DoEs AnYonE KnOw WhaT tf HaPpEnEd to HIm!!!!
hello? cass you ok???? he didnt mention going on vakation.
did he abandon us??? is he tired???
No panic, okay, listen, Cass did send pretty long ago a link to their another account, she didn't disappear, she appears online and keeps creating great content with what she currently enjoys the most, I'm pretty sure she gets dozens of asks about how she does and if she doesn't answer it has a reason. I am a bit uncomfortable to ask people stuff like "how do you do" since for me it sounds a bit awkward, I see a post from that person and guess that they are okay, maybe posts under them have tags explaining if they are tired, resting or have too much work that has to be done and so on *whispering* You all were abandoned *evil laugh*
So yeah, just relax, search the link if you're really interested in the other content she creates since passionate comments to work give so much creation boost than just a few hollow tags, otherwise just look around and enjoy the stuff you like
#I speak mostly from what I see#Don't get me wrong but I'm used to the logic that when person gets quiet in one place that means that they do other stuff#Checking if the person is doing good is very good and might be mood lifting but don't overdo it since it might sound like a pressure#and it can push a person away#be crazy but polite#But mostly be polite since Cass mentioned also long ago that she'd like to rest from one kind of content

Hello, whats your opinion on this as a mai fan
I think this person is either misremembering the show or deliberately mischaracterizing what Mai, because what they're claiming she revealed on The Beach is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what she actually said.
She doesn't say "My parents used me as a pawn in their game to get close to royals" or "My parents never wanted me to learn anything about combat." She tells us that her parents will let her do whatever she likes - as long as she BEHAVES. As long as she's invisible. Out of sight, out of mind. They don't care what she does, as long as it doesn't affect them, as long as she's quiet. And that's what she says in an attempt to DOWNPLAY how bad her relationship with them actually is and how it affected her emotionally.
When Mai is complaining that she doesn't like Omashu because there's nothing for her to do, her mom doesn't try to talk to her about activities that could keep her busy/entertained, or show any concern about how she's adapting to moving to a whole new country, to a city where she doesn't know anyone. Instead, she ignores her daughter's attempts to talk about her feelings by reminding her that this is important for her father. There's no attempt to make this situation benefitial for her as well, it's all about how she needs to be grateful that someone else is happy about it.
Yes, when Tom-Tom is "kidnaped", they won't stop panicking, and are overjoyed when he's brought back safely. But there's not a word on them being concerned over Mai's well-being when she's leaving in a potentially dangerous mission. They don't show up to congratulate her at any point after she helps the Fire Nation conquer Ba Sing Se, even though that is a legendary feat. Favoritism much?
In book 3, literally the only adults we see in her home are servants, and considering one needs an airship to go to the island where the boiling rock is, it's pretty safe to say her uncle can't be dropping by too often. They let their 15-year-old daughter live in a different country, without any adult acting as her guardian - that's how much they don't care about her.
And speaking of her uncle, yes, he is doing a good job of being an attentive family member (is aware of her situation with Zuko, immediately lets her out of prison the second he knows he can get away with it) - but using that to claim "Thefore her family life is fine" is absurd because, again, that's her UNCLE, not her parents. By that logic, Zuko shouldn't be complaining about his family either, after all he has Iroh and somehow that is supposed to cancel out being raised by freaking Ozai, riiiiiiight?
And speaking of Zuko, there's a reason why, in a finale where everyone is being reunited with their family and friends, even when the travel time doesn't make any goddamn sense, Mai's happy ending involves a heartwarming reuining with him, and he's delighted to see her - but there's still nothing about her parents. Their daughter was sent to prison for life, then her boyfriend became Fire Lord giving them THE perfect chance to come rescue her, and they STILL are nowhere to be found.
For fuck's sake, AZULA showed more love for Mai than her parents did. Girl was clearly happy to see her again, and even gave her a "hug" that wasn't that touchy because Mai doesn't like it. In "The Lost Adventures" we find out that she was also the one who pushed for her and Zuko to get together (though that also ties into her knowing that was the only way to make Zuko come home despite his guilt over what he did to Iroh). Even on The Beach, she's the one who first connects the dots and realizes that Mai is always so aloof because she's used to being told to shut up when she says something inconvenient.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying her parents had no political ambitions (the Yang comics leaning into that was one of the few good things about his writting). Obviously they were happy that their daughter was best friends with the princess and dating the heir to the throne, and I'm sure Mai didn't appreciate being treated more as asset than as a daughter.
But her complaint was not about that. It was about how her parents are simply not part of her life at all. She's an outsider looking in. She can stand next to them and do as she's told, or she can leave. What she can't do is actually engage with them, mean anything to them, expect anything from them, rely on them at all.
Mai's parents are neglectful to a degree that, in the real world, could potentially have them lose custody of her because she consistently has to turn to literally anyone else instead of them whenever she needs anything.
Is it really any wonder she had a soft-spot for Zuko, aka the boy that is always disregarded by his father, to the point of literally being kicked out of his home, and is actually openly pissed off about it and will let everyone know it?

Request: How about some jealousy headcannons for Velvet , Eleanor, and Magilou?
(Tales of Berseria) Velvet, Eleanor, Magilou Jealousy HC's
Honestly, I was waiting until I had access to the skit sprites, and now that I have, it's time to UNLEASH the Berseria asks that's been laying dormant for nearly a year.
Velvet's jealousy is quiet, and very terrifying.
Thinking about it logically, she really shouldn't be that angry about S/O simply talking to other people than her.
She was a Daemon after all. And yet, S/O chose to stay with her despite that.
And right now, they were doing anything but that.
It takes a long while for the jealousy to build up, but it's nearly ready to blow up.
S/O notices her glaring at them, and the person they're talking to.
After a few moments, Velvet realizes she's staring and quickly looks away, acting like nothing is happening.
S/O walks after her, with Velvet continuing to walk despite her name being called.
(S/O) "Velvet?"
(Velvet) "What?"
(S/O) "Are you alright?"
She stops walking and glares at them again.
(Velvet) "Fine. Why?"
(S/O) "You...just looked a little angry is all-"
Her eyes narrow as her fists clench.
(Velvet) "A little?"
(S/O) "O-Okay, really angry! I'm sorry I haven't had much time for you lately, I've just been trying to get supplies and-"
(Velvet) "I said it's fine. Better for us to be stocked up anyway than wasting time."
She tries to play it off, but S/O knows her better than anyone at this point.
(S/O) "Well, I could use your help carrying some of it back to our rooms. And...I'd like to have some time alone with you, actually. There's this pretty spot near the inn we can sit down at!"
Velvet simply sighs and her shoulders relax a little.
Choosing to not mention the blush on her cheeks, S/O gently grabs her hand and squeezes it for reassurance.
Velvet says nothing else and lets them hold it for a few more seconds before slowly letting go.
(Velvet) "Come on, show me where we're putting the supplies."
Eleanor feels guilty for even thinking about being jealous.
The two of them were busy, especially on a journey like this, romance was almost impossible. She knew this, and yet...
Eleanor pouts when she sees S/O speaking to the other members of the group and goes off to be alone for a moment.
Maybe some fresh air would clear her head.
The sun was about to set, watching it glisten along the coastline they were on.
(Eleanor) "Maybe during the voyage, we could...-"
(S/O) "Eleanor?"
Eleanor nearly jumps out of her skin when she hears S/O voice come from behind.
(S/O) "Are you okay? You look upset."
(Eleanor) "A-Ah...Don't worry I-..."
Eleanor thought S/O was too busy to notice her lately, yet the fact they noticed her leaving in a crowded inn made her guilt grow.
She cuts herself off before simply sighing and clearing her throat.
(Eleanor) "I'd like to get dinner with you, if you don't mind."
(S/O) "Oh, sure. I can grab the others and-"
S/O immediately noticed Eleanor's body posture change, both her hands going behind her back.
S/O gently smiles at her before nodding.
(S/O) "There's nothing wrong with being a little selfish. Where do you want to go? My treat, tonight."
Eleanor smiled back and nodded.
(Eleanor) "I recall seeing an interesting food stand in town. Perhaps they're still open?"
Magilou doesn't really get that jealous.
She knows when people are lying or being serious.
She also is very much aware of herself, and how she truly feels.
Not to mention the incredible circumstances she and S/O found themselves in, going to assassinate a world leader.
With that being said, it would be remiss of her to not embarrass her S/O at every opportunity.
That was a sign of true love!
S/O is simply talking to Eizen regarding the Van Eltia.
And that was the time to strike.
(Magilou) "S/OOOOOOOOOOO!"
Magilou called out for S/O's name as she extended her hands and nearly tackling them to the floor.
Barely fending Magilou off of them, S/O stared at Magilou who began flailing at them.
Eizen gives Magilou an extremely unamused look while S/O tries to shut her up, with everyone looking at their direction.
The crew, port workers, the rest of the group, everyone's attention was on them.
(S/O) "W-What are you doing, Magilou?!"
(Magilou) "You barely spend time with me at all lately! As your beloved, I demand that you give me attention too!"
(S/O) "We were literally just talking ten minutes ago!"
(Magilou) "It's not enough!"
(Eizen) "Are you done? S/O has to get the supplies on the ship before sunset."
(Magilou) "This is a matter of the heart, Eizen! You wouldn't understand, for you do not possess a maiden of your own!"
(S/O) "I'll talk with you once I'm done, Magi! Just give me a few-"
(Magilou) "UGH! You wound me, S/O!"
(Velvet) "I'm about to give you a wound if you keep this noise up."
(Magilou) "Believe me, you'll understand my feelings once you have someone to call your own!"

