Dalton Flooring - Best Prices for Your Dream Home
Tumblr media
When it comes to upgrading your home, flooring can make one of the biggest impacts. Whether you're renovating a single room or doing a whole-house makeover, the right floors can elevate the look, feel, and functionality of your space. If you want to score great deals while shopping for flooring dalton ga, is the place to be. Known as the "Carpet Capital of the World," Dalton offers some of the best flooring options at prices that can’t be beat. Let’s dive into how you can get the best prices for the floors of your dreams.
Why Dalton Is the Best Place for Flooring
Dalton, GA, is not just a hub for carpet manufacturing—it's the epicenter of the flooring industry. More than 80% of all carpet in the United States is made here, and that’s just the beginning. Dalton is home to a wide variety of flooring options, from carpet and hardwood to laminate, vinyl, and tile. The city’s long history in the flooring industry means you get direct access to high-quality products at incredibly competitive prices.
I can personally vouch for Dalton's reputation as a flooring paradise. When I was remodeling my home a few years ago, I thought finding quality flooring within my budget would be a challenge. But after shopping around locally, I was amazed at how many options I had at prices much lower than expected. Dalton’s local suppliers made it easy to find the perfect flooring without breaking the bank.
Types of Flooring Available in Dalton
Dalton’s flooring offerings are as diverse as its flooring suppliers, meaning there's something for every style, need, and budget. Whether you’re looking for something durable, luxurious, or eco-friendly, Dalton has you covered. Here’s a breakdown of some of the most popular flooring options you can find at the best prices.
Carpet: Cozy and Cost-Effective
Dalton is best known for its carpets, and for good reason. With countless styles, textures, and colors available, you’ll easily find a carpet that suits your home perfectly. From plush, luxurious options for bedrooms to more durable, stain-resistant styles for high-traffic areas like living rooms and hallways, Dalton’s carpet manufacturers offer something for every need.
The best part? Dalton offers high-quality carpets at wholesale prices, meaning you get top-tier products without the hefty price tag. I chose a cozy, mid-grade carpet for my living room, and it has held up wonderfully to daily use. It looks fantastic and provides that soft underfoot feel without the luxury price tag.
Hardwood & Laminate: Elegant Yet Affordable
If you love the timeless look of hardwood but don’t want to spend a fortune, Dalton is the place to be. The city offers both real hardwood flooring and laminate options, giving you a wide range of choices.
Real hardwood can be expensive, but Dalton has affordable options in materials like oak, maple, and hickory, which can give you that classic look for less. If you’re on a tight budget, laminate is a fantastic alternative. It mimics the appearance of wood, stone, or tile and offers durability and low maintenance at a fraction of the cost.
I installed laminate in my dining room and couldn’t be happier with how it looks. It’s virtually indistinguishable from real wood, and it’s so easy to clean and maintain—ideal for a busy household.
Vinyl: Durable, Low-Maintenance, and Stylish
Vinyl flooring, especially luxury vinyl plank (LVP), has become incredibly popular due to its combination of affordability, durability, and ease of maintenance. If you’re looking for flooring that can withstand heavy foot traffic, moisture, and spills, vinyl is an excellent option. Plus, vinyl comes in a variety of styles, including options that mimic wood, stone, or even ceramic tile.
For my bathroom renovation, I chose vinyl flooring, and it has been a game-changer. It’s water-resistant, easy to clean, and still looks amazing after years of use. Plus, it was much more affordable than tile or stone alternatives.
Tile: Timeless and Practical
Tile is another great option, especially for kitchens, bathrooms, and entryways. Dalton’s tile selection includes ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone options in a wide range of colors and designs. Whether you’re looking for a sleek, modern look or a more rustic style, you’ll find something to suit your taste and needs.
Tile is known for its durability, water resistance, and low maintenance. If you’re considering installing tile, you’ll also be pleased to know that Dalton offers competitive pricing, even on high-end styles like porcelain and natural stone.
How to Get the Best Prices on Flooring in Dalton
Dalton’s flooring scene is packed with deals, but there are a few strategies you can use to make sure you’re getting the absolute best price on your new floors. Here’s how you can save even more:
1. Shop Directly from Local Manufacturers
One of the best ways to save money on flooring is by buying directly from Dalton’s manufacturers. Since the city is home to so many flooring producers, you can often find wholesale prices that cut out the middleman. Many local suppliers offer direct-to-consumer pricing that’s lower than what you’ll find in big-box stores.
