Er war regelmäßig Gast in dem Wirtshaus, in dem ich gekellnert habe. Eigentlich schon Jahre, vorher ist er mir jedoch nie wirklich aufgefallen. Eines Abends unterhielten wir uns dann über meine offene Beziehung, noch einen weiteren Abend stellten wir fest, dass wir beide das Lied aus dem Friends Soundtrack mochten und ich teilte meine Weinschorle mit ihm. Was ich da schon wusste: Er ist verheiratet und hat zwei Söhne. Glücklich war er nicht, das konnte man sofort merken. Er sagt das zwar nie direkt, aber es gab 1001 und eine Bemerkungen, bei denen man kein Sherlock sein musste, um zu wissen, dass er seine Frau nicht besonders gerne mochte.

Eine Weile später dann kamen wir über Facebook zum Schreiben, seitdem gab es keinen einzigen Tag mehr, an dem wir nicht geschrieben haben. Es war unglaublich wie viele gemeinsame Interessen wir haben, so etwas hatte ich vorher noch nie erlebt. Man muss dazu sagen, das mein Exfreund ungefähr so romantisch wie eine Banane ist. Nun mit einem Mann zu schreiben, der genau das Gegenteil war, war unglaublich schön. Ziemlich schnell merkten wir, dass dies keine einfach Freundschaft bleiben würde und so mussten wir Entscheidungen treffen. Bis heute bin ich manchmal überrascht, mit welcher Entschlossenheit er nach nicht einmal einem Monat von zu Hause ausgezogen ist.

Es folgten Wochen der Unsicherheit. Ich verließ meinen Exfreund, nur damit dieser sich überlegt, dass er nun ein neue Mensch mit mindestens so viel Romantik wie eine Erdbeere wäre. Dies verunsicherte mich so sehr, dass ich noch einmal zurück ging und alles viel schlimmer machte, als es eigentlich sein musste. Als ich mich endgültig für meinen Mann entschied hatten wir weder Geld noch eine Wohnung, dafür die Exfrau und zwei Söhne. Wir alle zusammen mussten nun einen neuen Weg gehen, von dem wir wussten , dass er verdammt anstrengend werden würde. Da wir die Exfrau nicht anlügen wollten, hat mein Mann ihr direkt die Wahrheit erzählt. Ab dem Zeitpunkt gab es dann auch erst mal keine netten Worte, keine Kompromisse oder Zugeständnisse mehr. Es gab ein Haus, einen Haushalt und die Kinder, die aufgeteilt werden mussten....

I feel like the "your son's best friend wants to fuck you" trope is right up your alley. Imagine a character non conning their friends mom and telling her not to snitch because it'd be so humiliating for her son

AAAAAAAAAAA ANON, imagine the son just slowly catching onto something being off, he just doesn’t know exactly what. Sure, they were already supposed to meet up after school at his house, but why is his friend here before even he got there…? Why do you always keep your gaze to the ground these days? Why does his friend suddenly have this smug aura about him, always talking down to him? What’s with the weird tension between you two? His friend did do the standard “your mom is hot” comment once (which he quickly hit him for), maybe you heard that and don’t like him now? He just doesn’t know, but he can feel something is wrong.

He has no idea that virtually on a daily basis now, you’re getting bent over your own countertop, railed by this horrible horrible boy who whispers in your ear how much he’d love for your son to walk in right about now. He intentionally pushes it as close as he can to when your son is supposed to get home, trying to get you to panic. Wouldn’t that be hilarious? Imagine the look on his face. Bonemans been gone for a long time, and as nice as the fanon interpretation of him and leo's relationship is... it just doesn't apply here. Ultimately, his main priority is him and his people. Leo isn't his.

I couldn't find a natural place to allude to this in comic, i scrapped like ten different lines in part 25 and a scene in part 11 because it just wasn't flowing right. Eventually, i just kinda gave up as it isn't super important to the plot and is just background information really ahaha
