sonic really won't get along with any of the alive yellowjackets in 2021, (but for sure will get along with jackie. just a hunch.)

knuckles will certainly annoy them. mostly cuz he can't remember their names and calls them by what they do (misty: nurse, shauna: housewife, tai: senator, van: shopkeeper. we don't talk about lottie.🙂‍↔️)

with nat however, knuckles does respects her alot more (because she literally owns a sniper rifle, which represents her hunter status imo) along with the fact she does feel out of place after the crash, struggles with her drug and alcohol addiction. natalie's name is the only one he remembers because he can understands nat's current turmoil.

hello againnnnn i have finished the concertos and i have to say i was surprised with the southern concerto but i think it was my favorite of them.... with miss claire and the clocktower and dealing with grief. i just really enjoyed it. also i havent been able to stop thinking about gerda from the northern concerto and how she's just a very tragic character inherently. wanting to make friends and connections but everyone who looks in your eyes freezes and so you just start falling into turning everyone into statues to try and feel something because they can't leave you anymore and then being turned to ice yourself because someone else decided you had to be stopped... and then your only real companion was a blind dragon who couldnt turn to ice because they cant see you. idk. i know she's really just a one off character for the concerto but i do feel compelled to sympathize with her. -📖

Yesyesyes i love the mhyk npcs so much, that color the world to truly feel lived in. Northen witches and wizards in particular are very fun, you will meet some interesting fellas in ms2 and anni4. I have a vague memory of seeing a post on tumblr yearsss ago about giving greek mythology medusa a happy ending by meeting a blind girl who isnt affected by her? Gerda reminds me of that. You say she is a tragic character but she escaped an unfullfiled death and got to remain with the one creature she wouldnt accidentally kill, her fate was a happy one in the end... unlike some of our protagonists...

As for your point about southern concerto's message about grief, thats one of the themes i like most in mhyk, working through grief and regret of various origins, accumulated over centuries. And grief inherently being entwined with love! The clock tower which loved its people wanting to ease their grief, faust's grief over the loss of his comrades from the revolution and alec's betrayal, white's continued existence as a ghost, shylock's conflicting feelings about the old murr he misses and the new one he's shaping, oz's anticipatory grief over arthur making him try to change fate itself, and we're not even gonna touch upon figaro... and so on and so forth

Just had the world's saddest smoke to puberty 2 thinking about this quote. This whole world is spinning on by and I've got nothing to show for it. I went into the city as if that would help and it didn't I was just floating through listening to podcasts from 7yrs ago.
