D-Ecosystem:
D-Ecosystem is a decentralised network that leverages the power of blockchain to enable secure and transparent transactions. Unlike traditional payment systems, D-Ecosystem eliminates the need for intermediaries and connects users directly, allowing for faster and more efficient transactions. But what sets D-Ecosystem apart is its zero-cost structure, making it an attractive option for businesses and individuals alike.
D-Ecosystem is a revolutionised Decentralised blockchain platform that provides an individual set of features and services to its valuable users. The main core of this ecosystem is the D-Chain network, an open-source blockchain network that helps secure and fast transactions with 0% transaction costs.
D-Ecosystem Products:
The D-Ecosystem is born with numerous and wonderful products to attain many benefits. The Products of the D-Ecosystem are as follows:
D-chain: Blockchain network predominantly designed for D-ecosystem for handling the various process like 0 transaction costs, lightspeed transactions, and high privacy with a built-in proof of innocence protocol to prevent money laundering and crime
D-Swap: Seamless exchange platform where the users can swap their tokens with others
D-Wallet: A user-friendly wallet that allows individuals and organisations to securely store, send, and receive digital assets

D-Launchpad is a phenomenal platform with a dashboard of token information, allowing users to sell and buy DCX coin, a native token of the D-Ecosystem.
Transaction cost: D-Chain 0 transaction cost, lightspeed transactions, secure and high privacy
One of the major and predominant features of the D-Ecosystem is minimal transaction costs when compared with other kinds of networks like Ethereum, Polygon, and BSC. Generally, the crypto people might be aware of the transaction costs. A transaction cost is nothing but a particular amount charged to the user while performing crypto transactions. The transaction cost will vary based on the different networks. The transaction cost of the Network is determined based on the traffic of the network. As per the research, the Ethereum network has a high transaction cost when compared to others.
This is the major issue faced by most of the platforms. Hence to overcome this issue, D-Ecosystem is concentrating on developing a platform with a 0% transaction cost. This platform allows the user to enjoy the transaction with minimal transaction costs. This is the major highlight of our D-Ecosystem platform.
In conclusion, the d-ecosystem is an innovative solution that brings a new level of efficiency to the world of transactions. With its zero transaction fee approach, D-Ecosystem eliminates the cost barriers that often prevent individuals and businesses from engaging in financial transactions. Additionally, its seamless network allows for quick and secure transactions, making it an ideal platform for anyone looking to simplify their financial operations. Whether you are a small business owner, an investor, or someone who wants to save money on transaction costs, D-Ecosystem is an excellent choice.
So why not give it a try today and experience the benefits for yourself?

Apparently there are people out there saying D&D is easy to learn and I’m here to tell you: the first time I tried to learn it I slept with the DM instead in some sort of instinctive escape from the difficulty of learning D&D. In retrospect this DM hookup could have been a good gentle place to figure out that I’m not into sleeping with men, but I was so distracted by not doing basic addition for fun that it took me another 7+ years to discover lesbianism. To be clear I think D&D is great! It is especially great when I just sit in the background (or on someone’s lap again I guess, for old time’s sake) drinking a beer and working on a paper. I just would not call it easy to learn, exactly. I should note that it probably helps if you have any motivation whatsoever.
#this is NOT anti D&D this is making fun of ME#important distinction#my niche in this ecosystem is wandering by to deliver snacks and half-assed seductions maybe#mostly snacks

Can we please challenge people to stop saying "D&D" when they're actually referring to concepts which apply to "TTRPGs" or "roleplay" on the whole, because it undermines a whole genre by attributing its importance to one franchise made by a corporate monopoly.
We don't say "Call of Duty" instead of First Person Shooter, or "Candy Crush" instead of Mobile Game so we really shouldn't do that for D&D.
#I see this a LOT and its such bad practice#tell me you've only played within the D&D ecosystem without telling me you've only played within the D&D ecosystem#ttrpg#dnd#d&d#tabletop#game design#gamedev

