Finally the first photos of the 'Legenden der Tiefen' arrived. A way more smaller Con than expected but we were lucky we had very great people there. I had a lot of fun! Very hard work at the turnpike - tbh one of the best game offers I had for a very long time because you chat with a looot of people and that was great!

was a Soldier until she was left for dead after a battle and was saved by a wise woman named Schaikjasch. In order to pay the price for her miraculous healing according to Samland tradition, she then entered the service of the herbalist and did errands and ordinary chores for her. But before Dārta could repay her depth in full, the wise woman disappeared without a trace, without freeing Dārta of her servitude. When Schaikjasch's student Tolmis came some time later to seek advice from his master, Darta was still in the wise woman's hut, as she had not dared to leave without permission. Now she helps Tolmis find his master, assists and protects him in hopes of eventually being free of servitude. She still carries around her broken gun in hopes of finding someone who can fix it. She's also afraid of pretty much anything, first of all magic, since Tolmis will sometimes ask her to take part in his herbalist rituals. Dārta is the fist non-elven player character that I played in a very long time. The photo was taken at @bogenwaldlarp by @delink_fotografie where the character had her debut. The costume is inspired by the witcher games and several other sources. The prop gun is of course inspired by the guns from "Princess Mononoke" and was originally commissioned for a character I then never played, and sadly the chances of it firing are very low, so I switched to archery mid event, which was great fun. Now I only need to find (possibly witcher-universe) larp event that are not *that* far from where I live, because 9 hours drive is just too far for regular visits. Interesting fun fact: this was filmed in the Larp-Village Bogenwald which is a super cool intime Larp location here in Germany!! You can buy/build houses there and just be intime whenever. I have friends who have houses there who spend a lot of time just living and chilling in a small medieval fantasy larp village, complete with a tavern, alchemist, shops etc.

You should check out their instagram to see how much love goes into all the little details. The houses are build and decorated by everyday larpers themselves in their freetime and it's incredible what they have accomplished so far!

While you can't just visit it (it's not a funfair attraction, after all), they are always looking for helping hands when it comes to building new structures and decorating the streets of the village. Anyway, this song lowkey slaps and I can't wait to hear it in a Tavern once Covid is over and we can Larp again :(

I don't have an addiction, I swear I can stop! - Since Beatrix is official a supporter Ranalds, the God of Luck, Fortune and Mischief in the Warhammer World, it seems that she have even more luck.. Sometimes. Maybe. But what is clear: you have to loose from time to time so you won't expelled from the roulette table.

I can't wait to open an illegal casino.. I mean a temple of Ranald of course!

Do you have any good gambling games? Just asking for.. Research reasons of course.

In almost 3 weeks LARP is starting again. It's so surreal that you can finally go back to events and meet people there. There are a lot of people I only see on LARP events and it's so ridiculous that I didn't seen them for almost 3 years now. Can't believe my last Con is 3 years back in time.

Nevertheless I try to make everything ready for Bogenwald. I can't change that almost all of my clothing is too big now, since I lost a lot of weight while Corona, but I bought new hair and new armor parts. Can't wait for the upcoming photos of the event.

#ad @ubisoftde A few weeks ago I had a great weekend with great people like @morrsreject@pipasadventures@big_bald_bearded_viking and @yorick_olafson. It was great to met them at @bogenwaldlarp and talk a bit more. I really don't have the time at Con to talk to a lot of people even I really want to. So it was nice that we had this time. It was great to be part of this big project and also super interesting to watch. I am super hyped for that short film. In addition it was really nice to be in costume somewhere again. 😅 The great photo was made by the talented @thecompanionphotography She did many many more amazing photos of this weekend. I really adore her photography style.

'Write that down, Miss Porter!' Had a wonderful evening with wonderful people this weekend. It was so fun to investigate the curious things that happened in the little sleepy town Nipawomsett. Thank you @madame_rogue @benboltek@bogenwaldlarp and many many more! It was my first Cthulhu inspired 'larp' and really fell in love with it. The roles of Inspector Mr. O'Malley by @morrsreject and the Reporter Miss Porter was so fun. Would totally play them again 10/10. 😊
