I JUST WATCHED ACT ONE AND HOLY SHIT
Do you think sevika likes biting? Like when other people do it? Because when I saw caitlyn doing it to her I could’ve sworn there was a smirk on sevikas face.
Anyway could you do like headcanons on this? If that’s okay. I love you❤️
oh i KNOW she likes biting AHAHHAAHAH
men and minors dni
really, nobody's been able to make you cum like sevika can. not even your trusty vibrator.
so, it's not surprising to you that you're always scratching up her back and leaving bite marks on her shoulders, but it is concerning.
you confront her about it early on in your relationship. both of you are naked and catching your breath in bed, sevika lazily smoking a cigarette and rubbing your back as you lay on top of her, your finger tracing the indent of your teeth on her breast.
"sevika... am i too rough with you?" you ask.
sevika chokes on her smokes, then sputters a laugh. "what're you talking about?!" she cackles.
"i'm always tearing your back up with my nails-- you've got, like scars on your shoulders now babe. and i worry that i'll draw blood one day, with my teeth or nails--"
"--okay, shut up." sevika cuts you off. you huff a bit and pinch her nipple, and sevika shivers and giggles. "baby. if you recall, i'm not exactly gentle with you, either. just fucked you like a bitch in heat, love, 'n 'm gonna have to lotion your ass from how much i was smacking it."
you suddenly feel bashful, sevika's casual discussion of the mindblowing sex you just had giving you butterflies. you bite her again, much more gently, now, right on the collarbone. "shush." you demand.
"what, you're shy now?" sevika teases. she takes a long drag off her cigarette before stubbing it out out and wrapping you up in her arms. "babe. i like it when you bite me. feels good to know i'm making you feel that good but... i also just like it. the feeling, and the bruises, 'n the way i get to show everyone you're fuckin' me... in fact, i'd like it if you did it even harder. 'n more. could probably cum in my pants from your teeth on my throat..." sevika admits, her voice trailing off and her eyes darting away from yours.
you chuckle and kiss her cheek. "who's shy now?"
sevika just smacks your ass.
so... you start biting her harder. in your time with sevika you've learned how to treat all kinds of wounds, so you aren't as hesitant as you might be to make her bleed. plus, sevika really fucking does love it.
she gets this excited little smirk going on her face when you start gnawing at her flesh, and when you finally really sink your teeth in (usually on her thighs, just a few inches away from her dripping cunt) she just melts. she whimpers and collapses against the bed and sometimes, if you're lucky, you can see her clit twitch in pleasure, despite the fact that you haven't touched her yet.
the first time she cums from it, it's an accident on your part.
you're at the last drop with her, drunk and grinding and making out sloppily in your little corner of the bar, and some woman across the room keeps eyeing her.
eventually, you pull away from her with a huff, smacking her shoulder a bit.
"w-what?" sevika asks, a little out of breath. you have to bite your lip to concentrate enough to get your words out, to resist the temptation of just kissing her again.
"d'you know her?" you ask, gesturing to the woman.
sevika quickly looks over her shoulder, a frown on her face. "w-who?"
"the bitch that's eyeing you like she's gonna be the one going home with you tonight." you growl.
a smile ticks up at the side of sevika's lips, and you scowl. "jealous, baby?"
"no. jealousy would be if you weren't mine. but you are. i'm possessive."
sevika's smile only grows, and she turns her back on her admirer to wrap her arms back around your waist. "i dunno her, love. even if i did, she'd be the last fuckin' thing on my mind tonight. first thing is your ass. second is your tongue. third and forth right here." sevika says as she squeezes your tits. you can't keep your giggles in.
"what about my teeth?" you tease.
sevika shudders, and before you know it, you're being pinned to a wall.
you groan in her mouth, wrapping one of your legs around her hips as she grinds against you. she shoves a hand under your shirt, groping your stomach and tits as you kiss.
you grab her lower lip between your teeth, and sevika freezes, hot little puffs of air hitting your face as she waits in anticipation for your next move.
you give her lip a soft nip before letting it go and ducking down to lick at her throat.
"ba-baby. please." sevika whines, her hips bucking against you in uncoordinated, sloppy little thrusts.
fuck. fuck. you don't have any real reason to worry, not when sevika's begging for your teeth in her throat. it's so hot it makes you dizzy, and you lose yourself for just a second as you clamp your teeth down into her flesh, hard.
sevika stiffens, squeaks, and then starts to shiver, her body collapsing against you and pinning you to the wall. you wrap your arms around her waist, groaning into her skin as she shivers against you.
"f-fuck!" sevika shouts. you pull away from her throat, blood and spit connecting your lips to her skin as you nuzzle her cheek. "fuck. fuck, i love you." sevika sighs.
you giggle, kissing her scars. "i love you, too, baby. can't believe you just came in your fuckin' pants for me."
sevika chuckles. "'s hot watching you get jealous, or possessive, or whatever." she says with a shrug. "'n i really fuckin' like your teeth."
you gently nip her cheek, then press your bloody lips to hers.
sevika moans at the taste.

caitlyn kiramman x reader, future!caitvi x reader
could be established!caitlyn x reader as well.
caitlyn returns home to you from the undercity.
it's been over a day last you last heard from caitlyn. which is odd because you and caitlyn talk all the time. about your day and how it's going; about the little things in life that don't have to be shared but need to be when it's the two of you.
her mother is worried, asks if you've seen or heard from caitlyn. asks if she's with you because if caitlyn's not at home or work, she's always with you.
your heart squeezes in your chest when you tell cassandra that caitlyn isn't here. you can feel her anxiety through the phone. and if she's anxious, you can't imagine the mess her husband is in.
you know, logically, that caitlyn is fine. she's always been tough—has never failed in managing herself. she's the strongest person you know. lithe and sharp, precise and dangerous. she's never gone down without a fight, and you know this isn't the case now.
but you can't help but fear that maybe, maybe she isn't so lucky this time. that she wandered into a fight that she couldn't handle, and now she's dead in an alley somewhere and—
there's a quiet tapping at your bedroom window, and it snaps you out of your spiral. you don't go to it immediately, erring on the side of caution as you've been trained to do. the tapping sounds out again, but this time, it's louder and more forceful. brows furrowed, you reach for your pistol, which you conveniently keep by your side at all times, and slowly make your way towards the window.
you hear someone picking the lock, just as you unlatch the pistol's safety and take aim. you watch as the window opens and are about to make yourself (and your pistol) known when you see her.
caitlyn.
who's staring back at you, wide-eyed, along with a pink-haired woman who's mirroring caitlyn's look of shock.
you all stare at each other for a moment before you put the safety back on your gun and loudly say, "what the fuck?"
that's all it takes to have caitlyn snorting, a tiny smile curving her lips, as she replies, "nice to see you too."
"shut the fuck up," you hiss angrily but you're hurrying towards her so you can take her into your arms. you feel how she instantly relaxes into your embrace, hiding her face in your hair as all her muscles untense. "where have you been? your parents have been worried sick and were about to send a search party out for you."
caitlyn pulls back a little so she can smile down at you. "just my parents were worried?" she teases, and you look at her, unimpressed. then you look to the woman who had been holding caitlyn up and say, "and i'm assuming you saved her ass from whatever trouble she got herself in?"
the woman blinks before letting out a laugh, amused. "you could say so," she replies. "does she always get herself into situations she shouldn't be in?"
"yes," you say before you notice the wound on caitlyn's thigh and sigh. "yes, she does." you slip around to caitlyn's other side so now both you and the woman are holding her up. "thank you for bringing her back in one piece,...?"
"vi," the woman responds, smiling. "the name's vi and it's no problem. cupcake wouldn't have survived if it weren't for me."
you snort, smiling up at a visibly displeased caitlyn. "cupcake?" you taunt and yelp when caitlyn purposefully leans all her weight onto you.
"shut up," she grumbles, cheeks tinged a light pink, and you share a cheeky look with vi.
"sure thing, cupcake." you chirp happily.

OIL & WATER - VI X CAIT
pair - Vi x Caitlyn (arcane)
synopsis - years had gone by, Caitlyn was the chief of police and vi was, well, vi was too busy living in the past. Something about an illegal fighting pit was brought to Cait’s attention, and she decided to check it out. What she didn’t expect was to see her ex girlfriend there, and not only that, she was one of the champions.
tags - NOT SPOILERS!!! smut, blood mentioned, switch vi, switch cait, pussy & ass eating, fingering, humping, kinda sad idk
It was humid that night, and the air felt more dense down here than on topside, fumes from surrounding factories making it hard to breathe.
Caitlyn had her reasons for being in the lanes tonight. It was brought to her attention earlier in the month, some commotion surrounding pit fighting.
As far as she’s aware though, it had nothing to do with shimmer, Jinx or Silco’s still very much active posey, even in death, that being said, she couldn’t give less of a fuck, but being chief and all, the least she could do is check it out.
Thankfully, or maybe not depending on who you ask, the tips she was fed were right, and this wasn’t a complete waste of time.
It was an unassuming location, tall, but fit right into the neighboring buildings, wedged between the two and countless others that stretched out into a narrow maze.
As she stood, waiting, watching, the dim light outside flickered a green haze as she observed the people leaving and entering- consistent and rough, definitely the type of place she should’ve brought backup for.
But, as stated previously, she didn’t give a shit.
She started to walk towards the door, pulling the jacket tighter to her chest, and kept her head low. She wasn’t in her uniform, and tried the best to wear something to make her fit in, but her memory of the fashion down here was a little hazy.
