3, 6, 14, 15, and 20
uhhhhh i'll just do these 3 b/c i've been thinking abt them lately
Tumblr media
3. have they died before? as it currently stands, spencer's dead dead yeah and not coming back, lucian is also dead (stuck as undead in his main timeline and while he might've suffered a less terrible death in other ones he still is probably dead in those). in aurelio's case they tried to execute him but it didn't work so i don't know if that counts as a death technically? don't know if he's completely immortal either but he survived the execution so that's gotta count for something lmaoo?
6. what's their greatest fear? aurelio's is loneliness and i think lucian's would be death; at the moment i can't think of one for spencer but? i suppose fearing consequences would be very fitting for him.
14&15. are they trans? / are they neurodivergent? up to interpretation.
20. will they recover from their trauma or will it consume them? i actually think, given enough time after the main story events, aurelio might, eventually. but the whole point of spencer & lucian's storylines is that, no they dont lol: i'd say their stories focus on the effects of not allowing yourself to move on from your trauma and fixating on it to the dangerous point of destroying everything around you and yourself (ESPECIALLY in lucian's). there is the small chance that maybe in one alternate timeline lucian does actually somewhat recover in some part, but for his main timeline nah
#ask#my ocs#aurelio#spencer#lucian#lol i wasnt actually expecting to get one of these?? i wouldve done all the main protagonists but we are NOT ready to unpack all that yet#aurelio and lucians fears are kinda funny given how they ended up ahjkskh. and spencer's def would be too given his circumstances#but tbh he's kind of a shit person so like. lol. SORRY HKJSHK he becomes less sympathetic the more i think about his story 😭😭#see for 14&15 i have other ocs where its more explicitly implied/stated but for these guys im hesitant on officially saying anything b/c#like. keep in mind they kill people so 😭. i dont want people to jump to the conclusion that im demonizing trans and/or nd people#i do welcome alternate readings of my stuff and if u wanna make ur own personal hcs but my og intent is never to be demeaning/hateful :(#im always just scared of people taking things the wrong way in my stories oof. theres a lot of complexities/nuance yknow#i do know there's certain details in aurelio & lucian's stories that you could piece together and interpret them as trans possibly?#which wasnt the og intent but they are there so again up to personal interpretation; spencer i feel is most likely cis tho lmfao 😭#funnily enough tho some other charas in his story sorta got their genders transed during development??#again ALL of this though is under major development so a lot of stuff definitely isnt final. lots of story things in my head#i spilled tea all over myself and my computer in the process of answering this 😭😭😭

its so insane to me when i see certain women say that period leave is somehow offensive i am begging you stfu i would kill for period leave dont ruin it for the rest of us because you dont want it 😭😭
#i have endo but i think it'd easier if i could get even only a few days off automatically rather then having to get like special time off#and otherwise we have to use sick leave and then we cant use it when we're actually sick :(#so insane though fr i saw someone say 'its offensive because you're saying women are weaker '😭😭?????#people who r afab are like usually weaker then people who r amab why do u think cis men r so scary#its not offensive to say that#if you chose to turn that into 'people who r afab are therefore useless and dumb' thats your fault for seeing a difference to mean one has#2 be useless because of it#if you have periods then yes you'll be tired and weaker then often getting a lot of pain#i think its more offensive to say that we need to just pretend we're the same as people who r amab and just push through#how come we're always expected to behave the same as cis men?? like if there's any difference it's always that we need to change it to fit#in with cis men?#its so annoying#like even without conditions periods can b so draining#pls help me to understand why its offensive to give people who suffer from them a break???#i do not understand#because amab people dont need it it's offensive and demeaning to give it to afab people in ur eyes??#so like fuck pregnant people then?#like how far are you going to go with this#its not equal sure but being exactly equal isnt always fair.#it's like when i say i dont fast during my period and they say its offensive like personally it gives me the benefit of being able to have#water and medicine and keep my energy up#everyone is different#and its not bad to say everyone is different#different doesnt mean one side is stupid or deserves unjust treatment#(dont take that out of context for like serial killers or something ok i beg)#its your fault if different automatically means that to you i think#i specify cis men because i personally never see transwomen act this way if anything theyre the opposite and always really kind ab periods#idk if i worded that well u probably know what i mean

i remember like a while ago i got into an argument with someone on instagram because they made a like post like "debunking mcr myths" or something and it was like things like 'frerard is not real' or whatever but then the last one was like 'gerard way is NOT nonbinary' and i told them basically that they dont have the right to decide what gerard ways gender is or is not and that it really isnt their business and they got mad and blocked me

(disclaimer, this is coming from a heartstopper fan! i love heartstopper this is not hate!!)
