Time for a change of scenery and to learn more about Heaven. Spoilers.

Nice to see Vaggie told the truth instead of attempting to lie. I am curious, would that have even worked on Charlie? Does Charlie have a power to tell if people are lying to her, since her father is the “father of lies”?

That was sweet of Vaggie, but there is a lining of “Vaggie sacrifices more for the relationship” idea in my Charlie/Vaggie trailer breakdown here. LUCKILY there hasn’t been much of that as I expected in this season. At least we’ll find out how Vaggie lost her Exorcist title.

I’m not liking where this is going. I feel like this is going to result in a situation like in the pilot where Angel and co. embarrass Charlie’s goal in front of everyone in Heaven. I mean (spoilers based on the HH S1 trailer) something is going to make the next Extermination happen, but I hope it’s something else.

Cursing is allowed in Heaven. Interesting to know, you think there will be a gag for when someone curses, everyone else covers their ears “Harry Potter Musicals” style?

So angels can take on different forms. Also was it just me or did the old angel’s bird form look like Stella a bit? I did have this theory that touched on the idea of how after fallen angels went to Hell, they would evolve to become different from what those in Heaven look like and create subspecies, and it looks that is true.

The angel finally has a name, Sera. Oh she may sound nice now but wait till we see her evil side! Right there she says, “you are gifted to be here”, life if she wasn’t Lucifer’s daughter she would have been really rude to Charlie.

Even though she says she is the highest of the Seraphim (the highest rank in Heaven’s hierarchy if pic of said topic are any indication) I feel like there is going to be a moral Heaven thing where every angel is treated equal. I thought I bring this up now cause when Sera reveals herself as a villain, I hope later on she becomes an antagonist (replacing Adam) who fights against Charlie’s redemption plan but will have trouble when other Seraphim’s and Archangels side with Charlie.

Sounds like Emily is the Charlie of Heaven XD.

Got some interesting designs like a Hellhound looking creature with hooves and that…thing she is next to. There is also someone that looks a lot like Vaggie but with no mouth, who “COINCIDENLY” has a close eye where Vaggie has an eyepatch.

I think that was a FNAF/Chuck E Cheese mascot band refence there.

I was going to wonder why she was spider looking creature when you think Heaven only has people in human/cute animal like forms, till I saw that crab looking angelic being in the same scene. Also on the bottom right, I think that’s a Sara Bellum from PPG reference.

OKAY HUGE REVEAL THERE! HOW COME NO ONE ELSE KNOW ABOUT THE EXTERMINATONS? Do the archangels at least know? Either way this could actually be good but I’ll get into that later.

Okay so Sera seems to be one of those “doing bad to do good” kind of characters as she just wants to protect Heaven, explains why she looked so sad in Charlie’s story, but I feel like she will have prejudices too. It also sounds like Adam was the sole person who came up with the Exterminations.

That was a hellborn child! I had suspicions that Exorcist also killed Hellborn demons during the Exterminations (Viv did once say they kill anything that wasn’t indoors) but still its more shocking than knowing it was a correct fact.

I do like that the Extermination scene is a flashback and not taking place in the finale like I predicted.

Also as messed up as what happened to Vaggie, losing her eye and wings (more on that later) at least it led to her instantly meeting Charlie. Hey they are wearing their pilot outfits :D

At least we can look forward to a Vaggie vs. Lute fight in the future.

Since it was shown that Lute was able to wound Vaggie when she was still an angel, my idea from my “Overture” review of the dead Exorcist being killed by one of its own is a little stronger now. I still think someone else like the threat impersonating Lilith did it, but I'm still keeping that as a possibility until we learn more.

If the first human soul to arrive in Heaven doesn’t know what qualifies to get into Heaven, then Charlie redemption plan deserves a chance. It also makes me curious on what the other angels think qualifies. Also again how would Angel be any different than having Adam there.

WAIT WHAT ABOUT ABEL? He was murdered by his brother long before Adam died, what happened to him after he died?

See I told you we’d get another pilot situation, though at least it’s better than last time as Angel did resist for a time. Heck Husk and Sir Pentious should also be considered proof of being able to redeem since Pen was being nice to a degree and Husk was actually trying to help Angel.

Seriously, Adam has been cursing up a storm, yet you react to when Charlie does it? Maybe like us they were just surprised that she can curse, given how good she is.

Looks like I was wrong about the situation leading to pilot vibes. GOOD! Also great to see Angel stand up to Val.

Now that we know that Val’s shirt are his wings, it makes the scene of Niffty ripping a piece off hilarious XD.

This seems enough proof to me that someone can be redeemed, don’t try and change the subject Adam.

So no angelic being in that room properly knows how judging a soul works? While odd, I wonder if this is a result of after what happened to Lucifer, maybe soon after others got sent to Hell for minor things and eventually no one dared to question or go against God’s (or whoever else’s) judgment and now they are at this point where they don’t recall things or fear becoming a fallen angel like Lucifer. I’m (semi) counting this as another one of my ideas coming true, as I did bring the idea of Heaven not knowing how to loosen the restrictions to getting into Heaven.

Though a bit understandable from Charlie’s POV and thankfully she got lucky there, her ranting to Heaven is another time where Charlie should have taken up at least SOME of Vaggie’s words.

So glad to see Adam’s ego and stupidity finally leading to some good for the heroes, as it will be interesting to see how parts of Heaven will react to learning about the Exterminations.

Again when looking at that statue of Sera, she looks like Stella. Also if I’m right the other creature is Emily, who I guess can take on the form of a unicorn.

Aww crap Adam revealed Vaggie’s secret. I know I brought up the idea of Charlie and Vaggie’s relationship being tested, but I just meant personality wise not this, mostly cause I though Charlie already knew. Then again Charlie can be an idiot at times. Hopefully Charlie can be mature about this and thinking back to the trailer, the two do loving sing to each other, heck looks like Vaggie gets her wings back. So yeah, I’m guessing that they will be fine and their relationship will be stronger than ever.

Seriously Sera, after what you see your going to still allow Adam to do the Extermination. Then again she might not have a choice here. This is quickly confirmed with Sera expressing the “Angels scared of suffering the same fate as Lucifer” idea I brought up. Also obviously we need something to continue the series.

So Sera and Emily ARE mother and daughter, I was starting to wonder. Actually speaking of family and thinking back to “Queen Bee”, Bee brought up the question of how fallen angels and such are related, I wonder how related Lucifer and Sera are. Could Charlie and Emily be cousins? If they are, then Vaggie won’t have to worry about Charlie leaving her XD.

At least Charlie has her first angelic ally. I wonder if what Sera said and Emily clenching her fist IS foreshadowing her fate? If my idea of her being able to transform into a horse comes true, what if her demon horse form takes on the form of the horse at the end of the Spindlehorse credits.

Whew that was intense near the end. We got to see Heaven and learned some big things about it like the residents such as Molly being there or how angels have NO IDEA how judging a soul works. Then there was a big reveal that no one before the events here even knew about the Exterminations, that was a great twist if not a bit odd.

It was also great to learn more about Vaggie’s now confirmed past and be introduced to Emily and how she agrees with Charlie’s thoughts instead, making the argument less one sided. It was also funny seeing how she and Charlie got along so well which led to Vaggie being jealous at one point. Hopefully for her, Emily and Charlie turn out to be cousins.

It was nice having Cherri be in the episode, even if she almost led to Angel doing bad things and getting Charlie in trouble again. Speaking of which, it was GREAT to see that Angel HAS changed since joining Charlie. Hopefully if he learns that Molly is there, a great cameo BTW, he will amp that up to 11.

I also personally liked how stupid Adam looked in it, and now that people know the truth about Exterminations, I think it could lead to him being demoted (both related to Heaven's hierarchy and as a main antagonist in the series) and my idea of Charlie being the “chosen one” to save everyone from a great threat or the idea I have for what season 2 could be about.

The only downsides were that this was kind of the expected outcome given the episode’s place. Maybe if this was the 2nd to last episode and the finale was an hour long, it could have helped but I’m not complaining.

It was also a bummer that we didn’t see more of how Charlie feels about discovering Vaggie was an angel. At least the S1 trailer makes it clear that thing between them will be fine in the end.

The things about no one knowing about the Exterminations, or what the qualifications to get into Heaven really are, but I’m not complaining. This is actually a perfect excuse for my season finale epilogue idea where after the Extermination, Heaven agrees with Charlie and they need to rework or explore the qualifications required to get into Heaven, and Charlie plans on having a big say in it so that more people can get into Heaven whether it be after they die or through her hotel. Of course some people of Hell and Heaven will be against Charlie’s ideas, so Charlie will have to go through a multi-season storyline where she needs to keep convincing more and more powerful people that this would be a good thing, eventually having to convince God himself. All the while evil forces will try and progress its/their agenda, leading to big fights.