I've seen a few ppl talk about this but I'd also like to!!! so!!!!
Jason and Annabeth would've made better "rivals" out of the seven than Percy and Jason.
if it is absolutely necessary to have a set of rivals in the seven, which it really isn't, it would've made more sense for Jason and Annabeth.
okay, I know Jason and Percy are children of the big three, Zeus and Poseidon, who don't really get along, but why does that mean Percy and Jason can't? if they'd had more time and weren't basically brainwashed into disliking each other, I think they'd have become really close friends.
Percy's humour evens out Jason's lack thereof (though he definitely does have a sense of humour in there somewhere, he was just never given the chance to find it), and as we saw a few times, they were really powerful when they fought together. Jason is logical and cautious, Percy is impulsive and quick. they even each other out. if anything, they should've been closer friends than any of the seven.
ok, back to the rivalry. so, it's said multiple times during MoA that Annabeth never really trusted Jason. she thought (correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a while since I read the books) Jason was too controlled and quiet.
also, Jason and Annabeth probably have more in common than any other duo from the seven, and that's not even their physical descriptions.
they're both smart and logical, preferring to think things through properly before making decisions, and they both use this during battle, for example.
Annabeth never really trusting Jason could've also added to their rivalry; it would've made her more apprehensive of everything he said, right? so, just imagine the seven getting into a rough situation and needing somebody with brains to figure it out. of course, we have Annabeth, daughter of Athena, who's known for being smart; but you also have Jason, son of Jupiter, who is cautious, careful, and logical. imagine they come to different conclusions, and argue about which is right.
their rivalry would've been so cool! two super smart people getting different answers for the same situation, both seemingly right, but who's do the seven follow through with? the natural choice would be Annabeth, who is, again, a daughter of Athena, who is the goddess of wisdom. it could've added to the story; having Leo and Piper side with Jason's answer, for example, and having Frank, Hazel, and Percy side with Annabeth.
but with Percy and Jason's so-called "rivalry," that really made no sense because they hardly knew each other, it's just two awkward and powerful 16 year olds, whose dislike for each other stems from their godly parents not getting along. it makes no sense. especially because Percy isn't the type of person to judge people based on their godly parents, so why would he have a pointless rivalry with someone just because his dad and their dad aren't exactly best friends? it doesn't seem like a very Percy Jackson thing to do, in my opinion.
so yeah. I think it would've made more sense to put a rivalry between two characters who have more in common, over two people who literally met yesterday and don't know anything about each other (except, of course, Jason hearing about the 'all-powerful Percy Jackson' stuff from CHB). I really do think that a rivalry in general wasn't necessary, and it didn't really add anything solid to the plot or storyline.
#also jason doesnt seem like the type to be bitter over hearing about percy's power#if anything he'd probably just be amazed#i wish we got to see more of annabeth and jason's dynamic because they had so much potential#percy and jason would've could've should've been best friends#argue with the wall#but yes an annabeth and jason rivalry wouldve been amazing!!!#if a rivalry was needed at all#percy jackon and the olympians#percy jackson#pjo#annabeth chase#jason grace#hoo#heroes of olympus#riordanverse#riordan universe

Corrupted by Darkness
- Chapter 6 -
Chapter 5 ; Wattpad ; AO3
A/N: Heyy... sorry for not updating... Work and Uni were occupying me... But here it issss the next chapter :) Thank you so much for reading and for your feedback the past days <3
'What are you starring at?' Xaden smirks.
'Garrick's arms' I respond and smile to myself when I see Xaden glancing to his left at Garrick , while flexing his own arms.
"Ready for flying lessons?" I ask my friends and steal a pice of the apple Rhi was just cutting.
"That's the only thing I'm exited for today." Rhi sighs.
"Honey, we need to study later. No buts." I laugh.
"Has any of you seen Dain tho?" Liam asks.
"Nooo... I need my flying break." Rhi whines.
"Let's just go to the field and see if he's there." I suggest, hoping as much as Rhi that we get that break. Or more to get a break to fake that everything's fine.
Talking about Liam's embarrassing childhood story's we make our way to the flying field.
"Liam. A worm isn't an acceptable gift for the girl you liked." Rhi laughs.
"I was 5 okay?!" Liam defends himself, walking a bit faster and turning around to face Rhi, while continuing to walk backwards. "As a little boy a worm is something cool so I wanted to gift the girl something cool? That's just logical?"
"It is not logical." Ridoc agrees.
"He's always been strange." Another voice joins our conversation and I immediately roll my eyes. Not him please.
"You are supposed to be on my side Riorson." Liam points his finger to the person behind us.
"I'm on no ones side here." He answers and laughs.
"What are you even doing here." I look over my shoulder glancing at him.
"Being a good wingleader and taking over your flying lessons, since Dain's not able to make it."
"What's wrong with him?" Ridoc asks and turns to his left, looking at Xaden who's by now walking next to us.
"Didn't care enough to ask." Xaden shrugs. 'And I never seen Noctis in action.'
Rolling my eyes I look ahead on the filed, where our dragons already landed. Or to be more precise their dragons already landed, mine not.
'Where are you?' I ask him.
'Discussion.' He answers shortly.
'And how am I supposed to be flying now?'
'Non of you will if I don't finish this discussion so be quiet now.' And he cuts me off.
"Where's Noctis?" Rhi asks and looks around.
"Discussion." I repeat what he told me and roll my eyes at her.
"What with who?" Rhi asks confused.
"Sgaeyl." Xaden sighs.
"Sga- why?" I look up at him.
"Oh he didn't told you?" He raises his eyebrows.
"Told me what?"
"You could say that he's her .... Well.. ex." He says and looks at me desperately.
"Dragons have Ex's?" Liam asks and looks up to his dragon, which seems to nod. Before I can ask Xaden what that means, a sound close to thunder echos though the field. The other dragons shield there riders while moving backwards. Looking up, there's a giant navy blue dragon and a swirl of dark shadows.
"Someone's dying today." I sigh and run my hand over my head. Sgaeyl and Noctis land simultaneously on the field, Noctis still not fully materialized. The other dragons jump backwards as the two of them make their way over to us, teeth snapping at each other.
"For once I agree with you." Xaden looks down at me, his eyes showing the same distress mine do.
'You know the saying's ladies first, right?' I roll my eyes at him, which results in a now fully materialized teeth snapping at me.
With a sigh I crawl up on Noctis back and open my connection to Xaden, 'Okay how are we going to survive this?' I ask him. 'Well... let him fly behind Sgaeyl and she'll be fine.' He suggests. 'Okay good for her and you, but not for me?' - 'Not my problem.' Xaden laughs and Sgaeyl immediately takes off into the sky.
If it wasn't for Noctis keeping my up, I would have fallen off of him by the way he shoots up in the air.
'COULD YOU CALM DOWN?' I scream at him.
______
Looking at the water on my nightstand I sigh. I'm thirsty... but is it really worth it moving my body to reach it? Every muscle in my body hurts. The flying lesson was pure torture, I fell off of him about four times, not counting the one I his magic kept me on him, while I was dangerously slipping to one side. Trying to rob up a bit, I almost scream at how much my arms hurt. The water is definitely not worth it.
'Noctis..?'
'Hello?'
'Are you for real still ignoring me?'
'...what do you want.' Noctis deep voice echos through my head.
' For you to talk to me.'
'Well it's a clear night isn't it?'
'It is. So what happened between you and Sgaeyl?'
'Nothing that should interest you.' he mumbles.
'Oh please says the one that's always getting involved in my life.' I roll my eyes, ' Noctis...you've been there for me before so I'm here for you too if you need me.' I say softly. He's always been alone for god who knows how many centuries. I get that he's used to dealing with stuff on his own,..., and that opening up isn't the thing he tends to do... funny enough he kind of reminds me of me of Azriel. Immediately after he crosses my mind again, i feel a sting in my heart.
'Please stop thinking about him. You're too good to be treated that way.' Noctis answers, his voice way more softly than usual.
'I know I know...' I sigh and nuzzle deeper into my pillow.
'We had something ...' Noctis suddenly says.
'Xaden mentioned she's your Ex?' I ask.
'Well yeah you could say that...I ended things with her...not in the nicest way.'
'That explains why she's so mad at you.' I laugh, 'Why did you end it?'
'I started to like her...' he grumbles.
'Noctis. You're telling me you ended things with her... because you liked her?! I should slap you in her behalf.'
'As if I'd even feel that.' He huffs, ' But yes i did.' His voice sounds nostalgic now.
'You still feel like you made a mistake...' I whisper, his feelings flowing over to me.
' I promised to wait for someone. She saved my life a long time ago... our souls are linked.'
'She's your mate?' I asked.
'More than the mates you know... or the ones other dragons know.'
'Where is she now?'
'She locked herself away... she lost faith in this earth and well... in herself.' I waited for him to continue, not daring to interrupt him now.
'We can share our powers and one day, she took some of mine. It was an unspoken agreement between us, that we keep our powers balanced. I was mad at her and left her for a some years, retracing myself from every fae or humankind. Things got worse... the power was too much for her and she lost control. I tried to help her, saving her from herself...' I feel like crying, all of his emotions are too much for me.
'Fae and Humans agreed to a pact trying to kill me... they thought I was the reason for all the wrongs they lived through. Before you ask, their spell couldn't kill me... she didn't need to do all of that... San didn't need to kill all of them.' The last part of his sentence, is barely more than a whisper now.
'San?' I carefully ask.
'Sanguis. That's her full name.' The way he says her name sounds like a prayer, 'She killed everyone who was there. They started bleeding until there was nothing left.'
'Bleeding? As in...' Despite my arching muscles I shoot up in my bed.
'Yes... the blood manipulation is her power. You're... you're bonded to her as well.'

