I've finally decided to dive into the world of Bones and I'm going to take you on the journey with me! So here goes!

I've watched the pilot and am immediately into it. I'm intrigued by the focus of the show as when I'm watching CSI I find the scenes where they recontruct a victims face from the skull really cool and the people who do irl and soooo talented!

Also, the opening scene? The skull in the bag? Obsessed!

Already in love with Brennan and Booth's dynamic, feels very Finn/Russell - there's been some angst in the past that we haven't let go of - I'm excited for their back-and-forth-banter.

Straight away, I like Brennan and Riva, they're funny and cool and I hope they have as good of a relationship as this first episode has shown.

I probably won't write my thoughts on EVERY episode, maybe do mid-season and season finale summaries idk we'll see!

This was an experiment with captioning multiple people speaking at once, and I went through sooo many different phases trying to figure it out. Please let me know how the pacing and readability is! I think going forward I'll try to limit how many colors I use, since it's a little overwhelming.

Video description:

Etho's POV on the Hermitcraft server, near Pearl's bone block shop. Etho stands on top of a short wall and looks down at Scar, who is just below him, sitting on a horse. Scar faces away from the wall, looking down at his horse.

Bdubs, Cub, and Pearl gather around Scar, watching as Etho hits Scar's head. Scar runs around in confusing before returning to the wall. Etho continues to hit Scar at a regular pace. Scar looks around, but is unaware of where the damage is coming from. The crowd pretends they also don't know, leaving Scar ever confused. He jumps on his horse, and Etho's swing hits the horse. Scar looks around in confusion as Etho continues hitting. Then Scar jumps again, and Etho hits the horse again. Everyone comments on the horse taking damage, and Scar jumps around a couple more times before running off.

Cut to a new clip, Etho stands in the same place. Scar stands on the path and looks up at Etho. Bdubs takes Scar's original place by the wall, sitting on his own horse. Bdubs jumps on his horse and takes damage, surprising the crowd. Etho looks around a bit, but never moves his arm. Bdubs jumps a couple more times and takes damage again, then gets off his horse.

Cut to a new clip, Etho stands in the same place and everyone crowds around, standing on the path. Scar runs off as they conclude the unsolved mystery of the random damage, and it fades to black.

[Pearl] It was some- some kind of phantom entity or something

[Scar] Ahh!

-[Bdubs] It's happening still? | -[Pearl] What?

[Cub] I'm not seeing anything in like, in this whole, with F3 + B, I mean

[Etho] Whoa, that was weird. Your horse got hurt

[Bdubs] I saw the horse get hurt

[Scar] Yeah it did, right? I saw it got- it. They've never gotten hurt up until now

i need Endverse Dean to ruin early seasons bratty twink Sam

I haven't gotten that far into the show yet (I'm on s10) so it hasn't really hit me how much different Dean and Sam are now compared to s1. But I'm confident in certain things, for example:

*I assume endverse means later seasons Dean.

Endverse Dean would be crazier and absolutely insane for his babybrother, would kiss him on the mouth in public and not hesitate to beat someone half to death if they say anything, let's say at some dingy bar.

Also, the size and strength difference makes it a bit hard to breathe because uuuuuhhhh. Endverse Dean is big and rough and mean and heavy with long legs and big hands. He would absolutely manhandle sammy with no shame, wrap his hand around those skinny wrists and not even have the shame to hide how much he gets off on being stronger than his sweet sammy. He'll definitely throw him around and go as far as to hold him by the back of the neck, leading him in a crowd or just to do it cuz Dean doesn't like how this random person was eyeing his sammy.

God help anyone who tries to get into sammys pants and get caught by Dean. People have thought he was all sorts of things to sammy before. A random group of teenagers trying to mess with his baby say, "Shit, his dad's here."

Or a random waitress will be like, "Awww, is that your big brother?" And Sam wouldn't even say anything, nor Dean, and then catch them later making out in the booth.

And don't even think sammy is passive. Oh no, he's bratty, fiesty, he hisses, scratches, bites, punches and kicks, gives his Dean absolute hell, like that'll make Dean love him any less. And Dean would let him. He relishes in the violence and rage, because at least his babysammy is alive and here. With him. Giving him bruises and scars, laying claim to his skin, forever.

