The Fentonworks Mega-Lab.
So! AU where the Fentonworks Labs actually stretch Miles upon Miles below the City of Amity Park.
It started when the Fentons wanted to add a simple addition to the original Lab when they ran out of space to store their more dangerous weapons. They didn't want their (at the time) young children getting their hands on their experimental Weaponry, it could blow up in their faces!
So they built a different Wing of the Lab to hold all those Inventions.
Then they ran out of space and added a few extra Storage Rooms. But then they decided it was a hassle to have to carefully transport their Dangerous Inventions all the way to the Storage Rooms, and built a Lab specifically for Dangerous Experiments near that same Section. Then that Lab was occupied for a while, and Jack wanted to start a different experiment as well, so they built a few more.
In the end they just never stopped building onto their Labs.
There are sections of the Mega-Lab that are entirely walled off because a few of their more unstable Experiments contaminated the area. Walking into them was not recommended, else you could walk out with an extra eye or 5.
In other sections, their Captured Ghosts had taken over a few Labs and created a sort of Mad Max style civilization using their discarded weapons and vehicles.
In another, all Ghosts became Humans and all Humans became Ghosts. That was a weird one, to this day they still didn't understand how they pulled that off.
In another, some type of Eldritch Time Ghost had been born, and now sort of always existed and never existed, and began experimenting with its powers. They nicknamed it Clocky because it liked to carry around a stopwatch.
And so many more. At one point a failed Portal Experiment messed with the internal Space of the entire thing. Now there was literally no way of Mapping it. The Fentons still somehow managed to navigate it perfectly.
When Jazz and Danny grew up, they too learned how to navigate the Labs, which is how Danny managed to show his friends the Portal Experimentation Wing in the first place.
Unfortunately, it wasn't safe for anyone aside from the Fentons to enter the Mega-Labs, so one day when the Fenton Family+friends left town on a Week Long Camping/Road Trip, they put up a few Ghost Shields to keep both Humans out and the Ghosts in.
This drew some unwanted attention after some tourists saw the giant Glowng Green Building in the middle of an Illinois Town, and rightfully called the Justice League.
Now, the Justice League had tried to call the owners of the house, but nobody picked up the phone. (An incident with Jack and a Canoe had knocked most of their phones into the lake. They weren't even at the lake yet.)
When nobody picked up, they decided to investigate personally.
After getting into the House, they quickly found a door labeled "Labs: Do Not Enter (unless it we are late for Dinner)" and went into ignoring all the warnings.
They quickly regretted it.

One thing I don't see talked about often enough in DP Crossovers is the fact that Vlad has been supervillaining for awhile already by the time he met Danny. Like, if DP and DC shared a universe the whole time, he'd absolutely have had run ins with other heroes by now.
Vlad Masters inexplicable got super rich and bought out a bunch of companies for dirt cheap not long after recovering from a mysterious lab accident. He'd get pegged as a supervillain in five seconds as soon as any hero looked into him. Given his unique resources, he'd likely be a known threat and legion of doom member before he even met Danny.
I wonder how most of the superhero and supervillain community would react to seeing Vlad pull out his most monsterous behavior and destructive plots to spite a relatively young teen hero who showed up a year ago at max. I mean, cloning and human experimentation, unleashing gods of evil on the world (twice), rigging local elections to turn the town into his personal fiefdom, setting million dollar bounties on children, leaving someone to be burned alive by Salem witch hunters, etc. Against other foes, Vlad is a pretty typical cocky supervillain, but when Jack and Danny are involved he can reach Reverse Flash levels of petty.
I don't subscribe to the idea that ghosts would be unbeatable god-like beings in DC (if you don't think Superman can bare handed punch a ghost, you don't know much about Superman), but Vald's definitely capable of being a mid-high tier threat when he wants to. He and Lex definitely trade kryptonite and ecto weapons behind closed doors. I want to see the looks of horror (or, worse, begrudging respect) that Vlad's co-workers at the Legion give him when they see how overboard he's willing to go against this one specific up and coming teenager.

Hi everyone! So I been thinking hard on a rather unique 3way crossover that I been considering about writing. Please feel free to give me your input.
The 3 way crossover consist of DC x DP x Halo Infinite. With the ships being Jason and Danny (Obviously). Master Chief and Bruce as the second ship to be included. And Tim Simping for Katrina. (Cortana 2.0 from Infinite)
I see these possible dynamics being cute as Chief will learn how to be human, and how to love. Him and Team Phantom Finding Family. Also I don't mean the bull Chief pulled in the god awful Halo TV Show!
Bruce will learn that killing isn't an act of God. It isn't you kill once, and become a mindless murderer. That there is a difference, between a Soldier doing his duty to protect humanity and his loved ones. And a mindless killer, enjoying the horror of its victims as the bleed out with please for mercy. Effectively stealing their innocent lives... Oh also learn to not be as emotionally constipated after Katrina effectively out smarts him into a therapy session with Jazz Nightingale. (Last name changed after she saved Danny from the their parents lab…)
Danny will learn what it means to be apart of a family. And how screwed the GIW are.~
Jason, finds out he’s ghost pregnant and a heavy underdeveloped Halfa. All while the Pit becomes a full ghost that he ends up birthing. Which is gonna be a Dinosaur that will be Jason’s “Nightmare.” To his Fright Knight. (I am really wanting to go for Altispinax, or Spinax Vivosaur from Fossil Fighters series. But idk, might just use the Giga from Jurassic World Dominion. Just to change it up from what I seen people have the Pits become.
How Chief comes into the story however, would be introduced via Clockwork leaving a very obviously placed Halo Infinite Xbox Game case with a unmarked disc inside it. In an Alley Danny was taking refuge in. With a sticky note of course. And a few chapters in, when he was alone in Wayne Manor decided to play the game. And by Play. I mean go ghost and jump into the game. But of course. With his Fabulous Phantom Luck (trademark pending.) A new power began to make itself known as the code latched on him on his way out. Bringing Master Chief and Katrina to life in the real world, with all his memories and Katrina with the entire UNSC Database.)
While that’s how I plan to bring in Chief and Co. the main gist of this will be an all out battle, to destroy the GIW. Outlaws, Sirens, Chief and the entire Batfam Team up.
Despite the JL repealing the Anti Ecto Acts. A few Private donors continue to find them to get their hands on Ectoplasm. The League of Assassin’s, Lex Luthor. And of Course Vlad Masters will be the main villains connected to the GIW.
I can see Jason and Chief getting along like wildfire. And when Bruce finds out Jason is one leading the squad his kids, trying to get them to go on a date with Master Chief. It leads to some funny moments I would think. And of course can’t forget Chief reluctantly surprise appearance in Civies at one of Bruce’s Gala’s. (I kinda wanna make him wear Olive Green suit and dress pants. Black Bow Tie with a white under suit. Black belt. And an Olive Green Military Cap to hide his Neural Implant. Maybe having all his Medals from the service pinned to his chest. At least the ones that match ones in this universe. So not all of them obviously.
And Jason would absolutely catch his father freeze up when he sees the handsome Spartan.
For looks regarding Chief’s face since we don’t know what he looks like. I was thinking Caucasian Male, short brown hair that could be the right height to spike it up at least. Not a complete buzz cut. Rather bright blue eyes. That do not glow like Danny’s. But at least around that color. Of course he will have some scars on his left Temple, his lip and across his right eye. Freckles too. His muscle mass would of course be a bit more built then Jason. Which says something. But, you know. Super Soldier and all. (Update: I did in-fact Draw it ^^. If you want to see. Let me know if you wanna see Master Chief in a suit at the Gala ^^)
The Ages I was gonna go for was as follows.
Alfred: Immortal (Thanks Clockwork!)
John (Master Chief): 46yrs (I know it’s not his cannon Age. But it’s what I want for the story.)
Bruce: 45yrs
Barbara: 29yrs
Dick: 26yrs
Jazz: 21yrs
Jason: 21yrs
Cass: 20yrs
Sam: 20yrs
Danny: 19yrs
Duke: 19yrs
Steph: 19yrs
Tucker: 19yrs
Val: 19yrs
Tim: 18yrs
Ellie: 14yrs
Damien: 12yrs
Katrina: 6 months old
And that’s the little Fanfic I been thinking about. Of course it’s just an idea. but I think it would be fun to write.

When you first came up with the idea for the OPN did you have a through story in mind? I love the in universe Q&A with added bits of world building and events. I'm just curious what your plan was vs where we are now?
To the world building side, is the OPN one central physical site with satellite locations? In my head it's laid out a bit like a college campus with different departments having their own spaces.
Thank you so much for creating something so fun.
For the first question, I touched on it a little earlier, but I’ll add that the big “storyline” I had intended the players in the OPN TTRPG to unravel is more or less intact as the backstory to the blog. (LA, etc.) there was a big change suggested by my co-writer, Jenny’s writer, but after I developed more of my old ideas that plot migrated pretty early on.
There’s dozens of locations throughout the United States, but many of them are just one small office with what amounts to social workers and a few O-Sec staff, in order to help local extranormal folks with resources or guidance. There’s fewer bigger locations, probably about a dozen in major cities, and the biggest is the DC location, where Norm’s office is and a lot of the story stuff takes place. That site is, yeah, a bit like a campus. DC doesn’t have everything, they don’t have a Parafiction department for example, but it has a lot of different labs and offices. Norm’s is down the hall from Holistic Theology. There’s also a few locations that are strictly scientific or industrial - we’ll learn about the latter in an interview soon.
Thank you so much for reading and supporting <3

I really loved the title of the latest episode, so without further ado let's dive into science and fiction of the TVA. This is all so interesting.