She entered, heavy mental blaring loudly over the many speakers, the crowd even louder.
A man’s voice louder than the rest came over the intercom, the reverb making it hard to distinguish, but the crowd seemed to understand, and they liked what they were hearing.
As she continued further into the building towards the center where the action seemed to be, she stumbled, a hard shoulder trusting into hers.
“Fuckin’ watch it.” The man spat as Cait held her arm, his gold teeth flashing.
She definitely didn’t belong here.
Luckily for her, the man continued on without it escalating further than a scowl on his face and insults muttered under his breath.
Or maybe he’s the one who’s lucky.
She approached the buildings sunken center, doors on either side of the pit opening, and more incoherent yells coming from the announcer and the crowd as it was time for the show to start.
On the left, a large man, freakishly large, his mouth open, and face red as he yelled into the crowd, fists raised up high.
“Jesus”, Cait shuddered in thought, holding the edge of her hoodie by the side of her face, shielding her profile from those in close proximity.
Caitlyn’s mind raced as she absorbed the environment around her, surely, no sane person would go against him, or if they did, they didn’t plan on leaving here tonight alive, which was the only conclusion that seemed logical to her.
She stared at the other door, pitch dark on the other side, and waited for the opponent, but seconds passed and no one showed.
Maybe he chickened out? That wouldn’t be totally irrational.
Caits vision shifts to the man in the ring as he circled around, his fists banging on the metal walls like he was in an adrenaline induced rage, yells from the impatient crowd only fueling it.
But that’s when the man stops yelling, a stone cold expression taking over as he looked to the other side of the pit.
Her eyes followed to where he stared.
The second champion had arrived.
It wasn’t a man at all, but a woman, hair jet black, and smudged makeup around her eyes and down her cheeks to match.
Cait couldn’t help the way her jaw slightly dropped, a fastening in her breath that also went unnoticed at this time.
They stood far apart on either side of the pit, circling around each other like they were waiting to see who would lunge first.
The man was clearly impatient, itching to land a hit on the women, whereas the woman was more composed- serious, but ready, holding her fists out in front of her, blood already soaking through the bandages around them.
Does she fight here often?
Was this even her first fight of the night?
Cait had many more questions and that woman could be the key to answering them.
A bell rings out, and the man doesn’t waste a second to fling himself across the pit, but just as his fists are about to connect, the woman dodges, avoiding his advances, and lands a blow to the center of his stomach.
He falters. It was slight but noticeable, not just to the crowed but to the women as well.
She uses this to her advantage, and lands another fist to his face, blood now smearing the side of his jaw.
This angered the man, causing him to lash out, and an eagerness to connect his tight fist to her body, but that’s where he fucked up.
She was smaller than him by a long shot and lighter too, one second she was there, centimeters away from feeling his wrath, and the next she was both behind him and somehow, also, one step ahead.
It was almost unlike anything Caitlyn has ever seen, but it reminded her of someone.
Cait continued to observe, eyes glued to the mystery fighter, and didn’t dare look away.
It’s like she was toying with him. At many times, she could’ve ended it, but didn’t, instead she’d let him get up only to send him flat on his face again.
It was equally impressive as it was terrifying, and if Caitlyn wasn’t a police officer sent to scope out the place, she’d be offering her respects to the woman.
To Cait, it couldn’t have been more than a 5 minute fight, like it was over before it even started.
But in the same breath, she saw it all so vividly, a slow motion picture that she could’ve described in agonizing detail.
The dark haired woman celebrated, her fists high up in the air and her teeth baring, the crowd sound colliding like a mixture of both celebrations and defeats.
Finally being able to put a face to the voice over the speaker, Caitlyn watched as the man, microphone still in hand, greeted the women in the pit, and held her and up by her wrist, the crowd chanting something that she couldn’t quite comprehend- A name of sorts, not a real one, but a stage name.
She was known here, that much was obvious, and based on her performance tonight, it’s no surprise.
The woman was handed what looked to be a satchel of money before she turned her back towards the crowd, and disappeared back into the dark from which she came.
In Caitlyn’s awe, she almost forgot why she was there in the first place- to gather information, and the one who she wanted to talk to was no longer in her sights.
She lets go of the railing, fingers slightly stiff from how hard she had gripped it during the fight, and leaves the building.
Once outside, Cait searched for the mystery woman, narrowing her eyes down the outstretched alleyways, but it was like she really had disappeared without a trace, in fact, almost no one was around.
Caitlyn should’ve left. Should’ve called it a night, and come back around the same time next week in hopes she’d see the woman again, but all logic seemed to slip from Cait’s mind.
Instead, she rounds the building, and walks down an even narrower corridor towards the back of the building, looking for another exit the women could’ve slipped out of.
Part of her didn’t expect to see her again, but she did.
The woman was about 50 feet away, walking with her back towards Caitlyn, the patch on the back of her leather jacket only noticeable as she passed under the sparse lightning.
Cait’s hands slipped into her pockets, head low, and kept at a safe distance as she began following the woman.
She could be dangerous for all Cait knows. And usually, Cait would think things like this through before doing something as stupid as following a stranger home in a territory that’s mostly unfamiliar to her.
But it’s not like she was going to engage with the women, not tonight anyway, and certainly not alone.
Sometimes, some things go well beyond your control, chief of police or not.
The woman once again disappears from Cait’s sight as she turns the corner up ahead, and Caitlyn uses this time to close the gap by picking up her pace.
As she rounded the corner, she pauses, confusion in her face once she realized the woman was gone.
Caitlyn continued anyway, thinking the woman had lived in the area, and she had simply turned off into one of the many smaller alleyways.
The heel of her boot rang a hallow clunk in the otherwise still surroundings as she stepped forward, a faint scuff being heard from behind just as she was about to take another.
“Who the fuck are you, and why are you following me?”
Cait freezes, slowly bringing her hands up to submit to whatever violence was about to pursue, but still didn’t answer the voice coming from behind.
Even her voice was familiar.
“Are you seriously going to make me ask you again?”
Cait could tell her silence only angered the women more, but she didn’t really think ahead enough to come up with a cover story in case something like this were to happen because she wasn’t supposed to fucking engage tonight.
“I- I’m a fan.” Caitlyn finally speaks, and god, did she feel stupid.
“What?”
“I saw you fight tonight. I’m a fan.”
This was Caitlyn giving it her all- a lie disguised as a genuine excuse for following her, but maybe that’s not all it was.
And this was also about the time the woman knew that this wasn’t just some random stranger.
“Caitlyn?”
Cait’s hands slowly descended back to her sides as she turns, coming face to face with the woman.
It took her a second, and in hindsight, it was so obvious- the fighting, and how she moved-
“Violet?”
They both stood there at a loss for words, and memories of the past on replay, their eyes being the projector.
There was a silence between the two, but there was so much being said in that silence, but none of it seemed to matter right now.
Cait’s eyes glanced down, noticing the droplets of blood on the cobblestone at Vi’s feet.
“You’re bleeding.”
Vi holds up her hand, the white of the gauze no longer visible from her wrist down.
She sighs, her chest noticeably falling deeper.
“Go home, Cait.”
Caitlyn watches in bitter suit agony as Vi turns away from her, leaving her behind, and it’s like she was right back in the place, her mother dead and Vi nowhere to be seen or heard from again.
“I can’t.”
Vi pauses, glancing back over her shoulder, and waited for an explanation that didn’t look like was coming.
Cait looks elsewhere, the floor, walls, the light post a few feet away… anywhere except for Vi, which is ironic because that’s the only thing she wanted to look at.
She stumbles over words, and opened her mouth before she shuts it again.
It’s been awhile since Cait has felt like this- so unsure and out of control, even lying, which isn’t out of the ordinary for her job, but it was never her taste.
She was desperate. Hurt.
It was a job turned personal, and she wanted answers.
“You’re under investigation. I’m going to have to ask some questions.”
Cait sounded like it didn’t phase her, professional and cold- like it totally didn’t make her want to crawl inside her skin and die, but that was far from the truth.
She hated this reunion, or more specifically, she hated how how often she thought about this day happening- the day she’d finally see her again, and this was never how it played out in her head.
“Really?” Vi scoffs a laugh, half turning to face her, “Now?”
All Caitlyn could do was nod, she didn’t dare trust the ever growing lump in her throat.
This isn’t how Vi thought it would go either, never wanting to be on the other end of Cait’s authority, well… not like this anyway. But at this point, Vi had nothing to lose, and she’d take whatever Caitlyn gave her.
Vi’s hands stung, sticky bandages clinging to open wounds as she shoved them into her jackets pockets.
“We can talk at my place. It’s just up there.”
She nodded her head in the direction further up the street, and started walking before Cait could suggest something else or resist altogether, but even in Cait’s sanest mind, she wouldn’t dare.
Caitlyn, against her better judgment and years of police training, followed Vi, but the thought of this being a set up also crossed her mind.
And almost, as if on cue, Vi looks over her shoulder, pulling a set of keys out of her back pocket.
“We’re here.”
She proceeds to lead Cait up a steep set of stairs, metal bars crumbling to rust under Cait’s hand as she approached the second story apartment, still keeping the idea of it being a set up in the back of her mind.
It was dark. Dingy. A polar opposite to what Caitlyn was used to.
Bottles littered the floor, some empty- most empty, others at varying levels of emptiness, and a small bed shoved into the corner.
As nonchalantly as Cait could, she looks around at the cramped space, and Vi did what she always did upon coming home- grabbing one of the said half empty bottles, and sat on the edge of her bed, taking heavy swigs between labored breaths.
