My gremlin brain: okay but like, Fai D. Fluorite CLAMP and Caleb Widogast Critical Role are basically the same character in different flavors: both are studious wizards with false names (that essentially become their real ones with their found family+traveling companions knowing them by the false names) running from their past and hide their true emotions, you've got very Plot Important space-time magic involved in their backstories which involve one of the primary antagonists seeking the use of said space-time magic for Nefarious Purposes that affects the main story and the main party doesn't know about until late in the story, those primary antagonists involved in the deaths of their family and placing blame on them/they feel immense blame from it, having at some point some kind of alliance with that primary antagonist who has psychologically manipulated them, their backstories being ANGST CITY BABEY, they are Not Straight and finish their respective series in a m/m relationship having grown hair long enough to put in a ponytail

'show yourself.' silence. she studies down the main street for anything, anything at all. she stands, the hair at the back of her neck standing up. she makes her power visible, a dark clot of magic that will surely be a killing blow. the night calls back at her with all the wild panic she uses in a trial, STEVEN! the sound of a wounded animal, a mad woman. her own pain mirrored back at her. raising the question of how long it has been observing her -- how close has it gotten -- and why can't she find it?

max putting up a new dwightcrow wiping the sweat from his brow then hears a rustling in the corn. he turns towards nothing. crows, maybe, he tells himself that while trying to act brave. then the same shifting of the corn from his left. it's circling -- behind him. he zigzags back up to the house. stares out from the porch. holding vigil, unblinking. get out here, varmint-- it's almost out of the field before he thinks to look down. and that's when makes the decision towards a tactical retreat. not worth it. nope it can have the realm. fuck this. he's coming back with reinforcements, but especially with caleb's gun.

charlotte hearing victor. he went out scouting, but he's back early. she keeps trying to find him, but he's moving. his little breaths, the hitches, the low growls of phantom pain. why does it seem like he's running from her? she hasn't registered yet she's being led into a corner. and then she hears it. 'que fais-tu?' turns to face -- victor. in the dooway of the shack. holding a little snack from the rcpd. she looks back towards the basement. victor's noises in the basement turn strange. she scoops up her brother and walks away from the shack. 'rien. je pensais avoir entendu quelque chose.'

the quiet is nothing new to lea. it's only ever the crashing of waves, and the rustling of wind in the boughs. she knows that peace. and whatever moves among the roots of her world-tree disrupts that stillness despite its best attempts. she doesn't think it's breathing. but it murmurs soft to itself as it twines around the base of the old tree, seeking the way up. it crawls, and she climbs, and she stands her ground against the firmest branch, spear in hand. it uses her brother's voice. the rough-hewn language of the south, croaking out lea, leaaaaa... come and see... and she won't have it. she throws down her spear, meaning to skewer this imitation of flesh. there will be no peace in her realm this day. there is only the hunt.

anna is much the same. something comes, unlike any beast this forest has known. she smiles to herself. its twisted flesh is fat, downright excessive. it could feed her well all winter long. it calls to her, but it doesn't understand her. she will see it long before it sees her -- and before it can expose its bag of tricks, she will loose a hatchet. the hunt is on. she is delighted with this new comer, with its wily ways. the voices of humanity are only background noise to her, possessing no meaning or reason. but the chance to prove herself, to take home a new trophy, is addictive. she can fashion a fine new apron from its hide.

who are your voiceclaims for your songbirdverse characters?

Hey anon! This is a good question. I have a few voice claims picked out, mostly based on cover/original artists on YouTube.

Mathias can change his voice, perfectly mimicking anyone, so he doesn't have a particular voice claim, he's just everybody.

Jaren and Ritter are Caleb Hyles and Jonathan Young, respectively, and I'm not just saying that because they have sick as fuck duets like their shared covers of Crossing the Line and Make a Man Out of You or the original Wolf Within song.

Jinnie Fay is Annapantsu, easy. And I'm not just saying that because she and Caleb Hyles did the official Cabaretti song (Join Us) and also a Smooth Criminal duet and that's basically how I ship Jinnie and Jaren, nope, not at all.

Errant's voice claim is Lacey Sturm. If you haven't listened to Darkness Before the Dawn by Lacey and Caleb, I recommend it. Similarly, Parnesse's voice claim is Lauren Babic, listen to Lauren and Jonathan's song God of Greed.

And a recent voice claim is actually Colm McGuinness for Ob Nixilis. Yes, it's because of Colm's cover of Hell's Comin' With Me. Shhhh.

I haven't figured out any other voices beyond that. I'll know them when I hear them, I suppose!