The Loom exploded, apparently annihilating a bunch of timelines that were going through it. And after that went to a fail safe mode, restored and continued to weave like before: see the spinning input ring:
The same ring was moving slow in s2e1:
and completely stuck before the meltdown in s2e4:
Its explosion reset people at the TVA to respective branched timelines. I'm not sure 'the nexus event' is even a thing anymore, but Loki appearing to every one of them could be considered a nexus event if they existed on the Sacred timeline
Quick note before I forget. Time doors and time cubes are of the same nature. I guess if you were somehow to be stuck inside a time door you'd be squished. Another interesting duality of how to use the same tech: to traverse spacetime or to torture and violently kill.
Time cubes are old and have scratchy look, just like the first timedoors OB managed to open. Modern time doors look polished. Probably the old tech was repurposed into torturing devices by Miss Minutes someone else.
AC/DC AD/OB's 'lab':
Is this room safe? For the wormhole or the quantum...? This hole area is totally abandoned. No one's around for miles
OB, area being abandoned doesn't mean it's safe for any wormholes, especially for any people near it. Not even sure about whatever quantum stuff is going on.
But the building isn't random, the room is the same, just repainted. There's even the same chequered pattern on the floor though really faded. Is the TVA on Earth in a time bubble? The Loom has to be on the same level as R&A, so the TVA founders would expand around that abandoned building.
Which would mean that the infinite city around the TVA is an illusion. Or a side effect of the TVA being in some sort of a time bubble.
The question remains of how the Loom fits in with all of it. We've seen it exist suspended in, again, a seemingly infinite space. Let's say, its very construction can attract and visualise the raw time-matter (I'm still in denial of time being a matter, no matter how much I sciencefiction it in my head). When you look closely you see that timeline threads take shape the closer they are to the input ring of the Loom. But where do the weaved output timelines go? Do they go around, surrounding the TVA in a circle? And then inevitably branch, become formless and chaotic and have to be weaved back again?
Let's imagine that the TVA sits in the centre of time which flows around it and being recycled and reordered so the timelines co-exist without damaging each other. The Loom powers the TVA, and since past, present and future exist all the time, it's a life-long power source, Timely's dream.
That would explain how HWR sits in a castle in the centre of a manufactured, isolated Sacred timeline. His tempad isn't of TVA design. Was he inspired or did he just invade the TVA and steal their concepts and ideas? (Despite being himself involved with the creation of the Loom) Repurposed time doors into time cubes. Reshaped a multiverse protecting team of people into a purely bureaucratic time police.

More Chase/Kaz headcanons
•Kaz is very much into alternative music, albeit more popular bands like Fall Out Boy and Rise Against. Spike is into it too but leaning more metalcore and screamo.
°It freaks Adam the fuck out when he goes down to the lab and finds Spike jamming out to some Ice Nine Kills while training.
°Although Adam and Kaz do find it funny because in "Communion of the Cursed" one of their lyrics is literally "Get on your knees and prove your worth."
°Speaking of Spike, Chase learns to control him a lot better when they're older so he doesn't come out as much anymore, but that leaves the times Spike does come out into full blown tantrums.
°Chase would never admit it out loud but that part of him does need attention too and really only comes out when Spike doesn't feel like he's getting enough.
°Kaz has learned that the only way to get through to Spike is to talk calmly to him and as he would to Chase. Which he just sees Spike as a part of his boyfriend, no different.
•Adam is big into country music but he's not elitist about it. In fact, he would love the "This ain't Texas" Beyoncé song.
•There isn't an Elite Force for long. Mighty Med eventually gets rebuilt and Kaz realizes he can't save the heroes if he's being one.
°It might stem from insecurity about not being sure he can 100 percent control his powers or that he's just more comfortable doing the background work.
°Either way, it's all a group decision to split the Elite Force, although Skylar with join Bree on missions sometimes.
°Kaz would be lying if he didn't admit he missed being a part of a team, but being part of Mighty Med soon became a team to him and even a family.
•Somehow, I'm not sure how, they are connected to the Henry Danger universe.
•Kaz "proposed" to Chase with a RingPop like all cringe babygays.
•Their actual wedding had A-list superheroes and company owners, much to Chase chagrin who wanted a small wedding.
•But Kaz made it up to him by flying him across the city and to the Bionic Island.
°Which, it was the thought that counts because Chase is terrified of heights.
•So I don't know if this is obvious, buy the Davenport kids aren't robots. They're humans just with bionic abilities. So I'm guessing in the way I'm seeing things their chips are sorta like a prosthetic if that make sense. I don't know. Feel free to correct me.
°If we're going by that sense of logic, then having bionic chips for super speed or what have you would become more common in the future, albeit for rich people.
°It definitely would make Chase insecure that there are more bionic people but also feel more welcomed into the world then standing on the outside. As for Adam and Bree too.
°But these newer bionics have upgraded systems and overall better functioning for them. They don't glitch as often, rarely with this new tech rolling out, and it embrasses all three of them when they glitch in public because of how old their chips are getting.
°Speaking of glitching, although Kaz isn't an engineer, anytime any one of the glitches he will take them back to the mansion to help Davenport and combine engineering with his medical knowledge. And as they get older it only gets worse.
°Once on a mission, all three of them simultaneously glitched and Kaz could hear it on his radio to them. He immediately called an ambulance to Mighty Med. Although Skylar yelled at him for not just flying over there.
•Kaz is CONVINCED Tony Stark once came in for his reactor messing up.
•When they're in their early 20's, Kaz shoots up taller than Chase to around Adam's height but he likes to joke he's secretly Elastic-Man and be any height he wants.
•Kaz refuses to take a side on the DC/Marvel debate although he will talk for HOURS about how the MCU is deteriorating.
•Skylar and Bree have some pretty sick cosplays of Vision and Wanda though while Kaz goes as Captain America and Chase goes as Bucky Barnes.
°Leo goes as Loki and tries to convince Adam to go as Thor but he goes as Groot instead. And of course, Donald goes a millionaire Playboy Tony Stark.
•Kaz is, of course, everyone's personal heater but he can not stand any of the eighty blankets Chase keeps around him to sleep.
°So they made a deal, only, like, two blankets but to keep them on Chase's side, that way Kaz can still be his personal heater.
•Kaz hates summer but he loves the pool... just not what it does to his powers. (Not to mention it takes an hour or two to come back.)
•Once, to piss Kaz off on his birthday, Chase individually wrapped each page of a comic book.
°But it was better than the time he used actual comic book pages as wrapping paper.
•Chase and Adam have autism while Kaz has ADHD.
•All three of the Davenkids can NOT sleep in darkness. Probably because they grew up sleeping in capsule, but neither can Kaz or Skylar. Kaz because obviously his powers are fire ability and it would scare him shitless if he woke up randomly in the middle of the night and couldn't summon a flame. And Skylar because it's just how she grew up on her planet.
°Chase figured out a way he wouldn't need to sleep in his capsule anymore but still sometimes does one for familiarity, two for when he's mad at Kaz.
•Also, all Davenkids have done animal therapy at least once (including Leo) and actually got it integrated into Mighty Med. That's how most of the superheroes ended up with their animal sidekicks.
•As he gets older Kaz accepts he's not going to be on the frontlines as a superhero but begins to get comfortable with that as he becomes more concerned with being a doctor.
•Kaz sometimes gets full on Will Solace from Percy Jackson mode. "Doctor's orders" and literally having to drag Chase away from his projects to go to sleep.
Let me know if you guys want more of these!

Modern Helaegon AU
Aegon and Helaena first started dating in highschool. They ran in the same social circle with Aegon being an emo pot head and Helaena being the weird but smart but girl.
In junior year, Helaena got pregnant and decided to keep the babies. The two had twins, Jaehaerys and Jaeheara, in the summer between Junior and Senior year.
Helaena and Aegon tried to stay together as a couple but decided that they wanted different things in life. The twins stayed with Helaena and her parents (Alicent mom and Criston step-dad) and visited Aegon and his family (to keep them unrelated it’s Viserys dad and Aemma mom with sister Rhaenyra) on every other weekend.
Aegon dropped out of highschool and tried to start a band with his friends but started to languish without purpose in life.
Helaena went on to graduate highschool with honors, get accepted into a top tier university for entomology, completing her PhD.
As the twins grow up, Jaehaerys becomes very popular and outgoing competing in a lot of sports and after school activities. Jaehaera keeps to herself and starts to get into her dad’s old rock music. Aegon will take the twins for a car ride and play AC/DC while singing along and Jaehaera starts head banging to it while Jaehaerys just covers his ears.
Aegon decides that he need to step up for his kids and be a better co-parent for Helaena. He finishes his GED and starts an apprenticeship with a sound engineer. He gets pretty good at his job and begins writing music for bands and sometimes steps in to add different instruments of the band is missing someone to play it.
Aegon and Helaena reconnect and fall back into love as they’ve grown up and are able to connect more deeply. They get back together and have Maelor! The twins are around 10 when Maelor is born.
Helaena takes Maelor to her lab instead of a daycare cause she loves her baby and doesn’t want him leaving her side. Baby Maelor also tries to eat some bugs and needs a play pen prison to keep him safe. Aegon teaches Maelor to play the drums and the baby ends up breaking the drum sticks a few times.
Aegon wants his kids to learn to play different instruments and teaches Jaehaera how to play the guitar and sing while Jaehaerys likes playing classic piano.

Chapter 25: If You Love Her (TEASER)
A/N: Sooo, with the way my life's going right now (on the homestretch regarding my degree = the search for a "big girl" job begins, and the fact that I plan on making this chapter insanely long), I've decided to give a teaser, for those following this story.
P.S. Bonus points to those who can name the game Val, Raph and Mikey are playing 😁
TW! No trigger warnings.
