On September 10, 1977, The All-New Super Friends Hour premiered. New characters were created for the show including The Wonder Twins, Samurai, Apache Chief, and Black Vulcan. Black Vulcan was designed as a knock off of Black Lightening so they wouldn't have to pay Tony Isabella royalties. The fact that NONE of the ppl neo made illusions of would actually blame ruby (except Ironwood I think)

Like. Pyrrha would break seeing an illusion of herself beat down ruby. She KNEW she was going to die during the fall and she'd NEVER blame ruby

Penny would've been FURIOUS at neo for using her against her best friend bc she CHOSE to pass on the maiden powers to winter

Ozpin would've absolutely reassured ruby time and time again that NOTHING is her fault. That she did the best she could. And the fact that his illusions words also applies to how he sees himself... ouch

Even ROMAN wouldn't have blamed ruby! He KNEW he was the bad guy! He knew ruby was just trying to stop him and help people! And frankly he'd be annoyed for ruby taking ANY credit lol

I just realized what I love so much about Maxton Hall: Ruby is smart! and not just like book smart… but actually likeable sensible character with rational working brain smart. Unlike Belly and Jackie who constantly acted like the dumbest biches under the sun

((Spoilers for Wings of Fire Book 8: Escaping Peril))  A friend convinced me to read Wings of Fire last month, and once I got through the early book awkwardness I ended up instantly hooked. I proceeded to finish the entire series over the course of February and started filling my sketchbook with dragons. This is the first (but probably not the last) fruit of those labors. Peril's interactions with her nephew were incredibly sweet so I ended up just drawing a playdate!! A totally safe one. With NO FIRE. Definitely not a burned toy. Cliff's mom would NEVER allow that. I keep on finding new media to be obsessed with and I'm going to keep drawing art for it xD Apologies in advance
