As you were choosing what to order, a man came up to your table, and your beautiful stranger immediately moved to take a seat next to you. The gesture was protective, and you involuntarily moved closer to his body, knowing he has been acting as your own personal shield.

"I believe this is yours," the new guy slid your phone across the table.

"How did you?.. Who are you?" you were terrified again at that point but your beautiful stranger quickly rested his hand on top of your shoulder.

"I never had a chance to properly introduce myself, did I? I'm Haipeng, and this is my brother Chihe. He used to look after me in a similar way when I was at school, so he knows those boys. And those boys know him a bit too well."

"And they will never even look your way again," said the older brother, a mysterious man in a mask.

"Thank you. Is there any way I can return your... favor?"

"No need," his eyes smiled, but his mask still stayed on.

The silence was heavy. I had two young men around who were either really good or really bad, and I couldn't tell which ones they were just yet.

"Should I just order something I think you might like?" Peng probably saw me looking at the menu but not really reading it.

"Yes, please, I can't really concentrate."

"I can see that," he chuckled and called the waiter.

By the time our food arrived, all three of us were joking a bit and smiling at each other. Peng took off his mask as soon as he saw the waiter coming with our food, and so did I, but Chihe didn't even move.

"So, are you not hungry or something?" I was concerned that Chi would feel left alone.

"He doesn't..." Pengi started but was cut off by the older boy very quickly.

"I'm not hungry."

"I see," I was puzzled by the sudden change of moods and pretended to wipe something off my phone.

"Would you be ok with me just sitting here?" Chi saw my confusion.

"Oh, absolutely! Whatever makes you comfortable! I just don't think it feels good to just sit here when everyone else is enjoying their food. Maybe just a coffee or something?" I looked up at him.

"You know, if you don't want to take your mask off, just get like a long straw or something, just not to feel isolated? It's only a suggestion!" you put your hands up like you were going to surrender, but in a joking way, of course.

"She's good, huh?" Chihe smirked, looking at Peng, and the younger one nodded, unexpectedly delighted.

"I appreciate it," Chi looked you in the eyes, and his stare went deep down into your soul, just like his brother's.

 

"I need to hurry, the last train leaves in 15 minutes," I looked at my phone, seemingly undamaged, which was surprising, knowing what it has presumably been through.

"Enough subway for you today, I have a car, and we'll take you home," Chihe sounded like he really meant it.

"And next time, when you need to go somewhere after dark, please call me. No charge. I already put both of our phone numbers in your contacts."

"Oh, I..."

"That was not a question," said Chihe and looked me in the eyes, so I couldn't do anything but nod.

"Good girl," you tried to hold back a squeak, but a part of it got out anyway. His "good girl" woke something in you. Something you never even knew existed. You were happy to be a good girl for him. And it definitely didn't go unnoticed.

oh yeah and I also redownloaded gen/shin (I say this in a disappointed kinda tone) and I guesss i f/o cy/no now funny thing is I have not done the sume/ru quests at all yet DUDE this censoring is so annoying but yeah. I was thibking of a self insert and went heeyy this is kinda familiar

So my gen/shin s/i to ship with cy/no is from li/yue but came to study at the aka/demiya.

Anyway he's a Dendro either sword or bow user (but if bow he uses it like chil/de LOL) and he was assigned to work with tigh/nari a lot and that's kinda how they also got to know cy/no

Cuz the Dendro green that comes to mind is kinda ugly lololo. As for the fit idfk but there's heavy inspo from xing/qiu whos kinda like me for real... (off topic but xq + gam/ing = me)

I was also thinking it'd be funny if they both clearly like eahc other but at some point unspokenly decided to make it a competition to see how long they can tease each other to confess first but they always play off the idea of officially dating when asked by others. But they're affectionate towards each other in their own ways but also never say ily or anyth but they also get jealous over others. I know cy/no is a sincere and honest person but maybe wren wanted to get back at him for something so it was Clear they are really playing with each other but also like each other. So it's not like they're leaving the other hanging, they both know lol. Idk where I'm going with this maybe I need to actually idk cough consume the source material

This Is A Gay Asian Rant About BL Comments Made By Some Queer Westerners I See Sometimes.