Masterlist / Chapter 24
--------------------------------
(10 months earlier...)
"Alright, everyone shuddup! I need to focus..."
"Focus on what? I thought we agreed to kill everyone-"
"That doesn't sound morbid at all, Mikey... and I didn't agree to that - you two did."
"Why would'ya wanna keep Emily alive, anyway? She's a bitch-"
"I don't care. I want at least someone to live through this sh- AAH-!"
"Whoa-!"
"OhmyGod ohmyGod ohmyGod-!!!"
"Quick, they're gonna getcha-!"
"What is that- SHIT! Triangle, triangle, triangle- NO-!!"
"Whelp, bye flare-"
"WHAT THE FF-"
"Watch yo profanity-"
"Shuddup! ... Left, right, left, right- RIGHT- SHIT-!"
"Well, hello gorgeous-"
"WHAT IS THAT?! ... Ohhh, my God. Emily, please, don't die...!"
Leo chuckled wistfully as he watched the three bicker like children, from the kitchen. In spite of the cards Val was dealt those past couple weeks (assault, charges and associated court drama), the leader was relieved his friend could still be, for the most part, her vivacious self.
They hadn't yet spoken about that night; the night they were forced to get a little too close for comfort, after he'd saved her life. She'd never approached him with it, nor he her. But, admittedly, it occupied his thoughts often; primarily how her touch and perfume still lingered on his body...
He understood now that that was the beginning of the end, for him. Despite his best efforts to remain emotionally detached from this woman, he'd in fact grown attached; and how...
Leo's heart did the new clenching thing at Raph's arm stretching over the back of the sofa, behind Val's head; fingers unwittingly searching for her shoulder. The moment they made contact, the leader tore his gaze away; refocusing on the two mugs of partially made green tea on the counter, before him... and the decision to finally let her in...
"WHAT?! ... You-!"
Two pairs of sniggering voices abruptly filled the air, accompanied by grunts and thumps shortly thereafter. Turning outward again, Leo found Val looming over his red-banded brother, bandaged hand snug against her vintage AC/DC t-shirt, repeatedly smacking a cushion over his head with the other.
Glimpsing the TV screen, two sharp, gangling thumbs thrust themselves inside the screaming woman's eye sockets, silencing her instantly.
"Why *smack* would *smack* you *smack* do *smack* that?!" Val exclaimed over Raph's broken laughter, and Mikey's howling. "She was doing so well-"
"Not anymore-"
"Yeah, cos your menace of a brother knocked my arm-"
"I'm s-sorry," Raph wheezed, finally granted respite. "I couldn't resist-"
A low, pointed whistle drew Leo's attention to the lab's entrance, finding Donnie peeking through at him. He offered an expectant look, to which the purple-banded brother grinned and nodded downward; to the smallish lidded box in his hand - Val's gift.
Returning the smile, Leo nodded in acknowledgement before clearing his throat, addressing the others.
"Excuse me, children," He called wryly. When Val frowned at him, he chuckled. "Put down the cushion-"
"Call me a 'child' again and I'll-"
"You'll what?" The terrapin smugly challenged. "Not get your present?"
That shut her up.
Looking to the others quizzically, they offered the woman a knowing smile. Raph pecked the top of her hand as he snuck the cushion out of her now lax grip.
---
Seated in the common area, the brothers shared anxious glances as Val proceeded lifting the box's lid, smiling in bemusement at the hand-sized, cylindrical device sitting snugly inside.
"It's a portable bō," Donnie clarified, when she looked to him expectantly. He leaned forward to carefully remove the device from its container, turning it in his hands as he continued.
"It's spring-loaded. So, when you press the trigger, here-" the terrapin's thumb hovered over the centre pushbutton; eyes trained on Val's face, to check she was watching - she hadn't blinked.
"It'll extend-" Confident nobody was at risk of being struck, he proceeded pressing down; the woman flinched - with a gasp, then a nervous titter; earning a comforting shoulder squeeze from Raph - at the once 10-inch device abruptly quadrupling in length.
"-to about four feet... You can lock it into place using this mechanism, here... To bring it back down, simply slide both ends in, like so... then use the mechanism again."
Setting it in Val's readied palm, Donnie offered her a doleful smile. "Perfect for your purse."
As her fingers closed around the device, Leo - seated in a dining chair alongside his purple-banded brother - chimed in.
"We wanted to give you something that couldn't easily be used against you," he remarked gently; blood cooling at the notion that, had he not acted when he did that night, she very likely wouldn't be sitting across from them right now... "Something with which you can still protect yourself, but not cause serious damage. Because, we..."
Swiping his tongue over his parched lips, the leader proceeded gesturing to each of his brothers, then himself; sharing a knowing glance with Raph. "We know you've been struggling with that, lately..."
At that, Val promptly lowered her gaze. The brothers caught a flicker of regret in her mein as that titter made the rounds again; cheeks flushing a brilliant red. "I-I, heh... I don't... k-know-"
"Dudes," Mikey interjected, sensing their friend's discomfort. Practically leaping from his armchair, the terrapin wittingly leant across an irritated Raph to reach said brother's girlfriend. "You forgot the best part! ... See this, here?"
Guiding Val's fist open, Mikey proceeded carefully turning the device until a near indiscernible etching crept into view. She squinted at it:
Dudette = Baddest Bitch
A snort promptly escaped her; heart lifting, Mikey finally exited Raph's personal space with a self-satisfied smirk - mission accomplished.
"She loves my handiwork," he gloated, earning a playful eye-roll from not just his brothers, but Val included.
"I'm surprised you used the equality sign correctly," Donnie remarked wryly.
The youngest brother preened. "See, I'm not just charm and good looks-"
"You also know first grade math," Raph quipped, offering a now crabby-looking Mikey a thumbs up. Donnie and Val broke into sniggers; Leo chuckled under his breath, rolling his eyes once more. "Good for you."
"You're an ass-"
"Alllright-"
"Thank you..."
The room fell silent at Val's voice. Her grateful, teary-eyed smile panned from one brother to the next; clutching her gift firmly against her chest. "Thank you... for this. This means... t-this-"
She blinked and a tear slipped past, prompting a concerned Raph to wrap an arm around her back and squeeze gently. There was that titter, again.
"Raph's done a brilliant job, arming you with such skill in such a short amount of time..."
Turning his gaze from his eldest brother to his girlfriend, Raph smiled down at her amorously. "I had a good student." he murmured, squeezing her again; causing her cheeks to flush once more.
Leo could now feel the strain of every muscle in his jaw as he forcibly maintained his smile.
"So, we've been talking, and... we want to teach you the way of the Ninja-" Val's eyes bugged out at that, breath catching in her throat. "-like our... father did us-"
"A-are you serious?" The woman's lips finally tweaked upward as an astonished chuckle escaped them.
"Are you- w-wait..." Her gaze ping-ponged between the brothers, once again. "Are you sure it isn't my birthday? Did I get bopped on the head, at some point-"
Mikey proceeded lightly tapping her forehead, "Bop"; to which she playfully pushed him away, with her good hand.
"You know what I mean..."
"No," Leo chuckled softly, shaking his head. "No, this... this isn't a trick-"
"You're ready, babe," Raph assured gently. The others hummed and nodded in agreement.
Val gave her boyfriend a mordacious look, raising her injury to his eye level. "I think my beautiful hand would disagree with you-"
"That'll heal, Val," Don reassured, then shrugged. "Besides, you really should start exercising those muscles. L-lightly, of course, and in short intervals. Recovery's faster that way-"
"Iiin other words..." Mikey interjected, grinning impishly at his purple-banded brother's admonitory look. Ignoring them, Leo proceeded offering Val a hopeful smile.
"So... do you accept?"
Watching her face, the leader could pinpoint the moment that sliver of doubt melted away; a genuine grin finally gracing her features. "Hell yeah!"
He didn't have to fight to produce this smile. "Good... Now-"
Refusing to allow himself the chance to chicken out, the leader promptly rose from his chair, shooting Raph a knowing glance as he offered Val his hand. "I've one last thing for you."

Justice Warriors
Today (May 22), I’m keynoting Public Knowledge’s Emerging Tech conference in DC.
Tomorrow (May 23), I’ll be in TORONTO for a book launch for Red Team Blues that’s part of WEPFest, a benefit for the West End Phoenix, onstage with Dave Bidini (The Rheostatics), Ron Diebert (Citizen Lab) and the whistleblower Dr Nancy Olivieri.
The internet did not create Matt Bors, but the internet would be a much poorer place without Bors and his acerbic, scorchingly funny webcomics, which he publishes at The Nib (a site he founded), amongst some of the web’s most iconic humor:
https://thenib.com/
Founding The Nib and creating a home for all those great webcomics would be legacy enough for one creator, but Bors monumental accomplishment with The Nib is topped by his savage creation, Mr Gotcha, the single most effective rebuttal to the most annoying Reply Guys on the whole internet:
https://thenib.com/mister-gotcha/
Dayenu: if he had only founded The Nib, it would be enough. If he had only created Mr Gotcha, it would be enough. But Bors continues to amaze and delight. In Justice Warriors, a graphic novel he co-produced with Ben Clarkson, we get a distillate of all the weird, crazed things both grotesque and lovable about the net of a thousand lies:
https://membership.thenib.com/products/justice-warriors
Justice Warriors is what you’d get if you put Judge Dredd in a blender with Transmetropolitan and set it to chunky. The setup: the elites of a wasted, tormented world have retreated into Bubble City, beneath a hermetically sealed zone. Within Bubble City, everything is run according to the priorities of the descendants of the most internet-poisoned freaks of the modern internet, click- and clout-chasing mushminds full of corporate-washed platitudes about self-care, diversity and equity, wrapped around come-ons for sugary drinks and dubious dropshipper crapola.