Now we wait for the season finale.

Told myself I'd redo Sara's story, so, here is a little rundown I guess.

Sara Jones, the Night City Reaper. (Really hope no one else has this idea)

Sara Jones. Once a rodeo cowgirl in Texas, now an assassin for Arasaka Corporation. Sara indulges in fear, though she isn't scary looking, she can be scary in other ways. At the age of 23, Sara had fallen in "love" with brilliant daughter to Michael Bernadette, Singe Bernadette. For three years, Sara worked for Michael, when the day had come, she killed him in his expensive, well maintained, Guinevere vehicle. She left Singe angry and betrayed, causing Sara to have her very own, enemy. Singe would now dedicate her life, and all her training, to killing Sara and getting revenge for her father. When asking about Sara's life, most of her accomplishments stem from her murders, excellent hacking skills, or her (not so) secret CyberFans account. On duty, Sara can be cold, ruthless, violent, and just all out inhuman. But, off work, people say she's a ray of sunshine (with occasional temper tantrums and fits of rage) and the best lover to have. Being a 30 year old woman, Sara has become obsessed with freezing herself one day, to keep herself in a age state she liked. Her personality can be described as talking to a heartless monster, who can switch it up and become the nicest person you know with the greatest sense of humor. Unlike most of the people in Night City, Sara knows that she is a villain, and a damn good one at that, she hates being called misunderstood by her peers or her colleges, seeing as she signed up for her work, for the reason to kill and get paid. It is quite rare for her to actually like someone long enough to stay around them, seeing as she gets easily annoyed and even has killed past friends and relationships for simply being bored of them. Maybe it's best to stay away from her? Unless you like being bitten by a cobra...

An early birthday present to me! I'm 31 on the 25th and I'm damned happy to be here. Also, this is yet another stride forward in my ongoing deprogramming journey! The Hello Kitty Gingerbread Cookie is a Memorial tat for my Daddy and for my Sara. When I was born, Daddy said I looked just like a gingerbread cookie which led to the nickname that was just for him: Cookie. Sara Elizabeth was stolen from us by an evil and rare brain tumor (DIPG) and she adored Hello Kitty. The icing and bow are their favorite colors: purple and pink, respectively.

The Cult I escaped from is the Jehovah's Witnesses and two of the main Rules they had was no Ink and no celebrating your birthday.

I SAY FUCK THAT AND FUCK THEM. I have reclaimed my time and my life from them and I'm never going back. I've always wanted tattoos and since my sheet music orchid healed beautifully, I returned to the same parlor and got the same excellent service and fair price.

They also helped me plan my next tattoos after my Caged Bird Free on my right tricep.

My right thigh is going to have a mural of an owl holding Medusa's head because Medusa got fucked over and I always felt bad for her. That and I'm a huge Mythology nerd. After tigers, bison, and cows, the owl is my favorite animal and it's a long time symbol of wisdom. I plan on returning to the artist who did my Orchid, although everyone in the parlor is very good.

My left tricep is going to have Venusaur with its flower in the bisexual flag colors. Bulbasaur has been my favorite Pokemon since I was a kid back in the day when there were only 150 and all its evolutions are awesome. The reason I came up with the idea is because my tattoo parlor is a station for Pokemon GO, adding bonus points to how much I love it. Plus, it's literally down the street from my house. Support your local businesses, folks!

I have some transparent waterproof bandages on the way and I have plenty of Shea butter to tend to them as I heal. I have to go out and get a travel size for when I'm at the gym and I'll probably do that while I get some more extra strength Tylenol and Gatorade for the gym.

My Fibromyalgia has been kicking my ass for the last 2 months but I'm already putting my doctors on the case and 2 new pain management docs are on standby if they can't help me. I have an appointment with my surgeon to talk about more nerve ablations and to get my weight loss supplement refilled or replaced because since I haven't been able to get refills, I gained everything I lost back and then some. Thankfully, I have a consistent gym routine and I've adjusted my diet so I know the weight gain is because of that because before I ran out, I was dropping weight slowly but steadily.

I am LIVING for The Ones Who Live. It's literally a Richonne fanfic novel come to life and it's doing 2016, Pre Negan numbers so hopefully, we'll get a Season 2 and/or a movie. It's literally leaving money on the table if they don't! Plus, Andy and Danai are in the writer's room and it shows on and off camera. They understand and love their characters as much as we do and it's just refreshing! The Walking Dead is exciting AND sensible again, LMAO!

ALSO, I saw that The Admiral has joined the original Law and Order as Jack McCoy's successor. The only actor I love more than Andrew Lincoln is Tony Goldwyn so I might pull up. My main Law and Order has always been SVU and now Organized Crime since their Leads are just as entwined as the shows buuttt, I love Tony. He's a sweetheart and can you guys imagine if they put Kerry on as a guest star linked to him??? I know she's got her own projects going on but an Olitz reunion would be so cool, especially since Elliot and Olivia ARE STILL NOT TOGETHER! Jeez, just let them fuck and love each other fully! God-DAMN!

Millie and Dean ran up the steps and began shoving their bodies into the door in an attempt to open up. On the other side, Sam ran over to the door, trying to pry it open.

"Dean! Millie! Hey, is that you?!"

"Sam, you all right?!" Millie called out, but her voice was muffled. Sam pulled out his cell and dialled Dean's cell phone, who put it on speaker.

"Tell me you slammed the front door." Dean pleaded.

"No, it wasn't me. I think it was the little girl."

"Girl?"

"What girl?" Millie asked.

"Yeah, she's out of the painting. I think it might have been her all along."

"Wasn't the Dad looking down on her?" Dean asked, while Millie attempted to pick the lock. "Maybe he was trying to warn us."

"Hey, hey, hey, let's recap later. Just get us out of here." Sam suggested.

"Well, Millie's trying to pick the lock, and the door won't budge."

"Well, then, break it down."

"Okay, genius, let me grab my battering ram!" Dean snapped.

"Knock it off!" Millie shouted.

"Dean, the damn thing's coming!"

"Well, you're gonna have to hold it off until we figure something out. Get some salt or iron."

Sam and Sarah began searching the kitchen and lounge for something to ward off the spirit, but couldn't find anything.

"What kind of house doesn't have salt? Low-sodium freaks." Sam complained, still on the phone, then turned to Sarah. "Hey, did you find any iron?"

"No, what's it for?"

"Iron repels evil spirits, but it's got to be pure. Hurry. Uh, Dean, Millie, give me a sec. Don't go anywhere." Sam told his siblings, who tried looking for another way in. "Look in the chair. Sometimes the seats..."

Suddenly, the lounge doors slammed shut as a gust of wind blew the papers everywhere. Sam and Sarah watched as the girl from the painting appeared, dragging her doll behind her, with a razor in her hand.

"Sam!" Sarah whimpered, as Sam backed away while keeping Sarah behind him. The ghost continued to approach them, with a dark look in her eyes. "That is just so wrong."

As the ghost backed the pair past the fireplace, Sam stumbled into the poker, grabbed hold of it and swung it at the girl, causing her to disappear.

"Iron?" Sarah asked.

"Yeah."

"Sam, are you okay?" Millie asked, having taken the phone off Dean, not wanting anymore arguments.

"Yeah, for now."

"How we gonna waste her?"

"I don't know. She was already cremated. There's nothing left to burn."

"Well, then, how's she still around?" Dean wondered.

"There must be something else."

"Sam, wait." Sarah said. "We used to handle antique dolls at the auction."

"Well, that's fascinating, Sarah, but important right now?"

"Back then, they used to make the dolls in the kid's image. I mean, everything. Like, they would use the kid's real hair."

"Millie? Sarah says the doll might have the girl's hair. Human remains- same as bones."

"The Mausoleum." All three realised at the same time.

Dean and Millie raced in the Impala to the Mausoleum, knocking down the locked gates. Meanwhile, Sam was searching for any sign of the ghost girl, when a cupboard was thrown across the room, pinning Sam to the ground. Sarah ran to help to push it off him, when she turned and saw the girl stood in front of her.

Back at the graveyard, the two managed to break into the Mausoleum. They spotted the doll in the glass case, and tried pounding at the glass, but it didn't break. Dean looked down at the gun in his hand, and Millie watched in shock as he began using the butt of his gun to try and break the glass. After snapping out of her stupor, Millie snatched the gun away from her brother.

"Seriously, dude?!" Millie asked, aiming the gun at the container and firing at it, causing the glass to break.

