Oh I am loving the Chinese legend stuff you hit RIGHT on my hyperfixation. Although the Chang'e story I know is slightly different. Do you by chance know the story of Nezha?

Yeah there are probably as many Chang’e stories as there are families in China haha, and um yeah I know some of Nezha’s story too I guess. Mostly just the basics though, the whole blamed for the 3 year drought since his mother was pregnant with him that whole time then born as a ball of flesh demon baby thing. Then something something fought with one of the river dragons & killed his son, something something his dad had to turn him in for punishment or the dragon would destroy the whole town, Nezha comes back to receive his punishment and died. After that his mom builds a temple to remember him by and his dad finds out and burns it to the ground because Nezha doesn’t deserve it/was a demon anyway. His spirit is enraged and is brought back to life by his teacher. After being resurrected he wants to make his dad repent or maybe just wants to kill him? He winds up killing his older brother in the fight, and that makes his dad get assistance from the heavens to stop Nezha’s rampage. Then like he gets pagoda time out for a while and is eventually mellowed by the heavens.

Katniss is such an unreliable narrator. She says "Then something unexpected happens. At least, I don't expect it because I don't think of District 12 as a place that cares about me" girl you deliver strawberries to the Mayor, you hunt and trade for the district, when you fell at Prim being chosen someone caught you, when you went to Prim people parted for you, when you volunteered EVERYONE stopped. Idk how to tell you but I think you're a pillar of the community.

Peeta buring the bread and tossing some to her then taking a beating from his mom is a HUGE thing in the books.#he used his resources to help her like you all said someone should.#district 12 DID (rip) care about Katniss before the hunger games. why do you think she was allowed to hunt? or how her trades were good #these are the little ways 12 can shows Katniss they love her. but again Katniss doesn't see this and YES its because she had ptsd before the #hunger games as well. i swear some of you make it seem like d12 was all living a life of luxury and glaring down at Katniss.#other things that show Katniss is in hight standing with at least her people of d12 is her dad was known enough through d12 for peeta dad to #comment on his singing along with his commenting on her mom. also her mom is a healer in the community. yeah her parents arnt the top but #of d12 but they are/were definitely high staning in the Seam.

was talking with a friend about how some of dunmeshi fаndom misunderstands kabru's initial feelings towards laios.

to sum up kabru's situation via a self-contained modernized metaphor:

kabru is like a guy who lost his entire family in a highly traumatic car accident. years later he joins a discord server and takes note of laios, another server member who seems interesting, so they start chatting. then laios reveals his special interest and favorite movie of all time is David Cronenberg's Crash (1996), and invites kabru to go watch a demolition derby with him

Because by keeping humans that close Autobots basically show that the humans can be used as leverage #against them you know.#He would immediately suggest getting rid of kids and hiring actual competent adults instead. So all hacking can be done by professionals #and all infiltrating can be done by people who are at least old enough to drink you know #yea kids would haaaate him so much #he would also build make all kinds of little annoying gadgets bc I have read Covenant of Primus and tfp Prowl is smart like that #he would be going around sticking trackers on every enemy he fights #and then triangulating Cons positions by the coordinates where their signals stop tracking #bc Nemesis blocks them #He would also keep sending Smokey to ghost through walls and steal all kinds of valuable shit from Megsy #they would be such a menace together #man this is getting kinda long I should probably stop

many things about the chronicles of Narnia made me irrevocably insane at the small age of six years old but one of the big ones was the bit in prince Caspian where caspian blows susan's horn to try and summon help and it summons the pevensie kids like. that's crazy ok. that's insane. imagine at 12 years old you're given a horn thats purpose is basically summoning divine intervention & then years later someone blows it and summons YOU . I'm crazy !

#for me the thing i think about most wrt narnia is like. becoming a legend. the prophecy kids thing goes pretty basicstyle in the first book #but once u get to prince caspian ur dealing w these 4 people whove basically fufilled the prophecy but their lives arent over!!#both on earth and in narnia theyre figuring out what it means to live past the end of their own stories #& not just the conclusion theyve also lived past the happily ever after thehve had those entire lives as prophecized kings and queens n now #they just have to be people! it makes me a bit crazy #did you know wwii was an event that affected many people and showed up in lots of literature at the time in small ways.#cleb talky #narnia

We also know that Danny ‘is LITERALLY a ghost’ Fenton sucks at remembering his own intangibility while ALSO forgetting to look ahead of him.

ALPHA KIDS: Draw your best friends!

DIRK: I'd say I'm better at one on one character interaction work of the more intimate variety, but I think this piece came together nicely. DIRK: Fun for the whole family style wholesomeness, any motherfucker in the radius of a screen displaying this image will instantly get hit with a sore case of heartburn and their tear ducts will clock in overtime at the weeping factory.

ROXY: im so proud of these i think these are my best designs yet :3 but omg dirk callie and jake were SOOO peculiar about their damn designs over my shoulder. jake wanted me to clarify that even in pink pen form his little guy is BLUE. so there. sigh this is the one occasion they could take notes from janey.. JUST LET LE ARTIST WORK!

JANE: Boy! I don't draw often but I always was fond of calligraphy growing up. I was kind of inspired by all of the other's works, but especially Calliope's swirls she puts in her art. It's very fun to add!

JAKE: Im not quite the best with posing, but i find the head very fun to study! Especially skulls.. so good ole calliope makes for the perfect muse! (hehe)

#shes cool as fuck to me bc when I first played jfa I found her really frustrating to deal with #not just as Phoenix but I mean like on a personal level she is challenging because she’s so thorough #and yet I also find it fascinating that she breaks the character she’s built for herself once in a while #i 100% believe that I don’t think she would have caught on to what Phoenix was trying to do while stalling for time with engardes trial #so it’s probably a good thing edgeworth subbed in but she literally busts her ass to bring evidence to court #almost right after having a bullet extracted from her WHICH SHE ALSO PRESENTS AS EVIDENCE. thats metal as fuck ok #especially since she would technically have nothing to do with the case after edgeworth fills in and she still decided to do that anyway #maybe it was blind faith to use that evidence to win since she wasn’t there for most of the trial but still #and even if canon doesn’t give it to me I still firmly believe there’s be at least some chemistry between her and Maya #like especially if you hold it next to wrightworth that works bc there’s already a history there and majority of Phoenix and miles trying #to relearn their relationship is Phoenix coaxing out that side of Miles that he remembers from fourth grade #but with Franmaya it’s something new and they’re basically strangers to each other and one of them almost got the other convicted #and I still think that’s fascinating and it’s a damn shame thay half of the fics I find for them on ao3 is background in wrightworth fic #i did find a good one that touched on Franziska trying to win pearls approval because Pearl does hold a grudge against her #and seeing that trying to live up to perfecting even her personal relationships without getting to know Pearl to even know #why it wasn’t working feels believable when I think abt her as a character yk #myart #my art #doodles #aa #ace attorney #franziska von karma
