A man sat in he judges spot. “Who are you and where are we” someone yelled bruce didn’t care, he couldn’t believe that his second youngest whom he believed to be dead stood there look healthier then when he live with bruce. “Oh, well i’m the king/queen of the infinite realms and you are all here as witnesses” (i stand gender fluid Tim Drake) “Tim what’s the meaning of this” Bruce yelled as he was left in the center while the other members filled the stands. “Darling I think your going to be quite a bias judge” a new voice spoke up, and a man with electric white hair slinked out of the shadows he was about 6’8 towering of Tim who stands at 5’10 average height. Tim tsked “why don’t you and Dami have a seat in the stands while i cover this one” “ Fine he responded Dami is already sitting there” The man bruce still didn’t know his name sat in the judges spot, “I Daniel Nightingale, holder of the ring of rage, King of the infinite realms ect. Charge Bruce Wanye with child abuse, child neglect and child endangerment, his punishment the nightmare realm” The man, Daniel had stated with a smirk, the magic users were shocked what had Bruce done to get this attention from both Kings of the infinite realms. “My dear i’m pretty sure that’s worse then what i was going to give him” The other male, Tim as they had learned said. “ well i’m sticking him with Vlad so it’s a fair trade” A childish laugh was heard Robin, the one that had gone missing sat there laughing as his father was put in the nightmare realm until they got borde of him. “ Well Tim off to the garden for tea with me” the boy had said “Of course” and the two walked off through the grand doors. Daniel watched with a smile before turning back to the remaining members “If you even dare to try anything you’ll be experiencing the nightmare realm first hand, got it?” He said as he smiled with to many teeth. silence followed by many heads nodding. “Good well off you go” they fell through another portal back to there meeting place. Danny smiled he now had a good life with an amazing family and he was going to let nothing harm them.

Cheap substitute ‘milk’ exported from Europe into West Africa is hurting the region’s local dairy industry. A collaborative investigation by Noteworthy and Nigerian news outlet Premium Times into Irish dairy in Nigeria has found that large volumes of cheap European exports into West Africa have outcompeted local milk on price. This, according to NGOs and traders, has pushed many Nigerian dairy farmers out of business. -Daniyan Abimbola, a commercial dairy farmer from Ondo State in the southwest of the country, said this competition is the reason “some dairy farms are forced to shut down less than five years after they are established.” Our investigation examined the export of fat-filled milk powder (FFMP). Though butter and cheese exports are more valuable, FFMP is Ireland’s largest dairy export in terms of volume. But, according to European Commission regulations, were it to be sold within the EU, it could not be labelled a milk product. The European Commission told Noteworthy that this product “can not bear the term ‘milk’ in their denomination” as according to EU regulations “milk products have to derive exclusively from milk”. Consumers in Nigeria seem unaware of that fact, according to market research Noteworthy has seen that was commissioned by An Bord Bia. The Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine (DAFM) told Noteworthy that “Ireland is committed to global rules-based international trade and is subject to EU agreements such as the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) with West Africa”.

This article, while it probably has good intentions, sort of gets this the wrong way around. The point should be, you don't NEED animal products to have a balanced and healthy diet. A plant based diet does in fact have all the nutrients you could need.

In addition to this veganism is a lifestyle promoting and supporting the ethical treatment of all animal life and promoting a philosophy that pledges to cause the least amount of harm as practically possible to all animals. 

The author of this article totally and completely misses the point of veganism. Uses manipulative langue to shift the goal posts, as an attempt to make veganism seem unnecessary. Let me tell you, it is far from unnecessary. It is a necessary step for the environment, long term optimal health and the well being of animals.

Mitt sinne känns bräckligt för första gången i mitt liv; jag står på en klippkant och vet inte vad som väntar om jag faller. Galenskap? Upplysning? Jag fruktar att det ena inte utesluter det andra.

