Happy 10 year anniversary to the greatest film ever made!

My brother and I have watched this terrible, terrible movie every year since it came out. Sometimes more than once. We can quote most of it by heart. It lived on our DVR for about 7 of those years, and after it disappeared (our DVR sometimes purges itself idk) our local library inexplicitly got the DVD. So we have never seen a year without Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever. And I hope we never do. I hope we find a way to watch this bad movie for many years to come. Anyways these are doodles of some of our favorite quotes from the film. If you've ever met us, you'd know that "Why didn't we take the Camaro" is part of our lexicon. Anyways I can't reccomend this movie enough go watch it rn.

Happy Haunts

Melissa Schemmenti is a tough cookie. Until she watches a horror movie.

When you got to work on this particular stormy Halloween you didn’t expect to run around the entire school looking for a child dressed as Thanos, but here you are dressed in your best Captain Carter costume going through the halls with Melissa.

“Okay this stagnant chocolate smell is making me wanna barf.” You groan bringing your arm up to cover your nose.

“This kid thrives on chaos that’s for damn sure.” The redhead nods eyeing you slyly. Your toned arms were on full display in your tight shirt, the material complimenting your body well. “So, what are your plans for tonight, Cap?”

Chuckling you glance at the scarlet witch with a smile. “Well, I’m third wheeling with Jacob and Zach. We’re going to a haunt and I’m almost certain Jacob will run out. What are your Halloween plans with Mr. Year round candy guy?”

Having a crush on a coworker was hard, but it made it even more difficult knowing she was dating someone, especially a guy that was so irritatingly nice like Gary.

Melissa chuckles, immediately sobering at your question. “Gary? He’s a nice guy, but it didn’t work out.” She shrugs.

“Oh.” Is all you can say. That was new information and you felt bad for thinking it, but you were glad it hadn’t worked out between the two. Maybe you could grow some guts and finally ask the redhead out.

After following trails of candy wrappers and chocolate baby Thanos is found by Chad, and his reign of terror over Abbott is finished. Now in the break room after dismissal you sit with your plastic shield on the table with a cup of coffee in hand watching the rain splatter the window.

“Hey Captain,” Melissa gets your attention, purse slung over her shoulder, “How’s about you let the scaredy cats go to the haunted house and you come get scared with me?”

“Are you calling yourself scary, Mel? ‘Cause I don’t buy it.” You tease grabbing your own bags ready to leave. The idea of spending more time outside of work with Melissa had your heart fluttering in your ribcage. The little crush you had since you started teaching at Abbott went from a spark to a roaring fire fast, and now, thanks to class prep and staff meetings. it may be time to act.

“We can hand out candy and watch something scary.” Crimson lips turn into a smile that you’ve only ever seen on the Cheshire Cat.

“What kind of wine should I bring?”

“Red, six o’clock. Don’t be late.” She shoots you a smile over her shoulder.

She might as well be a real witch with the hold she has on you already. In the couple hours you had between work and Melissa’s, you went home to freshen up, opting to stay in your costume for now and being a change of clothes for later just in case the night went late.

At six o’clock on the dot you knock on the paper ghost covered door with a bottle of red wine in gloved hand, chuckling at the sound of scared squeals from kids down the street. “Let me in there’s monsters out here!” You joke.

When the door opens Melissa’s there in all her scarlet witch glory sans her boots. Taking in the sight you can’t help but smile. “Oh my god, Mel.” You laugh adoringly. “Without the boots you’re just adorable. You don’t have the threatening witch look.”

The redhead rolls her eyes adoringly opening the door wider. “Quiet, muscles. I’m giving my feet a break before the kids start coming.”

Following her in you close the door kicking your boots off already enjoying the warmth and smell of the house.

“What’s that smell? My mouth is watering.”

Cape flowing behind her the redhead goes to the oven letting out a wave of warm air as she pulls out a pan of pizza.

“Margherita mozzarel.” She smiles sliding the colorful pizza onto the wooden tray.

You shake your head with a smile moving to wash your hands at the sink. “How did you manage that in just two hours?”

“Magic, hon.” She winks rotating the tray as she cuts into the dough, your breath catching in your throat.

“Where are your glasses?” You hum reaching for the wine bottle trying to distract yourself.

“Right here,” her voice is soft, her hand even softer as she holds onto your arm to reach past you to the cupboard. Bringing two glasses out between her fingers Melissa smiles setting them on the counter beside you. It’s like she was doing it on purpose.

Dinner eaten and two glasses of wine in, you and Melissa are chuckling away on the front porch handing candy out to the kids. When you see her shiver slightly from the cool air, you wrap your arm around her shoulders gently running your thumb over her skin. “These rugrats are slowing down, feel like going back in?” You ask knowing she has a movie planned.

“Yeah,” Melissa smiles warmly at you, standing up with an empty candy bowl. “Let’s see how long you can last.”