"Oh, yeah."

Back at the house, Sarah was thrown into the wall by the ghost. As the girl approached Sarah, Dean struggled to light his lighter.

"Come on! Come on!"

Sarah backed into the wall, with tears in her eyes, while Sam used all his strength to push the cupboard away. He dove in front of Sarah, as the ghost reared back the razor, but before she could strike, Dean was able to light the doll's hair on fire, which also burnt up the ghost.

Sam and Sarah laid on the floor, panting, while the girl's image reappeared in the painting.

Dean and Millie looked down at the burnt up doll, while Dean pulled out his cell to call Sam.

"Sam, you good?"

Sam looked at Sarah, both of them exhausted after the fight. "Not bad."

Island Part 1 Live Blogging

I didn't watch anything last week because of being overwhelmed and busy for the past 10 or so days but finally I'm ready to once again start a new show when I should be studying.

My main reason for watching this is really just Cha Eunwoo because I miss seeing his face. People seem to really like his character and say his acting improved so I'm even more excited. I wanted to start Korean sff shows anyway so might as well start here even though I got spoiled for a biiiiig thing that happens at the end of S2 and also people's reactions have been like good but not great.

This ep finally picked up. I'm glad we get our characters around each other now and some interesting things have started to happen beyond just "oh monster chases Miho and Van saves her." Most of all, I love Johan being daring and cheeky and beautiful and fun and eager.

Not a super big fan of female suffering due to an abusive boyfriend and threats of nudes/nsfw photos being leaked though like I wish it was just something else.

omg the big devil tree-looking monster being maneuvered by Lee Suryeon

I know it's supposed to be funny that Johan was choking while Miho and Van were arguing but :) I dislike such incompetency and callousness for the sake of humour like first of all Johan was trying to help Miho, second of all we're supposed to think Van doesn't gaf but it's not like we're supposed to think Miho is like that too considering she's trying to convince Van to save Suryeon - so it's annoying that she has no worries about Johan

It's so fucking boring that we're on episode 4, both Van and Johan get to do cool action things and even if Johan gets caught, he can hold his ground for a bit with his cool sword, while Miho has yet to even improve in her hiding/escaping/running away techniques despite already being good at fighting and training. If she was at least able to get through to Suryeon with kindness or whatever, that'd be like something but she can't do that either and yells for Van constantly like okay I'm bored

well okay at least she got to speak to Suryeon and I guess some fucking light inside her made the Benjulle disappear

A more interesting episode. I wish we got to see the weirdo abusive ex being ripped to shreds at least a little bit or maybe his dead body since we got to see Suryeon's bruised face and her vulnerable photos.

The Johan and Van fighting was pretty cool, one of the action sequences that I thought was actually fun because it involved things more than just chasing or saving Miho.

Also, I'm at least glad that Miho's rich and has connections because otherwise she'd be so fucking useless but then again, she's pretty useless with it too. She didn't seem to give a fuck when Yeomji first came to tell her that Suryeon was being abused, so I didn't think the 'empathy and kindness' would be her forte the way it is for so many female leads but then after she saw the state Suryeon was in, she did start to care more. I thought her having money would mean maybe she could actually get revenge for Suryeong but in the end, Van had to ask Bujille for help. Miho can't save herself which is irritating still 4 episodes in especially when she's been shown to know how to fight but she also can't help Suryeon much despite her status and money. What the fuck can she do by herself then except whatever pureness is inside her and whatever the prophecy will dictate?

I wish we got better-written, more interesting female characters. Yeom-ji is interesting so far, maybe she'll appear more later

Also, the thing that Chan-hee was getting and saying "It's not mine" is probably kidney and not liver lol I thought liver because they said that's what the Fox Demon stole but Chan-hee was not that.

Overall Thoughts:

The main female lead was whatever, wish she was just good at something. Whether it be at fighting demons (understandable that she isn't), was fighting back via kindness and empathy (I'll be forever floored that she's apparently feeling soooo much for fucking Van while her reaction to being told about Suryeon's situation was like hmm whatever just tell the cops), actual power due to her status/wealth/connections (but she couldn't even fucking put the abusive ex behind bars and couldn't keep her promise to Suryeon to get revenge for her and then dared to be like 'hmm idk how I feel about this' when Van got him killed), or her smarts (miss girl kept going everywhere in the woods by herself, including in the dark; she couldn't tell her friend to not come to her at night like this). She's not the worst ever because she can still stand up for herself and she has personality but I mourn that they've written her like this. I also just hate that the only other girl we've paid any significant attention to was Suryeon and I had to see her go through an abusive relationship; why can't we get some cool suffering, why do I have to see girls and women be tortured at the hands of men in this way every time?

Van is just fucking boring and I don't care. He's kinda cool but like he's not fun or interesting or endearing or tunning at my heart strings (except him as a child when he was being abused as he was trained T.T)

My beloved Johan <3333 Cha Eunwoo was my main reason for keeping an eye on this show since I watched True Beauty and was into Astro for a few weeks. He did so well <33 I liked his charming, cocky, beautiful character who was so intrigued by everything going on as if he really was 20 and curious about everything but also I liked his apprehension when it came down to it. The storyline with his brother was so T.T He had him for such a short time and it was so sad seeing him trying to do everything to save him and yet having to kill him in the end.

Also curious to see the evil brother half-demon Guntan and his sidekick niece Yeom-ji. They're both pretty cool compared to our 2 main characters. The Certified Noonas were talking about how cool Guntan is and all I could think about was "So, what if he's the devil, Rick? At least the devil has a job. At least he's active in the community." because mans is really active and murderous and a cult leader.

I wish the show flowed better in terms of the sequence of scenes and pacing and the main characters were more intriguing.

But it wasn't her fault she didn't know about it. Besides, in her mind, the not knowing only made it that much more intriguing. “That’s why I want you to show me. I trust you. And I care about you. And I want you. Isn’t that enough?”

Would you truly damn yourself for me? She shook her head, brows pinched together as she tried to make sense of his words. How could love be damnable? Though, she wasn't sure if the 'love' in this situation was entirely emotional, she knew it was certainly physical. Her body craved his, her lips yearned to crash against his until there was no air left between them, just their bodies pressed together in harmony.

“No one has to know." In a single, airy string of breath, Sarah whispered a desperate plea. "And no one will. It’s just us. There’s no one else here. Just you… and me… and our passion.” Narrowing her eyes, she quirked a brow and tried to offer a joke to lighten the mood. “Unless, of course, you are secretly hiding ladies in your closet.”

He spoke of no turning back, of going too far and, although she knew he was completely right, Sarah didn't want to listen to reason. She spent her entire life following her head instead of her heart and, for once, she wanted to let go and try something now.

“From where I’m sitting, there’s already no going back. I’ve taken the dive, so is it wrong to try and enjoy the fall? If I’m bound to crash either way, I might as well have fun on the way down. And I’m certainly having fun. Aren’t you?”

"You understand that, don't you?" He asked, his eyes filled with such tenderness that she wanted to cry. Why did he have to be so kind to her? Why did he have to be perfect in every single way except for the one way that mattered? Letting out an impatient sigh, she tilted her head and averted her gaze.

“I understand plenty. I’m a grown woman, Mister Tallmadge. I may be ignorant, but I’m not stupid. I may not know the... intricacies of how men and women make love, but I know that it’s not a simple matter. In this moment, I have the rare, fleeting freedom to choose my own fate. And I choose this. I choose you. Please don’t take that from me.”

Letting out a frustrated laugh, she shook her head in defiance. “Not having you will hurt me, too. I’d prefer the lesser of two evils.” As hard as she was trying to remain clear-headed and mature, the ache in her chest was distracting, slowly weighing her down with each passing moment. She didn’t want to come down from this high, but she didn't want to beg. She didn’t want to seem childish or desperate, and yet she didn’t know how else to make him understand.

He reached for her hand and guided it to his erection. She let out a shuddered breath as her fingers grazed across his skin, and again when he moved her hand to her own heat. She knew she should feel ashamed of how wanton she was behaving, but it was maddening how much she wanted him. Her mind was fuddled and her body burned for him and, although his protests were valid, Sarah was too far gone to listen to reason.

Pulling away slowly, the blonde furrowed her brow and looked at him pointedly. His concerns made sense, they were perfectly reasonable, but she couldn't help but think that any other man would’ve caved by now. It was a testament to how good-natured he was, of how doing this with him couldn’t possibly be a mistake. But his hesitations made her wonder if there was more he was concerned about than just her future value when it came to marriage.