Outside of Bubble City is the Unoccupied Zone, which is very much occupied with a teeming assortment of motley mutants, themselves gripped by endless crazes, fads, and trending subjects. The Uzzers are Bubble City’s hated underclass, viciously policed by the Bubble City cops, who mow them down with impunity, crying about their impending PTSD as they work the trigger.
Justice Warriors is a cop buddy-story dreamed up by Very Online, very angry creators who live in a present-day world where reality is consistently stupider than satire. As Bors told Cy Beltran in Comics Beat, “The current moment is so many things at once, it’s an omni-crisis of politics and attention — that’s what felt important to tap into, that sense of frenzy you can barely keep up with.”
https://www.comicsbeat.com/matt-bors-justice-warriors-interview/
That’s the feeling of Justice Warriors, all right. As Bors puts it, they tackle “social media derangement, celebrity culture, investment schemes, mass movements, and A.I.” in a tale with more sight-gags, densely packed literary references, and savage takedowns per page than anything you’ve ever read.
The art in this book is spectacular, styled a bit like those ultra-busy Al Jaffee full-page MAD Magazine spreads, or the Moss Eisley Cantina, or the wild alien scenes from Ben Hatke’s YA classic Zita the Space Girl kids’ graphic novels:
https://memex.craphound.com/2012/06/25/zita-the-space-girl-delightful-kids-science-fiction-comic-thats-part-vaughn-bode-part-mos-eisley-cantina/
But Justice Warriors is grosser, busier, and more frenetic than any of them. As Bors describes it, they created “a chaotic mutant-infested city that tops the most sensory-overloading cities in all of comics and animation.”
Justice Warriors is a mind-altering experience. If you liked Bubble, Jordan Morris and Sarah Morgan’s apocalyptic comedy podcast/graphic novel, you’ll love Justice Warriors:
https://pluralistic.net/2021/08/21/podcasting-as-a-visual-medium/#huntr
This is a comic book the internet needs. In a century, when our mutant descendants wonder how it all went wrong, they can use Justice Warriors as a Rosetta Stone to make sense of the detritus of our civilization.
Catch me on tour with Red Team Blues in DC, Toronto, Oxford, Hay, Manchester, Nottingham, London, and Berlin!
If you'd like an essay-formatted version of this thread to read or share, here's a link to it on pluralistic.net, my surveillance-free, ad-free, tracker-free blog:

DP x DC: A Little Vicious Snippet #4
Summary: Vlad sabotages the portal. And Danny's life sucks. So much
The bats get involved.
Warnings: blood, amputation, violence
I've technically been sitting on this too long, and it still doesnt feel exactly right, but it's my first attempt writing any kind of action scene so.
Previous Snippets: #1 X, #2 X, #3 X, HERE
-----
Vlad is not happy. Granted, he has a lot of reasons to be unhappy. But this feels like a new low.
It was when he'd bought into that damn company that his troubles started.
Daggett Industries is a shadow of the company it once was. Scandal after scandal and its involvement in illicit activity had ruined its reputation. Its founder had been locked away for years. And the company was drowning under new management.
It's a private company, and in the wake of Roland Daggett's arrest the fate of the company had been placed in one of his children.
It was vulnerable. And it was oh so easy to overshadow one man and force him to sell out to Vlad co. The pitifully low price Vlad had settled on may have been suspicious. But it was as good as dead in the water. Daggett Industries was hardly worth anything at all anymore and in Vlad's opinion, he still overpaid.
Still. There needed to be something on paper to avoid suspicion.
He wouldn't have bothered purchasing the company at all if it weren't for that one scientist who operated out of Daggett Labs. And one damning, carelessly left plasma sample in the wrong place. The woman had been researching and testing and formulating theories on it.
For the past two weeks.
Two weeks too long in his opinion.
Twenty years he'd been able to stay under the radar. And then one woman, a scientist, stumbles over her newest project.
Him.
And Vlad can't have that.
But the company is Vlad's property now. He has access to and authority over any of the projects they work on. The sample had been retrieved. The woman's findings had been trashed. And her contacts sabataged.
He'll know when she inevitably starts her research from scratch. He'll know what she's looking for, where she's looking for it, and if she manages to find it. Or anything.
It should have all been neatly swept under the rug.
It should have happened the same as any other company Vlad took over.
But it didn't.
No, instead the man he'd overshadowed cried foul play.
The company was Vlad's now, the contract was signed. It was a done deal. But that wasn't what he was concerned about.
The man's cries should have been swept under the rug.
Simple regret of a petty, greedy little man.
And they were. That's usually how things went. But apparently somewhere along the way he'd still managed to stir up some suspicion.
Because there could only be one reason Vlad was looking at a bat through the security camera in his newest office.
But it didn't matter.
Vlad would deal with this the way he dealt with every other obstacle.
People could be agreeable when Vlad wanted them to be.
XXX
The patrol had been going well, for the most part. He and Robin had been paired together, which wasn't ideal. But he could work with that. Even if he was a little suspicious of Bruce's intentions for setting them on patrol together.
They had apprehended the runaway perpetrator of a hit-and-run, stopped several muggings, and some idiot trying to break into an ATM with a crowbar. It was productive. Even if it wasn't as glamorous as taking down Poison Ivy, or the Riddler.
Damian was probably hoping for more action though.
But a quiet night was a good night. And it was a mostly quiet night.
Except for the fact that they were being tailed.
Red Robin launched his grappling gun, following after his younger brother. The youngest was always too eager. He always pushed to take the lead when he was out with Tim. But if there wasn't specifically an emergency or Tim knew Damian was heading the way he wanted him to anyway, it was usually better to let him at least feel like he was in control.
At least for the sake of keeping the peace.
And if Tim grit his teeth a little too hard sometimes. Nobody but his dentist needed to worry about it.
The rush of air was brief. And then he tucked into a roll to ease his landing. He stood swiftly and came to stand…well, not next to the brat but near enough.
"Bout time you guys showed up."
Red Hood stubs out his cigarette on the wall next to him. Then flicks it as he leans back again with his arms crossed over his chest. He only wore a domino mask, his helmet sat by his feet.
"B'd be pissed if he saw that," Red Robin said, before striding past the man and peering over the ledge of the roof to the streets below.
It was a quiet night. The air was chilly and the sky was as muggy as it always was in Gotham. The streets below were lit with an eerie glow. He could see a few people walking quickly on the sidewalk.
"I don't see why Father would care enough to fret over the zombie's health."
"Like I give a shit what the old man thinks either way."
He hadn't managed to catch sight of whoever was following them. Whatever their goal, they hadn't made any moves yet and it put Tim on edge. He estimates it's been at least 15 minutes already.
At least since they crossed over into Crime Alley.
And whoever they were, they were fast. That was for sure. Even with their grappling hooks. Even with the speed and ease they could move across the rooftops, their pursuer kept pace with them. They left no opportunity open for Tim to get out of their line of sight and turn the tables on them. They dogged the boys' steps in a way that made him feel preyed on.
They were quiet. The stalking probably would have gone unnoticed if it weren't for the rare slip ups that tipped him off. A soft pat of feet landing on the ground of an empty alleyway, just a hair too close to be out of his hearing range. A discarded bottle nudged into a sudden inexplicable roll. There had even been one moment. A few seconds when Tim had launched his grappling hook, flown through the air–
And flew through a hot spot. Just a sudden patch of heat and humidity that left him feeling uncomfortably feverish and like there was acid in his chest. A sudden change in temperature that he'd zipped into and through before he even had time to process the change. But it had been enough of a change that it almost startled him into losing his grip on his grappling gun midair.
Tim takes a second to scan the horizon in front of him. The familiar smog was thick in his nostrils. All the usual sights and sounds of the city, and not a thing was out of place.
Looking in windows, scanning the rooftops. Fire escapes. Anywhere he could think.
But it's like their pursuer is a ghost.
Or just invisible.
But not undetectable, he thinks to himself.
He turns to face Hood.
"Really, Hood. I follow some of the medical journals Gotham University has released and the current research says–"
"Yeah, yeah, if I wanted a lecture I'd offer one to the big bad bat himself."
"Well, as much as I'd like to see the look on his face. That's one way to get yourself under Big Brother's Eye," he shrugs, "You know how he gets."
The second the code slipped past his lips, there was a slight stiffening in the man's shoulders and Tim knew his message was heard. They were being watched. Speak carefully.
Satisfied, Red Robin turned a glance to Robin. He wasn't as subtle about it, he was trying to peek around Tim and had a venomous look on his face that made Tim want to shake him to make him straighten it out. He had his hand on his tool belt.
At least he got the message.
"But alright, I'll lay off."
"How kind of you," Jason smirked.
With an ease that only comes with practice, Tim drew back over to the group. Hood hadn't moved from his spot. He nonchalantly glanced around and Tim waited for the man to make eye contact with him again.
"All in all, it's been a pretty quiet night so far. No metas at least," as he said this, he thumbed at the edge of his mouth, marking the statement as inaccurate Intel, "B's probably happy about that."
Whoever they were, there was almost no doubt they were a meta. Probably invisible, but he couldn't say that part with present company.
Tim pushes his hair out of his eyes, and as he does he activates the thermal imaging in the lenses of his mask. Step one, try to get eyes on their invisible man.
They could do this quietly. Find the meta's vantage point, take them by surprise-
He stills just slightly when he finally sees it. But then keeps his gaze moving past till it's just in his periphery.
Much closer than he thought they'd be.
On the roof with them in fact. Or hovering over it to be more accurate. Far closer than Tim was comfortable with.