Your breath catches in your throat, eyes wide as you duck your head, all of a sudden very worried about tripping as you follow her into the house.

“You know, these movies can get scary.” She teases you.

“Yeah,” you chuckle nervously, “yeah, movies.”

As you change out of your costume in Melissa’s bathroom, you lean against the door taking a breath. She was teasing you, that’s all it was. You two were having a fun night as friends. Clad in your sweatpants and a Flyers t-shirt you meet Melissa back in the dim living room chuckling when you see what’s ready to go on tv.

“This all you got Schemmenti?” You tease sitting next to her, Laurie strode paused on the tv screen.

“Hey, Michael is horrifying okay.” She argues sprinkling the flavor seasoning over her popcorn.

“There’s no way you’re afraid of these movies, Mel.”

“I’m not,” she scoffs playing it off, patting the cushion next to her, “I’m thinking about you. Now sit your cute ass down.”

Rolling your eyes you sit shoulder to shoulder as the eerie music starts, smiling when you catch Melissa looking at you.

“Watch the movie, scaredy cat.” You whisper reaching over for a piece of popcorn.

As the movie continues you both move slowly, fingers reaching into the popcorn bowl cautiously as the stormy night on the tv screen unsettles you. When a thud comes through the speakers Melissa flinches almost dropping the bowl.

“Dolce Gesú!” She lets out in Italian looping her arm with yours. Pink nails dig into the skin of your forearm making you hum in protest. Slowly pulling away you reach back wrapping your arm around her shoulders instead holding her close. Smelling the wine mixed with her make up from the day you can’t help but smile.

The Halloween classic continues, and at some point you end up laying on the couch, Melissa practically on top of you with her face hidden in your neck.

“You can’t have sex while a killers on the loose!” Her muffled voice comes out, soft breath against your skin making you laugh.

“They’re horny teenagers, Mel they didn’t get the memo.”

Throughout the rest of the movie Melissa plays peek a boo with the screen, using you as a human shield. Eventually your hand finds her back. Fingers moving lazily against the warm fabric you sigh contently enjoying this feeling, grateful that Melissa is comfortable enough to be this vulnerable with you. Before you know it, the eerie piano plays again as Melissa rests her chin on your shoulder meeting your eyes.

“I have a confession to make, hon.”

“What’s that?” You ask quietly, a dazed smile that you couldn’t help on your lips.

“I’m not afraid of scary movies.”

Taken aback for a moment you look into jade eyes, pupils dilated and looking at you with nothing but pure admiration.

“You- so this-“ you stammer, a soft chuckle rumbling in Melissa’s chest you can feel against your body.

Resting her hand on your hip the redhead tips her head up kissing your cheek.

“You’ll figure it out, hon.”

Mind going a mile a minute you lay there stunned until you feel her lips on your cheek. “Wait, Was this a date?” You ask quirking a brow feeling totally stupid.

Melissa smiles moving to hover over you.

“I thought it was. Do you want it to be?”

Instead of saying anything, you sit up, hands on the older woman’s hips as you lean in placing a soft kiss to her lips. It doesn’t turn into anything else then, you both exploring new ground cautiously, hands moving slowly until your arms are around her waist.

“You could’ve asked me out.” You chuckle keeping your arms around her. “You didn’t have to act scared over a movie.”

The redhead playfully rolls her eyes gently cupping your cheek.

“Not that I’m complaining.” You lean in nuzzling your nose against hers.

There’s a comfortable moment of silence at the simple action, Melissa’s fingers playing with your hair.

“Alright, hon. How’s about we go on a real date this weekend?” She suggests.

Smiling softly you nod keeping your hands on her hips.

“It’s a date.”

Caved in and made some doodles of my WK au !

In this AU, an accident leaves Chris suffering from amnesia. Zach rescues him and was gonna inicially use him to blackmail the Tortuga Crew but after realizing Chris can't remmember any of his time as a WK and that his knowledge in animals could be useful to him, Zach decides to convince the younger Kratt to join his side.

So yeah !! Now they are both evil, dumb and dramatic yay! Orange and black cat dynamic lol

In this AU Chris still has most of his memories but his time as a Wild Kratt is completely erased. He remmembers up to the time where he graduated college.

Zach uses this to his advantage and comes up with a story in which Chris and the rest of the WK went their separate ways after Chris had a fight with his brother and the rest of the crew.

Chris is kinda suspicious at first but as time goes on he starts to believe it. This is due to the fact that his views on animals and how they should be treated has been changing the more he has been with Zach and he doesn't agree with the idea of "living free and in the wild" anymore. So he can see how he and the Wild Kratts may have had a falling out.

He has more of a "I think animals should be kept caged so that they can be safe and humanity can study them and appreciate their beauty" kinda vibe.

He still loves animals and doesn't want to hurt them tho, so he and Zach argue on how Zach shouldn't use animals in his inventions.

