This was an experiment with captioning multiple people speaking at once, and I went through sooo many different phases trying to figure it out. Please let me know how the pacing and readability is! I think going forward I'll try to limit how many colors I use, since it's a little overwhelming.

Etho's POV on the Hermitcraft server, near Pearl's bone block shop. Etho stands on top of a short wall and looks down at Scar, who is just below him, sitting on a horse. Scar faces away from the wall, looking down at his horse.

Bdubs, Cub, and Pearl gather around Scar, watching as Etho hits Scar's head. Scar runs around in confusing before returning to the wall. Etho continues to hit Scar at a regular pace. Scar looks around, but is unaware of where the damage is coming from. The crowd pretends they also don't know, leaving Scar ever confused. He jumps on his horse, and Etho's swing hits the horse. Scar looks around in confusion as Etho continues hitting. Then Scar jumps again, and Etho hits the horse again. Everyone comments on the horse taking damage, and Scar jumps around a couple more times before running off.

Cut to a new clip, Etho stands in the same place. Scar stands on the path and looks up at Etho. Bdubs takes Scar's original place by the wall, sitting on his own horse. Bdubs jumps on his horse and takes damage, surprising the crowd. Etho looks around a bit, but never moves his arm. Bdubs jumps a couple more times and takes damage again, then gets off his horse.

Cut to a new clip, Etho stands in the same place and everyone crowds around, standing on the path. Scar runs off as they conclude the unsolved mystery of the random damage, and it fades to black.

You’re Wounded: 

Sees to your wound without a word, making sure it’s disinfected and bandaged and receives proper care until its healed. Places a soft, quiet kiss atop your head, doesn’t say a word. Makes a mental plan to avoid similar situations in the future. 

Brushing Your Teeth Together: 

Refuses to share his toothpaste with you and gets annoyed if you leave the cap off of yours. After you both brush and rinse, will wrap his arm around your waist and pull you in for a fresh, minty kiss. 

Flowers: 

Gravitates toward orchids, especially in darker shades of pink, purple, and blue; they feel a little moodier and less kitschy than the red roses Bepo tells him he’s supposed to buy to woo you (side note: imagine Law getting relationship advice from Bepo). One night folded an origami flower for you, and you liked it so much that he spent the rest of the night folding an entire bouquet, though he pretends it only took him five minutes. He doesn’t actually give the origami bouquet to you so much as he just sets it on your nightstand one day and mutters something about how the flowers won’t need water. He gets kind of annoyed if you make a big deal out of it. 

Type of Date: 

Museum date, full stop. Probably a science museum, but would happily do a fine art museum. If museums were open at night, it would definitely be a nighttime museum date, but he’ll settle for a weekday when nobody’s there. The two of you will lose track of time going from exhibit to exhibit discussing what’s on display. And Law is definitely the sort of guy to read up on the exhibits beforehand to impress you. Would also take you to a bookstore and buy you anything you want if you agree to sit with a coffee afterward.  

You See His Cabin For The First Time: 

You don’t know what you were expecting- would it be sterile like an operating room? You’re surprised to see comic books and a few action figures. He has some records, too- a bit of rock, some low-key emo music- and to your complete and utter surprise, a candy wrapper on his nightstand. And then there’s the coin collection on his desk, tiny pieces of metal he picked up on his many travels. You’re careful not to have a big reaction to his personality showing through for once. 

“I like your action figures.” 

“They’re kind of childish, but-” 

You cut him off before he can dismiss his own interests as dumb. “No, they’re not. They’re cool.” 

Fighting and Making Up: 

His emotional unavailability combined with his protective streak is a source of contention between the two of you. He wants you to be free, but sometimes, he finds himself in a dark place where he just wants to lock you in a tower. But what makes it so vexing is that he won’t even talk to you about it, just shuts you out of plans and operations because he can’t bear the thought of losing you or you getting hurt. Also has times when he won’t let you out of his sight but won’t admit that’s what he’s doing, which makes it so much more annoying. He’ll get mad at you if you do something without telling him, especially if it could be dangerous, which often leads you to argue that he's not exactly known for his communication skills. The two of you usually make up after you’ve been giving him the silent treatment for a few days and he crawls into bed beside you. The darkness makes him feel safe enough to press some warm kisses into your hand and then mutter an apology into your neck. Other times, he’ll write a short note and slip it into one of your books because he’s much better at writing than talking. And if it’s on you to do the making up, cooking for him is a good place to start. 

Paradise 1: 

Climbing out of bed before dawn because neither of you can sleep, having a cup of coffee, and walking hand in hand down the beach, stopping to bend down and pick up rare seashells to add to the collection on the bookshelf in your bedroom, not talking much at all but simply admiring your shared bounty in the pale dawn light as the sun creeps over the horizon.   

Paradise 2: 

Waking up to fresh powder blanketing the ground and jumping out of bed, barely getting your boots and one of his coats on before you’re outside, romping through the snow. Falling into a snow bank with your arms out, giggling as you make a snow angel, grinning even wider when he surprises you by laying down beside you and doing the same, letting his inner child show through for a brief moment. 

Nightmares: 

Bang! He never sees the nightmare, but he always hears the gunshot. He wakes up in a cold sweat, shivering beneath his covers, the taste of metal lingering in his mouth and the gunshot still echoing in his ears. He’s awake, but he’s back in that treasure chest, and this time, you’re the one laying dead in the snow. Alternatively, you’re in a hospital bed, writing in pain, screaming in agony, calling out his name, pleading with him to save you, and he’s in sea prism stone handcuffs, forced to watch you succumb to an illness only he can save you from. Again, he wakes up in a cold sweat, the sheets tangled around his legs, trapping him and making him feel like he’s still in that nightmare, completely and utterly useless. He has to climb out of bed and walk it off, might even train a bit with his sword to regain a sense of control. 

Wearing His Hat: He works so hard- it’s one of the things you love about him. You typically try not to disturb him while he’s in the middle of a book, but every once in a while, you can see that he’s not lost in the book so much as he is holding it in his hands to keep the people around him at a distance, allowing him to think a little too much about what’s stressing him out. 

You can tell by the tension in his neck and shoulders, the way his eyes don’t really focus on the pages but rather look right through them. 

“Put the book down. It’s time for dinner.” Coming up behind him, you give his shoulders a squeeze before sitting on his desk, kicking your feet a little bit. 

“Not hungry.” 

“Yes, you are.” 

He cast you an annoyed look but said nothing else. 

Knowing he wouldn’t budge unless you jumpstarted him, you snatched his hat off his head and placed it atop yours. 

“Y/n-ah.” He pinched the bridge of his nose. “Give me my hat back.” 

“If you want it so bad,” you told him with a small smile. “Put the book down and come and get it from me.” With that, you hopped off his desk and slipped out of the office. 

Law glanced down at his book. He didn’t give it another thought, just tossed it aside and climbed out of his chair to get that hat off your head, and possibly another garment or two. 

I Love You: 

Law is pretty bad with words, and, for lack of a better term, he sort of lacks a bedside manner. Needless to say, this carries over into other aspects of his life, including his love life (or lack thereof; Law has little to no experience in this arena). One afternoon, though, the two of you are fighting because you want to accompany Law somewhere and he insists it’s too dangerous despite all of your qualifications and skills as a fighter. You keep pressing and pressing, demanding to know why he won’t let you go when you are perfectly capable, until finally he blurts it out. “I love you! Alright? And I won’t lose you.” You aren’t even in any sort of relationship at that point, the two of you just sort of stewing in unresolved tension. His irate confession is the tipping point, and you become an item after that. When you hear it from him after that, it’s always in private, usually in the late hours of the night when he slips into bed and buries his face in your neck. Other times, it’s when you two pass each other in the hallway aboard the Polar Tang and he catches your hand in his, placing a warm kiss on your knuckles, muttering the words, and moving along quickly for fear someone might see despite the entire crew knowing about your relationship. 

You’re Jealous: 

Dr. Law and Dr. Robin sure do get along well- so well, in fact, you can’t help but wonder if they are better suited to each other than you and him. Even if they didn’t have such good chemistry, it would be impossible not to feel a touch of jealousy toward the archeologist. She’s intelligent, beautiful, fiercely loyal, a member of the Straw Hats, and has an impressive bounty that she earned even before she became a pirate. Needless to say, you find yourself brooding when the Robin brings him a beer and sits down beside him to discuss the immune systems of fishmen, a topic both are rather interested in. Of course, you’re interested in that, too, thus the reason Law realizes something is wrong when you don’t participate in the conversation. He ends up excusing the two of you and taking you to bed, worrying you had too much to drink, the thought you may be jealous never once occurring to him. You end up not saying anything (many thing in your relationship with Law being unspoken) and just sleeping it off, the fact that he excused the two of you proof enough of his loyalty.

