Shimmer-Filled Dreams
➼ Sorry that this took forever! I got busy and lost motivation, I can’t promise a consistent posting schedule. Truly I’ll write then when I feel I inspired to. When I was trying to force myself to write it all came out terribly
➼ This is more a pilot chapter for the series, establishing some background context that will be important later on
➼ Tbh I might change the title since I’m bad at naming things. But with all that said, enjoy!
His dream of going to the Academy to be something more dashed in a mere few moments. He had been 19, his parents scraping up enough money to buy a used Academy uniform. Viktor had never been happier, had never hugged his parents tighter. His dreams were going to be realized! That entire morning was spent obssessing over getting all the wrinkles out of the clothing, making sure his hair was presentable, and fixing up his sorry excuse for a cane. He was going to sneak into the Academy, and by the time they even realized he was going to be doing so well there that they wouldn't be able to kick him out. It was genuis and it was going to work. It had to.
He made it to Piltover, strolled in through the Academy doors...only to have everyone look at him. An enforcer just a few feet in front of him, their cold, uncaring eyes trained on him. "Don’t make this any harder than it needs to be.” their voice rang out. His heart dropped to his shoes. How could they have known? So soon? He looked the part. There were so many people here, how was he picked apart from the crowd? It didn’t make any sense. From behind the enforcer he could see someone. Professor Heimerdinger. Yes! Okay, all wasn’t lost. The professor would see this and step in, surely he would. Silently he pleaded with him, his voice caught in his throat. The professor looked up at him, their eyes meeting. Now all he has to do was speak up. So close! Instead his gaze was then cast to the floor, walking off to wherever his original destination was. He didn’t help. He didn’t say anything. Viktor was snapped out of it by the enforcer grabbing his arm, starting to tug him outside. There was no use fighting it. He walked along with the enforcer, being pulled a bit to try and keep up despite doing his best with his cane and his leg. He was only let go once they were over the bridge that separated Piltover and the Undercity, not given a second glance as they walked back to their original post.
Viktor wasn’t one to cry, he simply stood there, unable to believe what had just happened. How could he go back home? His parents sacrificed so much for him to get this opportunity. Without even getting to open his mouth in the Academy he had failed them. No, he couldn’t go back home. The disappointment on their faces alone would be enough to slaughter him where he stood. He was on his own now, he’d figure it out. He always did. With some difficulty he made himself start walking. Where? He wasn’t sure. But moving forward seemed a lot better than standing right beside the bridge like an idiot. His eyes were cast down at the ground before him as he moved, until he spied a familiar pair of shoes. Looking up he saw Singed, how long he had been standing there he didn’t know. They hadn’t spoke much since he was younger, since he found out what he was doing to Rio. He ran and never looked back. But he’d spy Singed here and there whenever he was walking around, picking up materials and whatnot. Sometimes they’d have a short conversation, but he never came back to help him with his work. He couldn’t. All he could see was Rio’s face whenever he passed the general area of his lab. Or house really. A combination of the two.
“An Academy uniform,” he observed “did you get in like you had always wanted?” When they had been working together, even from a young age, Viktor would always talk about wanting to go to the Academy. Seems he never lost that dream. Or perhaps he just had. “I..I tried. They found out I wasn’t supposed to be there as soon as I walked in and they escorted me out of Piltover.” His face was hard to read, as usual. But he gave a slow, solemn nod. “I see. I’m sorry to hear that. I remember how much you wanted to go. And after everything your parents told anyone who would listen.” That caught his attention. His eyes widening slightly, a slight mix of horror and disbelief written on his face. “What have they been saying?” Singed knew he had his attention now. Perfect. “How they were so proud of you for seizing your dreams. That they couldn’t wait to see what success you’ll grow into. That they always knew you would amount to something greater than they could ever imagine. But you getting kicked out? Oh..it would break their hearts. It really seems like they’re depending on you, Viktor.”
If his heart was in his shoes before, it was in hell now. This confirmed it. He couldn’t go back. Sure he had always known his parents expected good things from him, but the gravity of it all was finally hitting him now that it was all crashing down around him in a fiery blaze. “I can’t go back home.” He wasn’t sure if he was talking to Singed or to himself. Maybe he wasn’t talking to anyone. But Singed was listening. “Do you have a place to stay?” He asked, already knowing the answer before Viktor slowly shook his head. He gestured towards the Undercity. “Come with me. I have someone I’d like you to meet. He may be able to help with your situation. Give you a place to stay and a purpose. That’s what he did for me.” A bit of an exaggeration there, but if it works it works. Viktor slowly followed after him to the old cannery, wondering who this man could be. Singed worked for him? He didn’t think that he’d work for anyone other than himself. He didn’t seem the type to like taking orders. Then again, people did what they had to do to survive. Anything to keep food on the table. He was lead down a long hallway to an elevator, stepping on before it began its decent. Down, down, down. It was dark for a while. Then suddenly there were windows..into the water. Various fish passed by in blurs, he wasn’t sure how deep down they were at this point.