They both come to an agreement that if Zach uses animals on his inventions then no harm should come to the creatures. (Chris still disapproves tho)

I HAVE A LOT of notes on this AU but I'm afraid this is already kinda confusing ?? I get so in my head sometimes so lmk if you understand any of this LOL

A/n: hey bare minimum gurl, how is your day lately? Yes, i am still on my holiday, and I want to write this things that happened around me. Yes, many of my girlfriends are having a boyfriend, but they are easily impressed by all this bare minimum act that their boyfriends did. All i could say is… please don’t ever settle for bare minimum, gurl. You deserved so much more 🥰 

Being a girl is hard. That’s the only fact that you know since you are in school and now an adult working woman who has lived in Gotham city for almost 3 years. Yes, you are working so hard to be here, and now all of your hard work is paying off. You are a copywriter for some big agency here. It’s not that you are having this ‘Sex and The City’ dream, at some point you hate your job, but at least, the pay is not bad and you can afford this small studio apartment with your furry pet, a british shorthair cat named Zach. 

It seems that your life is perfectly fine, but, of course it’s not because you are just a girl. You love reading romance novels, it’s like an escapism of your sometimes shitty boss. You have this certain type of favorite trope and dream boy, but, in real life you are very easy to impress by the bare minimum thing that every bumble match guy does to you.

You have many ex-(shitty)boyfriends, and there are also shitty crushes and it seems you never learnt from your previous relationship. But, when you meet this 28 year old man named Jason Todd from one of the parties that your friends held, everything seems different.

He is not just asking about how’s your day, or how he is always checking you out (and you are not even in a relationship yet!), but every once a week he send you a bouquet of your favorite flowers (He asked you this when you two were on your first date). 

On your second date, Jason, who initiated everything, he researched the most favorite cafe to go on a date and made a list of what to do after that. He did bring you to your favorite book store and said he knew this information because he saw your Instagram story gushing over new books here. 

“ To be honest, I know that you like this place because I saw your IG story a week ago.”

“You remember that?” Y/N asked with a disbelief tone. It surprised you that this man remembered the nonsense IG story that you made sometimes.  

“..Shit, am I wrong? So, sorry I don't know if it made you uncomfortable.” he said. 

“No.., no, it is fine. It is just… No one besides my friends is paying attention to my nonsense IG story.” You said. 

“It is not nonsense, I think you are just being you and that’s cute.” You blushed at his words. Damn you Todd, she cursed in her heart. 

At the end of the date, Jason Todd took you to the front of your apartment and said that he is so happy to spend time with you and surprise-surprise he said…

“Hei, Y/N i.. uhh, i like the way our conversation goes from the first time we’ve chatted, and… uhh, can we take this to another level. i … I like you. a lot, actually. and this is my first time that i felt this. And.. I don't know what’s the best time to ask you to be my girlfriend? shit, is it too soon?”

You can’t help but giggle a bit, oh my why he is so cute. 

 “Jay…, I like you too.” You confessed to him.

“Really? But, I think I just did the bare minimum things the guy did. You deserve more than this. Okay, I will show you how a man should treat his partner  more than bare minimum.” 

From the moment he told you that, you two were in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. Every weekend he visits your apartment and bring your favorite snack and food, and snacks for Mr. Zach! The first time he visited your apartment, he even steals Mr. Zach attention with his charming smile. For your information, Mr. Zach is not like you, he is hard to impress by humans, but with Jason, everything seems easy for him. 

“Hello, who is this gentleman? Wow, he is so majestic.” Said Jason. 

“His name is Zach.. he is..” You are stunned a bit when Mr Zach is already on Jason’s lap purring over him. 

“Oh my God. he never does that to any stranger.”

“Well, I think Mr Zach approved of me as your boyfriend? Right, Mr. Zach?” Zach kept purring on his lap. 

If your cat approved of this man, how can you not melt on his hand then? You thought, you will fallin so hard to this man, and you don’t even know if you will recover if you two break up.

 True to his word, he always shows youi how much he care about this relationship. He posted about you on his instagram and never try to hide his relationship with you. he is fuckin smitten with you. When he is at your apartment he always listens to your rambling like…

“Guess what..” you said

“What is it babe?”

“You remember Samantha, the project manager that I told you about..”

“The girl you said is so useless and not very helping.”

“Yes….  Today someone found out  she is the mistress of our Art Director.” Jason gasped with an excited tone.

“No waaaaayyyy..”

“Yes waaaaaay.. I can't believe that the tea is boiling.” you chuckled. Jason smiles at you.

It feels so natural the way this dynamic with Jason, he always listens to what you say, he genuinely cares about you, and you just realize that this is how it feels to be loved by someone.

“No baby, it is the truth. I am so sorry if this is too sudden. I.. I just want to be with you and wake up next to you every single day of my life. But, if you are still not ready yet, it’s okay baby, you can just visit it whenever you like.” He said while caressing your face. Now, you are totally crying. 