A hot spot. The shape of a man. Looming over Damian's shoulder.
And based on the look on the kid's face, he could probably feel the shift in the air behind him. He was tense, and he'd stopped looking around to stare resolutely forward with a scowl.
The figure behind him was tall, broad shouldered, and through the view of his infrared, the form looked unstable, like mist gathered together. There were what almost looked like horns on his head and long spindly fingers on his hands. His eyes were visible to Tim, piercing white through the lense of his infrared, like they were radiating heat all on their own.
A whole new meaning to the term 'heated glare.' Tim suppressed a shiver.
To his side Red Hood pushed off from the wall, seeing the subtle posturing in the younger bat. Hood would go for his helmet, most likely. They didn't know much about the meta, better to play it safe–
"Face us, coward! Quit hiding in the shadows!!"
And there goes the element of surprise. For the hundredth time since they left the cave, Tim cursed the fact that he got stuck with the fourteen year old. He behaved best in Bruce or Dick's company, not theirs. And definitely not his.
Okay, that's ok. Re-evaluate.
Quickly, Tim threw three birdarangs in the direction of the hot spot. With any luck, the fact that he'd been spotted threw him off.
But they flew straight through.
There was a chuckle from the figure, then a red hot core in the center of the mass grew and the figure struck out with an arm. The veins within it seemed to light up with the energy.
He briefly thought what that looked like without infrared.
A bolt of energy flared in Tim's eyes as it zipped across the rooftop and hit the wall where Red Hood had been standing a second before. He was crouched now, several feet away. Guns already in hand.
Tim took a second to shake off his confusion. He pulled out his bo staff and it sprung open to its full length as he jumped backward to situate himself nearer to an air conditioning unit. Somewhere he could attack, but also prepared for a defense.
"Aren't at least the two of you too old for dress up games?"
Robin backed off with a readied stance, but snapped his katana in front of him with a snarl at the slight. And Hood clicked the safety off, Tim didn't have time to wonder if they were loaded with rubber bullets or not. He could only hope they were or they were gonna hear about it from Bruce.
Both of them were ready to dodge at a moment's notice.
"You saying you don't have a costume? Pity you can't join the party," Hood sneered.
Okay, their adversary could throw energy blasts. On top of being able to turn invisible and density shift. So he had a pretty solid defense.
But he'd slipped up before. So he couldn't hold it indefinitely. Would he have to become visible again when he dropped his intangibility? Was there any kind of tell that would let them know when their attacks would hit?
At least they weren't completely at a disadvantage. They outnumbered him, he couldn't watch all of them for an attack.
Still, they'd have to be careful and co-ordinated about this.
From the corner of his eye, to his left now, Damian sucked a breath in through his teeth and the pommel of his sword creaked in his grip. Tim thumbed the trigger on his mask and in the span of a blink his vision returned to normal.
He was met with an alien-looking blue face and glowing red eyes.
"Can't say I recognize you. We do something to tick you off? Or were you just looking to blow off some steam?"
"Just thought I'd introduce myself," the man said through a fanged grin, sizing them up. Tim's stomach crawled as the man briefly dragged his eyes over him with a fierce red gaze. An alien, definitely, but not one Tim recognized. "I wanted to be better acquainted with Gotham's legends."
"By stalking us? I think your etiquette needs some work, Dracula."
Jason watched the figure as he stalked a perimeter around the metahuman. His guns still in hand, but not yet aimed at the target. He thumbed the safety threateningly.
The meta's gaze was drawn a little further from Tim.
"I go by Plasmius, actually," the alien smirked, stating almost curiously at Red Hood.
It was better if his eyes stayed on Jason.
"I think Dracula fits just a little better," Jason mocked, "What was it you asked before? 'Aren't we told old for costumes?'"
The alien sneared.
Tim wanted to ask questions, wanted to interrogate. But he stalled those instincts, caught Damian's eye instead and tilted his chin up. Robin conceded with a glare. He stalked away in the antihero's direction.
Tim took a few slow steps closer, and reached into his utility belt.
Making sure Hood and Robin caught the glint, he flung the capsule, shut his eyes and clapped his hands over his ears.
A bang and burning light flooded the rooftop. The meta yelled–hopefully stunned–and Tim made his move.
With a swish his bo staff swung straight through his opponent.
Tim buried his frustration and threw himself to the side to avoid the swipe of a glowing fist that just scarcely missed him. He wrinkled his nose at the metallic smell of ozone and sharp heat that singed his cape. He hit the ground and rolled to his feet.
Another swipe forced Tim to backtrack several paces to avoid it.
Three bangs and a snarl, and the man stops his assault on Tim. Definitely rubber bullets. Unless the man had bullet-proof invulnerability on top of everything else. The man flies to the side, and energy shoots out of his hands toward Jason this time. For his trouble another shot slices the air and just barely misses him.
The energy faded from the man's hands.
Another loud bang, and this one zips through him instead.
So he couldn't attack and hold intangibility at the same time?
Tim has his tell.
Plasmius locks eyes onto Jason once again. And he flickers out of visibility. Tim flicks on the thermal vision just in time to spot the man descend through the roof.
"He's in the building!" Tim shouts.
Just as the words leave his mouth, a force shoots back out of the ground and snags his ankle. He's yanked off his feet until his eyes connect with Jason's heat signature. Upside down. Heat shoots past him and Jason's gun is knocked out of his hand. It flies off the roof.
He's dropped.
A burst of energy hits him in the back and drives him back to the ground face first.
Tim grunts.
Robin's boots enter his field of vision as he pushes up onto his knees and elbows. Tim pauses as he hears the whistle of his sword slice above his back.
There's a snarl. Target hit, Robin dodges. And another blast hits the ground to his right. Too bright through the lenses of his thermal vision.
Tim snaps up his bo staff and throws himself back into action. He grits his teeth at the sting in his shoulders, but swallows his tongue.
Between one second and the next, there was that strange heat at his back. The contrast of it made him suddenly aware of the chill in his body. His first thought is that he's about to take another hit. And that was going to hurt.
And then it was on him.
In him. Under his skin, like a fever in his guts, but still the Gotham chill on his skin.
His blood pumped fast. And his heart beat hard in his chest. His hands thumbed at the sensor to turn off his thermal vision and he didn't do that.
It felt like the seconds after breathing in fear toxin. Just before the intense fear and anxiety hit. Like something was looming in the back of his mind and it was going to hit full force with no mercy.
He shut his eyes in an attempt to blink, but when his eyes opened again it wasn't Tim who dragged them open. He had to fight against the darkness creeping in the corners of his vision. He felt strangely sleepy. In a way that was different than his usual exhaustion. And far more oppressive.
He felt like he was in limbo.
Go to sleep, brat.
It felt like that voice was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. He heard nothing at all and it suddenly hit him that he really didn't hear anything at all. Like his ears had just stopped working. He tried to turn his head to gauge the others' positions. And the muscles in his neck contracted, but ultimately refused to obey him.
This was–
Sleep!
Was this mind control? The villain could control minds? With a power like that, with all the other powers he had–
This was dangerous.
He was dangerous.
But so was Tim. And Tim had trained for situations like this. Batman had a contingency for everything. He needed to fortify his mind, stay in the moment. Fend off the telepathic influence as long as he could. This wasn't the first time he's dealt with mind control.
Stubborn boy.
Yes, stubborn. The meta would know how stubborn Red Robin could be.
Through eyes that would barely twitch at his command, he could see the gravel on the rooftop. There was a scuff mark from one of their shoes. And dark blast marks from the meta's energy blasts. Tim remembers the heat of the meta's power as it came down toward him. The fire that sizzled in the air far too close to him.
If he focused, he could still feel the cool air on his skin. The chilled sweat under his suit. The heart that kept pumping fast with his adrenaline. The icy air in his lungs.
He was Red Robin. He was in control.
And then Tim's whole body seized.
His shoulders jerked of their own volition. He could feel one of his arms grind in its socket at the movement. His neck and torso craned back so hard several joints popped in his neck and in his spine as he bends nearly in two.
There was noise. It was muffled, like he was under water. But he could hear it.
Someone grabs the front of his uniform. He's yanked back to a standing position. His eyes connect with Jason's and then the hands are on his shoulders.
Red Hood was staring at him with a bewildered look on his face. He says something. Tim can't make out what and can't focus enough to read his lips.
His hands grab Hood's wrists. His nails dig in.
And Tim loosens them. Gentles his grip the best he can.
Tim feels his face twist into a fierce glare. And an anger burns in his mind with intent so malicious–
It's strong. And it hits Tim that he isn't going to be able to fend the meta off for long. Tim needs to be taken out of the game before something bad happens.
Tim's hand twitches toward his belt.
He can feel the weight of Hood's hands on his shoulders. He lets that ground him. One second. Two.
And then he steps out of the hold.
He grabs a disk from his belt, presses the trigger and clenches his hand hard around it. Willing it to stay shut long enough.
Three seconds.
Electricity lights up his body. He tips.
And barely notices when he hits the ground.
His skin is on fire. Every muscle in his body contracts. And his teeth are clenched hard as he seizes. He can feel something leaving him.
It's got to be his soul, he thinks. Cause this feels like dying.
And then a boot connects with his hand, knocking the electric disk away.
And it's over.
He's heaving breath after breath. Sweat drops down his brow. His skin is stinging, his ears are ringing, his burned back is raging with the abuse.
And he thinks he might have even hit his head when he fell.
"Damn it, Replacement! You have got to be the smartest fucking idiot I know."
He groans in reply.
"I got patience for exactly one dumbass stunt and you just wasted it. Next time you experiment with alternative ways to charge your phone, I'll kick your ass."
Okay, ignoring that.
And then he considers for a moment.
