i love overanalyzing so introducing him like this could mean- he is painted with and his background is mostly red(flag), but the background exactly behind him is green(flag). Maybe this signifies how he is surrounded by toxicity, and negative emotions yet he will remain positive. Or maybe it means that he is hiding the green flag side of him under and around the red flags. Or that its his choice to choose in this series if he will remain painted in red or will he lean towards green?
