how come in the year of our lord 2024 i JUST stumbled upon the twisted dysfunctional hot mess that is Olitz. these two are the most toxic and unhealthy people ever and yet i want them to be together???? fitz doesn't respect olivia's sexual or emotional boundaries (and once when he was super drunk, he even sexually assaulted her!) but he also clearly loves her so much ???? the man is WHIPPED! he went to war for her! he did everything for her!! what!! there's no reason other than chemistry for me to like these two together and yet I DO. tony and kerry are so hot together and i just cant AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

There's nothing like how much Olivia and Fitz lie to themselves and each other. Love when Liv pretends she isn't down bad (s1), or when circumstances have her be on her feelings in a way that's difficult and real (s3) and when she's all over the place in s5, s6, and s7 but the love is still there and it shows in the most confusing and complex ways.

Fitz in s7. His love? Always there but he gets to be a little mean bc he's mad at olivia. Love when they don't say what they mean. Yes, look at each other angrily and argue about different things (plot of the week) that's actually about your relationship

Hello Im a new fan of the show and yours and I have a question: I ve seen from edits but also recently when the cast was in Detroit that Tony and Bellamy kiss on the mouth. I know they are friends and hang out a lot since I believe they live close but isn't it weird? Tony is married( but it was an arranged marriage allegedly) and Bellamy has a boyfriend I think and she also spent quality with her bfs parents. I just want to know your opinion

*Eye* do not think it’s weird. I think it’s convenient (both Kerry and Bellamy’s characters play partners to Tony’s Fitz) . Bellamy sometimes acts as a foil against T & K rumours/ obvious closeness. The whole cast kinda plays shield in various ways (except Foley who is not great at being fake because I think he truly does not care. Being that he is a Cancerian, they have trouble with being inauthentic).

Anyway, I have *very selectively* kissed friends on the lips before. Even my grandmother and mom sometimes do this with me. But I know lots of people find it weird. But among artsy types, it’s definitely not a weird practice. The thing to keep in mind is that with Bellamy and Tony, this performative smooch is supposed to signal that Tony’s closeness is not just with one of his former screen partners. Everybody is partnered irl so it’s just a bit of fun. That’s what the audience is meant to take away.