The presence is gone.
He tilts his head up to find Jason but the man is already rushing off again. Chasing after a billowing cape.
With a mocking wave the alien--Plasmius--flies toward the doorway to the building. Tim shakily pushes himself to his elbows.
"Leaving so soon, Dracula?"
Jason throws himself forward, making a mad grab at the man's shoulders. Tim almost shook his head, he wasn't going to be able to grab him. At least not for long.
His hand connected solidly. The man snarled and hurled himself through the thick cement blocks of the wall.
Jason hit the wall with a thud.
Tim moved first, but Damian was closer. He reached the door to Jason's right and hurriedly pulled out a lockpick.
Ignoring the door, Tim launched himself at the wall, kicking off and up just high enough to grab the ledge and throw himself over it.
He skidded to a stop when he ran out of roof and looked around wildly for any sign of the meta. There was nothing. No little red blip to show what direction he'd gone.
Did he stay in the building? Maybe he circled back around inside and took off in a different direction? This was going to be one annoying adversary.
"The hell?"
He looks over his shoulder and backtracks.
Then finally deactivates the thermal setting in his mask, sighing in relief at seeing the world normally again. The previously locked door was wide open and Damian was nowhere to be seen.
Jason looks grumpy when he sets his eyes on him. He's hunched over where Tim had left him. He's yanking harshly at–
Oh.
His hand was lodged in the wall.
Jason yanked again.
"Well, replacement? Are you gonna get me out of this or not?"
-----
Ten minutes later and one call to Oracle, Tim had still, in fact, not been able to get Jason out of this. His hand was stuck. It was just. Stuck. In the wall. No amount of yanking could get him loose. It was like Jason's hand was as good as fused with it.
They'd probably have to call the Martian Manhunter. Or a member of Justice League Dark. Tim couldn't even begin to think of what else could undo it. He'd consider Flash, but the man was off-world and Martian Manhunter had a much more precise control over density shift anyway. But then even with the Martian, John could density shift his own body, but Tim was sure his limit was his own body. Still, he'd be grateful for the expertise.
Either way, Tim knew two things were true. Bruce wasn't going to be happy about anything that went down tonight. And they might be stuck here for a while.
Tim briefly held onto the thought that at least there weren't any real bullets. That wasn't going to get them any points with Bruce though.
"Oracle is getting in contact with some people who might be able to…separate you from the brick. Hopefully I mean," Tim huffed a laugh. "You pack enough of a punch already without a cement block for a hand."
Jason groaned, and craned his neck toward Tim, unamused.
He expected a biting remark. But there was nothing. Just a look, and Jason was glancing away again. He'd stopped tugging on his hand pretty quickly, though he did occasionally attempt it again every so often. He was gonna have some wicked bruises when this was over.
"Still doing alright?"
"I said I'm fine. It just feels weird," Jason huffed as he ran a hand through his hair.
"Well, that's specific," came a derisive snort at Tim's feet.
Damian was sitting with his back to the door. He had his katana held in front of him and he was meticulously cleaning the meta's blood off with a gauze pad.
When he'd collected enough of a sample, he diligently placed it in a ziplock bag and stored it in his belt, the specific pouch Tim knew was temperature regulated.
He'd initially tried to run after the meta. But it was pretty clear they had a master escape artist on their hands.
Unlike Jason. Apparently.
"Any more details?" Tim piped up. He didn't exactly want to hound Jason about this. Especially when he already seemed like he was at the end of his rope. But problem solving was his specialty. And he didn't know any other way to help until they could get ahold of someone with more experience in density shifting. So this was what he had to offer.
Information gathering.
Maybe the lock on Jason's hand would wear off and he'd just slip out? Maybe this was the meta's doing, something he could control from a distance and once he got too far, his hold would release and Jason's hand would come free.
If that was true, it was an ingenious tactic to keep them occupied while he made his escape.
"Just. Cramped. Feels pretty tight. Think I'm losing circulation."
Tim frowned.
"Well, Nightwing said he was on his way. He should be here pretty soon."
"Great. Just what I needed. A family reunion I can't walk away from."
"Aw, don't be like that, Little Wing."
There was a whoosh of air, and Nightwing landed with catlike grace. Almost without a sound.
"You know you missed me."
"Missed kicking your butt, maybe."
"Maybe? Still room for doubt then?" Dick grinned teasingly, "That's almost a warm welcome."
He peaked around Jason's shoulder to take a look, and whistled when he saw it. Jason's hand cut off just above his wrist and past what they could see from the outside his hand was frozen in the shape of a fist.
"Oracle said you got into it with a meta."
"Yeah and he fled like the coward he is," Damian piped up, still sore from losing track of the man.
Tim wasn't grateful that the man got away. Especially so quickly and effectively. But the idea of either leaving Jason trapped by himself like this, or letting an all-too stubborn Damian pursue the meta alone did make him uneasy.
Especially considering how much trouble all three of them had in a fight with him.
"Well, Oracle wasn't able to get in contact with John just yet, but she was able to get a hold of his niece. Said he's just wrapping something up and she'll pass along the message. He should be here in an hour."
"So, what, I'm stuck here till then?"
"She's trying a few other contacts. But yeah, it might be a little bit," Dick's face twisted in sympathy.
"But hey, at least you got company!"
"As long as demon brat keeps his swords to himself."
"Are daggers off the table as well?"
"Fraid so, Little D."
Jason suddenly yanked his arm again with a grunt. And Tim started forward.
"That's not gonna be any use, you'll dislocate your wrist at this rate."
Jason growled, eyes tight in a glare.
"I know. I know that! It's just so fucking tight. Almost feels like it's squeezing my hand."
Tim narrowed his eyes.
"Does it hurt?" Dick asked as he laid a hand on his shoulder.
"Fuck! A little bit. I can't exactly stand up straight like this. I'm not at the best angle here."
Tim breathed. He almost didn't want to ask. But.
"Is it getting tighter?"
For a beat all eyes were on him, and in the next they all narrowed in on Jason.
It was dead quiet, Tim didn't think he'd need Superboy's senses to hear a pin drop from the alley below.
Jason breathed once. Heavy. His shoulders shuddered with it.
And the silence broke with a strangled grunt.
There was a piercing crack and a squelch and the sharp smell of iron hit his nose.
Jason made an agonized noise through gritted teeth and jerked back only to be stopped by Nightwing, suddenly there.
Tim lurched forward to brace his arm and his grip was slippery. Blood oozed out of the rock around the arm sticking out of it. The arm that they couldn't get out of the damn wall.
There was a crackling sound like bones were splintering and Jason was howling now.
And then cold metal sliced past Tim's face, so close he thinks it split a few hairs.
His blood ran cold at the sound of a sharp, heavy thwump.
And Jason collapsed. Like a marionette who's strings had just been cut.
Or some other kind of tether had been.
There was another terrible crunching noise and then silence was thick in the air and in his throat. He could pick out the white of bone in the detached bit of arm sticking out an inch from the cinder block and he jerked his gaze away so fast he thought for a second he'd pulled something in his neck. That was Jason's–
Tim turned his head slowly.
Damian's eyes were wide. His nostrils were flared, shoulders shaking and breath light. He had an iron grip on his katana.
Covered in blood, with a sword in his fists. He'd seen Robin like this plenty of times, and still, Tim didn't think he'd ever seen Damian look this young.
His boots were red.
So were Tim's.
He ripped his cape off his back and threw himself into action.
That was something he could do.

If you were able to create a character for DC comics/lore. What would they be like? And which powers would you like them to have? Nice work, author. Love your writing!
💌 : hmmm, that's hard! i feel like i have so many ideas, but i've never done enough world-building to make it more interesting beyond surface-level powers, lol. but since i finished a book that was kind of magical, i shall introduce. . .
maxwell baker / arcus.
a divine wizard whose powers can create and manipulate the skies in the beginning of his lore! perhaps maxwell will gradually be granted powerful divinity powers through his loss of hope after a tragic event? i'm not good with building up powers, lol, but i can imagine him being a big help for support uses in team-battles!
as for personal background, i'd love to see a more gentler but authoritative figure / leader in comics! maxwell is a new teacher in his city, where he teaches at a secret / underground school for children with powers, conducting core lessons on how to control your powers and emotions. his co-workers dismiss him because of his lack of experience, but he remains optimistic because in the end, he's here for his students.
perhaps that tragic event where he breaks down and loses all hope is when the school is suddenly infiltrated and destroyed by an organization or something that wants to utilize the students as their lab-rats! many faculty members are left for dead due to the sudden surprise, and it's only maxwell left to survive as his powers were little to no use in stopping the students being taken away!
and maybe his journey throughout his lore is learning to believe in himself, bringing the students back (at least those who were taken alive), and uncovering a more sinister organization at-hand and how to defeat it once and for all. dun dun dunnn.
not that great, a little cheesy, but i did my best, ok. anyways here are some outfit inspirations (i didn't draw this LOL, but not sure who to give credit to :o). and also not me suddenly making dc comics into a shounen or magika girl manga, like pls.
#✰ : nou.asks#idk ive always been a mage person#like literally every jrpg#i'm always obsessed with the mage#idc about sword-wielders why are they always given the most amount of responsibilities#cant wait for dc to shelf my character as soon as one issue doesnt sell well#as if they do marketing for their new heroes pfttttt

Titans: Season 4 - Ep 12: Finale, Dickkory + Whole Show - Thoughts
Oof, this is gonna be a long ass post. I'm gonna put into words my thoughts on the finale, my thoughts on dickkory in the finale as well as dickkory in general in the show and lastly a few thoughts on Titans as a whole since it began 4 years ago.
