#But he’ll try again

Steve wanted to try out dominating Eddie.
He had his hand on the older boy's neck, just squeezing it a little as he praised him for being such a good boy (like Eddie does to him) and how well he was giving Steve his cock that it made Eddie’s eyes roll back into his head.
But… it doesn’t take long when Eddie starts to meet his thrusts that Steve gets too lost into the feeling.
He starts whining and letting out high-pitched cries on top of Eddie, loving how the other’s thick cock rams into him in a way that makes his toes curl.
He doesn’t even realize that he had dropped back into his subspace that had become so familiar to him until he feels himself being placed softly onto the bed.
The praise from Eddie below him must’ve triggered it.
After they had both cleaned up and came down from their highs, Steve slightly pouted because he wanted to do so good as being the dominant one for once, but Eddie just kissed his pout away and held him close.
”You did so well, baby. Don’t worry, we have all the time in the world to try it out again.”

Really fucked up that, when they’re young, Patrick and Art are SO tactile with each other, so comfortable sharing the same space. Art lets Patrick touch him and move him and physically overwhelm him and easily acquiesces to it, if not outright enjoys it.
Then in the present, they’ve been so far out of each other’s orbit for so long, held such animosity that when they have their moment alone in the sauna, Art physically recoils from Patrick’s close proximity! It’s so painful to watch because even as Patrick’s goading him, it’s so obvious he wants to be able to get back into Art’s space. But Art has erected all these walls around himself, he refuses to give Patrick an inch or even admit to missing how close they used to be!
AND THEN we see Art and Tashi later and he wants her to hold him, to be gentle with him, and just TOUCH him. Like, he does miss that kind of close physical contact! He either doesn’t know how to ask for it or is uncomfortable being that openly vulnerable. Worth noting that he pretty much always defers to Tashi in regard to initiating physical intimacy (with their first kiss, though he does state his desire, SHE has to be the one to make the first move). And it seems pretty obvious that Tashi herself isn’t comfortable providing that intimacy, whereas Patrick actively seeks to provide it (the hug/forehead kiss after their win together in the early years, dragging the stool closer to him).
Art has tried very hard to act like he doesn’t need physical affection and even though his discipline and devotion to Tashi has made him a stronger tennis player, it’s made him a hollow person, which, in turn, has kept him from becoming a GREAT tennis player.
All of this, of course, is why the ending hits so damn hard.

kevin mcallister gets criticized for his choices so much but like. home alone does such a good job to lay out why he doesn’t do the obvious. the phone lines aren’t working, so he can’t call the police. and even if he could, he wouldn’t, because the movie clearly establishes that he fears the police due to having gotten caught shoplifting and being chased down by a cop (additionally, we as the audience are shown the police’s incompetence and unwillingness to help). he doesn’t get help from his neighbors because none of them are home, and the one neighbor he knows is busy dealing with his own issues. this movie does nothing but lay out chekov’s gun yet every year i see the worst lest media literate takes imaginable. c’mon guys.

kiryuu sibling stasis post-32 is so interesting to me. nanami tries to leave and is (temporarily but also, crucially, violently) prevented from doing so by touga and akio. after this experience she puts distance between herself and them: she leaves touga’s phone in the car, she resigns from the student council (though she dons her old uniform still), she repeatedly dismisses and undermines the authority of the rose code, of end of the world, of akio, of touga. but she’s still in ohtori, isn’t she? uncomfortable with the idea of leaving, uncertain if it’s really possible. she tried before, and it hurt her. deeply. it’s so interesting to me, nanami’s agency and how she limits her exertion of it after 32, when she realises it for what it is. contrast that with touga, who accepts this weird stalemate between them, who is, really, uninterested in having any relationship of any kind with nanami if he can’t gain something from her. he’s very passive with her after 32, compared to the passivity he’d always feigned towards her before in order to stoke reactions from her and then exploit them. i was thinking about how touga has always been able to sever his relationship with nanami, but chosen not to; first out of a sense of obligation (‘we should live to help each other’) then a realisation of how that could be exploited. i was thinking about how nanami has never realised her ability to leave, in part because it is limited by touga and the harm he does her. i was thinking about the desperation and confusion akio calls out to anthy with as she leaves. i was thinking about how different that is to the kiryuus’ strange semi-breakdown; touga doesn’t want or need nanami, and nanami might love her brother but she cannot trust him or feel safe around him, doesn’t want to see him anymore; she’s itching to leave, and just a little scared (you know, because last time she tried that her brother assaulted her), and he’s not doing anything because ignoring her means he doesn’t have to deal with the emotions of her leaving or staying. something something gendered power dynamics something something tragic siblings