When the elevator finally stopped and Viktor stepped out, he saw a lab. Pretty fitting for Singed. His eyes were immediately drawn to a purple liquid filling multiple test tubes. Shimmer. Rio. He wasn’t surprised that this was what he was hired to do. Or perhaps he was ‘working’ for this mystery man against his will. That was a common occurrence here. Other than the lab equipment, the place seemed barren. “You know if you wanted to kill me, there were closer locations for that.” He said flatly. This had to be some sort of set up, an unnecessary one if that truly was his goal. He wasn’t exactly a hard target to kill. Either way Viktor’s free hand rested on his hip, on the handle of the knife he had hidden in his waistband. Yes, he had been going to Piltover, somewhere with a low crime rate. But old habits die hard.
“You’re more useful to me alive.” A voice rang out from ahead. As if that was any reassurance. His eyes looked towards the source of the voice, a chair he hadn’t taken note of before spinning around. Revealing the man he must have been meeting. Two mismatched eyes met his own, one blue and the other black and yellow. Scarring covering the clearly damaged eye, but it didn’t seem..real. His skin was too even for that to be real. He was hiding behind makeup to cover up whatever scar caused the damage to his eye. “And who are you? A James Bond villain?” His hand tightened around the handle. If he was going down, it wouldn’t be without a fight. “Your new boss, Viktor.” He leaned forward in his chair slightly. “I’ve had the doctor here tell me a great deal about his former pupil. How he saw potential in him. And now I’m here to offer him a job and a place to stay.” Talk about too good to be true. Viktor eyed the man and Singed, who simply nodded. “I could use another mind to help me with perfecting shimmer. You’ve already seen how it’s made. You’ve helped me before, Viktor. Think about what we could do with something as potent as shimmer.”
It wasn’t a good option. Fuck, it was hardly an option. This seemed more like cornering a scared animal in an alleyway. “What’s your name?” He finally asked, hand falling from his blade and back down to his side. What other choice did he have? It was this or the streets. “Silco. Now, you have work to do.”
About five years had passed. The shimmer was finally ready, the side effects stabilizing. Viktor had a small room in the underground laboratory that he seldom rested in, too focused on his work in making shimmer usable. There was potential there, if used right shimmer could save. That was what he was focusing on, the healing elements. This could improve lives, truly. But he knew it could also take them. That was clear enough with the trails Singed put whatever animal he grabbed off the street through. Mainly rats. They just shouldn’t have gone for the cheese in that obvious cage. He didn’t take part of this trials, administering or watching. Viktor’s roll was to simply read the observations and adjust the formula for the next batch of shimmer based on that. Maybe the shimmer would have been done sooner if he oversaw the trials, but he couldn’t bring himself to do it. With each animal he put in that glass cage he could only see Rio. It made him feel small all over again, a feeling he hated.
Almost as much as he hated feeling the ground underneath him shake and see blue smoke blow up in the sky. He had run out to the lanes to pick up a few odds and ends he needed for his work. Seems he made the right choice. The cannery was going up in flames. Panic surged in his chest, with each blink his world altering. One moment it was the cannery. The next, a small house that had been turned to ash. Blink. Blink. Blink. He clutched his cane tighter and hurried towards the fiery mess. All his notes. His work. Gone up in flames. Save for the journal he was carrying in his worn-to-hell messenger bag. As he was doing his best to race towards the burning building he saw figures walking towards him calmly. Or, well, mostly calm. Save for a little girl with blue hair in Silco’s arms, clutching onto him like a lifeline. A goon whose name he couldn’t be bothered to remember holding an unconscious Sevika.
“What the hell happened!?” He nearly shouted, utterly confused and honestly angry that any of this was even happening. Silco didn’t bother with an explanation, walking past him and in the direction of the Lanes. “I’ve seen your tinkering. Sevika will need a prosthetic arm. You will work on that while Singed starts up shimmer production.” He was left little choice but to follow after Silco, the little girl watching him with caution and fear in her eyes. “My lab was just blown up-!”
“My lab, remember?” Silco cut in with a glare out of his good eye. “We will rebuild. I already have the perfect place in mind. And while I work on our new nation of Zaun, you are to help watch over Powder.” That made the girl, Powder, seem to ease up a little. Silco trusted him. He had to be at least alright. Even if Viktor looked like he was just ordered to cut off his own foot and eat it. “I am a scientist, I am not a babysitter. Do I look like the sort of person who knows how to handle children?” Powder shrunk back in Silco’s arms. Seems she was wrong. “Well you’re going to learn, aren’t you? She has a brilliant mind, you two will get along just fine.”
This what, eleven year old? Who was currently shaking like a leaf? He didn’t believe it. Powder pointed towards the burning building, “it..it was an accident..”
