a/n: i love cissnei so fricking much, i'm not a single bit normal about her (: she's just the sweetest <3

cissnei noticed that you were a bit clingy when the two of you first met. but it wasn't until she started dating you and learned more of your past that she found out you struggle with abandonment issues

while she found your clinginess cute and endearing, she now feels sorry for not noticing anything sooner

cissnei always makes sure to let you know exactly where is and where she'll be going

sometimes, she's gone for days, on a mission with the turks. but she always assures you that she'll come back to you!

cissnei makes an effort to bring you little gifts too, to show you that she's been thinking about you, even when the two of you were separated

whenever something happens that upsets you, cissnei rushes to your side to comfort you – even if she has to leave her work behind!

she'll hold you in her arms, playing with your hair as she reminds you how much you mean to her and that she'd never abandon you!

Alright. So, I am 🪨'd and have a very important ask.

Our favorite trio + dynamic duo each get assigned with an emotional support Turk. Reno, Rude, Cissnei, Elena, and Tseng get stuck with who and why?

Angeal is paired with Reno, mostly because Angeal has experience bouncing off of loudmouthed redheads. It's not terribly relaxing for him, mostly because Reno keeps pushing his buttons. But at least Reno isn't an arrogant idiot like Genesis. Just a...normal idiot.

Zack is NOT allowed with Cissnei, as they're too busy flirting with each other. He is given Tseng due to their ability to work well together. And Tseng helps Zack see the bigger picture on a lot of issues, even if Zack finds him to be kind of a stick in the mud.

Genesis is given Rude, who efficiently and quietly curbstomps so much of Genesis' daily bullshit it's not even funny. Genesis chafes at this for a while, but comes to gradually appreciate Rude overall. He can vent and whine and complain all day long and Rude just listens. It's pretty cathartic.

Sephiroth is given Elena of all people to work with. This proves to be surprisingly wholesome in the long run. While Sephiroth is a task master with little patience for Elena scampering clumsily about, he'd be lying if he didn't find her enthusiasm kind of charming. She's one of the few people who can actually get him to laugh.

Cloud and Cissnei are paired off. Cloud's a bit shy and squirmy with a pretty girl overseeing him, but Cissnei is actually very friendly and gentle, surprisingly relaxing for a nervous wreck like Cloud to be around.