Vi’s forearms rested on bent knees, only moving from this position to take another swig as blood continued to leak from her knuckles.
“You wanna talk so talk.”
Again, another sip, and a gash from Vi’s eyebrow that hadn’t been noticed before started to bleed, a thin trail of crimson flowing down the side of her face.
A bitter taste filled Caitlyn’s mouth, lingering resentment she thought she was well past rising to the surface.
“So this is what you’ve been up to?” Cait scoffs out, sounding somehow even more bitter than she’d ever expected, immediately wishing to take it back.
Vi either didn’t hear or she was pretending that Cait’s words weren’t like a fucking dagger to her heart, taking a final swig before setting the bottle aside.
She began unwrapping the bandages, her lip slightly twitching as the fabric peeled from open skin, and as much as she tried to keep her pain hidden from Cait, it wasn’t working.
Caitlyn kneels to the ground, and pulls out a handkerchief with some fancy emblem sewed into the corner.
“Here. You’re going to bleed more if you keep shaking like that.”
She grabs Vi by the wrist, holding her still, and started dabbing the area clean.
It was so gentle. Cautious. Almost healing upon contact.
It’s been so long since Vi had been handled with such care. The last time also being Caitlyn right before shit hit the fan.
It was against everything in Vi’s nature to let someone else care for her, but this time, she found it impossible to refuse.
“I thought you were here to arrest me, not play doctor.” Vi hisses, the plain cloth now dosed in the high proofed liquor she had just been drinking, and it definitely being on purpose on Caitlyn’s behalf.
“I’m not going to arrest you, Violet. I told you, I just had some questions.”
Vi’s eyes rolled, a huff passing her lips, “So why aren’t you asking them?”
Caitlyn thought for a moment, and moved to be seated next to Vi, using firm grip with her index and thumb on Vi’s chin to move her head to the side, and started to clean the cut to her eyebrow.
“How long have you been fighting there?”
She asked, or more so demanded, really playing into the scary cop archetype, but that clearly wasn’t the case as she cleaned away at the girls soon to be scar.
Again, Vi winced, trying to pull away from the burning sensation on her eyebrow, but Cait wouldn’t let her get far.
“Dunno. A few months, half a year… Maybe more.” Vi answers, although not very helpful, and she knew it too.
Vi knows exactly how long it had been, not necessarily the fighting, but how long it had been since she’d seen Cait, just so happened they were one and the same.
Caitlyn’s hand lingered a little longer than needed, after noticing (and hoping Vi didn’t) she pulls away.
“Who runs the operation?”
Cait looks over her shoulder after a few seconds of no reply, only to see Vi lying down on the mattress, and her eyes hidden behind her arm that was draped across her face.
Vi chuckled, a half hearted one at that. Her canines flashing briefly, “Why would I tell you that?”
She moved to her elbows, resting her weight on them, and looked to Cait who seemed to be a bit distracted.
Could be because something that has never happened to her just happened- not getting her way, or in this case, not getting her questions answered, but it wasn’t that.
She was distracted by the sudden intimacy. Both of them being so close on a bed, dim lighting just adding to the heightened senses, and she was distracted by Violet herself. Sure, it’s the worse Cait had ever seen the girl, including the time she was stabbed and bleeding out. But it was different. She looked stronger, more mature, and all the exposed skin that Caitlyn wasn’t used to seeing was no longer hidden away due to the limited coverage of her chest bindings.
And it certainly didn’t help that whenever Cait was near her, even back then, the tension was suffocating.
Vi has lost a lot before this moment, but now, it’s Caitlyn’s turn to lose.
Caitlyn joins Vi, and mimicked her position on the bed, fingers interlocked over her stomach as silence crept in.
They both stared ahead at the cracked, flaky ceiling, a silent mental game to see who would look at the other first, but Violet was especially weak in that field.
“Is this really why you came? To ask questions about the pit?”
Vi asks, sounding so small, so quiet like regardless like of what the answer was, the idea of it possibly leading to something bigger terrified the girl.
Caitlyn turned to face Vi, tucking an arm under her head.
To Vi, it felt too good to be true to be with Cait like this like that one time all those years ago when things were ever so slightly easier. On nights where she’d had gotten too drunk too fast, and too alone, she’d fall asleep to that memory, but now, it felt like a lifetime had passed since then, and neither of them resembled who they used to be.
“I was just checking it out and then I saw you fight…” Caitlyn trails off, and her eyes squeezed shut, letting more silence intrude, “I didn’t know it was you until you said something.”
Vi thinks for a moment, the pouding in her heart growing a little louder as Caitlyn turned onto her side to face the once pink haired girl.
Caitlyn speaks first, of course she did. Vi was too in her head, too anxious to engage a conversation without the promise of a stutter or slurry of pent up emotions all coming undone at once.
“I don’t care about the pit, Vi… never did.”
Caitlyn’s body tightens, arms cradling around herself as she didn’t dare look Vi in the eyes.
In a way, it was a confession, an apology. A way of saying that even though a lot of time has passed, things done that shouldn’t have been allowed, and words spoken that never should have, she still always thought of her.
“Then why are you here now and not then?”
Caitlyn fills with dread. Every ounce of that question felt like she was being faced with all her regrets because the truth is, she didn’t have an answer. It was everything and nothing all at once, an endless loop of what felt like excuses.
This is when Cait finally looks up, meeting the icy blue of Vi’s eyes that seemed a whole lot dimmer than what she remembered.
“I thought that’s what you wanted… for me to stay away. I thought it would be… easier.”
Caitlyn couldn’t have sounded more guilty, more afraid by an impeding reaction. But Vi isn’t like her.
“Do you still think it’s easier?”
Vi asked, a humor hidden behind obvious hurt that it wasn’t the explanation she wanted, but she’d happily take, reaching a hand out a little further on the mattress between them, praying Cait would take the bait.
And Caitlyn did.
First, it was hand on hand, then fingers intertwined, and breathing fastened.
It was the hardest decision she ever had to make, but the question had gone completely forgotten as hand touches turned into opened mouth kisses, and Caitlyn’s fingers wrapped up in the longer layers of Vi’s hair as she climbed on top.
Vi’s hands were on Cait’s back, running along the length of it, and in the divot of her spine- feeling, reeling the shape of her, memorizing every detail in a matter of seconds in case this was just another “easy” decision on Caitlyn’s behalf.
But there was also no way in hell Vi was going to make the same mistake twice.
“Say you mean it.” Vi mumbled between the kisses to Caitlyn’s chest, ridding her of her jacket just moments prior.
“What?”
Caitlyn’s confusion didn’t stop there as Vi hooked an arm across her back, maneuvering them both with ease so that Cait was underneath her.
There was an eagerness- a lack of regard that Caitlyn felt from this position- the familiarity of it, and what it has led to in the past like a drug that you worked so hard to rid yourself of just for it all to crumble in an instant when laid out in front of you- or in this case, on top of you.
“Say you mean this.”
Vi’s tone emphasizes, and in any other context, it could've come off as demanding or harsh, but right now, it was unmistakably desperate.
Vi’s eyes lock onto Cait’s as she lowers her head down, her tongue connecting with the hot flesh across Cait’s lower stomach.
A hum is pulled from Caitlyn’s lips- subtle but there, and Vi took it as permission, hooking her long fingers into the waistband of Caitlyn’s pants and proceeded to pull them down just enough to see how far the lace of Caitlyn’s black panties went, which to Vi’s surprise, went pretty far- all the way type far.
She thought she was going to make Caitlyn work for it. Beg for a touch, a feel, a taste… Some sort of payback was expected, but that was before the kiss, or the way Caitlyn looked at her, and definitely before Vi got a hint of her taste through the lace.
“I mean it-“ Caitlyn stutters, her head falling a little heavier against the mattress as Vi’s mouth envelops Caitlyn from down below, lace heavying with the spit-precum mixture.
Whether Caitlyn meant it or it was just another empty promise to get what she wanted didn’t matter to Vi. She needed it just as much as Caitlyn did- the orgasm, the empty promise, either would suffice when your reality is beating the shit out of people before they could beat you up first, and drinking until the term “blackout drunk” didn’t seem like it was enough.
Before Vi, or Caitlyn for that matter, could think about the consequences or the impending repeated heartbreak that would come from this, Vi slipped the few inches from the bed to the floor. Her knees clashed against the cold concrete, pulling Cait along with an arm wrapped under her thigh and her other hand busy, an index finger hooking the small patch of cotton where Caitlyn’s pussy was previously hidden behind, pulling it to the side.
“Holy shit… I’ve missed you.” Vi exhaled, unsure if the statement was directed at Caitlyn herself or the part of Cait that Vi’s face was centimeters away from.
Vi continued slow licks, bring her head up every so often to more closely observe Caitlyn’s movements- the rise of her chest, the soft mews and almost wines of contempt when Vi would stop, even if it was only for a few seconds.
She showed incredible restraint, not because of the payback that she promised herself she’d get, but because she wanted to make it last, savor it, but Caitlyn on the other hand wasn’t as sentimental.
“Stop-“ Caitlyn starts but is cut off. A slight clench in her jaw as she winces, and a stinging sensation spreading high on her inner thigh where Vi’s teeth bit down.
“stop teasing.”
Vi tongue slid across the freshly made mark, soothing it before looking up, and meeting a less than enthusiastic Cait.
She chuckles, a quick breath leaving her nostrils, “Oh? You don’t like how I do it?”
Vi’s teeth flash, and the corner of her lip upturned.
