Dallas Winston bf headcanon

 This is my first time writing anything fanfic/headcanon related so please don’t expect much from this!! (Although I would accept constructive criticism)I am not that experienced with writing so bare with me.

 Other than that I think I fell absolutely in LOVE with Dallas Winston. I recently watched the movie and I just love the danger that Dallas carries around with him(that might just be my wattpad self). The title is pretty self explanatory; this will be about how you’ll be living if you were with Dally...if you were a soc. I know, I know it is most likely that he would date a greaser but just “imagine”. Also this is set in its original time period.

Dallas Winston as your boyfriend

he was oblivious of you at first because you were a soc

most of your dates are at the drive in(always sneak in) or the diner

he likes to call you “doll”

you are best friends with Johnny because you spend a lot of time with him and Dallas

you and Johnny are so close to the point that he sleeps on your lap sometimes

Dally low-key gets jealous of Johnny

Dally gets jealous easily in general he’s also obsessed with you but wont show it

he sometimes attends school because of you

but he always comes to pick you up from school

of course you don’t tell your parents about him because they wouldn’t approve

he instantly smiles when he sees you 

he likes to put his hand in your back pocket or waist at all times

he feels the need to protect you

many people don’t mess around with you anymore because they know that you’re with Dally

Dally likes it when you soothe his stomach with your hands when you’re cuddling

he always has his arm around you in bed and won’t let you leave

the next morning he whines when you try to leave his touch(Dally’s defo not a morning person)

the gang makes fun of you guys for dating

Dally will fully listen to what you have to say during deep conversations

since he’s aggressive he sometimes takes it too far and makes you angry and sad

he always tries to make up tho

whenever he gets locked up in the cooler he gives you one of his belongings to keep you safe(st.christopher necklace, leather jacket, pocket knife etc.)

but when he gets out he’s so excited to see you

Just saw someone tag it with Dally is angry, but he's just a little grumpy, it took him three tries to find the right exit and his head was stuck in a sleeve for 5 minutes. Johnny didn't help, he laughed until Dally made it out and now he pretends he didn't laugh at all. (headcanon out : D <3)

So starting off, your the youngest, by a few months,

Yet your brothers are still protective of you,

Just like ponyboy, you cant go out without someone with you,

You mainly go with two-bit or Johnny since their both less over-protective,

Speaking of over-protective, Darry is the worse with it,

At first you found it nice, but then it got annoying:

" Where are you going?" " The bathroom Darry! the bloody bathroom!"

Eventually it got worse:

You snapped when Darry tried to stop you from hanging out with a friend- in daylight,

After yelling at each other for five minutes, Darry apologized and became less over-protective.

Soda wasn't over-protective, but did worry at times.

Especially when you had a fight with a friend.

He tried to get you two to make up.

But after seeing that neither of you wanted to, he gave up and comforted you instead.

At some points he even convinced Darry to be less over-protective of you and ponyboy.

He also gave you lots of sibling hugs.

Or even cuddles while watching tv ( in a non weird way).

And if your ever being bullied, you know that he's throwing punches.

And then there's your partner in crime, ponyboy,

You two are two peas in a pod,

You both like books, seeing movies and you both hate how protective Darry is,

At one point you found a loop hole to it,

" Y/N, Darry said that we had to be with someone when going outside right?" " yeah.." " what if.. we went with eachother because technically we are with someone" ".. OH MY GOD YOU GENIUS"

And Darry, couldn't argue with that

" Guys, that doesn't count-" " But you said with someone Darry" " yeah, are you saying me and ponyboy are nobodies?" " no I didn't- never mind."

You both liked hanging out with dally and Johnny, though you found two-bit to be your best friend.

If he wasn't busy, he'd always go with you.

Or say he was with you and let you go off and do your own thin

But the best part?

You hung around with the gang

And when boys or socs tried to annoy you- oh boy was it nasty

" what did you say to her?!" " Get him!" " there's the police!" " I don't care Johnny!" " get em dally!"

Now here was the annoying part: rumbles,

Darry, soda, Johnny and Steve didn't want you to go,

But- two-bit ,ponyboy, and Dally did,

So guess what trio snuck you into one,

And guess who got a blood noise and a bruised stomach?

You- the four of you also got yelled at by Darry,

but at the end he said " but- got Y/N you can kick ass",

so you were allowed to go more- well the three snuck you in and Darry didn't argue, only tried to talk you out of it.

At the end of the day, your brothers may annoy you sometimes, but man, you wouldn't ask for a better family.

A/N: I really loved writing this!! Relationships, where it’s a sensitive, innocent person with a closed-off, seemingly emotionless person, are my favorites. Tell me if you want a part two!

Listen, no matter what anyone tells you, I can hold up my own! Even if my brothers say I’m too sensitive and overly-passionate or even if my friends say I make too big of a deal out of things, I’m still tough. I mean, I have to be to make it in this family and neighborhood somehow, right? Okay, but anyway, I absolutely despise it when people tease me about being weak. I’m not weak. Shit, I’m probably the least weak out of the whole gang.

