not the og anon asking about severance, but.... okay, I'll bite, the premise is insanely interesting. however, I must ask. is the old man yaoi real? do you promise old man yaoi in the show? or is it fanon?

Not only is the old man yaoi real, but these old men are actually old (like late fifties early sixties) AND their yaoi is a driving force of the plot, as in, one of these characters is fundamentally changed by his love for the other in a very beautiful way.

Watching Severance and I'm confused, so are the office people clones with no control of their actions or are they the real people, but it's kinda just like blacking out to them for when they leave and go home and it's kind of like amnesiac roleplaying so that they just have something to 'distract' them but it goes wrong when their worksonas actually start to feel like they're their own people but they can't be their own people so therefore, they're trapped.

Idk. I'm slow when it comes to these types of shows. I'm kinda enjoying it though.