Maybe this was her payback.
“Show me how you want it then.”
Caitlyn stared for a second before moving, a split decision that showcased just how fragile her patience truly was.
She gets up, hand and knees on the mattress, and held a hand out for Vi to take, which she does.
Cait pulls her onto the bed, putting her hands on the front of Vi’s shoulders as she climbs on top to straddle her waist.
Vi in all of this was a little starstruck, going along with whatever Caitlyn wanted even if it meant imminent death, but luckily for her, that seemed like a far off possibility right now.
Caitlyn reaches behind to unclasp her bar, letting the straps fall naturally down her arms before tossing it the short amount of distance to the floor, and Vi did her best to not stare, but old habits die hard.
Instead of a witty remark on Caitlyn’s behalf about “having some dignity” or “my eyes are up here” she welcomed the attention, even encouraged Vi to go beyond just looking, but Vi didn’t need the extra incentive.
Her hands danced along the sides of Caitlyn’s torso, squeezing her smallest parts with the cuts and scraps long forgotten before they reached her breasts.
She cupped them, letting the natural curve guide her fingers, and didn’t stop until Caitlyn leans forward to kiss her.
First, it was slow, pecks overlapping into drawn out kisses before tongues intertwined into a maze with no beginning or end, and hands cradling, holding parts of each other that have been neglected of touch for far too long.
For Caitlyn, it was nice at first to have this and nothing else, but the itch was building into a painful rupture, and Vi wasn’t far behind.
Cait’s hand glided down Vis stomach, fingers curling over the ridges of her prominent abs until they’re forced to a stop by the heavy hardware of Vi’s pants.
“Can I?” She whispered against Vi’s lips, heavy breathing filling the momentary silence before an answer could be spoke, but it wouldn’t take long.
With permission granted, Caitlyn lowers herself to mirror Vi position from just a few minutes before, undoing the buckle, and with the help of Vi, she pulls the ripped, dark denim from her legs.
As soon at the warmth of Cait’s mouth became the only thing Vi could feel, a tear was almost shed- gratitude or the longing for things to stay like this forever had become overwhelming even for a girl like Vi.
Vi’s hands reached, fingers intertwining with the dark blue hair that flowed loosely around Caitlyn’s face, a total opposite to the tight updo Cait had worn not even 20 minutes ago, now having a slight wave to its usual unbending pattern.
“Fuck, Cait-“ Vi groaned, swallowing it down as she bit her lip. “-I’m gonna cum.”
Already? But Caitlyn just started?
Maybe her first impression of Vi after the time apart had failed her. Surely, she had different girls in and out of this room, sometimes more than one in a single day, but clearly that wasn’t the case.
Cait eased up, applying less pressure, and only allowing the lightest of touches to Vi’s clit before stopping all together to tempt a finger inside.
“Oh fuck-“
Vi tried sitting up to look at Caitlyn, a plummet in strength as Caitlyn’s knuckle disappears inside, and shortly after, another finger was added.
Cait continued like this- in and out, slow, agonizingly slow at first, pulling all the way out, before stuffing her full, over and over again she did this until she picked up speed.
The light pressure of Caitlyn’s lips on Vi’s inner thighs proved to be little distraction to the pressure building deep inside Vi’s stomach, but seemed to be more effective when Cait’s lips reconnected to her clit.
Vi heaved, the bindings around her chest tightening even more as her chest rose deeply, and her whines softening into a delicate cry, which was a rare occasion for her.
But she was sensitive, starved, also didn’t help Cait happened to be quite the perfectionist, even in sex.
VI’s hands threw down, pressing on the back of Caitlyn’s head, and held her there with her hips rolling with the motion of Cait’s tongue, and without a minute to waste, Caitlyn’s mouth filled with her, over pouring until it was dripping down to the peak of her chin.
Despite the hard-hitting orgasm Vi just endured, it didn’t take long before she pulls Cait onto the bed, and with Cait’s mouth still glistening with Vi’s climax, she kisses her, tongue lodging itself deep into the back of Cait’s throat. As she’s doing this, she’s molding Caitlyn, putting her into position before she could process.
Vi’s hand is on the back of Caitlyn’s neck, kissing her deeper and deeper before she stops, a thin trail of spit breaking as Vi pulls away.
“Vi…” Caitlyn breaths, eyes glossy, and on the brink of tears as Vi’s hand trails along her spine, applying pressure.
“Do you trust me?” She whispered, maintaining eye contact as her lips grazed Caitlyn’s shoulder.
Caitlyn’s bottom lip is taken hostage for a brief moment between her teeth before releasing, giving a slight nod, but enthusiastic nonetheless.
Vi is brought to her knees, positioning herself behind Cait, and her hand on Caitlyn’s back lowering her down.
With cheeks squished against the mattress below and unable to see Vi directly, Caitlyn could do nothing but anticipate what’s to come, and because she couldn’t see Vi, the touches to her ass and inner thighs only felt amplified.
Now, this is where Vi hand all the power, all the time in the world to see Caitlyn how she’d often think about her in her dreams, specifically on nights where her hand couldn’t come close to ever being enough.
Her hand is dragged along Cait’s back, fallowing it all the way down to the space between Cait’s thighs, and cradled her cunt in the palm of her hand, letting the moisture soak through her skin.
With this little amount of pressure, Caitlyn pushes her hips back into Vi’s touch, the arch in her back deepening, and her cunt clenching at what’s to come.
Seeing how eager Caitlyn was for her touch, Vi had to feel it for herself, so she hooked the thin stitches of the laces with her fingers and pulled, and with a harsh, quick yank, it broke away from Cait’s hips.
Another whine is emitted as Caitlyn attempted to look back at Vi, who was lowering herself to be eye level with Cait’s lower set of lips, pulling her ass apart to more clearly see how much of a mess she was, even when she tried so hard to seem composed.
She licked, and licked, and licked. There wasn’t an inch of Caitlyn that hadn’t been touched by Vi’s tongue. They had no off-limits, and the term “gross” wasn’t even in their vocabulary. They had nothing to be embarrassed about when it was just them two, and Caitlyn is learning now that even after years apart, it’s still the same.
Even the lockjaw that was threatening Vi’s mouth didn’t stop her- her thumbs centered between Caitlyn’s thighs, physically holding her lips apart as she flexed inside her, pushing the hot muscle as deep as it could possibly go, Caitlyn’s muffled whines sounding a whole lot less muffled even with her face buried in the sheets.
That’s when Caitlyn found some strength- a mere ounce of it, and she used this strength to reach a hand behind in search of the only hand she wanted to hold.
She squeezed until her nails left indents on the back of Vi’s hand, and Vi knew she was close.
Vi narrowed in, working through the sore jaw and neck, squeezing the plush of Cait’s thighs until the skin around her pads turned white.
Caitlyn cursed as she came, and in the same breath, she also spoke Vi’s name so sweetly that it made up for the obscenities.
Vi could’ve stopped there, but what then?
Caitlyn would spend the night?
Move in?
One of those is more plausible than the other, but Vi didn’t like her chances.
As Caitlyn laid there, stomach flat to the bed, and her head resting on forearms, and seemingly trying to catch a breath, Vi crawled on top of her, bandagings coming loose as she lowers herself onto Cait, and kissed her across her shoulders.
It was sweet- possibly the most innocent form of physical touch, but that’s when Vi’s creeping hand continued to lowers itself until her wrist was snug between Caitlin’s ass.
VI’s head lowers, her bottom lip grazing Cait’s ear, “Tell me if it’s too much.”
Her breath is heavy, not from exhaustion or something similar. She was insatiable, greedy, and the guilt was loud for what she was about to do, but her hunger was louder.
“Okay..” Caitlyn responded, her eyes widening a bit as Vi’s hand grabbed the underside of her jaw to turn her face to feed Vi’s greedy lips once more, sinking two fingers inside.
A gasp disconnects them briefly as the full length of Vi’s fingers disappears inside but is quickly taken ahold of by Vi's greed once again, whose motion of her wrist was quickly growing in pace.
One orgasm had passed, then two…
Caitlyn cried out, all her strength exhausted as she squeezed at the forearm that was seat-belted across her chest, and Vi’s less busy hand ever so gently fitted around Cait’s neck, lightly applying pressure with her fingers to the sides.
It was so sweet- a little rough and almost sadistic if you noticed the details- the tear-stained sheets, the handling of Caitlyn’s lower half, but, overall, sweet and undeniably passionate.
As Caitlyn cried out- louder, and her voice on the brink of a scream, Vi face muzzles into the side of Cait’s cheek, and places a kiss to the tear-stain by her eye, catching the saltwater with her lips, “I wanted to marry you, did you know that?”
“You left, and I wanted to marry you. I still do.”
Again, Caitlyn was left unable to reply. She couldn’t form a sentence, nonetheless have a conversation of this degree.
So, instead, she says her name, a meek “vi” leaving her lips as she looks over her shoulder to look into her eyes.
“Please.”
Like clockwork, Vi did what she was asked, and kept a steady, consistent rhythm.
Sweat-drenched hair stuck to Caitlyn’s forehead, and her nails curling into Vi’s skin as her screams continued for a few more seconds, each time getting cut short as Vi’s fingers collided with her cervix until the fluid seeped out around Vi’s hand.
She retreats, and pulls out carefully to minimize Cait’s discomfort before lying on her back next to her, heavy breathing shared between the pair.
Vi didn’t speak. She couldn’t. This was her one opportunity to get her back- fix things to be how they were supposed to, and she fucked it all up by letting her emotions get out of hand.