Argus and her recurrent toxic yuris

Finished 2.1, was a fun ride, I think I have a few thoughts in mind but rn the most prevalent one is: Damn, I did NOT expect argus and tuesday to be more toxic than valenweis. So have a compilation of my reactions I guess.

Sheesh girlie is actually just taunting her to the extreme and I didn't even include her whole jab at her candy reliance. This is legit the perfect pair for the hatesex trope.

Like for a moment, I even thought tuesday was implying she banged and stole kayla here lmao

(its canon, poor argus got ntr'd, source is me I swear I'm not just delusional)

She just insulted her outta nowhere lmao. Though a delusional mind (not me) can interpret this as tuesday wanting to break argus down to tears.

Girl was actually rendered speechless 😭😭 Sorry tuesday she does not match your freak at all!!

She cannot be tamed at all and she's so real for that ngl. I'm so glad they went all out on her lack of fear/fear is her kink because I just absolutely adore unapologetic villains and she's definitely one, or rather a pretty good psychopath since she doesn't really care much for people, only their fears (I think, I haven't seen her story yet). Anyways argus made the right decision to dip, she CANNOT handle her freak.

That's about it for this toxic pair but I wanna talk about kayla too since I feel like she ain't a much better option for argus considering yknow, her identity and affiliations 😭

I know this is just an illusion by the motel but it'd be so fucked up if their relationship was actually this toxic, like the motel digs up stuff from their memories so this insecurity or perception of kayla had to come somewhere from deep inside argus' mind.

What's worse is, she could be right, considering kayla is a top tier of manus fucking vindictae 😭. Poor girl has insecurities of being wielded like a mindless tool, tries to assure herself that the woman shes pining and looking for is not that, only for said woman to be avoiding her because shes already served her purpose for her (I think, we'll see in argus' story I guess).

Though it could be a more mutual angsty case if we interpret kayla's smile as a sign she considers argus as more than that, maybe a pet instead :P (have high doubts she actually reciprocates her feelings the same way).

Poor argus cannot escape scummy women, hope she'll find happiness in vertin's suitcase because let's be fr she's joining us.

Also I absolutely love this particular quote because it's not just a jab at argus' trust issues but also an indirect one at her insecurity in her own image, her fear of hesitating, failing and being seen as incompetent (I think she has them? otherwise i don't really know what the townspeople in her hallucination are meant to signify).

Ok one last thought: I think argus' best shot for a happy yuri out of the entire 2.1 cast is legit with Ms. Karen Kimberly over here.

Because as hostile as their interactions are, their dynamic was pretty funny and nice compared to tuesday's harassment.

They radiate big bully x dumb bimbo energy, a pretty classic and tame rivalry dynamic. Kimberly's also the one with the least malicious/mean intentions towards argus, she doesn't want to harm or even use her, she just wants to eat!

So long as they take the time to talk it out and not point lethal weapons at each other, I'm sure they could get along in some way (looking at you argus, put that gun down and listen to your heart more, you big softie).

As much as I don't limit what I draw to canonical events, vampirism is so antithetical to DU drow's character journey that I couldn't really envision it, to be honest, but who knows! Maybe I'll cook up some Ascended Astarion scenario someday that is kind of a role-reversal of the Bhaalist DU Drow AU I have going on in tandem to the story.

I'll be honest, this is one of the rare times where I'm really not sure which aspect of DU drow's weirdness this is in reference to. Do you know something I don't? 😅

His masochism is very... Classic, I guess? He's in it for the pain and for the emotional connection, and the process of being pierced wouldn't cut it whatsoever, it's too subtle. The body modifications he has are an incidental result of it, but they were never really the goal.

Also having stuff dangling off his face or body would just irritate him, he specifically only does rings because all other types of jewellery get in the way too much. Pre-tadpole Bhaalist drow obviously wore them by the ton, but only as a symbol of status and because he had a permanent new-money complex🤷 so yeah not a piercing-type of character at all, sorry!

He's smooth from the eyelashes-down and profoundly weirded out by body hair LOL

I don't personally think that whatever Astarion had for a home before would bear my resemblance to it after 200 years - having probably gone through several owners, remodeled, if not completely lost to the destruction of the end-game. I do HC that he used to visit it whenever he could as an enthralled spawn to read his mail, but he stopped after his father passed.

The latter - for sure. He figured that them dying at each other's hands at the end was a given and took that assumption entirely for granted (and I'm sure daydreamed about it often while Gortash went on and on about political strategy during their dinner meetings.)

;))) way ahead of you and by "way ahead" I mean "eventually and whenever I can figure out when to do it alongside the other 30 ideas I am currently juggling" (but I really do want to make a little comic out of it!)

He used them! Not immediately, but he grew to trust the guardian after some initial suspicion and happily gobbled up those squirmy little things alongside Astarion. Because I made his character on a whim and without any planned backstory, I didn't really put any thought into his Guardian's appearance either, so she's just a human woman with a Joan of Arc look going on who's of no significance to him or his past.

But DU drow did trust her, again not immediately but eventually. It was honestly a big kick in the gut to him when the Emperor revealed himself and it definitely set their relationship up to fail from the get-go.

This is also why he didn't ascend to the next stage of Ilithid power, he just stomped the thing dead right on the spot LOL

He was probably very overwhelmed by the sudden realization that OH, THIS IS ALL HAPPENING BECAUSE OF ME which naturally didn't come across whatsoever to anyone present since he immediately bottled it up and tucked it away out of sight. However, as the story progressed and DU drow helped his friends get out of their respective pickles he was probably able to justify it to himself as it having been for the greater good - since it led to Astarion being freed from his master and Shadowheart to defying the Sharrans.

As for all of the rest of the ensued destruction and death that resulted from it? Well you can't make an omelette without cracking some eggs, or whatever is the wizard version of that saying. He has essentially turned the entire situation into a net-positive in his mind and sleeps great at night because of it.

some are more accurate maybe, some had to be mustered up to be filled in since I had no ideas D:

the guys:

Dutch — Hear me out; fashion shows. This man is first in line for the TV remote when theres a Victoria's Secret runway on one of the channels. That, or those "Wear or Tear" shows. He becomes a true fashionista.

Arthur — I feel, same with Charles, he'd be into watching Bear Grylls surviving in the wild. I don't know how to explain this one tbh, it just sounds right to me.

John — I really struggled with this one, honestly. I could NOT think of one thing he would watch. Anyhow, Abigail doesn't let him watch too much of it, but he'll also tune in when theres a football match OR, even better; baseball. I feel like he's a baseball type guy.

Javier — Another hear me out; Spanish cooking shows. This I have literally no explanation for, it came to me and I instantly said 'oh, YES' aloud. So, I'm sticking with it.

Micah — Would be big into sport channels, football and especially big on ice hockey. Let's be honest, he's literally a dad on Sunday afternoons but like, every day of the week, my little couch potato. His main thing would be ice hockey and I stand firm by that.

Lenny — Just a hunch here, but I think Lenny would like crime shows. Whether it's something like Criminal Minds or actual criminal cases and how they were solved, he'd be very much interested in that.

Sean — LOVES to watch people wrestle. He's either laughing about someone getting their shit handed to them or screaming at the TV for one of the people to punch harder.

Bill — Dog shows!! He loves those dog competitions where people train their dogs to run around and complete the courses, always cheers a certain dog on like it's his own and like he's getting the prize money.

Hosea — Chess competitions. I also don't know how to explain this one much, but I feel like he'd enjoy learning to play/to get better at chess through watching others play it, making little notes on a paper.

Strauss — Gotta be those old people Bingo channels with like, live games. He tried making his own bingo cards and literally nobody wanted to play with him because they said it was boring—and that he did it all wrong :( Otherwise peepaw loves that stuff.

Josiah — He loves watching "[Country]'s Got Talent", any country really. As soon as he sees a magician come up, he instantly locks in to see if he knows the trick that person is trying to do, and he especially loves the dangerous stunt compilations on Youtube. Rewatches them on a daily.

Reverend — Mostly online church services and those live broadcasts of it. If not that, which he does daily imo, it'll be some drug documentary. (struggled with this one D:)

Charles — National Geographic Documentaries; do I need say more? It's how he mostly learns about wildlife, if you don't count books. That, or I feel like he'd enjoy watching Bear Grylls surviving in the wilderness.

Jack — Honorable mention for Jack, the Kratt Brothers.

the girlies:

Sadie — She's also into crime shows, and especially true crime. You can't watch it with her because she loves to comment on EVERYTHING happening in the show, stuff like calling the killers bastards and finding what the clues the police find mean before the people in the show do sometimes.

Tilly — I was unsure of this at first, but I feel like she'd enjoy either cooking or gardening shows, but I'm more leaning to the latter. Likes to learn about all the different plants, sometimes writes information down in case she wants to plant something herself.

Mary-Beth — You know she'd be big into drama series and all the different reality TV shows. I swear, she'd literally LOVE Croatian drama shows and series so much, on the edge of her seat the entire time, literally. That, or she loves cheesy romances, of course.