i think at least part of the annoyance with heartstopper isn't just that isn't a light fluffy ya series, it's also that its another example of how the queer media that gets the most mainstream attention tends to be this kind of light fluffy ya stuff that focuses on two conventially attractive queer boys or men and it also tends to be written by people who aren't queer men on top of that, so not only can it feel very samey but it can feel like other queer people are relegated to side characters in the stories of cis gay men. and as someone who loves heartstopper i get that on some level.
btw by "written by people who aren't queer men" NOT saying that isn't not written by queer people. alice oseman is genderfluid and aroace, becky albertalli is bisexual, etc. and while i think the point is still valid there is a misogyny element in that a lot of the focus is put on things that are written by women or people they perceive as women while tumblr darlings like good omens and ofmd (written by presumably straight men) don't get the same treatment.
nah y'know what, that's fair, I can get how frustrating it can be for a lot of popular queer stories to feel samey, I've definitely gotten BL-fatigue in the past on platforms like WT and Tapas because many of them ARE the same and feel like they're just piggybacking off trends for the sake of clout (and this is a problem in the heterocis romance stories too, don't get me fucking started on how dark romance has turned into torture porn where vulnerable women are constantly being victimized by rich powerful men and we're just supposed to root for that ??), but it's one of those things where like, what might be seen as just more corny shit could very well be the revelation another person needs that they're gay / trans / etc. that the story helped them realize. there's just a point where i see these arguments against cheesy popular queer stories that teeter dangerously close to being queerphobic and, as you said, misogynist, simply because "it was written by someone who i perceive as a woman so that makes it BAD!"
and I didn't mention it in the original post because I didn't want to @ OP in any way but in the comment section they literally said "i dont think heartstopper itself is all that bad but it has pretty much aimed the direction of all mainstream gay comics towards wholesomeness instead of anything more interesting so i want to destroy heartstopper to destroy heartstopper clones" and that gives me massive ick because it implies their sole reasoning for including it was "chill and happy queer stories bad, if a character doesn't suffer enough then they're not interesting"?? why can't LGBTQ+ audiences have more 'vanilla' stories that aren't all sad and angsty all the time? are we not entitled to the same corny romcom vanilla shit that the heterocis are entitled to? why do LGBTQ+ characters - and by extension, people - have to suffer to qualify as being 'interesting'? You're already interesting, you're you! like i'm sorry, are we trying to scare people straight??? 😭 shit, that's even a plot point that's touched on in Heartstopper itself where Nick is questioning his sexuality and he starts googling shit and it's just ALL the terrifying news stories of queer kids being ostracized / bullied / murdered / etc. and as much as it's important to be aware of the ongoing issues so we can keep fighting for our rights, we ALSO need to find balance and remember to celebrate the stories that AREN'T that because we need something to be hopeful for, something we can find peace in. I don't think Heartstopper is some deeply profound piece of work, but it also doesn't seem like it's trying to be? It's a low stakes celebration of the LGBTQ+ experience that's very warm and comforting, especially for those who are the same ages as the main characters who are often being persuaded by the grown-ups around them that it's a death sentence to be gay / trans / etc.
and it's not like we HAVEN'T had popular pieces of queer representative media that explored things outside of cheesy BL, like are we forgetting about Nimona which explored both the gay and genderfluid experience in a very accessible and fun way while still being mature and not pandering to its audience over how society has made monsters out of queer people?