She made that happen? Sure explosions weren’t that hard to make. But one of that magnitude? And on accident? She had to have some sort of head on her shoulders to accomplish that. Perhaps babysitting wouldn’t be as tedious as he first thought. “Uhm..well..do you like boats?” He asked, trying to find some sort of topic for a kid. Powder seemed to smile a little. “I prefer sharks. Those best boats.”
“Well we’ll just have to see, won’t we? When I get the materials, you build a shark, I’ll build a boat, and we’ll battle them.” That broke her out into a full blown smile despite the tear marks on her cheeks. “You’re on!”
➼ This is more just a little clarifying note since I am paranoid. I’m not shipping Jinx and Viktor in this series. They will be written as basically adoptive siblings. The main romance pairing here is JayVik with possibly some other minor ships in the background. I don’t think anything I wrote would give off the vibe that I was trying to ship Jinx and Viktor, but just in case. I hope you guys liked this! I hope to write more soon <3

ALRIGHT PARTY PEOPLE I NEED OPINIONS
Sooo I have an idea for a JayVik AU. Where Viktor never left the Undercity and he works for Silco, to try and sum it up without spoilers.
WOULD WE WANT TO READ IT??
(I will be doing this either way btw I just want to see if a lot of people want it so I can kick myself in the ass for not writing it faster)

I’m back and watching season 2, so I’m hoping to get back to writing again! Feel free to send in any requests you may have and I hope everyone is enjoying season 2!

Well firstly hello, i really like your writing it's amazing i have a request so it goes like this
Any Marauders or poly (whatever you are comfortable with) x ftm reader idk maybe coming out to them the fluff kinda hurt/comfort i really wanna see how tou would write them anything is okay with me thanks
Poly Marauders Fic: Our Tweety
➼ First thank you! I wasn't sure which marauders you wanted included, so I went with all four of them! Tbh now I feel like I need to make headcanons for each of the marauders, so if you guys want that lmk! I also went more of a fluff route than hurt/comfort, I hope that's okay!
➼ All the marauders are dating each other already but not the reader
➼ Just as a general aside: there is no one right way to dress, act, or feel as a trans person. In this fic the reader is described as a bit more as a 'stereotypical' trans person, just to try and make it easier to relate to. By no means do you need to have short hair, dress masculine, dislike certain parts of your body, etc., to be trans. All that matters is how you personally identify, how you feel in your own skin.
➼ No beta we die like Regulus
➼ Warnings: None! This turned out a lot longer than I first anticipated though-

Fanart is not mine! Credit goes to @upthehillart, go show her some love!
It was Saturday, a day that should have been restful. Instead James was banging pots and pans he got from Merlin-knows-where bright and early in the boy's dormitory. "Up and at-em! Quidditch practice! Wake up!" he rang out, a chorus of groans answering back as well as a pillow being chucked in his general direction. It landed on the floor in front of James, not doing any damage. Unfortunately. "Are you trying to wake the dead?" Remus groaned, pulling the covers up over his and Sirius' head. They had slept together last night while Peter had crawled into James' bed. Really what they needed to do was push their beds all together so that they wouldn't be crammed between two beds. Plus Peter squirmed a lot in his sleep so he'd stop falling off the bed in the middle of the night. Even if it was funny when that happened.
You were spared from the chaos in the boy's dormitory, the girl's dormitory was still nice and quiet. Everyone still asleep bar from you. Recently you had been reflecting a myriad of things. One being the fact that you liked four different guys at once. Four guys that were all dating each other. Well, four people technically, Sirius was genderfluid, though last time you asked he was currently going by he/they. Which was another thing. Sirius came out a few months ago and since then you had been thinking. He described it as never feeling always like a guy, sometimes he felt more feminine. Othertimes he felt, as he described it, 'in between', or that he didn't care, or neither. You didn't really think that was possible before.
Of course everyone in Gryffindor Tower was supportive. Or everyone for the most part, including you. Lily had made Sirius little bracelets with pronouns he could wear if he wanted, his boyfriends were of course happy that Sirius was comfortable enough to reveal that to them. All of that helped you come to the realization that you never really felt like a girl. You didn't like how your hair looked when it got super long, you wore baggier clothes to try and hide your chest, swapped out the usual uniform skirt for trousers, and showers? Those were hard. You hated looking down at your body most of the time and tried to get out of there as soon as possible. Sure every now and then you may have wanted to wear a dress or skirt, or something considered 'girly', but that didn't mean that you felt like a girl when wearing those things.
It was scary and confusing, trying to figure it out. Perhaps if you had talked it out with someone the realization would've came sooner or easier. Either way you ended up at the same conclusion. You were a guy, a man, a wizard. Not a girl, a woman, or a witch. It was almost freeing to figure that out. Or at least it would be if fear wasn't consuming the forefront of your mind.