“Tell me the truth,” Swallowing hard, she dared to ask the question that rose to her mind. “Are you afraid that I’ll regret it? Or that you will?”

Gently, Sarah took his hands and placed them over her breasts, trying to tempt him into sin, while wondering if he could feel the way her heart thundered beneath her ribcage.

“I’ve already bared myself to you. And you, to me.” She reminded him, a shy flush spreading across her cheeks. In an attempt to be seductive, Sarah lightly raked her fingers across his chest. She raised her eyes to meet his, fluttering her lashes and secretly praying he was weak enough to fall for it. “In the eyes of the law, of society, and of morals, we’ve already gone too far. Why stop now?”

As the last strands of her dignity slipped away, Sarah moved onto her knees and inched closer to him, resting her hands tenderly on his shoulders and leaning in closer. Gently, she peppered soft kisses across his throat and dared him to take the risk. “Come take the plunge with me, my sweet. We can fall together.”

The desperation in Sarah's mien was palpable. Her arms wrapped tightly around his shoulders, anchoring his forehead to hers as he struggled for breath.

"What is 'more than this'? What does that even mean?"

Swallowing, Benjamin offered, "Doesn't the fact that you do not know prove we shouldn't? Sarah, if you don't even realize what you're asking for, I'm reluctant to continue this, no matter how badly I might want to."

Sarah gripped at his arms, her eyes puddling and instilling in him a deep, mournful ache. She seemed so sorrowful, so sincere, so hurt, and the inner white knight in Benjamin leapt to her defense, cradling her face as he quickly reassured, "Yes, Sarah, yes, of course I want you -- and the fact that I do care for you, and quite madly, is precisely why I'm so reluctant."

Her bottom lip quivered. "I-I may never feel this way for another man, let alone a husband." His mouth dropped, and then she hooked a stray lock of hair behind his ear, her thumb gently tracing the curve of his jaw. "I may never be treated with this much care again. Would you truly wish to deny me the pleasures of love, just so another man can steal my purity?"

Benjamin drew a breath. The thought of another man, any man, touching Sarah and pawing at her soft, subtle curves nauseated him far more than he cared to admit. As wrong as it was, he wanted her -- he wanted her, and all for himself.

Growing up Thea gave you archery lessons so you could be connected to Oliver in some way and you were a naturally skilled archer just like your father.

When Courtney was putting together a team to fight the reemerging ISA you were a great fit with your cabinet full of championship trophies to prove so. 

You kept your after school activities a secret from both your aunt Thea and your boyfriend Cameron.

"I can't believe Laurel and Oliver got married and had a son" She tells you. 

"So they weren't together on your earth?" 

"No they weren't, well they were for a little bit but broke up and it's complicated." 

"Can you tell me about them? My aunt Thea doesn't talk a lot about my family," you ask her. 

She tells you stories about your parents and the countless amount of times they saved the world. 

"They may not be the Oliver and Laurel from my Earth but I know they'd be really damn proud of you Y/N. I know my Thea went through some hard times and I can only imagine yours did too, I'm sure it's just too hard for her to bring up painful memories," Sara explains. 

"I know she means well but it's hard for me too not knowing so much about their lives and everything they did for people," you tell her. 

"Well I'm sure we can figure out a way to stay in touch once we leave, hell, Barry Allen has crossed the multiverse more times than the rest of us combined." 

"Who's Barry Allen?" You ask. 

"You guys don't have the Flash here?" 

"We had a Flash twenty years ago but his name was Jay Garrick." 

"Hm, that name sounds familiar, I think he was Flash before Barry, I wonder if he didn't get his powers on this earth… anyways, what is Thea up to?" Sara says changing the topic.

"She owns the Queen coffee shop and bookstore, after we left Star City she wanted to live as much of a normal life as possible." You explain. 

"And instead you are following exactly in your parents footsteps," your aunt laughs. 

"Yeah she doesn't exactly know about all this yet," you state. 

"Don't worry your secrets are safe with me," she winks.

"So that's your wife?" You ask, looking to Ava who is trying to stop Beth from touching some very fragile looking artifacts in the library. 

You could hear Beth spewing facts that Chuck was telling her while Nate and Behrad were busy being fascinated by Courtney's stargirl staff zooming around the ship on its own. 

"Yes she is, what about you? You following the Lance legacy of stealing hearts?" 

You pull out your phone and show her a picture, "this is my boyfriend Cameron." 

"He's cute," she says, "I have to meet him after we help you get rid of this Eclipso character." 

"I would love that, but he also doesn't know I'm a vigilante, actually his dad was also kind of a bad guy but he died a few months ago and… maybe it's better if we don't talk about family with him and his creepy grandparents," you suggest.

Anna, hungover: Please tell me I'm imagining that I claimed I was king of the ducks.

Shin who just woke up after willingly dying for a girl he doesn't know is his sister. First person he sees is his DEAD BEST FRIEND who tells him the dying was REAL and NOT an evil nightmare and his dead best friend is actually alive and just didn't come back for years because it was his damn job but now that they've both died for real and everyone is back he's not letting them die in the same way because ??? who fucking knows (me I know I'm the one writing this) and then his dead best friend keeps him from leaving the room (the goddamn "hey d'you know what a majority vote is" room you know the one) again who fucking knows why (me me I do I do) and Shin falls asleep because fuck!!!! This is a lot!!!!!! He needs a nap!!!!!!!!

Meanwhile Sara is herding fucking cats out there trying to keep a hundred new people from dying (it's actually 64 because some people died in the first trial teehee) and the original death game crew is Not fucking with the death game and are figuring out how to break out successfully this time but where the fuck is Sou???? Where the actual fuck is he what's going on?????? And then the second floor opens up and Sara goes up and finds him SLEEPING COMFORTABLY WITH MIDORI. WHO SHE HAS READ THE ASU-NARO REPORTS ABOUT. AND SHE KNOWS IS LITERALLY ABUSING SHIN. AND ALL SHE CAN DO IS WAIT FOR SHIN TO WAKE UP. I mean fuck dude. Fuck. In the 36 years you spent thinking about the people who died so you could live you found out so much. You learned exactly why the man who antagonized you at every turn became that way. And you have 36 years to internalize that. To reconcile the cognitive dissonance. To look back and see that he was awful to you and it was an active choice, but he was also driven to that point intentionally by a man infinitely worse than him. And then you get to go back and try again to save everyone. Including your low-key nemesis. Who you do want to save, btw, if only to give a massive middle finger to the company that got you all here, the company that said he had no chance of survival. And he's missing. Everyone except for him is there. And when you find him he's curled up in the infinitely worse man's lap. I think I would see red. If I saw him being vulnerable around his abuser I would want to commit a murder. My god. Chat am I insane. Chat am I going fucking crazy.

I... there’s no way they’re all really dead, right? This series has been completely toothless about killing anyone who isn’t a villain until now, no way they’re permanently killing someone who’s been here since practically day 1, no way. Show me a body

And even then I’ll doubt it with all these revivals happening all over the place

Ben Diskin did not need to go so hard on the voice acting at Millium’s death he did not need to do that to me

My god when Angie drove into the graveyard and my PS4 popped up a little notification telling me it was a blocked scene, the tension in me... and I never saw that coming, I’ll have to see if it was foreshadowed at all by replaying CS1 and 2 some time

I saw Lughman being a baddie a mile away (a mysterious professor turning out to be evil in a Trails game? UNPRECEDENTED!) but he’s Alisa’s dad!?

Neat writing trick actually, since they probably knew we’d guess the former, they blindside us with the latter

I can’t express how happy it made me that the Rufus battle was Machias Jusis Elliot. My dream team!

Estelle and Joshua got mentioned so much I figured they’d make a surprise appearance at the end and save the day

So. Characters:

Rean: Rean is once again moderately more interesting than he was before, but still the least interesting person in the game. I guess he’s got some guilt that’s actually justified now, that’s cool? 

I ship him with Crow, not because the pairing really appeals to me that much, but because being shipped with Crow would totally piss Rean off and I find that extremely funny

His relationship with Altina is the best relationship he’s ever had with a female character and it is 100% because she’s the only girl he’s never ship teased with

(I don’t have an issue with the concept of ship tease itself, I have an issue with Rean-ship tease because 1. I still truly do not understand why so many girls like him so much and 2. None of it will ever canonically go anywhere)

(Seriously I’m so tempted to write a breakdown of why every other guy in Erebonia is more desirable than Rean)

Juna: I like Juna. I realised early on that she and Kurt remind me of Estelle and Joshua, without being carbon copies, and that’s good. I also think her relationship with Rean was really interesting - ‘I don’t know how to feel about you because you saved my life, but it also wouldn’t have needed saving if it weren’t for your country’s actions, which you’ve played a major role in - but now I’m being forced to confront that you’re a human being too’ is a really complicated situation for her. It’s a lot more interesting than ‘I don’t like you because you accidentally got a face full of chest’, Alisa

I also really liked using her, I ended up loading her with the Platinum Pecky Medal and defensive stuff, and she was a wall, she took an S-craft from Arianrhod in her stride! My buff girl!