“Oh my God, Jaybird you are totally peace of shit,” and then you kiss him and hug him. 

“Okay.. I will move in with you.” when he heard the yes, he is smililng widely and kiss her again. 

“Thank you, Y/N. Thank you for bring so much happiness to my life.”

Tazzy Brother-Mine (Tazzy Martin. Zach's disrupt-o-bots copy this malfunction from Chris's suit to Martin's. It doesn't activate til awhile later when Chris and Martin get stuck in a cave-in. Martin still pretty much himself but he's hungry and that doesn't bode well for animal instincts.)

Tazzy Martin (Zach's disrupt-o-bots copy this malfunction from Chris's suit to Martin's. It activates right away and Martin soon ends up running off into the woods while the crew tries to find him. They end up having to save Zach from Martin)

Were-Kratts! (Martin and Chris are were-mountain cats. They have been this whole time but the others didn't find out til now. They aren't dangerous towards the crew but they do cause a mess)

Board Games and Burnout (Martin stays up way too late learning how to play a board game he just got. He and Chris then have to stop an evil plan of Zach's and afterwards have to round of a bunch of zebras. Martin stays with the zebras as he zebra himself to make sure no more wander off. Zebra herd instinct makes him really want to be with the crew)

Cheetah Panic (Martin worries about Chris being late to show up their meeting spot. He then has a cheetah panic attack, only a little bit of feral-ness here) there's also a comic version

Otterly Ridiculous Instincts (Martin and Chris are otters but Chris's suit has malfunctioned turning him into a baby otter. Martin gets in danger from a shark and Chris's animal instincts cause him to really freak out)

Other

Control (Some random villain tries to use Zach's mind control technology to get Martin to attack a de-powered Chris. Martin ends up attacking the random villain instead after some struggle, it's bloody.)

A Foreign Sense of Flavor (Martin has a nightmare in which he goes hunting as a Florida Panther and kills a "deer")

Influence of Instincts (Chris and Martin are hanging out as cheetahs but then run into some poachers who think they are mutant cheetahs and not human. Martin is out cold and Chris ends up attacking the poachers to protect them both)

Intentional Misconduct (Zach uses his disrupt-o-bots to make the bros go feral while they are in wolf form. They attack him and he runs off to the Tortuga to help undue what he did, the wold bros follow him. Currently unfinished)

The Sea Forgets; The Sky Remembers (Zach's evil cousin has a traveling cryptid show and show wants to get some living specimens for it. She has Zach help her by capturing the bros and messing with their suits to make Martin look like a merman and Chris look like the mothman. Chris is able to get away to get help but isn't able to bring Martin with him. Neither of them were living in good conditions but things get worse for Martin after Chris escapes. Sadly, being part-goldfish is bad for memory)

Physical Instrument (Chris messes up his suit and ends up being a hybrid of multiple animals. He runs around in the woods trying to hunt and not being good at it. The crew have to capture a starved feral Chris. Even when they can fix his mind, they can't fix his body. Currently Unfinished)

Animalistic (turns out using shapeshifting suits a bunch can cause permanent change. Also shows sick!Chris. Currently Unfinished)

Of Claws and Stripes (Tazzy Chris but with tigers instead of T-Devils. Chris poses a very real threat to Martin and suit poses a very real threat to Chris)

Chapter one: Changes 

This au is the Wild Kratts Guardianship au by @littlecrittereli

The idea is that their is a bigger age gap between Martin and Chris (About 9 or so years apart) and Martin as legal Guardianship after Chris at a young age after they parent passed away (Think Lilo and Nani) I hope you like the first Chapter

Chris remembers that day well, he couldn’t forget if he tried. He remembers the teacher writing on the board talking about fractions. He remembers how bored he was because he knew this all and could do this in his sleep if he wanted. He remembers the teacher’s phone suddenly ringing causing everyone around him to jumping in surprise. But the part he remembers the most is the expression on his teachers face when she turned to Chris in terror like someone had died…

And it turned out someone did die.

The rest is just moments of him and his older brother coming back from Uni early (he was supposed to be back that summer break to hang out) them crying and holding each other. The fighting and shouting matches between Martin and their other relatives over him. The sudden change of moving to a super small one bedroom apartment with his brother. The meals going from warm and comforting to salty and small. 

But the worst change was Martin and himself. He could remember when his brother would read to him the animal picture books and would show him how a pather would leap into the air to catch its prey. It was so much fun being the wild cat’s hunting down its prey and how he would tackle his bro in their little make believe game. 

Now Martin would come home exhausted only to head over to the only expensive thing they owned, the laptop and work on his online studies. Chris now walked to and from school all on his own, coming to an empty apartment instead of the big house that felt like home then here, sitting on the floor and starting his homework on the tiny coffee table next to the second hand couch they owned. When he finished doing the little chorus he had and eating his dinner (if Martin remembered to make it). 