That's why you were up so early while your classmates slept around you. You were trying to figure out what to do. You wanted to tell people, maybe even see if you could get switched to the boy's dormitory. But that fear was winning out. Despite how kind everyone was to Sirius when they came out, what if that same grace wasn't extended to you? What would people in other houses think? Professors? Would anyone even start calling you a guy? Would they use the new name you had decided on trying out? There were so many unknows, and the unknown was frightening.
Eventually you had spent enough time stewing in the dorms and moved down to the common room for a change of scenery and a nice fire. When you plopped down on the red velvet couch that's when the stampede from the boy's dorms came down. The first wave was excited second years in their quidditch jerseys, then the tired older quidditch players, then the marauders. James was as energetic as ever, Sirius not too terribly far behind him, Remus half asleep, and Peter practically sleepwalking. Remus was currently using his crutches, walking over and sitting down on the couch next to you. Peter followed suit and sat on the other side of you.
"One of James' early morning practices?" you asked already knowing the answer. Peter groaned in response, slumping against the pillows. Just like that he was back asleep. "Yes. I think he snuck into the kitchens to get our wake up call this morning" Remus mumbled, wiping the sleep out of his eyes. James just looked so proud of himself. He leaned over the couch and pressed a kiss to the top of Remus and Peter's heads before grabbing Sirius' hand. "We're off! Be back in a few hours. Keep Tweety company, will you?"
That damn nickname. You both loved and hated it. James nicknamed you 'Tweety Bird' after you discovered your patronus. A small yellow bird, a Hooded Warbler. "We will Prongs. Or at least I will. Petey is down for the count" Remus chuckled slightly, setting his crutches aside. With the crowd gone you had Remus' full attention. "You're up early. The pots and pans reach the girl's dormitory?" he asked, adjusting a few pillows on the couch to try and get comfortable. "No, just..thinking" real specific.
"About what?" was of course the next thing the werewolf asked. You were quiet for a while, Peter's soft snores the only thing filling the air. Remus patiently waited for an answer, a bit of concern in his eyes at the silence. After a moment he had to ask a follow up question. "Everything alright? Something bothering you? I'll listen if you want to talk. The other's don't need to know."
That broke down what resolve you had left. You didn't realize this but you had been getting worked up in that short amount of time, you face feeling a bit hot and hands shaking. "I'm a guy. I want to go by Y/N." you blurted out. There, it was out in the world now. No taking it back. You were staring down at your feet, trying to expect the worst. Remus let out a small hum then held his hand out. "Well Y/N, I'm Remus, pleased to make your acquaintance" he smiled. That earned a chuckle out of you ask you shook his hand, feeling a little better already. "You're..you're okay with it?"
He almost looked confused. "Well why wouldn't I be? You're my friend, Tweety. No matter your gender, orientation, what have you. And when you want to tell the others they'll have the exact same sentiments" he promised. Though that did mean that he needed to change a few things around for a surprise the four of them had planned. "Am I the first person you've told?" to which you responded with a nod. "Yeah, you're the first. And Peter if he can hear us in his little mini coma. I want to tell them after practice, then just..bring it up to everyone else when it comes up, I guess" it's not like you wanted to call a house-wide meeting about this.
"That makes sense. Sirius and James will likely be a while. James created a new training routine he's trying out. Ever since Slytherin won the cup last year he hasn't eased up. I think if we lose again his head might explode" it was an outrage in the tower after Slytherin won. James and Sirius lead that outrage. Remus as the announcer swore up a storm over the microphone. House points were certainly deducted that day. "All I'm hearing is that the newbies on the team are going to be regretting joining the team" you chuckled. There was a reason why you didn't join the team, and it was James' rigorous training schedule.
For the next two hours you and Remus hung out on the couch, Peter waking up around halfway through. When you first told him the big news he simply blinked at you a few times and went "Huh?" He didn't mean anything by it, poor man had just woken up from a deep sleep. Once he was more awake and could process what you said he was of course happy for you, pulling both you and Remus in for a hug to celebrate. Around breakfast time, the quidditch team came up. As you expected all the first-year players looked miserable. Really everyone did as they marched back up the stairs to lay down. Even Sirius looked bushed. James was the only one still smiling and bouncing with energy. How he did it, no one really knew.
"Moony! Moony our boyfriend killed me! I think I need some mouth to mouth to be saved" He exclaimed, dramatically draping over both the couch and Remus. The wizard rolled his eyes and lightly nudged Sirius. "I think you'll be fine. You sign up for this torture year after year." "What can I say? I'm a masochist" he said with a cheeky grin. James sat down between you and Peter, brushing some hair out of his eyes. "My training isn't that bad! Everyone else is just being dramatic. If you think that's bad just wait til our practice after dinner" that was followed by a groan and loud complaining from all. "Speaking of dramatics, can you two spare them for a moment so I can tell you something?"
For once both Sirius and James were quiet, their attention fully on you. Remus gave you a small nod of encouragement, gesturing for you to take a deep breath. You did so and looked between Sirius and James. "I'm trans. I want to start going by Y/N, he/him." it was a lot easier to say now that it was the third time and yu had already gotten two amazing reactions. Sirius and James didn't dissapoint. Both were smiling brightly and suddenly you were being tackled in a hug by both of them, Peter throwing himself on top of the dog pile and dragging Remus along with him.
