🇷🇺 #Russia: In a likely empty threat, Russia has threatened to strike #UK military facilities after the British government discussed giving #Ukraine long-range weapons. Moscow warned that any Ukrainian attacks on Russian territories with UK-supplied weapons could lead to retaliatory strikes on British military targets in Ukraine or elsewhere.

Russia has also announced that they’ll be conducting drills simulating the use battlefield nuclear weapons, marking the first public announcement of its kind.

The British government says that inflation isn't "that bad".

I have coeliac disease and am physically unable to digest gluten or wheat. I have to eat food made of corn flour, and it's already four times more expensive than food made out of wheat flour. Inflation has made it damn near impossible to find ordinarily priced food that I can actually fucking eat, because all the cheap alternative stuff designed to help people save money have a shit ton of wheat it.

Next time the government wants to tell me that inflation isn't "that bad", I want them to live on a gluten free diet for a week with an average weekly wage. Maybe then they'd fucking understand that just because abled people can cope with inflation, it doesn't mean disabled people can.

Fuck the UK government. Fuck the monarchy as well.

The UK Government have made it deliberately more difficult for young people to vote

i don’t unusually post stuff like this and I don’t know how many people will see it but i’m posting it anyway

the government passed a law meaning you have to have id when you go to vote and the options for young people are way fewer than for over 60s

example: 60+ oyster cards are valid but 18+ are not

it’s not surprising the tory government have done this considering
