I really love this song and I wanted to animate something to it, and I immediately thought about BNHA. Mitski stated that as she wrote this song, she thought about how nothing really BELONGS to her. Materialistic things eventually break, decompose. Even our bodies. But there's one thing that can never be taken away: our love.
This made me think of Yoichi, who had nothing in the world that belonged to him but the love he had in his heart. When he was saved, he finally had people who could accept that love, and even in death he's able to share it.