2. Look for Sales and Promotions
Another great way to save money is by keeping an eye out for seasonal sales and promotions. Many Dalton flooring dealers offer discounts during peak sales periods, such as around holidays or during spring and fall clearance events. Signing up for email newsletters can help you stay informed about upcoming sales and special promotions.
3. Consider Installation Deals
Installation can sometimes be the most expensive part of a flooring project. However, many Dalton flooring suppliers offer free or discounted installation when you purchase your floors through them. If you’re not planning to install the floors yourself, be sure to ask about these deals before making a final decision.
4. Negotiate for Additional Discounts
Don’t be afraid to negotiate! Many Dalton flooring retailers are willing to offer additional discounts, especially if you’re purchasing in bulk or during a slow season. If you’re buying for multiple rooms or have a larger project in mind, ask if they can provide a better price or throw in extra perks like free delivery.
5. Take Advantage of Expert Advice
Dalton’s flooring professionals are some of the most knowledgeable in the industry. Many local dealers offer free consultations to help you choose the best flooring for your space and budget. They can also recommend cost-effective options that still offer the look and durability you want.
Why Dalton is the Right Choice for Your Flooring Needs
Dalton offers everything you need to make your dream home a reality—without stretching your budget. With a vast selection of flooring options, unbeatable prices, and expert advice, Dalton is the perfect place to shop for your next flooring project. Whether you’re after luxury carpet, durable laminate, stylish vinyl, or timeless tile, you’ll find great deals that will help you transform your space without sacrificing quality.

Biker Charlie Dalton - Limegrass . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁
Tumblr media
"Baby, no," Charlie chuckled, prying for your hands, "don't be like that."
"Don't be like what?" you spat, swatting his hand away. You were insistent on packing up.
It''s been two days since you've booked a room in this dingy gas station motel, with Charlie insisting it'll be 'just like Vegas, honey' and you ignorantly believing him. But thus far, the water turned off, the faucet creaked from rust, and the wallpaper dusted with asbestos. It was less of Vegas and more like Hell's Kitchen: insistent and fervent torture.
"Baby, no, really I'm sorry," he got up from the bed and sneaked behind you, his broad arms snaking to your waist. You could feel his lips ghosting kisses against your shoulders. You huffed petulantly and he tutted his tongue.
"I'm sorry, sorry, sorry," he mumbled between kisses. You averted your gaze outside the window, the pink sands of the Californian highway evident in all its glory.
"My girl should have the best, and what did she get?" he cooed, "a creaky bed and a grumpy mood. No, no."
You couldn't help but cross your arms and he noticed. Charlie spun you around slowly by the waist, squeezing your cheeks together to kiss your sweet pout away.
"You'll forgive me?" he asked, his brown eyes boring into yours. You went breathless at the sight of his lashes.
"I wanna go away, Charlie," your facade all but dissipated as you buried your face on his chest, grasping the fabric of his undershirt. He brushed your baby hairs back,
"I know," he kissed your forehead, "this afternoon, right at dusk. I'll ride us off to Hollywood, how's that?"
You draped your arms around his neck with the prettiest smile, and it incited a proud smirk on his face. He rubbed your back tenderly,
"Looks like a yes."
You kissed the smugness off his lips,
"Always a yes with you."

It is 240 pm in the afternoon and the sun is beneath the horizon and my marbles are on the loose as a result so let me tell you about the shitshow going down on the Dalton highway at this very moment.
The Dalton highway is a gorgeous strip of frozen dirt through the dead center of nowhere with no services for about 400 miles or so. The road runs up to the oil fields and generally doesn't see non commercial traffic because when I say there's nothing up there I mean that nothing has changed much since the last ice age. It is also, and this is important, December at the far extreme reaches of the northern hemisphere.
so. At mile six, first major hill of the way, there is a Canadian company with 3 oversized loads who have never run the road before. They were very confident. The road is closed because between the 3 of them and all the pilot trucks there is a single set of unbroken chains, and while I am sure they will preserve and dig themselves out of their shitshow, there is an unpleasant lesson being learned.
