What Are the Most Common Behavioral Disorders in Children?
The most common behavioral disorders in children are:
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects children's ability to pay attention, control their impulses, and be still. Symptoms of ADHD can include fidgeting, talking excessively, difficulty staying on task, and being easily distracted.
ADHD is often treated with meditation, therapy, or both. Medication can help to improve attention and focus, while therapy can help children learn how to manage their symptoms and develop coping skills.
Check out Guided Bedtime Meditations for Children with ADHD and Anxiety
Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD).
ODD is a behavioral disorder characterized by a persistent pattern of uncooperative, defiant, and hostile behavior towards authority figures. Children with ODD may often argue with adults, refuse to follow the rules, and deliberately annoy others.
ODD is often treated with behavioral therapy. This type of therapy helps children learn how to control their behavior and develop better coping skills.
Conduct disorder (CD).
CD is a more serious behavioral disorder than ODD. Children with CD often engage in aggressive, destructive, or criminal behavior. They may start fights, steal, vandalize property, or hurt others.
The CD is often treated with medication, therapy, and behavior modification. Medication can help to reduce aggression and impulsive behavior, while therapy can help children learn how to manage their emotions and develop better social skills.
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
ASD is a developmental disorder that affects a child's communication and social skills. Children with ASD may have difficulty understanding and responding to social cues and may have restricted interests and repetitive behaviors.
ASD is often treated with early intervention services, education, and therapy. Early intervention services can help children develop their communication and social skills. In contrast, education and therapy can help them learn how to cope with their challenges and live a fulfilling life.
These are just some of the most common behavioral disorders in children. Many other behavioral disorders exist, and each child will experience symptoms differently. If you are concerned that your child may have a behavioral disorder, it is essential to talk to your doctor. They can help you assess your child's symptoms and make a diagnosis.
Early diagnosis and treatment can help to improve your child's quality of life. For better and traditional treatments introducing a bedtime meditation like Cool Koala can be a game changer.

brain vomit....When Mizi sees Sua I wonder if a part of her feels angry for what she did in round 1, in the way Sua haunts her perspective, Mizi sees her as her 'antagonist', and it's her own personal torture having to see her again even when she's gone. In the way Luka was taunting her, reminding her of her own naivety, she felt that when Sua holding her face so tenderly, the bitterness was the same. Leaving her in the dark for all that time just to let it all crash down on Mizi when the time came, her sacrifice, her betrayal was just that and Mizi is left alone knowing that she and Sua had never been on the same page.
And with that sadness, rage, and overwhelming grief culminated all in one she projects that into her outburst on Luka, for playing with her feelings, pushing her to the limit like this, and on Sua, for not being honest with her in the first place. for abandoning her.
#alien stage#alnst#alien stage mizi#alien stage sua#alnst sua#alnst mizi#will crustyfloor ever stop yeeping over doomed yuri nah#this is a story all about grief they said. so here i am thinking about how each of the characters grieve#how similiar mizi and till are--they have been basically betrayed abandoned in ways they probably couldnt have fathomed before.#to Till it's happening all over again#To Mizi it's like she's a child throwing her first temper tantrum because she doesn't know what else to do#Is it too much of a stretch to believe Mizi had some resentment after the fact like this?#Of course. it probably wasnt long term but. for a little?#mizisua

I don't know how I got sucked into Slugterra lore considering I haven't watched this show since I was 13 but it's 4 am and ???????????????????????
What I wasn't prepared to learn - at the ripe age of 22, is that apparently JUNJIE IS CANONICALLY QUEER?????
AM I BEING LIED TO, WHERE WAS THIS IN THE SHOW, HELP???????
For some context, the only reason I learned this was cause I randomly stumbled onto some Slugterra shipping discourse on tiktok - long story do not ask - and it was like oh god you can't ship Eli with Junjie, Junjie is THIRTY FIVE - and number 1. I did not realize people shipped characters in Slugterra bc last time I was aware of this show I was 13 and stupider than most and 2. THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN HE'S 35????? HE DID NOT LOOK LIKE A 35 YEAR OLD, but if he is Dear Lord 3. and then I GOOGLED IT and y'all gave me a heart attack, I think Junjie is still 15, I'm SORRY but if you get mind controlled for 20 years at the age of 15, and then have no memories of those 20 years, and your body also didn't age during the 20 years you were mind controlled, functionally, you're probably a 15 year old that got yoinked 20 years into the future??? Poor kid. NONE OF THAT MATTERS, WHAT DO YOU MEAN JUNJIE IS QUEER THO
#answers????#i need answers???????#my 13 year old self demands it she bangs on the steering wheel of my brain like a three year old having a temper tantrum#you telling me junjie could've been the queer rep i was looking for as a child if i just had been more OBSERVANT?#when i tell you i haven't thought about this show in literal years and yet#slugterra#junjie slugterra#eli slugterra#junjie x eli??????#what is HAPPENING#i've gone through the five stages of grief with this dive