Lorsque les deux jeunes gens font leurs devoirs chez Hanna, cette dernière se montre très démonstrative et Sean la repousse. Hanna a peur qu'il la voie encore comme une amie, encore comme la fille qu'elle était auparavant. Elle fait beaucoup de shopping avec Mona et n'aime pas de voir que Wilden, le policier avec qui sa mère a couché, la suive. Après la découverte dramatique du corps d'Alison, Hanna participe aux funérailles, où elle rencontre ses amis. Après la messe, les filles reçoivent un message d'un étranger qui signature -A qui dit : « Je suis toujours là et je sais tout ! » Même si Hanna a beaucoup changé physiquement, elle est toujours aussi généreuse et gentille. Parmi les quatre amies, elle est la plus audacieuse et la plus honnête, n'ayant pas peur de dire ce qu'elle pense. Cependant, elle est naïve et donne facilement sa confiance. Hanna est très spirituelle et sarcastique mais également très réfléchie et aux petits soins de tout le monde. Elle ferait tout pour préserver la sécurité de ceux qu'elle aime. Cependant, elle est naïve et donne facilement sa confiance. Comme ses amies, Hanna a une liste de secrets qu'elle tente de préserver et qui est menacée par A-. Elle était la complice d'Alison avec Aria, Emily et Spencer le soir où Alison a rendu Jenna Marshall aveugle. Sa mère a volé de l'argent sur son lieu de travail pour les sortir de leurs difficultés financières. Elle a été draguée par le fiancé d'Ella Montgomery, Zack et bien d'autres. Hanna est habituellement toujours la première à découvrir les secrets des autres parmi les quatre filles : elle fut la première à découvrir qu'Emily était lesbienne (également qu'elle avait écrit une fausse lettre pour l'université), elle fut la première à découvrir qu'Aria et Ezra sont en couple et elle fut la première à découvrir que Spencer a volé la dissertation de Melissa. Elle fut également la première à apprendre par Aria, que Maggie, l'ex-petite amie d'Ezra, n'a pas avortée et que donc, Ezra est papa d'un petit garçon. C'est aussi elle la première à apprendre qu'Alison sortait avec un mec plus vieux. Je ne fais pas un copier/coller de la série pour autant.

Dans notre temps caractérisé par l’intérêt personnel et une tendance à se mettre en avant, il est rafraîchissant d’étudier le personnage de Josué, une belle image de Christ dans son service désintéressé. Que ce soit dans sa jeunesse, lorsqu’il servait humblement Moïse, ou plus tard comme puissant conducteur, il a glorifié Dieu par son obéissance et sa fidélité. C’est un exemple pour nous tous : nous ne devrions pas chercher à être servis, mais comme notre Seigneur Jésus, notre désir devrait être de servir les autres.

La première fois que nous entendons parler de Josué, c’est lorsque Moïse lui demande de combattre Amalek. Nous lisons : “Josué fit comme Moïse lui avait dit” (Exode 17. 10). Moïse avait besoin de quelqu’un en qui il pouvait avoir confiance et sur qui il pouvait s’appuyer, et Dieu reconnaît Josué comme le bras droit de Moïse quelques versets plus loin : “L’Éternel dit à Moïse : Écris ceci pour mémorial dans le livre et fais-le entendre à Josué” (v. 14). Plus tard, nous voyons que Josué assiste toujours fidèlement Moïse : “Moïse se leva, avec Josué qui le servait” (Exode 24. 13). Tout au long de ces premières années, Josué n’essaie pas de se faire un nom. Il sert discrètement et dans l’ombre.

Josué accomplissait son service avec un zèle constant, même en l’absence de Moïse, car son énergie n’était pas inspirée par le désir d’impressionner le conducteur du peuple, mais de glorifier Dieu : “Moïse retournait au camp, mais son serviteur Josué, fils de Nun, jeune homme, ne sortait pas de l’intérieur de la tente” (Exode 33. 11).

Lorsque le moment est venu de remplacer Moïse, le Seigneur a choisi Josué (Nombres 27. 18). Son temps de mise à l’épreuve avait montré qu’il était apte pour ce travail. Le témoignage est donné à son sujet, comme à celui de Caleb, dans le verset du jour : ils “ont pleinement suivi l’Éternel”. Suivons son exemple, afin d’être loués non par les hommes, mais par notre Maître : “Bien, bon et fidèle esclave…” (Matthieu 25. 21).

Elle nous rappelle l'importance de cette attitude, si souvent moquée en France, qui est un facteur capital du succès.

Lorsque tu débutes dans une discipline, lorsque tu t'intègres dans un nouvel environnement, lorsque tu apprends un nouveau sujet (comme le business), tu es perdu.

Et c'est normal. Tu es bombardé d'informations et tu n'as pas encore construit les outils pour discerner ce qui est vrai de ce qui est faux, ce qui est efficace de ce qui ne l'est pas, ce qui est bon de ce qui est mauvais.

Il est impossible, à ce moment de la courbe d'apprentissage, de comprendre pourquoi les choses en sont arrivées là et pourquoi les gens se comportent ainsi.

C'est pourquoi, quand tu es plongé dans un nouvel environnement, il ne faut pas :

Critiquer l'état des faits

Vouloir imposer ses codes

Essayer de tout comprendre

Il faut :

Observer l'environnement et les comportements des gens

Faire comme les gens qui réussissent

Reproduire les codes

C'est la première étape. On ne peut pas casser ou dépasser les codes sans d'abords les maîtriser.

À cette étape, l'imitation est ta meilleure arme. La compréhension viendra ensuite.

Cette attitude, souvent moquée en France, est pourtant la première pierre angulaire pour construire le succès.

Donc, la plupart des gens devraient imiter les meilleurs des domaines qui ne sont pas leur spécialité au lieu de faire à leur sauce.