That said, the over confident Canadians are not the dumbest people on the road right now.
There is a group of tourists who have elected to drive up into the arms of the frozen north in the depths of winter. This is fine, its a bucket list thing, if you want to experience the true impress of the arctic from the comfort of a vehicle, running up the Dalton is the way to do it.
However.
The thing about electric vehicles is that, well, they're really not suited to extremely cold environments. The heater eats the battery and there's no combustion to generate heat in the first place. Batteries freeze. There's not even a gas station for 400 miles and it's further to a charging station. Its approximately the same issue Mark Watney had in The Martian except there is no sun and no option for solar power.
And there are some supremely ambitious tourists currently driving a little caravan of electric vehicles to the north slope. With the beginning of the road closed thanks to the overconfident Canadians, they won't be getting help for a while.
Supposedly they have a generator with them. Now, personally, for me, that's too many confounding factors in between me and the goal of not dying. The electricity powering the cars came from fossil fuels anyway, but it seems to me that carrying fuel with you to run the generator to power the car has an unnecessary step.
AFAIK there isnt any weather beyond the usual rolling in so these probably won't be fatal lessons to learn, just cold and uncomfortable ones. But also, people die like this all the time and there isn’t as if its anyone's job to stop people from committing to suicidally stupid road trips, there is no consequence that could be inflicted by a traffic cop that is worse than what will happen if you do fuck up doing the thing he told you not to.

- House of wax fanfic
Tumblr media
•Yet again, your hand was buried in your pocket. As if it would help with the sweating or the anxiety bubbling at the pit of your stomach. Of course it wouldn't. Beforehand, it was all confidence and elaborate planning, but upon approaching Ambrose from the forest, everything felt dizzy.
The humidity that day was unbearable, a thin layer of sweat coating the whole of your body. God knows how long the walk through the forest was because you didn't have a watch, next to nothing really. But risking Lester's car ride wouldn't be worth the risk. It all looked relatively the same as you remembered. The buildings all looked preserved with the past, which once thrived with life. The streets were silent as you approached the gas station. Just as you came closer, Bo appeared, walking up to the door to greet you on sight.
He casually stepped out with that familiar smile, laced with practiced southern charm. "How can I help you?" The sound of his voice made your heart clench and head thump, but you put on the act. Lost and alone, that's what was led on, and he took it. Guiding you into his gas station to sit down for a moment whilst he grabbed you a waterbottle. A gentleman. Something he was told countless times by various tourists, only serving to fuel his pride. Even made him a little cocky sometimes, and it showed.
Bo leans against the counter, eyes locked on you as half of the water was demolished in one long sip. The water was warm, but you definitely weren't going to turn down a drink. Not in this heat. You seem bizarrely familiar. He can't put his finger on it. Your face, voice it was at the back of his head. Something nagging at him. "Have we met before?" He enquiries after a few seconds just to get a shrug back. "No, don't think so." Bo frowns momentarily before dropping it. It doesn't matter anyway. you'll end up the same as they always do. A display. And he'll sleep in his bed, regardless if he's satisfied or not, either way he'll toss and turn to no appeal.
It was all a blur, a mess of an hour. Your hand shook, holding the needle before letting it shatter to the ground. Bo was clean out on the floor, but of course, he didn't give up without a scuffle before being knocked out. Caution led to nudging him twice in the side. Not particularly needed, but it was worth the sigh of relief. The dragging part was especially difficult, having to get him down those old steep steps. It was hard not to gag as you pushed open the door open, all of the memories hitting hard enough for a concussion. Only a couple of weeks ago, you were full of cheer and warmth with your friends camping out before you all planned to head off to the game in the morning. Tossing around beers and messing around with Daltons camera. They're all gone. Wade, Carly, Blake. Nothing but displays. You would've had the same fate if Bo hadn't slipped up, resulting in your escape into the forest. The final girl, left to rot in grief and that lingering fear. It always hung over your shoulder, becoming a harsh burden.