Tumblr media
(and even then I'm sure there are folks who would argue "actually, here are the issues with Nimona" , and that's fine tbh, we can like media and appreciate what it brings to the table while also discussing what it lacks in, such as what we're doing now with Heartstopper! progress is a never-ending journey!!)
and also okay, not me trying to be argumentative in the slightest BUT I don't really get the argument that 'other queer people' are being sidelined for the main characters? unless there's something I'm missing here lol (I will apologize for that because it's admittedly been a while since I've re-read Heartstopper so I should probably go do that to refresh myself on it). like i say that in the sense that Heartstopper is clearly meant to be about two gay male teenagers. just like how Nimona is about a shapeshifter who is not a girl or a boy (they're Nimona!) and a gay man who are both trying to change the system that's other'd them for years for the better. that is the story Heartstopper is trying to tell and it achieves that. it also has a trans character plotline that I could see people arguing feels sidelined but I think there's a massive difference between 'sidelining' and just having a B plot ? my honest take with that is not every piece of representative media is going to be able to cover every single topic, it's just not doable for one piece of media to be a monolith for everything, the same as how one person can't be a monolith for an entire community of people. BUT that doesn't mean works like Heartstopper and Nimona can't inspire others to also lend their voices into the medium and create that representation that's needed. That's why we need ✨variety✨ and Heartstopper is part of that variety by offering a more vanilla cutesy story full of good vibes for people who want that sort of thing.
IDK, I think there's just a lot of nuance that's being missed in that poll, and in the difference between Heartstopper inspiring more people to write happy cozy BL stories vs. implying that it's had an actual negative influence on modern art and media in the same way that series like Homestuck and LO have to the point that people think it needs to be destroyed, like wtf LOL Like they're not even comparable IMO and a lot of the arguments I see people making about why it is just feel a little backwards, and those arguments obfuscate the real issue which is just "popular thing is popular and people like to piggyback off popular shit". That's a fact for basically any niche and genre, these trends come and go. Even if the whole cutesy BL trend passes one day (which it will) it'll be replaced by something else that people will also inevitably find samey and boring after a while. This is not a concept that's unique to LGBTQ+ media, it's universal.
Balance is important and I think finding that balance is as much a responsibility on the shoulders of the consumer as it is on the creator. And I don't think Heartstopper deserves to be put into the same camp as stories like LO which literally straightwashes its canonically queer characters and gives those queer identities to nothingburger characters who are easy to shoo out of the plot to make way for the heterocis ones (while still parading itself around like it's actually 'queer rep' which... it really isn't.) Like all three of the comics in that poll are vastly different, serving different audiences, with different goals and intentions. It's comparing apples to oranges to pineapples.
The worst Heartstopper has to offer is just a low stakes plot that might not appeal to everyone or feel 'samey' which yeah, valid, but in the grander sense of whether or not it's had a negative effect on queer media just for being... cheesy? And inspiring other people to write stories like it? I don't get the argument, it feels like it's severely missing the point of what we're fighting for here - to live happy little unbothered lives - but that's just me ╮( ̄ω ̄;)╭ I'm definitely not trying to be a dick about it in any way and I don't want anyone to think I'm not open to the opposing points here, I do agree with you on the oversaturation of samey BL stories, but it just rose some massive red flags to see Heartstopper next to frigging Homestuck and Lore Olympus LOL

Don't uh. Have to answer this or anything. I do apologize for my post^^ it was very poorly worded and I didn't take in account of Kabru. You had some excellent points I need to go and think over and hopefully improve on how I think about on this situation and similar to it. Posts deleted so it doesn't have to be thrown around anymore^^
sorry i came off too angry, i just hope you n the other reblog choose ur words more carefully next time bc it rly makes me upset that ppl reduce kabru into a skinny twink. he’s a well written dark skinned asian character and it’s very integral to him and his dynamic with other characters. other trans people are being transphobic about transmascs drawing/writing kabru pregnant so i couldn’t help but take offense
i think labru just needs more writers who are into t4t bc the writer who writes a lot of trans kabru/cis laios fic is transmasc (a friend of mine, he wrote like 20+ fics for it)😭 just his preference i suppose.
although i do agree, i hope more ppl r open to laios genderisms in any direction. i’m just happy that some artists who don’t speak english are drawing trans kabru due to fandom influence that i rly dont have anything to complain abt HAHA

MINORS DNI!!!
