(4.) — Toilette simple en zibeline rouge clair. Jupe plate devant et sur les côtés, s'évasant derrière en plis élégants. Le tablier est découpé vers le bas en une patte dentelée et fixée par trois boutons de velours. Boléro ajusté et finissant en pointe. Le devant droit est découpé comme le tablier et boutonné sans croiser. Col de castor. La manche très évasée du bas se retrouve à la religieuse; le retroussis boutonne en harmonie avec les dentelures de la jupe et du corsage. Cette toilette, de coupe fort simple, est de jolie allure et fort suante. Elle serait très coquette en core en velours côtelé ou même en velours anglais.

(4.) — Simple dress in light red sable. Skirt flat in front and on the sides, flaring out behind in elegant pleats. The apron is cut towards the bottom in a serrated tab and fastened with three velvet buttons. Fitted bolero ending in a point. The right front is cut like the apron and buttoned without crossing. Beaver collar. The very flared sleeve at the bottom à la religieuse; the turn-up buttons in harmony with the serrations of the skirt and the bodice. This dress, of very simple cut, is pretty and very sweet. It would be very flirtatious in corduroy or even in English velvet.

(5.) — Robe de visite en drap satin gris fer, ou en homespun, ou en drap de Paris. La jupe s'orné d'un biais piqué posé de façon à simuler une tunique. Le corsage est une petite veste à basque découpée de chaque côté et ouverte sur un plastron de panne émeraude. Des biais composent toute la garniture; ils soulignent le bord de la veste, se posent en chevrons de chaque côté; entre les biais se piquent des boutons de velours noir. Un col arrondi en velours noir sur dépassant gris complète l'ornementation. La manche, un peu pagode, est bordée par une large bande de velours noir découpée de façon à simuler des dents. Elle s'écourte sur un bouffant en liberti blanc monté dans un petite poignet.

(5.) — Visiting dress in iron-gray satin cloth, or in homespun, or in Paris cloth. The skirt is decorated with a stitched bias laid so as to simulate a tunic. The bodice is a small jacket with a basque cut out on each side and open on a plastron of emerald panne. Bias makes up the entire trim; they emphasize the edge of the jacket, are laid in herringbone on each side; between the biases are stitched black velvet buttons. A rounded collar in black velvet on gray overhang completes the ornamentation. The sleeve, a little pagoda-shaped, is bordered by a wide band of black velvet cut out so as to simulate teeth. It is shortened on a bouffant in white liberti mounted in a small cuff.

As soon as the door shut, James dragged his eyes away from Regulus and looked around the room. It was a bedroom. Why in Merlin’s name was there a random bedroom on the seventh floor? The door had just appeared as well. Was this another of Hogwarts’s many secrets? 

Regulus grabbed his chin and tried to get his attention back on him, but James was far too interested in the room. 

“What is this place?” He asked, taking in the crackling fireplace and the thick rug before it. Regulus huffed but answered him anyway. 

“The house elves call it the come-and-go. It can only be found by those who know it’s there, and it can be anything you need it to be,” Regulus closed his eyes, his nose wrinkled slightly as he thought, and James wanted to kiss those little creases so badly. 

A trunk full of fluffy blankets banged on the floor beside the fireplace as it popped into existence. James gasped. He left Regulus and went to touch the blankets. They were real and ridiculously soft. He closed his own eyes and thought about what he wanted for the room. 

Dozens of candles appeared, flames blinking into existence one after the other. Vases of sweet-smelling flowers appeared on every surface as he walked forward and wrapped his arms around Regulus, ready to pick up where they left off. 

“James, this isn’t a courtship,” Regulus scoffed at what James had added to the room, trying to escape James’s arms, but James tightened his grip, forcing Regulus close again. 

“No, love, it’s already far more than that,” He dipped his head and captured Regulus’s lips, revelling in the little moan that escaped Regulus’s throat that he had caused. He smiled as he slowly guided Regulus towards the bed.

Cool Facts- The rock ptarmigan is one of the only birds to have the ability to change color. These grouse are brown in summer and slowly switch to white over a period of several weeks once snow begins to fall. Instead of migrating south when temperatures drop, rock ptarmigan shelter down and brave the storm. Unable to store large amounts of fat like other overwintering birds, rock ptarmigan are forced to constantly eat to stay warm. Males sport bright red eye combs that are used to gain mates. The brighter the color, the healthier the rock ptarmigan, and the more likely he is to pass on his genes.

(2.) Toilette de ville pour jeune femme ou jeune fille, en bure mélangée bleu mer. La jupe est montée à petits plis autour de la taille; ces plis sont fixés jusqu'au tiers de la jupe et libres jusqu'en bas. De place en place s'alternent des pattes piquées terminées en capucin. Trois cercles de piqûres entourent la jupe. Observer que les deux pattes encadrant le tablier sont un peu plus larges et plus longues que les autres.

Comme corsage, veste à basque un peu longue ou blouse à basque rapportée. Un col très en forme fait pèlerine, couvre le haut de la manche, se découpe devant pour donner deux revers descendant à la taille. Les piqûres qui entourent ce col semblent se prolonger autour de la basque, car elles doivent se raccorder exactement. Plastron de panne rouge; col et cravate d'homme; ceinture noire. La manche plissée du haut fronce dans un poignet cerclé de piqûres.

(2.) City attire for a young woman or girl, in sea blue mixed homespun. The skirt is gathered with small pleats around the waist; these pleats are fixed up to a third of the skirt and free down to the bottom. Here and there, stitched tabs ending in a capuchin alternate. Three circles of stitching surround the skirt. Note that the two tabs framing the apron are a little wider and longer than the others.

As a bodice, a jacket with a slightly long peplum or blouse with a peplum attached. A very shaped collar makes a cape, covers the top of the sleeve, is cut out in front to give two cuffs descending to the waist. The stitching surrounding this collar seems to extend around the peplum, because they must connect exactly. Red panne bib; man's collar and tie; black belt. The pleated sleeve at the top gathers into a cuff circled with stitching.

Veste à petite basque ouverte de chaque côté et soulignée de piqûres qui remontent sur la pince. Gilet de velours brun boutonné d'argent ciselé. Col et revers en soie cachemire de jolis tons harmonisés bleu et rose sur fond clair. La manche tombe droit avec un parement se soie cachemire, à la religieuse.

(3.) Visiting dress for a young woman or middle-aged lady, in beige cloth of a pretty golden tone. The skirt amplified at the bottom is circled with three rows of fine silver and black braid or simply black stitching. This shape is slimmed by the flare of the elegantly falling pleats. Jacket with a small basque open on each side and highlighted with stitching that goes up on the dart. Brown velvet waistcoat buttoned with chiseled silver. Collar and lapels in cashmere silk in pretty harmonized tones of blue and pink on a light background. The sleeve falls straight with a cashmere silk facing, à la religieuse.

Matériaux: 6 mètres de drap, 0m,50 de velours brun; 1 mètre de soie.
