I can't help but enjoy the liquid animation here like it's just oddly satisfying

Also the cup is the same throughout

First it starts plain because Felicia is just the start of it all so a Blank canvas

Then Powder comes along and divies it up. Adding doodles and making it a work of art.

Then after the events and years down the road Jinx orders the drink and we see the cup again but with the art work faded and some smudged away. An art piece that's been trashed or not preserved properly so the paint fades away.

However the thing is art can still be salvaged and be renewed. Making it brand new.

I hope we get to see this in season 3 or atleast at the end of season 2

The non alcoholic drink Vander served to Felicia is the same drink Jinx orders at the bar in the first season. Like mother, like daughter.

just realised that jinx was the product of all three of them. she was raised by felicia, then vander, then silco. sounds like felicia, leads like vander, fights like silco. has her smile, his heart and his wits. has her braid and his scruff and his bangs. she's the best of them. i cant get over it

Felicia basically placed the responsibility on Vander and Silco to secure the future of her offspring because she shipped them even before they started down the path toward the tragic political homosexual saga they got caught up in. Essentially, she made them godparents, but they still thought they were too heterosexual and didn't understand. The first to realize was Vander after divorcing and then many years later Silco after nearly loosing Jinx. This is totally canon. This is what real happened. The real dramatic climax of their doomed relationship.

Seeing lots of different interpretations of the flashback scene from S2 Ep 5, so now I reaaaaally want to do a poll.

What do y'all think was the dynamic between Silco, Vander and Felicia?

A little rant about Vander and Silco backstory in episode 5

I saw a lot of people saying this two things:

1) The flashbacks are messing up the timeline because Silco couldnt know Vi and Powder before episode 3. Otherwise he wouldnt want to kill them because he knew thier mother and promised her to take care of them (I agree with "messing up the timeline" just not with this reasoning behind it)

2) Silco took Powder in and spare her life because of her mother and thier friendship. He would also spare Vi for same reasons

And I cant agree at all. The whole point of Silco as a character is that he would do anything for Zaun. He wouldnt care about the promise to Felicia if he thought that it blocks his way to achieving his goal. He wouldnt care that he is killing her children If he believes that thier existance could threaten his position and dreams. He totally could know Vi and Powder before betrayal, he could even babysit them or smth. But it didint matter, he was willing to sacrifice EVERYTHING for Zaun. And later he was willing to sacrifice Zaun for Jinx. That's what is so tragic and saying that knowing this children would stop him is just taking away from the beauty of his development and decision to refuse Jayce's offer

About second point, he spare her because she remind him of himself. Also she was young enough to be manipulated and not hate him. She was too young to be a threat and that's what save her. Vi on the other hand was old enough to understand what happened and hate Silco, so she would die regardless of who her mother was
