Just some sketches of my fnaf AU. I'm still working on everything but the main points are that Vincent is still a killer that does not feel remorse and Scott is a cannibal and Vincent's partner in crime. I'll probably make a post going over all the story.

Also these sketches feature @shitsecurityguards Scott and Vincent because I love their designs and in my eyes, they the best and I thought it would be silly if they met.

Anyways yeah! Take the art, I'll post more of this AU because I'm a damn nerd and still stuck in 2015 when these bitches were popular.

just had an idea out of nowhere for a d&d campaign that takes place really widespread across the continent? world? whatever and has the players visit a handful of specific areas in different parts of the world so they go to like the jungle and then the desert and then the snow and mountains and then the ocean or w/e and each region has it's own little intricacies and whatnot a little dungeon. a little local mystery. and there's always like a blacksmith and a temple and a druid guild or w/e, and then it turns out eventually that the druids from each region have been communicating and they've been working together to subtly manipulate the wildlife in their ecosystem to essentially wipe out certain areas and take control of the continent and in the boss fight they would all summon creatures from their different specialties so there's like rock golems and polar bears and fish monsters and desert lizard people.

okay but Muse's comic appearance being a mask/'costume' in Born Again is such a good design choice, and perfectly reflects not only the duality of real-world serial killers, but is also a really good play off of his comic-version's powers.

If Muse is meant to be an uncontrolled void that negates any sensory information about him, making him difficult to perceive, then the choice of him donning a mask is a great interpretation of that.

You're not meant to see Muse. You're not meant to hear him or feel him. He is not meant to exist in any physical way than his 'art'.

But serial killers still exist outside of their murders and their victims. They have regular lives where ordinary people don't know about the blood on their hands.

So, when Muse takes that mask off, he fades into the background. He becomes part of the everyday minutiae; unperceived to be important or relevant by anyone around him.

It's a very good design choice.

Complaining abt Suicide Squad yet again but the fact that they have Waller exposing the alien community to space racist attacks and talking abt how she got to her position through deceit and being a terrible person and stuff is just. Ahsfiwueh JUST SAY YOU DONT KNOW WALLER.

Anyways literally the 3rd mission of the Squad ever (and the first framed as smth Waller picked and not orders from above) was the Squad discrediting and stopping a rogue vigilante who was only arresting POC and funneling white people into white supremacy groups (of which he was the most prominent member) in SUICIDE SQUAD #4. and it's explicitly framed as this mission being personal for Waller that she's hiding from the government bc its illegal like. Guys. Please why are we having her incite (space bc comics) racist attacks now

Also the whole "Amanda got her position through deceit and being a terrible person" NO. she KEPT her position through being shitty and playing complicated political games!!! She wasn't always that way like there is a difference and it is IMPORTANT ppl PLEASEEEE. In Secret Origins #14 we learn Amanda's backstory and she used to be a normal, caring person! Like even after she entered into working in government and politics she wasn't automatically morally bankrupt like please people. She was originally given control of the Squad by Reagan (*sigh* 80s comics...) to distract and get rid of her because she was so successful at pushing progressive social policy in Congress. Acting like she's this static pillar of evil is such a waste of her character and so fucking uninteresting and disrespectful to her arc it drives me MAD.

Like I am NOT saying Waller is all sunshine and rainbows, she fucking SUCKS (said w love <3) but like there's a human being there. It's a progression, she has a character arc like please, DC, please!!! They've fucked up Waller so bad and made her so opaque and uninteresting she can't even be the protagonist of her own story for fucks sake!

Like I don't know how many times I have to scream it until DC hears me or remembers but WALLER IS THE MAIN CHARACTER OF SUICIDE SQUAD. ITS HER BOOK. yet right now she's a cutout to be used as the villain wherever the writers please. Even in her book we get none of her perspective really displayed, no exploration of her thoughts with any kind of understanding of the role she traditionally has played and was made to play in the story.

my dad (professional nerd & screenwriter): you see, she is actually the main character here, since the whole movie was a phantasy that she made up in her mind, and you can sense her presence throughout the whole film without noticing it; for example, all the times they say "there is no band," what they're telling you (and she is telling herself) is this is not real, you're actually watching something that's imagined. that's why the characters start crying, because trough the music they subconsciously understood that their world was fake, made up, that they were not actually there and none of that was happening

I constantly wonder if Wukong and Macaque know the truth about MK before the in show reveals in season four. And I’ve been thinking about this more lately cause I’ve been rewatching the show from start and I’ve been thinking about the first Macaque episode. He continuously tells MK ‘you don’t use a weapon you are the weapon’ and I can’t help but wonder if he’s saying that because he’s projecting or cause he knows what MK is before even MK does or a C all the above lmao.

Like, what if MK was actually made to be a weapon? Maybe Macaque was trying to figure how to use him as one at first and maybe Wukong is trying to keep anyone else from doing just that not just Macaque

But It makes me further wonder, do they know? Like did Wukong specifically seek out MK in the first episode or was that a completely and total coincidence or fate thing.

Did Macaque come trying to steal MK from Wukong just to be a petty little shit or cause he knows more than he’s saying. When Macaque see’s MK flicker in season four for the first time he jerks a little at the sight in surprise. But is it surprise cause he didn’t know or cause he wasn’t expecting MK to know or something along that line.

We know Wukong doesn’t talk much about his past to the others even MK unless he absolutely has to, instead ignoring most of it. And Macaque doesn’t even pretend not to be a secretive little shit. I really hope we get to learn more about MK’s past and what/who he is in season five and also maybe some insight on how much Wukong and Macaque really know

Anyway, its real interesting switching between fics for my two main fandoms, Demon Slayer and Xenoblade Chronicles. I tend to write from Tanjirō or Shulk's pov and while Tanjirō likes to inner monologue Shulk says inner monologue? hold my beer. Bro does not stop thinking and overthinking about everything. I love him but he's making me write stuff that has science/engineer vibes. He's making hypotheses and contemplating weapons designs and subsequently extending scenes far more than originally planned.

It's fun and frustrating at the same time. I enjoy getting into a different mindset ngl and rereading my own work and feeling a difference between the POVs.

It's something she must do, but it's also her biggest passion. If she didn't hunt for a living, she would be an inventor. In my setting, she creates the first portable/throwable grenades and also worked with an orcish smith to make her "hawk's eye", a mask that uses a complex system of lenses to heighten one's vision in the dark and doubles as binoculars for sniping and snooping.