Det är sent på natten, men min säng känns främmande och motbjudande. Mina kollegor har frågat om min bleka hy och mina blodsprängda ögon när de sett mig stirra ut i intet, väntande på kaffemaskinen eller försjunken i mina papper. Men även de andra professorerna hade haft svårt att förstå det jag har börjat nysta i. Jag ifrågasätter också om denna kunskap borde dö med mig, och därför har jag endast berättat för min assistent Margareta om vad jag funnit. Hon är begåvad och driven, men om jag vetat vad jag nu lärt mig, hade jag låtit henne förbli ovetande.

Jag är rädd att den... de... det... ska få reda på att jag börjat lista ut dem. Med hjälp av min analysator, som hittar luckor med ovanligt låg entropi, har jag lyckats fånga deras skapelse, existens och det ögonblick när de krymper till en obefintlighet. Allt detta på mindre än en sekund. Det var allt jag visste när Margareta kom förbi med brunch, och jag berättade för henne. Min teori var att det potentiellt skulle kunna förekomma sällsynt stora fluktuationer där atomer studsar mot varandra på precis ett sådant sätt att de bildar en komplex struktur.

Men nu, efter mina fortsatta studier, upptäckte jag att små fluktuationer visserligen var svårare att upptäcka, men också sällan resulterade i något signifikant. Stora fluktuationer däremot, lämnar mer märkbara spår och är lättare att mäta. Och även om de sällan resulterar i något, sker det ofta nog för att jag skulle kunna hitta mönster så att maskinen ibland kunde förutse när något signifikant skulle hända innan det inträffade.

Jag ber om ursäkt för min otydlighet, men om du läser detta har jag antingen redan offentliggjort mina fynd eller valt att dö med min kunskap. Det finns därför ingen poäng för mig att förklara för den som valt att läsa min dagbok. För antingen vet du redan, eller så ville jag inte att du skulle veta.

Jag beskriver det som skrämmer mig för att kunna konkretisera mina känslor för mig själv.

Jag fruktar att de ska få reda på vad jag vet. Jag känner att jag bara skrapat på ytan, men är denna yta tillräckligt för att de ska vilja göra sig av med mig? När jag drömmer, börjar jag klardrömma; ju mer jag vet om dem, desto mer medveten är jag i mina drömmar. Långsamt blir mina drömmar mer och mer verkliga, och mina minnen börjar blandas med mina drömmar. Jag har svårt att skilja på vad jag drömt och vad jag minns.

Skrämmande nog har min analysator flera gånger uppmätt stora fluktuationer precis när jag nått REM-sömn. Drömmer jag på något sätt genom dem, eller uppstår de för att mäta mina drömmar på liknande sätt som jag mäter dem? Eller hittar jag bara mönster där det inte finns några, och har jag på grund av min ensamhet i denna forskning utsatt mig själv för kognitiv bias? Även jag löper risken att falla för människans tendens att sätta sig själv i centrum.

Jag är rädd att de långsamt samlar information om mig när jag sover, alstrar min kunskap genom min sömn, kronologiskt från min födelse och framåt. För en månad sedan drömde jag om när min far bar mig på sina axlar; nu drömde jag om när jag började studera vid universitetet. Jag har i vaket tillstånd gått vilse i universitetets korridorer för att vägen var annorlunda i mina drömmar, och jag fruktar vad som händer när drömmarna når nutid. Kommer de att få reda på vad jag vet, eller kommer jag att vara helt förändrad som person? Kommer jag att genomgå en ny form av ego-död?

Jag är också relativt säker på att det inte någonsin funnits mörka monoliter vid horisonten utanför Omberg.

4. Es fifas pero no lo mostraría mucho conmigo porque sabe que no soy fan de ellos, pero por amor puedo soportarlo solo a él.

16. Si la relación dura, probablemente abririamos un negocio de consultoria juntos, donde obviamente el se encargaría de la parte aburrida y yo de los planes de intervención. Seríamos exitosos y viajariamos mucho.

Day 5: Heading South

The bivvy bag is swimming. It's not a true bivvy bag, more of a wrapper that you put a sleeping bag in, with a small frame around your head for comfort. Unfortunately, during the thunderstorm, it wicked lots of moisture through, soaking everything including my sleeping bag and making for a restless night.