My toxic trait is that I do think Louis asked to forget. Louis has problems; his biggest recurring narrative struggles are with guilt and shame. Frankly marrying the amnesia man for induced amnesia to leave some of that behind, free guilt removal services, seems fully in line with the rest of his characterization up until he starts remembering things and wondering what else is missing.
He knew who was without those pieces! He constructed a sense of self he could live with in circumstances of unimaginable grief by removing the memories that were too painful to carry.
And if Armand was particularly pressed about him starting to remember… he could just make him forget again? Daniel as well, presumably. Like to me it makes more sense for him to be sort of off-balance as Louis regains memories and wants more back because that wasn’t part of the agreement?
At one point Armand says, “We do it together. Like everything we’ve done together for the past 70 years” which sticks out to me because he’s usually very particular about their relationship being 77 years, I think. But what happened 70 years before the Dubai interview? The trial, Claudia’s death. Armand is being earnest! He knows he fucked up then but thinks he’s been doing a good job since then. Because Louis did ask him to remove memories at times so as far as Armand is concerned they did that together.

watching the valeria interrogation again and when alejandro says, “you disgrace the army”, rudy steps forward but when alejandro looks over his shoulder at him and says, “and your brothers, no?” he steps back again, almost like he’s trying to pull himself out of the conversation
alejandro leans in close to her and rudy reacts like he wants to pull him away, to protect him from her and from her words, but when he brings up that valeria hurt him too, betrayed him too, rudy retreats like he doesn't want to be reminded of it
it's alejandro who keeps valeria talking about the past, who prompts her to say more when simply saying she's ex-military would've been enough. they bait each other, valeria far more successfully than alejandro; she’s essentially running the interrogation
this speaks volumes of rudy’s interjection of, “he (the son of la areña) was supposed to go to prison”. he’s getting short; cutting off valeria and her excuses, not to redirect them back to the point of the interrogation but bc he’s done with her. rudy’s terser with her, more obviously angry, than he is with an actual terrorist
alejandro can't get past their history; let's himself get pulled off track and compromised but not be he's more upset than rudy. rudy has just repressed the hell out of it; if he doesn't think about it then it didn't happen
but now, he's suddenly being confronted with it head on
"you disgrace the army," is generalised; valeria didn't just hurt rudy, she hurt all of them. it's easier to take
"and your brothers," calls rudy out directly for his pain; pain alejandro wants retribution for and he doesn't want to face it, doesn't want to admit to it bc he doesn’t want to have to feel it

Y’all remember when Sonic was going stir crazy on the boat in Sonic X and his friends for a few moments just watched as he ran back and forth like a mad man?
That’s probably what Shadow dealt with 95% of the time as he watched Sonic jump from universe to universe while he was just trapped in that paradox limbo unable to do anything bc this hyperactive hedgehog doesn’t know how to listen.

Guys imma break your hearts but hear me out-
What if F!Leo got back in time after Raph’s been captured?
And what if F!Leo deems it impossible to save Raph and the next option that’s “merciful” is to kill him “better than leaving him a slave to the Krang”?
What if F!Leo lies about saving Raph cause he knows the younger version of his bros won’t stand for it?
What if young Leo wasn’t gonna let that shit slide and ain’t gonna let F!Leo touch Raph?
What if F!Leo is hit by the realization that he actually considered killing the young version of his big bro after seeing young Leo save him?
What if he’s also hit by the realization he could’ve saved so many lives in his own tl that he just killed cause he thought they couldn’t be saved?

Imagine if Stacey and Neil actually met in high school except they didn’t go to the same school: they met through Kid Chameleon.
One night, Scott brings Stacey to one of their shows and it just so happens that Stephanie (or Steph) brought Neil with her.
Since they were both the youngest people there (Neil’s 17, Stacey’s 16 till December), they decided to talk to each other and they hit it off.
Stacey also develops a bit of a crush on Neil and would always ask Scott if Steph was going to bring her brother with her again, as she wanted to see him and didn’t know if there was another way.
Then one morning, she discovers that they take the same TTC bus and from then on they talk before and after school and become sorta friends. At this point, Neil also starts developing a crush on her.
Things stayed like that for about two months until Neil and his mom moved places (as I agree with the headcanon that the Nordegraf siblings have divorced parents) so they would no longer take the same bus in the morning or after school. They still have Kid Chameleon shows to meet up and talk at right? Ha ha wrong cause at New Years, the famous break up between Scott and Envy happens which in turn, also breaks up the band.
That whole break up was the nail in the coffin that strained Neil and Stacey’s kinda friendship. They didn’t have the others phone number cause they were both too shy to ask and also cause they both kept forgetting.
There also wasn’t a whole ton of opportunities to ask either of their siblings for their phone numbers so they just gave up and went on with their lives.
But then why didn’t they recognize the other in the like three times there were in the same room together? Easy answer: Stacey was distracted by everything around her to even notice Neil, who in turn, was slowly disappearing into the crowd and fully did by the time it was Lisa’s going away dinner.
So when they see each other again properly at the Chaos Theater, something clicks and they fall back into where they once were two years ago. To them it felt like a decade, but no it was just two years. They catch up on what they missed in the others lives on the walk home.
After that these dorks start dating cause the feelings were still there, just buried deep, left dormant, and forgotten. They came back but slightly different as people change.
