Tbh I was very avoident of UWO because of the way they attacked Svali Speaks, their disgusting posts about Katy/Dylan Groves, and watching them attack survivors in their mentions. We had a post in our drafts about it we think we may post soon but this situation is new to us.
Unwelcome-ozian is an abuser
Here is a check list of common abuse tactics and Unwelcome ozian's perfect score. Reminder as of writing this the victim is a teenage girl, and was 15 when she began chatting with nwo.
Emotional abuse:
Silent treatment - refusal to communicate.
Gas lighting - playing victim after coercing a teenage girl to tell him more and then ghosting her. He implied he didn't want anything to do with her publicly after privately pushing her to talk to him .
Blame shifting / victim blaming - calling the girl obsessed after he manipulated her and trauma bonded her to them by love bombing and alternating between validating and ignoring her. Ignoring her for weeks and months after asking for updates, and then talking to them for 3 days, promising to read everything, then back to ignoring them despite her pleas to be acknowledged. Then using this trauma to further gas light and harm her by painting her as the aggressor.
Intentionally humiliating a teenage girl - putting her on blast, along with her deep personal traumas and thoughts, intimate details, and identifying information to his follows and the entire internet.
Manipulation:
Calculating - not responding to use the victim's emotional upset against her instead of asking her to stop. Using his followers to dox and humiliate her.
Hypocrisy - wanting others to respect his boundaries while violating other people's boundaries. Wanting others to compasionately consider his condition and mental emotional state while ignoring that of others, or better yet using it to insult and dismiss them.
Excuses - using sympathy for his trauma to avoid responsibility. Avoiding criticism (and growth) by acting as though anyone who takes issues with his behavior are trying to silence him, which is a disgrace to all that is being silenced, and further hypocrisy because he is the one who dismisses and silences so many other survivors.
Threats - saying he will post the (dox) stalkers papers again to another website multiple times after staff removed the content for violating community guidelines. Possibly suggesting he may sue the victim.
Stalking / hoovering - admitting to monitoring the victim's accounts, and saving their posts.
Validation/ supply - the people he is the warmest to are teenage girls who validate and adore him. I say this after speaking to many users. He gets a supply of validation and attention online and likely uses this justify himself and or soothe his extremely low self worth.
Lack of empthy - Cruelty and vengeance in his response. Not caring about the trauma he may have been inflicting or the long term damage to his young victim. Score keeping by looking for payback with a malicious attack on his victims reputation.
Lack of remorse - no accountability or acknowledgement of the pain and damages he inflicts. Instead of changing or growing for the better, this is a pattern continuing to develop and escalate.
Grooming:
Inappropriate boundaries - setting no boundaries on what the teenage girl can say or talk about with him one on one. This intimacy was wildly inappropriate.
Breaking boundaries - pushing her to continue when she wanted to stop.
Inappropriate displays of sexuality - responding to her and encouraging her after she calls him "Daddy", says "I love you", and "another part of me think you could never resist reading what I send you" directly after talking about experiencing sexual feelings. He replied saying he will not reject her
I don't like the pop psychology demonization of NPD, but Unwelcome-ozian himself explained there is a category of abuse specifically classified as 'narcissistic abuse', and this fits his behavior the best. Pedophilic narcissistic abuse.

Tatiana Maslany is set to star in The Nightbeast, a pilot for Amazon MGM Studios from Leah Rachel (Chambers) and Travis Jackson (Hemlock Grove).
Maslany will also produce the pilot that follows Amy, a young mother who is unsatisfied with her seemingly perfect suburban life, so she begins an affair with the boogeyman in her son’s closet – a surprisingly sexy man called the Nightbeast. But this harmless affair she thought to be a figment of her imagination begins to have unexpected consequences, as her two worlds increasingly begin to collide in this seductive, darkly comedic tale.

Well, there might not have been dancing on the tables but there was definetly a lot of awkward dancing by adults who have stopped caring what others think.
Anton excelled in the bar and Una had a great time catching up with her friends!