So you know of those gays (usually white) that made dumb tiktok dancing to list of countries that legalized same sex marriage and list of countries that discriminate against LGBTQIA+ poeple as a way to say something racist. yeah i kinda got the same vibes from some comments regard how asian BL is homophobic just cause they don't live up to queer western standard. look, i'm not saying that some BLs and their creators don't deserve criticism regard how they capitalized/exploited queerness for an easy cash grab.

But people need to understand that Asian countries despite recent progress are still very much culturally conservatives. so when people says that thai bl is homophobic and all the characters looks like bunch of straight guys, which is true for some olders thai BLs i'm not gonna denied that. but after all this time and newer BLs generally being very queer and most of creators being out queer themself and poeple still making these comments, i'm annoyed.

And don't get me start on the actors. you don't know them! why are you making assumption and calling them queerbaiter just cause they acts in bl. like maybe they're straight, maybe they're not but what they're definitely doing is making queer content for you know, queer people here. so when you made halfass comments about their sexuality what do you think that made other queer people who still in the closet feels. and when you add the nationality to that, "these thai bl pair are this and that, this korean actor is so ungrateful for his bl past", etc. when our societies are still very much still in progress regard LGBTQIA+ acceptance. it make us living here feels fucking awful like somehow we're lesser queer than people in the west just cause we don't have citibank at pride or some shit.

And the shittiest in my humbled opinion are comments regard censored chinese bls. people do know like, that the creators making these bls are risking their livelihoods for this. that these shows getting make at all are miracles. yes it sucked that they're censored but they're still very much queer shows making by queer people who want to express thier queerness despite the chinese government being the chinese government. when people dimissing these shows as not belonging in queer media, you're also dimissing their creators and audiences as not belonging in the community.

Look what i want to say is that we're trying our best over here, and maybe our best are not up to your liking. the ways we talk and express our queerness maybe still can be perceived as problematic by western queer standard. but these media are our house and you're the guests. for people aren't shitty we appreciated that you're here engaging and loving our media, this is your home too and you're welcome in it. i can speak for myself that i very much love being here on tumblr and interacting with people from all over the world who love BL. but for people who are being shitty sometimes about asian bl.

You really weren't looking around, found a book on your phone that you downloaded ages ago and started reading it until you heard a male voice too close for your liking.

"Hello, beautiful, what are you reading?" said voice 1, coming even closer,

"I'm more interesting than the little book you are reading, why don't you look at me?" said voice 2, and at this point, you were absolutely terrified and couldn't even look up from the screen. You definitely didn't know those people, and they were definitely up to no good.

One of them snatched the phone out of your hands, and this was when you finally looked up. To your horror, you saw the whole gang in front of you. Five boys wearing sports clothes, tall, not buff, although undoubtedly stronger than you were. And one of them was holding your phone so high up that you wouldn't be able to reach it even if you jumped.

"Shall we have some fun, beautiful?"

"What the fuck do you think you are doing to my girlfriend?" the doors of the train opened, and people started coming in and out. You couldn't believe your eyes, but this was your beautiful stranger. He didn't hesitate even for a second, grabbing you in his arms and pushing you close to him, and the five gang members ran away while the train was still on the platform.

"Are you ok?" he gently strocked your hair as your face was practically burried in his chest, and you slowly broke the hug.

"I'm... yes, I'm ok. They didn't touch me, but they ran away with my phone," he nodded, took a phone out of his pocket and texted someone.

"Why are you out alone after dark? Especially on the subway?" his caring voice, although quite low, was ringing in your ears.

"Well, I was going home..." you started, but got cut off by the guy.

"You should have gotten a taxi."

"That's a bit too expensive," he held you closer for no reason, people were not coming in or out. The door was closed, but it still felt nice.

"Where do you live?" were you supposed to trust him? No, but you did. And you told him your address.

"Could I take you out to have dinner first or something to drink and then get you home safely?"

"You don't have to... You've saved me already, so..."

"Let's go then," he helped you off the train, holding your hand like you were his girlfriend for real, and it somehow felt right.

You actually thought you were going to eat at a local McDonald's or some street food place. (Although what you should have been thinking was that it's not the best idea to go out at night with someone you don't know), but he got you to a very cozy little restaurant with dim lights, quiet music, and lovely waiters.

"Hey, thanks for stepping up for me, by the way. I don't even know what they would have done with me if you were not there..."

"Yeah, we'll have to make sure that never happens again. Please choose something. My treat," he slid the menu closer to you.

"No wait, I can pay for myself!"

"I never said you couldn't, did I? I said my treat."