why did the ray finned fishes win out in terms of speciation and population in the water compared to us lobe finned fishes? did we lobe finners just have a skill issue (or gill issue if you will) and fumble the aquatic niches?
Ooh, what an exciting question! I didn't know the answer myself, but this news article provides an interesting and good (in my opinion) hypothesis for how. The article explains that in the Devonian, the now-extinct class placoderms and lobe-finned fish were the two dominating animal groups of the aquatic world, no doubt closely followed by sharks who also diversified greatly. So, we did in fact thrive and dominate over ray-fins for a while! However, the Hangenberg event, also known as the end-Devonian extinction that took place about 359 million years ago, sadly brought an end to the placoderms as a whole, along with many, many lineages of lobe-finned fishes that used to exist: heck, over 96% of all vertebrate species were lost during this time! With great losses of diversity like this, entire classes of animals gone, well... a power vacuum forms. With only some cartilaginous fishes and ray-finned fishes left, it took them no time to diversify and fill in those previously full niches! Looking at the current diversity of ray-finned fishes, it really doesn't take much to assume that they took this opportunity with stride.
How come sharks didn't quite get as diverse, then? Well... I'm not sure. Perhaps the ray-finned fishes were quicker to reproduce? Maybe bony skeletons are just that much better? Some ponder that a bony skeleton would've been more protective and offered more points of attachment for muscles to allow for more powerful movement. It could also just be that bony fishes can live in freshwater as well as saltwater which allowed them to diversify away from cartilaginous fishes! But these are just guesses.
TL;DR: Us lobe-fins didn't have a gill issue at all — heck, two of of the "fishy" lobe-fin lineages are still alive today after other numerous extinction events! Though, perhaps us tetrapods did in fact develop a literal gill issue soon enough... we were rather quickly on our way to colonise the land and follow in the footsteps of invertebrates during and after the Devonian. In any case, the ray-finned fish just saw an opportunity once a power vacuum emerged, and took it! Super happy for them for taking that chance ngl, clearly it worked out really well for them. Now they're the most diverse group of vertebrates!! Love to see a heartwarming success story of the underdogs winning haha
#some tetrapods seem to have regretted not taking that chance to recolonise the water after the devonian. just look at how many groups of -#tetrapods have returned back to aquatic life!! but the ray-fins were quicker ;)#(granted we are some of the most fearsome predators in the ocean ecosystems now... just look at whales... but thats beside the point.)#(i want to give the fishes a win!!! i think they did indeed win when it comes to vertebrates because holy moly)#asks#kennedy-the-genderfluid-punk#love the name! hope you learned something kennedy! i sure did writing this :D#fish

just had an idea out of nowhere for a d&d campaign that takes place really widespread across the continent? world? whatever and has the players visit a handful of specific areas in different parts of the world so they go to like the jungle and then the desert and then the snow and mountains and then the ocean or w/e and each region has it's own little intricacies and whatnot a little dungeon. a little local mystery. and there's always like a blacksmith and a temple and a druid guild or w/e, and then it turns out eventually that the druids from each region have been communicating and they've been working together to subtly manipulate the wildlife in their ecosystem to essentially wipe out certain areas and take control of the continent and in the boss fight they would all summon creatures from their different specialties so there's like rock golems and polar bears and fish monsters and desert lizard people.
#is this an interesting idea or did i just steal it from something#and it's actually really basic and popular and im just forgetting?#anyway.#i think at least I've had a weird breakthrough in an understanding of how to worldbuild#which is not something I have ever been interested in doing for/via d&d at all#but literally out of nowhere I was like. I've deciphered the code. I know the steps. I see the matrix.#and I think it might be really fun to try to develop names and stories for all these different places#and design combat encounters with thematic monsters based on ecosystem#im a huge fucking nerd#anyway. maybe that would rip.

sixth day at my new school and i didn't sit alone at lunch today 🥳🥳
#woohoo!!#some girls invited me to sit with them so i did and chatted to them and this other guy#some of them are in my classes!! they were all very nice#honestly i was aiming to just try and fit in with the cishet boys and last week when i heard the rumour i was gay i was kinda freaked out#but i've scoped out the situation and it's not unsafe to be out (as bi. not anyone's business i'm trans)#so i realise it's better to just be open and have better chances of finding the right people than living in fear and squashing myself to--#--fit in with the wrong people. bc if i can't be fully myself around someone then why would i want to be good friends with them??#so yar i'll stick with other queer guys and supportive girls. gay guy/straight girl friendships are stereotypical but it's an ecosystem tha#works in a situation like high school tbh#ooo and i guess he was away today but the guy from a couple of my classes who i think is cute is in that group so added bonus#o and actually unrelated but at recess i went to this queer group thing i was invited to by a teacher last week#(recess is first and lunch is sceond)#i wasn't sure if i was going to go (mostly bc of my 'blend in' mindset) but i'm glad i did!! it was pretty nice#mostly just nice to get an idea of 'safe' people and teachers yaknow#'people and teachers' -- those aren't two mutually exclusive categories of being ajdsgjf but ykwim#and if i didn't go then i probably wouldn't have been in the better mindset for being just myself with everyone at lunch#so wahoo yippee :D#now i just needa keep talking to everyone and putting myself out there a bit more and i'll find the right people :)