Then there was Lauren. At first Chris didn’t know who she was but he did know she was always coming to the apartment and she asked a lot of the same questions over and over again. She was sickly sweet around him but very short with Martin. Maybe they were dating? He had seen shows where the girlfriends were always mad at their boyfriends for some reason he couldn’t understand. But when he overheard some of his classmates talking about a CSP and what that meant with a quick bit of research, he finally knew who Lauren really was.

And that now he really didn’t like Lauren.

This life became the new normal for Chris. When he reached the ripe old age of 12 was when the fights happened. Chris couldn’t understand why he was so angry. I mean he could but more specifically he didn’t know why he was mad at Martin. It was like the littlest corny joke that came out of the older blonde's mouth was like it was directed at him like it was his fault or something.

By the time he became 14 was when his life changed again when Martin got an email from someone with an opportunity that would change both of their lives forever.

Aviva looked at the message over and over. Yes? Yes. Yes!! She did it! She got the grant for their research. She couldn’t believe it she couldn’t wait to tell Martin… oh, wait Martin. She felt her excitement turn cold in an instant.

Martin wouldn’t be able to go because of his younger brother. No, she couldn’t do this without him. It was their research, it was their project. If it wasn’t for him she wouldn’t have gotten the idea for doing this in the first place. 

It was her first day at uni. She was confident that she would excel in the classes. That wasn’t her problem, it was the fact that she didn’t think she would make any friends. After what happened in space camp she didn’t she ever would again. Zach had shattered her faith in people after the utter betrayal of stealing her technology for himself. Now he owned his own company selling the bots that she originally made. Though their ai was a little off before she could fit their code to learn how to interpret turn of phrase instead of taking them literally which made her happy a little. but , still she was at rock bottom again and needed a new angle and new hook to start inventing something that could help … someone, something? 

She hated this so much. She knew better than to put her eggs in one basket but she did anyway and look where it got her. In a classroom of over nine hundred students learning things she learned years ago. 

“Psst? Hey,”

She heard a voice coming from behind her. Turning to see a guy in a blue sweatshirt looking at her.

“Yes, can I help you?” She asked deadpan.

“I know this is gonna sound really cliche but I forgot my pen and was wondering…” Before he even finished his sentence she had produced a pen out of almost thin air handing it to him. 

“Oh my gosh you’re a lifesaver. Thank you.”

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever.” She exasperated turning back around.

“I’m Martin” and a hand stretched out from the left of her face caused her to wip back around.

“huh? Aviva.” She said unsure of how to interact in this situation. She now gave the guy a better look at him. He was all smiles and started talking about something she wasn’t really paying attention. It was a bad habit she was trying to break. What she did catch was he wanted to be a Zoologist to travel around the world with his little brother when he grows a bit (if he wanted to cause he was only 8 right now). He talked about all the creatures that he liked (Mostly aquatic variety) It reminded her of a golden retriever which made her smile a bit, but then the next thing he said was what started this whole new road she would take not just by herself as she’d thought but with her new friends, no her new family.

“Imagine if you could have the abilities of these awesome creatures.”

"Hurts, doesn't it?", you question sitting next to the fourth born on his bed as he sits up very slowly, gripping his head.

"Here, take this", you say offering out your hand which held a glass filled with a mystery concoction for him to drink, in which he tries to decline, waving your hand away.

That party at The Fall went on much longer than you or any of the others had anticipated. You hadn't planned on going out, and neither did Satan. But, Asmo's incessant nagging mixed with Mammon's pleas had worn down on the both of you, causing +2 to be added to Team Party.

The booze were free, if you recall correctly. Something about a wrap party on a film that was shooting, and Asmo was good friends with the main actress. You're not going to lie, your head is pretty blurry too. But, what you were feeling looked like seemingly nothing next to Satan's hangover.

You sigh at his refusal, grabbing his arm yourself and forcing the glass into his hands.

"Drink", you command him, maybe not even realizing it was a command.

He sits up further in his bed, squinting his eyes open to stare at the glass of swirling, shimmering silver liquid. His voice comes out strained, "What the hell is that?".

"I'm actually not sure", you look down at the glass almost just as hesitantly. Seeing how heavily it was affecting him, you'd gone to Solomon and asked him to whip up something to help Satan out. You just silently pray to Diavolo that whatever he 'whipped' up that lie in the blonde's hands was a potion and not his attempt at a smoothie or something. That'd surely kill him.

He shoots you a questioning look, to which you respond with the sorcerer's name and a shrug of your shoulders. "But you want to feel better right?".

He gives one more unsure glance at the glass before downing the mixture as quickly as possible, slamming the cup down on his nightstand, shuttering at the aftertaste.

"So", you ask, "now that you're conscious, mind telling me where you ran off to last night?".