Kit still had to age up, as his daughter had decided to crash her father's birthday party.
After getting some rest, Kit and Penny made arrangements with the Sigworths, who were dying to meet the baby, to come over right after Christie got home from school. This time, Kit could blow out the candles on his cake and he finally aged up into a Young Adult.
While Jess was assessing this young man for the military career ("He'll be a fine recruit, very fine indeed. Oops, Dylan is over there. I love you, dear husband, I'm just looking, ok?"), Penny suddenly felt a little awkward. She hoped that romance would still be possible now that Kit was a Young Adult, because, plumbobs, he was hot.
As if he had heard her thoughts, Kit turned around to face her, winked at her and then put his arms around her. Romance would not be a problem. (just a little glitchy in the animations)
Aska had been asleep most of the time, but as soon as Penny heard some noises from the bedroom, she grabbed Jess and dragged her to her daughter's crib. "Isn't she absolutely perfect," she asked while beaming with love and pride as she carefully lifted Aska out of the crib.
Jess had to agree, completely enamoured by this little bundle of joy. "You two did great, Penny, she's a little gem. And remember, if you need anything, we're here for you. Dylan is a better parent than I, since I missed quite some time with Christie when I was on tours, but we will help you anytime."
Also, how cute is it the game gave me this pop-up when I ended the birthday party:

Kit did really miss his family, so far away on his birthday. But I imagine Sarah had made arrangements to ship a birthday gift to her brave son. As they both would be a little more housebound now the baby is born, Sarah gave Kit a laptop, so he could work and learn from home and Penny could work on her first book (yes, Sarah knows about that).

Riverside Grove Rebuild
Tumblr media
LOT: Riverside Grove (30x20), Strangerville Plaza, Strangerville LOT TYPE: Residential COST: § 96,849 KEY FEATURES: 2 bedrooms | 2.5 bathrooms | Open-plan kitchen/dining/living space | Home gym | Home office | Cat care area NOTES:
The exterior of this house was based on a deco building which came with the Strangerville pack. Like the Grunts’ house which I built earlier , all these shotgun/double-gallery houses are meant to be part of a military housing complex.
For the interior of this house, I tried to do a uniform but still cosy style which is halfway between what the Grunts’ house and the Smiths’ house look like.
There are also lots of floral motifs in the decor to allude to the infection by The Mother Plant.
More pics of their individual bedrooms here: Jess and Dylan, Christie.