Slowly with a throaty groan, Bos eyes peeled open just to squeeze shut again. Upon going to move, he finds he can't. His wrists are bound too tightly down as well as his ankles. It was duct tape, and the gurneys restrained keeping him in place. Bo forces his eyes to concentrate, face lightly scrunched up as you came into focus. You were greeted less casually this time around as expected, met with a string of curses and quick anger. It was ironic in a way, seeing him bound and restricted to the same gurney he had put so many others before. Including Carly. The thought brought a dry chuckle to you. Forced and humourless.

MACIE (Florence Pugh)

Tumblr media
This guy's eyes refuse to leave yours.
"Uh, sir?" You say awkwardly, trying to reach behind him for the bread.
He coughs and then smiles, chuckling awkwardly. "Sorry! I'm Quil!" He greets.
Hey, he's cute. Weird a stranger is greeting you, but you let this one pass.
"Y/n." You smile.
"Hey, I didn't know which bacon you wanted, so I got the hickory smoked." Your cousin, Dalton walks to you.
Quil moves his gaze, shifting his feet.
"Yeah, that's fine. Nice to meet you, Quil!" You wave.
Dalton smiles at him, and you two walk away. After you guys check out and get in your car, Dalton looks at you with an eyebrow raised. "Well, wasn't he a cutie." He smirks.
"Ayo, back off." You laugh. "I didn't even get his number or anything." You frown.
----
Quil slumps down on his couch. His arms are crossed and sighs. Embry pauses the game on the controller and looks at him.
"What's up with you?" He asks.
"I imprinted on a girl at the store."
"Good news, buddy!" Embry pats his knee.
"UGH, No. After I introduced myself, her boyfriend came up beside her.
Embry hisses and then sits back on the couch. They sit in silence for just a moment. "Hey, I mean, you imprinted. She's gonna come back. She will fall for you. That's if she hasn't already." Embry bumps his knee on Quil's.
Quil just shrugs and then sits up, grabbing a controller. "C'mon. Let's just play the game."
-----
Life is already easier since moving in with your cousins in their house. You're helping pay rent, and you're grown away from your family and old life.
Right now, you and Dalton are playing Jenga while Macie cooks in the kitchen. You offered to help but she gave you the stink eye, lol.
"You guys forgot the Mac n cheese!" Macie calls out.
"Marcie, you go!" Dalton hollars back to her.
All of the yelling made you bump your fingers in the jenga tower, making everything fall.
"Really?!" You groan.
"I'm over this. Want to go finish decorating your room?" He smiles at you.
"Yes!" You jump up. Before you make it into the room, something hits your back. You turn and see your car keys on the floor.
"Go get that Mac n cheese, girl." Macie snorts.
-------
"Well, what if we go for a drive?" Embry asks Quil.
"Can I listen to sad love songs?" Quil asks.
"Ya know what, if that'll make you feel better." Embry replies.
The two guys get in Quil's truck. The gas light turns on. "Bro, I need gas." Quil groans.
"Just go to the gas station. I'll get snacks you get the gas." Embry buckles up.
-----
Dalton runs outside of the gas station with coke and peanuts. You stare at him, squinting in confusion and keep pumping the gas.
"Dude, what?" You laugh.
"I saw this old lady on tiktok from Texas talk about this combo. I'm finna try it." He laughs, getting inside the car.
A truck pulls up at the pump next to you.
Two guys step out and you notice the driver is Quil!!!
"Quil!" You call out and wave.
He perks up and smiles at you. He walks over to you. The other guy follows and awkwardly looks at you. "Funny seeing you here!" Quil says.
"I know! How weird! Hey!" You wave at the other guy.
"Oh! That's Embry. He's a good friend." Quil smiles.
"I'm y/n!" You smile. "Anywho, Quil! If we are going to keep bumping into each other, I need your snap, or insta, or number." You laugh, pulling out your phone.
Dalton opens the door and steps out, waving at Quil. "Aye! It's that store guy!" He laughs.
Quil shakes his head at him, waving. He looks down and grabs your phone. "I don't have social media but I've got a number." He smiles.
Embry grabs Quil's shoulder. "I'm going inside." He says, walking away.
He hands your phone back to you. When you grab it, your fingers touch. You feel a spike of tingles run through your hand. Your fingers stay there and your eyes slowly look up to see Quil looking at you.
"I- yeah! I'll be texting you. Thank you!"