One second he sat next to you, accepting another shot from a waitress who brought little glasses around on a serving tray, and the next he was MIA. You swear you only looked away for a minute, so where could he have gone?

Concerned, you grabbed his brothers from the dance floor, having them help you search around the building. When none of you found him, you expanded your search to the downtown area, but there was no sign of the demon of wrath.

Running out of leads, the three of you traveled back to the House of Lamentation with the intention of telling Lucifer about the predicament, only to find Satan passed out in his bed.

"Did you just come home to sleep? Why didn't you tell any of us. I didn't think you were that drunk".

He tries to fully sit up now, interrupting himself with a hiss of pain. "I don't remem-", he grunts now, grabbing his left side, causing you to panic.

"What's wrong?", you begin examining him, a hand falling on his back for support. "Are you alright?".

"I don't know. It feels like my skin's been stung, and"

Once again he stops talking as he lifts that part of his shirt to look at the source of the pain.

Your face falls.

His face falls.

"Satan."

"I have absolutely no idea where this came from."

"How long have you had this?"

"I told you, I have no recollection of ever getting... that.'

You stare at the words emblazoned right above his hip. In a fancy, cursive font, adorned with cat paws and hearts, was unmistakably your name.

"Huh. Well, I'm flattered", you boast, trying your best not to burst out laughing as his face begins glowing in both anger and embarrassment. "So that must have been where you went. I've got to say Satan, I never took you as the tattoo type."

"I'm not!", he yells over sad attempt to hide your giggles, turning his face to the side to hide his very obvious blush.

"But... I guess.... if it were anything... I'm glad its your name."

Now it was your turn to blush. "W-well c'mon, lets go see about getting it removed then", you start as you begin to get up from the bed, flustered.

"Wait", he grabs your arm to stop you from leaving. "I must admit, I kind of like it. Would you mind if I kept it?".

I find it funny how this time Zach doesn't have an arbitrary invention he's shoving the animals into. He just goes, "I'll steal them and sell them as pets!" That's just classic poaching, Zach you are actually committing a crime now instead of a cartoon one. lol

Also someone on the team keeps putting Chris and Zach in these situations and i'd like to think it's because they know Chrizach shippers are watching

EDWARD NASHTON X READER <3

Summary: You and Ed first meet in the break room of both of the accounting firm you both work at. It's rather awkward, but not all first meets are romantic and "love at first sight", right? . . . Warnings: none, just normal and kind of sweet human interaction between two awkward coworkers because Ed deserves nice things UwU

You find yourself standing near the window of the break room, watching as the droplets of rain race down the cold, tempered glass that protects you from the outside elements. The day’s mood has been much like the weather outside, bleak and lackluster, the sun showing no signs of showing its lovely face anytime soon. But it seems as if life has been like this for a while now, office life is a lot more boring and draining than you expected.

Much like your last job as a waitress at the diner, actually. The scenery may have changed but not the situation. Except now, instead of customers insulting you to your face, you have condescending coworkers that smile at you and then take bites at you when they think you’re not listening, and somehow that hurts more. 

'Would Mike give me my old job back if I ask?'

You wonder while stirring your tea absentmindedly,

'I mean he said he would, but it's been three months so it’s probably too late.'

You’re pulled from your thoughts by the sudden cracking of the break room door opening, out of curiosity you look over to see who’s come to share said space with you and recognize the person as Edwin, or was it Edgar? You can’t remember, neither of you interacted much outside of courteous ‘good mornings’, and for all you know he probably doesn’t know your name either. 

He makes his way over to the coffee machine to serve himself into a flimsy disposable cup similar to yours. You don’t mean to, but you continue to watch him. The way he moves is awkward, almost hesitant really and for someone so tall it’s as if he’s trying to take up as little space as possible despite the room being almost empty. 

‘Say something before he notices you being a creep!’ Your internal thoughts scream at you.

 Looking down at your feet, you take a breath before mustering the courage to speak, “Nice weather we’re having, huh?” 

“Uh, excuse me?” He questions turning his body in your direction.

“I said, ‘Nice weather we’re having.’” You cringe internally as you repeat yourself a little louder. 

The presumed Edwin lets an awkward laugh before speaking, “Oh! Right, right, yeah, cloudy day and it’s raining cats and dogs outside. Beautiful.” He smiles at you, his soft features seem to glow under the fluorescent lighting overhead. Such a little act of kindness takes you by surprise and although you don't show it, the way your ears heat up and cheeks flush red tells another story. Luckily, your coworker doesn’t notice as he looks away to secure a lid on his coffee.

"Haha, exactly, it's lovely." You laugh with him as you slowly ease over to him near the coffee machine before testing the waters with his name. "Edwin, right?"

"Uh, no... It's Edward" He sighs out and averts his gaze to look down to the coffee cup in his hand. Edward’s mind is quick to bully him, ‘Of course she doesn’t know your name. Why would she? Be realistic, you’re nobody.’