An Americano Please Part 4
Word count: 1819 A/N: pretty dialogue heavy chapter. No huge TW's as far as I can tell
Y/N's POV
11 AM rolls around and I'm standing in front of Jenna's apartment complex, anxiously tapping my foot on the ground.
It's a nice day today, not a lot of clouds, which is rare for Autumn here.
"Morning," a familiar voice says. I look up to see Jenna smiling at me, her long black hair swaying with the slight breeze.
"Hey, how'd ya sleep?" I ask.
"Pretty good, I was really tired," she tells me, pushing her bangs out of her eyes.
"Yeah, working a much as you seem to tends to have that effect," I chuckle.
"I guess it does, but it's not like I can just stop working," she reminds me.
"I get that, everyone needs a job in this day and age," I agree.
"You- you have a leaf in your hair," she giggles.
"I do?" I ask, feeling around my scalp to try and find it.
"Here, let me just..." she gets up on her tip-toes and pulls the leaf from my hair. I find it impossible to conceal my obvious blush.
"All good?" I ask.
"Yep," she smiles.
"Shall we walk?"
"Lead the way."
We start to walk down the street, quiet at first. Neither of us really know what to say.
"So how come you speak English?" Jenna asks out of the blue.
"Oh, I grew up in an English speaking country, but my parents read in some magazine that raising children bilingually makes them smarter. Turns out they happened to know Romanian, so I kinda just grew up speaking both languages," I explain.
"I see," she replies.
"They were wrong, by the way."
"Huh?" she inquires.
"It didn't make me smarter, just a more valuable asset to cafe staffs," I joke.
"Ok, that makes sense," she giggles, "so why'd you come here?"
"Who knows, maybe it was to cover up an elaborate crime," I say blankly, "do you speak any other languages?"
"No, just English, but I know a really small amount of Spanish," she confirms, "but I have to know more. Did you murder someone? Am I your next victim?"
"No don't worry," I laugh, "I wouldn't do that to anyone."
We walk a little more in silence, with me pointing out little landmarks as we go.
"That's Casa Zuzulache (this is literly a real place I found it on snapmap) it's an old motel, for some reason it shows up as a night club on a lot of maps though. Confuses a lot of tourists," I chuckle.
"Yeah, I can imagine," she laughs along, "like, you walk into what you think will be the time of your life and all you see is a tired old person behind a desk!"
We laugh as we continue to walk, I don't know when it started, but at some point, she had slipped her hand into mine, and hadn't moved it since. Normally when someone I like does this, I feel an anxious sort of butterflies, but this. This just feels... right.
"There's Freya House, it's also a hotel, but it has a decent restaurant. Apparently the soup is bad, but most things I've had there are pretty good."
"Good to know. I haven't gone out to eat much since I've been here. Most places can't accommodate vegans," she says.
"Oh you're vegan!" I exclaim, "no wonder you kept ordering oat milk. I just thought you were really gay!"
She bursts out laughing, "I'm probably some for of gay, but yeah. I'm a vegan." Okay, so by that logic I probably have a chance with her.
"Where do you film?" I ask, "I could give you some nearby food recommendations."
"That'd be great!" she smiles, "I film at Cantacuzino Castle!"
"Dang," I tell her, "that's pretty cool. It's so beautiful there! As for restaurants:If you have cash to spend, I recommend Canta Cuisine. It's a really nice restaurant. Really plays into the whole 'castle' vibe."
"Ooh cool, you'll have to take me," she grins.
"Bold of you to assume I have the money, haha!" I laugh
"Anywhere else?"
"There's a pretty good pizza place called Eidolon that I'm sure has vegan options."
"If they have fake cheese, I'll go," she laughs, "so what do you like to do around here?"
"My friend Nessa and I like to go to Eidolon every other Friday," I start, "there's not a whole lot to do around here. A lot of the time I just watch TV, feed my betta, work, and go for walks."
"Oh my gosh, you have a betta?" she asks.
"Yeah, her name's cupid!"
"Can I meet her?"
"Sure, I'll take you by my place in a bit if you want," I offer.
"I'd like nothing more," she smiles, "so where are we going right now?"
"You'll see," I reply mysteriously.
"Oh my god you really are gonna murder me, aren't you," she laughs, her eyes lighting up.
"Now why would I murder someone as gorgeous and charismatic as yourself?" I smirk.
"You think I'm gorgeous?" she raises an eyebrow.
"Uhh, yeah. Have you seen yourself?"
"No, I'm a vampire and can't see my reflection," she deadpans.
"Very funny," I respond matching her deadpan, "I don't think you meet the height requirement for vampires though." I reach down to pat her head.
She pouts, letting go of my hand and playfully shoving me, "hey! that's not fair!"
"Okay, I'm sorry," I fake offense.
"You better be." We continue to walk in a comfortable silence until we get to where I want to show her.
It's about thirty minutes of walking, and the block before we get there, I playfully cover her eyes.
"What's going on?" she inquires hesitantly.
"I don't wanna spoil the surprise!" I reply innocently.
"Okay then." We continue to walk the last block before I finally uncover her eyes.
"Behold," I start to say, "the only English bookstore in Busteni Romania!"
"Oh my god, you're the most amazing human being I have ever met!" she exclaims, practically dragging me through the door.
"You said you liked to read so I assumed this would be fun for you," I tell her.
"Are you kidding? This is the best place ever!" she rushes over to the nearest shelf like a kid in a candy store. I knew this would be a good idea. Her adorable smile tells me just how thrilled she is.
"You're my new favorite person!" she announces. I feel a deep blush creeping up my face.
Jenna frantically searches the shelves, taking a book here and there, but mostly just looking, "I'm gonna come here any chance I get!"
"Mind if I join you from time to time?"
"Only if you bring me coffee," she giggles, she has the cutest laugh, "just kidding, you can join me anytime."
"I just might take you up on that offer." Now it's her turn to blush.
We stay in the bookstore for about an hour, looking at practically every shelf. By the end, we have more books than we can possibly count.
"Today was really fun, thank you," Jenna smiles, taking my hand in hers.
"Of course, and hey, now you know Busteni a little more!"
"So, are we going to your place or what?" she asks.
"Okay, okay," I laugh, "let's go."
It's not more than a five minute walk from the bookstore to my apartment, which is really nice.
We spent most of the walk in a comfortable silence, enjoying each other's company.
"Ladies first," I joke, holding the door to the complex for her as we walk inside.
"Woooow, how chivalrous," she laughs along, "cool building."
"Thanks, I guess."
We walk up the painfully steep stairwell to my apartment, Jenna insisted on not taking the elevator, so stairs were the only other option.
"Here's my place," I tell her, unlocking the door. My apartment's not huge, but it's not tiny either. It's a one bedroom with a nicely sized kitchen, perfect for me.
"Wow nice kitchen!" she exclaims, "I should have known you'd have your own espresso machine."
"What can I say, I love my job," I joke, "nah this thing's ancient, but it works great."
"You have a cool place. My apartment doesn't feel like a home yet, more like a hotel room," she confesses.
"Well maybe it's because you haven't made it yours yet," I suggest, "why don't you try decorate it more to your tastes? That is, unless you already have."
"No, I'm barely unpacked, I've hardly lived here for a month."
"Well if you ever need a hand unpacking, give me a call," I smile.
"Okay, I'll take you up on that offer. Now where's this betta fish you were telling me about?"
"Cupid's over here," I guide her towards my bedroom.
"Damn, taking me to bed already. This is moving pretty fast," she laughs.
"Get your mind out of the gutter!" I blush, "Cupid's just in my room." I open the door so she can see the tank.
"Oh my god she's amazing. I used to have a one," she says.
"What happened to yours?" I inquire.
"He jumped out of the tank and suffocated," she says sadly.
"I'm so sorry, that's terrible," I reply, squeezing her hand.
"Probably my first heartbreak," she laughs.
"So what do you wanna do?" I ask.
"I don't know," she admits, "do you want to watch a movie?"
"Sure!" I say, "what are your thoughts on horror?"
"I love horror! You know I've actually been in a few horror movies?"
"That's sick!" I exclaim, "which ones?"
"The new scream, which has yet to come out, and another one called 'X,'" she tells me.
"Scream's a great franchise, it's so cool that you got to be part of it," I compliment her, "I'll try to watch those movies when they come out for sure."
"Oh my god don't," she grimaces, "it's so embarrassing."
"Okay, I just won't tell you if I do," I smirk.
"What were you thinking of watching right now?" she changes the subject.
"There's a new trilogy out called Fear Street if you'd be interested in that? The first takes place in the nineties apparently."
"Sounds fun. I love nineties and eighties music," she confesses.
So that's how we spend our evening, watching the whole entire amazing trilogy.
.... a few hours later ....
"It's getting late, will you walk me home?" she asks.
"Of course," I respond, helping her up from the couch.
We walk home avidly discussing what we had just watched.
"And that reveal with Sarah? Incredible!" she exclaims, "no one would have seen that coming!"
"Exactly! Like, everything you had seen up to that point was just the opposite of what was actually true," I agree.
"Okay but Deena's music taste is phenomenal," Jenna adds, "like it's just so..." she tries to explain the concept but there's really no words to exclaim how good the first movie's soundtrack was.
"And the Cindy and Alice sidestory?" I bring up, "like, so realistic, so queer coded, all around amazing."
"Yeah the representation of so many groups was really well done," she concludes.
"Well, this is my place," she says when we get to her apartment. I wish today would never end.
"Thank you for today, Y/N," she smiles, "I had such a good time, and you made it really special." She gets up on her tip-toes to kiss my cheek. We both stare at each other blushing.
"Good night, Jenna," I squeeze her hand, "It was nice getting to know you."
"I'll stop by the shop for coffee tomorrow, pretty girl," she winks, walking off into the building.
Today was a great day.