Karen — I don't know if you guys have this, but we have a show which roughly translates to "Marriage at first", where two people get married at first sight. You can say yes or no at the altar after you see them for the first time, and the show leads you through the upcoming two-three weeks before the wedding. She'd love that, would be judging the wedding dresses the women pick the entire time.

Molly — Watches sickly sweet romcoms to heal her poor, broken heart. Good for her. :(

Abigail — Watches whatever Jack wants to watch mostly, but if she's got free time to watch something herself, she'll mostly use drama shows as background noise. Somehow, I feel like she isn't big on watching TV, so like myself basically.

Susan — She reminds me so much of my grandma that I have to say Turkish drama shows. My grandma has to be in bed by 8pm sharp with her shows, and that is exactly how I see Susan😭

Summary: Yunho's dream was to open and run his own restaurant. But he doesn't know anything when it comes to cooking. Until you came along and accepted the job, bringing with you a small crew. How will the black cat tame the energetic golden retriever?

When you woke up, you saw Wooyoung in your kitchen, standing over the stove. Seonghwa was still asleep in your bed and you assumed Jongho was also passed out in the guest room where he shared a bed with Wooyoung.

"You're up early..." You yawned.

"Hi, love~ Good morning." Wooyoung smiled sweetly. He poured coffee into your mug and slid it over to you, as well as a small bottle of hangover cure.

"Thanks." You took a sip of coffee first before drinking the hangover cure. Then you shuffled over to him.

"What are you making?" You peered over his shoulder.

"Sopa de fideo, our usual hangover cure. I would have made avgolemono (Greek soup with lemon and chicken broth, thickened with eggs) but you're out of lemons." He said.

"Oh, I better remember to get some when I go to the shops again. And I'm always down for sopa." You smiled.

"Better add fideo pasta then. I just used the bag up." Wooyoung informed. You nodded with a hum and went to the fridge. You started to make a mixed fruit juice for Seonghwa, knowing he liked sweets to help him get over a hangover. He also didn't like bitter things and didn't like coffee.

"Hwa might only wake up later. After his drunk nagging and making fun of me, I only managed to get him to sleep at like 6 am." You clicked your tongue.

"He is so funny when he's drunk." Wooyoung snickered.

"If he's so funny, next time, you take him. The both of you were messes, Jongho and I wanted to just leave you both out here."

"Let's do that next time." Jongho spoke, letting out a loud yawn and stretching his arms over his head. He had an arm on his neck as he stretched out the stiff muscles.

"Jong, your hair." You laughed, reaching out to help him tame his messy bedhair.

"Wooyoung hyung kicked me in my ribs. I think I have a bruise." Jongho hissed, glaring at Wooyoung, who turned back to the stove and whistled innocently. You went to pour Jongho a big mug of coffee and get a small bottle of hangover cure.

"Alright, later, let's try to compile a list of produce suppliers we can contact for the restaurant. We'll probably have to use our own equipment until Yunho can get them in." You said.

"Yes. We'll definitely need our stand mixers." Jongho nodded.

"Ugh, those things are so heavy though. It's going to be a nightmare to transport them back and forth." Wooyoung whined.

"And at the same time, we can discuss a menu so we know what equipment we need." You added. When Wooyoung finished cooking, he portioned everything out.

"Pepper mill, please." You asked. Once Jongho finished garnishing his own bowl, he handed it over to you.

"Is Hwa hyung unconscious?" Jongho asked. Wooyoung snorted as he took a bite of food.

"I think so. He's too talkative when he drinks. I might have smothered him with my pillow in my intoxicated state." You shrugged. You said that with such a straight face that others who didn't know you might have thought you were serious. But Jongho and Wooyoung knew you long enough to know you were joking.

"Thanks for cooking, Woo. It was just what I needed." You said, starting to do the dishes. When Jongho was done, he came to help you dry the things and put them away.

"We'll have to wake Hwa soon." You yawned, laying over the couch.

"Ah, let him sleep more." Wooyoung grinned, coming over and laying his body on top of yours, making you grunt.

"Don't squish her, hyung." Jongho said, sitting on the armchair after refilling his coffee tumbler.

"Yah, Choi Jongho. I'm not that heavy." Wooyoung scolded and made no effort to remove himself from you. He even snuggled closer to you, letting out happy sounds.

"I'm so glad we're past the stage of you wanting to claw my eyes out." He giggled.

"Who says we're past the stage?" You mumbled.

"Okay, I'm going to take a warm shower. My brain is fogging." Jongho stood up and went to the room. You poked Wooyoung in his ticklish spots, making him yelp and yell until he got off you. You smiled victoriously and went to your room.

"Hwa!" You jumped onto the lump under the blanket like an evil cat. Seonghwa groaned at the impact, shifting under the blanket. You wriggled your body, squishing him.

"Darling, I'm not going to go deeper into the mattress." Seonghwa murmured, his voice muffled by the blanket.

"Wake up, Hwa. There's things to discuss."

"Well, I can't with you on me, can I?" He chuckled. You didn't even have a chance to get up before the door opened and a very loud Wooyoung barged in.

"Cuddle pile?! Where was my invite?!" He complained as he fell on top of you. You and Seonghwa winced.

"This isn't a cuddle pile! I'm trying to wake Hwa up." You squirmed.

"And not doing a very good job at it." Seonghwa said, reaching out from under the blanket to stroke your head while you shot him an offended look.

"We can just stay here all day." Wooyoung wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you in to hug you, burying his face into your back. As you laid between them, Seonghwa shifted slightly so you had space but was still hogging your duvet. He was wrapped in it like a comfortable burrito.

"You should eat something, Hwa. I made you mixed juice in the fridge since you don't drink coffee." You said.

"What's the food? Did you cook?" He asked, voice slurring ever so slightly, an indication that he was falling back asleep very soon.

"I made sopa. Miss (y/n) here needs to go to the shops soon, she didn't even have lemons in the fridge." Wooyoung replied. You reached behind and slapped his hip.

"Hmm..." Seonghwa hummed. His eyes were the only thing you could see peeking over the blanket and they were closed.

"Hwa's so tired." You whispered to Wooyoung. Seeing Seonghwa so tired, you didn't really have it in you to wake him up again, wanting to let him sleep.

"And hungover." Wooyoung added.

"Yet both of you were the ones who didn't want to stop drinking last night." You said softly, turning your head to see Wooyoung just press his lips into a thin line. He clearly didn't remember what happened last night, none of the boys do. Even Jongho.

When you turned around again after a while to see why Wooyoung was so quiet, you realised that he had fallen back asleep too. You carefully slipped out of his grasp.

"Where's everyone?" Jongho asked when he saw you emerge. He had a towel on his head, used to dry his hair.

"Sleeping in my bed." You sighed and sat down beside him.

"Want to go to the shops?" He suggested. That wouldn't be a bad idea. Jongho was objective and didn't get as distracted as Seonghwa and Wooyoung.

"Sure. Just let me go change." You stood up, heading into the room to get some clothes.

Yunho let out a tired sigh as he came out of his father's office. He spent the night drafting a contract between himself and your cooking team. Then the moment it hit morning, he drove to his father's law firm to have him look it over. Mr Jeong made some edits but nothing major before sending his son off.

'Where are you? Want to go get brunch with Yeosang and I? - San'

'I just came out of my father's office after letting him look over the contract I drew up last night... Sure, I'll eat then go home to sleep. Text me the address. - Yunho'

After receiving the location address, Yunho drove over to where San and Yeosang were.

"Hey, sorry for the wait." Yunho said to his friend as he approached their booth. They shook their heads, San sliding in for Yunho to sit.

"How did it go?" Yeosang asked.

"It's fine. My dad made some minor changes but nothing too major. It's just a 1 year contract anyway, which I know how to draft." Yunho shrugged, looking through the menu.

"I meant with the cooking team. Must have went well for you to draft a contract right away." Yeosang laughed.

"Oh! It went well. Hongjoong hyung's friend, Seonghwa sshi, he is like their manager or some sort. But the main chef is this girl, (y/n) sshi. She's really cool, you'll see what I mean when you meet her tomorrow." Yunho grinned.

"Do you already have a crush on her?" San raised an eyebrow.

"No! I don't. She's just cool... I want to be her friend. And the other two guys in the team are cool as well, they're all cool! Seonghwa sshi and Wooyoung sshi are sous chefs. Jongho is a prep chef."

"That's nice, Yunho ah. But can the 4 of them handle the workload or bakery items and dinner service?" San asked.

"Well, that seemed to be their concern too. But I think they worked out a schedule." Yunho shrugged.

"That's why there's a contract?" Yeosang clarified. Yunho nodded.

"Oh yes, I was going to text (y/n) to tell her the contract has been drawn so they can sign it before work tomorrow." Yunho took his phone out to text you with an excited smile.

"Wow, tomorrow is opening." San said in disbelief. After seeing Yunho work so hard for the restaurant, it was finally going to open.

