Currently, I’d say my biggest criticism of the Fallout show (that I hope theyll address in season 2) is the lack of focus on actual wastelanders.

You only really see things from the perspective of sheltered youngsters or the Uber-cynic ghoul. All the actual wastelanders they encounter are basically crazed killers or canon fodder.

I get that’s the point, at least for now: to show that the wasteland is harsh and our cast aren’t quite equipped to handle it. But if they want to tackle these big themes, if they want to actually explain why this world is worth saving from the vault tec baddies, or why the ghoul cowboy should value human life, I think they need to do a little more work next season on the people actually living in this world.

Show a settlement that’s gotten together. Or a family that’s nice to the cast. Or just have someone from the wastes who just waves to them and shoots the breeze. The current presentation of wastelanders makes them seem so cartoonish and inhuman, when there can be so much more nuance to how people behave in that kind of world. I just really hope they try to actually dig into that kind of humanity to wasteland life in season 2

I love that throughout the entirely of Family Ties, there's absolutely no indication whatsoever that Alex is musically inclined—no lore or casually dropped lines or anything—then we near the end of season 6, and get blindsided by a scene of Alex playing a blues song on guitar and singing with Andy.

It's then never referenced or brought into play again for the remainder of the series.

my friend i have scoured, deep sea dived, deep cleaned, poker all-inned and i have never once in my rdr2 career ever been able to find a positive interaction between them in canon. i didn’t think they even had ANY for the longest time until someone found one and its literally javier threatening kieran … which i would personally not categorize as “domestic bliss”. i think our best bet for canon content is crossing our fingers and praying that the ai for them in camp has them sit next to each other momentarily

If we're going by technicality, it's Kaiba, considering he has the top high scores in games like DDR and Beatsaber (Along with every other arcade game in Japan)

Just thinking again about this gorgeous art Bast made for me of our Kohga, and how he's a loud, brash kinda fella but then also has these quiet moments.

Fun facts/headcanons though! Our best guy's been playing shamisen since he was about five, his mama taught him, aaaaand he can actually play two of them at once using his self-duplication trick! It's pretty cool, he can keep track of all four hands at once and do neat stuff weaving more than one melody around each other and then making phrases sound real emphatic by doing them on both instruments simultaneously.

Kohga often plays at Clan matsuri and parties and it's always a huge hit with the whole banana crew. <3

Happy WBW! (Delayed 😁) What is the musicality and musical environment like in your world? Do the people sing? Do they dance? Play instruments? How about your protagonist and company?

Happy WBW!! (Very delayed.) Honestly I have no idea, and as for protag and company most of them didn't have the luxury or time to learn. But here's what instruments I think they would play:

Crys: violin, because I think the elegance of it would suit him and he has the skill for it. I also think he'd have a pretty nice singing voice, but he'd rather die than sing in front of someone else (in a happier modern au this would probably spawn many Shenanigans in which everyone tried to get him to sing something).

Icarus: acoustic guitar, and maybe also the flute? I don't really have a reason for this the vibes just fit. Also he really likes learning so even in canon he can probably play several instruments. He's not anywhere close to being a master at it, but he has fun.

Rhyme: drums. It's a good way for her to release rage I guess? I also think she'd be good at singing heavy metal type songs or rapping. She screm

Sol: no musical talents rip. I mean he can probably play the recorder okay. Or the triangle.

Dahlia: piano, maybe? Not sure about her instrument. I think she'd also be pretty good at singing, but less shy about it.

Beatriz: some... instrument that also requires a lot of skill. Violin again?? Whatever it is she'd insist she's not that good at it and probably combust out of anxiety if someone asked her to play though
