru is there to make him deal damage more often.

Obscuary: 4.5/5

Obscuary being centered on team that full on debuffing the enemies till they die. No they don't need buff they will weaken the enemies with practically no effort. Rui is there to support them and Lyca can get the job done fast.

Mortkranken: 4/5

Yuri and Jiro works well together in the story, they also work well in this one. No other healer can keep Jiro on the team to constantly deal damage the way Yuri does. Yuri is tailor-made for Jiro and Jiro is tailor-made for Yuri.

Genderfluid metamorphmagus Walburga Black, who goes by the name Pollux in her male form, looks exactly like Sirius when she switches genders: the same jet black, long hair, piercing gray eyes, and sharp jawline. From a young age, she was taught to suppress this side of herself by her parents, as metamorphmagi were not deemed "socially acceptable" within wizarding society, especially for someone from an influential pure-blood family. Barely anybody knows about her secret until one day thirteen-year-old Regulus Back goes snooping up in the attic of his family home and finds old photos from the '40s in a box labeled "Pollux Black II", and out of curiosity he goes looking inside it. The moment he sees Pollux, Regulus is at a loss for words, unable to identify the man in the picture who looks just like Sirius. Regulus only knew one Pollux Black: his grandfather. After all his years living underneath the roof of Orion and Walburga Black who often spoke of past relatives with pride, he was surprised that he'd never heard of Pollux II, nor could he recall seeing the man's name on the family tree.

At first he assumes that it's his father, but that assumption didn't quite hold. The man in the photograph bore a distinct air of defiance in his eyes that Regulus has never seen in Orion, who was more reserved and strict, often cloaked in a façade of cold authority. While his father exuded an aura of traditionalism and expectation, Pollux’s gaze sparkled with a rebellious spirit, much like his elder brother Sirius. Which brought him to his second guess: Uncle Alphard.

Regulus always saw Alphard as a free-spirit, someone who seemed to embody a sense of freedom that was rare in the Black family. While others toed the line of pure-blood ideology, Alphard had embraced his independence, often expressing disdain for the family's rigid views. However, the resemblance, although similar, did not match when compared to earlier pictures of Alphard as a boy. By this point, Regulus was left utterly clueless as to who Pollux could be within the family. He wasn't Regulus' grandfather, nor his father, nor his uncle.... With no other option, the young Black went to confront Alphard about the photos, knowing that if he sought out the truth from one of his parents he'd be reprimanded and the photos would be quickly confiscated. Regulus wanted to know- no. He needed to know who these pictures were of. He found Alphard in the sitting room, smoking a cigar, wasting no time as he abruptly threw the pictures onto his uncle's lap. "who is that?" asked Regulus, pointing down to the man in the photos that still rested on his uncle's lap. "who is Pollux Black?" there was a brief silence that filled the air when Regulus finally got the question out, but Alphard just sat there nonchalantly, continuing to smoke his cigar as he stared down at the pictures. after a couple heartbeats he answered: "your mother", Alphard said, as if it was no secret whatsoever. "mother?" Regulus echoed back, his breath hitching in his throat as his eyes locked on Pollux's face. "mother is Pollux Back II?" he questioned, to which Alphard responded with a curt nod. At that moment it all dawned on him.... No wonder Walburga treated her son with such hostility the day the name underneath his portrait on the family tapestry changed from Regula to Regulus. He never felt comfortable in his own skin, and now he understood that his mother must've felt the same way he did back when she was his age, grappling with her own identity in a world that demanded conformity. The weight of expectation had likely pressed down on her too, forcing her into a role that felt foreign and suffocating. Everyone always said that Sirius held most similarity to Walburga, but on that day Regulus saw that he and his mother had more in common than he thought they did. He wondered if his mother saw herself in him, and if she was envious of the fact that Regulus was able to find a place in a world that seemed increasingly open to change. Perhaps, he thought, her anger was rooted not just in disappointment, but in a longing for the choices she had been denied.

Neurodivergent Study Tips

A teacher at my school asked me if I had any study tips for other students with ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, ect. so I typed up a little list. Thought others might find it helpful as well! Sorry it's so long. This is just my experience, so they probably won't work for everyone, I would love it if everyone could add on there own things they do to stay focused.

Do you have something that you’re really obsessed with whether it be a piece of media, a video game, a book, a certain subject or a time period in history? Try to relate it to what you are learning! 

-Use mnemonic devices related to your special interest or current thing you’re really into.. When I often need to memorize certain terms I like to make my mnemonic devices relate to the tv shows I like (ex. I  needed to memorize the three main gunpowder empires so I used the term “Silly Oncologist Man” which reminded me of Wilson from House MD but the first letter of each word matches the name of each gunpowder empire; the Safavids, the Ottoman Empire, and the Mughal Empire.) 