She should’ve just been the new protagonist ngl

Kurt: Kurt had a lot to live up to, seeing as his brother is my favourite minor character. And oh does he succeed, Kurt is my favourite of New VII, he’s a good straight man, he’s great in battle, I like his arc, I like his friendship with Juna, I like Kurt

Altina: I was not sure about Altina just... being a student now. But damn if she didn’t have the best character arc in the game. I only did her final bonding event on a whim, but it’s the best one I saw. My girl Allie deserves the damn world

I really, truly believe those three have a bond as well, they’re very well written as a group. This was a problem I had with Old VII, the fact that so many of them just... didn’t have relationships with each other. How do, say, Fie and Machias feel about each other? I have no idea. But this group has a fantastic dynamic and it makes that ending so much more effective

It’s like I praised Crossbell for, really - having a small core group is much more manageable in terms of giving them all equal screen time and getting me to care about them

Musse: Uh, kind of one-note and annoying, honestly. I don’t hate her or anything, but like... she’s either Being Mysterious or Hitting On Her Teacher (I hate it I hate it so much). It’s just hard to care about someone who’s clearly so fake, I guess? I’m definitely interested in her, but like... I don’t really like her

Ash: Poor boy. I thought Ash was such an interesting character (and man do I love having someone around who does not like Rean, and never really changes his mind about it). Ash is very well done imo

Alisa: Alisa is good when the issue is her family drama, and is so goddamn boring when it comes to Rean. Nothing new there

Elliot: I love his little ponytail I love it he’s so cute I want to hug him so bad

Laura: Winner of the ‘best new outfit’ award (was never that fond of her war outfit, but this one is perfect). Still good, but not notably so. I feel so bad for Laura, she tries so hard to matter, but she’s by far the character you’d have the easiest time lifting out of the game

And while I love Elliot... same situation really. You could go back to the start and have one character named Elliaura who likes swords and music and has two big-shot dads, and you wouldn’t lose much

Machias: Took down Rufus, yeah, destroy your best friend (boyfriend)’s evil family! Winner of the ‘worst new outfit’ award, AGAIN. Also winner of ‘dorkiest S-craft’. I did his final bonding event first, and according to Playstation trophies it’s the least popular one! Stop sleeping on my boy Machias guys, I know he was annoying in the first game but I love him :(

Gaius: Special award to Gaius for finally being interesting! Boy’s a Gralsritter now, did not see that coming!

And of course it happened off screen. Because god forbid interesting stuff happen to Gaius when we’re actually around

Oh also goddamn, that is a beautiful man

Emma: Don’t really like the new outfit. It’s kind of remarkable that she’s so important but I keep forgetting she exists. Exposition witch who sometimes just doesn’t deliver the exposition I guess

Fie: Still my fav girl. Wish there had been more focus on her feelings about her dad coming back to life. Like that she’s a bracer

Jusis: Wasn’t sure how to feel about his newly close friendship with Millium because I was concerned that I was meant to ship it (by far my least favourite thing about this franchise is that that was not an unreasonable concern, as it wouldn’t even be the most inappropriate relationship in this game alone). Very, very glad it was confirmed sibling-y (not that it’s stopped them before). He didn’t really get to do anything else, sadly, but he’s good as always

I did the Purebread contest with him, and he made bread from coffee beans Machias gave him, the Ferdibert Fire Emblem energy-

My kids Tita and Agate are back and completely overshadowed by people teasing this almost 30-year old man about being in love with a 17 year old that he’s only ever claimed to see as a sister, I swear to god

Michael’s fine, I guess? He’s kind of bland but I guess that’s kind of the point and I like him just fine. He serves his purpose well

I’ve never really liked Claire all that much, but she’s fine in this one again I suppose. A bit disappointed by the Lechter reveals really, I had expected more, to be honest

Aurelia is a fun character and I enjoy her as the principal. Want to see her fight Cassius

I love my girl Annabelle, but she’s the only reason I didn’t get all the character profiles (how was I meant to know I could even go to the highway at that point hmmm Falcom!?)

They picked a good selection of returning Thors students. Even Dorothee isn’t as annoying as she used to be. Hilarious that she’s the only one who didn’t get a profile

Juna gave a great big speech about how awesome the SSS are and namedrops everyone EXCEPT WAZY! My FAVOURITE Crossbell character! So offensive!

Oh speaking of offensive I took Machias to the Mishy show and was told he and Rean did a Mishy dance but they didn’t show it, what the hell-

Playable Olivier! Olivier back story! I could write a goddamn essay on why Olivier is such a great character. Glaring at you Falcom

Ada Grant is wonderful and I want better things for her

Rufus is a damn great villain just because of how much sense his actions suddenly make when you know that one little detail of him not actually being Jusis’s brother

I hate Cedric but like, in a way where I’m having fun hating him. That little bitch

I still cannot stand Elise. Something I realised playing this game is that one of the things that stops the Estelle and Joshua relationship from being as weird as it could be is that they don’t look at all alike, it’s very clear they’re not related in the slightest. Elise and Rean look like they really could be siblings, and come to think, so do Lloyd and Cecile. Which is also teased, to a lesser extent. It would be so much less uncomfortable if they just swapped Elise and Alfin’s models ngl (though still not good)

inb4 the final plot twist of the whole series is that Estelle and Joshua actually were biological siblings all along

This game looks so much better than its predecessors. Having the models being a little rounder and softer looking makes it look much more like an updated version of the original style than the complete departure that was CS1 and 2. Every time there was a flashback, Rean would be like ‘back then...’ and I’d feel compelled to say out loud ‘when we were shiny, and looked bad!’

‘Evil ancient magic corrupts people into making them do bad things!’ is... honestly a bit of a cop out that I did not expect from this series 

I found Rean telling Patrick ‘leave room for Aidios when dancing with my sister’ extremely funny. Rean would totally be a Christian summer camp counsellor in the real world

I honestly would have enjoyed it a lot more if Alfin decided to cause a scandal and have her first dance with Elise, but we can’t have such luxuries I suppose

When you get that book on dystopias, very clever to put the author on the last page. Seeing the name Gideon gave me such a start

Racquel was easily my fav new location

Leeves > Trista no doubt, maybe I’m just biased because it looks a lot like the village I grew up in but it’s just such a nicer design

Also the branch campus > main campus purely for being smaller, making the filler segments between field trips more bearable 

I prefer the longer but fewer chapters set-up, I think

There’s so many sad faces in this write up :( 

Back when I played Sky SC, I said something about how one of the themes is ‘you are not defined by your trauma’. I now think it would be more accurate to say that the theme of all the games (but especially the Sky arc) is ‘don’t let your worst experiences define you’

Because there are characters who define themselves by their traumas and worst experiences - and those characters are all villains, or miserable, or both. Like, they don’t phrase it as such, but the requirement to be an Ouroboros enforcer is ‘have trauma and define yourself by it’

And both Joshua and Renne’s arcs are about learning not to do that

Equally, the idea that ‘it’s much easier to not to define yourself by your trauma when you have a good support system that wants the best for you’ is a big theme as well

I just think that’s a really interesting idea for a JRPG series to tackle, idk

I can’t believe I’m at the last game! This series has been my life for the past near-half a year, what do I do when I finish it?

The sun was shining with all her force through the thick blanket of clouds above us, trying her best to let the people of Gotham City take in some sunlight, to feel the warmth, but still, everything seemed dark and dull. The whole city always had been dull, sad and depressing in my opinion. Everyday you were living the same, boring life, could see how the rich got even richer, how the poor people lose everything, and how the number of crimes increased dramatically. I've heard a lot about this so-called Batman who was fighting evil, who was standing up for us people, but I've never actually seen him and so I wasn't completely sure if he even existed.

Who knows, maybe he was just an invention made by the rich to give us poor people some hope? I couldn't tell, but I kind of didn't care. With or without a Batman, the city was lost.

"Jane." Confused I looked up from my path to the girl with the black hair, who was now walking next to me, wearing a glowing, pink rain jacket over her school uniform, even though not a single drop of rain has fallen yet.

"How can someone be so happy this early a day?" I asked when I realized how happy she seemed to be.