"Mate that's bloody amazing!" James chuckled out happily "One of us! One of us!" Sirius playfully chanted, poking your arm. "Does that mean I can get first dibs on all your old skirts and dresses?"
That was all a week ago. Sirius had helped you pick out new clothes on a trip to Hogsmeade while James insisted on picking up the tab. Peter had accompanied you to each of your classes to help you explaim to your professors about your name and pronoun change. Meanwhile Remus had been hard at work in the headmaster's office to get a few things changed around.
Today was the day of that big change. One you had no idea of. James simply told you to meet him in the common room. Then a blindfold was covering your eyes. "James if you lead me to the window and push-" "I would never! How dare you even suggest such a thing!" he gasped in mock offense. "No no! We just have a big surprise planned and you don't get a sneak peak. Stairs, stairs" he warned, helping you up a rather large flight of stairs. But what stairs? You two were just in the common room, the only two staircases were to the dormitories. Even then the girl's staircase was enchanted so that no boys could walk up them. So then-
Suddenly the blindfold was off before you could even complete that thought. You were now in the boy's dormitory, all of your things on the bed in front of you. Bedding, clothes, posters, school supplies, everything. All of the marauders were standing around with big smiles on their faces, though Peter seemed a bit nervous, his cheeks a light pink color. "I talked with Dumbledore and arranged for you to be moved to the boy's dormitory. We had Lily get your things. Though we can move it all back, if you don't want-" "I love it!" You interrupted, rushing to hug all four of them. "Thank you guys, seriously. I was nervous about asking myself"
"Of course Tweety. Though there is something else" Sirius said as he pulled away from the embrace. James looked excited, Peter was now clinging onto Remus. The energy had seemed to shift a bit, in what way you couldn't tell. "Well what else is there? You guys giving e money or something?" you teased with a small smile. That made Sirius chuckle, shaking his head. "No, no. We were all actually wondering..if you wanted to join the polycule?" he asked, giving you a hopeful look. "We all like you, we have for a while but didn't really know how to ask you" James added on. "We were afraid we'd scare you off, y'know, four people fancying you. I know it's a lot" Remus spoke up.
How two amazing things happened in one day, you have no clue. The four people you had felt guilty about liking all liked you back. Merlin if this was a dream you didn't want to wake up. For a moment you forgot to even respond, a bit of panic settling in on their faces. "Oh! Ah yes! Yes sorry, sorry I forgot to even say it out loud." you laughed, smiling from ear to ear. James was the first to tackle you into a hug onto his bed. Well, more accurately, his, Remus', and Peter's beds. They had gone through with their plan of pushing the beds together and just hadn't done Sirius' yet. The other three were quick to follow, all smiling and forming a pile on the beds.
"Bloody hell I thought you were going to say know at first-" Peter chuckled out, resting his head on Sirius' chest right next to Remus. "No! No. I've liked you all for a while, I just..I just didn't think you felt the same way." "Well we do, so clear your schedule Tweety. We'll get all your stuff put away today..after a nap." James declared, struggling to pull enough blankets over everyone. And how could you say no to that? You settled into your place in the cuddle pile, closing your eyes and wrapping your arms around James. James did the same for you, reaching one arm a bit further to also be touching Sirius. Sirius had Remus basically laying on top of him and Peter curled up in his side. That's how you all settled in for a rather long nap, and you hadn't been this happy in years.

I'm writing a request currently and wanted to know if I should switch things up a bit! I use Y/N since I'm not really sure what the other options are. If you vote no tell me what you prefer! I want to make my fics readable for everyone, and I know some people don't like the use of Y/N

Will there be a part three of the Vi dating femreader at Stillwater where the Reader gets out of Stillwater and Vi makes it up to the Reader after they reunite? Maybe either the Reader gets out on her own and they reunite in Zaun or Vi comes back to get her out like she promised and they are reunited that way and she makes up for all the lost time since she left her there and promises she will never leave her again, that she loves the Reader with all her mind, body and soul. If Caitlyn is there she apologizes to both Vi and the Reader for separating them once she sees them together and how they are with each other and that she should have fought harder to get the Reader out the first time before Vi and Reader have their life after Stillwater, then maybe a time skip or something where we see Vi and the Reader living together and after Stillwater. That part two was heart-wrenching and would love for Vi to make good on her promise of coming back for the Reader like she said she would, so they can be free and live a better life outside of Stillwater.
Vi Fic: Miss Me?
➼ I'm so glad everyone is liking the Vi series! This will likely be the last part, at least for Stillwater. Maybe I'll have little au's as to how the story ends. Have some fluff to make up for what I put y'all through last time
➼ Continuation of Vi Fic: Bye Bye Bun
➼ This definitely diverges from canon, so please keep that in mind. I didn't have it in me to give an angsty ending (this time). Consider this a little fix-it fic for the end of season 1
➼ No beta we die like some random enforcer (I've officially run out of people season 2 come faster)
➼ Warnings: None!