It wasn’t even Vi’s problem to fix, Caitlyn left, not her, but it was in Vi’s nature to try.
Vi rolls into her side, hovering a hand over Caitlyn’s shoulder, hesitation upon not seeing her face.
“Cait?”
Her hand finally connected, a pit in her stomach starting to form, but quickly melted away as Caitlyn looks at her.
Vi knew that look, and she knew Caitlyn enough to know that not all is lost.
Caitlyn couldn’t promise it today, tomorrow, or even a year from now.
But until that day comes, no more year long absences and no more drowning in the ‘what could’ve beens’ of the past, but someday, when things are less fucked up, and they’re able to give each other the versions of themselves they used to be, there will always be a home waiting for them.

THE PRICE OF BETRAYAL
Caitlyn x f!reader
Synopsis: Caitlyn had chose Maddie over you weeks before the battle, but after everything, you still loved her. Now in recovery, she seemed to realize her mistake of not loving you too.
Request: @nyrasproblm
The air in Piltover was heavy with smoke, the stench of burnt rubble lingering as the sounds of battle echoed through the streets. Everything had changed, and everything was in chaos. Yet, amidst the destruction and bloodshed, your mind couldn’t escape one thought: Caitlyn.
It had been days since the final battle, the battle that had torn apart Piltover’s fragile peace and brought so much loss. And yet, in the midst of everything, Caitlyn’s absence felt like the heaviest blow of all. The woman who had once been your partner, your love, was now fractured, not just physically, but emotionally.
You hadn’t seen her since the moment the battle had ended, when everything had blurred into confusion. Caitlyn had been injured—gravely so. The doctors had said she was lucky to be alive after shard had nearly pierced vital organs in her abdomen. But that wasn’t the worst of it. The worst was the blindness in her left eye. The doctors had done all they could, but there was no fixing it.
And worse still, Maddie, the woman who had crept into Caitlyn’s life, who had pushed you away in ways you still couldn’t fully comprehend, had betrayed them all. It was Maddie’s treachery that had nearly cost Caitlyn her life.
Now, you stood outside the makeshift infirmary, the weight of your emotions pressing on your chest. You had heard the whispers—the murmurs of what had happened in the battle. Caitlyn had been forced to kneel, Maddie holding a gun to her neck, ready to end it all. It was only by the miracle of Mel’s powers that the bullet hadn’t killed Caitlyn. Instead, it had been deflected, and Maddie was dead, a casualty of her own treachery.
You had felt a sickening mix of relief and sorrow when you had heard that Maddie was gone. Caitlyn had survived, but what had she survived for?
The woman who had once been your closest confidante had turned away from you, choosing Maddie over you, letting a wedge form between you both that could never be erased.
Yet, here you were. You hadn’t left Piltover. You hadn’t abandoned Caitlyn. Not because you thought it was the right thing to do, but because part of you still believed in her, still loved her.
It had started slowly, Caitlyn pulling away from you, her words sharp, her eyes cold. At first, you thought it was just the stress, the weight of her duties as a lawmaker and protector of Piltover. But when she started spending more and more time with Maddie, something shifted. Something in her changed.
You had tried to ignore it. Tried to chalk it up to nothing. But the truth was in her eyes every time she looked at you. The distance, the icy politeness, the way she no longer seemed to care about your presence. It hurt in ways you hadn’t expected. You had been there for her through everything, always ready to stand by her side. But when she needed you most, she had turned away.
You had confronted her one night, desperate to understand, to find answers. But all Caitlyn had done was shrug you off with a cold, emotionless stare. She had told you she didn’t have time for you anymore. The words cut deeper than any blade could.
It wasn’t just the fact that Caitlyn was with Maddie, it was the way she treated you as if you didn’t matter anymore. As if everything you’d shared, every moment, every laugh, every quiet word, had meant nothing to her.
The betrayal had shattered you.
Now, as you entered the dimly lit infirmary, the first thing you saw was Caitlyn, lying in a cot, her bandaged head turned away from the light. Her right eye was closed, and the left was bandaged, a patch covering the wound that had taken her sight. Her breath was shallow, and she didn’t seem to notice you as you stood in the doorway, your heart aching.
You took a hesitant step forward. “Caitlyn,” you whispered, your voice thick with emotion. “Caitlyn, it’s me.”
Her head turned slightly, the faintest trace of recognition flickering across her face. But her gaze was distant, cold, as if she was afraid to let anyone get too close.
“What do you want?” Her voice was low, strained, but still sharp.
You felt a pang in your chest at the bitterness in her words. This wasn’t the Caitlyn you had known—the one who would have laughed at your jokes, who would have held you close on stormy nights. This was someone else, someone broken and distant.
“I came to see if you were okay,” you said, trying to keep your voice steady despite the wave of hurt that threatened to drown you. “I came to make sure you were alive. You nearly—”
“I’m fine,” Caitlyn interrupted, her voice weaker now. “You don’t need to worry about me.”
You took a deep breath, trying to steady your racing heart. “I never stopped worrying, Caitlyn. Even when you pushed me away, even when you chose Maddie over me.”
There was silence in the room, and you could feel her stiffen, the air between you heavy with unspoken words.
“Y/N,” she said finally, her voice breaking ever so slightly, “I don’t know what you want from me.”
Your eyes narrowed, the sting of old wounds still fresh. “I don’t want anything from you, Caitlyn. Not anymore. But I never wanted you to treat me like I was nothing. You didn’t even give me a chance to explain. You didn’t even care.”
The words tumbled out before you could stop them, a flood of emotion you had been holding back for so long.
“I loved you, Caitlyn. I would have been there for you. But you…” You couldn’t finish the sentence. The pain of it was too much.
Caitlyn turned her head away, her jaw clenched as she stared at the ceiling. “I made a mistake,” she whispered, her voice cracking. “I was wrong. I let my fear control me. I pushed you away because I thought you wouldn’t understand, I thought I needed Maddie to feel something. To feel anything. But I was wrong.”
The silence that followed was heavy, and you could feel the weight of her regret in the room. Caitlyn, the strong, proud woman who had never apologized for anything, was finally admitting to her mistakes.
“I’m so sorry, Y/N,” she whispered, her voice barely audible. “I was a fool. I never should have treated you like that. You didn’t deserve any of it.”
You stood there, unsure of how to respond. You had spent so many sleepless nights wondering if Caitlyn would ever come to this moment, wondering if she would ever realize how much she had hurt you. And now, here she was—broken, humbled, but still reaching out to you.
“You nearly died, Caitlyn,” you said, your voice softening. “And I nearly lost you. I would’ve never forgiven myself if you—if you…”
Your throat closed, the weight of your own words choking you.
“I didn’t know what I was doing,” Caitlyn admitted, her voice trembling. “I didn’t know how to deal with everything. But I shouldn’t have pushed you away. I shouldn’t have let Maddie come between us. She was a mistake.”
You could see the raw pain in her eyes as she spoke, the depth of her regret. And as much as the hurt still stung, you realized that Caitlyn was trying, she was trying to make things right.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen now,” she continued, her voice growing steadier, “but I want to try. If you’ll let me, I want to fix this. I want you in my life again, Y/N.”
The words hung in the air between you both, fragile, uncertain, but full of hope.
You looked at her—at the woman who had broken your heart, the woman who had now come to you with nothing but her vulnerability—and something inside you softened. The road ahead wouldn’t be easy. There would be scars, both visible and hidden, that would take time to heal. But in that moment, as you looked at Caitlyn, you realized that maybe, just maybe, you could find your way back to each other.
With a small, tentative step forward, you reached for her hand. “We’ll figure it out, Caitlyn. Together.”
Caitlyn’s eyes softened, and for the first time in what felt like forever, you saw a flicker of warmth in her gaze. It wasn’t the same as beforeit couldn’t be. But it was a start.
And that was enough, to both you and her.
A/N: Oh my god, final fic of the day (literally been cranking these out since 12 am). I hope that this one was a good way to end the day off, and tomorrow should be just as crazy (multitasking fics again).

I love the portraits of the Kiramman women.
(I should mention that I don’t know the LoL lore—I’ve never played it, so if I’m way off, I’m playing my ‘joker card’ here!)
I really wanted to put the images of these portraits up close here so we can all take the time to look at them.
Next, I have to say we’re lucky they kept having children with all this badassery, aka lesbian energy 😆.
In the first portrait, we see a bow—precision shooters, mother to daughter. Ships in the background with one ship in front; she seems to be looking at it, probably with a desire to set off on an adventure?
In the second painting, we see the Kiramman woman standing on a boat (or at least near the water), holding a spyglass. We can assume she realized her mother’s dreams (and her own) to explore, and the Kiramman key lies on the desk.
I find the spyglass quite symbolic, as it represents both exploration and curiosity, as well as precision marksmanship (like a rifle scope).
Curiosity & precision, Explorers and sharpshooters.
In the last one, we see Cassandra seated at her desk—the same desk where we immediately find Caitlyn. with her screen and the device to insert the key.
And do you all see anything else in the portraits? I’m sure I missed plenty of details!

The sound of knuckles meeting hard concrete echoed throughout the cell block, small grunts following close behind. "You know we don't get clean bandages for another two weeks Vi, your knuckles are going to get infected at this rate." you called out. Suddenly the pounding stopped and a small chuckle was heard. "Don't worry about me bun, just trying to blow off some steam," she said, pacing around her cell instead of beating up a wall. "You should really get some sleep. Long day tomorrow"
"No such thing as a short day here." you groaned. Carefully you laid down on the ground of the cell. Vi's was only a few doors down, close enough to talk just above a whisper but way too far away to see each other. Both of you always slept against the walls that faced each other. It was the closest thing to sleeping next to each other in this shithole. Aside from whenever you two napped during free time of course. Even then Vi stayed wide awake to ensure you were okay.