"I know, it feels weird to say that it's opening tomorrow. I can't believe it, really. Time passes so fast with all the construction and sourcing of things to put the restaurant together." Yunho rubbed the back of his neck. Just thinking about it made his heart race with anticipation, all the fatigue melted away.

"Let's order. I'm starving, I need my protein." Yeosang said. The both of them were gym rats so their post gym meals were always large. Yunho, Hongjoong and Mingi were always too lazy to go.

After the waiter took their order, they continued their conversation. Yunho glanced at his phone when you replied.

'Thank you for preparing it in such a timely manner, Yunho sshi. What time should my team and I be in tomorrow? - (y/n) sshi'

'You're welcome! 😊 It was no big deal at all, actually. Part of the job. How long will you and the team need to start preparing the pastries for opening? 🤔 - Yunho sshi'

'Depends. We will need to source for ingredients since the fridges and cupboards are empty. - (y/n) sshi'

'Sorry about that 😞 - Yunho sshi'

'I didn't say that for you to apologise to me. It is understandable since you didn't have a kitchen crew until yesterday. If possible, can I drop by later today to bring some equipment and ingredients for storage to be used tomorrow morning? - (y/n) sshi'

'Of course! What time is good? - Yunho sshi'

'Say 4pm? - (y/n) sshi'

Yunho had been so busy talking to you that he didn't notice Yeosang and San stopping their conversation to stare at him. He had a dopey grin on his face.

"Earth to Yunho?" San waved his hand in front of the taller male's face, making Yunho blink and look up.

"Who are you talking to...?" Yeosang leaned on his hands.

"Oh, (y/n) sshi asked if she can drop off ingredients and equipment off later at the restaurant. So she doesn't have to bring them in with the team at 5am." Yunho informed.

Yunho didn't know why he looked forward to working with you. Maybe because you seemed so wise when it came to food. The last person who awe'd him with food knowledge was his own grandmother, the whole reason why he loves food and eating, and wanted to open his own restaurant.

"Here you go." The waiter came back with their food and drinks, giving out the plates.

"Thank you for the food." The boys chimed and dug in.

"I'll help you behind the coffee counter tomorrow, Yunho. We can barista together." San smiled. Out of the group, Yeosang and Hongjoong were the worst with handling food.

"Mingi's going to try and sneak into the kitchen to steal food." Yeosang chuckled.

"He does love bread and pastries." Yunho rationalised.

After that brunch, Yunho went home to catch up on some much needed sleep. He made sure to set an alarm, he didn't want to be late to meeting you.

Yunho was on time, but when he pulled up into the parking space beside the restaurant, he saw you waiting there, leaning against a van and fiddling with your phone. His eyes widened in panic as he rushed to remove his seat belt and got out.

"Sorry I'm late!" He ran over.

"You're not late. I was early." You raised an eyebrow, standing up and tucking your phone into your pocket. Compared to yesterday, you were dressed a lot more casually, in sweats and a hoodie.

"Are you on your own?" He tilted his head when he noticed there was no one else in the van. You gave a nod and a hum, tugging your hoodie down.

"I'll get a trolley from inside. Hold on." Yunho went into the restaurant and grabbed a trolley.

"Oh wow." He was stunned when you pulled open the van door, revealing all the ingredients and equipment inside.

"We should move the cold stuff in first. It's these." You pointed to the cartons butter, milk, cream and other things that needed to be in the refridgerator immediately.

"Sure." He picked up the cartons and stacked them onto the trolley, wheeling them in.

"Why don't you stock the fridge while I bring the rest in? I'll bring the produce first." Yunho suggested. You nodded and went into the walk in, which was already turned on and cold. You began to stack everything inside, making a mental note to get bins and labels to organise it better.

"(y/n) sshi?" Yunho called you and you stepped out to see that he really brought in all the produce on his own. You were impressed by his energy and strength.

"That's fast." You chuckled. His ears turned red at your words but he maintained his grin.

"What should I do next?" He asked, enthusiasm in his voice. You imagined if he had a tail, he would be wagging it.

"Well, let's organise these first then. Before bringing in the equipment." You told him. He nodded and helped you bring the vegetables in.

"Shall I put these here?" He asked. You gave a nod and he put the vegetables neatly. He hummed softly to himself as he worked.

*RINGGGGGG

"Excuse me." You left Yunho and stepped out to answer the phone. Since you just stood in the kitchen, Yunho could hear bits and pieces of your conversation.

"Hwa, you were sleeping so I went to the shops with Jongho... No, he is not with me now. He had to go to his parents' place... I'm at the restaurant with Yunho. I brought some produce and equipment for tomorrow..." You said.

"Well, I tried to wake you. You went back to sleep... I borrowed a van from my neighbour and brought everything over... Don't worry, I can manage. Yunho did most of the lifting." You sighed.

"Alright... Make the bed before you go, I don't like my sheets in a mess." You hummed and ended the call.

Yunho's eyes widened. Were you and Seonghwa in a relationship? Judging by how caring and protective Seonghwa was of you, he shouldn't be surprised.

"Apologies." You came back and Yunho shook his head, acting like he had been busy.

"That's done. I won't need the meats in the freezer since we are serving them tomorrow." You said.

"So we bring the equipment in?" He asked. You nodded and walked out with Yunho trailing behind you. The equipment wasn't much but you did bring yours and Jongho's stand mixers.

"These are heavy." Yunho grunted as you lifted them from the trolley and onto the counters.

"They need to not move when mixing." You replied. Other than that, you brought in some pots, pans, a sous vide machine, a vaccum sealer and smaller essentials like mixing bowls, cutting boards and other cooking utensils.

"Let me know how much these are. I'll pay you back." Yunho said as he unwrapped the new set of measuring cups while you sorted the cooking utensils.

"It's fine."

"(y/n) sshi, these are for use in here so please, let me pay you back for them." He begged with a small pout.

"Alright." You nodded. Yunho glanced at you as your organised the kitchen in a particular way. He guessed it was the way you and your team worked comfortably.

You didn't try to make conversation with him but you could feel his eyes on you. You just continued arranging what you needed.

"S-So what did you have in mind for the menu tomorrow?" He stuttered.

"For the bakery, looks like it'll be lemon poppy seed madeleines, strawberry basil tartlets and palmiers. For the cakes, we're thinking a cheesecake of some sort, yuzu drizzle loaf and red velvet." You listed out, having brainstormed with Jongho at the market earlier so you could buy ingredients.

"Oh wow. That all sounds so good." Yunho's jaw slackened slightly at your words.

"If there's time, we'll push more stuff out since we want to test to ovens and equipment." You explained.

"Then is there any prep stuff that you need to do now?" Yunho only knew that some dishes needed to be prepared early because his grandmother used to marinate meats and vegetables overnight.

"Are you able to assist with food prep?" You eyed him.

"I have not done it before but I can try!" He grinned excitedly.

"Never said you will be." You stated, going to get your apron. You grabbed a spare apron and handed it to him.

"Actually, I'll help you sanitise and wash the stuff first. I might not be much help." Yunho rubbed the back of his neck when he saw you take your wrap of kitchen tools out, including your knife.

"We haven't even started yet..." You scoffed.

"Yeah but I feel like I might be in your way. When I was granted my food license, the intructor told me he hopes I'm not actually going to put my food license to use... I'm better washing dishes than actually cooking..." He said in embarrassment, his ears turning red. But you noticed the small pout on his face.

"Just try. If you can't, you can't." You turned to the counter space to continue setting up. Yunho smiled softly, grateful for your indirect way of encouragement?

"Okay, so we'll start with a blackberry apple tuile. We can leave it in the dehydrator overnight." You said.

"I'll get the cutting boards washed." Yunho said while you went into the walk in to get the ingredients that you would need.

You laid out the ingredients and used the sink on the other side to wash the fruit that you would be using. When they were done, you stood next to Yunho and started working on the apples.

"Umm..." Yunho didn't move. He didn't know what to do. For a moment, you forgot he was new to this.

"Sorry. Here. Use this." You handed him one of your spare utility knives.

"Hold the knife like this and slice the blackberries in half like this." You demonstrated. Yunho nodded and began doing the task. You watched him for a bit, worried that he might cut himself since he seemed a little wobbly.