'Oppenheimer is dominated by Cillian Murphy’s masterful performance as J. Robert Oppenheimer, with Emily Blunt and Robert Downey Jr. also doing outstanding work in the major roles of Oppenheimer’s wife, Kitty, and political rival, Lewis Strauss, respectively. But while the impressions left by these three loom largest, the film also features an extensive cast of supporting characters, without whom it would not be nearly as effective or comprehensive a story. The most crucial and fully developed of these secondary characters is General Leslie Groves, who is played in a vibrant and commanding manner by Matt Damon. Groves plays a central role in the plot and the against-type casting of Damon makes the character a dynamic and intriguing part of the film who exemplifies many of its main themes.
General Leslie Groves was the U.S. Army General in charge of the Manhattan Project during World War II. In 1942, he recruited Oppenheimer to lead the effort to create the atomic bomb, despite knowing about Oppenheimer’s associations with left-wing political groups including the Communist Party, which likely would have stopped other military officers from recruiting him. The film depicts the two men’s working relationship as complex. They clearly had tremendous amounts of respect for one another and were united in their determination to develop a bomb before Nazi Germany. Groves is also shown making efforts to insulate Oppenheimer from unnecessary bureaucracy and the suspicion other government officials have about him.
That said, the pair did clash on certain issues, such as Oppenheimer’s desire to bring his brother Frank (Dylan Arnold), a former Communist, onto the project and the need for compartmentalization, which many of the scientists felt made their jobs more difficult, although Oppenheimer ultimately abided by the military’s policies more faithfully than many of his peers. Oppenheimer also suspected that Groves may have recruited him specifically because of his left-wing background as this would make him easier to manipulate.
Groves Is One of 'Oppenheimer's Best Characters
Matt Damon’s performance and Oppenheimer’s writing work in concert to make General Leslie Groves a nuanced and compelling character. A point is made to mention Groves’ extensive educational background so that the viewer sees him as an intellectual equal to most of the scientists. He is characterized as a no-nonsense, sometimes intimidating figure. The disrespect and disobedience many of the scientists other than Oppenheimer show him earns him a degree of sympathy from the viewer, but his ruthlessness also makes him somewhat frightening at points.
When one scientist quits because of his frustration with the compartmentalization Oppenheimer asks Groves if he is concerned that the man will leak details of the secret project to the public. Groves states that he would have him killed before he could do so. After saying this he smiles and laughs, suggesting that he may have been joking, although it remains unclear if he really was or not. The viewer certainly believes he may have been capable of committing the deed if he believed it was in America’s best interest for him to do so. Groves’ ruthlessness is again demonstrated when he remains adamant that the U.S. must drop not one but two atomic bombs on Japan, despite Oppenheimer and others’ reluctance to actually use the weapons.
Why Is Groves an Unusual Matt Damon Role?
Playing Groves is something of a departure for Matt Damon. The A-list star has an image as one of the friendliest celebrities in Hollywood, and he usually plays more plainly likable characters. Some of his most famous roles include the title characters in Saving Private Ryan, who refuses to abandon his fellow soldiers despite the deaths of his brothers, and Good Will Hunting, a troubled but brilliant and lovable young man who the viewer wants to see succeed and overcome his demons. The assassin Jason Bourne was ruthless at one point in his life but throughout much of the four films Damon played him in was filled with remorse and sought justice. Even in The Departed, in which he played a corrupt police officer working for vicious mobster Frank Costello (Jack Nicholson), his charming personality and sense of humor made the viewer invest in him, to the point where some may have been rooting for the character to get away with his crimes. But the viewer’s preexisting investment in and affection for the actor actually helps Groves’ role in Oppenheimer achieve its desired effect.
One of the main ideas in the film is how paranoia about Communism and other left-wing ideologies turned the government against Oppenheimer, with and without the aid of Strauss’ manipulations. The hearing to determine whether or not Oppenheimer will keep his security clearance also explores the theme of personal loyalty. Many of his colleagues are given little choice but to testify in ways that damage his case for fear of damage to their own reputations and careers, while others choose to do so as payback for slights, real or imagined, they believe Oppenheimer committed against them. Groves’ testimony is the most obviously conflicted, but for different reasons.
There’s little threat that the general will himself be labeled a Communist but his dedication to following government regulations closely contrasts with his loyalty to Oppenheimer. Roger Robb (Jason Clarke) asks Groves if, under updated guidelines, he would still choose to hire Oppenheimer despite his knowledge of his left-wing past. Because of the viewer’s assumed prior exposure to Damon as a performer and the investment in Groves and Oppenheimer’s relationship the rest of the film has earned, one wants him to testify in a way that supports Oppenheimer. Unfortunately, he does admit that under the new guidelines, he would not hire Oppenheimer. But he then elaborates that he probably wouldn’t have hired any of the Manhattan Project scientists under said guidelines.
Groves’ testimony is a crucial part of the film that encapsulates many of its themes, and it works as well as it does because of how well-established Groves is as a character at this point. It shows the devastating influence of paranoia on government, as the new, Communist-fearing guidelines force the by the book Groves to testify against his respected colleague, which is extra devastating to movie lovers who hate to see a Matt Damon character take on an antagonistic role. However, Groves’ second statement points out the ridiculousness of the guidelines by implying that they would have made it difficult, maybe even impossible, for the bomb to be completed as needed during World War II. This act of defiance, like Strauss’ eventual failure to be confirmed as Secretary of Commerce, is one of the few notes of optimism in the mostly bleak ending of the film, a welcome reminder that not everyone can be corrupted by popular fears.'

Oppenheimer - Movie Review
Epic-maker movie “Oppenheimer”, directed by Christopher Nolan tells the story leading up to atom bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki towards the end of World War II that changed the course of history forever.  The film is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book “American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer” by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. Deeply heartrending…