Let’s take a moment to appreciate the body language in this scene: the rest of the team (minus Rossi) has an upright posture and their hands are placed on the desk in front of them. JJ, Emily and Hotch use a hand clasp gesture while Penelope and Derek opt for the ‘one hand over the other’ variation. These gestures generally display an attempt at self-restraint of some sort - mainly a reaction to frustration, anger or anxiety, and also indicate the intention of putting more distance between oneself and the other person(s) involved. Rossi uses what is known as the ‘steeple hands’ pose, an indication that he has a confident attitude or is very confident about the outcome of the situation and may also try to convey a feeling of superiority; the lowered steeple is usually observed when the steepler is listening, rather than speaking. But what about Spencer? His expression is defiant, he’s leaning back on his chair and he’s sitting in a ‘figure four leg lock’ stance... which, according to experts, is one of the most dominant positions someone can assume without manifesting openly aggressive intentions, since it also indicates that the subject feels both argumentative and defensive at the same time.

Spider waking one day, going outside and seeing his dad just causing absolutel mayhem
jake and neytiri are trying to kill him cause they think the act has finally broken, tonowari and ronal (who know whats going through his head at least a little and have sympathy for him) are trying to pry the sully's from, him from himself before he can do any bodily harm.
its a real 'god is dead, the house is on fire' type situation.
spider would take one look at it, sigh, and walk back into his hut, because he doesn't have the energy so early in the morning.
(he does go outside eventually when he hears, frankly cartoonish, screeching from quaritch, as his mother is nearly dragging him into what can only be described as a time out)
#I just love the idea of recom quaritch being some weird collage of newborn/teen/grumpy old man because of how the whole cloning thing works#so any amount of petty conflict has him acting like a child#and the mom in ronal comes out when she's dealing with him when he's like that#spider socorro#miles socorro#miles spider socorro#avatar the way of water#avatar 2#quaritch#miles quaritch#ronal#tonowari#ronal has no patience with him#though she does have sympathy#the poor guys going through it#but he will not throw a temper tantrum before breakfast and get away with it#hi'i'tsyil te fkew'weopx tonowari'itan

5 Strategies for Managing Children's Temper Tantrums
Most parents have felt the frustration of watching their child cry uncontrollably. Parenting can be a tumultuous experience, with temper tantrums often being one of the most difficult and unpredictable challenges.
Whether your child is throwing a tantrum while shopping for a toy or in the comfort of your home, knowing how to respond calmly and effectively is essential. Tantrums are a normal part of childhood development.
Here are five practical strategies to help you manage your child's temper tantrums, allowing you to handle these challenging situations with confidence.
Understanding Why Tantrums Happen
Tantrums are a common part of growing up, especially in children aged 1 to 4. They occur as young kids are still learning to communicate and often struggle to express their feelings and needs. Common reasons for tantrums can include frustration, hunger, tiredness, and being overwhelmed.
Both boys and girls experience tantrums, particularly between ages 2 and 3. At this stage, they start to learn words but have limited language skills.
To grasp why tantrums occur, think about trying to convey your feelings in a language you don’t understand. The stress of not being able to communicate can lead to an outburst. This is similar to what young children experience.
What Triggers Tantrums?
Several factors can lead to tantrums. Here are some common triggers:
Frustration: Struggling to achieve a goal or obtain something they want can result in frustration.
Hunger: When kids are hungry, they are more likely to have emotional outbursts.
Tiredness: Fatigue can reduce a child’s ability to handle stress.
Overstimulation: Loud sounds, bright lights, or crowded places can overwhelm them.
Desire for Independence: Kids wanting to do things themselves but being unable to can feel frustrating.
Communication Challenges: Limited vocabulary makes it hard for children to express their feelings.
Seeking Attention: Sometimes, kids throw tantrums to gain attention from parents or caregivers.
Routine Changes: Unexpected shifts in routine can make children feel insecure and cause tantrums.
Physical Discomfort: Being uncomfortable, whether due to temperature or illness, can lead to outbursts.
Can Tantrums Be Reduced?
While it’s impossible to eliminate all tantrums, as they are a natural part of growing up, there are steps you can take to decrease their frequency and severity. Here are a few strategies:
Establish Routines Consistency: Set a daily schedule with regular times for meals, naps, play, and bedtime. Predictable routines help children feel safe and lower the chances of tantrums caused by fatigue or hunger.
Transitions: Alert your child before you change activities. Simple phrases like, “In five minutes, we’ll clean up,” can help them adjust.
Clear Instructions: Use straightforward language to communicate your expectations. For example, before shopping, explain the rules, such as staying close to the cart and not requesting toys.
Positive Reinforcement: Recognize and reward good behavior to encourage positive actions. Acknowledging their efforts can inspire them to continue behaving well.
Identify and Manage Triggers Observe Patterns: Notice situations or environments that tend to lead to tantrums. If your child often has meltdowns when hungry, keep snacks on hand.
Prevent Overstimulation: Limit time spent in overly stimulating environments, such as crowded or noisy places, to avoid overwhelming your child.