"You would also be happy if you knew that your crush wants to ask you out for a date today," Aimee, that was her name, announced happily.

"Brian wants to ask you out? How do you even know that?" I asked excitedly, but Aimee had a crush on Brian for over a year now, and to be honest, I kind of had lost my hope that they will ever be a thing, but the luck was on Aimee's side, finally. "Sara told me that Brian had told it her brother and oh damn... I'm so nervous, but I have to act cool and relaxed when he is going to ask me," she said with excitement and smiled brightly, and I was a little less depressed now that I saw her this happy. I was the happiest when the people I cared about were it too, and Aimee was my best friend, my only real friend, and to see her this cheerful, made my day.

"But if he wants to go and see a movie," Aimee continued to tell me about her ideas of how this date will pass while we entered the school grounds, "Then I have to wear something completely different and... oh no, what does Eric wants from us?" I followed her gaze to Eric, an annoying and slimy boy, who was in our class, and who tried to woo me for months now, but I would prefer to die over dating him, ever. He was the worst. Typical, spoiled boy whose parents had more than enough money, and who therefore thought everyone should adore him. He was a jerk.

"Ladies, I think it would be the best if you won't go all by yourself to school anymore," he greeted us, and I rolled my eyes from his arrogant voice.

"We can take care of ourselves!" Aimee said snappily, but of course Eric couldn't let it be.

"Is that so? And if you meet the Joker on your way?"

"Who is the Joker?" I asked and saw how Eric and Aimee looked taken aback at me.

"You are kidding, right? You don't know who the Joker is?" Eric asked and I shrugged.

"He is a complete maniac," Aimee explained, "Sat the last years in the high security area, but when they tried to move him to the Arkham, he escaped yesterday."

"If he is this famous and dangerous, why haven't I heard from him before?" I asked confused, but his name didn't mean anything to me but with all the criminals in the city it was hard to keep track of who was who.

"You only live here for one and a half year, this is when they got him and locked him up," Eric explained, and we entered the building. Everywhere people were talking anxiously about the Joker, he really seemed to be famous. What did he do to be so well known? It looked like he must be really bad.

"But if he really is such a big, evil person, how did they manage it to lock him up for almost two years?" I asked Aimee quietly, while Eric finally left us, and she began to search for her Brian in hope that he would ask her out.

"No idea. Some people say, he wanted to be locked up, that this is all part of some sick plan of his, but I tell you one thing: If you ever meet him, say your last prayers, because this encounter won't be anything you will survive." Her words kept me thinking. I never was this scared of the city, thanks to my older brother and my father who once was in the military. They taught me how to defend myself, how to handle some weapons, but an encounter with the big maniacs of this city was a number too big for me, and I really wanted to keep as much distance as possible between me and this Joker.

Now...

It was weird to think back to this day three years ago. Back then, I was this normal girl, had no idea about the real dangers of the world and had heard for the first time the name of the man who would change my life completely. The man who changed me. I couldn't stop myself from smiling when I thought about him, about everything that was, considering not all was bad, on the contrary. Without him I would be gone from this world for a long time now, without him everything would be so meaningless. He taught me to believe in something, to give life some meaning, but this place had destroyed all his good work on me. I was nothing but some ruined piece of art. Who knew if there was a chance of ever fixing me again? I had no idea, didn't even know if I should hope for ever coming out of here, and even if all of this is true and I had the chance of getting out, what would happen next? What should I do then? Where should I go? So many questions, and I had no idea if I would ever get some answers.

The loud noise of the door opening fetched me back from my daydreaming, and I looked to Officer Cocksucker, Dan, who seemed to be in a very bad mood. Some days had passed by since my meeting with Amanda Waller. I've tried my best to eat my food, to quit my little strike, but I need the power. I was too weak, needed the food, the energy, so I ate the horrible shit they gave me, wanted to gain some weight again for whatever the mission was. It wouldn't be easy, if it was some nice and easy job, they wouldn't recruit criminals for it. We would all probably die during the next days, but at least we would die in freedom, far away from this prison.

"Well darling, here is your big moment," he said, and I stood up, sighing, was kind of unsure about the whole situation, was scared of what would happen out there.

"What is going to happen now?" I asked carefully and walked to him, but he rolled his eyes clearly annoyed and grabbed my arm.

"You will see," he said simply, and I knew he was this unhappy because he didn't want to lose me, his favourite toy when it comes to torture. Oh yeah, he was pissed about it and he should be. If I really get out of here after this whole thing, I will find him, and I will kill him!

"You can spare me with your bad mood," I said boldly while he pulled me through the corridors, and this was probably the first time I wasn't screaming while he pulled me with him. Making a scene wouldn't help me, I would just make everything more difficult for myself, after all I will leave this shithole.

"Don't think you can become sassy now," he said and turned into a new direction. He wasn't going to the familiar torturing room or the doctor's office, but somewhere new. What kind of room was the destination? The exit? I doubted to be released this easy, they won't just send criminals out there without some necessary precautions. Who was going to be part of this group besides me? There must be others, and from my little encounter with Waller I assume that Harley would be one member for sure. Oh boy. I really don't want to see her again.

"I've always been sassy to you," I mumbled quietly, had no strength for focusing myself on the conversation anymore when we entered a room, which was all white. The walls, the ceiling, the furniture, everything was white in here, and it seemed to be some sort of medical office, which wasn't good. I don't like medical offices, they always meant pain, tests and creepy doctors, it was scary.

"I deliver Jane Parker," Dan said, and before I could realize anything more, he pulled me to some weird device which seemed like you would normally transport beverage crates with it. He tied me to it, and first I wanted to scream and defend myself, but it was probably for the best to behave myself and to act more sane than crazy, to cooperate.

"Good, she will be the last," a woman said and walked with a big needle in her hands towards me, which I faced with big eyes. "W-What are you doing?" I asked her scared, but without answering, she pushed the needle in my neck, and I inhaled painfully, but it was just for some seconds, after that it was bearable.

"Good, bring her to the others," she said to Dan, and I was once again shocked to see how bad they treat you here, like you weren't even human, just some sort of thing, and all because you are some filthy criminal.

"Come on darling," Dan said now a little happier, since he was able to slide me in this thing, had some sort of power over me again. Bastard.

"You know that once I come out of here, you will die?"

"What do you want to do? Go to the Joker? He replaced you, and without him you have no chance against me," he said and I couldn't deny that his words were hurtful, and I swallowed uncomfortably, but I didn't want to rely all my life on some man, and I knew that if I train a little bit more, gain more weight again, I will be able to kill him.

"I will manage it all alone," I said quietly, made a promise, but it didn't matter when we finally left the building, entered some sort of yard and nothing was important anymore because I was outside.

For two years I haven't seen the sky, haven't felt the wind on my skin, couldn't enjoy the heat of the sun, and now I was here, was finally out. I inhaled greedily the fresh air, looked around me with childlike eyes, wanted to explore the new environment and felt how I got Goosebumps from the warm sunlight. This was real and still it felt like a dream, it was too good to be true. I was out, I was really out, away from all the sad walls, the horrible building.

I knew one thing: I never wanted to live without all of this for such a long time ever again. I never wanted to be locked up again and to end up in this prison. To finally be out, it was some sort of miracle. If I had known back then when I was locked up how bad I would miss all of this, how horrible it would be in captivity, I probably would have enjoyed my freedom more, all of this small things around me. I would never make this mistake ever again.

"I bring Jane Parker," Dan said when we reached Rick Flag.

"Jane Parker," Rick said and eyed me again like he still couldn't believe that he really would work with some child.

"Glad to see you, kiddo," Floyd said and smiled. My heart jumped excitedly to see him, even though he was also tied to this weird device, but he was really here, part of this mission.

"Long time no see." "Way too long." "Ok enough," Rick interrupted us, and I saw to all the others, who were part of this thing. There was one guy who looked like some weird mix between a crocodile and a lizard, next to him was some other guy who looked like a typical petty criminal. Then there was a guy who was covered in tattoos and looked a little bit like he was suffering to be here. Next to him was another weird guy, and on his other side was to my deepest displeasure no one else than the bloody Harley Quinn. She had no idea that I was before her the favourite toy of her beloved Joker, that I was the queen at his side, but still we two knew each other.

"So, we finally see each other again," she said happily to see me, and I couldn't do anything but look at her kind of shocked, but what was I supposed to say? She was the new girl at the Joker's side, and it was painful to even look at her and to know that she was special to him, that she was the one with whom he had replaced me. Yeah, he had no idea that I was still alive, but this didn't make all of this easier.

"Yeah, finally," I mumbled.