Once again, we meet Union Auxiliary Pilot, (28th Voidcombat Division, Mercenary Wing Bravo,) ["Kingfishers",] Callsign- VI The Lovers. We meet Miss Allison Wax (she/her) [Her Body, a borrowed face]

And her Loverboy (he/him) [Stone Butch Death Machine]

"Hey boss man," The words fell out of her lips, halfway through (the next words were a question) when her CO interrupts with "I told you not to call me that." She stops. (She doesn't flinch, its not flinching.) [She kind of just needs to run through some maybes.] For just that moment, there's no one in the body in front of the CO. And then she starts again, words coming back out. "Alright, alright. CO, what's the job you got lined up for me and my Loverboy?" The CO gestured to the spare chair with a file, and Allison picked her way across the floor. (She walked on the tips of her toes, even in the sneakers.) [She walked with a gait to big for her body, like her legs were blades.] {She's En Pointe} She pulled out the chair and sat, crossing a leg across her lap and looking at the CO through her bangs. "The next mission shouldn't be for a while yet, Miss Wax." The CO's voice was always even, collected. That's why they were the CO. That's why they wore Union Grays and Allison wore what she always did. (Just put clothes on Her body) [What kind of clothes did She wear before Allison?] A thought dismissed with the disappointment of nearlight engines. "Really now, CO? How long are you gonna keep me up? More time in medbay?" The CO shakes their head, opening files, going through them. The work seems endless, running a Merc Lance. (But what's Alllison gotta worry about work?) [Gets to wound up, being in a ship conapt too long without her Loverboy.]

"So is it more time with the headmeds?" The CO looks up from the papers and gives that kind of pained smile as Allison snatches a file off the table to read. (One of the ones with the Mission Seal on it.) [Can't read Unionite Legalese for shit.] "No, Miss Wax, you're scheduled for wind-down, but you don't need to go see one of the after-action therapists- unless you feel the need of course." So she started paging through the mission file, going over the after action reports compiled from her Loverboy (From his eye, from his soul.) [The stars are beautiful at 2,000 kmph.] "So there's really no jobs, CO? Not even basic patrols? I get bored when I'm stuck down too long." The CO holds out their hand, and she returns the file. (She likes to feel like she earns her keep.) [That's just polite, for all the things Union offers.] "Miss Wax," the CO begins "I understand that talented pilots get odd without flight." That's the thing about Grays- they're willing to work with you more than they aren't. (Its not that Allison thought they were pushovers.) [Just the most reasonable kind of people, mostly.] I can organize testflights for you, if you see that there isn't more work for the technicians." There's what she wants to hear (But not quite).

"Work's good for me, CO. You wouldn't let a butterfly starve in a jar, would you?" The CO folds the file closed. (Her file.) [The one that says "Obvious signs of long-term Chronos exposure."] Doctors let you read files out this way. Its nice to know they care, at least. CO gives their answer. "Miss Wax, war's a failure and you're a contingency. Glory only comes with time. Take your mech out, call it a patrol if that helps, but my job is to make sure the mercenaries stay healthy and stay flying." There's more, Allison knows there's more, and she stops a moment. For that split second, she's not in Her body. Allison is watching Her sit there, in the chair, in Allison's clothes, across from the CO. (The look on their face is kind of worried.) [People still caught in their meat don't like being reminded of it's hold on them.] Allison picks a maybe, a series of words that seem right, and then the moment is over, and she's back in Her body. "So where are we headed, CO? You can at least let me prepare for the future."

"We're headed to Dawnline, Miss Wax. There'll be work aplenty for you in the Long Rim and beyond."

The cavalry technician looked up at the frame he was gonna work on. It was a custom job, one of the Lancers that the Aux had brought onboard when coming out of the Range. Long haul ships for Union do that sometimes, guard presence in exchange for amnesty and escape. Good people get trapped places. He just wasn't sure whoever flew this thing was the best kinda people. "Beautiful damn monster you are." The mechtech murmured under his breath, looking through a sheaf of printouts. Specs for the machine in front of him, an IPS-N Frame the pilot apparently fit together herself. He didn't, really trust the speed listed under its maximum output. That kind of speed would make someone grayout (The speed at which the blood of a human body begins to pool in the limbs, causing the pilot to lose consciousness). Redout even. [The point of g-force at which the brain is starved of blood, and dies.]

He looked up again at the machine and saw it was staring back at him, great singular eye tracking along its axis, to cast its baleful red upon him. He noted it, and looked back to his notes. Looking for if this thing had a casket it in, a C/C programmed to play tricks. The normal shit pilots pull on their technicians. He came up around the great black thing in its bay, and stared it in the eye from the gantry. It stared back, body making the clittering hiss of a mech at rest. (Mechanized Cavalry frames that are in regular usage are rarely quite things.) Coolant pumped through the entire frame, keeping the coldcore under wraps until it really needed to go. Fusion engines, power-reroutes designed along the Albatross style… where the verniers and thrusters aren't shaped for an RPV. (Remote Pilot Vehicles aren't uncommonly retrofitted for pilot use, he notes under his breath) [Under that red eye.] He eyes them again, as the giant thing keeps staring. There isn't any record of a computer smart enough to do anything of worth on this machine.

It was strictly Turning-Compliant, according to the CO's paperwork. That left the damages to repair. Bits of slagged armor along the leg-blades and shoulder plating. Nothing a few hours work with the rigs wouldn't fix. The mechtech flicked a few switches and brought the frame up to the light, to the arms that pulled and printed in smooth motions as his fingers danced across the keys. It was slower going than he thought. And the mech was making a noise. It was keening, a clatter-chatter at once both rumbling low and piercingly high. Something was wrong with the feedback from the mech-harness, reporting simple and blunt legionspace attacks. Best the cavalry technician could manage was to remove the offending plates before the assembly limbs gave up and stalled. That's when a hand touched his shoulder, and a voice rang in his ear. "My Loverboy doesn't know you, mechtech, but I do. Gimmie a minute to settle him down and you can get back to work."

The girl walks past him then, almost teeter-tottering as she glides across the floor on the tips of her shoes. She moves her legs wrong, picking her way as much as stepping. The cavalry tech looks at the mech's legs and puts together the kind of pilot he's dealing with. The kind that have gone in a direction past human, hunting for something else. (He'd never really known someone in full body prosthesis) [Was rare, in his neck of the galaxy.] She moves like her mech even as she steps off the gantry and onto its chest, placing hands against the grinning skull. Ever since she came in, the eye's been locked onto her alone. He worries and wonders what kind of monster he's got to work on now.

He screams for her, against the void, he tears away from the cling-gravity of the UNS-CV Paris (Like the commune, she offers) [Like lights, the therapist offers back.] But the past doesn't matter when the future is laid out in the bleeding world of 2000 kmph. She was safe from everything, safe from Gravity itself as she lay coiled in her Loverboy's guts, aching through Chronos haze and picking his flight path for him as a beautiful dance. She wanted him to run through his paces, and he was eager to please. To show her what he could do. How he was built for her. Like a butterfly flitting across a windless sky, like a shark dancing through a school of fish- Loverboy puts on a show for his girl.

She's spinning him a dance, putting the engine to its test. Her Loverboy screams for his girl as he dances, frame keening against the speed and void. (Allison watches Her legs twist against the seat.) [That's how she knew the engine was art] {State-of-the-art affection} She doesn't like to think about home. Not home anymore, and not worth thinking about. More Gravity shorn free from her under the speed. So what's it worth if its pulled away so easily? Home wasn't ever home, no matter how much anyone told Allison it was. What's where you're born compared to where you'll be? (What's the flesh you were born in but another place to be trapped in?) Allison feels her brain reel as Loverboy spins in a piroutte ascending. It doesn't spin in place, but it recognizes the forces working upon it as her Loverboy pulls into a rise. (The snap from horizontal to vertical would snap necks.) [But when you don't have Gravity, moving is easier.]

Verniers howl with force as Allison considers Her. (And the changes Allison had made to Her.) [Would She mind? Would She understand?] There are protective tendons, built from the same kind of whipcord steel that run through Loverboy. There are stabilization systems built into her braincase, that absorb and disperse the shock of sudden shifts of g-force. There's a dozen, a hundred little aftermarket touches to Her body that Allison has made. (But is it really that bad, when the body is aftermarket?) [When the body wasn't built for you.] Allison still watches Her, curled as Allison left Her. (Back curved gentle. Arms on knees, resting eyes against forearm.) [The clunky implants hooking Her to Loverboy peek their tubes from beneath Her shirt] She was still perfect. Still beautiful. Everything Allison had wanted to be back then. There She was, with Allison's brain in Her body, Allison's Loverboy hooked through feeds to Her back.

Allison reached in the stopped little flaring moments between directing Loverboy through his dance. They were all the same moment. Allison reached out, and cradled Her face, and said Her name. Something Allison couldn't ever know. (How was she supposed find Her? Long way from Ketherese.) [From everything from that life.] Everything but her Loverboy. He counts the micromovements of her eyes. His own whirrs and focuses, keening as the scopes hone in on a target and his body twists with his girl's desire. He counts the times she stops existing as a presence registered at the controls. He rolls over and considers in his clicking thoughts the ways he loves her. His adoration burns in him as retros flare and he lands blades first, touching against an asteroid with the grace of a butterfly upon a blossom. His thoughts turn and his computers chitter and churn. His whitewash tanks purge into rawmat resivors and a new batch is rapidly encoded, new chains of acids and code written by mute-drive, a silent organ buried deep in his frame, coiled round and through his girl.