No word of a lie, I just sat and rewatched the finale with a notebook, noting every. single. thought. So... buckle up and good luck if you're gonna try reading to the end. XD
Episode 12: Titans Forever (Series Finale)
So, first, I'm just gonna talk about the finale without gushing over Dickkory. I will, obviously but I'm gonna separate them out.
I love that it got straight back into the action with little to no filler. Filler stuff fucks me off when you're so close to the end like in a finale, there should be no filler and for that, Titans got points from me.
I really liked that Rachel did her lil soul self projection - that was cool and not something we've seen her do before in the show (I don't think) so I found that a cool thing to throw in rather than having Kory just blow the door up which let's face it, still would have been boss af.
Lmao, Sebastian continues to be just such a little whiny bitch. XD I've said it every week but he's just so annoying. Don't get me wrong, I think Joseph Morgan did it well and he is a good actor but God, Sebastian is just so unlikeable for me. He fucking sucks and if I was in STAR labs, I would have thrown a punch like FUCK. The only time I was nervous of him was when he had my girl Kory for a hot minute. I did not enjoy that.
LOL. Trigon got like 2 mins of screen time and was then just gone. It was hilarious to me, I gotta be honest. Like Trigon was built up and then just got hacked by his son lmaooo. It had me laughing, ngl. Drinking the blood from his heart was weird af but was in keeping with the rest of the Blood cult and what the show has shown them to be like including Sebastian but still. Grim.
I really loved the title intro; how the images on the TITANS was the core four and then flashed as usual to the four of them from season 1. Idk if that was intentional but it felt like it and I appreciated it a lot.
GAR'S CRYING FACE THROUGHOUT THIS FUCKING EPISODE. MY POOR BABY, GOD DAMN IT. Conner's 'death', Kory's 'death'... like fuck give him a break.
GLAD TO FINALLY SEE GOOD BOI KRYPTO. I was wondering where the heck he had been, honestly. Good to see him there at the end. XD
Lmao, so I get it was to show like Dick was hopeful Conner would be okay but him whipping out his phone to make a dinner reservation had me cackling like bro, pick a better moment pls. Out of context, that would be so fucking funny. XD
I adored Tim's little rejoin with the team. He is such a Robin nerd, I love him. Everyone smirking like the cutie he is was sweet af.
Also really loved Kory and Rachel's power merge. It did fuck all cos he wasn't actually there but it made me happy. My girls. <3
Sebastian riding up to STAR Labs on his little blue bike - bitch, someone should have sniped your fucking ass off of it then & there.
I felt bad for Dr Espenson; I liked her. What a grim way to go too. Screaming, bleeding - ick.
Bernard literally getting up to see everyone getting murdered and was like well shit, fuck, I gotta move. XD
Lmao, Dick literally keeping a secret about a womhole; I was just... this is so on brand for him ffs. XD
Sebastian just being like, 'Fuck your password' and Calliope accepting it made me giggle. Idk why.
I really liked the explanation from Calliope about how powerful Kory really can be - Her strength is always downplayed in every media format, I swear. It fucks me off so badly. The woman can literally go toe to toe with Superman ffs like acknowledge her power, DC, you little bitch. God.
Kory getting controlled was a no no for me. When her eyes went red and she went a' wandering, I was like NOOO KORY! STOPPP! SNAP OUTTA IT!
I really liked the scene with Kory and Sebastian like my heart was racing and in my mouth cos it was like don't fucking touch her, you psycho but the tension was really good in that scene, I thought.
I won't lie, some scenes were weirdly paced however, I think it would work fine if you were binge watching the whole season. I like that it's straight in but it felt a tad all over the place in some parts but again, I don't think it would be an issue if you're just watching all the episodes together.
"You're no God." - Fucking GET HIM, Kory. Get wrecked, Sebastian, you glorified mama's boy.
The team takedown of the metahuman assault squad was rad; I loved the teamwork and the moves and it felt good to watch. I very much enjoyed it.
"I won't help you destroy my home - Either one of them" - Oh, Kory <3 You literally are such a sweetheart and I loved that it wasn't left to be ambiguous like gasp, which did she mean?
I DID NOT AND DO NOT APPRECIATE KORY IN PAIN. FUCK OFF.
Gar & Tim's friendship gives me life. They're just such bros; the shoulder taps and smirks like they are SUCH boys. I love them.
I SNORTED at the way Dick just pops outta nowhere and sucker punches Sebastian. It was so funny. XD
"For the record, that game you made fucking sucks." LOL TIM, my fucking soul mate. I was DYING. XD
Gar almost getting dragged into the wormhole had me on EDGE. Like, not my sweet, cinnamon boy, no thank you.
Rachel waking Kory; I was SOBBING. The flashes of Kory memories. My actual heart hurt.
Nightwing literally fighting until he is deadass on the floor was giving me life. We love to see a determined fool.
Superboy showing up last minute was pretty dope like a secret weapon, I liked it and was wondering like is Conner gonna appear orrr...? XD
LOL Conner with Tim & Gar was cute and great. "Wait, was I dead?" and Tim brushing it off like, "I'll explain later" had me creasing.
My God, Kory's sudden power up and her just soaring straight through the fucking roof had be cheering loudly like it was the best and is a favourite scene by loads. It was so frickin' cool and something I like to see Kory do in shows and movies and shit cos she is just so slept on by DC. She is fucking amazing and yet... we never get to see her like that or very rarely. I loved it.
The kids' sad faces when Kory is like 'No' to throwing Sebastian through the wormhole. I die. Rachel especially - Her face was so sad and if you look closely, you can see Rachel is like sobbing but trying to restrain her emotions after Kory lets go of her hand. She knew. She knew what mama Kory was gonna do.
Honestly, this scene with Kory still making the sacrifice was hard on my emotions and was the one that had me closest to tears - I was full on at the edge of crying ugly ass tears.
Kory's supernova was perfect to me. Like, yes, look at that damn powerhouse goddess.
Ryan's crying face had me wanting to cry this whole episode, omg.
Firstly... the Christmas scene is so weirdly placed, I thought and I have to say it. I don't get, and I've seen others question this too, if it's meant to be a flashback or a future vision. I assume it's the end of S3 cos Kory's hair, Tim isn't yet there, Rachel's hair is purple still... but Dickkory?? EXCUSE ME that is a bit cozy for just friends? Dick's hand on her waist and they are literally standing so close together wtf?? It was so freakin' cute regardless but yeah, it felt randomly placed. I agree, it should have been maybe used as a flash forward instead? Idk.
I keep mentioning it but GAR CRYING HAD MY HEART BREAKING EVERY TIME.
The float back down from space and the focus on her - Just really made me smile cos like it reminds me why Kory is and will forever be my favourite DC character and just fictional character in general. Thanks to Anna like Titans Kory has joined the roster for my top versions of Kory, idgaf what anyone thinks. I love her.
THE GROUP HUG. I AM A MESS.
The dinner scene was so bittersweet like it makes sense for the young ones to go - it was foreshadowed multiple times for each of them really but I was so sad. I not like team splits. I recently watched a new hero movie... hint hint where this is the same ending and I sobbed in the cinema. I hate these endings but I also get it. Like I said, bittersweet.
Gar embracing The Red & doing something for him felt right and a 'Good for him' moment.
Rachel going to college!! I like the Bludhaven Easter egg - it made me smile.
Tim is such a cutie and I really love Jay's portrayal of him.
---
Conner, we all knew that was coming too. All the babies flying the nest, I am SOBBING.
Love Krypto sat at the fucking table of this fancy ass restaurant lmaooo.
I really loved the finale, I will be honest. I really didn't have issues with it other than the small few I've listed. Like, I wish we had more time with the characters but the episode ending left me on a high but that could be cos it ended on my babies... It felt like an upbeat way to end the series and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Episode 12: Titans Forever (Series Finale) - Dickkory & DK Thoughts
So, I'm gonna basically do the same as above. Ima go through the episode and just gush about the DK scenes lmao.
I really did feel like there was Dickkory moments in every scene. There were individual scenes but I felt it was always there in the background. All of Dick's choices and his motivations etc, I felt like he always had Kory in his mind, personally.
The freakin' RV scene with them had me feeling all kinds of ways. It had me giggling and tearing up. The banter about them first meeting and her stealing his car!! I am so happy that that got brought up since we never really had them talk about those things after S1. For a while, it felt like it just got retconned. Glad to see it was not and they reflected on it.
Dick's fucking sad eyes and his broken way of being like, "Please, don't." I die. Brenton expressions especially when Dick is with Kory have always been so top tier, I stg.
LOL, when they learn about Project Icarus, Dick's eyes keep shifting back and forth to Kory as if being like "Fuck, wifey so gon' be big mad."
UGH. The "Kory, wait!" when she leaves the RV and is getting into the porche. The way he calls and runs out after her felt very reminiscent of S1 in Angela's house after she attacks Rachel. Like, mmm, yes. It felt similar and I adored it.
Dick & Kory's continued banter in the porche. Their serious af conversation about what they're going to intermingled with the reference yet again to his car and how they're even for his car and Dick's smirk... I loved it sm.
I loved that Kory checked his ass about Project Icarus when he got into the porche before she could drive off. He's so quick to be like, "Babe, I didn't even know nothing." XDDD Honestly, it's giving husband and wife. It had me dying.
"We're stronger together; you know we are." - STOP IM SOBBING. I really loved that line.
Dick's eyes are literally trained on Kory so. much. in this episode. He is concerned af and I am so here for it.
Dick's concern in the lab when she is awol is so cute like he is STRESSIN' but we love to see it.