im not marking this post as nsfw, but I will be talking about sex and orgasms in relation to transness in this post. Minors DNI, you will be blocked. Anyone else reading this keep in mind I will be using language that my sexual partners and I use to describe our own personal sexual activities. If anything in this post is phrased weirdly or in a way you deem offensive- remember that this post is not about you or your experiences (I would still like to hear about your experiences if you think it would contribute to the conversation). Thank you. ———————————
Are there any other transmascs out there that have had problems with orgasms pre and post transition?? Just came across a post from a transfem talking about how different orgasms are for them now, with many other trans fems agreeing in the replies/reblogs. My fiancé is a trans woman and she has shared with me (as well as me just being there to witness it lol) how different and powerful her “girl orgasms” are. And like,,, im so happy for you all but damn 😭 im so fucking jealous.
In the post i am referring to the OP also talked about how her orgasms feel very similar to how cis lesbians describe”the female orgasm”, kind of an all over the body feeling that leaves you wanting more. Ive now listened to both cis and trans women (&fems) alike describe the earth shattering experience of having an orgasm, and im honestly kind of upset that I will probably never know what that feels like 😔
Before I started T, it was incredibly hard for me to ever come, for a very long time I was convinced I just couldn’t. I had managed to do it a few times, either from masturbation or from veeeerrryyy specific sex positions (me on top) and everytime it required clitoral stimulation. But even when I could reach an orgasm, its was never that same magical experience I had heard so many women describe. It was like i could only feel the pressure building up, with no pleasurable release. “Coming” for me was just going until my clit was too sensitive to continue, but it never felt like a wave of release washing over my body, just sudden overstimulation.
When my gf started medically transitioning and she first started having “girl orgasms”, i remember her crying and going “holy shit is this what its like?! I never wanna stop!!” And while of course im very happy for her and its fun to get her in that state, I cant help but feel jealous and betrayed by my own body lmao.
i was hoping going on T would “fix” me, and dont get me wrong T has genuinely changed so much about my sex life (as an example I no longer identify as someone on the asexual spectrum! I am constantly horny as fuck!!) but im starting to think my body is just broken. I can come a lot easier now, and ive had maybe one or two orgasms in the 7 months ive been on T that genuinely left me satisfied. Mostly its just… the same. Its a little bit easier for me to orgasm now but they still arent particularly mind blowing, mostly just overstimulating. And i cant help but feel… cheated? By my own body?
Ive listened to so many trans people go on about how hormones drastically improved their sex life, and while it did somewhat improve mine, I feel like I got robbed of a greater experience. Im so happy for everyone finally feeling right and comfortable in their sex lives but damn it really feels like I got left behind sometimes 😔
I am friends with more trans fem people than trans mascs, so usually Im hearing the same story of how much better orgasms have become, so I am curious of how HRT has affected other trans mascs and mens sex lives. Am I the only one perpetually disappointed in my own body or is this a somewhat common experience for people with vaginas? Please dont be afraid to tell me about your own experiences in the replies/reblogs, I am open to hearing from everyone, not just other transmascs :)

Oh yeah the bodysnatcher comment was on her voice BC she has demos now! And she sounds nothing like Flower hgvbb (Honestly I don't know if I like Ci being the bodysnatcher or VFlower stealing Ci's body (would make sense with the vocal change (vocal chords being swapped) and complete lack of regular vflower's style if V was trying to mimic her victim??? Idk I just thought it was neat)) -🌟
I SAW THE VOICE DEMOS NOW LMAOOO and everyone trashing her 😭😭😭

Hey Cas!
U can ignore this if u want but I'm like rllly new to lgbtq (I'm bi) so can u tell me
1. What does coming out as trans rlly mean?
I mean I always thought tht being a trans was some sort of surgery idk that changes u from a guy-girl or girl-guy
2. What does genderqueer mean?
3. What does intersex and binary/non-binary mean?
4.What does queet mean and how is it different from lesbian or gay? 😭😭
U CAN COMPLETELY IGNORE THIS IF U DONT WANT TO ANSWER JUST CURIOUS😭😭😭
No, I don't mind at all! Also if anyone reading this has a different answer or something to add, feel free!