Also, if you "support and respect autistic people" but use infantilizing language against people in arguments, let alone refuse to acknowledge or change it when you're called out, then you don't actually support and respect autistic people
#you dont have to agree with every (autistic) person#but if you resort to accusing the other person of having a temper tantrum or start speaking to them like theyre a child when they arent#you are parroting the infantilization we face and thats still ableism#ableism is still ableism when you direct it at someone you dont like!#autistic#actually autistic#autism#id love if ppl could stop and reflect on their ableist language this disability pride month but oh fucking well i guess

At what age does hearing your parents talk shit about you behind your back stop feeling like being hit in the chest with a hammer?
#cause it's not 27...#and now watch them ask me to go to a concert with them later tonight and throw a temper tantrum when I refuse and make me feel like shit#I feel like a child#they'll never take accountability for what they did to me and what they turned me into it's all my fault that I'm like this#cause not allowing your child to go out#(other than for school or accompanied by them) till they're 18 surely has no impact on one's development...#personal

It's not that I don't believe Oratrice couldn't be tempered with
I'm more wondering how you'd do that
It's not like swapping a gear or two in a machine
The thing is like AI with a bit more complications
Do you just "feed" information to it prior to influence its judgement? Let's say it would accept that information. But why would you make it so it would listen to anything outside of trial?
Also
Childe
Can you stop doing Foul Legacy at ant inconvenience? Like he is all about "love crossing blades with strong opponents" but all he does is summon Mahoraga at any inconvenience
No wonder he is still shit with a bow.
True.
If it's AI, it's either done by adversarial attacks (spray Childe with some guilty pixels) or yes, by swapping (metaphorical) gears.
The first isn't that different from 'hurr durr primordial sea traces' just with an extra step, the second... If Oratrice is the old Archon's consciousness this probably can't be done at all?
maybe Childe just pissed off enough oceanids while levelling
Maybe forging the outcome in the last moment? Someone was in the reactor room (I am not sorry) while the trial was going on then (they could have fed it extra data too). Doesn't seem too plausible either.
I'm bad at analyzing lore like this so I can only think from a narrative viewpoint.
Childe just randomly being connected would be bad writing. Someone framed him. Knowing/suspecting the outcome.
Not having hints allowing us to solve the mystery would be bad writing too, it's the whodunit expanstion. So I doubt it's something about the technical details we don't know yet.
So I'll keep it simple and lean towards the primordial sea connection (the question is then who could have known about it) and no tampering with the machine itself.
Also do we have the familiar voice Lyney heard in the secret room accounted for? Was it Cowell? Or was it dropped?
Maybe I'll have something to say once I go through the world quests. They usually have important lore. Maybe we do know the Oratrice technical details and I'm just not there yet.
*
Childe.
Can't stop won't stop. That seemed more like desperation than inconvenience to me though.
#FL is his version of temper tantrum#truly admirable (sarcastic)#childe#tartaglia#fontaine spoilers#I bet it's charlotte#charlotte framed him for the sake of good story#*inhales naku weed*