Rick started talking and explained to us, that we all got trackers in our necks, and if anyone tries to escape, he will blow us up without a second thought. I had no idea if this was real or if he was just talking, but I wouldn't try to find out.

"You will get your old stuff now, so you will be equipped," Rick said when we finally got free from this scary devices, and before I knew what was happening, Floyd reached me and hugged me. It was a weird feeling, but to be honest, it felt nice to be this close to someone again who you actually cared about. I felt better, it was like some weight left my body and I could breathe again.

"I'm happy to see you all good and well," he said when he brought some space between us again. For him this probably also had been the first freely human contact after a long time.

"So, we will go through this together?" "We two and a bunch full of freaks," he mumbled amused, and I followed his gaze to the others who inspected their old stuff, and I almost threw up when I saw Harley being happy over some of her costumes she definitely got from the Joker.

"Your chests," Rick said and brought us our stuff, and I really didn't want to open mine, see my past in it, but I probably had no other choice. The things inside this chest were the things I wore before my life had changed, this was the stuff I got from the Joker, which I wore the last time I've ever seen him.

Slowly I opened it just to inhale painfully when I saw the black dress, I've worn the day I came here, the day everything had changed. I saw to my knife collection I've always worn somewhere on my body, but the real thing, which made everything so hard, was to see the silver necklace with the letter J as pendant. Most people would assume the J stands for Jane, but I knew it better. It was a J for Joker, and I really didn't want to wear this again.

"I need new cloths," I said, took my knives and also the necklace, even though I wouldn't wear it, but I just couldn't throw it away, I had not the strength to do so.

It was a weird feeling to hold some dangerous weapons again, to have so much power in your hands, but it also reconnected me with my past, and I wasn't ready to relive it.

"What is wrong with your clothes?" Rick asked clearly annoyed because of Harley who made a big show by changing her clothes in front of all of them and standing half naked in the yard.

"This is a dress," I said like the problem was obvious, which it was, after all I couldn't fight in a dress, it would be inconvenient.

"I don't believe it," he sighed annoyed, "Bring her some new clothes, some dark clothes, we need to try being more ordinary.

"I think ordinary won't fit us," Harley said, looking to the crocodile man who seemed upset by this. Oh god. One thing was sure, I would lose my mind during this mission, simply because Harley was part of it, and she would always remember me of things I just want to forget.

Warning: Mentions of kidnapping plus it has its angsty moment

Summary: It finally seemed like the Legends had a moment to rest... but nothing was ever that easy. When (Y/n) is swiped from the Waverider, the Legends have to go on a hunt for answers. What can the team do to find her and take done a new villain.

Author’s Note: I INVENTED MY OWN FUCKING VILLAIN and he’s based on the Hadestown version Hades. Also, this is all in Sara’s point of view.

**Sara’s P.O.V**

“Have any of you seen (Y/n),” I asked the team as I walked into the main room. They all looked at each before shaking their heads. “Gideon.”

“Yes, Ms. Lance,” Gideon replied.

“Will you do a search for (Y/n) on the ship,” I crossed my arms. There was a few seconds of silence before Gideon spoke again.

“There’s no trace of Ms. (Y/l/n) on the ship,” my heart dropped. “Would you like me to search the timeline for her?”

“Absolutely,” I nodded.

The rest of the team was standing behind me at this point. All of us were confused and scared. (Y/n) wasn’t one to just run off and not say anything. That’s one of the best things about her. She was reliable and honest as all hell.

“Maybe she stopped for groceries and we forgot her,” Ray shrugged. We all looked over. “She says that happened a lot to her.”

“Wait... how does that happen more than once,” Zari asked. Ray shrugged.

“She said that once she got so upset, she ended up taking out the power in the building,” he continued. “It’s how she discovered her electricity-based powers.”

“I have located her but it is not possible to get the Waverider there,” Gideon explained. I sighed, closing my eyes and letting my head drop. “However; I found someone who could help us.”

“Where are they and what’s their name,” I asked as fast as possible. 

“I cannot find a name but we can land right outside their home,” she continued. “They seem to be a psychic.”

“So they’re expecting us?”

“Yes, Ms. Lance.”

“Everyone strap in,” I clapped my hands. “We have a team member to go save.”

“Sara,” Zari grabbed my arm. “We’ll find her. She’ll be okay.”

“Thanks,” I gave her a small smile.

I sat down and looked over my shoulder. (Y/n) usually sat in the seat right over my shoulder. Every time we would go to leave, she would smile and nod at me to tell me that we were ready to go. I hope that she’s alright, wherever she is.

“Ms. Lance, are we ready to go,” Gideon asked.

“Yes,” I shook my head to clear my thoughts. “Let’s go.”

I was the first to walk out of the Waverider once we had landed. An old woman walked out and smiled at us.

“It is time,” she said. “You are the Legends, correct?”

“Yes,” I nodded. “We were told that-”

“I can help you get to (Y/n),” she finished my sentence. “Yes, I can. But there’s an exception. Only one of you can go. Your whole team will be killed if they all go. One of you needs to be able to snap her out of the curse she’s in.”

“Curse,” I furrowed my eyebrows. The woman nodded. “I’ll go.”

“Sara-” I cut Zari off before she could continue.

“I know her best,” I snapped. “You guys go back on the Waverider and keep your eyes open. We’ll come back running so make sure you can get ready to leave as fast as possible.”

“Okay,” she said as the rest of them nodded, heading back to the Waverider. I turned back to the woman in front of me.

“Here,” she held a cuff out to me. “It will keep his powers from affecting you.”

“And when I (Y/n),” I asked, putting the cuff on.

“She should be invincible to his power after the spell is broken,” she explained. “Just remind her of things. Feelings. Memories.”

“Okay,” I nodded. “How will you bring me back?”

“I’m a psychic, dear,” she smiled at me. “I’ll know.”

“Thank you,” I replied. She grinned at me and bowed her head for a moment. 

I let out a sigh and nodded again, telling her that I was ready to go. She closed her eyes and held her hands out to me. I stood at the ready as a cloud of smoke surrounded me. 

The smoke cleared and I looked around at the dark area surrounding me. It looked like there was fire coming from a factory or town nearby. I put my hand on my sword’s handle and walked slowly towards the walls surrounding the area. 

I looked through a small hole in the brick. I could the line of people, feet dragging, back hunched, all sweaty and exhausted. (Y/n) was among those people. She was one of the people that was stuck in this line. 

My gaze moved up to a platform. I could just barely see the bottom of someone’s legs. They weren’t working, they were watching. That must be the man that the old woman had told me about. I looked around and found a small opening to sneak through. 

I hid in the shadows of the line of workers until I found a place where I could hide and watch all of them. I was trying to spot (Y/n) in the crowd but there were so many people.

“Hello,” I jumped to turn around and stand straight when someone spoke. The man was standing behind me. “I’m afraid you’re lost.”

“I don’t think I am,” I sassed back. 

He was strange. Everything was almost normal except for his eyes which were verging on orange. He tilted his head and smirked when I answered him. 

“I’ll say that again,” he stepped closer to me. “I think you’re lost.”

“I’ll repeat myself then,” my hand tightened on my weapon. “I don’t think I am.”

He looked down at my hand for a second and chuckled. I was about ask what was so funny when he flicked his wrist and sent me flying. I landed in the middle of the circle of workers. My heart stopped when I finally saw who I was looking for.

I ran up the line and tried to stop her.

“(Y/n), it’s me,” I said. “It’s Sara. You remember? Sara... and Zari... and Ray... and Mick! Oh! And Rip! You remember Rip, right? You insisted on watching him when we captured his evil version. You and Ray would always geek out with each other. Mick stole your food once and you absolutely kicked his ass even though he’s like double your size.”

Nothing. I felt tears in my eyes. I saw the man walk through the line of workers. 

“You’re the reason I stayed with the Legends, remember,” I asked. “We talked about it and agreed to stay so we could keep each other company. Since then, so much has changed. You may not know it but so much is different. I... goddammit... I love you, (Y/n)!”

“You do,” I heard her speak softly. I nodded as fast as possible.

“I don’t think you belong here-”

I shielded myself as the man went to swing on me. He flew backwards as a shock of lightning hit- what I was assuming was- his dick. I looked at (Y/n). 

Her back wasn’t hunched. She was standing strong. Damn. 

“You bitch,” the man hissed. “Get back in line!”

“No,” she snapped, stepping forward. I stood next to her. If she was going to fight, so was I. “You won’t sneak up on me again.”

“I don’t have to,” he got right up in her face. “Get. back. in. line.”

“I don’t have to listen to you,” she shocked his arm so he would step back. “None of them do. What happens when they break out of their spell?”