"Goodnight Vi, wake me up if anything happens, okay?" "I will Y/N, I promise"
That was nearly two hours ago. You were sound asleep by now, the cold, hard floor no longer keeping you up. It was something every prisoner in Stillwater had to get used to. Mattresses weren't provided. The few that did get a thin mat to sleep on at night only got one after a lot of medical visits and several notes stating they needed one for medical reasons. You and Vi weren't so lucky to have any notes. Still, there were worse things here. Like the food. That's why any food or snacks that were smuggled in were high value items. Currently you had a packet of chips hidden under a loose brick right where you slept. You scored them a few days ago and wanted to surprise Vi by sharing them tomorrow.
The elevator dinged as the doors opened, the clack of heels filling the halls. Caitlyn stopped in front of Vi's sell, her hood still up. "What the hell do you want?" Vi asked, glancing over at the taller woman. "Your help. You beat up an inmate, I needed to question him about a crime scene from yesterday. Why did you break his jaw?" "Because I wanted to." She responded with a small shrug, disinterested in whoever this enforcer was. "Why are you in here?" Caitlyn tried again, looking over the file in her hands. "For my sunny personality." Vi shot back immediately.
Caitlyn shook her head, sighing. "This was a waste of time." she closed the file and her journal, starting to walk off. Maybe she could find away around a broken jaw, pen and paper perhaps. "Couldn't have said it better myself. Give Silco a kiss for me on that winning eye of his." that was what caught the enforcer's attention. Turning around she walked back to Vi's cell, getting a bit closer to the bars. "Silco? The industrialist?" "Hardly what I'd call an industrialist." She scoffed, leaning against the bars. That's when the other woman held up something that caught her eye.
In Caitlyn's journal was a picture of a spray-painted monkey. Just like the ones Powder used to make. "Where did you get this?" Vi asked, desperation creeping into her voice. "My question first. The inmate worked for Silco?" "Everyone in here does. You of all people should know that. Now where did you find that?" "It was at the crime scene, this is evidence" Caitlyn responded. She had the upper hand here now. "If I'm to believe you about Silco, I'm going to need proof."
A way out. Vi could get both of you out of here. "I can provide you proof. Just, not from in here" she gestured to the bars around her. "And," she began to add on "I need another inmate. Inmate 381. I'm not leaving without her." Caitlyn seemed to consider this for a moment. Then she turn and left without a word. What that meant, Vi had no clue.
Caitlyn had ran off back to the warden, forging papers along the way for the release of two inmates. She needed Vi's help to track whoever this person was down, so if someone else had to come along, so be it. As she put the papers down on the warden's desk, he seemed to lazily look over them. "I have orders to release inmates 381 and 516." she spoke up. He hummed in thought before shaking his head. "I can only release one." "What? It says right there-" "I can read. But I'm only releasing one. Pick." "..inmate 516."
So when Caitlyn returned and opened Vi's cell, she immediately ran to your cell. Or at least tried to. The enforcer stopped her a few steps in. "The warden only let me release one of you. You understand that-" "No I don't! This wasn't part of the deal!" Vi went to grab the collar of Caitlyn's dress, the other wrapping her hands around Vi's wrists as she was pressed against the wall. "You will-" "If you try anything I will make sure you're put back behind bars and you never see that other inmate again." Cait rushed out. It wasn't what she wanted to resort to, threats, but it seemed to work.
Almost instantly Vi's grip loosened, slowly setting Caitlyn back down on the ground. Leaving you...
"Once we're done, you let her out. Immediately. No excuses, exceptions, or delays. And I get to say goodbye." Vi demanded. That was fair, anyone could agree to that. Thankfully Caitlyn began nodding, dusting her dress off. "Go ahead then. Afterwards we need to get going to the Undercity."
This was going to hurt.
Vi walked over to your cell, kneeling down at the bars. You were still all curled up, dead asleep. She gently knocked on the bars. "Bun..bun you gotta wake up." That was odd. Vi's voice sounded so close...as you opened up your eyes you saw your girlfriend just on the other side of the bars. There was no quicker way to wake up than seeing your lover free from her cell. "Vi! You escaped! How-" you were cut off by seeing Caitlyn standing behind Vi.
"Who is that?" "Y/N, I can explain." "Vi, who is that!" you were shouting now. You didn't even fully realize it. "She's the one that got me out-" "So now you're going to get me out?" you interrupted. Seeing the pain flash on Vi's face told you everything that you needed to know. "You're leaving me.." your voice was barely audible, but Vi caught every word. She could feel her heart shattering as she saw the tears form in your eyes. "It's only for a little bit. The warden wouldn't let us both out, once I'm done helping Caitlyn we're coming right back for you, I promise."
You wanted to believe her. Vi had never lied to you before, why would she start now? Maybe it was the fear of never seeing her again. Or maybe it had to do with the enforcer standing behind her. Caitlyn was beautiful, you had to admit, so what if...
"No, no this isn't right. Vi you can't leave me here!" you shouted, crawling up to the bars and reaching out to grab Vi's wrist. "Vi you can't leave me! Please don't leave me!" the tears finally began rolling down your cheeks faster than you could wipe them away. Vi's own eyes were starting to gloss over with tears. "I'm coming back for you, Y/N. I swear on my life I'm not leaving you. It'll be a few days tops." "What does she," you nodded your head towards Caitlyn "even need help with, huh? What are you going to do for her?"
That cut deep. Vi tried not to take it to heart as she stood up, pressing one last kiss to the back of your hand. "I'm coming back for you." she repeated, steeling herself to actually leave. To not fall to her knees and tell Caitlyn to find someone else. This was your guy's chance of freedom. Even if this hurt you now, it was better in the long run. Everything would be better when you two could be together outside of Stillwater. "Bye bye, bun. I'll be back for you" and with that she turned around and started walking away. Vi knew if she turned around to look at you one last time, she'd never leave.
That's when the shouting started.
"Vi! Vi turn around right now! You can't leave me here!" you were standing up now, having an iron grip on the bars. Almost trying to bend them out of the way so you could run to Vi. Unfortunately you weren't that strong and the bars weren't that weak. "Violet don't leave me!"
Vi quickened her pace, rushing towards the elevator. Your voice was starting to blend with Powder's the day they were separated. It was all too much. She was going to find Powder and come back for you. Everything would be okay, everything would be right. As the elevator doors closed, she heard one last thing. Yours and Powder's voice were nearly indistinguishable from one another as you yelled out:
"TRAITOR!"

☆ — "Love"
Chosen Pairing: CaitVi
"Would you kill to have Powder back?"
Vi stopped, paused even. She knew Caitlyn had the right to ask that question. That damned question she knew the answer for but couldn't bring herself to say.
The answer was a simple yes, Vi would absolutely go haywire and kill to have her sister back. She would even run towards the hellish depths of the earth just to save Powder, but she couldn't. It was a fact she has known for a while, but couldn't bring herself to accept.
Vi utters a yes to Caitlyn, to which the indigo haired woman raised her eyebrow. She seemed stunned, surprised even. She knew Vi would answer an affirmative, but there was one thing she was confused about.
"Then why didn't you take the shot? She was handing you the rifle, you could've had her back-"
"I couldn't do that to you, Cait," Vi cuts her off. She notices her voice break, but she pays no mind.
"No matter how much I want Powder back, I can't kill you. I can't bear to see you facing my fists, I don't want to do so either," Vi explains, taking pauses with her words.
Caitlyn only sighs, now realizing it was hard enough for Vi to make a choice when they were both abducted. She has completely disregarded how hard it must've been, leaving behind her life in the now nation of Zaun, and adjusting in Piltover. Vi was still an outcast, an outsider who got lucky enough just like Viktor was.
Caitlyn has never thought about how important Vi has gotten to her, and the other way around. In return, Vi couldn't understand how Caitlyn was already important to her during that time. In between a situation where she had to choose one, she hoped to save both her sister and, whatever Caitlyn was to her.
Vi loves Caitlyn, as much as she does for Powder, and she could never kill one of them just to have the other.

Some incoherent ranting/rambling i guess
I really don't understand some people's obsession with fictional characters doing shitty things just conveniently...NOT KNOWING that they're bad?? Idk if that makes ANY sense at all it's 3 in the goddamn morning but let me explain--
I was doom scrolling, as one does, when I came across a tiktok of a marvel fan explaining why actually wanda maximoff had no idea what she was doing with the hex, which, sure, holds true for the BEGINNING of wandavision. But we're shown pretty clearly during the rest of the show that she knows what she's done, how it's affecting the townspeople, and that it's not real...she just needs it to be real. She can't cope with her ACTUAL reality. Her family is gone, and the ones that remain are busy dealing with their own traumas and families (i.e. clint, who I still argue WOULD have tried to find her and help her post-endgame, even if he desperately needed some downtime with his family--but moving on). I'm a wanda maximoff stan, she's my girl, my favourite, my one and only, but she's not a complete idiot. She knew what she was doing. I don't care that she did an objectively bad thing, I care about why she did it and kept on doing it--which is so much more interesting to me, anyways.