The morning is thankfully dry, so I leave my gear to air out and plan the day ahead. My phone, doubling as a sat nav, has water in its charging port and won’t charge. More thunderstorms are on the horizon for the next few days, and I plan to head south to outrun the weather. This means bypassing many mountain passes I had shortlisted and curtailing my time in Andorra. However, I aim to include col du Mente and col de la Core on today's route, heading towards Perpignan on the southwestern coast of France.

The start of the day is mostly main roads and open country lanes with a quick pitstop at Saint Bertrand's de-commingles to explore the cathedral. I'm tired today. I had planned on covering a lot of miles, but it seems like it'll be a day of regular stops. A perfect excuse to explore more small towns and villages.

Not long after, I pull over again in Saint-Beat-Lez for an espresso and a coke - a phrase I have learned to muster in French. It’s a Saturday, the roads are bustling with local bikers enjoying their day. At the cafe, I strike up a conversation with some French riders who simultaneously admire and tease my Guzzi, playfully suggesting it won't survive the entire journey through France.

The 1400m ascent of col du Mente is a true wake-up call with its super tight hairpins. At the peak, I encounter a French hill climb club meet-up featuring a range of unique cars I've never seen before, including a Renault 12 Gordini and an original Renault 5 Alpine Turbo. They are quite taken by an MGB that pulls up - a car that's commonplace in the UK, but apparently rare here.

The descent from col du Mente is packed with hairpins. While I still feel I'm struggling with these sharp bends, I manage to catch up with a group of French riders, which boosts my confidence. The wide-open valley suddenly transitions into darkness as I enter a 1 km stretch of road entirely shaded by a tree canopy.

After a refreshing water break by the river near Les Bordes-sur-Lez, I head for col de la Core. The vistas here are spectacular, offering me my closest look at a snowy peak so far. I consider a quick hike in my bike gear but a raindrop makes me reconsider, and I head back down the pass to the small town of Seix.

To my delight, Seix is hosting a motorbike show. The entrance is unmanned, and I seize the opportunity to stick the mud-covered Guzzi right at the front. With live music, food stalls, and plenty of bikes, it's a lively atmosphere. I grab two rhubarb tarts and a kiwi panna cotta for lunch before I meet another V7 owner who runs me through the modifications on his bike, sparking thoughts about potential upgrades to my own.

Leaving Seix marks the end of my Pyrenees leg, which I would have loved to extend by a day. But I need to stay ahead of the impending thunderstorms. The journey out of the Pyrenees takes me through a wide gorge past St Giron.

An hour later, I stop at the nondescript town of Saint-Jean-s'aguies-Vives. Here, amidst the locals playing jaques and veterans in uniform, I suspect a military holiday or celebration is underway in the region. I take a look at campsites to stay in Perpignon, which proves more difficult than anticipated. I’m up against the location’s popularity and a bias against a single male traveler on a motorbike. Not to mention, my fallback option - wild camping - isn't a practical option in the densely populated area. So, yet again I change plan, and head towards the southern Pyrenees-Orienteles.

This new route introduces me to the delightful D177, a valley road that sweeps and swerves at high speeds. One stretch is a straight 2 km shot, where the road is so clear I can see to its end. A closed road leads to an unexpected detour on the lumpy but twisty delight that is the D2. I stop at Quillan for my first substantial meal of the day, though the fact that I have to leave my bike out of sight does make me anxious.

The final leg to my campsite, Camping des Randonneurs, is just half an hour away. The rest of the D177 continues to impress, with sweeping roads, sheer drops, and sections carving through a mountain cleared with dynamite. I didn’t know it at the time - but this was Gorges de la Pierre-Lys - one of Frances most famous balcony roads. The climb on D9 feels like a mountain pass in its own right, the kind you'd see in commercials.

The campsite is nestled within woodland. Here I am, hoping everything will dry before I have to get into it again, pondering about the day's adventures and the journey ahead. Tomorrow might be a long boring run towards the French / Italian border, but I’ll decide in the morning.