‘How embarrassing,’ you think, kicking yourself mentally, 'At this point, just walk away and staple your mouth shut. Dumbass.' 

You're quick to apologize, bringing your free hand up to pinch the bridge of your nose in embarrassment and is the room suddenly warmer? or is it just your face growing more flushed by the second? "Oh! I'm sorry, I've never been good with names and we were ever properly introduced. My bad, I-I'm (y/n)."

‘Nice save, (y/n), that sounds reaaaal convincing.’

It’s a shame you didn’t know his name because Edward already knew yours, how could he not? One look of that lovely face and poor Edward was hooked. It had been Zach that introduced you to the entire office your first day, you hadn't noticed him among the dozens of eyes looking at you in that moment, but rest assured that he noticed you. The way you looked standing before everyone seemed so innocent, so vulnerable, and the beautiful smile you offered as you waved to everyone in the room. Oh, he was left speechless. Where have you been all his miserable life? You looked like an angel, a soft glowing light in the never ending darkness of City of Gotham.

Edward spent days thinking about that smile and hoping to see it again, hopefully this time for him only.

With a wave of his free hand he dismisses the mistake, trying to play it off in a cool manner despite the fact that inside he’s so nervous and afraid to mess up this simple interaction. It’s not everyday the man has a chance to talk to a woman, “No-no worries. Now you know for next time we talk, hehe…” 

“Oh, Next time for sure! Same time tomorrow then?” You ask jokingly.

“Yes.” Edward replies almost too quickly, it’s so sudden and you can’t help but laugh. A hearty laughter that erupts from your throat. ‘God, she’s gorgeous. Please never stop laughing, please.’ He thinks, his glasses almost fogging up from how hot his face is getting just from listening to you. Finally, getting the last of the giggles out of your system, you compose yourself before looking up at the clock above the break room door. 12:55 pm it reads, letting out a sigh you drink up the last of your cold tea before dropping it into the trash.

“Perfect, well, I’m gonna head back to my little desk and wait for 5pm! See you around, Edward.” You say holding out your fist towards the man. A moment passes, Edward stares at your closed hand before making a fist and hesitantly bumps it against yours.

With one last smile, you turn to leave the break room with Edward’s quiet voice calling out to you to have a nice day.

Edward stood a while longer in the break room not really knowing what to do, he felt a warmth blossom within his chest and butterflies flutter in his belly. A sigh leaves his lips as he thinks over the interaction, you’re a lot more beautiful up close, the way you speak and carry yourself is beautiful, everything about you is perfect to Edward. The green eyed man really hopes you mean it, about meeting him again that is, because he'd do anything to just stand so close to you once more. And for once, amidst the euphoric high caused by you, Edward’s mind is quiet. 

And then he burns himself after trying to drink his coffee.

Meanwhile, you’re back at your desk preparing to take on the rest of the day saying ‘hello’ to all your coworkers as they came back from their lunch break.

The rest of the day continues as usual for the most part, but in the back of your mind lingers your coworker, Edward. You can’t help but feel excited for tomorrow's lunch break. You really meant it, the conversation although short and rather awkward was nice and helped you forget the possibility of quitting this job, you hope to see more of that nerdy accountant. 

'He’s kinda cute.' You think peaking over the receptionist desk to where Edward’s own place in the office. Curious eyes lingering on the man as he scribbles away on ledger sheets, he looks so focused and the way he adjusts his glasses with the pencil in his hand makes you light headed.

 'I was wrong, He’s very cute…'

I'm actually so late to the Paul Dano craze! I just watched "The Batman" like last week and fell in love with Paul Dano's portrayal of The Riddler, he's so cute lololol. I'll likely keep writing about him, I really hope the fandom isn't too dead.

So you might be asking "Joss!! Why is she a Zachbot and not a real human child???" And to that I say: I don't really think these two would have real children lol

It's like that opening scene from the movie Robots where they build their child. For my specific interpretations of Zach and Aviva, since they're T4T and I like to project into these fellows, I uhm! Don't really think Zach would enjoy being "the bearer of the curse" (referring to pregnancy)

Previous wording is a joke lol, but!! I do think it would be an accurate characterization for this failwife of a man that I resonate with

ANYWAYS, onto this girl herself!! Personality wise, I feel like she'd be similar to Creepie from Growing up Creepie! Which funnily enough shares a voice with Aviva. Feel as though she'd share that love for animals, but specifically regarding bugs and other... More morbid or macabre things lol

Think Wednesday Addams or Mandy from The Grim Adventures but more lively. Still very monotone though! It's that Zachbot in her, so she struggles to comprehend sarcasm or turns of phase. Mayhaps also an inherent Zach autism thing!