Alicent Hightower in HOTD? According to the writers, had no clue that, actually, years of talking about how aegon should be the heir to the throne would result in people ACTUALLY SCHEMING to get him on the throne, even though she seems to be heading the effort the entire time? Listen, the HOTD fandom is something else, and the way they talk about alicent genuinely scares me, but alicent being worried for her kids' safety, reluctantly cutting off all affection for Rhaenyra because she's genuinely terrified for her kids' lives, even just the spite of wanting her years of suffering and humiliation to mean something; alicent being both a ringleader and a pawn in a man's game, because ultimately she's resigned to the fact that the closest she can get to winning in this system (under this wheel, if you will), is finding the best man to propel to victory/be a pawn for because she as a woman will ultimately never be the victor herself--is SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING than "okay, yeah, she spent years declaring how unfit her ex-bff/stepdaughter is to rule, but she didn't know people would actually take that seriously...she just wants rhaenyra to be OKAY, yall..." (I have a lot of feelings about how the show wrote alicent, okay?)
And arcane is one of my favourite shows of all time, and I've been lucky enough to MOSTLY stay on the good side of the fandom, which, from my end, is usually pretty amazing with an appreciation for nuanced media. But it genuinely makes my blood boil when I see people claim that Vi "could have gone back for jinx on the bridge" (ep. 7), when the moment they're referencing is vi supporting an injured Caitlyn, who almost died by jinx's bombs, RIGHT AFTER JINX SHOT AT THEM BOTH, AND RIGHT AFTER EKKO TOLD VI TO GO. "She left her sister to get beat up--" everything in vi's face in that scene speaks to her reluctance. She's holding up a girl she's growing closer to, who could actually be grievously injured, and she knows, at this point, that jinx is irrational--jinx just shot at her. Like...we knew that vi wasn't going to die, but she could've really easily. Ekko says he'll handle it. There's another bomb. Vi goes back to look for jinx AS SOON as Caitlyn's sitting down somewhere relatively safe (at which point, you know, she sees jinx being picked up by silco and his sidekicks). The point is, people act, with scenes like this one, like jinx was chucking paint bombs, not shooting fucking bullets en masse. I love all the arcane characters; jinx is such an interesting one, and her hallucinations and delusions do tend to make us wonder how much responsibility we can rightfully place on her shoulders. But people are really out here acting like she didn't...almost kill vi and cait there? We, from jinx's perspective, know that she saw Caitlyn as the literal devil; from vi and cait's povs, she just kind of walked up and tried to kill them. Am I making my point yet?
Speaking of arcane, i hope in season 2 we get scenes of characters from piltover who are really rooting for the oppression of the undercity. Not because of what jinx did, not because of the war, not because they "just don't know" how bad it is...because they make a profit off of it, and for that they are perfectly content letting people become dependent on drugs and make their livings from dangerous work in factories and mines. The whole point of "the city of progress" is that it became what it was off the backs of the undercity. We get a lot of characters in season 1 REALIZING the conditions down there, but I want them realizing in season 2 that not everybody was sheltered, they were just making a profit. (I kind of want to see Heimerdinger called out, too. Like, yeah, he's fluffy and cute and stuff, but if he's the founder of piltover, he's also been there since the beginning of the undercity, and didn't care because immortality yada yada. Have I envisioned scenes of ekko calling vi a sellout and she's just like "bitch and who the fuck are you working with?" and everybody's miserable? Yes. Yes I have. And don't come for me, ekko is the mvp of this show. Let a girl dream).
Even people like Tony Stark...people be acting like he's not actually an asshole a lot of the time. Or that he didn't know what weapons did before he stopped distributing them. I like tony, he's entertaining. But I'm not going to act like I need him to be a saint who didn't know shit about the world or basic courtesies to like him.
Idk if fandoms are just weird like that, but you can like your fave even if they do shitty things. They don't always have to be helpless, or just too stupid to realize what's going on. I don't understand why so many people are opposed to being entertained by people who do shitty things. Where's the appreciation for the drama? The messiness? The chaos?

Longing (For the one word timebomb requests)
One Word Prompt (Ekko's POV)
CW:Implied Se///xu@l Content
I told everyone in the sanctuary I would be back in three days.
I'm proud of the community I created and watched grow over the years. I provided everyone with a sense of safety from Silco's rein.
I loved everyone there. Jinx being there gave me an extra reason to stay. But even I needed a break every now and then. Some 'me time' as Jinx puts it.
The sanctuary was my home away from home. I still lived in Benzo's shop. I grew up there and wouldn't dare abandon it.
I felt the familiar sense of her eyes watching me. I turned around to meet her gaze.
She was holding her arm behind her back as Scar grunted with effort; her frame was disappearing inch by inch behind the vault.
"Haven't you had enough of me?" I grinned crookedly.
Jinx rolled her eyes, chuckling while shaking her head.
Last night our clothes were strewn across my bedroom floor.
We panted softly, and she laid her head on top of my chest. She hummed in content, her magenta eyes glowed as she gazed at me with a sated smile.
She held my chin between her fingers and then proceeded to plant tender kisses across my face until her lips met mine.
Our lazy kiss steadily turned more heated and passionate. Our lust reignited and we had to have another round to extinguish it.
I flipped her over and pinned her hands above her head. She sunk her teeth into her lush, bottom lip then both moaned as we grinded against each other
I expected her to quip about how much of a self-absorbed asshole I was, she wanted me to get out, or that she 'hated' me.
Instead, she smiled at me. Her eyes softened and told me the three words she was too scared to tell me.
"Never." was the last thing she uttered before the vault closed completely.
I stood there for a good minute.
I understood why she hadn't said it. Yet my heart still ached for the words I've been longing to say.
"I love you too, Jinx," I murmured.
════
So,here I was. Sitting in a bar nursing my beer mug.
The place was small.
The jukebox was playing a vinyl with ukelele music. There were hardly any customers here but I wasn't complaining. The beer was cheap and decent.
I wondered what Vander's would taste like.
When I was a kid, sometimes me and Jinx used to pretend the juice Vander gave us was alcohol. We laughed when we pretended to get drunk and throw up.
For my twenty-first birthday, I imagined, Benzo, Vander, and my friends celebrating in The Last Drop.
The bar would be full of Vander and Benzo's friends to celebrate our birthdays. We were happy with what little gifts we were able to receive.
It's in four months. The Last Drop had been boarded up since Silco's death.
I would love to have Jinx and Vi with me to celebrate. I didn't care where. I just wanted us to be together but I knew it wasn't realistic.
The two people I love most couldn't even be in the same room together without being overwhelmed by the pain they inflicted on each other.
Especially since Vi's friend is with an Enforcer. After killing her mother, Caitlyn would want to be the first to capture her.
I snapped back to reality as the sound of giggling disrupted my thoughts. A couple was sitting near each other at the far end of the bar.
He had his arm around her shoulder and she had hers around his waist. They were both holding their beer mugs with their free hand.
He leaned in and whispered something in her ear that made her nearly spew her drink and cover her mouth.
"I should fuck you up. You're lucky you're so cute." they both laughed.
My lips twitched with a hint of a smile.
I knew what I was getting myself into when I allowed Jinx to stay. But I still got a little envious of couples I see on the streets.
If our lives had gone differently then that could have been us.
Life would be great.
I had a woman I knew loved me and would continue to love me when we turned old and gray.
Jinx had grown into the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen. I would be able to show everyone how lucky I was to have her around my arm.
I would ask Benzo for advice about dating and how to be a great boyfriend.
Vander has known me since I was little. There wouldn't be a need for me to be nervous about meeting her Dad for the first time.
He would trust me to have good intentions with his daughter and knew I would treat her with the love and respect she deserves.
Mylo, Claggor, and Vi would tease us about being love birds and how we should get it over with.
They would have bragged about how they were right to tease us about our denial of our crushes on each other.
People can freely galavant their love while I had to keep mine a secret. I had to tuck her away or else we both would be thrown in Stillwater.
I knew fully well that Jinx didn't have an ounce of remorse for killing those assholes and shattering their ivory tower.
The Enforcers would probably kill us first to take revenge on their beloved fallen comrades.
"They were good people." They would say.
Good people don't terrorize the people they're supposed to help.
Good people don't work with drug lords. They don't accept their money and let people from the Undercity die from shimmer or by their own hands.
We were good people.
But look what happened to my family. Our lives were irrevocably fucked over because of something I did
I thought we could have gotten a huge amount of money from my tip on Jayce Talis-The future golden boy of Piltover turned most hated council member.
We wouldn't have to go through another night worried about what we were going to eat or when we'd be able to.
No.
Instead, I brought Silco's attention to us. My actions became a butterfly effect of our lives being ruined.
It's my fault.
It's all my fucking fault.
The self-loathing and anger raged in me like a fire that was ready to combust. I doused the flames by chugging down half my beer.
I slammed my glass on the counter and panted heavily. I wiped the alcohol from my mouth and trail down my chin.
I signaled the bartender for a refill. She gave me a curt nod and filled my beer mug to the brim.
I was going to go home and pass out until the next morning.
I was going to feel good after a few more.
I was going to feel fucking great.

Flowers of Thanalan
Just a little something I wrote after doing some side quests on a new character I've made in ff14. Not sure if I'll do this again but I had some writing ideas from these quests and thought why not share.
”That poor soul, at least, had family that rushed to his side. Count him lucky for that.”