The days started to blur together. Each passing moment seemed more painful than the last. Vi left you. Left you with that enforcer to rot in Stillwater. Sure she promised to come back, and for a while you were hopeful. Vi had no reason to just leave you behind. That didn't make any sense. Even with the warden saying he could ‘only release one’. Bullshit. Vi should’ve fought harder. She could’ve gotten both of you out, you knew that. If this enforcer needed her so bad then she’s have to do what she asked, even against the warden’s wishes.
While it was hard to keep track of time behind bars, you were certain it had been at least a week. Or it at least felt like a week. Around day three you had lost all hope that your girlfriend was coming back for you. What could take her this long? Nothing. Absolutely nothing in your eyes at least. Vi didn’t even offer an explanation, just that she’d be back. Who does that? Certainly there had been enough time for her to at least say something like 'If I don't go they'll kill me'. Was that even what happened? Or was this the out Vi had been looking for? Had she ever even cared..?
Some days you went with no. Others it was yes. No was the more common answer now. Well hopefully that enforcer was happy with what she had done. What relationship she had torn apart. It was just after lunch when you had been returned back to your cell. Lately you haven't had much of an appetite, the prison uniform you wore hanging slightly looser than usual. It was hard to eat when all you could think about was what Vi could be doing. Fighting. Cheating. Running away. Dying. Of course you only imagined the worst. Never that she was currently racing towards Stillwater like a man on a mission.
Which she was.
The last few days had gone by so fast and so slow at the same time for Vi. Each time she closed her eyes she saw you, she saw Powder, she saw the both of you begging her not to leave. It haunted her, plagued her every waking thought. The guilt of leaving you behind was eating her alive. If it wasn't for how many times she had gotten her ass kicked lately she might've had time to really revel in the fact that she may have lost you forever. She would fix this though. Vi knew that she would. Part one of her plan was already complete.
She had Powder back. For the most part.
After the little dinner party ended with Silco dying, Vi pleaded with her younger sister. Pleaded with her to do the right thing for Milo, for Claggor, for Vander, for her. At the last second it seemed like her Jinx persona had began crumbling away. She dropped the weapon she had built and ran to her older sister, crying and hugging her tight. Catilyn, who had been tied up and gagged by a mask, was relieved to say the least.
After untying both of them Powder handed over the gemstone to Caitlyn. She hadn't wanted it anyways, not really. It was Silco who planted the seed in her head to build the weapon. Every now and then Vi could see Jinx trying to peak through, trying to take over Powder. Maybe one day Jinx would finally go away. Maybe she would always be a part of her, whispering in her ear to turn on those she loved. Either way Vi was keeping her close, not wanting to make the same mistake twice. She promised Powder it would be them again, but with just one new addition.
Now Vi, Powder, and Caitlyn were on the boat to Stillwater. Powder had been asking a million different questions about you. There was part of her, the Jinx part, that resented you. Like you took her sister away from her despite the pair of you meeting when Vi had already been in Stillwater for some time. But mostly she was just excited to see whoever made her sister this happy. The instant the boat was docked Vi ran off, clutching the release papers in her right hand. Caitlyn and Powder were right behind her, albeit a bit slower.
Vi slammed the papers down on the warden's desk with a smirk as soon as she made it up to his desk. "Orders from Councilor Talis to release prisoner 381. Immediately." She stated. The warden wasn't exactly pleased with the orders, but begrudgingly agreed. Mostly since he now had no choice with new orders. That and it would be three against one, and Vi had already put up a fight in the past when it was just her. The one with the blue hair also looked unstable, so best not to mess with that.
Confusion overwhelmed you as the doors to your cell opened. The first thought you had was that this was a trap. A guard opened the doors and was waiting for you to try and escape. That's the only thing it could be. At least until you saw pink hair peaking out from around the corner of your wall. "VI!" you yelled, your feet carrying you forward and before you even realized there was a familiar pair of strong arms around you. "I've got you bun, I've got you" she whispered as she pulled you close, hiding her face in your hair. For a while neither of you said a word, falling into a comfortable silence. At some point tears had began falling down your cheeks, you weren't too sure when. Only this time they weren't sad tears. They were tears of relief and happiness. Eventually you broke the silence. "You came back after all."
Those words hit Vi hard. You really didn't think she would keep her word? Though she couldn't find it in herself to blame you for that. After all, she did just up and leave without running you through what was happening. There just wasn't time in the moment. "Of course I did. I promised I'd come back and get you. I'd never lie to you." she whispered, her grip tightening. "I'm back and we're leaving this place for good. We'll never see Stillwater again."
