“I’m calling it off” Blitz says from the comfort of his own office.  “But you promised that we would go on a date?” Striker’s gravely voice answer.  “Yeah, about that, I have a date with a cowboy at 2.  “But I’m your number one, I gave you a keychain and a booty call”  “Well it sucks to be you”  “Darlin your not sounded like yourself”  “Well that’s make two of us”  “Just let me know one thing, BlitzO who is he? “You should know him well, he is your own twin brother”  “I’ll kill him”  “Take it up with him”

"Mammon" _ Immortal Snail Assassin _ Character redesign/ concept art inspired by "Mammon" from "Helluva Boss" (spindlehorse studio/ Vivziepop) It's Mammon but he's a giant demonic Snail in an evil clown disguise. His eyes are on the sides of the head, the opening of the dress is the mouth and shows the teeth, the shell is represented by the crown on the fake head of the clown, which is none other than Mammon's castle itself. His arms are chains of green light, his hands are gauntlets of hollow armor. The chains end up straight in the demon's mouth. The soul of Fizzarolli chained to the demon is represented on the hand. Forced to serve him by pushing the damned souls to enter Mammon's tent to seek entertainment, they end up being swallowed up by the monster. The demon is like a ghost, representing futile entertainment that leaves nothing and slowly devours the soul..

I don’t know if it’s the shoes Millie wore in the new episode but she looked really tall in the backstory and it’s nice Millie is getting some focus :)

I really am starting to notice a pattern in Helluva Boss:
1. Introduce new character that’s a threat or antagonist
2. Have them disappear for episodes and never be mentioned by the main characters or acknowledged, not affecting the main narrative at all.
3. Insert Stolitz episode or filler episode with the characters the exact same and never changing or adapting
4. Bring said antagonistic character back in the most underwhelming way possible
Repeat.

I wonder if Viv made Stella so idiotically shallow to be a hatesink for the fandom's misogyny. The way many of you talk about her...

Today I finished a big and complicated drawing, not HH/HB themed (I worked on it for 4 days😵), which I will show you on Saturday because it's a birthday present! :3
To relax afterwards I made this adorable Blitzo from the episode "Truth Seekers", which is also my favorite episode of Helluva Boss!! 😋💙
An excellent exercise for lights and shades!! :3
Reblog if you can, thx!! :3

Text to Blitz; So? How'd it go with your prince last night? Details!
( I am sorry for this but-... damn, feel bad for Blitz ;; )
Fizz doesn't get anything for a while, it's just left on read for a few hours. Sometimes he tries typing something up, only for nothing to come through. Then finally he texts back.

btw, just putting it out there that my hope for the Helluva Boss endgame is Stolas abdicating his Royal title and privileges and going to live with Blitzø and working for IMP as their accountant.
Tumblr media
Clearly, they have a lot of paperwork that they currently push onto one of their assassins (Full Moon) and Stolas has been established as a nerd who loves reading loads of boring paperwork (Oops).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It would also tie in nicely with the conversation they had as kids (The Circus), and make it serve as very cute if on-the-nose foreshadowing.

Inevitable Social Class Take/Why Ghostfuckers Solidified My Need for Blitz to Be "Just an Imp"
There's been discourse since . . . before I ever watched Helluva Boss, on whether Blitz might be half or one quarter incubus, based on a family portrait where his mother, Tilla, looks unusually tall, and her horns lack the thin white stripes usually seen on female imp horns, making them look more like succubus horns. After Ghostfuckers, where Tilla appeared with the stripes on her horns, people are saying that the theory is unlikely. I say GOOD.
Tumblr media
Now, let me solidify before I get into this that it's not that I think hybrid imps in Hell aren't also looked down on or treated like shit (look at Striker and the number Hell's society has done on him). It's that Blitz being an incubus hybrid would suggest that he has magical powers of a sort, and that takes away a bit from what I think is so awesome about him.
He has no powers. Only his skill, creativity, spontaneity, optimism, intelligence, and heart. What he does, and what he is at his core, utterly disproves Hell's prejudices about imps and their "purpose."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the flashback to the time when Blitz and Millie met, Millie flat-out refuses to believe that Blitz works for himself. Because imps work for demons higher in Hell's hierarchy-- it's how the society works.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Blitz could so easily present himself as an exception here (special parentage or no), but instead he presents his worldview as an alternative to what he and Millie have both been taught. Essentially: I can do it. So WE can do it. SO LET'S CHANGE OUR WORLD.
Later, he gives Millie a pep talk that solidifies this worthiness idea.
Tumblr media
The idea is really deeply ingrained . . . yikes. But Blitz will have none of it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And that's what makes him special. Not that he's better than anyone else. The way that he can see beyond prescribed roles and defy society's expectations. And help others see themselves as worthy of doing this too!
Also. ALSO Blitz says he's as fuckable and business savy as any succubus. Which one COULD argue means he's similar to them or has some of their powers. OR it's essentially "I can do what they do without their powers hahaha FUCK LIMITATIONS." (The second is the more empowering option in my opinion.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's breaking down society's prejudices one imp assassin at a time! Would this be possible if Blitz were a hybrid and had special powers? Sure. But I definitely think it's more powerful FOR MILLIE without that. If Blitz can be this capable and confident, so can she.
Okay-- that brings us to the final confrontation with Rolando. This guy seems to really buy into Hell's typical attitude toward imps.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thematically, he's throwing the typical prejudices at them and using his "higher demon" powers to intimidate and seemingly easily defeat them.x
But what defeats him?
Tumblr media
Millie's confidence that Blitz inspired, that she believes at her very core, even if she still carries some insecurities.
And Blitz . . . well . . . thinking outside the box and dropping the vacuum cleaner ghostsucker thing in the pool.
Tumblr media
Rolando gives Blitz a look like "nice display of confidence- you've got nothing."
And Blitz notices something he can use . . .
Tumblr media
And frankly obliterates the guy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So what's the antidote to the racism and social class issues in Hell? Well they'll probably be around for some time, just like the ones in our society. But they can be challenged for now by the gang just being their fantastic selves- Millie being strong and self-assured, and Blitz being innovative in the moment. And Loona and Moxxie doing SOMETHING when they come back into action. xD
And all of them believing that they're worthy.

