Why do you guys blame Cherry and Darry for the events of the book? (Y'all especially do this to Cherry)

Cherry was literally getting harassed by Dally, then Johnny killed her boyfriend, (even though he had it coming) and then Two-Bit had to stop some of the greasers from jumping her when she offered to be a spy. Honestly, I don't even care about Cherry that much myself, but it's not like she went out of her way to hurt anyone. (And who can blame her for not wanting to see the guy who killed her boyfriend? Besides, who's to say that Johnny wanted to see her anyway?)

And I don't like it when people blame Darry for what happened. (Ik some people blame Pony too, which I also don't like, but I've seen people blame Darry more) Darry was 20 years old. And taking care of his 16- and 14-year-old brothers after both of their parents died. AT THE SAME TIME. Darry wasn't perfect, but neither were any of the characters. That's what most people like about them. And really, if you want to play the blame game, blame Bob and the other guys for jumping Pony and Johnny, or blame Dally for flirting with Cherry in the first place. (Nobody seems to do the latter option)

Okay so I got sucked back into the Outsiders fandom, and I got bored, so I decided to edit Matt Dillion to look more like his character from The Outsiders.

In the book, Ponyboy describes Dally as having an elfish face, high cheekbones, a pointed chin, sharp teeth, blue eyes, and long, white hair.

So here’s the original :

So, when he was 10 he was jailed, he knew the gang previously (Minus Pony bc I don't think he was born yet) and Ponyboy's parents were alive and all that, so like after Dally was jailed, about a year after he decided to join the army, so he told everyone that he was going to join the army, when he did he stayed in the army for around 2-3 years, before quitting, when he came back he re-met with everyone, but he was only nice to Johnny because of something that happened while he was in the army to where he lost 90% of his memories (Basically they're just blurred) and the only ones he truly remembers are the memories with Johnny, and the reason why he's so cold and shit isn't because he was jailed, it's because of him going to the army and losing his memories, he also eventually does get his memories back, and he slightly goes back to how he was before joining the army

That's basically how I think he got his Dog tag, and how he got so cold and tough

(Edit: The change was in the title from 'Lore' to 'Head cannon' I realized my mistake cause a friend pointed it out, sorry bout' that)

I can never put a face on dallas……. like i love matt and joshua and their portrayals of him so much but my mind only wants to see something like his book description….. I can’t even think of another person to try face matching on him what the hell 😭😭😭 this is crazy….

its so crazy to me because ive tried to put book dally into my mind when I'm reading but I just see movie/matt dillon dally ?! and when I'm reading the script/book I see joshua too ?? 😭😭 like what about the actual dally ?? 😭💀💀 there's lots of people who've drawn their own ideas of how they think dally would look based on the book, but i don't have my own picture of him 😭

its crazy to think that s.e hinton said (idk when she said it 💀😭), that the most "attractive" characters were supposed to only be the curtis brothers ⁉️

but then why do they cast such good (and very much attractive😭😭🙏) actors for everyone ?? not complaining tho, love them all to pieces 🙂‍↕️✨️