When you finally pulled away you realized that you weren't alone. There was the enforcer from earlier, Catilyn, and..someone with blue hair? "Who is that?" "That's my little sister, Powder. You remember me talking about her right?" you did, Vi talked about her a lot. Though clearly she wasn't eleven anymore. "I do. You found her?" you asked, giving a small smile and wave towards Powder. She returned the gesture, moving to hold her elbows. "Yeah, that was a few years ago" Powder responded rocking slightly on her heels. "Vi told me a lot about you on the boat ride over. I have a lot to catch you up on." "We both do." Vi added on.
Caitlyn cleared her throat to gain everyone's attention before turning to you. "I wanted to apologize for taking Vi away from you. She had important information about something stolen from Piltover. I did try to get you both out, but-" "Caitlyn, right? As long as you didn't kiss Violet I'll say it's fine." that made her laugh a little, shaking her head. "I promise you I didn't. I wanted to say that both of you no longer have a criminal record, it has been wiped clean. And I wanted to give you this," Catilyn handed over a large pouch filled with money. You carefully took it, examining the pouch. It was a considerable sum, likely enough to rent an apartment in Piltover for a few months.
"Please take that as part of my apology. It should help the three of you find a good place to stay and keep food on the table. Whether you want to go back to the Undercity or move on to Piltover." "Thank you." You handed the pouch over to Vi who tucked the pouch into one of the pockets on her jacket. "Come on bun, we're going to find a place for the three of us. No one," she looked between you and Powder "is getting left behind ever again. Come on" she grabbed your hand and Powder's, walking towards the elevator. You followed along, pulling your hand away at the last second.
"Vi?" "Yes?" Vi responded, nervous for what may come next. "I love you." You said, pulling her in for a short, sweet kiss. Vi was quick to return it, pulling you onto the elevator where Powder was waiting.
"I love you too. Now let's go home"

Will the next part of the Stillwater Reader and Vi have fluff? Here's to hoping Vi keeps true to her word and comes back for the Reader and they can have their life together. I really hope this doesn't turn into an lovers to enemies story. Vi and the Reader deserve to be happy together. Also Caitlyn threatening Vi the way she did, really made me not like her in this story, and hopefully she can redeem herself by doing what Vi said about letting the Reader out after Vi helping her.
Find out either later on tonight or tomorrow 👀

Please I need the Vi fluff omg nooooooo
I’m working on it! I promise. Sorry I haven’t gotten the fic out yet, I started a new job and some personal things have come up, so my writing lately has just been slow and terrible. I don’t want to just push out a half-assed fic. Hopefully I’ll have it out this weekend or early next week!

The sound of knuckles meeting hard concrete echoed throughout the cell block, small grunts following close behind. "You know we don't get clean bandages for another two weeks Vi, your knuckles are going to get infected at this rate." you called out. Suddenly the pounding stopped and a small chuckle was heard. "Don't worry about me bun, just trying to blow off some steam," she said, pacing around her cell instead of beating up a wall. "You should really get some sleep. Long day tomorrow"
"No such thing as a short day here." you groaned. Carefully you laid down on the ground of the cell. Vi's was only a few doors down, close enough to talk just above a whisper but way too far away to see each other. Both of you always slept against the walls that faced each other. It was the closest thing to sleeping next to each other in this shithole. Aside from whenever you two napped during free time of course. Even then Vi stayed wide awake to ensure you were okay.
"Goodnight Vi, wake me up if anything happens, okay?" "I will Y/N, I promise"
That was nearly two hours ago. You were sound asleep by now, the cold, hard floor no longer keeping you up. It was something every prisoner in Stillwater had to get used to. Mattresses weren't provided. The few that did get a thin mat to sleep on at night only got one after a lot of medical visits and several notes stating they needed one for medical reasons. You and Vi weren't so lucky to have any notes. Still, there were worse things here. Like the food. That's why any food or snacks that were smuggled in were high value items. Currently you had a packet of chips hidden under a loose brick right where you slept. You scored them a few days ago and wanted to surprise Vi by sharing them tomorrow.
The elevator dinged as the doors opened, the clack of heels filling the halls. Caitlyn stopped in front of Vi's sell, her hood still up. "What the hell do you want?" Vi asked, glancing over at the taller woman. "Your help. You beat up an inmate, I needed to question him about a crime scene from yesterday. Why did you break his jaw?" "Because I wanted to." She responded with a small shrug, disinterested in whoever this enforcer was. "Why are you in here?" Caitlyn tried again, looking over the file in her hands. "For my sunny personality." Vi shot back immediately.
Caitlyn shook her head, sighing. "This was a waste of time." she closed the file and her journal, starting to walk off. Maybe she could find away around a broken jaw, pen and paper perhaps. "Couldn't have said it better myself. Give Silco a kiss for me on that winning eye of his." that was what caught the enforcer's attention. Turning around she walked back to Vi's cell, getting a bit closer to the bars. "Silco? The industrialist?" "Hardly what I'd call an industrialist." She scoffed, leaning against the bars. That's when the other woman held up something that caught her eye.
