This is a real message sent out on social media by Donald Trump and retweeted by the White House, amplifying the fact that it is an official statement from the President of the United States --- leader of the "free world".
Notorious dictators with insane personality cults like Turkmenbashi or Emperor Bokassa would see this and say, "Declaring yourself above the law is textbook authoritarianism, but the constipated glare in the portrait is a bit over-the-top."
I don't know about you guys, but it seems like allowing Trump to run out the clock and just walk away unscathed after being charged with 91 felonies might have given him the idea he's untouchable. Fortunately Congress is a co-equal branch of government and will strongly defend the powers granted to it by the Constitution in order to preserve the sacred separation of powers carefully constructed by the Founders, right? Hopefully there isn't some sort of Supreme Court decision that gives him broad immunity against prosecution for crimes he might commit as President.

This is beyond parody.
Grifter Billy McFarland, the crook behind the infamous Fyre Festival, has teamed up with fellow scammer Donald Trump. McFarland served years in prison for his fraud. Perhaps he can tell Trump what to expect.
Remember Billy McFarland, the “entrepreneur” and former Fyre Fest fraudster who scammed festivalgoers by putting on a supposed luxury music festival in 2017 only for it to turn out to be a fraudulent enterprise that saw punters stranded on an island in the Bahamas and earned him prison time after he pleaded guilty to multiple counts of fraud?   Well, according to Rolling Stone, he’s trying to hook US presidential candidate (and fellow convicted fellon) Donald Trump up with rappers, in a bid to reach and appeal to more Black voters during the campaign trail. Yes, it’s as icky, cynical, and depressingly on brand as it sounds.   McFarland allegedly approached the team of Detroit rapper Icewear Vezzo ahead of Trump’s rally there, while also taking credit for connecting Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow with Trump ahead of a rally in the Bronx.
Apparently Trump thinks that McFarland, a white boy from New Jersey, can help him win the votes of younger African Americans.
One source told Rolling Stone that there is a list of hip-hop artists Trump wants to endorse him or even perform at his campaign events. However, “at this time, none of them have.”  “There is nothing more on brand for a convicted felon like Donald Trump than recruiting another convicted felon to join his campaign just in time for the Republican National Convention,” Democratic National Committee spokesperson Alex Floyd told TMZ, “which is shaping up to be just as much of a dumpster fire as Fyre Fest.”  If you need a further reminder of his trainwreck CV, it was immortalised in two damning documentaries: Fyre Fraud and Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened.
As long as he's enlisting losers like McFarland, here are some other people I think Trump should seek out for help with his run for the White House:
The folks who recently ran the disastrous Conservative Party campaign in the UK which resulted in Labour returning to power.
The creators of New Coke.
The Russian military strategists who planned to conquer Ukraine in a "three-day special operation".

MISSOURI PROPOSES ‘DONALD TRUMP’ BILL ALLOWING FELONS TO RUN FOR OFFICE
In December 2024, Missouri State Representative Michael Davis introduced the “Donald J. Trump Election Qualification Act,” aiming to permit individuals with felony convictions to run for state and local offices. This proposal seeks to repeal a 2015 Missouri law that bars felons from candidacy in such elections. Under current Missouri law, individuals convicted of felonies are prohibited from…

Imagine the 77 million morons who voted for this. And the worst part is because they live in an echo chamber and have poor reasoning skills they don't even know they are brainwashed.

Republicans, in their crusade to restrict voting as much as they can get away with, are opposed to letting anybody vote who has been convicted of a felony. Floridians passed a ballot measure a few years ago allowing felons who have completed their sentences to vote, but if Trump is convicted before 05 November 2024 he cannot vote in Florida in next year's presidential election.
Florida doesn’t allow people who are convicted of a felony to vote, although, depending on the crime, once a sentence is fully served the individual’s voting rights can be automatically restored and they are allowed to re-register, according to Michael Morley, an associate law professor at Florida State University College of Law. In 2018, voters in the state approved a ballot measure that allowed some felons to regain their voting rights after completing their sentence. Just a year later, however, Gov. Ron DeSantis passed a law that required these individuals to additionally pay off all financial obligations before becoming eligible to vote. Individuals who register to vote but are ineligible could face criminal penalties, according to the Legal Defense Fund.
If Trump is the GOP presidential candidate and is found guilty of any of the charges he's been indicted for, would Gov. Ron DeSantis send his election police to Mar-a-Lago to make sure Trump doesn't vote? 🤔 Trump is on trial for federal crimes and DeSantis doesn't have the power to pardon him.
We need to make sure that Trump gets the speedy trial he deserves.
Special Counsel Jack Smith said last week he would seek a “speedy trial” for the former President, which according to the Speedy Trial Act of 1974, means a trial must begin within 70 days of when the indictment was filed. If this occurs, a trial would begin well before the 2024 presidential election.
It will be interesting to see if Trump's situation sparks calls for voting reform for convicted felons from the MAGA crowd.

I think that in the future when the US court for Exy is first announced and the entire internet is talking about the roster, some reporter will go up to Neil and be like “so how does Kevin feel about being on a team with so many gay athletes? between you and Minyard, Alvarez and Dermott, and Knox and Moreau, there are three gay couples on the US team, some fans are speculating that it is perhaps too many—“
and then Neil cuts him off and goes “yeah, and between me and Jean there are two children of mobsters on the fbi watchlist. Between Andrew and Jeremy there are two convicted felons, and between me, Kevin, and Jean, there are three former perfect court members who said fuck that and got our tattoos removed or replaced. We can all count buddy”
Neil loses his press privileges before practices even start