The Hyperkinesis Module develops a novel admixture of nanites and adrenaline and feeds through the connection to Allison, filling her endocrine system with a soothing electricity synchronized to readouts and full reports of engine efficiencies, micrometeor grazes, and heat venting. (His body hisses for her, waste gas for heat disperial in null atmosphere environments) [He bares his heart to her, reactor dropping as he stretches against the asteroid.] Allison leans forward, the Chronos uptake stretching from her back and into the cockpit's back wall. (Little tubes running up to her spine and kidneys) [One of the other aftermarket touches to Her body.] Allison's face reaches through the holoscreen outputs of Loverboy's eye. She kisses the armored outer hull of her cockpit. (She stands to her toes.) And her Loverboy gently touches off the asteroid, into the void, gently floating in the empty place beyond Gravity.

Allison lowers her oxygen uptake, and rides the Chronos her Loverboy made for her. (She dreams like an editor.) [Looking at scenes and picking them.] A wash along the nervous system, stuttering climbing up her spinal column and into the brainstem. She dreams of Ketherese, and what was left behind. Consider the Gravity that's been shed. (In the embrace of her Loverboy.) [Memories are the only thing you can't shed.] Her grandfather's dirt is far from everything she'll ever see again. No one will see the frontiers she sees. (Allison will see things even She'll never see.) [Or maybe they'll see the same stars some day.] {Face-to-borrowed-face.}

No one she had ever known would see what she sees, know what she knows. (She'd shed them, like her old body.) [Like Gravity.]

How to Farm and 100% Master Chef

Optimal Excursion Time

On average, you get more ingredients with 20 minute excursions. However this isn't realistic for most people. 150 minutes lines up perfectly with the LP regeneration. So if you are using LP the moment it tops off, send out the characters and then use your LP. However, it's more important to pick the time that works best with your schedule.

RNG is a big factor since most locations will have 3+ ingredients and you need to gather from multiple locations for one dish. It's better to do longer excursions on the areas with multiple items and do the shorter excursions on the featured ingredient. When I have to cook a lot of dishes or start charcoaling, this is when I would do the 20 minute excursions cause I'll likely still be cooking by the time the group returns.

Starting to Cook

It is best to start cooking as soon as possible using mainly Bronze and some Silver ingredients if you have an excess. There could be many recipes that need a lot of ingredients from an area you unlock later. If you wanted one of the chef cards, I recommend that you try to purchase the SR key as soon as possible. By sending out the featured chef cards, you can get additional ingredients but this is a small bonus. Only the two featured chef cards have this bonus. You can still complete the event without owning one of the featured chef cards as long as you don't miss too many excursions. The chef cards from the previous master chef events do not have a bonus.

Earning Tokens

Each ingredient quality can be assigned a value. At 100% skill, you can make a 3* dish as long as the sum of the ingredient quality is equal to or greater than the minimum quality score for that recipe.

Gold - 3

Silver - 2

Bronze - 1

Minimum Quality Score at 100% to guarantee a 3* dish

2 Ingredient Recipe - 4 points

3 ingredient Recipe - 5 points

4 ingredient Recipe - 7 points

5 ingredient Recipe - 9 points

For example, you can make a 3* dish with 5 ingredients using 3 bronze and 2 gold (9 points).

Earning Money

Master Chef is the one of the best events to earn money and it only costs you time. You earn more per ingredient in a dish but the most optimal is the 2 ingredient dish. You will end up with a lot of extra ingredients if you are only gathering from two areas. But you can manually select the any two of the extra ingredients to create a failed dish/charcoal. Failed dishes will earn the same amount of thaumarks as successful ones.

For the completionists, this is the most effective way to 100% and 3 star any dish. This is important if you care that everything is complete for your album.

EDIT #2: Because this somehow made it outside of the intended audience I need to clarify that these are my HEADCANONS and are NOT 100% canon fact. Yes, majority of it is rooted in canon, but there's a good mix of my own thoughts too. I guess its flattering that they were liked this much, but quite frankly I'm also uncomfortable as this should never have been reblogged and inadvertently risk spreading false information. Just me compiling some notes about Kinich don't mind me:

He was noted to be one of the few people that has won the pilgrimage several times. While in the AQ there are also others who have ( i.e. Mualani, Chasca, etc. ), they went out of their way to note this in a live letter. And we can still assume that number is relatively small because we as the players will only meet people important to the plot.

In addition to the above, his skill speaks for itself when you have a whole group of people willing to switch to his team without problem just because its him.

He's died at least once during the Night Warden Wars— stated himself during the AQ. This is noteworthy to me because it keeps him on a very human level rather than making him into an unbeatable, untouchable person. He even lost the recent pilgrimage because of an injury sustained during the team competition. He's vulnerable, he makes mistakes. Or you can take it to mean that he might've put himself at risk for the sake of another any of these times.

He cooks, he cleans, he grows crops, sews, does the laundry, etc. etc. His tragic background and lack of adults to help him as he grew up meant that he had to learn all the household chores at a VERY early age. By the time he was seven, Kinich was on his own and refused to accept anyone's help or kindness. Not because he was stubborn, but because he'd already adopted the mindset that everything in the world came at a cost.

His character trailer implies that he's both skilled with a variety of weapons and will utilize anything he can to his advantage— being that one of the ' weapons ' was a selfie stick. The others were his claymore, a sword, and a pair of dual blades. He's crafty, adaptable, and seizes the opportunity. It's likely that he prefers two-handed weapons that can also be held in one hand when needed.

Being from the canopy, there's his interest in sports— both extreme and not. But to be honest, he prefers the extreme. They're more stimulating and the sense of danger brings about the feeling of freedom his people believe in. Normal sports might seem boring in comparison and he's admitted to finding something new once that happens. Mountain climbing, cave diving, bungee jumping, surfing, etc. If you name it, he's tried it. If he hasn't, then he will later.

He's been crowned dance champion— supposedly. This fact came from Ajaw, so it's fair to cast doubt. However, since when has Ajaw ever willingly offered Kinich some kind of praise ? I think this statement is most likely true and he was indeed being humble about it to avoid dancing. But even if it is false, we can still safely say he can. Music and dance are a vital part of Natlan's culture.

Life is more important than any kind of payment. He will always prioritize the life of another and has a strong disliking for anyone that would seek to endanger that life. With zero tolerance for poachers, bullies, and the like, no amount of mora can win him over. And getting to settle the score with them— whether its through himself or Ajaw— is all the payment needed.

He prefers his good deeds to remain in the shadows. No one has to sing his praises, in fact he's prefer they don't. Kinich has little interest in making a big deal about his actions and always keeps hush about anything he might've done. For example, Kachina had to find out from elsewhere that he'd dealt with her bullies before they were even friends.

He's so SO incredibly the mom friend. While he's not good at offering comfort or encouragement, he's observant and accommodates for others where he can. You can look at a couple of his voice lines for this where he's looking out for you and reminding you to take care. During the AQ, Mualani even knew that she could count on him to wake her and Kachina for the pilgrimage. Their exchange strongly suggests it wasn't the first time he'd had to do something like that.

EDIT:

Idk how I forgot to add this but he is ENTIRELY self-taught !! He never had someone to train him when it came to tracking, hunting, weaponry, and using the grappling hook. ( And for much of the housework after his mom left ). Instead, he learned on his own through sheer observation of others. And now he's lauded as one of the best in the nation.

It's implied during his story quest that he's the ONLY ONE to have inherited the Malipo name in 500 years. When Huni and Toba are talking to Sanka about who the name has been passed down to, they only mention Burkina and Kinich.

Taking the web event into canon consideration, Kinich is not only highly skilled in tracking and hunting saurians but also in raising them from egg to newborn.

Labeled as the mother and father of the group, the two are extremely close. When the two of them are paired up together, they take on caretaking roles. She makes sure Chan is eating and drinking properly, going as far as to hiding his laptop when he gets too workaholic. This led to many fights in their early years, but now when he starts overworking himself, all she needs to do is give him a look and he then takes a break. 

He introduced her to production pre-debut days. She is the only one in the group to be one of the producers that is not a part of 3racha 

He helped her discover her love of cooking, particularly Australian foods. 

When he starts getting homesick, she overnight ships ingredients to make homemade pizza or sashimi 

He makes sure she’s in bed at a reasonable time 

She is a shoulder to cry on for him and vice versa 

Minai (Minho x Kai) - Mother and daughter 

Popularity: 8/10 

When Chan is the father, kind to Kai, Minho is the tough love. Sure, he makes sure she’s okay first if she gets hurt, but when he knows she’s okay, he roasts the hell out of her. The two have an... interesting relationship. The two could be having skin ship one second, and then wrestling the next.  

Ex. “Have you eaten yet? Did you get hurt?” “Yes, Min. No, Min.” “You’re going to be” proceeds to chase her around the kitchen, going for her sides to tickle her. 

Teases her about her height (How’s the breeze down there?) 