In Caitlyn's journal was a picture of a spray-painted monkey. Just like the ones Powder used to make. "Where did you get this?" Vi asked, desperation creeping into her voice. "My question first. The inmate worked for Silco?" "Everyone in here does. You of all people should know that. Now where did you find that?" "It was at the crime scene, this is evidence" Caitlyn responded. She had the upper hand here now. "If I'm to believe you about Silco, I'm going to need proof."
A way out. Vi could get both of you out of here. "I can provide you proof. Just, not from in here" she gestured to the bars around her. "And," she began to add on "I need another inmate. Inmate 381. I'm not leaving without her." Caitlyn seemed to consider this for a moment. Then she turn and left without a word. What that meant, Vi had no clue.
Caitlyn had ran off back to the warden, forging papers along the way for the release of two inmates. She needed Vi's help to track whoever this person was down, so if someone else had to come along, so be it. As she put the papers down on the warden's desk, he seemed to lazily look over them. "I have orders to release inmates 381 and 516." she spoke up. He hummed in thought before shaking his head. "I can only release one." "What? It says right there-" "I can read. But I'm only releasing one. Pick." "..inmate 516."
So when Caitlyn returned and opened Vi's cell, she immediately ran to your cell. Or at least tried to. The enforcer stopped her a few steps in. "The warden only let me release one of you. You understand that-" "No I don't! This wasn't part of the deal!" Vi went to grab the collar of Caitlyn's dress, the other wrapping her hands around Vi's wrists as she was pressed against the wall. "You will-" "If you try anything I will make sure you're put back behind bars and you never see that other inmate again." Cait rushed out. It wasn't what she wanted to resort to, threats, but it seemed to work.
Almost instantly Vi's grip loosened, slowly setting Caitlyn back down on the ground. Leaving you...
"Once we're done, you let her out. Immediately. No excuses, exceptions, or delays. And I get to say goodbye." Vi demanded. That was fair, anyone could agree to that. Thankfully Caitlyn began nodding, dusting her dress off. "Go ahead then. Afterwards we need to get going to the Undercity."
This was going to hurt.
Vi walked over to your cell, kneeling down at the bars. You were still all curled up, dead asleep. She gently knocked on the bars. "Bun..bun you gotta wake up." That was odd. Vi's voice sounded so close...as you opened up your eyes you saw your girlfriend just on the other side of the bars. There was no quicker way to wake up than seeing your lover free from her cell. "Vi! You escaped! How-" you were cut off by seeing Caitlyn standing behind Vi.
"Who is that?" "Y/N, I can explain." "Vi, who is that!" you were shouting now. You didn't even fully realize it. "She's the one that got me out-" "So now you're going to get me out?" you interrupted. Seeing the pain flash on Vi's face told you everything that you needed to know. "You're leaving me.." your voice was barely audible, but Vi caught every word. She could feel her heart shattering as she saw the tears form in your eyes. "It's only for a little bit. The warden wouldn't let us both out, once I'm done helping Caitlyn we're coming right back for you, I promise."
You wanted to believe her. Vi had never lied to you before, why would she start now? Maybe it was the fear of never seeing her again. Or maybe it had to do with the enforcer standing behind her. Caitlyn was beautiful, you had to admit, so what if...
"No, no this isn't right. Vi you can't leave me here!" you shouted, crawling up to the bars and reaching out to grab Vi's wrist. "Vi you can't leave me! Please don't leave me!" the tears finally began rolling down your cheeks faster than you could wipe them away. Vi's own eyes were starting to gloss over with tears. "I'm coming back for you, Y/N. I swear on my life I'm not leaving you. It'll be a few days tops." "What does she," you nodded your head towards Caitlyn "even need help with, huh? What are you going to do for her?"
That cut deep. Vi tried not to take it to heart as she stood up, pressing one last kiss to the back of your hand. "I'm coming back for you." she repeated, steeling herself to actually leave. To not fall to her knees and tell Caitlyn to find someone else. This was your guy's chance of freedom. Even if this hurt you now, it was better in the long run. Everything would be better when you two could be together outside of Stillwater. "Bye bye, bun. I'll be back for you" and with that she turned around and started walking away. Vi knew if she turned around to look at you one last time, she'd never leave.
That's when the shouting started.
"Vi! Vi turn around right now! You can't leave me here!" you were standing up now, having an iron grip on the bars. Almost trying to bend them out of the way so you could run to Vi. Unfortunately you weren't that strong and the bars weren't that weak. "Violet don't leave me!"
Vi quickened her pace, rushing towards the elevator. Your voice was starting to blend with Powder's the day they were separated. It was all too much. She was going to find Powder and come back for you. Everything would be okay, everything would be right. As the elevator doors closed, she heard one last thing. Yours and Powder's voice were nearly indistinguishable from one another as you yelled out:
"TRAITOR!"