I use the term “gang” lightly. I guess I’m not technically in the gang but like, let’s be real, I’m in the gang. I hang out with all of them just as much as my brothers do. I suppose girls don’t get as recognized. You know, it really makes me angry that- “Y/N, help with groceries!” Darry shouts from outside.  “Okay!” You shout back. You trudge your way over to the car trunk and to grab two gallons of milk. As you reach down to grab one, you see two hands grab and get the last two gallons for you. By the bloody knuckles, you know who it is. “Thanks, Dally,” I say without looking back. “My pleasure, doll,” I look back and he gives me that stupid smirk. I can’t help but smile a little. 

“Okay, I mean thanks, Paul Newman. Since when did you get so...” I tried to find the word. “Chivalrous or whatever?” “Chivalrous?” Dally smiles back, “I’m flattered, doll,” I laugh. “Shut up and give me that,” I grab a gallon of milk from his hand and walk in front of him. “I think I can handle it,” I yell back holding the milk carton high in the air. 

“Okay, but real talk, I’m gonna need a favor from you today,” Dally says to me, in his normal nonchalant tone. “This son-of-a-bitch pickpocketed 20 bucks from me last night. I can feel it,” “You can feel it? So you don’t know for sure or-” “Trust me, kid, I know it. Probably. Either way, could you distract him while I get my 20 bucks back plus 20 extra for the trouble? He works at the Dairy Queen and always has his wallet in his back pocket-” “You know that how?” “Can you stop asking all these god-damn questions? Real nerd of a kid so you know, put on a tight shirt, some makeup, flirt a little bit and we should be fine,” 

My stomach drops a little, I can’t help it. I force my stomach to shut the hell up and stop being such a little bitch and I continue on with the conversation. “So you want me to flirt with someone?” SHUT UP Y/N! Him wanting you to flirt with someone in order for him to con them literally means nothing. And why the hell do you care? It’s not like you want him to like you! SHUT UP! “Yeah, no big deal. Just as a distraction,” Dally answers, shrugging his shoulders. ‘Okay, okay. Okay,” I say, having a feeling I said ‘okay’ one too many times.

It’s probably been an hour since I’ve talked to Dallas and I find myself rereading the columns of my favorite magazine. Is there any chance, at all, he would like me? And even if he did, and confessed his love for me or whatever would I reject him? Hell, would Darry even let anything happen? Whatever, it doesn’t even matter ‘cause I don’t like him. Whatever, it’s whatever. I see someone come down the stairs and don’t think much of it. But then I see Dally’s head peak out and of course, my bitch of a stomach drops again. It’s nothing, no big deal.

“Hey, you know where Sodapop is?” He casually asks. “Nope,” I answer, not making eye contact. “Eh, then I guess you’ll do,” He starts walking down and ends ups sitting right next to you. “Whatcha reading?” He says in a mocking girl voice. “You are so fucking weird today, holy shit. It’s nice seeing you happy once in a blue moon, ya know,” “Yeah, well, don’t get used to it. Just picturing that 40 dollars in my wallet is enough to get me in a good mood. And anything to make fun of you, also. The fuck you reading about, anyway? Who cares about this shit?” Ah, there old Dallas was. “I happen to care very much about Doris Day, thank you very much,” Dallas sarcastically gasps, “Doris Day! Holy shit!” He steals the magazine from my hands and gets up and walks away with it.

“Give that back, I swear to God!” You yell trying to get the magazine back from him. He keeps dodging me and says stupid shit like, “Well, if you find this so fascinating, I’m sure I will too!” “Shut up!” I laugh. Finally, I snatch it from his hands and end up banging my back against the wall. “Got it,” I wave in front of him. He puts his hands against the wall, one hand on my right side, one hand on my left. He keeps leaning closer. Oh nooooo, I’ve seen this too many times before. Is he going to make a move? Or is he being playful? Would he use tongue? Why am I even thinking about tongues? He isn’t even going to kiss me! Focus, Y/N. “It seems I got you cornered, so hand over the magazine, doll,” He puts emphasis on the word doll and gives me that Dallas Winston smirk. Haha, not gonna work on me, old pal! “Or what?” Okay. I guess it did because that was the most cliche shit I’ve ever said. You know- SHIT, HE IS LEANING IN. NOW WE ARE KISSING. BE IN THE MOMENT Y/N. 

But I can’t! Dallas Winston is kissing me and me, Y/N Curtis is kissing him back and by now, I’ve dropped the useless magazine. Okay. Okay. This is good. This is fine. His hands are now on my hips and I’m fine. Hell, more than fine. I’m fucking making out with Dallas Winston! “Dallas!” Sodapop yells down, making me flinch back and hit my head against the wall, making a fool out of myself. He laughs and puts his hand on the back of my head. “The hell do you want?” He yells back, totally changing tones and taking his hand off my head, “You were looking for me, I thought!” “Oh,” Dallas says, smiling right at you. “Oh yeah,” He winks at you and just runs upstairs. Just like that. He is a madman. Absolute madman.