She was the first one to eat lunch with him at the company 

She comforted him when he got eliminated. (“So what if you got eliminated? You have a friend in me now. I refuse to leave you behind; you are my family now”)

The loudest two in the group become the quietest when the two are paired together. I mean it. Changbin can go from yelling in one second but when Kai is touching him? Sedated. They are each other's rocks, and they are never not touching each other when together. And they are always together. 

Started calling her princess during the survival show 

Always gropes his ass or tits (It's not in a sexual way, it genuinely gives her comfort)

1. D ends up with H before the battle at hogwarts. I remember Narcissa being with them when they basically handed draco over. I think they stay at grimmauld place in the beginning but they get separated (I might be confusing it for another fic). The most important detail is that D and H end up in a cottage owned by narcissa and followed by Voldy’s henchmen but the deatheaters can’t see the cottage so D and H are safe. I might have gotten the timing wrong and it might have been set right after the battle of hogwarts (I’m still not sure on this sorry) There’s also no graphic sex from what i remember. 2. Harry is a celebrity chef, and Draco tweets at him for dinner, and Harry said he'd save him a table. Draco shows up and they cook together as a sort of date. The one key thing I remember is that Harry had a past relationship with Justin Finch-Fletchley but Justin dumped him.

3. it was about Draco being an unspeakable and what comes to my mind is this specific scene about Draco with one of his teammates joking about his nickname (all of them has a star's name as code name), talking about the pole star, I think Draco was "Polaris" and she said he was "Vega", like the ancient polar star, I can't remember much more. Draco was happy that he isn't recognized as a death eater between his co-workers and they really appreciated him. Harry was an auror? And they had to work together? I'm not really sure

5. post-war drrary fic where Harry and Draco lived in the Malfoy Manor and they were in an established relationship. Then Draco's behaviour started to change, he became mean, and Harry gave him an ultimatum, promising he won't put a foot in the Manor again if he leaves. Then Harry leaves and I think Draco was about to get married. But then Narcissa comes to Harry and explains that Lucius has put a curse on Draco to break their relationship. I specifically remember that she told Harry that Draco was musing how to apologise to him. Harry then came back to the Manor. I think it was on ao3 but I'm not sure

6. I am looking for a Hogwarts era fic. It's after the war. Harry is fed up with being treated like a hero so he enters into a friends with benefits arrangement with Draco. They are sneaking away to hook up and have a lot of hate sex and bond over their taste in music. I specifically remember them having sex to Kashmir by Led Zeppelin and Deftones. 8. drarry multi-chapter fic i read on ao3 a bit ago. it was set around christmas/holidays, established relationship, harry has mental health problems and is distant so draco thinks he's cheating on him but he reveals that hes been going to a mind healer like secretly. also i think teddy is in it and they go ice skating with him? the fic is about like draco helping harry get his life back together and fixing their relationship.

I read this ages ago, dont remember what site but it was complete and mature content. title was like Griffendor <something>, Slythering <something> (i think) after school, harry is a pro quidditch player and draco is a magazine editor or something? One of them decides to write a book (draco?) and goes to the other for help with source material(?). We find out that they are divorced and have been court ordered to stay away from each other because of destructive fights. There was also some flashbacks where they like fed each other strawberries and one of them (harry?) told the other that the cost of the strawberry was marriage? And there was something about a pair of lockets they had from when they were married that they still wear but are hiding from each other?

11. i think it was a war au, draco was at grimmauld because reasons and he was helping the order with the potions, at one point he helps snape or remus because they were hurt? And he and harry had this thing or something, but he caught harry kissing one of the twins and he thought that harry wasn't interested, but he was just like practicing the kisses or something?

12. Looking for a fic I read some years ago in german, but I am pretty sure it was translated from english. It is about Draco helping Harry and his friends escape from Malfoy Manor in the seventh book and being captured by the Death Eaters. He gets thrown into a cell without any sensory stimulation, but gets rescued after the war. The fic deals with the consequences of that, I am not quite sure if he is at St. Mungos for some time, but he definitely gets close to Harry in his healing process. Sorry if this is too vague or if it turns out that the fic was originally in german.

Gus considers her his apprentice in cooking, and she’s definitely learning a lot! She’s the second best cook in town (Hailey would never admit this, but she likes her strange recipes)

She listens to a lot of music, and she listens to whatever genre! She has some favorite genres, but sometimes she puts on a playlist she usually wouldn’t listen to in order to get inspired to do something different, and so she ends up discovering so many artists! Anyone in town, from George to Sam, can talk to her about music, as she truly knows a bit of everything

Beginner Tips : Wuthering Waves

I want to compile informations that I thought useful or I have missed the first time I play WuWa and only realized after my friend mentioned it to me.

1. Shilang is a shop owner in Tiger's Maw mine that sell a lot of useful things including a 4* weapon selector (the currency : Lampylument ore)

2. When you mine in other player's world, both you and the other player received the ore. No matter how far apart you guys were. That's why I used to mine together with my friend, I went to pick lampylument and he would pick the red ore. So it get done quicker. (This doesn't work for any other resources tho, as far as I know)

3. Idk since when, but you actually can create weapon exp and echo exp in synthesizer. Just for a small amount, but better than nothing I guess.

4. Uncle Wei, in front of craft station, sell some material for weapon/forte upgrade. Sadly, it didn't reset.

5. For faster mining, I used Calcharo to mine. He need only 1 hit to break the ore. Jiyan need 2. Basically use broadblade user to mine faster. BUT, Changli also just need 1 hit (her BA1 slash multiple times).

5.1. After version 1.2 , we have a new utility Hoverdroid, you can use it to mining faster as well. Just need one shoot per ore, much more like using broadblade user but better since now you can even mining from afar.

6. Don't build too many character. Resources are pretty limited here. If you ended up with all half assed teams, it's going to be hard going forward. I stick with 2 teams until UL 55 I guess? Before building my 3rd team (after getting Changli) and now this 3rd team sucked me dry fr, I'm UL 61 now, with 40k shell credit and no other resources lol.

7. Do illusive realms. No matter how suck you're at it. You can get a lot of materials upgrade there. Just do it slowly, since you can save your progress anyway (you need to quit properly tho, tap door icon > save progress. If you just quit or disconnected the progress won't be saved and you won't get any score).

8. You can skip Scar's story telling if you insist on attacking him. Attack him, attack him, attack him. Be aggressive. Beat his ass immediately. Lol.

9. Animals have a much lower def than Tacet discord. And Goat have lower def than Cow. You want to showcase your burst damage to your friends? Go find a goat...and use your ult. You will see big number. BUT I'M NOT PROMOTING ANIMAL ABUSE OKAY, don't be cruel towards animals irl guys, don't. That's horrible. We do this in game because we need the meats to cook. Yes, definitely that.

10. Talking about Cook, every recipes have a certain level of proficiency. Each time you make the recipe it will increase the number until it doesn't lol.

After reaching the maxed proficiency, the recipe you cook won't increase your chef level anymore. Go cook another recipe.

11. The same with Research point in Synthesizer as well.

12. Let's talk about echo. If you're a new player, save all the echo you got until you reach data base lv 15. Then you can combine it for a chance to get 5* echo. Or if you patient enough, wait until you reach data bank 21. The chance getting 5* become 100%. But fighting mobs without equipping any echo is quite tiring, so... just do it if you think you can.

12.1. If you finish hunting all 5* echoes but somehow haven't enough experience to reach 21, go check your guide book and see Milestone, one of the rewards is actually data bank experience.

1 - Origins: The origin of Tsuburaya

Summary:

The infamous Tsuburaya brothers... That family name should be familiar to everyone in the halls of Sakura nō hana Academy. The two had a reputation for being family, yet having different interests. To add, they look very much like each other - However the only difference is hair color and accessories; Shoku has his mother's auburn hair and Geiju has his father's red hair. Shoku doesn't have glasses while Geiju does.

Shoku Tsuburaya, the leader of the cooking club, in hopes one day, he will be able to cook for the highest ranks of Japan. For now, he's sticking to cooking for his close friends and his younger brother. Contrary to popular belief, Shoku is the older twin. Not Geiju. Shoku has a very unhealthy mindset that if he messes up, then Geiju might mess up too. He has perfectionist issues and hence why expectations for him are so high, his parents support his dream of becoming a chef but pressure is what causes him to break sometimes.

Geiju Tsuburaya, the leader of the art club and the younger twin was the more simplistic of the two, he didn't have big dreams or anything, he just wanted to live comfortably in a nice home, he knows his brother's, mindset is unhealthy but didn't know how to approach with it. He hopes that his brother will understand that it's okay to be imperfect but he's too good at hiding his own emotions under a mask and Shoku might constantly reassure Geiju that he's fine, convincing him to just... Drop the subject.