hello, so I'm questioning if I'm autistic so i can reach out for a diagnosis maybe, and i saw another person do this so i wanted to try it out
i wrote a list of some of the things i think that are autistic traits about me and if anyone would like to please read them and tell me if they could be autism or maybe smth else? lol, just as a big favour really. I'll give more context if any is needed, thanks so much!!
also please reblog for reach if you want to, thank you
ts bellow the cut :]
- stimming ( twirling and braiding hair, used to suck on my own hair as a kid, rocking back and forth, doing ??? weird stuff with ny mouth and fingers lol, moving legs a lot)
- echolalia; internal, repeating phrases and songs on my head, but also doing sounds with my mouth
- always feeling like an outsider. This wasn't bad for me as a kid since i was very into creepypastas and media related to being an outcast, i never related it to something bad until adolescence which im still in, and I'm more insecure now about it.
- also, very extroverted as a kid, didn't get social cues and was offensive sometimes
- couldn't and still can't control my strength very well ( sometimes things fall out of my hands or i touch someone harder than i wanted to)
- sensitive skin, to heat cold and pain
- very talkative, as a baby was LITERALLY born babbling
- not good at eye contact, either do way too much or way too little
- terrible at maths (jst not logical to me??? dk how people find them logical )
- kinda restrictive interests but no special interests
- very picky as a child, fav foods were salted noodles with ketchup or by themselves. ( still can't stand some foods and mixing some foods together )
- horrible coordination and balance: didn't learn to tie my shoes correctly, how to ride a bike or how to swim, i bought wheelies and cant use them because my balance is horrible, i run weird (like a baby kind of) and I'm always stumbling on my own feet
- again, didn't learn some stuff until grown: didn't know how to shower correctly or make my bed ( could be due to being very taken care of as a kid, aka my mom didn't let me do stuff by myself )
- terrible spacial awareness: again, stumbling with my own feet, waddling like a penguin when i walk with my friends lol
- bad perception of time
- got upset when things didn't go my way
- ran away when kids were being too loud but didn't mind big performances loud spaces
loud THUDS or sudden noises however startle me, scare me and stress me out: was and still am kind of afraid of balloons, shouting people and loud thuds. As a baby i cried when someone spoke too loudly
- lately I'm much more sensitive to stimuli than i was, could be due to heightened stress in my life: badly done beds make me want to cry, crumbs on the bed feel like hell, heat and sweating are hell, some months ago i cried because my sunglasses and headphones weren't working and there were too many sounds, my head it hurted and everything felt wrong, sent me into a kind of crisis.
- don't think I'm overly empathetic, but i have a strong sense of justice and get very upset and ill about injustices.
related to that, movies and shows that require a lot of stress i don't like, they make me feel ill and i prefer spoilers when it's like that, i get too nervous.
- socially awkward and don't know how to keep conversations going, at least small talk.
- although i used to talk a lot, nowadays i prefer to stay quiet sometimes.
- i get VERY angry and frustrated but it goes away kind of quickly?
-i used to be very loud and I still dont know how to control my tone of voice ( how loud or quiet i am) and i spoke in a very high pitched voice as a child
- i used to read a lot, went to the library in the recess instead of hanging out all the time with kids and used some complicated words that my parents didn't know i knew
- all my life i only had one close friend ( not the same, but always one)
- i think i had a specific routine of morning
- i have a hard time concentrating and being organized
- i make plans for myself in the night and get upset when OTHERS interrupt it but not when i do
- hard time knowing when to pee and when to eat
- again sensory issues, some foods make me want to puke, and wet, sticky or extremely dry hands are disgusting. Also, light touches feel like anger.
- as a kid I repeatedly watched stuff, ended up boring my family because i only wanted to watch that multiple times
- sensory seeker as a kid kind of, slept with my feet up, danced a lot (stimming?)
-i get irritated easily and can hurt people verbally
- don't know if related but i sometimes very anxious, get upset about not saying goodbye correctly to certain people, as a kid i used to cry and didnt want to go to school because of a "bad feeling" that smth bad was gonna happen, could be anxiety.
i absolutely sure there's more, but I don't wanna keep typing
just to finish, most of my circle is neurodivergent. And family wise, my sister is audhd, one cousin and uncle are autistic, my mom has adhd and two of my cousins are suspected autistic.

HEAR ME OUT-
I have come from the abyss to make a proposition.
We all know the ikemen series can get admittedly a little interchangeable with some of the thems and characters. Not that there all the same by any means, but you could most definitely switch up the cast without sacrificing too much plot, or atmosphere. So, a little worm crawled in brain a while back and refuses to die so...I guess I'll pass it along....
You might've seen the Villains/Prince card gotcha colab they did a month or more ago with Jude and Liam. It was relatively well received, yet I'm servierly disappointed this concept hasn't been played around with much in the respective fandoms.
So, since Cybird gave us some princely villains, I've come armed and prepared with the alternative.
"But the princes are all to sweet to become villains!" you cry.
Oh, ho, ho~ How wrong you would be.
The curses of the Crown members actually correspond with the personalities of the Rhodolite princes quiet nicely and we must remember that they fundamentally change how one naturally goes about their life. It's an entirely different mental strain that I think in the cases such as Leon's (whose self righteousness is glorified in its own right) could bring out some juicey aspects of their character we wouldn't otherwise see. (Honestly Leon was too perfect, I kept wondering when he was gonna go savage, nope...never did. I really want him to go all William on some evil...if that makes any sense.) Not to mention we'd go from the "we care because we're family" group dynamic, to the "well, shit i guess we're sorta family" dynamic. (Chevalier and Clavis being begrudging childhood friends working as business partners? Yes please!)
So we got (as I see it)-
A monarch-Leon
Fox- Nokto
Mirror- Clavis
Fairy- Chevalier
Huntsman- Jin
Throns- Luke
Sariel fulfills the role of the tall, dark, and dominating leader. (Not that Victor is...wait, nope, wedding event. Epilog)
The only issue I had was with Yves and Licht. They just don't fit, right? I mean honestly-oh, wait....
These curses change their holders more than any of the others. Really-would Elbert be a normally traumatized dude without his obsession with beauty? And Liam...
Well, that something else completely- but back to Yves.
My conflict regarding him came from the initial comparison I made between him and Liam. They’re nearly opposites when you think about it, or at least not the neat squeeze the others were logically beyond them both being cat-coded, until...
The fits.
This curse is particularly sinister due to them and it was when I began to think of the fits it all came together, ish...it's not like I've really flushed it out or anything.
Yves can't kill.
It's a horrific embarrassment for him as a member of the queen's secret army, of course, one the others make do to point out early in Emma's stay as fairytale keeper.
"We know how to cover eyes, just fine. Don't we Yves-ie boy?"
He grunts, pout twisting into a snarl. "I've never closed my eyes! I can stand it all just fine, thank you! I just like to have a little control over myself, unlike some people!"
"Aw, but what's the fun in that? Don't you ever want a taste of the 'darkness'," Calvis snickered, fingers quoting the air.
"I taste enough as it is, thank you."
"So you really haven't..killed? Her guts lurched, rejecting the abnormality of the sentence.
"What-of course I've killed! I'm apart of Crown! You saw us murder a man, remember?"
"It was mostly Leon," Licht flatly chimed.
Yves shot him a glare full of daggers. "The point is that I have-"
"Not on purpose." The room stopped, turning toward Nokto and his silver smirk. "It's why you joined, isn’t it? How’s it going by the way? Any trouble with the fits?"
Not everyone is rude about it. Actually, there's an overwhelming amount of support working in the background. They give him important, granted safe, missions that allow him to explore and exploit his curiosity without fear of cracking under the weight of it. Our princey boys would be a lot more resistant to their curses than our villain babes. In Yves case, he is so repressive he lives in fear of zooting out everyday for a whole different reason than Liam.
Liam's fits are connected to anxiety, grief, depression, guilt...
Well for Yves it's fear primarily. Don't get me wrong, there's self-loathing in there, but it's almost like a defense. So, due to events of the past that would be drawn out over the course of 18 chapters, he is terrified to kill, yet has and certainly will, but avoids doing so at all costs. (Which some of the others secretly respect him for. )
He takes it upon himself to survey Emma as fairytale keeper-to ensure her competence, NOT because the situation sucks and she must be so scared and everyone’s so scary-
Then of course it becomes exclusive, because he's safe and the missions are easy...
Until it's not.
He wants a challenge, something really plump to sink his teeth into. (Emma has really done a number on his confidence at this point.) They give it to him and it goes well, that is until one of the left over thugs, (which ever one tried to have a monolog, you know) grabs Emma when he's distracted. The situation turns, some of the dudes are up. They rough him around, threaten her, that sorta thing, then one pushes him down.
"You might as well go home kitty, you can't do shit to us."
He gets up, hand grazing the touch of metal at his side. It slips from its leather bed. He approaches the bastard tormenting Emma and plunges his knife between his neck and spine. One guy tries to get him by the shoulders; he turns and stabs him in the gut. The rest back away, he steps forward, both hands clinging to the now dripping blade-
And lunges.
Emma doesn't even have time to breathe.
(Does it look like Yves? Probably not, but for a 15 minute 2am pen-sketch it's okay. It's actually what inspired me to write this whole thing.)
He twirls around to face her, so, so happy and it takes everything not to scream. She smiles instead, moving towards his open arms, her own broadly spread.
"You did it!" Her body collapses against him, trembling. "That man, he-I...thank you."
Something dark passed through his gaze, then sank into the crook of her neck. "You're welcome..."
So yeah that's what I got. Cool, ay? Come on, it'd be fun....
Still unsure abut Licht, kinda feel like you might have to make up a curse for him. Big bad wolf or something...more or less to match Nokto. They are twins after all.
Welp thanks for reading if did!
Peace~