Also, if anything ever happens to sammy, he can at least fight, his long arms and legs give him a little leverage, but he's still lean with no much meat on his bones, just barely stopped growing, and he can be overpowered by someone much bigger. But if anything sammy is 100% sure of, is that Endverse!Dean will never let anything happen to him. So yeah, Dean shows up and rips the guy off his sammy and rips his intestines out of his stomach.

Then they chuck the corpse in the trunk, drive to the middle of bumfuck nowhere, and Dean leaves the car, takes his flannel off and hands sammy a flashlight while he digs a grave to throw the body in. Sammy thinks that Dean will ask him to take turns because digging a grave is heavy labor. But he doesn't. So Sam tries to ask and Dean laughs in his face, sweaty and tan and handsome, "Just keep the light still, princess." Sam then wants to hit Dean in the head with the flashlight because he's not a fucking princess, but thinks maybe that's not a good idea because Dean will drag him inside the hole and fuck the attitude out of him, then end up going back to the bunker covered in dirt, tasting it in the back of his mouth and leaking cum onto the impalas leather seat.

I’m back on my bullshit. Time for my crazy 9-1-1 s8 wishlist that is based on absolutely nothing.

I want a

film noir

episode, a la Bones s10 x e10 “The 200th in the 10”. I want it to be similar to “Ocean’s 911”, in which we have mystery plot to figure out, that starts with the ending climax and we eventually see how it got to that point but I also want silly period costuming, dialogue, and it to be all in black & white.

I just think it would be neat.

In this series I’m gonna just be dumping a bunch of my hcs surrounding different relationships and characters in Bones, because I’m insane and need to get my thoughts out somehow!

Zack x Sweets hcs

I think they would sing/play music together and (in a reality where Zack is free and Sweets is alive at thr same time) they are karaoke partners

They’re T4T and end up bonding over it when Zack mentions that Hodgin’s paid for his top surgery

They both really like physical touch once they get close with each other

Sweets loves playing with Zack’s hair especially

They play chess together (Zack is astounded and a little mad when Sweets wins)

Zack goes from (mainly) calling him Dr Sweets to Sweets to Lance as they get closer

Booth makes fun of/complains about Sweets liking Zack until Sweets calls him homophobic

They get into heated discussions/debates over sci-fi movies (and other shared stereotypically nerdy interests they’re both shown to have), mainly a debate over whether Firefly or Star Wars is better (Zack on team Firefly-he’s right- and Sweets on team star wars)

Zack actually really likes nicknames and terms of endearment (as seen with Hodgins and Cam in particular) and when Sweets catches on he starts using a bunch of them with Zack (Zacko, Zackaroni, Addy, etc) one time he accidentally calls him Zaddy in an attempt to start a new nickname and is mortified (this goes over Zack’s head completely)

Sweets gives him a weekly update on the cases they’ve solved, with details and sometimes photos

Sweets loves Zack’s freckles/moles

Zack agrees to let Sweets (attempt) to teach him psychology if he lets Zack teach him anthropology/complex math

They’re terrible at flirting because most of Sweets’s flirting goes over Zack’s head and most of Zack’s flirting are complimentary statements without a clear tone

Those are some of my sillier ones these are some of my sadder ones

Sweets helps Zack with his lasting nerve damage chronic pain and scar tissue care needed due to the explosion using tricks he learned growing up to cope with the injuries he suffered due to abuse

Zack is deeply jealous of Sweet’s relationship with Brennan and Booth and struggles to understand that Sweets found the familial love and validation he craved from them

Sweets is deeply jealous of the level of respect and professional validation Zack receives from Booth and Brennan

Zack ends up developing c-ptsd and suffers from flashbacks and severe nightmares as a result, and Sweets tries to help him cope but Zack is too guarded to let him help much

Sweets is quietly jealous and a little resentful of Zack’s massive ‘loving’ family because of how he grew up (only child, adopted, bad foster homes )

Zack’s family doesn’t visit him (hes basically disowned) because of how horrified they are about Gormogon (they called him a freak just because he worked with bones I doubt they’d try to empathize with alleged murder and potential cannibalism), when Sweets finds out he’s both guilty for being jealous and furious about it- he almost calls Zack’s family but he asks him not to

Zack ends up trusting Sweets enough to tell him details and stories about Iraq and Gormogon that he never tells anyone else

He thinks of Sweets every time he sees his reflection and his scar (post s10)

Zack develops a habit/stim of rubbing his head scar when he’s upset because it makes him feel closer to Sweets

After getting out Zack visits Sweets’s grave regularly, to return the care shown by Sweets through his weekly mental facility visits
