Update on untitled goblin game
Inventories are hell. I have basically no idea what I'm doing. And I don't trust arrays and resources because my brain is not built for them.
For now it's working, but there's so much I need to figure out before expanding into crafting, gathering etc.
I decided to do something else and set up version control. Now I feel like I just discovered a lovecraftian horror and the experience is burned into my soul, slowly affecting me with it's tenebrous state of devouring my innermost knowledge.
Oh and the other day I rearranged my project folder and broke all animations. ALL. Redid them in the same animationplayer, fiddled with the animationtree, deleted both nodes and created them new. Redid all animations again. But now everythings neat and tidy and I'll never touch it again.

Irredeamable is out!

Trailer Music: Destiny by Alexandr Zhelanov https://www.youtube.com/c/AlexandrZhelanovsMusic
Play Irredeamable on Gamejolt here! Or play it on Itch.io Here!
About Irredeamable
Irredeamable is my latest project, a semi-linear action-adventure game, where you control this little bundle of anger and angst in her quest to recover her lost powers and bring forth the end of the world.
Join Irredeamable Gamejolt community here! Follow me on twitter here!
The game has a heavy emphasis on combat, with a bit of platforming, and a whole lot of boss fights. There is also some mysterious lore to be uncovered by those willing to brave the world's deepest, darkest depths. My main goal with this account is to spread awareness of the game as i work on it. I'll post threads about the game content, characters, and world, with occasional distractions such as my unhinged game design thoughts and ideas. Don`t hesitate to share thoughts and engage, i love nothing more than to talk about writing and game design.

Buggane Facts
The Buggane is a terrifying creature from Manx folklore, often depicted as a large, hairy, goblin-like monster. It features prominently in Hungry Horrors and offers unique challenges to players.
Key Facts:
1. Origin: The Buggane hails from the Isle of Man and is said to haunt caves, ancient ruins, and even old churches. These creatures are associated with destruction and mischief, often targeting buildings or individuals who disturb them.
2. Appearance: Typically described as a towering, ogre-like figure with long, matted hair, sharp teeth, and claws, the Buggane is known for its fearsome strength. In some tales, it is said to have magical powers, allowing it to grow or shrink in size at will.
3. Behavior in Folklore: Bugganes are vengeful and destructive creatures. One famous tale tells of a Buggane tearing the roof off a church because the builders continued to work after sunset, violating a local taboo.
4. Role in Hungry Horrors: In Hungry Horrors, the Buggane’s special ability is Tremor, where it jumps, causing the princess to become dizzy and confused. It’s a dangerous foe that can disorient players, making it hard to prepare food or fight back.
5. Habitat: Like in its folkloric origins, the Buggane in Hungry Horrors resides in dark, damp caves. Its cavernous home reflects its origins from ancient legends where Bugganes are known to lurk in secluded, forgotten places.

Knucker vs Princess
Scene from our indie game Hugry Horrors
Wishlist on Steam
Knucker Facts
The Knucker is a legendary water dragon from English folklore, particularly associated with Sussex. This creature is said to dwell in deep, water-filled holes known as “Knuckerholes,” the most famous of which is located near the town of Lyminster.
Key Facts:
1. Origin: The term “Knucker” comes from the Old English word “nicor,” which means water monster. These creatures were often believed to inhabit watery areas like rivers, ponds, or wells.
2. Appearance: Descriptions of the Knucker vary, but it is typically depicted as a large, serpent-like dragon. Some stories describe it with a long body, sharp claws, and huge wings, though it may also be portrayed without wings in some versions.
3. Behavior: Knuckers are notorious for terrorizing local villagers by stealing livestock, destroying crops, and sometimes even demanding sacrifices of young maidens (classic dragon behavior, of course). They were often portrayed as both cunning and dangerous.
4. Legend of Lyminster: One of the most famous tales involving the Knucker is from the town of Lyminster. According to legend, the dragon terrorized the town until a local hero, Jim Puttock (or sometimes a knight), defeated the creature by offering it a poisoned pie. After eating the pie, the Knucker supposedly died, saving the town from its wrath.
5. Knuckerholes: These mysterious, deep, water-filled holes are still a source of curiosity. The best-known Knuckerhole is in Lyminster, but others are said to exist across Sussex. These areas were often regarded as dangerous and mysterious places.
6. Cultural Impact: Although the Knucker is not as widely known as other mythological creatures like the Wyvern or the Lindworm, it remains an integral part of Sussex folklore. Various local tales, art, and even pub names (such as “The Six Bells” in Lyminster) keep the legend alive.