could i get prompt 13 and 14 with george x fem!reader
—mirrorball
pairing: george x reader
summary: george is struggling, but able to tell the reader what’s been going on with him
warnings: none
prompts: are bold
George was sitting in the living room of portland row, working on a crossword puzzle
"hey" you greeted, as you sat down next to him. "how are you?"
"I'm good, why'd you ask?" he didn't even look up from his writing.
"you have been quiet these past few days, I'm worried. I mean you would tell me if anything was wrong, right?" George nodded absently "sure" his voice sounded drained and you weren't even sure of he had listened to you.
"George" you dragged out his name and poked his side with your fingers "speak with me, please"
"what do you want to hear?" he sounded tired, and you regretted your playful manner to treat the situation.
"I want to hear, what you have to say" you answered, honestly and serious "I want you to tell me what's bothering you, so I can get rid of it"
"I don't think you could get rid of Lockwood and Lucy" he breathed, writing down the word 'attention', before he looked up at you for the first time. "that'd be illegal. because that's murder"
"ehh" you made, unsure what to answer "Lockwood and Lucy are what's bothering you?"
"no, not particularly them. its just, they leave me out of the stuff most of the time, I"ve gotten used to it by now, but still"
"oh George" you smiled sadly "you could've told me sooner. do you have the feeling I leave you out of stuff too?"
he shrugged "sometimes, but I know you don't do it on purpose, just like they don't"
you heart nearly broke upon hearing his words and tears welled up in your eyes. "I wish I had known, George. i'm so sorry" you squeezed his hand
he shrugged again. "most of the time I don't mind. but sometimes I feel lonely" he paused "i've tried to keep up, change those things about myself that differentiate myself from you three. be more reckless like Lockwood, brave like Lucy and adventurous like you, but it just isn't as easy as I thought it would be"
he looked up to you once again and a single tear escaped his eye. "I thought if I changed, I would fit in better"
"you fit in just right" you assured
"I don't know" George shook his head "back when Lockwood founded the agency he only had me, and he needed me. but now, he has Lucy and you and you can do what I could and even more, you're smart and you're good at fighting ghosts. I lack the second quality" he shrugged with a half smile on his face "no one would care if I suddenly disappeared"
you shook your head, tears screaming down your face "I would"
George's words broke your heart. not only how he felt, but that he come to a conclusion where he found it absolutely logical that he wasn't needed. that he didn't fit in and would never. you knew about his family. the brothers that had, in his eyes, achieved so much more than him. you had hoped that it would be different for him here. he was needed and loved and he was a part of this.
"please stop acting like there's no one that cares about you. because that's simply not true" you shook your head as hard as you could "we love you so much George, and we need you. not just on the team, but as our friend, our family"
"I don't know, y/n"
"it breaks my heart hearing you say those things, they're far from true. but we can work on it, George, I promise. whatever will make you feel better. we won't let you go, you're not disposable you're needed and loved and I'm sorry we made you feel like you aren't. I will make personally sure, that'll never happen again, okay? but please in the future, just tell us how you feel. we are a family and we care about you"
George nodded and for the first time, it seemed like you had woken him out of his trance.
"thank you" he smiled softly, squeezing your hand
you engulfed him in a hug, plastering kisses onto his cheeks and you could hear him giggle "I wouldn't know what to do without you" you assured.
"I'm glad you don't have to think about it" he joked and you squeezed him even harder.

I feel like what some of you guys don't understand about the whole discussion of what is and isn't a trauma response, is that, like... Different people understand different experiences to be traumatic to different extents. Most people's idea of trauma is literally just "you were abused as a child", but some people might develop severe dissociative symptoms from getting stuck in the middle of their parents' divorce, some people get C-PTSD from growing up with an undiagnosed condition that got them into the status of an alienated failure for their entire childhood, some people get their entire personality shaped by medical trauma! I was born with my throat fused in with itself in a way that made it impossible for me to eat and breath like a normal person, and that took a series of surgeries that kept going until I was six years old in order to solve. I have no memory of that, despite the fact I do have other memories from that time period. The doctors said I was "the most well-behaved child they've ever seen", because I was quiet and polite and didn't cry. In hindsight, the most likely explanation was just that I kinda left my body to get through that experience, which might explain why my relationship to physical pain nowadays is the way that it is- whenever my body starts getting pain signals, my mind kinda activates total shutdown, which is why I never felt like I was fully present while doing physically painful things (and I'm not just talking SH, everything from working out to pinching myself to stop a train of thought. One time when I was a kid, I saw a shattered sheet of glass on the sidewalk, and I started taking apart pieces from it with my hands because I thought it was cool that I could do that, and it hurt a bit, but only after my mom came and screamed in shock I realized my hands were actually completely covered in blood. Stuff like that). I've had one professional suggesting that the thing that's wrong with my brain is that the medical trauma from that basically caused symptoms parallel to BPD, except without the ones about fear of abandonment and unstable relationships, because the trauma that caused it wasn't an interpersonal one, which is what is usually expected. And if that happened to me, to how many other people could that have happened?
I guess what I'm trying to say is. Our idea of mental issues being cleanly sorted into neat little boxes is just really flawed. Different people react differently to being put in situations. And maybe it would be more useful to start thinking "what experience did I have, given the knowledge I have of my own mind, that could make my brain develop instincts that cause this behavior" (which is a line of logic that can usually be used to understand almost every human behavior, clinical or otherwise) instead of "x trauma leads to y trauma response".