heyyy so you’ve probably been asked this a gazillion times before, but how is your moto gp knowledge so impressively vast? was there a specific moment where you decided to REALLY get into its lore? tysm for all of your hard work btw(pulling articles, explaining things, etc)!!! 💖🥺
very kind + appreciated!! it honestly just sort of happened over the years... I do always feel like a bit of a fraud when discussing motogp because my understanding of the actual sport is inevitably pretty limited,, like at the end of the day this is very much my second sport. didn't grow up watching it, haven't competed in it myself, don't have the same knowledge base to fall back on. which means I do kinda feel extra compelled to try and actually understand what I'm watching lol, do my due diligence and all that. plus, research is fun!! my level of investment in motogp has definitely ebbed and flowed over the years, obviously currently it's more flowing than ebbing...
but yeah,, anyway, much of this lore research happened during the pandemic, partly because it was the first time I felt like I could splurge on the videopass and 'watching twenty seasons worth of motorcycle racing' is an extremely pandemic-flavoured activity. so that's probably the answer! blame covid. I also think the sport is very rewarding to do lore research for because relatively speaking they do make it pretty easy for you. a few websites/blogs that are leagues better than the equivalent you'd get in Certain Other Sports, some judicious use of the wayback machine and an assortment of invaluable books - plus you actually have a working video archive!! I would shoot someone to have a videopass equivalent in Certain Other Sports, like I get all the complaints and I have plenty of minor quibbles but honestly it's fantastic. for all this talk about motorcycle racing and whatnot, really the most important thing about motogp is that it's the archivist's dream
#also low key the journalists are just like. better. like i hate to prop them up but#oxley obviously but also emmett aka mr motomatters. again i'd shoot someone for more sports writing like that Elsewhere#tennis fucking sucks man we're one of the biggest sports around and our media ecosystem feels like it'd barely be suited to cover padel#//#brr brr#batsplat responds#pandemic is when i watched 2003-05 and went from 'yeah the curse thing is a funny story!! :D'#to 'wait what the fuck hOW is everyone not talking about this all the time'#that was the biggest development really. i'd already thought casey was neat even though i didn't get to see him race#but yeah it's still an odd sport for me because i do feel like i'm held back by just this knowledge gap i'll never be able to breach#which is fun in a way because it's all constantly more novel and mysterious to me... but also kinda frustrating#and i never feel all that well informed#like i got my tennis coach license when i was fourteen - a couple of years before i even watched my first race. so it's all relative y'know#all i've got going for me is my note taking skills and common sense

ok i did all my tasks so i may now view my yarn.
yarn :)
it looks kind of orangey in that photo bc it’s nighttime but the yarn is must stash vespa, which will end up looking like a not-quite-rainbow-order pink-and-blue-forward 12-stripe rainbow, as seen here:
i am going to make it into socks :)
#i honestly forgot i got wind service and otoh it's less satisfying to pet in ball rather than skein form and otoh it's definitely kind of ba#d for my wrists to wind yarn balls since i don't own a ball winder. so. ultimately a good choice#the website claims it's inspired by the colors of the original 1946 vespas but i honestly don't think they look alike#however i don't care. because i crave Colors#box opener#knitting#i like this company's yarns and they have good service so i am perfectly willing to advertise my purchases#especially since surely everyone in the knitting blog ecosystem is familiar given that they were famous Yarn Harlot Tour Socks and so on#i cannot possibly actually extend their reach by any amount.

I don't need to watch this video to know about the strategy of "produce intelligent, thoughtful and creatively stimulating films that appealed to people who wanted movies that were made to be art and not just entertainment in the late 2010s when Marvel and Star Wars were monopolizing the box office"
#coldest take but i think a24 is really good guys. i like what they've been doing lately!#and if that makes me a pretentious elitist snob then so be it#esthetics#oh g-d i also just made a post where i was judgmental of popular music. not beating the pretentious snob allegations#listen someone has to be. for the health of the ecosystem

Today I learned that there's people who do tag with the search results in mind, and those who don't. Which is something I never considered before but this is interesting to learn nonetheless!
#tm speaks#considering those posts that go ''this is not my blog this is my house'' you'd THINK I'd have that idea on lock. but naw#anyways in light of thing no. 1 thing no. 2 that I've learned is that I treat my blog like a library and not my house#never thought a lot about ppl running their blogs differently despite it being right in front of my face for what. 5 years?#so yeah today I learned a lot about the tumblr ecosystem :D#(if you could not tell I am quite dense kgxkgxkgx)
