If the U.S & Canada weren't afraid of their own Indigenous peoples getting our landback, they wouldnt be calling the military on us everytime we so much as peacefully protest to not have our water poisoned, but they do. They're terrified of us. That's part of WHY the U.S and Canada is supporting Isntreal, because it justifies their own colonial existence and reinforces colonialism here too.

I really think the Williams team hasn't realized how much of their treatment towards Logan has lost them a lot of good will among fans. Like take his lap of legends, so much work went in to that, (from Logan, Williams Alumni, and the team behind it), was such a big opportunity, and really could have had generated some much needed good pr for the team and Logan, especially with the team and their treatment of Logan. Yet they allowed it to be overshadowed by the Alex announcement, like really you couldn't have waited at least a few days?

The moment Logan leaves I can see a lot of fans, just not interacting with Williams content anymore. As much as we talk about Alex and James Vowles being the ones who are restructuring/rebuilding Williams you can't forget Logan has also been a major face of that movement. All of their new era content, like their podcasts and interviews, Logan has played a major part in and I think a lot of fans will have a bad taste in their mouth watching once he leaves on such bad terms. Because realistically Logan has the perfect personality for that type of content and it will be nearly impossible to replace him there, its why he and Alex work together so well, they can match the energy and tangents.

Then you have to take into account of them Americans and drive to survive people. They get a lot of hate for either liking the sport at all or how they get into it. Logan is their driver, if you look at social media beyond Instagram comments you will find so much support for him. It is one thing to drop Logan as a driver because he's under-preforming (though I have thoughts about That to) but to go from saying you are going to do everything to help logan to publicly flirting with new drivers? Thats just rude. And now Williams are shutting themselves off from these markets/fan bases. I'm sorry but realistically Logan is leaving F1 and Americans will no longer have a home driver to root for and they will blame Williams for that so people will not stick around.

TLDR; Williams by being dicks have shot themselves in the foot next year publicity wise

One of my favorite Leo headcanons is that Leo could not for the life of him tell you what a country looks like or where it’s located on a map or even what its name is, but show him a picture of some random dirt and he’ll pro geoguesser his way into instantly knowing where on the planet that dirt’s from (because he’s accidentally crashed face first into it enough to Know.)

hi this is your obligatory reminder from a Mi'kmaq-Saulteaux pal that:

1.) the ribbon skirt is a traditional ceremonial garment worn by many First Nations women to celebrate their connection to Mother Earth and reclaim their Indigenous identity from and in spite of colonization;

2.) the RCMP was literally founded as a colonial police force meant to drive Indigenous / First Nations peoples out of their territory to make way for settlers (see: the "starlight tours")

3.) racism towards indigenous people in Canada is still alive and well (the last residential school didn't close until 1996) and so the RCMP adopting ribbon skirts is not only incredibly tone deaf towards their own history and the role they played in wiping out Indigenous culture, but insulting to the practice of ribbon skirts and what they mean to many Indigenous people across the country

4.) when a government entity limits who can comment on their posts, that should tell you exactly where their priorities and intentions lie.

A video of an Ontario man recounting his amusing interaction with a restaurant owner in April has amassed millions of views on TikTok. 

"I left a negative Google review for this restaurant and now the owner wants to fight me this Friday," the customer named Adam explains. 

"How do I know that? Well, he sent me a Google Calendar invite for this Friday called 'Parking Lot Beatdown Session,' and the description of the event? 'Parking lot. Food will be served. Knuckle sandwiches.'"  ​​​​​​

In the video, which has already garnered over 4.8 million views and nearly 13,000 comments, Adam explains that he and his friend were searching for a place to eat over the weekend when they came across the unnamed restaurant, which reportedly boasts 4.3 stars on Google. 

"We get there, place smells like sh*t. We order and we get our food and I'm telling you right now it was inedible. Tasted like sh*t. You could not eat it. I wouldn’t even feed this sh*t to my ex," he explained in the TikTok. [...]

America definitely gets shit for having glasses. Like people will just say "you'd be hotter if you didn't have those glasses" without any shame or hesitation.

I bet photographers ask him to remove them to make him look "tougher" and he gets backhanded compliments in interviews.

There's probably even a few brave fools who snatch (or attempt to snatch) away his glasses. These interactions probably end up in a black eye after they are sent flying after they had the brilliant idea of getting in a super-powered immortal's personal space.

But fr I feel like America is always extremely annoyed with these people and always expresses it. His glasses represent Texas! They're an important part of him, and he can't exactly get rid of them. Also he needs them to SEE. The nerve of some people to say/imply he's lesser for having them!

Same logic applies to Canada, but he's not as vocal about his annoyance. He'll either awkwardly laugh it off or be passive-aggressive because he doesn't want to start a fight. The only time he'll start voicing his opinion is when he's at the end of his patience, and even then he'll just raise his voice before he resumes to whatever he was doing.