What is Geeta like as a person? What's her relationship with Nemona?
I couldn't think of a way to organize this so it's just a bunch of bullet point headcanons now, sorry. Also it got really long so it's below the cut :)
I always saw Geeta as someone who was extremely intelligent and pragmatic but who has very poor social skills. She's graceful and smart and appears extremely put-together but she has the same obliviousness and pushiness that Nemona does. I actually think they're extremely similar, but while Nemona is just friendly and extroverted in nature, Geeta is more quiet and unnerving
Nemona and Geeta actually share many of the same qualities, both positive and negative. The same things make them excel in their respective fields (drive, intelligence, workaholic syndrome) and the same things cause them to be isolated from their peers (poor social skills, obliviousness, strong personality). I think they're both ultimately friendly, but come across extremely strongly and are accidentally intimidating because of the power / talent they hold in comparison to those around them
Geeta is extremely ambitious and goal oriented, which makes her an excellent administrator and somewhat painful to be around. I think she's very nice, don't get me wrong, but she's just hard to deal with because she's a bit Machiavellian and not always the most considerate of others' feelings (in the same way Nemona can be)
A huge part of the gym leaders' Issues (tm) with her is because of her strong personality. She's not mean or even a bad boss, but she's so intimidating by nature that no one is willing to air their grievances because they think she'll punish them. Unfortunately, Geeta is as oblivious as Nemona in that respect, and doesn't ever pick up the hints they drop about things they want changed. Gym leaders think Geeta is ignoring them or doesn't care, but she has no idea about this and thinks everything is dandy. She needs them to be blunt, but she's so unnerving that no one feels like they can be with her
The OTHER reason she gets along so poorly with the gym leaders is because she's a huge micromanager. She's quite nice, but getting a million checkups and reminders about things from your weird boss, no matter how well-meaning, is enough to drive anyone nuts especially when you're a full grown working adult
Something else that Geeta doesn't realize pisses off her coworkers is her tendency to not explain herself. She has very clear and logical reasons for all the things that she does, from how she distributes work to when and why she'll ask someone to take over for her in certain tasks. She never actually explains this to her colleagues, however, so it comes across as senseless, lazy, or random, which isn't really a good reputation to gain when you're the boss
Geeta is a complete workaholic and one of those people always trying to "optimize" everything. Woman who needs a chill pill and a vacation so badly. I'm convinced she sleeps in her office a few nights a week because "I can use that time to do more work instead of wasting it going home and back"
She sucks at battling and knows this. She is here trying to do the bare minimum as champion for the Paldean League to function so that she can save money until they can get a proper champion. She'll never say it, because she thinks admitting so would be bad PR, but she's *fully* aware of her team's issues and has zero intention of changing it. It's gogoat or bust she will die for that thing. It's always chewing on her hair in her office
Geeta adores Nemona, and genuinely wants her to be the next Top Champion once the position is uncoupled from the League. However, that requires more money than they currently have so she's waiting, since she knows that Nemona is not very good with paperwork and would rather focus on being the best battler she can. In the meantime, Geeta is her biggest cheerleader: she's always there for her, gives good advice, helps Nemona not make the same mistakes she did, and just otherwise keeps an eye on her. Geeta is fond of everyone in the academy, but Nemona reminds her of herself and she wants to see Nemona turn out better than she did
Ok ngl I think Geeta is just a bit of a weirdo (I mean this in the most affectionate way possible). She's not evil or hiding something or an alien or a robot or a pokemon or whatever she's just Like That
Geeta 🤝 Nemona Autism.

Goldie, for God's sake, answer me just this once. Please, like I told you before, I'm not a shipper and i have a reason why but i can't descussion it here. I'm just Jimin Stan. And all I care about is the comfort of this boy who took my mind called Park Jimin. Just a question if Jikook is real. Why do I feel that Jimin is always unhappy? He complains about loneliness and not getting and making friends. Does one live in illusion only and imagines that he is happy while he is always insinuating and complaining about loneliness and gloom? Don't you understand his feelings through his album? Is it logical that this side appears when you are happy with the one you love, or does the one you love not treat you well? Please, I don't want to accuse anyone, but it seems that Jimin has changed a lot since before He became shrunken in himself and shy too much. Where is the bold and flirtatious Jimin? Something must have happened to him. Something last. Did you read the Weverse magazine article about him because it made me cry so much?
Sigh
Ever heard the saying the higher you go the lonelier you become? Dude literally released an album that addresses his struggles with fame and being in the spotlight- as big as Jungkook's dick is and as sharp as his thrusts are- big dick don't cure everything so let's not lay it on him okay?
I don't know if he's become shrunken in himself and shy when Jungkook has been saying for years Jimin is the most shy member of bts he knows. He is extroverted sure but he's quiet demure and graceful elegant and pretty too. Don't confuse is public persona for his actual persona. He's used to performing his extroversion and playing up his daring character for TV.
Jimin the artist is not the same as Park Jimin the brother, son, friend and human others know and that's what he's been saying for years. So if you ask what happened to the old Jimin I'd say FUCK IT HE'S FINALLY FREE BOTTOMS UP
Like he said, raise a glass to the old him- emphasizes on old. He keeps trying to break loose from old habits and behaviors that hold him back and don't serve him. I'd wager one of such habits was keeping up with his public imagine of constantly being a spectacle.
His duality is part of who he is. We should give him room to express and explore himself without attaching vehemently to our single lensed view of him. There's nothing wrong with him.
But I understand your concern. I used to be like this too. for years he had said bulking up and building his body wasn't his thing. I nearly- well who am I kidding, I had an actual melt down when he started working out and building his body again because I thought he was being coerced into doing it again- turns out he just wanted to look ripped in jeans🥴
Dude was tryna get laid and I was out here cussing hybe out for oppressing him💀
I don't know if he's always unhappy when he's only opening up about his struggles which I think is a good thing for him and his fans. For me it helps me understand him more, empathize with him more and grow more closer to him.
Jimin is not the melancholic type.
The shit he deals with is real. I've heard many western artists complain of similar struggles and some of them are happily married with kids. Relationships are not a magic cure for loneliness especially if the feeling of loneliness IS NOT STEMMING FROM LACK OF HUMAN CONNECTION.
Do you actually thing Park jimin is lonely because he lacks intimacy and human connection? Loneliness is a complex issue and many things can lead to a person feeling this way. For me, I think he's inability to be who he really is was his biggest emotional trigger. He lives in a conformist society surrounded by people who constantly expect maturity and discipline from him, with a fan base that will desert him and unstan him if he says the wrong thing, dates the wrong person or make the move. There's no room for mistakes and that can be pretty dehumanizing.
Social expectations can alienate people and I'm afraid jimin is no exception. And in case you aren't aware, life sucks and hits every body including Jimin.
I don't appreciate you demanding my attention in this way. It makes me feel I have to rush my response so if this feels rushed it's on you🙃

What's the root of this whole promiscuous women are "used up" thing? I understand that men are somehow convinced that sex irreversibly changes a woman, but I just can't make sense of the logic of it - like I just saw a popular social media post authored by a man who broke up with his girlfriend after finding out she had hookups on a weekly basis throughout college. The entire scenario is bizarre to me because nothing was materially wrong with her or the relationship, nothing was wrong with the quality of the sex, and nothing was even said about her body being physically different to other, more virginal women, yet he still viewed her as irredeemably desecrated. This man threw away an entire deeply intimate relationship over small insecurities and other men look at him in awe as a beacon of masculinity??? Really?? I just do not get it.
I'm going to disappoint you here but I don't really understand it either. I can write paragraph after paragraph of theory but on a personal level it still completely floors me - men have a system of 'logic' that is fundamentally alien to anything human and healthy and natural and I think we need to start thanking the gods that it's something we can't empathise with. But here's what I do understand - on a 'logical' level, if not emotional/human:
Firstly, throughout history there has been no separation between rape and sex. We don't think about this today, but the concept of 'consent' is fairly new in culture: historically, a man claims a woman through sex/rape. When men say they want to 'break' a woman through sex, they're talking about rape. The idea that a woman is irreversibly changed through sex is a quiet acknowledgement of the fact that rape changes a woman. That's exactly why rape is a such a good 'claiming' tactic: it's a form of torture, and the resulting trauma will disrupt the woman's ability to make decisions, including the decision to leave.
Men who believe it's possible to claim a woman, that she can be 'damaged' by sex, are rape-supporters if not rapists themselves. They believe in the power of rape, not in terms of its practical damage of women but rather in the sacred power of rape in the Collective Male Heterosexual Domination Over Woman At All Costs. They may have been having what can be functionally called 'consensual sex' with the woman they're dating, but ultimately they don't believe in consent: whether or not they made her by force, took advantage of her whilst drunk, coerced her through financial means, pestered her until she gave in, 'wooed' her through gifts, or simply that she had been conditioned into finding a man and sleeping with him based on societal pressure, men make no distinction between these things: they are all 'claiming'. The idea that she consented is fundamentally useless here, because there's an existing framework that works perfectly well without it. So every time a man sleeps with a woman, the more 'human' ones would rather not traumatise her too bad because, well, that would look pretty bad on them - but they still want to claim her regardless. They still hang onto this belief that they've managed to rape her on a technicality and this whole 'consent' thing is something that feminists made up to pretend we're not being raped all the time. This man wanted to believe that he had claimed this woman, but if she's already been 'claimed' by multiple men first, he simply cannot get the idea out of his mind that she was already raped and broken by them a long time ago.
Men claim that they hate the idea of women 'having sex', with other men, but they don't believe that women experience sexual pleasure until they're 'broken'. They don't believe that women experience sexual pleasure until they have been sufficiently claimed, traumatised, and subsequently have 'given up'. Like everything women do, we're supposed to only want it when he wants it. In practice that means never really consenting, simply 'enjoying what's given to you'. Men's belief is that once they claim a woman, she will only ever enjoy sex with him - because 1. he is a super unique and mommy's specialist little guy and 2. because that's his reward for claiming her. Only he gets to see and cause sexual pleasure - that's his reward. Of course, he doesn't even care most of the time if he gives her pleasure, but he's supposed to be the only one who can. For this reason, men make no functional difference between a slut and a whore: women who seemingly enjoy sex are no different than those who are factually being used for sex: because consent never mattered, and men believe that rape is what causes women to enjoy sex. If women are going out and enjoying sex, that's because they're succumbing to the conditioning by men that's primed them to be raped easily, and their 'enjoyment' is a measure of their quick acceptance to be claimed. That's what makes women 'easy'. Women are supposed to play 'hard to get' because no one wants a trophy that's easily won: men want to claim women through sex, and they want to make sure they have been the first to give her that trauma so big enough that he will be in her mind forever. The stuff about 'loose vaginas' etc. are just a gish-gallop: all the nonsense and double standards about women being sluts is designed to distract from the fact that men have no distinction between sex and rape, and they use the trauma of rape to claim a woman.
Men already have a functioning framework that simplifies and categorises the world as to their liking: it's easier to believe that you can simply claim a human being as your slave with one easy act that trauma-bonds them to you forever. Men are bonded to each other in an existentially terrified Collective Male Heterosexual Domination Over Woman At All Costs. In this system, neither men nor women are whole human beings - but rather each is symbolic of something more important. And to men, women have to represent everything that men are not: men have to view themselves as better than women because otherwise they'd have to face the harsh reality of their biological redundancy. Men have put their entire stake into this idea that they're the creators, the providers, the protectors, the claimers. They are the true humans, and their violence is proof that they're exercising their full power of humanity - that is, their full power to want. The mere fact that women can be raped is proof that on a biological level we don't want sex enough, and thus we can't ever be fully human. To men, women represent the crudity of nature (including how it is fully capable of replicating itself without them needing to be involved), and it's a crudity that needs to be conquered and claimed. It's the only way they can prove they're 'better' than us.
Men envy female friendships because they see the positive impact that it has on our psyche - something more powerful than all the raping they've been doing. But if they admit that kindness and empathy are traits that make us human, and that destruction is a crudity of nature, then the sunk-cost fallacy of rape is laid clear. Since they form part of the Collective rather than merely being an individual who learns their lesson all too late, actual progress on this stance is incredibly slow if not impossible: they've built the entirety of society on this existential terror. Just like a tyrant who runs his country into the ground for his own ego, men are inherently irrational - because they're terrified of the basics of life and existence in a way women simply aren't. You know how if you know a meal is coming then you're OK with being hungry, as opposed to it not being near mealtime and you're suddenly hyper-focusing on how hungry you are? Men are like that with their entire lives. They will put up with all this immense psychological discomfort, they will throw away materially beneficial things all the time because if they hang on a little longer, mommy will come along and fix all their problems - she will 'feed his ego' by 'willfully' debasing herself to prove he's better than her. The only thing men care about preserving is that they're Super Special and Above Women: that's it. No real rational decisions can ever be made when your motive is to achieve something that is essentially a symbolic concept tha only exists in your mind. That is why men have 'fragile egos'.