-Relate the things you like to what you are learning about.  Find a way to tie in the things you enjoy into what you are learning about. For math and science this can be quite easy, especially when you are learning about motion and other things that can be applied easily to many scenarios (I turned all my equations on calculating the motion of an object into playing roller derby or throwing projectiles in dnd or video games I like) For me I often relate political movements in fictional TV shows to the part of American history or philosophy they most align with, I find that any TV shows with complex fictional governments or that explore certain themes and ideologies are good for this (I used the Battlestar Galactica Reboot for this, but you can really use anything that you’re interest in, even other parts of history, this can also help you develop a deeper understanding!) 

-Find some way to fit something you like or what you’re interested in into your study routine. I often have the soundtracks of my favorite tv shows, movies or video games playing in the background as I study, or I often keep something that reminds me of the things I like nearby.  (I like drinking coffee while studying because it helps me focus and reminds me of my favorite character Ianto from the tv show Torchwood, similarly I also have a scented candle I like that smells like the Sunnydale Library from Buffy the Vampire Slayer burning while I work) 

Find ways to reward yourself for studying. 

- Make a tangible final product. I often find that making a tangible product relating to what I’m learning or what I’m interested in can be quite helpful. For example, instead of just forcing myself to memorize all the neurotransmitters and parts of the brain for AP Psychology I made up a fake video game where each of the neurotransmitters was a member of an alien punk band and the parts of the brain were places they went on tour. I was able to make little skill trees for each of the neurotransmitters as their character leveled up relating to the effects of what would happen if you had too much or too little of that neurotransmitter, also allowing me to memorize the different causes of mental illnesses at the same time. At the end of this project not only did I have a little booklet and ton of sketches of my neurotransmitter characters, as well as many accompanying pinterests boards but I also memorized all the terms I needed to know, often in far more depth than my classmates because I would look up additional information to complete my project. Plus if you have something you can take with you outside of school and show to other people it often leaves you feeling much more fulfilled. 

-Use Technology I use a lot of study and task tracking apps to motivate myself to study. My favorites are the ones that tie you studying to taking care of some kind of virtual pet or gaining in game items. My favorites are Study Bunny which allows to gain coins every time you study to better take care of your virtual bunny, Finch which is more of a self care app but you can also use to set goals for the day to take care of your virtual pet bird, Focus Traveller which also lets you make soundscapes and travel a mountain by studying more, Habitica a fantasy themed task managing app where you get coins and equipments for completing tasks and Hatch where you get to hatch alien creatures for studying. You can also use rewards not tied to an app but tied to something you like to do or something that you are interested in, but I also just like the apps.  

-Make your place to study actually fun to be in. I know this can be a lot harder for some people depending on if you actually have your own space at home. But you can even bring a cute action figure or good luck charm to put with you while you study, or just find a place in your school where you like to be (I have a favorite spot in my school library where I love to sit in for studying.) Your environment could also include playing the kind of music you like while studying or creating a special soundscape with calming sounds like rain or birds. I also often like lighting a scented candle or incense while I work because I really like good smelling things and it makes me happy to be at my desk. I also just have fun stickers on my laptop and a cute computer mouse that has just the best texture, making me happy to work.  

Find ways to prevent yourself from leaving your desk or stopping the task you are doing. 

Create a reason why you can’t leave your study space or stop your task. For this I often like to light a scented candle because I can’t leave an open flame unattended for more than a few minutes because my cat Gus has a death wish. So because I don’t want to waste matches I often find myself staying put and continuing to work as opposed to getting up and wandering the house to go bother the rest of my family. You can also use an app like Study Bunny or Hatch that sets a timer for how long you need to stay put. 

Incorporate movement into your studying. I am often very very fidgety and find myself often leaving my desk to wander around the house if I haven’t moved for long enough. Instead I have started pacing while reading my textbooks or using a fidget while studying so I can still get some movement in. My mom has a little mini elliptical thing she keeps under her desk which she finds very helpful as well, though that can be a bit expensive. 

Limit technology based distractions. Apps like Study Bunny or Hatch will stop you from accessing the rest of your phone without losing your progress, which can stop you from getting distracted and texting your friends or scrolling social media. I also have the software Virtual Cabin which not only makes it feel like you are studying in a cozy cabin with a cute cat/dog and nice music/nature sounds but also blocks the rest of your computer from view, keeping yourself focused on whatever you are doing.  Frankly I just find myself trying to do assignments on paper/analog as much as I can because it eliminates the temptation of me switching out of what I am doing and looking at something else on my computer. 

Find ways to hold yourself accountable. I often find that telling someone that I am going to do homework before I do it can be helpful. I even sometimes tell them what assignments I am doing so they can check in to see if  I actually did them, though I often find this a bit stressful. My best suggestion is to find someone who understands how your brain works so they won’t shame you if it gets in the way of you doing work and they can even help come up with new strategies for working more effectively. For example I often tell my penpal that I am doing homework because they believe in me but they also have issues focusing and staying calm sometimes so they understand if sometimes that stuff gets in the way. You can also just sit with someone very quietly and work next to them this is called “body doubling” and I find that if I am working while someone else is working I feel more motivated to work and less likely to go through social media, because frankly I don’t want them to see the weird crap that I google when I’m trying to avoid doing homework (way too many questions about the lore surrounding video games I’ve never played and have no intention to play, and many weird questions for my various creative writing projects.)