”When we finally chased them off… my love was in seven pieces”
When I arrived at Camp Drybone I knew little, save that people were going missing, and that my new acquaintances, the so-called Scions of the Seventh Dawn, believed that somehow this was linked to what they call a primal. I soon found though that the place was well acquainted with death itself. I learned that many come to the place in order to give their loved ones a final resting place, somewhere safe from the unforgiving nature of the deserts. As was usual I found myself drawn to helping the people here with whatever tasks they would have for me. I felt a want to give what little aid I could to a place full of grief and loss.
Ceaseless revenge and a last attempt at salvation were what I found myself set to first.
A woman, Caitlyn, asked of me a simple task. To slay seven of the dusty mongrels to the south, an oddly specific request I thought at the moment. The look in her eyes as she set me about the task though was almost like the embers of a fire that had been burning far longer than one would expect. Nevertheless, I set out with my trusted carbuncle companion to find the beasts. While they fought with a ferocity common to Thanalan we were able to bring them down with ease. The stratagems came to my mind with ease and carbuncle dashed across the battlefield as if reading my own mind had made it all the easier.
The second request I had gotten was from another woman, Tutusi, a similar request though for a different purpose. Her task for me was to slay a few myotragus nannies in order to feed a dying man in the hopes of bringing him from the brink. Unlike the mongrels, these were a docile target, at least until provoked. Despite how quickly I completed my task… it was too late as the man had passed shortly before I could return. Tutusi’s words to me afterward were not uncommon amongst those of U’ldah, always towards business and the tasks ahead. I wasn't sure if the grief I saw in her eyes was hers or if it was merely a reflection of my own at not making it back in time.
I think Tutusi could easily read my feelings though, as she soon set me on another task. Her words I imagine are true though, flowers would make for quite a bit of coin as mourners pass through the camp on their way to say goodbye. I am not entirely sure how I feel about looking at it with a gil framed lens but the tale of a life-filled area of the desert intrigued me. The comparison to the black shroud was hardly exaggerated I thought as I walked amongst the vegetation. Coming face to face with the goobbue said to be responsible for it brought on an odd mix of emotions.
”Some say the goobbue came down from the mountains at the time of the Calamity, and carried with him the seeds that became all those plants.”
It was there I met Jospaire, a botanist who was fascinated by the wild vegetation that thrived against all odds here. Through his instruction, we ensured the plants around the fallen goobbue would continue to thrive. A simple series of gathering water and the removal of pests current and future were all he asked of me. Once that was finished I gathered the blooms I had been sent to collect in the first place. Jospaire was ecstatic at what we had done and his joy felt like a balm compared to what I had experienced so far during my time here.
”I am convinced that what we see before us sprouted from the goobbue’s death. There’s a certain beauty to it all, no?”
”When it comes to offerings, they say the rarer the flower, the happier the dead. And Althyk lavender is nothing if not rare.”
Perhaps there is more than just death and grief to be found here. If nothing else the small amounts of comfort I can bring to the people here should ease their minds. With luck, Thancred and I can soon put an end to the disappearances only adding to the troubles of this place. Perhaps this newfound power I wield, The Echo, as Minfilia called it, will be of use to me in our endeavors.
~ Mariam Shallaen, of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn

Caitlyn hugs Chiasa from behind and bites her neck playfully. "Let's give Hachi a sibling~"
Guess she was in a breeding play mood today
Her tail was causing quite a ruckus, swishing underneath the woman's chest as ears perked up. "Thinkin'of an heir, are we? Well that might take a few dozen tries, but I'm sure ya won't mind that~"
Not that she is actually expecting a child to come from this, but the teasing is always fun. "Which one's gonna be the lucky taker today?~"

don't make me regret helping you. ( Jayce @ Vi )
"I hate you, but I just did something to help you and now I need to explain myself" prompts | accepting
"You threatening me?" Vi asked and furrowed her brows. Her lip curled up in irritation and she planted one of her hands down on the table standing between her and Jayce. "Listen pal, I wouldn't be threatening me. I can still snap someone of your frame like a toothpick," She warned. "But the only reason I'm not doing it is because Caitlyn trusts you and likes you for some fucking reason," Vi rambled and threw her free hand up in the air. "Anyways, yeah, consider yourself lucky."
Vi spun on her heel and took a step or two away from the table. "Now, on the topic of Caitlyn, I'm here to talk about her. I'd talk to her dad too but I just feel like this isn't appropriate to talk about with him," She admitted and dropped her eyes a little. The fighter's thumb nervously fidgeted with a loose thread on her pants before she spoke again. "Has Caitlyn spoken to you about her mother?" She asked and turned her head to peek over at Jayce. "I meant, y'know, to tell you she missed her because she's...dead. You knew the woman more than me. I don't ask Cait about her mom out of respect but it seems like she has been diving into her work more than usual and avoids any talk about her if someone sends their condolences. I'm worried is what I'm saying."

pt. 2
the one part of the episode i felt a negative reaction to my part is Jayce turning on Heimendinger as quickly as he did. yes, they have had their moments of disagreement but to force him into retirement? i’m not sure how that’s helpful. also what kind of message does this send to Piltover? they instate a new council seat and then a day or two later remove the oldest one? keen-eyed citizens would take note and this reveals a shift but also a vulnerability of those in charge and thus to the city as whole. it makes me nervous.
what made it more content to swallow was Mel’s hesitance on voting first in favor of Heimendinger’s removal. you can tell it was a complex choice as, mentioned earlier, she wants to keep her status, she has a huge investment in Jayce, and is she were to turn against him now what would that say about her. also she has sided again Heimendinger multiple times before so to not do so now would be dishonest in the eyes of Jayce. i don’t know what is next for Heimendinger but his severe reaction to the Hex Core, his belief that it is of the same seed of similar kinship to historical magic that has led to destruction, and his removal from the council means he has the time but not the resources to do something about it. will he try something soon or put faith back in Jayce (even when he didn’t have it in Heimendinger) to see if this will develop into something more fruitful? idk.
Sevika walking in the exact same way as before at the end of last episode but being greeted by Powder/JInx instead of Silco was a good call to make—these two needed to have a scene along together to cement their standing with each other. Sevika is a woman of truth and delivers it callously but without a lick of dishonesty. Powder/Jinx tying her up after finding out Vi is around and alive was an interesting way for her to tell Silco that she now knows he “lied” (kinda?). Sevika also gives me the vibe of Vander before he matured, there’s some honor in her that she wants to save the underground but to what that leads to? we’ll find out.
don’t have much to say about Caitlyn this time around but it’s obvious that patience is not a common trait among enforcers and Grayson was lucky enough to see that in Caitlyn and presumably helped her become even more patient in her approach to things. she doesn’t rush Vi knowing she’s hurt, she’s willing to trust the lowest of the low to get help for Vi, and doesn’t force Vi to continue on their journey/escape when Vi finds Powder/Jinx. really wish she didn’t trade her gun tho. i get the feeling she’s really going to need it next episode or so. And Vi and Powder/Jinx (i think once Vi stops referring to her as Powder, i will too FYI). Vi is almost too strong for her size and normal human capabilities but i still love it lol. she nearly kills Silco with a single punch bringing down a building on him. in this building however, she and Caitlyn hold up beforehand and it’s revealed they the two sisters lived there at one point. when to say?… i’m not sure. maybe Vander didn’t immediately take them in(?).
and that was episode 6 of arcane, end of act ii. had a lot of what i was expecting but contained more than i wasn’t. okay, let’s go.
pt. 1
nearly every episode has opened with a flashback containing background on key characters and some minor (such as Grayson included in Caitlyn’s backstory) and this episode was no different.
Viktor is shown to have (almost definitely) been born with his limp/physical disability and so far shown with no parents or guardian figure(—scientist was more akin to a mentor or friend rather than actual caretaker). he also had always been into making, creating new things. like most children Viktor respected and loved nature and animals so he of course would go for the opportunity to help a creature as cute and friendly as Rio.
to make this review more character-centric, continuing with Viktor, his blood from the last episode integrated itself into what he and Jayce call the Hex Core. a magical hex gem with the ability to adapt and mutate when in congruence with organic matter. Viktor not so subtle mentions a handful of the benefits this can lead to including extended life and/or curing Viktor of his ailments. he leaves the lab, somewhat dejected and aware of his deteriorating condition to go find the scientist from his childhood as only now does he understand the desperation and reasoning behind doing what one can and “must” do to achieve specific results (i presume the scientist is creating Shimmer thru organic extractions and mutations because it’s the same one working for Silco and the color is undeniably in the same shade or tone). i hope this works out for him and that Rio hasn’t suffered all these years.
Ms. Young, or Sky, as we now know is her name is intriguing. we don’t know much about her yet but we know the following: she had to have come from the undercity as well, seeing as she at least *saw* Viktor and they were both at the same general location with other children, has an implied crush or interest in Viktor, and doesn’t seem to have the same or similar physical deficiencies as Vik so that even more lends credence to the possibility and theory that Vik was both with his ailment.
Jayce, Mel, and Heimendinger. Jayce is such a good guy at heart (like Vi) but damn… he’s already wrapped in stress and confiding in Mel only after sleeping with her one single time. you can also see the Mel isn’t used to someone coming to her genuinely interested and wanting her help and comfort (shows that she views herself as less respectable then she comes across which, is to be expected since she is someone who is mostly aware of her manipulations and desires and what they can lead to). and she is an exiled, outcasted member of her family yet is seemingly the main councilor (at her young age)… she is much accomplished and this duality makes a lot of sense for her character’s behavior. of course she wants to do much that she can to keep her status and power. she even got Jayce under her thumb. that isn’t to say she doesn’t have good intentions but she is rather open to letting things fall to the wayside if there’s more benefit to her than not.