Hello! :) I've really enjoyed all your posts so far. It feels like you understand these characters on an incredibly intimate level, and so many of your headcanons and characterizations hit the spot for me. Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful things you create with us! Looking through your writing brightens up my day every time.
If possible, I'd like to request a Star Trek matchup. I've only watched TOS, AOS and a bit of DS9 and TNG, but I'm completely open to any character that comes to mind regardless of series and gender.
I'm a transmasc enby and lean towards masc or androgynous presentation. I have dark brown eyes and wavy hair. I have a bit of grey hair from stress and a single dimple that shows when I smile or purse my lips. My height and build are on the lower end of average and I've been told I have fairly broad shoulders.
My MBTI is INFP. I'm reasonably sure my enneagram is 4w5, but I could be wrong. I'm neurodivergent and that factors into a lot of my personality and worldview. I'm an old soul. I have a variable social battery, but I am always there for people when it matters the most. I feel things quite deeply, but I strongly believe that emotions and logic go hand in hand, and as a result have a pretty high EQ.
I'm very easygoing and approachable, and like to make lots of friendly acquaintances in my daily life. I try to connect a bit with everyone I can strike up a conversation with regardless of age. I care a lot about people and I think people would generally consider me sweet or easy to get along with. With my closer friends, I'm maybe the dad friend counterpart to our other mom friend. I'll be silly with them but am usually the first to go no-nonsense when they need a voice of reason. My brand of humor is quite deadpan, but I laugh a lot at my friends' antics. I will only sass or give a ribbing to people I consider fairly good friends, but make sure to avoid any sore spots.
I'm passionate but not really competitive and thrive in environments where everyone really loves what they do. I have no problem taking on leadership roles or otherwise. I generally serve as a mediator for conflicts, and don't mind speaking up for other people's needs. Otherwise, I'm somewhat easily embarrassed and prefer to deal with problems myself instead of asking people to go out of their way to help me.
I gravitate towards creative mediums like art, reading and writing, music and theatre, but also have a soft spot for anthropology and biology. I really like talking to and connecting with other people. It is pretty easy for me to find beauty in all sorts of places and people and things, and one of my favorite things to do is to take things slow and focus on the little things for a while.
I'm demisexual, sex-positive, and probably ambiamorous. My love language is words of affirmation then physical touch, in that order. Gender doesn't really factor into my attraction for someone and I find people attractive because of who they are as a person, not how they present. I'm most drawn to people who are fundamentally kind but are unafraid to push me to think about things from more perspectives. I feel like the basis for my attraction is first and foremost the capacity for a strong bond built around trust and communication.

from the original series, i'd pair you with, spock!
with your introspective and empathetic nature, spock would find himself drawn to your depth of understanding and your unique perspective on life. initially intrigued by your combination of logic and emotion, he would appreciate the way you balance your feelings with rationality, much like he does himself. your gentle demeanour and quiet strength would complement spock's reserved nature. your capacity for understanding others' emotions, despite your own occasional struggles with vulnerability, would resonate with spock's own internal conflict between logic and emotion; he would admire your ability to navigate the complexities of human interaction with grace and compassion.
from deep space nine, i'd pair you with, kira nerys!
kira would admire your courage and resilience, seeing in you someone who understands the importance of fighting for justice in the face of adversity. initially, she might be cautious around your easygoing nature, unsure of how to reconcile it with your deep sense of purpose, but she would come to trust your sincerity and reliability. your willingness to mediate conflicts and support those in need would resonate strongly with kira, who shares your dedication to protecting others.