LOL, Dick at the doors like, "BERNARD!" Like fuck man, give him a second! XD He called out like 3 times and was so impatient, it was hilarious. He was really giving, "My wife is in there with a psycho pls open the fucking doors." XD
Dick's fighting was so love fuelled, i don't care what anyone says. He literally fights like not my alien Princess, you don't, you dick! xD I'm probs delusional but all I could think was Dick's more pissed cos Kory is in danger.
Dick was so hopeful after Sebastian went down. He was like woo, yeah, we did it, it's over. Let's throw him into space, no dead Kory today. And she is just like... I'm sorry and dfhjhsdlkh. I was in pain. You can see him crumbling and is still trying to find ways for her not to do this. I had full on tears in my eyes.
The face caress like... it's so painful. He looks so crestfallen. I cannot.
"I don't know how to do that... I can't" - He sounded so broken, my poor dumbass!! I was in pain with this whole sequence.
Dick's tearfilled eyes - I was honestly so emosh; Anna and Brenton did that scene so well.
I really love the pause on Dick whilst they think Kory is dead like it's as if he knows or legit just cannot fathom Kory being gone.
HIS LIL WALK BACK OVER TO HER ONCE SHE COMES DOWN FROM SPACE. IT WAS A WALK WITH PURPOSE. You CANNOT tell me he wasn't instantly like, "Ima kiss her" when she came back to Earth. He had that determination in his eyes. She was getting thoroughly kissed.
THE KISS!!!!! SQUEEEEEE. Guys, I fucking died. I know it was a very long time coming and overdue but it was a good kiss. Dick diving in for a second kiss made me melt. I loved it.
The boys all grinning in the back had me smilinggg. Whether it was cos mom and dad were kissing or cos Kory wasn't dead, Idc it was cute.
Kory's lil 'Whoa' after the kiss was so adorable.
THE HAND ON HER BACK. Dick's hand was glued to her as they went over for the group hug. He was not letting go and it was... so cute.
Honestly, Dick's heart eyes again at Dinner where she's like "Guess you never know what the future holds" and his smile like fuck man, she's yours. Quit it alreadyyy!
Sighhh, the whole conversation when they were alone was great and I espesh loved, "They're not even leaving us Krypto" XD
The 'It's weird' 'What? You and I alone together?' was cute and ughhhhh I was dying.
The damn stroller with the red balloon. We see you, Titans. GOD! I liked that we got the subtle hint without a flashforward to having had Mar'i. I put this in the tags of a reblog and like I would have still sobbed at that but I like the subtle route a lot.
LOL DICK's "Maybe we should get on that" HAD ME CHOKING HAHAHA like BRO, you are leaping ahead. Even Kory took a minute looking at him like is this guy for real rn?? Man went from 'I don't do feelings' to 'I've picked the paint for our baby's nursery' lightning fast XDDD. But, they defo went home after and slept together after those drinks. You can't convince me otherwise.
They were so giddy and cutesy. Like, ugh I'm not over it. I'm on such a dickkory high.
I LOVE the ending on the bridge. Sunshine Kory skipping ahead and holding hands with and dragging her smiley yet grumpy Dick along. It just felt so them and the little bubbly action from Kory felt VERY her. Like it really sang, Kory to me.
I'm so happy they ended with Dickkory in a place so happy and in love - it rarely happens in DC so I am thrilled.
Guys, I know at times, it felt neverending and I'm with other DK fans. I really wish they had done this with Dickkory earlier in the show, I really do. I feel like we could have skipped some exes and other shit and got to this point with them a lot sooner but it is what it is.
I'm actually just so happy that they ended it on such a fluffy, lighthearted note for them. Like, they are so loved up at the end of the show and it just makes me happy that we got that. Could they have done more with them through the whole show? Absolutely. Could they have gotten to this point with them earlier? Also, absolutely.
But, I am grateful for the moments through each season that we got with them. Like, I think if I was to rewatch from S1, bearing in mind that Dick's basically been a goner since the night at the motel in S1, I feel like the seasons and episodes would feel different.
I'm just really grateful that I have another show that gave me dickkory content. I've followed them through multiple versions. TT Cartoon, DCAU, comics, TT Cartoon comics, TTG (in parts), Live action... like I just love them in every universe, including this one even if it's been trying at times.
But, there was nothing ambiguous about this ending for me. The point is to end them on a high all giggly and happy and thoroughly in love. I look forward to the fic writers for live action dickkory to cook up some beautiful fics after this just to keep the joy going.
I WISH there could have been an S5 to see Dick and Kory in an actually established place but that's what imaginations are for and luckily for me, I can imagine dickkory scenarios til the cows come home XD.
I've really enjoyed this version of them. It's been different but I still love them. I love Brenton as Dick and Anna as Kory respectively and I think their chemistry has worked so well in this show and it doesn't hurt that they are so close in real life. It's really sweet.
Idk, I have no issues with how they were ended. I was scared we wouldn't get a kiss but that kiss was adorable and ugh the last scene on the bridge just makes me so smiley, even now after hours of rewatching it XD
____________________________________________
Titans - Whole Show - Thoughts
I have always been very back and forth with Titans, I won't lie and tbh, anyone that follows me or knows me, knows that I've dipped in and out of Titans constantly.
However, going into Titans, I have ALWAYS said from day dot one that I was watching it for three specific things. Kory, Gar & Dickkory. That was it, hence I've never really cared for much beyond those things so my opinion will be wildly different from others, I am sure.
Season 1 got me invested. I loved the core four; hated the fucking pigeons and will die on my hill that they were a waste of screen time. But, our core four were the best thing about the first season, it was amazing.
Season 2 I enjoyed greatly but I did pull back a little but there were moments that brought me back in. And, there were some characters like Donna that reeled me back in cos I love her and I enjoyed hers and Kory's friendship as well as her friendship with Dick. I liked the storyline since Slade has always been a Titans douchebag but we love him.
Season 3, lmao, I dropped, I won't lie. I watched pieces from mutuals and sought out scenes and episodes of interest but honestly, it died a little for me in S3. It was based in Gotham and it had a tiny rekindle of another ship which... I saw zero value in doing. I was so anti season 3 lmao.
Season 4 pulled me right back in as it reminded me of S1. We'd lost the annoying af birds and it was back to core four plus Tim and Conner but like I was fully on board for them cos they didn't deter from the team vibe. Whereas, other side characters absolutely did and it was frustrating. Season 4 has definitely been my favourite season in the show.
It probably goes Seasons 4, 1, 2 & 3 tbh.
I've always had issues with Titans in various forms but y'know what? Overall, I've loved watching it. I wish some things had done better but I still loved the show that was given to fans overall.
I'm so sad it's ended but I am glad to have had some fan interactions through the course of the show. Dickkory fans especially know the DK desert is dry af most of the time so this was really nice to have the tag vibing most of the time.
I'm sad to see the show go and I hope we don't have to wait long to get something else Titans related that isn't a fucking backwards af comic from the assholes at DC. The irony, huh? XD
Thanks, Titans. It's been fun.
Dickkory friends, I look forward to forthcoming art and fics to read cos I need them to keep me on the high for the next few weeks. XD
P.S, well done if you actually read this whole thing. You're either amazing or insane. <3

Fandom Ask Game
4, 6, 14, 23
Ha ok #4 popular pairing I'm not into...
Very controversial opinion but Stucky 🫣
Stony yes
Stuckony yes
Winteriron yes
Stucky nooooo
Dunno why but I just cannot be interested in it!
Tbh I multiship tf out of Marvel including DC crossovers but never that 😅
Next ones are under the cut!
#6 bit of a wip! Please excuse my first draft choppiness! My writing is chaotic, I like to plot things out, but I write bits of scenes that are stuck in my head, then pad out & connect up later
Winteriron, murder husbands, gore but not graphic (yet!)
Bucky was captured by Hydra, but he is smiling, not scared of the chair
Baron Zemo behind glass screen
“why are you smiling?” he asked, through the speaker
“Something worse than the winter soldier is coming” Bucky laughed.
There's a corpse at Bucky’s feet, a blood soaked lab coat the owners throat torn out
Bucky's lower face is covered in drying blood
The lights go out
Something worse than me is coming plays on repeat in every room
Technician with Zemo runs, he left the door open and sprinted down the corridor
The recording stops and the lights come back on strobing red and gold in time to music
You're the one who makes me come runnin'
You're the sun who makes me shine
When you're around, I'm always laughin'
I want to make you mine
What??? Zemo confused
Bucky’s smile grew.
The console before Zemo warped and pulsed before transforming into more modern tech.
The chair holding Bucky releases him and the arm hanging over Bucky transformed into a oversized futuristic looking weapon that he picks up as the door containing him unlocks
Zemo turned and ran, Bucky stalked slowly behind him, he stalked him down corridors coated with blood and gore but no bodies, Zemo sliding in the viscera and bouncing off the walls as he scrambles, he got to the double blast doors and they vanished into a cloud of nanobots that used the materials to make more of themselves. Tony stands there in the middle of the swarm. His armour splattered with and dripping gore as he moved.
I don't want anybody else
When I think about you
I touch myself
His face mask melts back into the suit and he winked at Bucky as he put a metal gloved hand over his crotch and thrust his hips.
Zemo's eyes went wide with horror as he realised what he was trapped between.
#14 a ship I was sure I'd write but changed my mind
Ahhh kind of gammahammer 'cos I loooove that ship & it deserves more content but I've just not had anything live in my head that I needed to get out, I've not written it off as never yet though!
#23 have my favourite character or ship changed over time?
Yes! Every five minutes or so I'll give you a new blorbo in answer to that question 🤣
I don't abandon them though I always come back & cycle through ships, fandoms & blorbos!
#ask game#my writing#winteriron#murder husbands#minor stucky bashing#by being ambivalent to it not hostile!#this was fun thanks for the sanctioned ramble 😁
