Brian has Bowie tattooed in the Blackstar alphabet (the alphabet created for Bowie's final album Blackstar). Haven't noticed this tattoo before, not gonna lie I've got a bit emotional over this.

Quotes I got tattooed

I was always taught that I should not tattoo stupid stuff growing up , so when I did get a chance, I tattooed things that were meaningful to me:

"beauty is terror" (on my left wrist)

- got it after one year anniversary of staying clean for one year , one of my biggest achievements if u would ever to ask me

"Oh no, love, you're not alone" (on the back of my left shoulder)

- I just love David Bowie

"i was good i was really good" (on my right wrist)

- I love Neil , I would kill for his happiness but I did relate to his character and my first quote tattoo

"Forgive me, for all the things I did but mostly for the ones that I did not" (under my right shoulder part of my arm)

- 5 year anniversary since I lost my best friend

"I prefer to think of poetry, as redistribution of melancholy" (same as the one before but on my left side)

- I really don't know

I think I will never regret any of those tattoos no matter what

I don't think I'm ever going to stop being sad about David Bowie dying. It's been over eight years and it still makes me sad when I think about it. I never got over that one. Something about that man being able to die, about us not sharing the same planet as him anymore, just seems incorrect.

Okay only because I am genuinely curious, why can you not stand [redacted] band from the “do you like this song” post? (Not a huge fan or anything myself, I’m just curious!)

they were one of my mum's favourite bands and she died when i was 6 (almost 7) and for the longest time... i mean like... 15 years or so longest time... i couldn't hear them at all without having a fucking meltdown about it which, given the massive popularity of [redacted]'s hit songs especially grouwing up in and around [redacted]'s home city was about as great and awesome as you can imagine

that no longer happens. now i just intensely dislike them. which is a bit like the musical equivalent of not liking bacon in that people get weirdly personally offended about it if you tell them