The parents of the twins don't suspect anything from their older son. Geiju didn't want to rat Shoku out to their parents because he fears Shoku might get mad at him. Geiju didn't like any verbal arguments with his brother however, he was entirely fine with verbally arguing with their parents if Shoku was in any trouble with them. If anything, Geiju wanted Shoku to atleast show himself some respect because of what he does...

To add to this, when they were in preschool, they met a girl named Hiroshiko. They became close friends, alongside Tsuruzo Yamazaki, Kuroko Tanaami, Fred Jones, Uekiya Engeika.

The friendship among the group lasted until their last year of senior high. Which is when the storyline takes place.

2 - Origins: The origin of Kashibuchi

Summary:

Hiroshiko Kashibuchi - If you ask any one, they'd say she's the sewing club's leader. But what many don't know is that she's the older sister of Hazu Kashibuchi too. To everyone, Hazu is invisible, casted under his Aneki's shadow. He's deeply insecure because his aneki is everything he isn't.

Hazu is a shy boy by nature. Most likely gets it from his father. Hiroshiko gets her charismatic behavior from her mother.

Hazu is ashamed of himself but Hiroshiko always assures Hazu that he's just as great as she is, Hiroshiko is protective of her baby brother. She dislikes Musume Ronshaku because she used to bully her club members, Kokoro Momoiro is one of them. Kokoro was bullied in her previous school, but when the transfered to the Academy, Hiroshiko invited her to join the sewing club. Kokoro, seeing a new opportunity, she joined and she grew to love sewing. Horuda Umetsu was also a former victim of Musume and her gang. Hiroshiko told Musume to back off and Horuda found solace in Hiroshiko's presence - Every time Hiroshiko would eat lunch with her friends, Horuda was always nearby.

Hiroshiko quickly caught onto Horuda's antics and handed Horuda an opportunity to join the sewing club too.

Otohiko Meichi, another one of Musume's victims because of acting "too feminine", Hiroshiko taught Otohiko self defense if Musume decided to take her hurtful antics further. Despite this, Otohiko was still weak, but he wanted to thank Hiroshiko, he also liked to cosplay and wanted to learn how to make his own cosplay instead of buying - He joined the club, and they began to act like a family, helping one another, lending a hand to others in need.

Hazu doesn't feel like he has to hide anymore, realizing he's just like his sister, making friends come easy when you have common interests.

3 - Origins: The origin of Raibaru Fumetsu

Summary:

Raibaru Fumetsu, one of the strongest martial artists in the Academy, and the best friend of Osana Najimi, was a tough opponent to anyone who challenged her.

As hardheaded as most are, they didn't heed the warnings that challenged Raibaru prior to them.

Raibaru wasn't anyone special - Or that's what she thought, people strongly admired her for her strength. Raibaru was often flattered by the boys asking her out, but Raibaru didn't focus on love. She focused on friendships.

Raibaru comes from a family who owns a dojo - From a very young age, Raibaru trained there. Improving herself and her fighting skills. She has learned discipline from her constant training and she helps around in the dojo in her free time.

As talented as she is, Raibaru uses her martial arts to protect others and her loved ones. She would never use her skills and talents to hurt someone without reason.

4 - Origins: The origin of Sadatoshi

Summary:

Have you ever heard of Boru and Oniyami Sadatoshi? The two siblings who look exactly alike that if Oniyami cut her hair any shorter, she'd look exactly like Boru.

Boru and Oniyami didn't seem to care for anyone other than each other - However, Hanako Yamada, the younger sister of Taro Yamada, tried to befriend Oniyami, however, Oniyami didn't like Hanako's optimistic personality. However, Oniyami has learned to tolerate it.

Boru thinks that Hanako is a bad influence to Oniyami but Hanako didn't care.

Hanako continued to irritate Oniyami, irritate because that's how Oniyami saw Hanako. Oniyami saw Hanako as a pitiful stray kitten who just wouldn't stop following her.

Oniyami found Hanako's behavior quite annoying yet entertaining. Boru didn't really care much about it.

5 - Origins: The origins of Kuroko Tanaami

Summary:

Contrary to popular belief, Japanese Shinto does not actually condem Homosexuality, in the case of Kuroko Tanaami - She has two fathers, due to the fact her parents died early in her life plus she has no extended family, she was adopted by two lovely men.

When the headmaster of the academy recognized the surname... He stood in fear.

As scared as the headmaster was, he allowed Kuroko to enter the student council. Many students were somewhat intimidated by her but she didn't seem as scary as she was initially thought. She was just strict and liked her personal space.

Kuroko grew up studying a lot - She had friends which wasn't a concern to her parents. She legally changed her surname to Tanaami after abandoning her birth last name, Kamenaga. Yet she was okay with using the Kamenaga surname.

1980's mode

6 - The origin of Reiichi Tanaami

Summary:

N/A.

If there was anything that could make the headmaster shiver in his boots, it would be the student council, the president can basically scare the headmaster by his presence alone.

The student council, infamous for their skills and never ending loyalty to protect the student body. Reiichi was a strict president, always punishing the troublemakers.

It was never easy for him. His job was to constantly schold students who were misbehaving and causing mischief.

Many students wonder why he was so stern and strict, was it because he was raised strictly to be perfect? Was it because he lacked empathy? Or was it just his nature? Reiichi has admitted that he just grew up too fast, he can't heal his inner child with the responsibilities he has to shoulder.

Though in 1988, he claimed that he didn't need a vice president like Ichiko Saikou but he took that back real fast the following year then the previous enforcer enrolled for the role again. Reiichi asked for her to enter the role of vice president to the confusion of the previous enforcer, she was about to remind him of what he said but shushed her quickly - The girl shrugged and enter the roll for vice president, thinking it won't be hard.

7 - Origins: The origin of Arutea Torentino (Althea Tolentino)

Summary:

One of the two girls in the student council, the vice president, was a persistent and strong young woman. She's agile, and quick on her feet like a hunting dog. Despite her 5'2 height, she can climb that metal fence by the incenerator within six seconds, faster than the enforcer, who's physically fit. Arutea practices parkour in her free time, and trained herself to run fast. Her quick reaction time was because of her free time jumping on abandoned buildings, her parents were aware of what she does, and often tend to her injuries when she slips up on her parkour.

At the same time, her renowed skills of spying and eavesdropping is what made Ichiko Saikou choose her, Ichiko took Arutea to be the enforcer in 1988 and wanted to enter the position once more in 1989, but Reiichi insisted she take role of vice president which Arutea was fine with anyway, so she took the role and became the vice president.

Arutea had her job deadset on locating and tracking contraband. If the student council had to describe her as an animal, they'd call her a police dog, and because she has the tendency to memorize almost the entire floorplan - As a student who came from the Philippines, school floors are very complicated especially in elite schools.

Her parents decided that they move to Japan so they can start business and since Arutea needed a fresh start after intense torture and bullying from her old school.

Other than this, in the 202X, she is married and is the mother to Hiroshiko and Hazu Kashibuchi.

8 - Origins: The origin of Kenji "Ken" Kyonashima

Summary:

Kenji, better known as Ken, was a boy of the friendly side, he can't see the bad side at all and no matter how hard you can say he's bad at reading people, he can't understand it.

Ken is just that type of person, an optimist and was a generally friendly boy, he wouldn't wish harm upon anyone at all!

However, he was no push-over either. He's not aggressive but he is stern, he will fight for what's right and he will not tolerate any bullying under his watch.

He likes to read in his spare time and likes to go shopping with his mom, no one really judges him for it.

He's overall a really sweet guy who likes to cook and bake, he's a wonderful boy, even the delinquents think he's too nice for his own good.

9 - Origins: The origin of Aragaki

Summary:

Daisaku Aragaki and Komako Aragaki - The twins, two sides of the same coin. Komako, elegant and beautiful, while Daisaku, face scarred, scary... And their younger sister, Daiko, a sweet girl who's an archer.

The twins are opposites of one another, Daiko took some of their hobbies, Daiko got her elegance and skincare routine from her Aneki, Daiko got her love for male-dominant sports from her Aniki.

Daisaku, Komako and Daiko all grew up in a household where Komako was the elder twin - However, Daisaku just became difficult in his own free will, when Daisaku got into fights, Komako would schold him as she took care of his wounds, Daiko would just stare at Daisaku's wounds, thinking they're cool! However, their parents never really wanted Daiko to get influenced by Daisaku but it just happened.

Daiko never grew to be rebellious, just very masculine - She likes to study, but her work in 202X is in a male dominant field which was firefighting.

10 - Origins: The origin of Joze Shiuba (Jose Silva)

Summary:

There's a difference between Arutea and Joze, Arutea came to Japan as a transfer student, Joze came to Japan as a foreign exchange.

Ever since he came to Japan, he was nervous and constantly stumbling over his japanese.

Joze was a kind heart but the remarks he got for being a non-asian was rude. Arutea would stand up for him, the students then become a bat and Arutea is water.

Arutea watched over Joze for the first few days until under Reiichi's word, that she recruit Joze. Arutea took Joze under his excuse for leadership training.