Dalton opens the door again, leaning out. "Alright, let the guy go, love. We have shit to do." He says while laughing.
You wave Quil bye and get in the seat, breathing out.
"I take it. You got his number?" Dalton asks, shoving a handful of peanuts in his mouth.
You nod your head quickly with a smile.
"You got rizz."
-----
Quil: is it weird that I'm coming over when you're alone?
You: no! It's all good.
You put the last dish in the dishwasher and sit on the couch, waiting for Quil.
Your cousins are at work and you thought it was a good time to invite Quil! Obviously, you asked them, and they were good with it. Especially, Dalton! He's hyping you up.
After waiting a bit, Quil comes over, and you sit him on the couch. He seems awkward and tense. You're beginning to wonder if he even wanted to come over. What if he doesn't want to be around you?
"So, Embry seems cool. How many friends do you have?" You ask, smiling.
He rubs his hands on his jeans on his knees, shifting a bit. "There's Jacob, Paul, Sam, Jared, and Embry. We're really tight. Always together." He chuckles.
"Oh! Awesome! Have you always lived on reservation?"
"Yup! We all have."
"Nice!"
-----
Quil in wolf form walk up to the rest of the pack in the woods.
"How'd it go?" Paul asks.
Quil growls and huffs. "It was weird! The whole time I was there I just kept thinking about her boyfriend."
"Kind of weird, she had you over there alone." Jared says.
"Why can't my imprint story be so easy?!" Quil whines.
"Mine wasn't." Sam chuckles.
-----
Dalton plops on your bed. "How'd it go, babe?" He asks.
"Not good. He was awkward. He didn't seem interested." You sigh.
Dalton rubs your back. "Girl, he's probably just nervous!"
"Doubt it. I offered food and everything. All he did was sit there and answer questions I asked. He didn't even want to stay long."
Dalton hisses and pulls his hand back. "Yikes..."
"Yeah, I know."
"Macie's good at this stuff. Let me go get her." He takes a deep breath in, "MACIE!"
His scream startled you. You thought he was going to get up and get her.
She runs inside, sitting next to you guys. "What's up?"
"Bitch, explain." Dalton tells you.
You repeat what you had said to Dalton, and Macie thinks for a moment.
"Maybe, just maybe, he doesn't think you like him. Maybe he thinks you're playing with him." She shrugs.
You consider what she is saying and Dalton is nodding.
"Valid." Dalton says.
-----
It's been a week since Quil came over. You guys have been texting, but you have to text first.
You: Quil!!!! Do you want to come over?
Quil: I can.
You sit back and wait. You can't sleep, and your cousins are passed out in their rooms. There's so much going through your mind.
You grab a think blanket and put on your house shoes. You step outside on the porch, not wanting to wake up your cousins.
You need to talk to Quil about how you feel and what's going on. You saw how he looked at you in the store. There's no denying that.
You see Quil, shirtless, walking onto your steps. The porch light is on. It's a hint of green.
"You okay?" He asks.
You pat the chair next to you. He sits down.
"Quil.. do you like me?" You sigh, closing your eyes.
"W-what? Can I even answer that?" He asks.
"What? Yes?" You look at him.
His eyes scan you. "I do." He sighs, covering his face.
"Do you want to go on a date? Maybe it'll help you feel more comfortable around me."
He looks up from his hands, and his eyebrows are furrowed. "So, you're gonna cheat on your boyfriend?!" He gestures to the door.
"Huh?" You have the biggest look of confusion.
"The guy you were with at the store and the gas station." He says, looking down.
You start giggling when you realize what's been going on. "Quil!" You slightly shove his shoulder.
"That's my cousin, Dalton. And his sister lives here too. Her name is Macie." You start laughing.
He leans back and chuckles at himself. "Maybe I should've asked instead of assuming. I feel embarrassed now." He laughs.
The door opens, and Dalton walks out with his comforter around him. He's Yawning and looks half asleep. "What's all that laughing?" He asks. When he realizes Quil is there, his eyes widen. "Oop! My bad!" He winks. "Have fun, girls." He walks back inside.
You and Quil burst into laughter. His hand touches your arm, and you look at him. You lean over and kiss his cheek. He instantly blushes and looks down.
"So, date?" He looks back at you with the cutest smile.