Only Friends's MBTI types - my guesses after episode 1
Let's associate one of my newest obsessions with one of my long lasting ones and guess our favorite group of messy queers' MBTI types ! Yes, all of Mew, Top, Ray, Sand, Boston, Nick and Chueam. I've done a lot of that at parties so I think I might be either good or terrible or average at it, I'm hedging my bets and promising nothing.
(btw I'm very aware of the problematic origins of the MBTI test, the ways it is often misused and how unscientific it is, please let me just have dumb fun okay ! Also I won't really explain that much what each letters actually mean bc it's more fun that way)
Anyway, going to rank the characters from the types I found the easiest to figure out to the hardest, this is after the first episode only so hopefully the next ones don't prove me wrong too much :
1. Boston : ESTP "The Entrepreneur"
E for extraverted, S for all the ssssensations, T 'cause he knows to hide what he thinks, P because that's what he's thinking with
Seriously though, ESTPs "tend to be energetic and action-oriented, deftly navigating whatever is in front of them. They love uncovering life’s opportunities, whether socializing with others or in more personal pursuits." They're unpredictable, always looking for the next thrill, charismatic, charming, quick-witted. They're also smarter than they look, can be calculating and rational, and use some of that cold logic to disregard people that don't suit them anymore to look for the next best thing. They're also the sluttiest type according to this Reddit thread I absolutely agree with.
Come on, don't tell me that's not Boston to a T !
Alternative typing : ESFP - but I think there's something less spontaneous and more calculating behind Boston's urges.
2. Sand : ISTJ "Logistician"
I for introverted because he's clearly tired of everyone, S for stubborn, T for those ethics, J for judgmental all day every day
ISTJ "pride themselves on their integrity. People with this personality type mean what they say, and when they commit to doing something, they make sure to follow through." They're hardworking strong willed and dutiful to a fault, honest to the point of lacking tact and hurting people, they're the type to care about people but also about order and about things being done "the right way", so they're kinda hard to befriend (and they don't necessarily want to be your friend anyway) but they make for extremely devoted partners. They value stability above all so they don't appear like the most sexually focused people but they reeeallly care about leaving their partner satisfied.
This type doesn't really do hook ups and I'm looking forward to how Sand is going to handle a FWB type relationship with Ray
Alternative typing : ISTP. I feel like a happy Sand with less money troubles could be an ISTP, able to express his artistic side and creativity, spontaneous, able to adapt, just still reserved. But the Sand we're shown so far is more rigid and less prone to risky behaviors than an ISTP would be.
3. Ray : INFP "Mediator"
Okay so this might be a controversial one, but listen, I know my depressed horny but pining romantics INFPs by heart, I love them to pieces, they're full of contradictions and I really see Ray as one of them.
Generally speaking, INFP are depicted as "quiet, open-minded, and imaginative", but most importantly and more essential to their nature, they live in a world of their own imagination. They're somewhat eccentric, witty, often have quite a few friends but always perceive themselves to be lonely, longing for a deep transcending connection that they don't actually try to get in real life because their self esteem is too low. They're smart but easily distracted and unfocused, passionnate and vulnerable but also self critical and desperate to please, empathetic and selfish, and just so damn depressed.
Alternative typing : ENFP / ISFP. Some people might say that Ray's adventurous and flirtatious side make him an ENFP or an ISFP, and I don't fully disagree : his apparent sluttiness is not very typical of an INFP. But ! it seems like his sluttiness is a coping mechanism to deal with his unreciprocated crush and low self worth, as is his alcoholism, and that sounds very INFP to me.
4. Top : ENTP "Debater"
We're getting into character I'm actually having doubts about, but I still think Top is an ENTP : E for extremely forward and extroverted, N for never backing down from a challenge, T for titillating and quick thinker, P for Popular for his P... sorry
No but really, ENTP are known to be direct, intelligent, charismatic and to "pursue their goals vigorously despite any resistance they might encounter". There, we've said it, do I need to further convince you about Top being an ENTP ? Yes ? Okay weird but sure.
ENTPs love to be surprised, they welcome unexpected situations as exciting challenges, which I find very close to Top's approach to Mew. It also means that Top's and Boston's type are very close (ENTP vs ESTP) which makes a lot of sense to me, with some fundamental differences being that an ENTP (Top) will focus on the big concept and long term vision while an ESTP (Boston) is both observant to small details and easily distracted ; an ENTP communicates more easily in a round about manner (ie Top's way of collecting information about Mew) while an ESTP is more literal and "often gives exact examples of events that have occurred in the past" (ie Boston's approach of Top at the bar and later in the bathroom)
Alternative typing : ENTJ - Maybe the differences between Top and Boston actually go deeper than that. ENTJs are considered the most natural leaders, loving being in charge, charismatic and intelligent. So it could also fit Top, but I'm choosing to believe based on what we've seen so far that Top is more adaptable and spontaneous (ENTP) than organized and consistent (ENTJ). Not 100% sure though.
5. Nick : ISFP "Adventurer"
Okay so we don't actually know Nick that well yet. He doesn't seem the most extroverted and can even be a bit shy when surprised, but is still fairly audacious and has an air of enthusiasm about him, so I think he is ISFP : I for introverted on first glance, S for slitherin in those nudes, F for falling head over heels for Boston, P for putting himself out there
ISFPs tend to be warm and creative people, the good friends who are always up for trying new things but would never pressure you. They're sensitive, passionate, curious, open minded but also easily stressed and often underestimate themselves. In romantic relationships, they tend to give all their focus to their partner's needs and forget themselves a bit ; they need excitement and adventure, but they're also very loyal, caring, they go with the flow of what their partner wants. They need a partner to show love through their actions ... Yeah we'll see how that goes with Boston !
Talking about ISFP-ESTP relationships (Nick-Boston) : ISFP tend to be drawn to ESTP and their energy but also find them to be jerks are hard to settle down with, with many users on different Reddit threads describing a very push-pull dynamic. Ah, how surprising
(Btw, if you want a post about what the MBTI types of all these characters say about their relationships and what I'd predict based on that, let me know haha)
Alternative typing : INFP - Ya know, for those hopeless romantics vibes ! But Nick seems too forward and go with the flow to me to be an INFP (see INFP Ray who's actually a lot more slow build in his relationships with both Mew and Sand, though maybe not that slow, just by the show's standards lol)
6. Chueam : ESFP "Entertainer"
Okay I'm actually struggling with Chueam but I think my verdict for now is ESFP, which gives her at least two letters in common with every one on this list except Sand (edit : and Mew surprisingly), and I think it makes sense because she does appear to understand everyone else in the group while being the life of the party. ESFP in her case would stand for Extroverted Sensation Focused Partier - yes these acronyms are getting worse, sorry.
Really though, ESFPs are described as the type to "break out spontaneously into song and dance" : they live life to the fullest, always excited to embrace new experiences. They're bold and a bit messy sometimes, they're easily bored, but they're also sweet, friendly, observant and have great people's skills. They're popular but conflict averse and don't like to think too much about the future which certainly gives them some blind spots. To me, it sounds like a great summary of how Chueam seems charming, super fun to be around, caring for her friends but also a bit too focused on pleasure to the point of ignoring red flags (*coughs* Top)
Alternative typing : ESFJ - Chueam's optimistic vibes and how people oriented she is in a way that is certainly a bit chaotic but not actually messy gives me the impression that she could also be an ESFJ (if we think she's a bit more organized and good at planning)
7. Mew : INFJ "Advocate"
Surprise, surprise, the guy who is arguably our main character is the hardest one for me to type. I think that it might be because since he's the narrator of his own story, he's unreliable about everyone obviously, but probably even more unreliable when it comes to himself.
What do we truly know about Mew ? He likes his friends but is more introverted, doesn't mind going out but avoids drinking so he can stay in control. He likes books because they allow him to explore the world without actually venturing too much outside of his comfort zone ; he's a bit of a romantic but also pragmatic about his own emotions ; his life has a routine and an organization that he finds grounding.
So that means Mew is definitely an I for introverted bean, F for Focused on his Feelings, and J for Judgment and Just doing things the proper way. I'm also going to assume that he's more focused on the bigger picture and conceptual ideas - meaning he's going to think he's smarter than he is and ignore some details and find that out the hard way - and while he likes pleasing people, he has no issues stating his boundaries - as seen after he invites Top in his apartment. All of this gives us an INFJ.
INFJ are described as deeply thoughtful and with very rich inner lives, they're usually considered pretty rare, and are very aware of how unique they are, often making it part of their "branding", a core element to how they think of themselves. They're all about self perception, self awareness ; they're highly observant and good at analyzing other people, empathetic and caring, they give good advice to the point of appearing almost psychic but are actually quite self centered because they're so focused on achieving perfection and avoiding being ordinary. They are truly very smart and charismatic in an understated way, but they can also look down on others as shallow and have a bit of main character syndrome. See also @heretherebedork's post on Mew's potential as a manipulative virgin demon that I very much agree with.
Now, it might sound harsh, but I think that describes Mew quite well. I might be projecting a bit though (I may or may not be an INFJ myself, oops), but I truly think that my feeling of both liking Mew a lot as a character and fundamentally wanting to punch him in the face might be due to us being the same type lol
Alternative typing : ISFJ / INTJ - The preference of Mew for things to be done a certain way could extend to a resistance to change and an attachment to a sense of higher duty, making him a bit more of an ISFJ. But also, if he's actually less focused on his emotions and a lot more calculating and guided by his pure logic, he might be more of an INTJ.
So yeah, that's it, I spent way too much time thinking about this. Any opinions and comments are VERY WELCOME, please let me know how wrong I am haha and we can improve this together !
Now I'm going to not so patiently wait for episode 2 to be released lol

You said something about Eastern European Armand hcs? Expand on that please, I'm so curious!
this took me so long because i have *so* many and it was hard to be selective and not make it into an essay. here are some that i think still work good within canon (there's lots of stuff that is more contemporary and better for non-vampiric aus, but that's a whole another topic)
i am positive that armand's native language is early ruthenian. he would also definitely know old church slavonic. as for modern times, i'm sure he would be interested in learning ukrainian, and be very obsessed about his duolingo streak.
andrei might not be even armand’s first name. (not a well known fact but) slavic people used to give their newborns temporary names for the time of their childhood, and only give them “proper” names when they were old enough to make sure they will survive. plus, well, andrei is a western name, while the child name he had would probably be a traditional slavic name (which were not looked kindly upon by the churches because they were “pagan”)
armand would be a great host, which is something that also relates to his habit of creating safe spaces for the ones he loves. hospitality is perhaps the best preserved tradition in the region, and people are *very* serious about it. eastern europeans will clean their houses for hours just because someone told them they will drop in for a cup of tea, and then proceed to apologise to the guest for its "terrible" state ("it's like an actual brothel here, i'm so sorry" is the phrase my mother uses lmao). and no matter you came for a tea, you will get a 3 courses meal. the food part is of course something doesn't work for vampires, but i think all the seriousness and formality of being a host can remain. (also, you might be best friends/family with your host and they might logically know their house won't offend your sensitivites and that you don't care for being served like nobility – doesn't matter. it's an imperative)
complaining without realising that it has cultural significance. complaining in ee is a matter of small talk, you complain for sport, or for no reason at all, and if there's nothing to complain about, you invent something for this purpose. and usually no hard feelings are attached to it; it's a way of bonding with people (and talking about nice stuff in your life or around you feels a bit like bragging tbh.) i like to think armand will find something to complain about at all times without realising people around him believe he *actually* finds it disagreeable. he would tell daniel 5-star hotels they are staying at are *terrible*, the weather is dreadful whatever it is, people around are too loud or too quiet, this movie is *so* bad (no, don't turn it off, he's enjoying it), the instructor at a night class they went to was incompetent and annoying (yes, they are going to the next one, what kind of question) etc.
there exists a popular assumption that people who smile for no reason are either stupid, insane, or on drugs. the amount of times my family/friends directed my attention to a person who walked down the street smiling just to say "what is wrong with them"– i think armand would absolutely do that. daniel, what is wrong with this human. what are they so happy about? answer me.
offering things. i don't think most people think about it (i do as an immigrant, because the cultural difference still confuses me at times) but if someone offers you something it is polite to refuse at first and kinda go back at forth, but ultimately you *need* to accept whatever they want to do for you. i think because of that armand would come off as forceful when giving people stuff, which goes well with "devil's minion." like, daniel might say he doesn't want something, but that's just a thing people say, so he will nag about it and daniel *will* receive whatever it is. this point is literally canon tho, i just like to think it has a bit more cultural significance to it.