Moxxie probably thinks he has the weirdest life.
Imagine you get caught robbing a bank during a heist and get thrown in hell jail just to meet some knucklehead who starts talking about his daughter and needing to relieve the babysitter
Then you bust out, and are prepared to go your separate ways but then he invites you back to his apartment (unless you have anywhere else to be) which you are afraid to go home so you follow him.
He lets you stay over for a while and over that time, you realize that he's a for hire assassin. A common imp job in hell, apparently. And you can possibly assist. You start an assassin duo.
You continue living with him and he pays you and finally you can afford your own apartment. You buy it in Greed but OOP, you saw the most beautiful assassin imp in greed and you NEED to meet her. So you let her take the hit. And tell your boss about her.
He brings her onto the team and you can't find words. She's so beautiful. And badass. And just amazing. Anyway.
Then within the year with your boss and admittedly he's your friend now's help, you ask her out. Within the year you're married. Kicking ass and taking names together.
Your boss then move you all to the pride ring and a new office. Very official. You feel more...real now. More professional in your career. More than you ever have.
Sure your boss can be annoying, infuriating, frustrating, and make you impatient. But he's also supportive, silly, and admittedly makes you blush sometimes. He is dashingly handsome and sexually crude after all. But you'd NEVER tell him so.
Most importantly, he took a chance on you. And that's weird because you thought that no one believed in you, until him.

