Hey, I haven't been around in this tag for a good while, but are you guys holding up ok?

I know its been 3 years since the animators from danplan getting taken advantage of but I still cannot get over that stupid charity stream. Do you remember the stream raising 4k, but the animators only got 120 dollars each. Lmao

we settled that in private but he disappeared off the face of the internet and so I wanted to let my feelings out in the void. I am not okay about it, I'll never be okay about it, despite us "settling" it in private. He lied to us and said he faked the donos so we wouldnt feel bad, but so many of my friends and I think he took a large sum. Some people on reddit from last year said he spent the animators charity money on porn. But with all his accounts gone and the discord nuked, there really is no way to pursue this anymore. Im tired of pretending to be okay with it.

I just remembered how like, the first ever online drama I was ever a part of was the DanPlan situation thing

And like

I distinctly remember after backing away and everything calming down and moving on onto new communities and hyperfixations I was like

"well that sucked but it's a good thing I'll never have to go through anything like that ever again!"

And oh

Oh how wrong I was....

There was this character in Monster Legends (Yes, the mobile game) called Kassia. For some reason, child me was OBSESSED with her.

Then I added the "ActuallyDraws" based on ActuallyStephen. Yes, the guy that used to be on Danplan. The one that unknowingly started the drama.

I thought it would be neat.

i love dsmp. i mean it it was so fun and just omg im so happy i experienced it. some piecies of media just stick with you forever and dream smp is definitely one. im glad i came across it right after the whole danplan drama because until then, danplan was my favourite thing, dsmp definitely helped with that

Lads, it's time again.

Honestly, you never realize how much you improve until you compare it to what you used to do.

I know that Danplan's been gone awhile, but, well, Hosuh was always my favorite, and he wasn't really part of the drama at all.

I love how much happier he looks. It makes me feel happy.

I hope this year is better than the last. Not because it was bad, but because things can always get better.

So I did the 'doing art again a year later to see how much I've grown' thingy

i, for one is??? very scared?? about danplan’s future

1, dan will have to do some CRAZY SHIT to redeem himself after stephen AND jay’s videos

2, stephen’s gone, jay’s not a member (and never has been) and hosuh’s off for military stuff (even though he’s live-streaming with stephen).

3, the animators are being underpaid a shit ton. no animator in their right mind are going to join danplan and i predict that the remaining animators will dwindle 

so yeah - we don’t know what’s gonna happen to danplan. i wouldn’t be surprised if dan got boycotted so hard that he could never revive the channel

So DanPlan...

I have wanted to talk about this at some point so here we go, I guess.

Well first of all, I'm so sad that this whole thing has happened. I loved the iconic duo. But if I'm completely honest, I started watching DanPlan because of Stephen. It was Stephen that made me keep watching and made me start loving the channel. Over time I came to love the other characters (especially Hosuh) though Stephen is still my favourite.

I didn't believe it in the start, when I watched the video. I couldn't. But I have come to terms with it. I just wanted to say how proud I am of Stephen, he could easily have thrown Dan under the bus, but instead he told us to not go hate on him. Stephen was also very honest about what had kept him so long with the channel (a year is a really long time if you are having an on going fight with your friend/employer/collage).

He mentioned Hosuh (I will talk about it in a bit, bear with me) but he also mentioned how he liked the fame. Fame can be very addicting and therefore very plausible to be a factor to why he stayed. Still I think it's amazing that he mentioned liking the fame and having fans that loved you, as not many people would mention that.

Now, Hosuh. Stephen told us how Hosuh tried to keep the channel together even though Stephen and Dan were fighting. And I think that was a sweet mention from Stephen. I also think Hosuh deserves so much credit and love for trying so hard because it must have been so hard to see two of your friends fight and slowly drifting away from being friends.

With all this said, I am still waiting for Dan's response to all this. I want to hear both sides before I draw to many conclusions, though I am, to be completely honest, for the moment leaning more to Stephen's side. I'm still subscribed to DanPlan, mostly for Hosuh, Jay, Ann and the animation team's sake, but also because I want to see how it will work out.

I will at the very least watch until there are no longer any of Stephen's videos left, and then I'll try to watch a video or two of their videos without Stephen to see if I still enjoy watching them. If I still enjoy watching their videos then I might continue to subscribe and if I don't, then I'm unsubscribing.

I, eh, think that was all. Its fine if you disagree with anything I have said as this is my opinion. I just hopes everything works out in the end. Let's all hope 2020 gets better soon!

He isn't paying anyone even minimum wage except for Hosuh, so fuck him.

He deserves everything happening to his channel and I am really pissed I ever saw him as a good person.

I'll support Stephen, Jay and the Animators, but Dan certainly doesn't deserve my support.

theres an entire new generation of DanPlan and Actually Stephan viewers that don't know about the drama and don't cry whenever they see a fanart of dan, stephen, and hosah together and that doesnt sit right with me