As of right now, I don't think she aligns with either the 'mommas girl' or daddy's girl' archetypes - she just kind of likes them both equally methinks Though, she definitely takes a lot after Aviva, both in general appearance and interests

I'd say that a lot of the time the crew and both Zach and Aviva forget that she's not a human in certain situations. Nothing major! I mean, normal Zachbots can withstand water and not short circuit lol so nothing that is DEADLY - just like. "Oh I forgot you have super strength" kinds of things

Random thoughts:

- No way she doesn't love Warrior Cats. I've never read it, know nothing about it, but she'd be roleplaying as a cat in a clan. Forcing anyone she can into it lol, with use of the Creature Power Suits or not

- ON THAT TOPIC, she would probably be fascinated with the CPS. No idea if she has the ability to use them or not. Can Zachbots use them? Who knows!

- She probably doesn't interact/mesh well with human children- Typical autism archetype, but I feel as though kids would recognize immediately that she's different. Maybe not BULLY HER, that's a bit much, but some sort of weird looks or treading lightly around her.

- She's like a typical early 2010s "weird emo kid". Maybe she uses site like MySpace? Is she allowed online? Probably not! Uh knowing yknow, the unlimited knowledge that could be horribly dangerous for a child let alone an android to have access to

Okay I have run out of thoughts FOR NOW..... If any of you have any ideas on what her name should be don't be afraid to share!! I have no idea what to do in that area lol. All that I know is that Aviva would insist that she'd have the last name Varmitech. (Off topic but as mentioned previously regarding 'I don't think these fellows would have a real child!' I also don't really think they'd get married, but that is subject to change if I think about it too much lol)

What if Chris will work with Zach?

Now it's up to the villains, what is Chris' relationship with the other villains in this au Individually, starting with Paisley and Rex:

Although he doesn't know much about Paisley and Rex, he gets along well with them, he has a personality similar to Paisley's which makes them get along well and because he is an assistant he is close to Rex and sometimes they talk to each other by message or call. In this case I still don't know which way to go with them since Paisley may or may not have been reformed due to the events of the special so I'll see, I don't want to take too much time with them now.

Gourmound, Chris has helped Gourmound capture animals and eaten some of his food, but he doesn't like it at all, he feels great discomfort every time he helps him since he likes the idea of ​​killing animals, especially if they are in danger of extinction. In addition, sometimes he tries to convince him to kill them, something Chris profoundly refuses. "I only provide my services to catch them, not to kill them, Mr. Gourmound" is what he always says and with that he leaves the kitchen to wait for something happens like his brother or Zach.

Chris gets along wonderfully with Donita and Dabio, he also helps her with some animal captures, he also serves as a mannequin, although he doesn't like being a model, the attention bothers him. And finally Zach, if I had to compare them with other series characters they would be like Dr. House and Wilson, with a little more homosexual moments between them (Donita ships them in full) you can see them very together in the occasional conference, when they are working at home sometimes they fall asleep on the couch, if one gets sick the other will take care of them and they will send a Zachbot for medicine if they don't have any, they behave like cats wanting attention on some occasions, but the other will say that it is the The one who behaves like a cat, it is very cute to see those discussions.

Chris is sometimes not only Zach's biologist, secretary or assistant, but also frowns as Zach's voice of reason whenever he feels that Zach is about to do something stupid, it's more alas episodes that didn't happen the way they did thanks to that, because Chris put Zach's feet on the ground and thanks to that Zach feels better about himself, moves more and in general is more pleasant for the rest, with Chris being someone positive in his life.

Zach knows that Aviva wants to take Chris away from him and that gets on his nerves so he always tries to get him away from her and on more than one occasion he confronts her (the only victories Zach has against Aviva) after that Chris comforts him and assures him that he won't go anywhere without it.

And well, that's how Assistant Chris gets along with everyone, if he doesn't mention anything about the Kratt children it's because Chris doesn't care much if they're there or not and the kids are a little afraid of him, they don't even know that Chris and Martin are siblings.

Since I'm planning to buy the steam release when it comes out and not the switch release, that unfortunately means I won't be purchasing the bad human edition, which I'm a little bummed about considering that seems to (currently) be the only place you can purchase the new prologue comic?? You CANNOT take cat brothers away from me. They are the most important to me in this whole game and I NEED to get my paws on it

I've heard that the steam release will not be using the original OST because they couldn't get the rights? Which, admittedly, I'm also a little sad about considering how excellent of a soundtrack it is. I mean. Pepper steak. Come on. It's something I would move past if it weren't for knowing that a lot of new people are going to be discovering it for the first time, and without the magic of the original OST!! But regardless, I'm optimistic about the new artists putting together this steam release OST. I'm hopeful it will be just as great!

AND THE NEW ART! THE NEW ART!! ZACH'S NEW SHOP!!!! It looks so much more refined now.. I can't tell you how excited I am to discover everything in store!! Seeing all the differences and whatnot, even when it comes to the translation (which is pretty cool they're choosing to simply just polish the original fan translation if you ask me, considering how much of an impact that's left).