Coming out as trans means you don't identify as the gender you were given at birth. So if you were born, the doctor probably said "It's a boy!" or "it's a girl!" based on your body, right? then coming out as trans means even though the doctor said that, you know you aren't what the doctor said. Some trans people choose to dress differently after they come out, to reflect their gender (this is their gender expression). Some choose to use different pronouns (he, she, they, etc). Some choose to get surgery so their body reflects their gender. Whatever they do or don't choose to do is valid for them, and everyone makes different choices.
Genderqueer means someone who identifies outside of the boy/girl binary. So basically anyone who doesn't feel like a boy or a girl. They could be nonbinary, genderfluid, agender, or something else.
Intersex is someone who was born with some mixture of male and female biology. Intersex people are a lot more common that society makes it seem, and a lot of times parents who have intersex people are told to 'pick a gender' to raise them as, or even to have their babies undergo surgery to reflect that gender, but this can actually be super detrimental because the child didn't choose that. Intersex people need to be taught from an early age that they're intersex and be free to express their gender how they feel represents them. Binary basically means two- the two genders society has deemed socially acceptable- boy and girl. Nonbinary means someone who identifies outside of that binary. They aren't a boy or a girl.
Queer is kind of an umbrella term for lesbian, gay, bi, trans, intersex, ace/aro, and more. But I think queer has also become a culture. There's queer music, queer art, queer tv and movies. Basically queer is anything but straight and cis. (Cis= identifies as the gender they were given at birth)
I hope this helps! <3

JJK x reader: lack of representation
i don’t post on this acct (i just scroll & read fics) but I’m sick and tired: WHERE are the transfem reader fanfics?? where are the MTF reader x (character) stories??
Its like every time I wanna read a fic with my fictional men (toji fushiguro, gojo, nanami, tengen uzui) I ALWAYS have to read the words “pussy” “cunt” etc. when I know damn well I’m pre-op and FAR from getting any operation done. but I can’t read gender neutral fics bc of how girly I am & how I want my pronouns used, and I obviously can’t read male BC IM TRYING TO BE A GIRL, and it ends up being a wild goose chase that just leads me back to cis female fics.
like I don't squirt due to being biologically unable to, but I also don't have a flat chest bc im a trans woman, so I'm stuck in gender neutral limbo!! and god knows how WONDERFUL that is for my gender dysphoria!!!!
like do transfem readers just not use tumblr?? do they all go on AO3?? I dont wanna force people to write fanfics about MTF readers if they’re not comfortable with it/dont know anything about what MTF people go through, BUT I JUST WANNA CUDDLE W TOJI WHILE NOT PRETENDING IM CISGENDER!!
if any writers wanna write about mtf readers w their big, handsome boyfriends, you would literally be the most amazing people ever!! and if anyone knows any fics like that then please point me in their direction 😘😘 (please DM me any fics please 😭 I cant keep going around & requesting random pages)
I could write essays about how frustrating it is for transfem JJK fanfic lovers. sorry if I came off aggressive--I'm just sick of this, and I need to get the word out there:
TRANSFEM READERS DESERVE REPRESENTATION!!! AND WHILE WE'RE AT IT, READERS OF ALL TYPES OF GENDER IDENTITIES & EXPRESSION DESERVE SOME LOVING TOO!! I need all my asexual, genderfluid, genderqueer bitches to stand up!!!!
(I'm literally this close 🤏 to either losing it or becoming a writer myself)

gender in the mars house
this isnt very long & is mostly haphazard and off the cuff but i had to put down some of my thoughts as a nonbinary person on the way gender is portrayed in this book. spoilers obviously
i know as a long-time fan of miss pulley to not take the things she puts in her work at face value. obviously, i think thats true for basically anything not written for children, and even many things that are written for children. something else has to be going on, right? i found myself constantly thinking "whats the catch?"
it feels strange for the love interest to say literal terf rhetoric and imply that bioessentialism is part of the world building. because on one hand this is the love interest, a person that comes across as a charming, awkward nerd in the majority of the text, and theyre saying something completely hideous. not necessarily what they personally believe, but a truth about why things are the way they are on mars.