Can you do fizzaroli and asmodeus comforting their teenage adopted child after she/he/they had a rough day today?
Ooooh! My second Helluva Boss request, that’s so exciting! I can’t wait to work on some Helluva Boss! Let’s give some love to best Achillean couple!
Fizzarolli and Asmodeus- Ruby in the Rough
Tumblr media
Fizzarolli is an energetic and somewhat crude man, that energy is also applied to his parenting style. He is caring and affectionate but also energetic and can accidentally be oblivious about his child’s problems with his jokester attitude. Though, he will make up for his mistake and unconditionally spoil his child rotten
Asmodeus, on the other hand, is the most doting and considerate parent of this pair. He’s more calm and a bit playful, though. He loves chatting and bonding with his child as often as he can, cuddling his child and can recognise every problem they may have instantaneously. He is one of the best comforters and huggers in Hell
Fizzarolli and Asmodeus, together as parents, as a married couple, as a father and father tag team, for their adoptive young teenage Hellhound daughter. You. A cute fluffy red fox-patterned and red fox-coloured Hellhound; Fizzarolli absolutely adores you and Asmodeus wants to squeeze your little cheeks
Asmodeus is the first one to notice his and his husband’s daughter’s distress. The way your fluffy tail is drooped and dragging on the floor, your voice is softer, your attention is averted. Fizzarolli, unintentionally, doesn’t notice your problems until his husband points it out
Then. As the usual wholesome doting couple they are, Fizzarolli and Asmodeus let you go to your bedroom and speak to one another in how they’ll approach comforting you. Of course, Fizzarolli offers buying you a gift whilst Asmodeus proclaims they should just raise up your self-esteem
And since they can’t decide inbetween each… they pick both
Fizzarolli barrages into your bedroom and basically throws a new phone case present into your lap whilst jumping up onto your bed to hug you as Asmodeus calmly sits down and hugs you right away after his husband, brushing through your hair gently with his mighty claws
After a bit, both fathers respond to hearing their precious fluffy Hellhound cry at her parents’ loving hugs. Crying in relief that both are immediately coming in to help you. You already feel so much better with both Fizzarolli and Asmodeus silently waiting for you to speak and hugging you
Of course… your problem is that people were mistreating you for being a Hellhound, a species of demons considered as meaningless animals, not as people. Asmodeus and Fizzarolli are already psychically speaking to one another on hiring assassins to kill the demons daring to harass their beloved little gemstone
“T-they… he was just so rude” You mumble out gently, long dog-like snout pressed into Asmodeus’ mighty big feathery chest whilst he holds both you and his husband, Fizzarolli to him whilst Fizzarolli keeps his thin but metallic robotic arms coiled around his hellhound baby girl like rope tied around your waist. His long imp tail wagging, Asmodeus couldn’t help but chuckle under his breath at seeing his imp lover so excited to hold their child, even when she is so upset
Asmodeus then whispers out, his dark blue beak slightly brushing over your soft hair, inbetween your tall fluffy red fox-like ears. Fizzarolli is mainly there for physical support, having the right as your upbeat and cheering up father whilst Asmodeus is the King of Lust and the king of Emotional Support, speaking for the both of the parents
“Darling. Whatever those fools said. They are wrong, you’re not ugly, you’re not a useless gross canine, you’re not a pet. You’re a beautiful, unique young lady that deserves all the love and admiration in the Lust Ring”
Just hearing Asmodeus’ smooth, silky and comforting voice alongside Fizzarolli’s warm big hugs is a one-two punch of extreme love to your heart and make all the dread, heartbreak and image problems wash away… well, mainly all of it. Though, both can sense when you’re not fully happy and both are still hugging you. The Sin holds both his husband and his daughter to his chest whilst the Imp snuggles his daughter in his husband’s hold
“I-I… I’m not a flea-ridden gross mangy mutt?” You ask gently, almost like a little child. Not even like a fourteen year old. It’s precious, both dads’ hearts are melting and Fizzarolli openly expressing how cute he finds their daughter with a soft ‘awww~!’ under his breath, even with his deep raspy voice. Asmodeus then nods and speaks gently again
It doesn’t take a big pep talk for this dads to cheer up their child from any problems she has
“Never, babygirl. You’re gorgeous, you’re talented, you’re filled with loveable joy and you have much ambition. You’ll slap down those fools when you become successful”
As soon as Asmodeus finished, Fizzarolli chimed in. Unable to stop himself from stating what’s on his mind and what he’d considered comfort. Asmodeus doesn’t really mind and your fluffy long tail flicks in curiosity at your Papa for what he wishes to add in to his husband’s truthful statements. As classic Fizzarolli fashion; it’s energetic, playful and a bit silly but passionate
Both promise they will make sure you’re successful, wealthy and beloved when you’re a fully grown adult
“You’re warm as well! People should be pouncing on you for snuggles and affection, rosydoll”

People are losing interest in Helluva Boss because Vivziepop abandoned the original premise of it being an edgy comedy about imp assassins to instead make it a romantic drama centered around Stolitz, with Stolas being a pathetic, woobified character who wallows in self-pity as he obsesses over Blitzo, who’s blamed by the writing for not returning his feelings.
Fans have defended Vivziepop abandoning the original premise by claiming it would’ve gotten "boring," which isn’t true considering there are shows that have been on for far longer that stuck to one premise and remained entertaining. A good example is Total Drama, an animated series that has 9 seasons, all of which are centered around contestants competing in challenges to win $1 million. The writing has kept people entertained for 17 years and has created an active fandom that adores the show.
If Vivziepop was a decent writer, she could’ve done the same with the original premise of Helluva Boss instead of abandoning it for a lamer one centered around Stolitz, a poorly written ship that even shippers are tired of being the main focus.

I know the world building is bad, but it really confused me when Millie was surprised Blitz was his own boss but at the same time said Wrath was full of assassins. Cuz like, what makes those imp assassins different than Blitz who is also an imp assassin? How was Millie not "her own boss" before working for Blitz?
Also, the show forgets Crimson exists, an imp who runs his own mafia family. Does he not count?
What about Blitz's dad? Wasn't the circus their family owned business. Or what about Millie's parents or the other imp farmers, do they not own any of their farms?
Also, how does she think they don't deserve to be in the city, when that part of the city is literally called imp city and building they work in has imp horns built into it?
The whole hierarchy of hell is never really explained, which wouldn't be an issue if it stopped using it as a major plot point sometimes, while other times, it's forgotten. The show wants to add in this class/race conflict so Blitz and IMP can be special, but it's not really incorporated into 90% of the story. It's only used to make Blitz look good (which is fine he's the main character but do it better) or to suddenly give Millie insecurities.
Idk, that part just genuinely had me so confused because Millie acted like assassins were less than, or weren't self employed (while working as one herself, seemingly without working under anyone) and Blitz was just offering her the same job, except she would be his employee. Like I seriously didn't understand why working for him was seemingly more empowering/revolutionary than just continuing to work for herself?
It's astounding how much less sense this show makes with every episode that airs.