“They won’t.”

We all turned around at the sound of a thumb. One of the workers had stopped in his tracks. He looked at the three of us. He straightened his back and clapped the shoulder of the worker behind him, who was also standing up straighter.

“Oh my god,” I mumbled. 

It was exactly what you expected a domino effect to be. Everyone was standing straight, looking at each other. It looked like they forgot where they were. Until everyone saw the man. I grabbed (Y/n)’s hand as they all started glaring at him.

“You’re so screwed,” (Y/n) smirked, letting go of my hand to shock the man again. He fell to his knees. “Have fun with your mistake.”

I grabbed her hand again and dragged her to the original opening I had gone through. She followed me and yelled when smoke surrounded us. We landed right outside the Waverider again, the old woman smiling at us.

“Thank you,” I said. She nodded

“Now go,” she waved her hands to motion us towards the ship. I pulled (Y/n) on board.

“Alright, everyone strap in,” I yelled. Everyone ran to their seats. I had locked myself in and looked over my shoulder. (Y/n) smiled and nodded at me. I turned back to the controls.

We all took a moment to breathe as everything settled down. All of the others went about their business, mostly going to their rooms so they could get some rest. 

“Hey, Sara,” (Y/n) called my name before I could head off to my room. “I wanted to say thank you.”

“You would’ve done that for any of us,” I shrugged, smiling at her.

“Can I ask you something,” she walked closer to me. I nodded at her. “You said earlier that you loved me. Is that true?”

“Of course,” I confirmed. She looked down and blushed.

“Well, I love you too,” she replied awkwardly. “Good night.”

“No good night kiss,” I asked with a smirk. 

She stopped for a second. I was nervous that I had somehow overstepped. That disappeared when she jogged back over to me and cupped my cheeks, kissing me softly.

“Happy now,” she teased after she pulled back. I nodded. “Good night, Sara Lance.”

“Good night, (Y/n) (Y/l/n),” I bit my lip as she walked away. It was nice to have her back. It was... really, really nice.

Recommending Free Old School RPGMaker Horror Games based on what Entity You Vibe With The Most

The Hunt: The Crooked Man. You play as David Hoover, a man going through a rough patch in his life who feels as though he has little prospects for a future and who cares for a mother who doesn’t even recognize him. After realizing that his house is haunted, he goes on a quest to see if he can find the previous owners and figure out what’s going on, all the while chased by a monster called the Crooked Man...

This ironically enough also applies as a recommendation to Martin kinnies. This is also one of the few games on the list where you’re expected to fight back.

The Slaughter: The Witch’s House. You play as Viola, a girl who must find a way out of the woods she’s trapped in. She eventually ends up having to enter the constantly warping witch’s house, where she has to figure out the mystery of the witch before the house kills her...

The character that’s being slaughtered is you. Literally anything can kill you and if you so much as look at an object wrong a random death will trigger. It is trying to hurt your character specifically all the time.

The Spiral: Yume Nikki. You play as Madotsuki, a recluse who refuses to leave her small apartment. When you go to sleep is when the game begins; your goal is to open 12 doors into a myriad of strange and unexplained worlds and collect artefacts which distort the main character’s body beyond recognition. I don’t know what else to say honestly; this is just as Spiral as it gets.

The Flesh: Porterminus. You play as Julie, a spunky teen who ends up getting controlled by an eldritch cat into fighting a myriad of terrifying flesh abominations to stave off an equally eldritch plot. A lot of the enemies look genuinely gnarly (especially since most of them used to be human) so big body horror warning on this one.  

The Lonely: Escaped Chasm. In this game by Temmie Chang (and the prequel to Dweller’s Path), you play as a girl who is wholly alone, waiting for her parents to come home as reality begins to fall apart around her. This one isn’t particularly long, but the atmosphere is genuinely lonely enough to make you ache, and there’s no save function, meaning you have to finish in one shot. The cut scenes also happen to be fully animated and are absolutely gorgeous.

The Eye: Your Turn to Die ~Death Game by Majority~. You play as Sara Chidouin, a kidnapped high school student who suddenly finds herself in the midst of a life or death game with ten other people. The name of the game is simple, really- after being given challenges with which to build trust and camaraderie, all contestants must vote on who among them will have to die, debating on the merits of each person’s life using all the information you’ve gathered at your disposal.

This one narrowly avoided being classified as The End by the virtue of the death game itself, which you discover more about as the characters try to plan an escape- the people running it just want to see what happens. And you, as the player, may just want to see how things play out as well.

The End: Mad Father. You play as Aya Drevis on the night of the anniversary of her mother’s death. She and her mother knew that her father was experimenting on humans, often using people deemed of little value to perfect his work in attempting to overcome death. On this night, his subjects come alive and attack, and it’s up to Aya to save her father- if he even deserves to be saved.

This one is mostly in The End for the theming of it- there’s a large theme running throughout the game, especially if you do side quests, about the meaning of life and helping people pass on to their deaths, and whether someone has the right to decide whether to hasten the inevitable.

The Dark: Forest of Drizzling Rain. You play as Shiori, a college student with amnesia who goes back to her hometown in an attempt to illuminate all the gaps in her memory. The village is haunted by the legend of Kotori Obake, said to be the ghost of a woman looking for her child, and whose arrival is always precipitated by rainfall... It’s up to Shiori and the mysterious museum owner, Suga, to figure out how to escape the spirit’s clutches.

This gets to be the Dark due to the fear of the unknown, which this game has in spades. This one also happens to have the plus of one of the protags, Suga, actually being mute but not a silent protagonist (as he communicates primarily through notes, which are displayed on screen), which was a really nice touch.

The Corruption: LiEat (1, 2, 3). You play as the lie-eating dragon Efina and her guardian, a con-artist whose name changes each game, as both travel from town to town to solve the mysteries surrounding a horror story. Each game centers around a different mystery, but the common thread is how Efina eats lies: by being in proximity to a liar, she can make lies appear as creatures to eat, and if the liar has deluded themselves enough, their lies will consume them and turn them into oil-smeared monsters.

These games are a little more tame compared to some others on this list, and are honestly a great ride for if you love parent-child interactions. (Fun fact: we loved these so much, we actually loosely based our eye-eating dragon Jon au off of it!)

The Buried: Mermaid Swamp. You play as Rin Yamazaki, a woman going on vacation with three of her friends when the car breaks down in the middle of the mountains. While they’re able to find shelter at an old mansion near a damp and dirty swamp, things start to go south when their friend Mika comes down with an unexplainable illness and a constant feeling of being drowned...

I’d go a little more detail into the Buried themes of it, but, well, that would run right into spoiler territory. Please heed the trigger warnings provided at the link.

The Vast: Witch’s Heart. You play as Claire Elford, an ordinary woman suddenly swept away into a manic search for the fabled Witch’s Heart. While every version of the story is different, every story has the same thing in common: the Heart has the power to grant someone’s deepest wish. Claire, now trapped in a mansion in the heart of the mountains with four others, must fight her way through a variety of monsters and spectres to try and find a way out, all the while exploring vast spaces hidden through portals throughout the house...

This one is Vast less because of the heights and vast places (though there are many here) but for the everpresent feeling that no matter what you do against the vastness of the universe and fate, it doesn’t matter. Getting further into it would be spoiler territory, and I feel like it’s best experienced without knowledge :)

The Desolation: OFF. You take control of the Batter, who has the sole mission of “purifying” the entire world of evil. The entire world, as it turns out, is also just incredibly unsettling.

It may not exactly be a horror game, but  it’s extremely disconcerting and you genuinely cannot get more desolate than this game. I don’t want to spoil the ending (even if the game is like over 10 years old at this point) but suffice it to say, when the credits rolled and “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” started playing for the first time, I felt like everything someone ever loved was burned to the ground, and like I couldn’t do a damn thing about it.

The Stranger: Ib. You play as the titular Ib, a child trapped in a haunted art gallery who has to try and get to the real world alongside two friends she finds along the way. That’s easier said than done, however, with everything in the gallery coming to life and trying to kill you...

There are a lot of things that mark this as a Stranger game, but to avoid touching on the twist, the most genuinely frightening part is That Doll Room. You’ll know it when you see it.

The Web: Close Your Eyes (Original). In this one, you play as a bouncy little Marshmallow Monk who has just escaped death row and is currently running for their life. Before too long, they find themselves in a constantly changing, distorted world, egged on by a mysterious entity called the Narrator who watches their every action and guides their every movement. The goal: get out of this alive.

This one also very narrowly avoided being branded as The Eye due to the eye imagery, the spider, the manipulation, and the Narrator, who is fully voice acted.