and because then i look at all these people who were assigned they/them at birth and wonder if any of them ever feel gender euphoria. if you are gender neutral because society says so and you were genetically modified, is there any joy in it? is there any real freedom in it? what about binary trans people? what about people like myself who use neopronouns? is this just neo-cisgenderism? this society is much less widespread gender equality and more of a rigid absence of diversity. otherwise wouldnt we see more genders instead of less?
most of the time everything is very normal. i know so many people who use they/them that it feels very comfortable and homey to see it used so much. but sometimes it feels off. its definitely a cis persons imagining of gender neutrality. because when you create a world where the reason these people are "nonbinary" is bioessentialism and not because they genuinely feel that way, it feels like the gender neutrality is... bad? wrong? misguided?
it makes me feel crazy. on mars gender is no more bc men historically have power over women and kill their wives? women are the victims of biology so now everyone is assigned they/them at birth? it leaves a very odd taste in my mouth. gale only ever addresses it once after this, admitting that actually abolishing gender didnt stop anyone getting killed, it was changing marriage law that did. so where does that leave us
i love a morally gray pulley love interest--if mori was real i would forgive him for all the murders then bat my eyelashes and say anything you want beautiful LMAO. but i think that mystery, when we're dealing with something like systematic oppression, thats a very different thing. i was waiting the whole book for them to say that it was a lie and gender was abolished for a different reason, or that they only said that for the optics.
i wonder what other trans & nb ppl think about it. is there something im not getting? do you like this mono-gender mars? do you think im completely off the mark? if anyone actually reads this i genuinely want to know 😭
natasha i love your work queen but theres a lot in this book that fails to convey what i think you were trying to convey. obv this is just one issue, there are plenty of others that i dont feel nearly as equipped to discuss, in this and her other books. and while i will always enjoy her prose and try to go in w good faith, certainly no one is infallible.

What do you think of James being trans? (Obviously a headcanon haha) I might just be projecting I'm definitely projecting, but I think it makes sense.
I hc him has having an inferiority complex when he was younger, which is something me and a lot of fellow transmascs can relate to! The feel of having to aggressively outdo your AMAB peers because you're constantly being fed the idea they're somehow inherently better.
I also think it would be very silly if he hated Keith as a kid for this reason, reasoning he's a "real boy", only to learn Keith is trans too. T4T jaith or smthn idk lol
Also James is gender.
(also I really adore your art! Thank you for taking the time to read my silly headcanon)
I think hell yea 🫡 Even though it’s not my personal headcanon (in my personal headcanon their cis and transness is ambiguous). Withij my headcanons, both canon compliant and college au, there is never really a situation that arises where the distinction of their cis/transness becomes necessary or significant so i really just never mention it and leave it up to the interpretation of the reader
Its probably bcs my prior fandom space has traumatized me so if im gonna be honest i dont really think about characters genders beyond what they express themselves as 😭 you are boy? Ok! Sorry transfetishization haunts me hetalia and genshin were horrific spaces to be in… i have nightmares about people making one character from an mlm ship trans just for “realistic mpreg”. Oh my god mpreg keith is genuinely so disturbing i get distraught when i think about it. Also this may just be a precaution because of the voltron fandom? Because I came into this fandom like a month ago with the prior knowledge that this place is a literal minefield of fetishizers and weird people. Like do you get it… if i, for example, mention explicitly that my keith is trans theres gonna be people fetishizing that. If i mention he’s cis there’s gonna be people fetishizing that. So my defence is to just not mention it! Schrodinger’s gender!! 30 year old women stop writing crazy p0rn of highschoolers challenge.
Its the same with freaky headcanons like i will occasionally try to think of some for writing and metaphor purposes but i will get flashbacks to when a 13 year old asked me “whos the top and whos the bottom” about my ocs on discord and then my train of thought just stops there. Its like a kill switch. “Freaky jaith? Uhh well-” “whos the top and whos the bottom” “ok nvm 😇” like i personally love artsy and tastefully done innuendo art pieces but i do not trust the fandom to have a great enough level of critical thinking to see past the freaky to see the angsty metaphors i pack my art with.
But i think T4T jaith is fire james can now have internalized homophobia AND internalized misogyny or something!! Yay!! Adding more shit onto his need for perfection and to be a “real man” or something whereas keith dont gaf! And keith can teach james to not gaf!!! Yay!!!
